My husband grew up in Bayville, so it was on our radar when we were searching for the right venue for us. The view is unbeatable both inside and outside of the building. They have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the LI Sound, a little private beach, and a gorgeous patio space for the ceremony. It was an absolutely gorgeous venue and everytime we had a meeting it was better than I remembered. Brittney and Diego made everything so easy for us and they were so sweet! I definitely needed a lot of help from them since I didn’t have a florist, and they did a fantastic job setting out the decor I brought. My Bridal Attendant was Ada and my Maitr D was Megan. They were so fantastic. We had custom signature drinks and they were delicious! I’m used to a lot of wedding venues watering down drinks, but Soundview definitely did not! Also the food was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! Cocktail hour and reception food were so yummy! And we have Taco Bell as our exit station. You absolutely cannot go wrong choosing this venue, and they were easily one of the least expensive venues we toured, and you get so much for the value!

Originally, my husband and I didn’t want an outdoor ceremony (we didn’t want weather to be a factor in our plans). Once we saw the ceremony site at Soundview, that changed instantly - and we’re so glad it did! Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful, with the natural sound of soft waves and a gorgeous view of the sun setting over the Sound. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made my husband and me feel so special on our big day. The food was also amazing. I’m still craving more of that filet mignon! The bartenders absolutely nailed our signature drinks. Planning everything was a breeze, as Brittany was always just an email away and responded in a timely manner. Diego was a rockstar maître d. Ada was the best bridal attendant I could’ve asked for! Thanks to them and the rest of the incredible staff, our wedding day was an absolute dream!

We had such an amazing time at Soundview for our wedding! We got married on September 30th, 2023 and our wedding size was 175 people. Brittany, Diego, Taryn, and the rest of the Soundview team made everything so easy for us. They were all so friendly and made us feel really special by going above and beyond for us.The food was incredible! Soundview is a hidden gem that more people need to be talking about! I knew I wanted a waterfront venue and it’s hard to come by ones that allow 100 person minimums. I was afraid I’d have to settle but the second we stepped foot into Soundview we knew we had found the one. The waterfront views are absolutely stunning and the ceremony is clean, elegant and spacious. During the planning process they were organized and so responsive to any questions no matter how big or small. They have one wedding at a time which means you can drop decor off early which made everything easier and less stressful. The space can hold more people but with only 100 it didn’t feel small or empty it was absolutely perfect. They have quality and consistent staff so I was working with the same individuals the entire process and knew who I’d be spending my wedding day with as well which was a huge relief and is hard to find in this industry. I think it’s a testament to how wonderful this place is. On the day of the wedding every single person was so amazing all day! Our guests are saying the views were to die for, the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding and that all the staff was just so kind and accommodating to them! “Tastefully elegant” was used to describe the venue by multiple people and we couldn’t agree more. I sent them a quick description of how I wanted the space decorated but gave them creative freedom because they’re so talented and trustworthy. I walked into the space the day of my wedding completely blown away by how beautiful it looked; it was better than I ever would have imagined myself. The banquet manager, Maitre’d, bridal attendant, wait staff and bar tenders were all so attentive not only to us but also to our guests. If I asked for anything it had already been thought of and taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better or more perfect experience and truly hope to be invited here as guests of a wedding one day so we can experience it all again! I could go on and on about how amazing our day was but just know booking Soundview means you are in the best of hands!!

Soundview is in incredible gem in Long Island. I did extensive research on wedding venues throughout the tristate and I’m so glad my husband and I found Soundview. It was perfect for an intimate wedding (90 people). The team at Soundview really are the best! Diego, Brittany, Miné and Lisa made me and my husband feel so calm every day leading up to and on our wedding day. They were so communicative and were able to answer all our questions and was flexible with adjusting anything to our needs. The food was never ending and great too! I’ve had multiple compliments from my guests about the amount of delicious food at cocktail hour and they thoroughly enjoyed the after dinner McDonald’s station that soundview provided. The view is also amazing. We had the most perfect clear skies and amazing sunset and having the ability to go out onto the beach from the venue for sunset photos is truly once in a lifetime photo opportunity. My husband and I are so happy we chose Soundview and we can’t wait to attend a wedding there one day as a guest just so we have another chance to go back. Don’t hesitant to book Soundview! You really won’t regret it :)

Soundview Caterers is THE BEST!From the moment we talked to Brittany we knew we were in good hands. The venue is gorgeous, and the staff goes MILES above beyond to ensure everything is truly special. Brittany was there to answer every question we had leading up to the big day. We live out of state and Brittany accommodated us when we were visiting to try the food and visit the venue. She helped out so much the day off, and even helped us get our table seating chart written, because we had an oops lol. That’s unheard of. Opened the venue early to get hair and makeup done. She crushed it! Then, there’s Diego…there are no words to describe the amount of heart he poured into our wedding. He was EVERYWHERE! Attentive to every need, even the guests complimented how outstanding he was. The consummate professional. You can catch him doing landscaping, touch ups, getting the bird droppings off the window, and then get dolled up and be the best maitre de you could ever ask for. We love you man! Donna, who bartended might as well be part of our family at this point. She was the best, not to mention her landscaping abilities to boot, the venue is pristine and beautiful. Taylor, our attendant was phenomenal. So kind, and even made sure to pull our photographer out for our “second sunset”. She was there every step of the way. Sandy feet and all. It’s hard to find people that care so much about what they do. The food was abundant, and so amazing. One of our friends ate so much with the insane cocktail hour spread, because he wasn’t aware that a three course dinner was upstairs. Highest compliments to Nick the head chef and his team. He was so helpful to us make the choices to have a well rounded, most amazing food experience for us and all our friends and family. We also decided to book the rehearsal dinner at Soundview and we were not disappointed! Also the Vendors that Soundview provided were fantastic!My husband works in the wedding industry and has seen and played about 100 venues, and this one just far exceeds the special factor. Wedding September 4, 2022Where do I begin? When we first met with the owner Michael at Soundview we knew right away we had to have our wedding here. Everyone at Soundview welcomes you in like you are family, which is exactly the feel we wanted and not to mention the most beautiful ballroom and huge windows looking out to the sound. We soon met Diego and Brittany, who were so accommodating and answered any questions we had for the day. My bridal attendant, Taryn. Just wow. She carried my extremely heavy train for me and never left my side the entire night. She recommended bustling my dress since I couldn’t really dance while holding it. Diego grabbed pins and was able to give my dress a bustle. What man can bustle a wedding dress in less than 5 minutes? I was in awe and forever thankful for this! Diego even stood next to our photographer and took pictures of us throughout the night and recorded our first dance without us even noticing or asking and shared them with us the following day❤️Taryn came up to me at the end of the night and teared up reading one of the poems my husband had wrote for me that was framed at the venue and said how much she loved us as a couple. It was such a sweet moment and just shows how much they truly care about your special night and genuinely are good, down to earth people. The whole night was so smooth and Brittany was amazing in making sure we stayed on time and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious and I am still getting compliments! We can’t thank everyone at Soundview enough and we love you all! Thank you Michael, Brittany, Diego, Taryn, caterers, and everyone else behind the scenes. We hope to have any and all events going forward at Soundview and we can’t wait to visit again.

I could not say enough amazing things about Soundview! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Everything was perfect from start to finish.My husband and I got married at Soundview in September 2022 and our experience was incredible. Since our first visit, we fell in love with the venue and just knew we had to get married here. Two months later, and we still have guests tell us how that was the best wedding they've ever been to.The food and service we received were exceptional. Every area of this venue is beautiful - from their outdoor ceremony space over looking the LI sound, to the beautiful light and airy ballroom.Brittany, Diego and Chris were so great to deal with. They were professional, personable, caring and attentive. They were such a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. They all made sure our wedding day was special, and I can say that it truly was perfect and exactly how we envisioned it. Thank you Soundview for an unforgettable experience!! Everything was perfect from start to finish.My husband and I got married at Soundview in September 2022 and our experience was incredible. Since our first visit, we fell in love with the venue and just knew we had to get married here. Two months later, and we still have guests tell us how that was the best wedding they've ever been to.The food and service we received were exceptional. Every area of this venue is beautiful - from their outdoor ceremony space over looking the LI sound, to the beautiful light and airy ballroom.Brittany, Diego and Chris were so great to deal with. They were professional, personable, caring and attentive. They were such a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. They all made sure our wedding day was special, and I can say that it truly was perfect and exactly how we envisioned it. Thank you Soundview for an unforgettable experience!! Our wedding day was perfect thanks to the Soundview Team ! If you are looking for an affordable one wedding a day venue on the water that treats its clients like family this is the place for you ! From the time we booked to the day of Brittney ,the banquet manager, was in constant contact with me answering emails and any questions I had within hours of sending. We also met with Diego who is the Maitre D a few times before the wedding and he is AMAZING does it all !! He was so on the ball all night long and made sure everything ran smoothly. I even had trouble with my bustle and he pulled out a needle and thread and sewed it in place on my dress ! Wedding day we were allowed to arrive to the venue whenever we wanted which was great because we were not rushed for pictures ! The Ceremony space is beautiful overlooking the sound and hearing the waves crash as we got married is something ill never forget. Ballroom is gorgeous ( simple elegant is what I like to use to describe it) and the food was delicious, we got many compliments about cocktail hour and the taco bell exit station they set up was a huge hit !!

