My husband and I were married at Southern House and Garden in March of 2019! It was absolutely amazing! I never felt a bit of stress the during the whole planning time or on the day of our wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning too. Highly recommend using the Bella Chapel! The chocolate peanut butter cake for the grooms cake was my favorite! The flowers were exactly as I imagined! Our guests provided tons of compliments on the whole venue.

My husband and I had a 2 month engagement, and I genuinely do not think we could have pulled of the wedding we did without Southern House & Garden! They seriously take care of EVERYTHING. Our day was simple and perfect and I am so glad we chose Southern House & Garden. From the first tour of the property to the send off everyone was incredibly helpful and made the planning of our day so smooth. (Also, highly recommend getting one of their on staff wedding coordinators, we had Keely and she was AMAZING).

My husband and I had a 2 month engagement, and I genuinely do not think we could have pulled of the wedding we did without Southern House & Garden! They seriously take care of EVERYTHING. Our day was simple and perfect and I am so glad we chose Southern House & Garden. From the first tour of the property to the send off everyone was incredibly helpful and made the planning of our day so smooth. (Also, highly recommend getting one of their on staff wedding coordinators, we had Keely and she was AMAZING).

Angie, Terri, and Chelsea made all my wedding dreams come true!! I told them all exactly what I wanted and I did not have to lift a finger! I did not have to stress about planning anything from the time I picked the venue to wedding day!!

They gave me everything i wanted when I tried to describe my dream wedding. I dont remember much because the day went by so fast, but I have beautiful pictures of the beautiful flower arrangements, cake and decorations they created for me! They were very helpful and understanding about things I wanted for my big day, even if they were a little... different (tehe)! We had a short 5 month engagement, so we were very lucky to get a Spring wedding date AND having the stress of plannning flowers, catering, cake, decorating, AND cleaning up after off of mine and my mom's shoulders was a HUGE relief and SO worth it.

My husband and I recently got married at Southern House and Garden and it was such an awesome experience! Right from the beginning Angie was very responsive and helpful with planning anything and everything. It was so easy and stress free having the all inclusive packages to choose from. Naturally when getting married in April in Alabama there is a chance of rain and possibly some inclement weather and we had just that but the staff at Southern House and Garden were amazing. They kept everything on schedule and did everything possible to keep the wedding party, our family and all of our guests dry and safe. They were also very accommodating with our vendors and worked hard to make sure everyone had what they needed. I absolutely recommend saying “I Do” at Southern House and Garden if you are looking for the perfect, southern wedding venue!

This venue is a fabulous place to get married! Beautiful grounds and the best and most helpful staff - everything is done in house and it is all taken care of for you so the planning and the big day were relatively stress free! I got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food and cake was (also all done in house). I highly reccomend Southern House & Garden for your wedding festivities; I absolutely loved it!

i will be the first to say that I was not easy to work with!!! I really didn't have any opinions on flowers, music, decorations, etc. I just wanted to be married. EVERYONE at SHG was AMAZING and made everything look perfect and beautiful!! I didn't even have a rehearsal and everything still went off without a hitch! (Thanks Chelsea!). I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE!!! My wedding day was everything I could have hoped it would be.

i will be the first to say that I was not easy to work with!!! I really didn't have any opinions on flowers, music, decorations, etc. I just wanted to be married. EVERYONE at SHG was AMAZING and made everything look perfect and beautiful!! I didn't even have a rehearsal and everything still went off without a hitch! (Thanks Chelsea!). I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE!!! My wedding day was everything I could have hoped it would be.

I am so happy I chose southern house and garden for my wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the people who work there are wonderful. They do everything, the ceremony, reception, food, flowers, cakes, decorations, wedding planner. It was a perfect experience. My husband and I are so grateful, we had so much fun, didn't have to worry about anything, and there is nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone, and if I had to redo it we would still have it there, I loved it!! Thank you again, Angie, Terri and Chelsea. ❤️❤️

I am so happy I chose southern house and garden for my wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the people who work there are wonderful. They do everything, the ceremony, reception, food, flowers, cakes, decorations, wedding planner. It was a perfect experience. My husband and I are so grateful, we had so much fun, didn't have to worry about anything, and there is nothing to complain about. SHG Team (Events Director) Southern House and Garden just celebrated their 10 year anniversary as a venue in Tuscaloosa County. Owners Angie and Terri have been business partners for over 30 years. Southern House and Garden offers several full-service ceremony and reception packages offering cakes, floral design, décor, catering and much, much more! Our staff will do the set-up, parking and clean-up so that all you have to do is say \"I do!\" SHG offers six different ceremony locations including garden, oak tree, vintage open-air chapel and more!
