Sparrow Beginnings is a barn wedding venue located just minutes from downtown Stillwater, OK. Situated on 30 acres of breathtaking grounds, it offers a stunning combination of indoor glamor and natural outdoor spaces. Nothing beats seeing it in person! This property is a labor of love, beginning with its purchase and creation in 2015 when all three girls were getting married. Every aspect of this rustic-luxe venue is steeped in a love of family, and since it hosts 320-400 guests, everyone can attend. Every aspect of your fairy-tale romance can be captured here, from your engagement party to the ceremony and reception. Sparrow Beginnings has a wide range of spots on site where you and your loved ones can spread your wings. Luxurious rooms are available for you and your partner to get ready in while guests mingle in the expansive climate-controlled barn or across rolling lawns. A stunning staircase and north-facing windows provide a gorgeous spot to take pictures. Chairs, tables, aisle markers, audio equipment, and even elegant centerpieces can all be provided, as well as setup and cleanup. There is both an indoor and outdoor PA system and projection screens for those who’d like to include a slideshow in the festivities. A stage can provide an ideal space for your DJ or band, and a state-of-the-art kitchen is available for your caterer of choice. Rental cottages roost on site, so you and your partner won’t have far to go to rest your heads. The premises are wheelchair accessible and provide ample parking. With a rental from 9 am to midnight and convenient payment plans, the folks at Sparrow Beginnings will help you make your wedding day take flight.

This place is stunning! Several outdoor spots to have your ceremony and they all have incredible scenery, perfect for photos. Inside is just as beautiful. Definitely recommend sunset photos here! The owners are great and super helpful if you need suggestions. Bride suite has plenty of mirrors and space for 9 girls to get ready. It was worth a little extra to get the use of their displays, centerpieces, etc.

We loved this venue and the staff! They were so helpful throughout the process and were always available for any questions we had. Price was great for us and the space is unforgettable! This venue was beautiful and provided plenty of space for our guests to feel comfortable and to celebrate with us! The space is very elegant and has lots of natural light, and there is plenty of parking. They also keep the indoors at a comfortable temperature during Oklahoma July haha. Our favorite thing to do before the ceremony was to peek through the windows from the bridal suites to get a look at everyone coming in and to see the layout from above. The suites were comfortable and the groom side even has games and entertainment centers. The staff was very kind and considerate of our requests to make our special day just how we envisioned!

It is a gorgeous location and has a great price for all that you get. Communication with the people who work there is very easy. I highly recommend using their services. Best deal in and around the Stillwater area and absolutely worth it.

Our wedding was 10/19/2019. Sparrow was the most beautiful venue around. The outdoor ceremony and indoor reception was so beautiful. Sparrow is so beautiful so not a lot of decorating needed to be done! The bridal/groom suites were the perfect place for us to get ready and was very cozy! Sparrow is very spacious. They are so easy to work and they made sure to have someone on site just in case if we needed anything the day of the wedding. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our wedding was 10/19/2019. Sparrow was the most beautiful venue around. The outdoor ceremony and indoor reception was so beautiful. The venue was absolutely beautiful! The inside has lots of tall windows that bring in natural light. Outside the venue is incredible! Lots of space for kids to run around and play games! Overall the venue is the prettiest I have seen in Oklahoma

Sparrow was a beautiful venue to have our wedding reception. We were able to seat all 300 of our guests and have plenty of room to dance and eat. Jessica and Katie are very quick to respond and very helpful. They let me come meet with them personally, answered my emails and let me look at the venue anytime I needed. We were also able to rent decorations from their decoration barn which was super helpful and a money saver. I would recommend this venue to any bride or event coordinator.

Everyone was so kind and easy to talk to. We opted to pay the $150 rental fee to use the decorations they have on site. It made things really easy on us because I didn’t have to buy or shop for anything! All of our guests talked about how beautiful the venue was.

The Sparrow was perfect for our wedding. The staff was wonderful to work with and promptly responded to all questions or concerns during the planning process. We were able to take our engagement pictures on the Sparrow grounds and visit multiple other times during the planning process to finalize anything we needed for our wedding day. I really liked how they allowed you to bring in any vendors you wanted on your special day. I think the pricing on the Sparrow is very reasonable, you get excellent customer service and the quality of the venue is remarkable. The Sparrow staff really made our wedding perfect.

My wedding at the Sparrow was a DREAM! It is the most beautiful venue i have ever been to! The space is perfect, the lighting, the entire venue is beyond words. Working with Katie was wonderful! She let me come out to view the venue and decor as many times as i wanted to! She emailed back to my questions almost immediately and was so great on the day of my wedding. She even let me in 30 minutes before the venue opened. The owners of the sparrow are genuine people and a great family who are so much fun to work with. My vendors all came together and made my wedding more than i could have ever asked for. I am so happy i chose Sparrow!

Absolutely gorgeous venue. The bridal and grooms suites upstairs are spacious and have every amenity you could ask for. The inside space is so gorgeous that it hardly needs decorating. Book Sparrow! A nice, big space for large weddings or a gigantic dance floor! The \"kitchen\" space is every caterers dream! The venue comes with beautiful, comfortable chairs that your guests will thank you for. Also, the bathrooms available for the guests are very nice with many stalls, so no lines. That never would have been something I considered til I heard guests comment on it. A BEAUTIFUL outdoor area with so many options for large and small ceremonies. Numerous places for captivating photos. The dressing rooms are spacious and a lovely, comfortable place for getting ready, also very cute for photos. The balcony was incredible, and the wall dividing the couples balcony makes for a sweet photo! They had one issue that I knew about from reading reviews (the venue creating a loud echo with sound systems) but from updates on their social pages, I know they're working to fix that. BUT MORE THAN ANYTHING, the ladies running it are the sweetest! I run into them from time to time and, 6 months following my wedding, they still remember my name and are so sweet. They were very accommodating during the whole process. THIS VENUE IS PERFECT FOR EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT. Please consider it for your event because Sparrow will not disappoint!

The Sparrow is the most beautiful venue that we looked at. I was so in love! However; the couple that run the venue are very young, and still are getting on their feet, so it seems. The woman tried to make multiple changes during the process. They weren't small changes either. They tried telling us we can't get married outside (10 days before the wedding). After confirming we can use whoever for the bartender, they came back a couple months after we hired/paid for them and said we had to use someone they had in mind. I know most couples were told to buy insurance, which is VERY expensive, even after they signed their agreements. I didn't hire a wedding planner, so the stress they put on the bride almost wasn't worth it.

I absolutely LOVED having my wedding at Sparrow. Not only were the managers super helpful and fair in their pricing, they really did care about me and how my wedding went. It goes without saying but the venue is absolutely stunning and is basically every wedding vendors dream to work a wedding at - lighting, kitchen, bridal suite, stage, etc - Sparrow has it all!! I would recommend it to anyone.

Chandler Howerton (Manager) Chandler is married to Shelby and they have two sons, Jude and Channing. He has been with Sparrow since the very beginning, so all of our clients are in great hands! Not only does Chandler live next door to Sparrow, but he is committed to doing the best job for our couples, and will go above and beyond to make your day everything you imagined it could be.