Soundview went above and beyond to give my wife and I the wedding of our dreams. Picking a venue can be overwhelming, but once we walked into Soundview, we knew it was going to be the venue we picked! Even on a rainy day in May, the venue was stunning and the views of the water were remarkable. From the beginning, Brittany was so helpful, accommodating , and always available for questions. The showcases they had at the venue were helpful and comforting with planning the wedding. The recommended vendors were great! Brittany and Diego really made us feel confident that the wedding would go smoothly and be everything we wanted it to be in the weeks leading up. The day of our wedding was truly remarkable. The weather was perfect which truly brought out the beauty of Soundview. The views of the LI Sound were incredible and the venue it self was set-up so beautifully. The cocktail hour was a big hit and many people complimented how good the food was and how much there was. The staff went above and beyond and truly made it a great experience for all of our guests. Each of the workers for each table were all incredible. The main courses were also delicious and again received so many compliments. The dance floor is a perfect size and was the place to be! Well what can i say about Soundview?! Absolutely amazing!!! We felt like a prince and princess for the day!! They literally did go above and beyond and did all they could to make our day as fun and stress free as possible. we got to spend the day at the venue getting our hair and makeup done and i was the only bride there. The location is absolutely breathtaking and the ballroom is gorgeous! the staff? omg the staff was truly! incredible. Michael, Diego, Tauryn and Chris are amazing at what they do and truly were by our side every step of the way! they are a well oiled machine! i have a pretty crazy family dont we all and they were very helpful and understanding! also i left my louis vutton bag at the wedding hall after the wedding and diego went back to the venue to ensure i get it back! thanks so much diego! if you want to have truly the best day of your life have your wedding at soundview caterers!

Thank you Soundview for the most perfect wedding day! My husband and I got married at the Soundview this past June and we couldn't be more pleased, and every single one of our guests felt the same, we had such an amazing time! I have so many wonderful things to say, I'm not even sure where to begin, but it would have to be with the Soundview team, who are absolutely incredible. Brittany is on it! She makes sure you have every little detail covered (and even reminds you to place your order for your wedding cake when you've completely forgotten to do so yourself.) Diego is beyond helpful, so organized, and the most kind person I've ever worked with. He doesn't miss a beat either! He makes you feel like family. Chris was an added bonus, he pays attention to detail, keeps everyone moving in the right direction and makes sure everyone is looking sharp! And lastly, Taylor, my bridal attendant, was so patient and calm, exactly what a bride needs on her wedding day. Having this crew allowed my husband and I to have an absolute blast at our wedding. We had ourselves the wedding of our dreams. We didn't have to worry about a thing and the whole day went off without a hitch. Our guests RAVED about the food at cocktail hour. And all of the Soundviews suggested vendors were fantastic, especially our photographer Matthew Adams and our DJ Rafael from Ultimate Sounds. Choosing Soundview was one of the best decisions we made. We got married on July 4, 2022 and it was absolutely PERFECT. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the Soundview team. Soundview itself is stunning. The ceremony area is outside and adjacent to the ocean, but not on the water, so you don’t have to deal with the sand. Our wedding photos were so beautiful with the water in the background. The banquet hall is also stunning. Wood floors with light colored walls and very light, classy gold accents. There are floor to ceiling windows so guests can see the sunset during the party. We got married on the 4th, so everyone could watch fireworks from the different towns across the bay. It made the night even more awesome and magical. The food is also really good and they give you SO many options. People told me they were so full by the end of the night, they couldn’t eat any of the late night snack/favors we provided. The crab cakes were a huge hit with our guests and so were the cookie dipped in chocolate/ice cream combos (and wedding cake) for dessert. Their package includes an open bar (and your choice of signature drinks) which was a huge plus. The staff is AMAZING. I was a bit of a neurotic planner and Brittany was extremely responsive to my questions and requests. The day of the wedding, we felt like royalty. They made everything go smoothly and took care of our (and our guests’) every need. They are GREAT with allergies (the groom is severely allergic to peanuts). They provide you a bridal attendant and she was so sweet and helpful, always holding dress and getting me water (and champagne!). Overall you can’t go wrong with this venue. People told me it was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to!

We met with the owner, Michael who was very real with us and who was very accommodating. The place is drop dead gorgeous, the outside ceremony space is right on the water and you can hear the waves which is so relaxing. The inside/outdoor cocktail hour space has more delicious food than you can ever imagine! The reception room is rustic/glam with gorgeous wood floors and beautiful glass chandeliers. Brittany, Diego, Chris, Taryn run the show and do a phenomenal job making sure everything runs smoothly and on schedule. You will have Not a single thing to worry about at this venue. They take care of everything for you. They set everything up and ensure you are happy with it. Throughout the entire process they are accommodating and very responsive. They only do one wedding a day which is something we wanted. Everyone has been raving about how delicious all the food was and how there were so many different options to pick from! RUN DONT WALK to book your wedding at Soundview!!! It was the best decision we made!

We loved Soundview! After attending a wedding here a few years ago, we knew this was the place for us. Brittany is an angel who answered all my questions and emails promptly, Diego was also an angel who got shiz done! Chris was a wonderful surprise because we didn't know that he was going to be part of the wedding-gang, and boy was he on it. He was on us making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout - he even held onto our pup Captain before the ceremony!! Our bridal attendant killed it throughout the whole night!! Chef Nick and his crew are INCREDIBLE - all anyone could talk about was the food - our guests thought the cocktail hour was the main course because of how much there was AND how good it was; they were surprised when they saw the menus at their tables!There were a few things here and there that I would change or have planned better (my fault, not theirs), I wish that treats from our exit station were saved for myself and my husband. We should have been a bit more vocal about not putting containers with water in our boxes at pack-up (one box had a container with flowers spill and ruin some papers, but nothing important thankfully). I did also get some FOMO from seeing the venue post photos from other weddings and not mine, but maybe I should have said I'd love for them to also take pictures? Despite that, this place is fabulous & will do all that they can to make you feel good during your event which is what matters.The Soundview fam made us feel wonderful and don't let one spoiled apple in the bunch ruin this day or decision.

Diego was there to pace the bridesmaids down the aisle, the bridal attendant was right there to straighten our daughter's train, every staff member was courteous. The day flowed seamlessly, so we didn't have to think about anything. Every guest raved about what a fabulous wedding this was. The food at the cocktail hour was so plentiful, people from out of state thought this was the main meal. Brittany and Diego were always available for questions and were prompt in responding. There are golf carts provided to transport any guest that has difficulty walking, down to the ceremony at the water. There is one bathroom on the lower floor, but the few guests that had some difficulty maneuvering, were encouraged to use the bridal suite. It was the most incredible, memorable day for our families! thank you!

My fiance found the venue and the moment we saw it we knew it would be perfect! Diego and Brittany were incredible and constantly stayed in contact throughout the wedding process! The week leading up to the wedding they were phenomenal and so was Michael, very willing to help and accommodate us with anything! Our wedding day was magical and I was honestly in awe of everything Soundview and their team did for us. A one-wedding venue, the view from the reception hall to the water is breathtaking! The room is, too.. Large, elegant, well-appointed. In the interim, the owner was very unpleasant and intransigent to deal with, but I am glad we persisted. The vow renewal by the water and reception last month was spectacular! Diego, the maitre d', and Brittany, the venue point person, were the best -- accessible, professional, creative, and endlessly patient and attentive. You couldn't have a more beautiful setting for the ceremony, with sunset in the background! The food in both the cocktail hour (amazing variety!!) and the dinner was delicious and provoked many compliments from the guests, the liquor was top-shelf and they worked with our special requests for sangria, etc. Every single thing went off flawlessly; the bride and groom (AND her parents) were relaxed and able to enjoy every moment knowing the evening was in very capable and caring hands. The owner aside, Soundview Caterers, and its staff, really know their stuff! I never thought I would say this, but it was worth every penny!

