Looks can be deceiving!! Yes, the views from the Skyline Club are gorgeous, but the good ends there. Our wedding reception here was beyond disappointing. Our coordinator, Ashley, smiled and nodded during the whole planning process, but the day of the wedding, it’s like she took all our plans and threw them out the window. The bartenders and servers were extremely rude and the level of service was a 0/10. The list of complaints we have and lies we got from the Skyline Club are too long to list, but it all comes down to the staff. Maybe if they clear house, it could be a different story.

The ceremony and reception venue was perfect. We had a great evening and everything was almost perfect. The food was not as good as when we had our trial - which was a disappointment. But, the service was top notch and the coordinator was great (Ashley). She knew everything going on - but we did have to go through almost everything during the rehearsal with little direction. I wish she would have directed us a bit more - but she was still nice to work with. Bar tenders were great as well!! Cake was cut into too small of pieces, even though we asked for large pieces. But - the venue itself is BEAUTIFUL - especially in the evening.

Just simply stunning. Everyone absolutely loved the views. Very romantic feel with the candle lighting and surrounding skyline. Ashley was incredible and prompt with all the changes and adjustments throughout the planning. She helped put everything out and really streamlined the preparation on the day of the wedding. The only trouble I had with the event space was that your guests have to enter off of New York St instead of the main entrance. It’s a little deceiving but had some family members guide guests to the entrance with handheld signs as One America security doesn’t allow any signage on the main floor or outside. The actually skyline club was absolutely incredible.

Our wedding reception could not have turned out any better! AJ was a pleasure to work with and made sure that every detail was exactly the way we wanted it. The venue is chic and doesn't require many decorations, since the layout of the room and views are so breathtaking in themselves. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how AMAZING the food was. If you're looking for an elegant, sophisticated, modern venue to make your wedding dreams come true - pick Skyline!

Best rehearsal dinner ever! Kathy was so wonderful to work with while planning our last minute rehearsal dinner after our original venue closed without notice. It was held in the bistro room- perfect size for our large group and unbeatable views of dtwn. The food was delicious and I was happy it gave me the option for stations. It was so chic, without being stuffy or pretentious- can't believe we considered going anywhere else!

Kathy is amazing! We had our rehearsal dinner here and she was an absolute blessing. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and the views are breathtaking. I would recommend to anyone getting married or hosting a large event to utilize this amazing space especially when you know you have as great as a person as Kathy to work with!

Skyline Club was the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner! We booked The Bistro room. Luckily it was a clear night with a fantastic view of the circle and downtown Indianapolis. The event coordinator Kathy made the process so easy. We received lots of compliments about the venue and the food. We highly recommend Skyline Club for your special occassion!

The Skyline Club was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The views are unparalleled, the food is amazing, and the decor is simple yet classic. What really set The Skyline Club apart was Kathy Ray, the venue's event planner. She made the planning and wedding day run exceptionally smoothly. Her customer service, positive attitude and willingness to make our day exactly how we wanted was amazing. She really went above and beyond. We could not have been more pleased with the Skyline Club and if we were to re-do our day, we would choose it again every time.

I cannot say enough about the Skyline Club and staff, especially Kaitlyn. The entire planning process went smoothly and the night was beyond my expectations. We wanted a place in Indianapolis that was classy, cozy, and with breathtaking views, which is why we chose Skyline. We liked that Skyline has their own kitchen and we didn't have to go through a caterer. They accommodated gluten and nut allergies and a guest even had his jaws wired shut and they were able to puree lobster so he could eat. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement! The complimentary champagne with the bar was an added bonus. We were on a budget and Kaitlyn was able to find exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking in the Indianapolis area! Thank you Skyline for the best time of our lives!

Once I really started working with my assigned coordinator, everything flowed like a dream. All of my visions were executed perfectly with very little direction from me. The food was delicious and all of my guests raved about it! I would most definitely recommend this venue.

We chose the Skyline Club for the amazing views of Indianapolis. We had guests coming from Australia so it was great for them to see the city in lights. The venue set up was perfect as well! Everything was so beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would recommend this venue to everyone!

I couldn't have been happier with having my wedding at the Skyline Club. I did many things untraditionally and they helped me every step of the way--I'm sure I don't even realize how much easier the event planning process was. The planners I worked with (Traci and Kelsey) were amazing. Anything I needed they were on it. \r\rThen the event space was breathtaking. Little decoration is needed because the views are all that are needed. It was the perfect venue because it was a view of Indianapolis that was new for the people that live here, and was such a great introduction to those who have never visited the city before. \r\rWe have just heard compliment after compliment from our guests about their time, great food, the views, etc. \r\rIf you're looking to throw an amazing wedding and blow away your friends and family, the Skyline Club is a must. \r

For a small wedding this place is PERFECT! we had 125 people at our wedding and could NOT have picked a better place! Food was delicious, and everyone loved the feel of the room and the amazing view! They even dealt with a few of our over-intoxicated guests rather well...i was very very pleased!

