With a range of indoor and outdoor event spaces available, Smoke Rise Village Inn can host the wedding celebration you've always dreamed of. We visited the venue for the first time 10 months prior to our wedding date. We were introduced to Kelly the catering/event manager. She showed us around and told us about all that they offer. She took us to the office and went over details with us and then offered us a full dinner to taste the food they serve - appetizer, entrees, drinks, and dessert for both of us. We fell in love with the \"rustic\" stone and wood decor, the amazing food, and of course their friendly, attentive restaurant staff. Kelly worked with our budget to come up with something that would work for everyone. She even brought in special alcohol requests for our German family. We were offered a tasting 2 months prior to our wedding to taste everything we picked out for our finalized menu and again Kelly made sure she was there to talk final details and anything else we may have needed. We had asked if we should hire a day of coordinator for set up and day of details but Kelly was on it, setting things up and even making us a customized photo screen on their monitor for the day and using details from our wedding website for the menu cards. We were given exclusive access to the venue the day of the wedding from 10a and Kelly was there with us for whatever we needed. Everything was perfect from top to bottom and our guests still can't stop talking about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Do not sleep on this venue- it is a diamond in the rough!

The Catering Manager, Kelly Herchick, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She coordinated with all of our vendors flawlessly. If I can give this venue more stars I would!! The service provided was exceptional! The food was delicious all the way around. I never heard of Smoke Rise Village Inn but I am so happy I found it on Zola. As soon as my husband and I stepped foot onto the property, we could picture ourselves saying \"I do\" in the courtyard. I truly cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Working with Kelly was a dream. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you want for your big day. She always makes herself available and answers any questions you may have. The food is amazing! We ate at the restaurant before booking and it sealed the deal for us. Their cocktail hour menu is delicious; our guests are still raving about it! The ballroom space is so spacious and we loved having the additional outdoor space in the back. My husband and I plan to return to Smoke Rise Village Inn every year for dinner to celebrate our anniversary.

Kelly paid attention to every single detail we spoke about and when it came to the day of, she blew us away with how beautiful the venue looked. She was a pleasure to work with, as was everyone else there. We have been receiving compliments daily about our wedding. The food was amazing, especially the options during cocktail hour. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and get married outside. The grounds of Smoke Rise are exceptionally kept and the wedding ceremony itself was truly beautiful. I could not recommend Smoke Rise enough!

We recently had an event at the Smoke Rise Inn and it couldnât have gone better! The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I had some decorations that I needed set up. Usually I would find a friend or family member to help me but based on the timing of the event, no one was available prior. Kelly, the catering manager, had assured me that her and the staff would get it all completed for us. I was a little nervous, just because there were a number of things I had planned to be set up, but WOW did they exceed expectations. Everything was perfect! It made me feel so relaxed during the event, which was truly such a great feeling. Kelly was so fantastic throughout the entire process. Prior to the event she walked me through all the options in detail and provided some great suggestions that really helped the event to come together! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking at any type of event - shower, baptism, birthday party, wedding, etc. It was stellar!!

We can't recommend Smoke Rise Village Inn enough! We were so glad we chose to have all parts of our event, from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception, there. From beginning to end, Kelly and Randy made planning our wedding a stress-free process. They were extremely communicative, prompt, and flexible. They went above and beyond, helping us plan a special toast at the end of the night and finding creative ideas for the ceremony set up. Our guests raved about the food and entire experience! Especially the chicken and waffles! Kelly and the staff were attentive to our needs day-of, putting aside a special plate of appetizers for my husband and I. It's little touches like that that make all the different. We also love how the venue is unique â it's rustic, classic, and cozy while still being classy and stunning. Our wedding was truly a magical day and we have everyone at the Smoke Rise Village Inn to thank for that.

We had our wedding reception at Smoke Rise Village Inn and it was amazing!! First of all, our guests LOVED the food! Both the food at the cocktail hour and at the reception were amazing! We also loved the space, it was huge but also very intimate! We loved the ballroom and the courtyard. It was a beautiful night! The staff at the Inn were very professional. You don't need to worry about anything and they will take care of it for you! We will definitely go back to Smoke Rise for dinner!

We also loved the space, it was huge but also very intimate! We loved the ballroom and the courtyard. It was a beautiful night! The staff at the Inn were very professional. e cannot recommend the Smoke Rise Village Inn enough! After our first visit, we walked out in complete agreement that we liked the space, the vibe, and the manager. We did not have one bad thing to say! Although I am a relaxed person, I am very critical of customer service and have fairly high standards. From the start, Randy was extremely professional, organized, responsive, and friendly. He accommodated every request we had and made wedding planning seem almost easy. We did not have a hired wedding planner, just our vision and schedule. Randy ensured that every detail was taken care of--where we walked in, the ceremony set-up, and coordinating with our vendors. Our wedding day went perfectly. Any issues, nothing caused by Smoke Rise, were handled before we even knew anything happened. We had a personal attendant who helped make sure we ate and had the drinks we wanted. All our guests raved about the venue itself, the food (both quantity and quality), and the service. We honestly were blown away by how seamless and extraordinary everything was, and we are so grateful. We had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our guests loved the food, the venue space, and the staff! Jordana was amazing to help us organize our event to everything was seamless the day of! The newly renovated floors made our pictures that much better! We had our wedding in January so this is a perfect venue year round!