The location/view is stunning, the space is maintained so perfectly, the food is phenomenal, and the staff is so incredibly accommodating. They really screwed us over, we put down something like 6 or 7 thousand towards our wedding 5-22-2020 They said that since we had to reschedule for 2021 they said we could only have 50% of what we put down, so we would only got a 50% credit of $3500. It saddens me to have to post a negative review because I had such high hopes for my would have been wedding venue, Soundview Caterers in Bayville NY. We booked in late November 2019, paid our first deposit of $3K 11/20/19 and our second deposit of $5K 2/1/2. Once the pandemic began, the owner, Michael, kept pushing us to postpone even after we explained my now husband is active duty military and is scheduled to deploy without a clear return date. Postponing was not an option for us as being a military couple we were in a different boat than his other brides. Michael then kept assuring us (getting my hopes up) our wedding could happen with 50% of fire code up until the month before our wedding 8/1/20. When it was clear this wouldn’t be allowed per NYS Michael offered to “pitch us a tent in his parking lot” or “pay the fine”, (wild!) we declined. We then requested a refund as no services had been rendered and he was unable to fulfill our contract of 150 guests. Michael the owner then became hostile and rude on the phone telling me had to sell his boat, basically yelling at me..driving me to tears. Michael refused to give us a full refund despite our circumstances with my husbands upcoming deployment. My reality of having a short “newly wed” period before my husband is to be sent overseas was worsened by this man souring what is supposed to be the best day of my life by being so heartless, mean and unreasonable. Michael eventually offered us $4k of the $8k deposit back but this was unacceptable to my father and fiancé at this point after Michaels demeanor and disrespect. We are unfortunately forced to take this to the law. Michael even emailed me the day after my wedding asking for full payment, truly upsetting! I write this to warn future brides about this Venue owner as they search for a space for their perfect day.

We knew almost instantly that we wanted to have our wedding and reception at Soundview. Walking inside is gorgeous, plus it’s a waterfront venue that only hosts one event at a time. These are extremely rare qualities, but were all high priorities for my husband and I while planning. Soundview Caterers literally blew all of the other venues we visited out of the water. Soundview caterers to whatever you want for the day of your wedding. We booked with them over two years in advance and they were one of the BEST decisions we made! They made the entire process easy, smooth, and stress free. I had no concerns leading up to and on the day of our wedding because I knew they would take care of everything, and they absolutely did exactly that. They say something always goes wrong at your wedding, but literally nothing did. Soundview took care of every single detail and made sure we were happy the whole day. Diane, Diego, Lia, and Micheal were all amazing to work with and made sure our day was everything we ever wanted. They truly treated us like family and their attention to detail made everything even more beautiful than I had imagined. They surpassed my expectations and created the intimate atmosphere that I was invisoning for our special day. We got married on Superbowl Sunday and my father is a huge Chiefs fan and they created a beautiful watermelon sculpture for the Chiefs especially for him, which was an incredibly sweet, touching, and such a cool surprise for all of us! Who does that?!...family...and that’s exactly how you will feel and will be treated the entire time. The food is incredible and all of our guests were raving about it both during cocktail hour and at the reception. We had several guests with very strict dietary needs and they were able to accomodate all of them without any issues or complaints. While we were a little bummed to not get beautiful Soundview sunset pictures due to it being cloudy they told us we are more than welcome to come back to get them at another time. Everyone went above and beyond to create the wedding day of our dreams which we will cherish forever! We cannot recommend the entire team at Soundview enough! Book your wedding there you will not regret it!

I cannot recommend the Soundview enough! This is an absolutely gorgeous venue, right on the water in Bayville, NY. It consists of two floors: the first floor has a lobby, the bridal suite and adjacent restroom, and the main reception area. The reception area is absolutely beautiful—it can accommodate up to 200 guests, and they can also put up an unobtrusive screen to cut off part of the room if your wedding party is on the smaller side (they did this for me--I had 100 guests and it didn’t feel cramped or too big, it was just right). There is a really beautiful 1920’s-esque bar, and an amazing view of the ocean.The lower floor contains the bathrooms and another dining area, which is where cocktail hour is hosted. This too contains a large, beautiful bar, an outside patio where guests can go, and a baby grand piano! We hired a pianist for an hour, and guests loved it. Lastly, there’s a walkway down to the ocean.One of the best features of the Soundview is that this whole area is yours for the day. They only book one wedding per day, so your guests can have the run of the place and go wherever they want. It’s also incredibly practical: you have a drop-off appointment where you give them everything you want put out for your wedding and they put it all together for you, but you or a family member can also go there the day-of, if you forget anything at your formal drop-off appointment. I found this to be a huge stress-reliever. Just knowing that I could go there if I needed to and make changes was a big weight off my shoulders.The food is superb. And the food you get for cocktail hour is ridiculously good—there’s SO much and each dish is better than the last. When we arrived they took us into the bridal suite, so that we could relax for a half hour and have time to regroup, and they brought us a sampler of everything people were eating at cocktail hour. I could’ve cried in joy. We didn’t know they would do that and it was AMAZING! And that brings me to one of the best features of the Soundview, and that is the people who work there. Michael, the owner, works hard to accommodate you as a client. The amazing food, I hear, can be attributed to him being a chef. Diane is the main contact after you sign your contract and she was amazing to work with. Best of all, she gives great advice if, like me, you were unsure of basically everything. Diego, the maître’d, was so attentive, polite, and genuinely invested in making sure the night went well. You also get a bridal attendant, and mine was absolutely lovely. She was always on hand to help with anything, be it your veil coming undone, bustling your dress, or finding your shoes. At the end of the night one of the valet drivers came up to me to thank me for tipping them, which I thought was so sweet. Truly everyone there is just so genuinely kind and good people. The best part was, after we got to our hotel room and were looking through our things, we saw that they had written a sweet message for us on our cake box, AND took a picture of all of the staff with our polaroid, put it into our guestbook, and wrote a beautiful message on behalf of all of the staff at Soundview. I was so surprised and touched! Honestly, I know I’m repeating myself here, but I can’t recommend this venue enough. I would give them 100 out of 5 stars if I could! They made this whole experience as stress-free as possible, and it was a beautiful and memorable night. Thank you so much, everyone at Soundview!

We had our daughter’s wedding reception at Soundview on 9/1/19. From the ceremony space to the ballroom, the venue is beautiful, but what really makes Soundview so outstanding is its personnel. I cannot say enough about the organization, execution, and attentiveness of the Soundview staff that evening. Our Maître d’, Diego, and his assistant, Diane, were on top of everything throughout the night. Andrea, the bridal attendant, was omnipresent, but unobtrusive. That is, she was always there, but you didn’t realize she was there until she was filling a need you didn’t even know you had. Donna was amazing behind the bar, anticipating drinks from guests as they approached. Everyone at Soundview was the same way – you didn’t realize they were there until they were doing something to enhance your experience! The cocktail hour had an incredible amount of delicious food choices, followed later by perfectly cooked entrees. It was a wonderful evening, in part because of Soundview’s preferred vendors, of which we used and highly recommend – Pedestal Florist, Matthew Adam Photography, and the band, Crossing Midnight Entertainment. All were instrumental in our daughter’s phenomenal wedding day! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, so if you are planning an event on Long Island in the future, there is no need to look elsewhere, choose Soundview!

It was a wonderful evening, in part because of Soundview’s preferred vendors, of which we used and highly recommend – Pedestal Florist, Matthew Adam Photography, and the band, Crossing Midnight Entertainment. All were instrumental in our daughter’s phenomenal wedding day! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, so if you are planning an event on Long Island in the future, there is no need to look elsewhere, choose Soundview!

