Space Gallery Reviews
Kelsey Barton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 We had our wedding here on Sept 17, 2022 and it was the most magical day. The venue was absolutely perfect, from the outdoor ceremony and happy hour to the indoor dinner and dancing. The staff was outstanding, especially the venue Manager, Mickey. She ensured we had everything we needed when planning and quickly responded to any questions. We had 180 guests and you can do more if you use the upstairs area but that was plenty of guests for us! The photos and setting are stunning with the art on the walls and it saved us time, effort, and money as it allowed us to keep the decor simple while still being upscale. We did the fire pits (be aware you need to apply for a fire permit through the city which was an easy process) and had a s'mores bar instead of a cake which was a hit. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a city wedding! Reviewed on 28-09-2022
Sam Beres(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-06-2021 First off, we had about 115 people at our wedding (ceremony and reception) at space gallery. The venue was perfect for that size though it could handle more if needed. The art, space, and different outdoor/indoor areas made for a perfect vibe. Micky and the other staff were awesome to work with, especially given the challenging circumstances of planning our big day through the pandemic. If you like the art gallery vibe for your wedding, I can't recommend this place enough. It was also great that they let you bring in whatever vendors you want and buy your own alcohol. We ended up using mountain crust, who are also awesome and synergize perfectly with space gallery. Honestly, our only wish is that we could plan more events with them. Reviewed on 13-06-2021
Jason Kantner(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-01-2020 This place is amazing. The indoor area was uniquely and beautifully decorated with contemporary art - added a great touch to our photos. The outdoor area was perfect for happy hour while the large room was flipped. And the owners couldn't have been easier to work with! Reviewed on 29-04-2020
Rebecca Shay(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2019 Easy to coordinate with, punctual and things went incredibly smoothly on the day of the event (150 guests, wedding reception). Allowed us a later night to spend time with guests than many other reception venues in Denver - highly recommend! Reviewed on 08-09-2019
Kelley Mang(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-05-2019 Space Gallery was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a better venue. The artwork was fun, and it was so easy to switch our outdoor wedding to an indoor when the rain and snow came. Super flexible, amazingly kind staff, which made all of our important decisions so much easier to make. Not to mention they helped with clean up after! Reviewed on 23-05-2019
Jill Shreeve(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2018 Space Gallery was amazing. We had the best time at our wedding, they were very accommodating and wonderful to work with. Micky is amazing and Kenzie was great to have on staff the night of our wedding. People are still commenting on how unique our wedding was and that our venue was so perfect. Thank you Space Gallery Team! Reviewed on 02-10-2018
Coza Perry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-06-2018 Truly an incredible place to get married. Mickey was SO helpful, the space was perfect, and we were very happy with our choice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, urban, beautiful setting. Reviewed on 13-07-2018
Natalie Gotter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-01-2018 We had a great experience with Space as both our ceremony and reception venue. We worked primarily with Jillian who is the location's on site coordinator. We knew we wanted an artsy space and had checked out a few others, but the moment we walked into Space we knew that this was the location. We had a smaller wedding (about 110 people) and it seemed like the perfect amount. We were assured that it could fit up to 200, but I have a feeling that would have felt too cramped. Space was extremely easy to work with and let us bring in all of our own vendors. The only downside is that Space is only available for 8 hours total including set-up and take down time (unless you want to pay extra) which meant that the actual celebration ended up feeling a little short. They have a good selection of in house rentals at decent prices such as tables, table linens, photobooth etc. etc. which really helped with overall planning and cost. Reviewed on 25-02-2018

Lucy Brooks(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-09-2017 We originally chose this venue because of the outside space which is very cool and urban. Our plan was to have the ceremony and cocktails outside. Rain changed all this and we moved inside and it was just as good if not better. We were able to utilize the mezzanine for a grand entrance for the bride and later for cocktails. It was just as amazing as we had anticipated it would be outside. The staff was great to work with and there was plenty of room for our 115 guests. Reviewed on 28-09-2017

Kelsey Fitzsimmons(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-04-2017 It was a pleasure working with Space Gallery for our wedding. Plan A was to use the patio outside for the ceremony and then move inside... being in Colorado we quickly changed to Plan B when snow arrived on our April wedding date. Jillian was very helpful the day of and leading up to the wedding. The fact they included rentals was huge to us, one less thing to coordinate. The photobooth glitched out a few times throughout the night but other than that everything had a great flow. Space Gallery was the perfect setting for our wedding - no need to spend money on decorations when there is beautiful art everywhere! Fun gallery to work with and have only had rave reviews from our guests! Reviewed on 08-05-2017
Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2015 Space Gallery is a great venue to have your wedding! We booked about 8-9 months out and they only had a few spots left during the month we had wanted, but it was totally worth it! Melissa and Mike were so helpful throughout the entire process. We got married on a Friday, so we loved that all the tables and chairs were included. It was such a beautiful venue to share our special moments. Highly recommended to couples looking for a intimate, modern, urban spot to tie the knot! Reviewed on 18-08-2015
Caitlin Ferrell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-09-2014 Space Gallery was an amazing venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Our ceremony and cocktail hour was held in the Sculpture Garden, followed by dinner and dancing in the Gallery. Many of our guests told me it was the most unique wedding venue they'd been to, and were excited for an \"urban\" wedding in Colorado, as opposed to a Mountain wedding. We wanted an urban vibe, along with the flexibility to bring in vendors of our choice, so this was a great fit. We also expected 200 guests, which Space can accommodate. The owners are also very laid back, which was refreshing during an event that can be ultra stressful! Highly recommended for Denver city weddings or events! Reviewed on 21-10-2014
Turquesa Aros(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-08-2013 As a budget bride, our venue ended up being our biggest over all cost. Space Gallery allowed us to bring everything in under budget. We did have a few hiccups with the venue day-of and following the event. As previous posters mentioned, the sound system is unstable at best. Our DJ was told that they could run sound through their speakers but throughout the night, the system kept shorting out. No one seemed to be able to find specific items that we had rented previously for the day-of (and were stated and prepaid for in our contract), and no concessions were made for that. Also, we were charged for the use of linens through the venue in a post dated receipt a few weeks after the event, even though we provided our own. The linens issue was cleared up after numerous emails back and forth. All in all, a beautiful, unique venue that really could benefit from better coordination. Reviewed on 25-01-2014
Kristen Honker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-09-2012 We were looking for somewhere that provided great flexibility and was easy for guests. We loved that we could choose our own caterers, florists, music, etc. We had a final count of 80 people and if our full list of 120 had showed it would have been crowded, but we had plenty of room. The staff was good, but a little slow on responses in the planning stage. Overall, very happy to have had our wedding and reception there. Reviewed on 12-11-2012
Jessica Dewey(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2012 Space Gallery was the perfect setting for our wedding. We wanted an intimate, interesting space. It was very important that our wedding be a reflection of our personalities and be unlike any other we'd been too. The staff at Space Gallery was so easy to work with and truly helped us execute our vision. Reviewed on 12-06-2012
Irene Soesilo(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2011 Space Gallery was a perfect venue for us. It is one of our favorite art galleries in the Santa Fe Art District. The venue itself is quite large with 3 separate spaces...enough for your guests to spread out and enjoy the art work. The loft area worked out great for our photo booth and lounge/bar area. We used the large middle gallery as a casino hall and the front gallery as our dining area. It was definitely a unique space and I cannot say enough about how happy I was that we chose it as our venue. Also...we used the 'alley' entrance into the venue--it made for another unique feature of the venue with a narrow walkway, lit up above with strings of light, and opening into a surprisingly large gallery. Awesome. I would have given it 5 stars but there were some miscommunications between the gallery owner and my other vendors...resulting in a few missteps in the decoration of the reception (mostly lights not being hung up as promised within the middle gallery). It was disappointing but really...it didn't matter too much at the end of the night. All I can recommend to you is to be very specific in your instructions when communicating it to the gallery owner. Mike is great....but a little too laid back perhaps. Reviewed on 27-07-2011
Katie Lyon(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-05-2011 Everything at my wedding at the Space Gallery went pretty well. The sound system had some issues - either hire a DJ or be prepared for issues unless Mike has changed/fixed the system. They say it can hold 120-130 people. No way. I had 100 people and that was tight for dinner all in the front room. Loved the space, though. Check in before your day to see what the art is like, as we showed up and there were huge statues! \r\rLoved the unique factor this venue carried and would reccommend it to anyone who is up for a bit of diy and extra planning. Jessie steele(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-03-2011 I loved this venue. It was unique and fun. It was also a great price. The owner was awesome, the only thing was is that he showed up 10 minutes late to let us in. (It was not a huge deal) Other than that it was great. Reviewed on 06-04-2011
Carol Ann(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-01-2001 Artsy classy feeling. Reception and ceremony space. Muliple levels for cocktail hour dancing seated dining.;Storage space for rentals and the like is very small and shared by multiple events which can lead to confusion for the caterer and very little food-prep space. Make sure your caterer is aware of the setup. The sound system is archaic and counterintuitive to operate; be sure multiple know how to operate the system and don't place an iPod or other plug-ins on the metal table/sink area that the stereo sits on. The gallery only has two toilets. Break ins are not uncommon on Santa Fe--our photographer's car was broken into. The staff accused our guests of stealing artwork numbers--apparently this happens every time they hold an event. Not sure why they don't work in the $6 they charged us for them at the end of the night into the rental fee. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Reviewed on 14-02-2009
