Ceremony Site and Reception Venue in Maryville, TN

Smith Event Centers is Maryville's preferred venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions. We offer an outdoor venue, Smithview Pavilion, which was designed for wedding ceremonies and outdoor receptions. We also offer two other venues for smaller sized wedding & receptions at our Life Event Center and our Hampton Hall. These two venues are ideal for your intimate wedding, elopement, rehearsal dinner or your bridal shower. All 3 venues are separate facilities but are all tied to the Smith campus including our sister company, Flower Shop. We also offer Brown's Creek Bridge for elopements/ceremonies and as part of your Smithview Pavilion rental. We are conveniently located inside the city of Maryville and only 4.5 miles from the Knoxville Airport and only 25 miles south of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We had our wedding at Smithview Pavilion and it was PERFECT!! The ground are beyond beautiful and we’re perfect for the forest/garden/ethereal feel we were going for. Everyone we worked with at Smith Event Centers was fantastic. Price is also very reasonable.

We found this venue after searching multiple venues that either wasn’t right or more than we wanted to spend. This spot was affordable and absolutely perfect for our ceremony. We had it on the bridge and it was beautiful and a convenient location for everyone.

What an amazing venue and BEAUTIFUL place for a wedding. The staff is accommodating and efficient without being cold and the natural beauty of the venue was breathtaking alone.It was my dream venue and will forever be in love with it. The manager is amazing and helpful and was helpful the ENTIRE way through. They also recommend vendors as well to help with the planning which was a HUGE stress relief!Thank you so much for everyone at Smithview Pavilion!!! You made my dream come true ❤️

We had our wedding at Smithview in October and it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Everyone who works there was so friendly and helpful, not only leading up to the wedding but on the day off. We fit ~160 people comfortably, even when it started raining and we all needed to be under the pavilion. I am so grateful that we chose Smithview and will recommend it to anyone who is considering this venue!

I definitely recommend having your wedding here! The staff is very helpful with setup and breakdown, and will help you with details. There are multiple places to hold a ceremony, take pictures, do a first look, etc. It is a beautiful venue and very affordable!

This place exceeded my expectations. We're from Florida and I found Smithview Pavilion online through The Knot. We only got to see how beautiful this place was 3 days before our wedding and let me tell you, the pictures do not do it justice. It's so beautiful! Everyone was very impressed by our choice in venue and kept telling us how beautiful it was. Lisa and her team are so AMAZING! Everyone was very helpful and super nice. I really feel that they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was special. Also, the bridal suite is goregous! We highly recommend them and a special thanks again to Lisa and her team!

We had our wedding at Smith Event Centers and it was the most amazing thing I could ask for! Lara, the wedding coordinator went above and beyond for us from day one. Not only was everything exactly to timeline, but my husband and I never felt one bit of stress or worry- we knew Lara had it under control. We initially chose this venue because of the scenery and many options for photographs and ceremony locations, but in the end, we got so much more out of it. I could not ask for a better venue to get married at! Thank you to everyone at Smith Event Centers for making our wedding stress-free and beautiful!

I had my wedding at the Life Event Center and it was the perfect location for my indoor wedding!! Perfect location in Maryville, and beautiful facilities! Lara Nuchols was amazing help on our day, without her the wedding really wouldn’t have came together as perfectly as it did! She was so helpful, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of and went above and beyond! Thank you so much to everyone at Smith’s!!

The Smithview staff was very helpful throughout the entire process. They stayed in contact over the entire year between when I booked the venue and our wedding day. Lisa is very friendly and easy to talk to. This is a great local venue that values its clients.

My new husband and I had the best experience ever at Smithview Pavilion. Lisa Gibson was so nice and easy to work with. I don't have enough good words for our coordinator, Jessica, at the property. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. I tried to arrange some things and she made it a point to let me know that she had everything taken care of. This place was everything we wanted and more.

Smithview was AMAZING. Everyone commented on how amazing the property was. They were so great to work with and the Florist on site did an amazing job. It was so much more than I expected. They had someone there the entire day to help us! It was perfect and I would recommend it to every bride!

We had our wedding here and it was affordable. They provided the tables, chairs, tablecloths, a budget for flowers, a full kitchen, (with ice), a bridal room and plenty of parking. Lisa, the contact, was so easy to work with and was involved in making me feel comfortable. There are several places on the property to get married, it is an outdoor facility but it rained the day of the wedding and they set it up under the pavillion. It is most definately worth the price and it was absolutely beautiful.

We had a DIY wedding, so the gorgeous views and structure of this venue really added a lot and meant that I didn't need to add too many extra decorations.\rI love that even with the Bronze Package (the shortest length of time offered) we still received chairs, tables, linens, lanterns to decorate with, floral centerpieces, and one person from the venue to help out on the day of the wedding.\rI was SO GLAD to have her (I think her name was Brandy?). As we were setting up that morning we realized I had not made enough decorations and we were running late...but I had extra materials and she offered to help so that I could get ready. She also helped out in the kitchen, and when we changed our mind about the setup of the chairs and tables she helped with that too.\rThis was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I am truly grateful to everyone at Smithview for making this experience as smooth as planning a wedding could possibly be.

When we found a church in Maryville to get married, we began our search for a venue that was reasonably priced, and allowed us \"free reign\" as to the caterer, DJ, etc. we wanted. So many places had long lists of restrictions! And then we found Smithview. This is no ordinary Pavilion - It's absolutely gorgeous! High ceilings, stone fireplace, full kitchen, extremely spacious, and sitting on a beautiful piece of land. The packages were extremely reasonable, and even had tables and chairs (and more) included! Great people to work with - they even helped set up equipment the day of!

This location is really beautiful and everything looks new. They keep very good care of it. The people were very helpful with anything I asked of them. One thing I think could be better is that they dont offer you a time to do a rehearsal. Also, they give you the choice to have the ceremony out my the creek but if you do that you have to rent extra chairs they are not provided with the package.