My husband and I were married at Soundview on July 4th 2019. From the very first moment we stepped foot into Soundview when we first got engaged, to the very last second of our wedding, Michael, Diane, Diego, Andrea and the entire Soundview staff, went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The food, the atmosphere, the organization, every little detail of our day was impeccable. The food more than surpassed our expectations. Chef Nick did an amazing job. We have had so many compliments about the cocktail hour and the multiple courses served at our reception. The food was something you would get at a fancy restaurant! Diego was our Maître D for the evening. He did all that he could to keep our guests happy and made sure that our day went smoothly. (We love you Diego!!) Andrea was my bridal attendant. She was by my side all day and night helping me with my dress and my flowers and making sure I had everything that I needed. And of course, our banquet manager Diane! She is a truly an amazing woman and now our friend. My dad has not been well this past year and every time we communicated, Diane would always ask about him. She knew I was worried about his health on the day of the wedding, and she made sure that he was looked after and taken care of on that day, which truly put my mind at ease. What separates Soundview the most from every other wedding venue, is that they treat you like family. I truly believe that Michael cares about the couples that come into his beautiful place and wants them to have a picture perfect, memorable day like ours. My husband and I can’t thank you all enough. We love you, and we will be back to visit for our anniversary!

Incredible and beautiful one wedding a day venue. The staff is incredible. They took care of everything, from making sure the bar had my preferred wine, Reisling, to making sure I was able to sneak away for 10 minutes to do sunset photos with my husband. They really are there to accommodate any request! My husband is Israeli so we asked for a custom cocktail hour station, and I have heard only amazing things not only about that station, but the food in general. Also I kept mentioning my love of pretzels and almost went with that as an exit station but instead chose gelato since it's more summery. So imagine my surprise on the day of the wedding, one of the plates for just my husband and I was a plate of pretzels. They are thoughtful, they are kind, and they never made me feel like I was inundating them with questions! I would recommend this venue again and again. Thank you Diego, Diane, Andrea, and the rest of the amazing staff. PS- the ceremony space is just second to none.

How do I even begin to describe how wonderful Soundview Caterers are! My husband and I had our wedding reception there on November 23, 2018 and it was AMAZING! We were sold on the location when we saw the beautiful ballroom and stunning views. Everything is clean, newly updated, and the food was amazing! I come from an Italian family and food is very important. We were able to go to a bridal showcase and sample all of the cocktail hour food with our family. Anything we did not care for we were allowed to change on the menu for our big day and were not met with any resistance. We even substituted some items on the “Southern Comfort” station so we can include my husband’s favorite, chicken and waffles. The staff at Soundview Caterers are so wonderful! They are so attentive and accommodating and helped make our wedding something straight out of a fairytale. When we first booked Soundview as our venue my husband made a joke that his favorite food was chicken parm and he wanted to eat that on our wedding day. Diane took that mental note and when we received our dinner (a sample of everything on our menu) she handed him a separate plate of chicken parm. It was so fantastic! When the time had come to drop off our boxes of décor for the wedding. Ricky let us set up everything the way we wanted because they had no other weddings prior to ours that week. This was so amazing because as most brides do I had a vision of how I wanted everything to look and it relieved so much stress knowing I would like the final product because I was able to set it up. Most places will not let you do that. Our bridal attendant was fantastic She was always present asking if we wanted anything and always had drinks waiting for us. The rest of the wait staff and bar tenders were equal wonderful. They didn’t make our guest want for anything!Soundview Caterers was truly a wonderful experience. We were so happy with our Wedding and I can’t wait to go back in the future!

There aren’t enough amazing things to say about this venue and staff. From the moment I met with Diane I knew this was the place. I came here after having a terrible experience at crescent club and told Diane I would be bringing my son. When we arrived Diane and Diego had crayons, coloring books and played with him the entire time. The entire time leading up to wedding they were fantastic. The day of my wedding they made me feel so confident to have my outdoor ceremony even though weather was iffy. They made everything happen and went above and beyond. Ricky even added extra to the room to make it look perfect. The staff was great and everyone keeps raving about the food. I truly wish we could do it all over again!

Just as these others review show, Soundview Caterers is an amazing venue with an impeccable staff supporting it. Our wedding day, and the planning stages leading up to it were incredible!Michael is a very hands on owner and put my husband and me at ease upon touring the venue. Diane answered every one of our questions throughout the process and was so helpful and informed! Ricky and Diego were incredible and really shined at the night of our wedding. The week leading up to the wedding (which is definitely crunch time!) we knew we were in good hands when Ricky said he tracks the weather and makes sure everything goes beautifully. My bridal attendant, Andrea was also so helpful and really removed any stress of the evening by going above and beyond. Our guests were so impressed with the staff and remarked how delicious the food was, and the ones who ordered the filet mignon said it came cooked as they ordered. We used Ultimate Sound DJs (one of the recommended vendors) and the music choices and excitement of the night did not stop! Every step was carefully thought out and it showed that night. Michael only recommends the best people for the job and we had that for our wedding. We only hope to attend another wedding ourselves there to experience the night again!

Soundview was the first and only venue we visited and we made our decision to sign our contract within 24 hours. My husband and I couldn't have known at that time how great our decision would be, but during our wedding, we were absolutely blown away. Well - I started to, because Ricky and my MC pivoted and came up with a new plan within seconds! The food was AMAZING. People are STILL talking about it. They couldn't believe there was more food after the cocktail hour! Soundview physically speaks for itself, the location and beauty of the venue is easy to see. It's all the behind the scenes you don't know you're getting until you're living it. I know I am forgetting things, but there is NOTHING I could have changed, it was EXACTLY how my now husband and I envisioned it. The owner and staff treat you like family, and the entire venue is breathtaking. The ceremony location is gorgeous with beautiful views and the ballroom is just simply stunning. From the chandeliers, to the floor to ceiling windows, this venue is pure elegance! Our day ran perfectly smooth due to the amazing staff! Ricky, our Maitre-D, made sure everything went according to schedule so that we made it outside for sunset pictures. He was absolutely phenomenal. Our guests can not stop talking about the beautiful venue, delicious food, and great service they all experienced!We can not thank Soundview enough for our perfect day, it was truly incredible!! We are so grateful and will cherish the memories forever!

We got married at Soundview on 7/20/18 and can not stop raving about how perfect our day was! We knew from the moment we walked into Soundview that it was the venue for us. Soundview is the best! We would give them 100 stars if we could. From the moment we first met with them, they made us feel like family. They were extremely easy to work with and always very responsive. We felt like soundview was our personal house the day of the wedding. Throughout the whole process we truly loved every moment and time we had to spend at soundview. What can I possibly write about Soundview Caterers that hasn't already been captured by the many excellent reviews? Let me start by painting the picture - my husband and I are not spring-chickens. We spent 9 yrs dating before making our commitment as husband and wife. So we knew the venue, service and support had to perfectly match our needs in order for us to make the selection. Soundview Caterers did just that. From the moment we walked in - and initially met with Michael - we knew we found the perfect venue for our wedding. Michael was THE most accommodating owner / host I'd ever come across. He really took the time to get to know us - and understand our needs... which included blending a \"modern-day family\" and accommodating out-of-town guests, family and friends. We booked immediately after our initial meeting with him. After that, Michael, Diane and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was in order for our date. Every vendor we used for our wedding was recommended by Soundview - and all went off without a hitch. Flowers were perfect, cake was excellent, photographer was charming and the limos were a riot! Our wedding date fell on Mother's Day, which was ALL the more special. While planning the wedding, I learned I was expecting our first child together. As such, I wanted to pull-off a special baby gender reveal at the wedding. Diego, our Maitre'D went above and beyond to help make this happen - and everything went perfectly. I can't say enough about the service Soundview provided. My husband and I are ever-grateful to Michael, Diane, Diego and the rest of the staff for helping make May 13, 2018 one of the most memorable days of our lives. It was a complete success. Soundview Caterers helped make all our dreams come true... and I would highly recommend any bride-to-be to take a close look at the venue... Views are spectacular, food is tasty and service is above and beyond. Let them help make you dreams come true.

Fantastic !!! We had my daughter's baptism party there in January 2108. Lovely and easy to work with crew. Diane was great ! The maitre d Diego was beyond fantastic and very helpful. The location is gorgeous. The view is unparalleled. The food is delicious. The only only only reasons I can't give them a full 5 (this is like a 4.7!) is the lack of a real wheelchair option. The downstairs bathrooms. Small downstairs venue option. And cold food complaints. Felt like a long time between courses BUT the place is immaculately clean. Fun. Gorgeously set up which saves you a lot in decor. Great drinks. Great service. Easy parking. Easy to find. Gorgeous view. I am definitely planning on using them again for parties of 100 people.

