This family-owned and operated property is owned by mother-and-daughter duo Carol and Laurie Southerland. Beautifully nestled on 130 acres of private land, the site is filled with rolling hills, sunset views, and open plains. For those seeking to escape the hustle of the big city, this farm can play host to the wedding celebration you’ve always envisioned. Southerland Farm Weddings & Events LLC provides both indoor and outdoor settings for your big day. Outdoor ceremonies in the sunshine can take place at various areas dotted around the farm including the intimate Marrying Rock. This large rock overlooks the entire farm and has been used as a place of ceremony since the 1930s. You can overlook this naturalistic area as you exchange vows and take your first steps as a married couple. The rustic barn makes for memorable receptions that run long into the night. Featuring wooden beams, high ceilings, and a moveable barn door, this venue allows your celebrations to easily flow between the inside and out. The 2,750 square-foot barn can be configured in several ways and has ample space for seated guests, live entertainment, and a dance floor. Furthermore, the large barn doors open up and face glorious sunsets over the distant rolling hills. Further facilities and amenities include on-site parking, internet access, a catering area, and a bridal and groom suite. These suites provide a haven for you and your close friends to relax and get ready before the big moment arrives. Upon booking your big day at this venue, you will receive a variety of event items to help bring your event to life.