My wife and I were married at Smoke Rise Village Inn on 12.31.2018. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Three things stood out from the feedback our guests provided: 1) What a unique venue 2) What amazing food 3) The service was terrific. My wife desired a venue most guests wouldn't be familiar with and would be conducive to a smaller wedding (we had 100 guests and 200 is approximate capacity). I was familiar with Smoke Rise so I brought her to see the inn and it was love at first sight. It is intimate (one wedding at a time), definitely unique (it's an old converted dairy farm), and has lots of charm. In addition to the fine food and ambiance, one of its greatest attributes is the banquet manager, Kim Caputo. After five minutes of talking to her, it becomes crystal clear that she loves what she does and will treat your special day as if it's her own. From start to finish, Kim was there helping us map out the perfect party, offering useful suggestions, and always answering our questions promptly and accurately. She's a real pro and an amazing asset to the inn. I would strongly encourage anyone to look at Smoke Rise when deciding where to host their event. Our experience was first rate from start to finish and my wife and I cannot be happier. When you put so much time, money, and effort to throw the best party you can, the best reward, in my opinion, is the feedback from your guests. We have received nothing short of rave reviews and a number of our guests said it was the best wedding reception they've ever attended. We wouldn't haven't gotten such amazing feedback if Smoke Rise didn't deliver and they most certainly did. We can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary. Bravo!!!

If you are looking for a romantic, charming place to be married, then this is it. From start to finish, Kim and her team did a phenomenal job. I cannot speak more highly of her. I would highly recommend the Smoke Rise Village Inn! My husband and I had our ceremony and reception there a week ago and had a wonderful experience. Kim, Gloria, and all of the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Kim and Gloria thought of every detail and really personalized our wedding to who we are as a couple. I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of the day because I had complete trust and faith in the staff and their services. The food was absolutely amazing! We received many compliments about the variety and quality. We plan to come back to Smoke Rise to celebrate future milestones as a married couple because it is such a special place to us. The grounds and building are well-kept and beautiful!

We had our wedding at Smoke Rise last Saturday and I can not rave enough about how absolutely wonderful Randy, Kim and the rest of the staff were from start to finish. They were beyond attentive but never overbearing. The food was amazing, the wait staff was professional and the entire planning process went smoothly. Our pictures that we took around the courtyard are so beautiful. Randy patiently listened to all our ideas and turned them into reality. I would definitely recommend SRVI to anyone who is getting married!

Our daughters wedding was held in August, 2016 at the Smoke Rise Inn . The first time we met with Kim we were impressed with her style and knowledge. The food and timing of the entire party was perfect. The look on our daughters face all night said it all. I have been employed as a wedding Maitre'd in many facilities over the past twenty five years and would recommend this venue to everyone. Thanks again to the entire staff for a night we will never forget.

We cant praise this place enough. Every single guest at our wedding had nothing but compliments about our choice of venue. The food was amazing especially the huge cocktail hour ( Sweet potato puffs to die for). The service was also wonderful and professional. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Smoke Rise Village Inn in October of 2014. My husband and I were looking for a unique wedding venue that didnât have that âwedding factoryâ feel, and somewhere that we could be the only event on site. Smoke Rise was all that and more. What we loved so much about Smoke Rise was the comfortable, warm feeling throughout the venue and the ballroom. We really loved that we had the entire venue and grounds to ourselves which made us feel like it was truly our day. From the first time we toured the grounds, all the way through our food tasting, the last few days of scrambling around for the big day, to the very last moments of our reception, we always felt welcome, comfortable, and at ease with each step of the way. The Inn manager Randy was always very friendly and easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We never received ânoâ for an answer, and he was always helpful with brainstorming and making sure our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. The day of our wedding, all of the staff was so friendly and accommodating to us and all of our guests. Not to mention the food and drinks were fantastic! We went back for our 1 month wedding anniversary for dinner and were welcomed and treated just the same as on our wedding day by the staff. 5 stars from start to finish!

When I found the inn online, I knew I had to see it and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out; it was truly perfect. Throughout the whole process he was available to help answer questions and guide us through with his expertise. Not only was it a smooth process and beautiful location, but the food was amazing and all of our guests keep telling us how much they enjoyed both cocktail hour and the main dinners. Another great perk is that you can celebrate your anniversaries at the Inn since itâs a restaurant as well. I 100% recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking for great food, a beautiful location and top notch treatment. I wish I could do it all over again!

The Smoke Rise Village Inn is a beautiful setting for a wedding. If you are looking for a classy, slightly rustic, different type of venue this is your place. They just update the Inn making it even more lovely and more up to date. The only downside we found was that the catering manager and staff are not as experienced in running big weddings. Not all of our requests/needs were fulfilled which was disappointing and which the bigger more well known venues do automatically. However-our wedding day was just perfect-the venue is beautiful and the food is fantastic. Everyone had a fabulous time there.

My daughter and son-in-law were married on the saturday of Hurricane Irene. While other vendors were canceling weddings in the north Jersey area, Smokerise helped us celebrate this special day with elegance and panache. Randy and Laura, the banquet managers, worked with us to make the most of the time, before the storm hit. They started serving hors de ovres when our guests started arriving and opened the bar early, at no extra charge. The food at the Inn is well known for consistency and quality. This wedding was no exception. Even the wedge salad was fresh and crisp. They worked with us to make every detail of the historic dairy farm come alive. They named the signature drink, The Jersey Hurricane. Delicious. A day that we had all looked so forward to, could have been a complete disaster, due to the weather. With the professionalism, displayed by the employees of Smokerise, the hurricane only added to the celebration. We will remember that day with only wonderful memories. Thank you Randy, Laura, and your staff.

Kelly Herchick (Director of Catering) Here at Smoke Rise I handle the booking, planning, execution, day of coordination - so basically it's me from start to finish - for private events and weddings. Fun fact - I also had my wedding here at Smoke Rise (pre employment so no, I didnt give myself a discount :)) but clearly, it's a place that I find special. I have opened and managed several restaurants around NJ prior to dedicating myself to events and weddings 6 years ago. Every couple has a different vision of their perfect day so to me - customizing and tailoring each wedding is important. I'm best known for going above and beyond