The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, the drinks were excellent - the view is fantastic. The most important thing for me was the vibe, the energy you get from this place as soon as you walk in is indescribable -- you can feel your heart flourish and dance! The Soundview staff will always be family in our hearts! We are so grateful! Like I said to them, you're stuck with us! Over a year ago my now husband and I started our journey to look for a venue for our wedding that fit what we wanted, after looking at 5-6 venues our last and final stop was Soundview Caterers. The moment we walked in to Soundview we knew it was exactly what we wanted very modern and sleek (no ugly gross rugs here). We sat down with Michael and he was willing to move a party to offer us our wedding date 11-11-17. The day before our wedding we brought boxes of decorations etc. and I had specific directions of where and how I wanted everything set up. Diego the best maître d wrote every “demand” I was requesting and on our wedding day he nailed it, every single detail was met perfectly. I’m not the easiest person to please and I was extremely pleased (miracle). Now the night of our wedding had started and the cocktail hour was amazing every person I spoke to was raving about the food, drinks and what a great touch the piano player and outdoor area with heaters was for ambiance. The main event the reception it went off with out a hitch with the help of Michael’s amazing staff and I can not leave out the amazing house DJ Ultimate Sound. The room was absolutely gorgeous from the up lighting to the monogram of our names to the beautiful table set up including our cake showcased so perfectly, I could not be happier, the fireplace where we sat was a beautiful back drop for pictures, not that I took to many pictures because I was dancing pretty much the entire time to my awesome DJ along with acoustics and sax player who were probably the best I have ever heard. I have literally spoken to all my family friends since our wedding and have received the same response and I quote “one of the best weddings they have ever been to”. The amazing appetizer duet, pasta and entrees were delicious and I can not forget our mini passed out sorbet cones and Taco Bell exit station, perfect ending to a perfect night. John and I were impressed at the staff at the Soundview the employees were very professional and service was excellent to us and our guest. I want to thank Michael, Diego, Andrea & Diane for one of the best night that we will never forget.

I absolutely loved the Sound View upon my first visit. I came back with my dad and was given a tour by someone named Jerry who asked if we knew about the current promotion. Jerry informed us that if we signed up before November we would get the ceremony fee waived and a free exit station. We then booked a tasting and I brought my parents, grandma and fiancé who hadn't yet seen the venue. When we arrived Michael the owner told me he had a phone call to make. I was then asked to pay $50 per person in cash up front before the tasting. After waiting around I decided to give my family the tour myself. I was very disappointed because I wanted them to hear everything Michael had to say about the venue. We then had the tasting which was horrible. We had stale hard bread. Crab cakes made with fake crab. Uneven cooked steak. Our dessert was just ice cream. For $50. While we ate Michael the owner sat with us and told me that I reminded him of a bridezilla he once had who would email him often confirming every detail. I was shocked! I hadn't even signed up for the venue yet!! Finally, when it came to discussing the contract he refused to honor the promotion his employee had told us about. He called me a liar. When I stood by my point he reached out to the employee and confirmed what he had told me and then fired him. He did not stay by what his employee promised us and I then couldn't sign up with the venue. I need a venue where I can trust any employee and where the owner will stand by any statements or promises made by the employee. You can't trust him. He has only been in business for a few years and clearly doesn't know how to run a business which is all about customer service.I wouldn't be surprised if this place is out of business by my wedding date.

From the moment I found Soundview Caterers I knew it was absolutely the perfect venue as it checked off all the important items I required including: an outdoor ceremony site, bridal suite, only one event per night and most importantly it was on the LI Sound. (Side Note: the bridal suite is a tad on the small side and a full size mirror would have been nice.) I was hoping for just a body of water as my husband and I enjoy fishing and actually had our first date on a beach along the Sound so I felt it was apt to get married here. There were rumors of stair construction that would allow us beach access by the time our wedding rolled around, but that never ended up happening. Nevertheless, I knew this beautiful high tech venue was where I wanted to get married. The venue is so gorgeous with uplighting in the ballroom. The staff was very attentive to our needs (Thanks so much Diego and Andrea!) and everyone said the food was great. We were not fans of the ribeye as we are very particular about steak, but it did taste better that night then it did during the menu tasting. Michael, the owner personally saw to it. He also checked in on us periodically and was so sweet that I felt we were all one big family by the time the wedding was over. I had the absolute perfect day and Soundview Caterers was a huge reason why. Most of all, I thought this venue would be completely out of budget, but was actually affordable for everything it has to offer. I would 100% recommend this venue. I had my son's wedding at Soundview and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent and so was the service. Michael was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We all had a wonderful time and everyone commented on how beautiful it was, especially having the ceremony outside. Highly recommend!

I had my son's wedding at Soundview and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent and so was the service. Michael was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We all had a wonderful time and everyone commented on how beautiful it was, especially having the ceremony outside. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding at Soundview June 25th and it was FLAWLESS. Choosing Soundview was hands-down the best decision we made! All of our guests raved about the delicious food, the accomodating wait staff, as well as the beautiful decor. Michael, the owner, is incredibly down-to-earth and genuinely seeks the best interest of his brides. Him and his entire staff made the planning process easy and ensured that our big day was perfect! I could not have asked for anything better. I heartily recommend Soundview to anyone looking to have their dream wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding at Soundview June 25th and it was FLAWLESS. Choosing Soundview was hands-down the best decision we made! All of our guests raved about the delicious food, the accomodating wait staff, as well as the beautiful decor. Michael, the owner, is incredibly down-to-earth and genuinely seeks the best interest of his brides. Him and his entire staff made the planning process easy and ensured that our big day was perfect! I could not have asked for anything better. I heartily recommend Soundview to anyone looking to have their dream wedding!

I got married here at 5/19/17. My experience with Soundview was interesting. The day of my wedding was beautiful and Soundview is beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing and people still tell me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding but with that being said, I didn't have the best time planning and working with Soundview. They never responded quickly To my emails and it got to the point where I was sending multiples of the same email just to get a response. There were about 4 different receptionists since when we booked in a year and a half ago and if I told one something and that one left, the new one never knew what was going on. Plenty of things were miscommunicated that day and I was blamed for it! For example I was told on numerous occasions someone would be able to set up my centerpieces for me (they were mason jars with sand or water) - the day of my rehearsal I bring everything and tell him what I needed and he tells me I need to come and Do my centerpieces!!! I was so mad! Thankfully my mother in law saved the day. Michael also made plenty of jokes at my expense about my \"multiple emails\" in front of his entire staff which I thought was very inappropriate! The day of my wedding I had Dominic as my maitr'd and let's just say he and I did not mix well! At one point I asked him not to talk to me because he was soo rude and was talking down to pretty much Everyone around. He kept telling me how my DJ was running late and how I needed to get in contact with them (mind you, I am trying to take pictures with my family) he finally got a hold of the dj himself and was pretty much yelling at the DJ. He told me multiple times how late people were which I thought was very unprofessional. Tell someone other than the bride. He then told my photographer he needed to stop with pictures because I needed to go hide. He put me in a room for 45 minutes! Even though I told Him it was okay and I wanted to finish as much pictures as I can, he didn't want to hear it. They also had 1 can left of my husbands drink of choice (when we told them this is the only thing he drinks!) At 9:30pm! After telling them Someone needed to go to the store because it was a huge problem, magically they appeared with more! When we confronted Dominic with any issue he was very confrontational and wasn't willing to hear it. My sister also said Dominic was extremely rude to her when she asked a question. I know this seems like a harsh review but as a positive thing, my guests had no idea what was happening behind scenes and had the best time ever. My bridal attendant Cynthia was also fabulous! I don't want to make it seem like I hated Soundview, I didn't but some things were just not okay! If Soundview cleans up on their customer service they will be around for a very long time!