Our reception at the Skyline Club was great. The food is excellent and the view is stunning (if you think downtown Indianapolis is stunning anyway, which I do).\r\rPlanning was a bit of an issue only because the planner we began with quit and moved to a new job at the club. We were taken care of by the less experienced planner, which honestly gave us a bit of a scare. Ultimately, though, the reception turned out great and all went well.\r\rWith everything being included, the planning was very easy. We didn't have to worry about table settings, bringing in extra chairs, or outside food vendors because it's all done in house. It felt nice not getting nickle and dimed for every little thing. Overall it was a great value compared to other downtown venues (like Di Amore - holy cow that was expensive).\r\rWe had a lot of guests with children, and the club was very accommodating. They provided an extra room that served as a \"kids room\" with an included TV/DVD player while we brought in coloring books and crayons. Our guests with children loved it!\r\rOur guests are still talking about the reception three weeks later - how great it was. Thanks to both Traci and Lauren for making the reception a great experience!

The staff was on top of everything and we ask should we tip each of them we were told no, I always worry about that kind of thing one less thing to worry about. The food was amazing,, everyone lover the pasta bar, it was the big hit. The food, the downtown lights, the staff, made it a wedding worth talking about!! We even came in under budget, when does that happen?

All of the staff was incredibly easy to contact and very accommodating. Not to mention it is a GORGEOUS space with the best view! We could see the jumbo-tron at Lucas Oil to catch glimpses of the game live during the reception!

We held our wedding reception of 175 people at the Skyline Club. We were extremely happy with how our reception turned out. It was very classy and not your typical wedding reception venue. \rThe coordinators were wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. Our main coordinator was very organized which made planning the reception easy! \rWe chose to do a buffet for dinner which turned out to be a wonderful choice. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it so that no person was left still feeling hungry!\rOur guests enjoyed being able to mingle during the reception in the Bistro as well as the main dining room. We had plenty of space to move around the Skyline Club and never felt confined to one single space. \rThe staff was very professional and very helpful especially at the end of the evening when we had to carry out flowers and gifts, they assisted with everything. \rThere is nothing I would have changed about our wedding reception nor do I have any suggestions for the Skyline Club staff, it was amazing! If you choose to hold your reception at the Skyline Club you will not be disappointed!

The Skyline Club is an amazing reception venue! I found it to be one of the most affordable reception venues downtown. It is absolutely stunning on the inside and has beautiful views overlooking downtown Indianapolis. Their event director, Traci, was amazing to work with as well. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reception site!

We picked the Skyline Club based on the wonderful views on Indianapolis, the convenient location, and the intimacy of the club for our event. We were surprised at how special we were treated! The staff did everything we asked for, and then some. They took care of so many or the setup and coordination efforts. They were very thorough and made our event beautiful and seamless. We received endless compliments on our reception. Our every need was caterered to and then some. The reception planning was the least stressful part of planning the wedding thanks to the Skyline Club. How many bride's can say that? \r\rI would definitely recommend this venue to any bride, and would go back if I ever planned a formal event of decent size again.\r\r

August 11, 2012 \r\rThe Skyline Club is the perfect location for a wedding reception! Floor-to-ceiling windws throughout (including on the dance floor) overlook the downtown skyline, Lucas Oil Stadium and the State Capitol From daylight views to the nighttime sky, this venue is gorgeous. Our daughter's wedding included almost 100 guests and the Skyline Club was comfortably roomy for everyone, including a 5-piece live band. Our use of the Club included 1/2 of the 36th floor -- the Bistro for cocktails and open bar, the dining room and the dance floor which is nesteld in-between. \r\rFrom our first exploratory visit, Traci was amazing and made the whole planning process so very easy. No added room rental fees made this venue even more appealing. The staff worked very well with our other vendors -- florist, cake and band. All of the food Skyline served was WONDERFUL, and we received many compliments from guests.\r\rWe cannot say enough about the fabulous and accomodating staff who checked in with us every 45 min or so during the reception to be sure things were going as planned. At the end of the evening, staff had already loaded all of the gifts onto a cart before we even realized it. A staff member actually accompanied us down the elevator and loaded the gifts into our car for us. (Oh yes, another bonus is the underground parking that we were happy to cover for our guests @ only $3/car.)\r\rWe were also impressed that upon leaving, we were handed the \"top of the cake\" which had been double-wrapped, boxed and wrapped again -- already 1/2 frozen becuase they had stored it in the freezer while we all partied. Nice touch!\r\rThe Skyline Club was also very accomodating about our desire to have \"late night food\" delivered. Staff assisted with the delivery and put out the 15 pizzas on a serving table for us. \r\rThank you, Skyline Club, for a beautiful and perfect evening. Elegant, classy and first class service! We didn't have to \"do\" anything nor did we have to be concerned about anything except celebrating with our friends and family.