I don't know where to start so I'll go right to the beginning. The day my husband and I found Soundview Caterers we were in awe. When we first met with Michael over two years ago the venue was still a newer place. Michael's experience and passion was evident from our first conversation. I recall my now husband wanting to think about it and telling Mike we would be in touch. As soon as we got in the parking lot I looked at him and said \"if I don't get my date, I am going to kill you\". Lol..Sure enough we turned around went back in and booked our wedding date. Now fast forwarding to the days leading up to the wedding, we were introduced to Soundview's excellent staff. Going to the venue for any wedding prep, still gave us that same feeling we got the first day we found it. The day of the wedding the venue looked amazing. Once the officiant arrived, we realized we forgot the marriage license in my car wich was back at the hotel and the keys were locked in the room. Michael just said \"don't worry about it, give me your hotel key, I'll go get the car keys and get the license\". After he left, I realized that I didn't mention where in the car was the license (in a small envelop, in between my 50 coupons in the glove compartment). He comes back, & could not find it. So I explained throughly that the license was buried in between all of my coupon hording. Sure enough Michael got back in his car, drove back to the hotel, back to my car and came back with the license. I am so greatfull for having such a dedicated vendor. Michael went above and beyond to make sure our day was the best day. Cynthia was my bridal attendant and she was wonderful. At all times she made sure all my needs were met. She was like my very own bodyguard 😍Along with the staff, the food and the location, one of the best things about getting married at this venue is the stunning views. Another plus is that there is only one event/wedding per day. Soundview is all yours to enjoy with family and friends. We highly recommend Soundview Caterers to anyone looking for a place to host a special event.

We recently got married at Soundview, May 2017, and I can’t possibly put into words how amazing they were. Our wedding day went so smoothly and was more perfect than we even imagined it could be. It rained on our big day, so we had to have the ceremony inside, they handled it so well. The transition from ceremony to reception was seamless. All of our guests have raved about how excellent the food was as well. The bridal attendant, Cynthia, and the maitre d, Dominick, were so helpful throughout the entire night. The owner, Michael, was also incredibly helpful and hands on throughout the whole process, from planning to wedding day, he was always happy to answer any questions or offer advice along the way. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend Soundview!

We recently got married at Soundview, May 2017, and I can’t possibly put into words how amazing they were. Our wedding day went so smoothly and was more perfect than we even imagined it could be. All of our guests have raved about how excellent the food was as well. The bridal attendant, Cynthia, and the maitre d, Dominick, were so helpful throughout the entire night. The owner, Michael, was also incredibly helpful and hands on throughout the whole process, from planning to wedding day, he was always happy to answer any questions or offer advice along the way. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend Soundview!

The staff was very nice too, nicer than most and I have been to practically every venue on Long Island. The food was great everyone loved the specialty cocktail they created for us. Michael did a beautiful job renovating the entire venue and it is in good taste, not overdone, no artificial plants or wall murals to cover up for poor quality. The architecture speaks for itself. He also had a gorgeous huge fresh flower arrangement in the lobby to enhance our decorations which was an unexpected and lovely surprise. Michael's lifetime of experience in this business really shows. We are so grateful we chose Soundview for our successful.event

Soundview Caterers was the first venue that we visited on our 2+ month journey of looking and it remained as the top option for us as we visited almost a dozen other sites across LI. Michael (owner and head chef) and Lindsay were SO accommodating and helpful with every single question I had over a long string of detailed emails. What I loved the most about the Soundview was the fact that I would have been the ONLY bride the WHOLE day! It was a plus that the reception room was absolutely gorgeous, the view of the LI sound was beautiful, and the whole space is brand new and clean! We attended the Bridal Show which helped us view the room in all of its elegance, but also made us realize that it might be just a little too small for our growing guest list, particularly during the cocktail hour. They hold a maximum of 250 guests, but we have over 300+ on our list which we would be stressing out in fitting. Michael gave us a VERY reasonable quote, considering it was a Saturday and I could sense that I would have been taken care of by their staff.

The elegant ceremony area with breathtaking water view and the grand and pristine reception room make this place impossible to beat. The magnificence of the structure can only be matched by the people who run it. Michael and his staff are a class act. They are professional and friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make your wedding day everything you hoped and planned for and then some!! From the big things like answering every question my husband had (and he had a lot) and making sure our day ran smoothly so we didn’t have to, to the small things like making sure my mother had the beer she wanted and fluffing my dress as I walked down the aisle they were there for us every step of the way. Hosting only one wedding at a time, Soundview truly devotes themselves to every bride and groom. As a bride it was very important for me to be able to see my ideas for the day come to life and I could not have done that to the degree that I did anywhere else. I cannot recommend Soundview Caterers enough!! THANK YOU SOUNDVIEW CATERERS!!

To say that our wedding on 10/28/16 exceeded our expectations would be an understatement, but as the Bride, I never had any doubts from the first moment I walked into Soundview and met their unbelievably amazing staff. Soundview was the first venue my husband and I visited, and immediately I had a gut feeling this was the place we'd be married. The picturesque views of the Long Island Sound had me from the moment we pulled up. Michael, Soundview's owner was the second element of the venue that sold me. Upon meeting him, we felt like he was someone we had known for years and without regret, immediately put our trust into him and his staff to execute a memorable celebration. From beginning to end, there was never a moment where myself or husband felt weary or unsure about any detail being tended to. Admittedly, I was not a traditional bride, and wanted there to be a calming, simplistic feel to our wedding. Michael, Lindsay, Nick, Mia and the other employees working our wedding ensured we would never have to worry about anything and delivered flawless service in every aspect. From creating a delicious menu, which prompted reviews from guests of all ages saying it was the best they had at a wedding to date, to being able to come in a few days prior to the event to set up the inside of our wedding with Lindsay and Michael, I truly felt relaxed in the moments leading up to our big day. Moments that could have gone awry, like when our transportation arrived late, was quickly alleviated by the Soundview staff, who assured us and our families that the show would go on as planned; and it did without any detection from our guests thanks to the professionalism of Michael & his team. Special shout out to the best Bridal attendant of all time, Mia - whose composed, unruffled demeanor truly made a huge impact on our night. She did it all, from bringing us a huge platter of food to eat in our bridal suite during cocktail hour, to yanking the tulle material on my wedding gown that continuously got caught in my impractical stone encrusted shoes, this girl performed her duties exceptionally well. We never felt like she was in the way, yet any time we were empty handed, there she was providing us the best service possible and making sure we were eating and drinking throughout the duration of the night. I am biased, but there is truly no place like Soundview. Michael is a seasoned professional and this establishment is a well-oiled machine. A few more noteworthy mentions go out to: Lindsay, who helped make sure all of the little details; everything from lighting, to our signature drinks and décor, looked exactly as we imagined it would. To our amazing maître d, Nick, who literally offered to drive some of our remaining guests back to our hotel when our last shuttle van didn't show - THANK YOU! You do not find service like this just anywhere. We are never going to forget the evening we had at Soundview, and we have their amazing staff to thank for that. Our utmost gratitude to Michael & team for executing an unforgettable event. We are now proud members of the Soundview family and will always remember the amazing experience we were lucky to have there.

The venue is family run and not at all like a typical Long Island wedding \"factory\" venue. They only do one wedding at a time which was so important to me. From the moment I walked into Soundview I knew I wanted to get married there. The venue is clean and has freshly re-done wood floors throughout-no carpet! The outdoor space is so beautifully landscaped and it was so amazing to get married right on the Long Island sound. I also picked here because if it rained and I had to have my ceremony indoors it was also a beautiful option with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the sound. It actually did rain on my wedding day but stopped about an hour prior to my ceremony. Michael had his staff out there cleaning off the chairs for my guests and I'm so grateful for him working hard so that I could have my dream ceremony outside. The food was also amazing, everything we had was so delicious and our guests raved about it too. I also appreciated that the price was all inclusive, no hidden service fees. It was refreshing to have that. As a Soundview bride you can customize the lobby to however you want to decorate it and you also have total control over the menu. All my guests raved about what an awesome wedding we had. Soundview is the ultimate definition of class. My husband and I began our venue search a few months after getting engaged in early 2015, and Soundview was the first venue we went to see in person. We really wanted our wedding to feel intimate and special, so we were hoping to find a venue that held only one event at a time. Soundview fit the bill and we fell in love with it right away, of course we decided to visit other venues just to make sure we weren't jumping the gun. However, even after viewing several other well known, and high end venues, Soundview was by far our favorite. The whole space feels unique separating itself from some of the other “cookie-cutter” venues on Long Island. The Soundview has so much charming character and classic detail. The beautiful crown moldings, stunning chandeliers and brand new hardwood floors really prove that not a single detail was overlooked. In addition, Soundview is newly renovated so it has all of the modern aspects that add customization to your special day, like state of the art colored up-lighting and HD screens that can showcase your love story through a photo slideshow. Obviously one of the best parts of having our wedding at Soundview was the location, tucked away in Bayville, right on the water. The views are stunning and are really emphasized by the floor to ceiling windows allowing everyone to enjoy the scenic beauty of the water as well as the sunset, whether they are inside or outdoors. Michael (the owner) and Amanda (The Maitre’d), were there every step of the way ensuring that not a thing was out of place. All of the decorative details I dropped off several days before, were arranged throughout the venue better than I could have done it had I been there myself. The food was incredible, our guests still rave about it to this day. The drinks were free flowing and delicious! They even accommodated our “signature drink” request that required some very specific and uncommon ingredients. The staff was courteous, extremely accommodating and always available. The whole event was extremely organized and I really truly owe it to Michael’s expertise and attention to detail. From the first time we stepped foot into Soundview all the way up to the day we actually became husband and wife we were treated as if we were family by Michael and his staff.

My husband and I began our venue search a few months after getting engaged in early 2015, and Soundview was the first venue we went to see in person. We really wanted our wedding to feel intimate and special, so we were hoping to find a venue that held only one event at a time. Soundview fit the bill and we fell in love with it right away, of course we decided to visit other venues just to make sure we weren't jumping the gun. However, even after viewing several other well known, and high end venues, Soundview was by far our favorite. The whole space feels unique separating itself from some of the other “cookie-cutter” venues on Long Island. The Soundview has so much charming character and classic detail. The beautiful crown moldings, stunning chandeliers and brand new hardwood floors really prove that not a single detail was overlooked. In addition, Soundview is newly renovated so it has all of the modern aspects that add customization to your special day, like state of the art colored up-lighting and HD screens that can showcase your love story through a photo slideshow. Obviously one of the best parts of having our wedding at Soundview was the location, tucked away in Bayville, right on the water. The views are stunning and are really emphasized by the floor to ceiling windows allowing everyone to enjoy the scenic beauty of the water as well as the sunset, whether they are inside or outdoors. August 6th, 2016. Soundview Caterers…you made my dream come true! When you’re a little girl and you dream about your wedding day, you dream about the man and the dress. But, you could NEVER dream up the day my husband and I had – and it is with sincere love and gratitude that we thank our new friends and “family” at Soundview Caterers for that.Where should I begin? Well, my husband Eric and I found Soundview by doing a search for LI wedding venues that held only one event at a time. I didn’t want to be one of two, three, even four brides…I wanted to be THE BRIDE. Another non-negotiable was carpeting! YUCK! I was ONLY going to get married at a venue with hardwood floors. And, so, we wound up at Soundview. One event at a time. Hardwood floors (brand-new). It was the first of 13 halls Eric and I looked at. Truth be told, I wanted to stop as soon as I saw Soundview and met Michael. First impression: Drop dead gorgeous! “This is where I want to get married!!!” Right on the Long Island Sound, breathtaking view. Brand-new!!! Ballroom: Hardwood floors, cream-colored walls, white accents, chandeliers. Cocktail hour leading out to a patio. Stone walkway leading to a ceremony space. Gazebo. I was getting married in Church, but the space outside, even if just for photos…amazing!!!When we sat down with Michael, I could hardly contain my excitement. After going over menu options and pricing, I had made up my mind for the fifth time since we’d gotten there. Michael, the owner (and subsequently new member of my family) said he wanted us to go look at other places. That the first place shouldn’t be the only place we look. Basically he wanted us to see what else was out there and that, if we made the decision he thought we would, we’d be back. And…he was right! Thirteen halls later and an additional trip to Soundview in the middle where I met Aldiana (one of Michael’s Daughters and my go-to-girl for all things Soundview), I was certain we had found our venue. And, as I said earlier, my dream came true on Saturday, August 6th 2016, our Wedding Day. I made sure to take it all in. Our arrival: The red carpet, champagne toast to greet us, the foyer with tables displaying pictures of Eric and me (you can customize the venue however you like…remember, YOU are the ONLY event!), the Ballroom!!! Exquisite! Our cocktail hour and main courses…our guests are still calling us to rave about the food! The drinks that kept on flowing! Our guests were happy and we were over-the-moon. From ushering the guests into the ballroom after cocktail hour, making sure the bridal party was in place for their entrance, Michael’s golf-cart ride to take photos at sunset, and ALL that was in-between, I am forever grateful. It was the wedding of a lifetime! I’d say I’m someone who makes smart decisions and choosing Soundview for our wedding is a decision I will never regret! Where can I even begin? My husband and I got married on July 2, 2016 and could not have asked for a better venue. EVERYTHING was perfect! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the cocktail hour where guests could not stop raving about the selection and quality of the food. Michael, the owner of Soundview is also the head chef, and made sure nothing left his kitchen unless it was absolutely perfect. Everything was prepared fresh, and it showed. Our friends and family were stunned by the amazing views as well as the classy and elegant ambiance of the newly renovated the hall. It looked absolutely exquisite! The best part was that we had the whole place to ourselves and were treated like king and queen the entire time. Nicholas, our maitre de was absolutely amazing! He made sure everything ran effortlessly, and constantly checked in on us to make sure that we were happy. Mia, Michael's daughter was extremely helpful. She assisted us in anything we needed throughout the night, and even played with my 2 year old nephew. Thank you for treating us like family. I cannot say enough about how great Soundview is. This is the place to have your wedding!!! From the minute we walked in to have a consultation we felt like family. Michael his daughters and the staff are top notch. 5.13.16 was the most amazing day of my life. Everything was perfect. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. The team at Soundview took care of it all. We were able to come the day before and set up so I had a say in all the details. The foyer had pictures of us and our grandparents you can really make it your own. EVERYONE raved about the food!!! It was outstanding. A friend of mine stole her husbands crab-cake it was that good. Everyone's entree came out in a timely manner so we could eat and get back on the dance floor. The room is brand new and the view is spectacular. The cocktail hour is indoor/outdoor and again the guests raved about the food, top shelf liquor and service. I wish I could have my wedding everyday it truly was such a magical day!!! We were lucky enough to be one of the first couples to book our wedding at Soundview. As soon as my now wife saw the view of the ocean from the party room & ceremony location we immediately made the decision there was no other places we needed to look at, we were sold.They walked us through the wedding options very candidly and we felt the whole process was completely transparent. Michael (the owner) was very professional and answered all our questions, even ones we didn't even know to ask.Soundview also throws a example wedding for all the grooms & brides who booked, which was genius and it really did help us better visualize how our wedding would go, what we wanted & what we didn't. I'd strongly suggest you go if you book your wedding with them.We loved that we were the only event at the location and therefore we had the whole day to only worry about us and not running into different parties/people. Michael's staff were incredibly attentive to our every need and we couldn't have asked for better food.The only Soundview suggested vendor we used was for the cake, which we were told was very good (we were too busy to eat).We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Truly a night we will never forget. I can't sing their praises enough, but they really deserve ever letter.