The skyline club is unique and beautiful, the staff is professional and always very helpful! Our food was great and people were amazed by the view! You should really consider this place when you start looking for a reception venue, we originally thought it would be super expensive, but after talking with Traci they were very accomodating with our budget (we had 175 adults at our reception). Our wedding was a blast and we highly recommend the Skyline Club :) I also wanted to add that we did NOT have a sit down dinner, we did stations (no seating chart) and people LOVED being able to mingle and eat as they pleased!!

I first heard of the Skyline club through the knot's vendor list. It looked nice. The moment we stepped off the elevator on the 36th floor, my fiance and I were blown away. The main dining room is beautiful and the views amazing. Our event coordinator was so helpful, friendly, and great to work with. They were so accomedating to help us plan out what we wanted. The food was delicious, we got lots of compliments from our guests. I would recommend the skyline to anyone.

On 36th floor of One America, The Skyline Club provided an absolutely breath taking view for a night time reception. The staff was excellent with which to work, and made our visions for an eloquent reception come true. There was truely nothing that the bride and I requested that they did not work hard to create. The food was delicious and was served with flair and pomp. It was an evening dreams are made of!

The Skyline Club could not have been a better venue for our wedding! We had 130 people and the venue was the perfect size. Tracy and her staff were fabulous to work with and you get a lot for your money at the Skyline Club. For example - linens, a champagne toast and cake cutting/serving were included with the Skyline Club; but at most other places I looked these things cost extra. We had great food which our guests are still raving about. We had a DJ and a photo booth and the Club accommodated both very well. We had wine, beer + champagne provided and guests could pay cash for liquor drinks which worked out fine for our guests. The day-of coordinator (Taylor) did such a great job putting together the decor I gave her in addition to making sure our vendors had no trouble with set up. All our vendors said that the Club was easy to work with. And I can guarantee that our guests thought we paid a lot more than we did. Our reception was classy & modern we are so glad that we had our special night at the Skyline Club!

My husband (then fiancé) and I toured about 25 different venues and inquired a number more around Indianapolis of all price ranges and felt pretty discouraged by our search. I was looking for a venue that was more than your average, vanilla box of a room but that would not be ridiculous in price. We were a day away from signing a contract with another venue and then I stumbled upon the Skyline Club online! We set up a tour and we were immediately in awe of their space!! We thought the whole package was too good to be true and as we looked around and asked questions, we were waiting for something negative to come up. Through our entire time working with Traci and Taylor, EVERYthing went smoothly, flawlessly, and easily. There were no add-on fees for silly things like using colored napkins, we had access to different rooms on the floor through the whole night, and we were treated with such respect. They were genuinely kind and really sweet women and the rest of the staff were great too. I kind of wish my husband and I could have a second wedding day so that we could have another reception there!

The Skyline Club was an incredible place to have our reception - all evening we heard great feedback....fab venue, amazing views of downtown, what a classy place, this is great, service and food is fantastic...\rEveryone had a blast at our reception and the staff exceeded my expectations. Everything was spot on -- even the small details that I stressed over were handled and executed flawlessly.\rThe pricing and options were great. I loved that everything was included and there were very few 'extra charges'. And Traci and Renee were happy to brainstorm ideas to keep us in our budget to get the best bang for our buck.\rI'd highly recommend the Skyline Club to anyone looking for a classy, unique venue in downtown Indianapolis.

Our wedding was July 9, 2011 and we had our reception at the Skyline Club. It was absolutely beautiful. The meals are gourmet and were hot and served at the same time for everyone. All the courses were served promptly and in a very professional manner. The coordinators were very helpful throughout the planning process and all I had to do was give everything to the coordinators that needed to be set-up and they set-up everything for me. I would HIGHLY recommend the Skyline Club. The staff, the food, the service, and of course, the view were outstanding!

Traci Ashcraft and her staff did an amazing job in helping us plan and then execute our reception! They helped us stay within a budget and everything was taken care of with no worrying from us. The place looked beautiful and you definitely can't beat the amazing view! Our guests were constantly by the windows checking out all of downtown. GREAT place!

The club was so accommodating to everything that we needed....they even found a place for our dog (also our ring bearer) to stay during the party. They were great to work with in the planning stages, making several changes to menus and setup without hesitation. The venue itself is stunning. Being on the 36th floor, with one whole wall being glass you get a magnificent view of downtown at night. I would recommend them to anyone who wants an elegant, classy, non-cookie cutter reception site! They also do not charge a million little fees for everything, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Food, drinks, taxes, and gratuity--thats it.

The Skyline Club was very easy to work with. It is a very classy place, but doesn't give off a stuffy vibe, so everyone was able to have a great time there! We had a live band and everyone stayed until midnight! We had a great time & the food was great!

The views alone are enough to make you book the Club on site! The food was phenomenal and everyone complimented us on our reception and how wonderful it was. Very resonably priced and they were willing to do whatever we wanted to make it special.