Our wedding was held and hosted by Soundview Caters on Sept 5th, 2015. Michael and his staff, mostly family, transformed an otherwise ordinary Saturday evening into a magical, fairy-tale spectacular for the ages. From the beauty of venue itself, to the pre-ceremony drinks and lemonade, to the Game-of-Thrones-like cocktail smorgasbord, to the bridal attendant and suite, to the actual seated dinner, and finally to the after-reception White Castle sliders, Gelato bar and Hot Dog cart, Soundview pull no punches and delivered all components with a quality and professionalism that made 97% of our guest say “This is the best wedding I have ever been to.”\r\rThe Set-up: Michael and his staff were very flexible and accommodating as my bride and I went through the venue and food selection process. The staff provided one-on-one appointments where they dedicated time to walk us around the venue (several different times) and discuss menu options. Soundview was very open to providing and even swapping out food items to fit our gastro-needs. Michael and the Soundview staff are experts in this business and were able to enhance our wedding by providing additional non-venue suggestions. When discussing the cocktail hour, the Maître D’, Aldiana, suggested that we do a first look at the Arboretum so that we could actually spend more time with our guest and my cheese selection during that time!!!\rMichael and his staff were very responsive to my bride’s inquiries and concerns once we booked the venue. As we live in Manhattan, they even allowed her to ship several last minute items to Soundview directly to them for safe keeping.\rThe Big Day: The most amazing part of it all was everything that was talked about, agreed upon and promised was delivered. Full stop. There was not one hiccup, not one. And because of the attention to detail, the follow through, the personal bride and groom attention, we were both able to enjoy our wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception without once consciously thinking about venue and/or catering events. We were carted back to the outdoor ceremony location from the hall to finish our last photos without hesitation. All of the cocktail hour food selections were waiting in the bridal suite as we arrived post ceremony. My glass of my favorite single-malt scotch was never empty and I never once went to the bar. We tasted all of the food choices without ever asking.\rSoundview Caters – I fully understand where the Soundview part of the name originated from. As anyone can see from their photos, the outdoor ceremony venue is adjacent to the Long Island Sound, and provide break taking views for sunset weddings, like mine. But it wasn’t until my actual wedding day did I fully realize the “Carters” part of the name. At first glance, one might only think of the act of providing food and beverages to large parties. However, I believe that the true meaning is that Michael, his family and his staff will cater to your every need, even the ones you didn’t know you had. Michael and his staff were so gracious and made us feel so special. They answered every question, email, and phone call and their opinions and advice were instrumental in making our day what it was, perfect! They really went out of their way to make us feel like our day was their day as well. \r\rMy husband and I were married there just a couple of days ago and we are still on cloud nine. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day and it was made even more perfect by the warm and wonderful staff at Soundview. Our families and friends are already saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to!\r\rWe were lucky to have a gorgeous day but with a view like that, even rain would have been beautiful. The picturesque waterfront view is truly incredible. The facility itself is all brand new and each and every detail was carefully picked out and made perfect by Michael. When we first toured Soundview it was unfinished but as Michael described his vision and plans for this beautiful place we knew we had to be a part of it. \r\rTheir recommendations for vendors were spot on as well and each one we talked to spoke more and more highly of Michael. They were all wonderful to work with and made our special day go seamlessly.\r\rNow, the food! My husband was unable to attend the food tasting so I brought our moms. My mom did not stop talking about the crab cakes for MONTHS! When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING, was absolutely delicious and presented so beautifully. There was something for everyone and it was all amazing.\r\rI really could go on forever, there aren't enough positive adjectives to describe how happy we are that we trusted Soundview with the most important day of our lives! They made us feel like family and were so excited WITH us on our special day! I've not planned many weddings but I know that is rare and something very special. I would recommend them to anyone and wholeheartedly encourage everyone to see this magical place!

I don't even know where to begin. Like another reviewer, Soundview was the first venue we saw after getting engaged and we knew immediately after meeting Michael and touring the gorgeous brand new facility that this was the place we wanted to get married. Michael and his staff were so gracious and made us feel so special. My finance and I began looking at restaurants and catering facilities on the water. We made 4 appointments so that we could compare and select the one that represented us best. This is our second marriage and we are in our 50's so we wanted something very special. We wanted a great view, beautiful setting, good food ( we are foodies), and a caterer that was friendly and listening to our needs.\r\rWell we visited Soundview first because I found both Michael and Jaimie to be friendly and quick to return my calls to set up an appointment. Most other facilities made me feel like I was just another reception, but not Michael. It was our first visit and our last. We knew as we left that this place was exactly what we want. After leaving I called the other facilities and cancelled our appointments. I then called Michael back to set up an appointment and sign the contract. \r\rSoundview was recently rebuilt and Michael as the owner looks to the place as if it is his child. The details are gorgeous starting from the entrance and right down to even the bathrooms. He and Jaimie made us feel welcome again and took us around the outside where our ceremony will be (right on the water) and into the area for the cocktail hour, and finally into the reception room. As we walked Michael gave us his thoughts on our options and each one was better than the next. \r\rHe is catering to our wants and thoroughly understands our needs. The selections for the cocktail hour and main courses are fabulous. But best of all, Michael only hosts one event a day, so no one is rushed or finding the place messy from a previous event.\r\rSoundview also has an excellent selection of vendors for entertainment, flowers, photography, etc. When I called a few and mentioned that our wedding is at Soundview each person was friendly as Michael.\r\rOur wedding is not until next year but I felt that I needed to express my satisfaction. No that is not accurate, because I am not just satisfied I am thrilled to be working with Michael and his staff on such an important day. I know that I will have no worries that day and what can be better than that....other than taking the hand of my wife and celebrating with our families.

Hello all. I wanted to take some time and share with you, the unforgettable event we held, hosted and shared with Soundview Caterers. On May 30, 2015 our newest addition was baptized in Oyster Bay and we choose to celebrate this rite of passage at Soundview Caterers, in Bayville, New York, as this is truly a venue for all seasons to host the event of a lifetime! \rUpon arriving at SC, I entered one of the coziest, warm and elegant foyers. Michael, the owner, was awaiting my arrival. I immediately noticed the extensive and gorgeous renovations Michael had orchestrated. After speaking for a few minutes we moved toward the ballroom, where the double doors were closed. When Michael opened the first door, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing: the sheer, unadulterated elegance of the décor coupled with one of the most breathtaking views of the Long Island sound from the floor-to-ceiling windows inspired chills. The chandeliers – 3 of them – sparkle from the natural light adorning the room, and glimmer in the “show lights” built into the lighting system. The dance floor is large and centered in the room to allow guests on both sides to enjoy the party. And the rest of the place did not disappoint! All of the renovations and updates have put SC on the map as one of the most elegant and detail oriented catering halls on Long Island. \rMichael and I sat down and looked over some of the catering packages available at SC, and perhaps one of the most enlightening aspects of working with SC is knowing EXACTLY you will be paying per person! Please read that again: SC Caterers gives you a per-person price that includes ALL taxes, gratuities, etc. At SC, if Michael tells you that based on your selections it is $85.00 per person, then all you have to do is tally up the total number of people coming, multiple that by $85.00, and you have a firm, final cost based on that number. \rThe entire process between booking and partying was seamless. Aldiana and Michael were both so involved in each step, and thankfully, made themselves available to me since I live in PA. Aldiana called me with friendly reminders and offered her opinions on several different things. She knows what she is talking about. When I met with Michael on finalizing the food selections, he told me he could make anything I wanted, as he was going to be the chef for the party. Their sample menu that they showed me sounded so delicious, I didn’t make any changes. \rThe party itself was amazing! The room was set up more beautifully than I imagined and my guests were treated to the most delicious food by the most accommodating and well-presented staff. The entire TEAM of waiters, waitresses and bartenders not only looked clean and professional, they were kind and considerate of everyone they encountered, including each other. Aldiana was the most gracious of hosts, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of and there was no request they didn’t meet. \rThe staff at SC is phenomenal. The entire facility is state-of-the-art; it is classy, elegant and offers the most breathtaking views. Take the time to go to Bayville and see for yourself. Whether it’s your once-in-a-lifetime event, a rite of passage or some other celebration of love, what you are envisioning in your mind becomes palpable when you step inside. Soundview Caterers is a BEAUTIFUL place! It is a unique and elegant venue located on the water in Bayville, NY. The design and decor of the venue is exquisite and the views are exceptional. I recently got engaged and I have been searching for a place on Long Island to have my wedding ceremony and reception. My fiancé and I looked at a lot of venues all across Long Island and in our opinion NONE of them compared to Soundview. It is situated on the Long Island Sound on the North Shore of Long Island -The views are AMAZING! The place is all newly redone with all the amenities you can imagine. The cocktail hour space is beautiful and the bridal suite is lovely. The ballroom is STUNNING with crystal chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows that provide an INCREDIBLE view of the water! Even the bathrooms are gorgeous! Soundview only hosts one event at a time, which is extremely important to us. Michael, the owner and manager, is a true gentleman and a wonderful businessman. He is very knowledgeable and has had a lot of experience with wedding and event planning. He knows what brides need/want and he will work with you to make your day perfect- just the way you want it. We also met some of the staff and they were very gracious and kind. We booked our wedding at Soundview Caterers for the summer of 2015 and we can't wait for our special day! We will have an outdoor ceremony on the water and a reception to follow in the grand ballroom. We have no doubts that it will be an incredible experience! If you or someone you know has an event coming up and they need a beautiful venue...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you check out Soundview Caterers!
