Located in Monroe, GA, Sparrow Grove Manor is an elegant venue that hosts weddings, getaways, and other special events. Located just an hour outside Atlanta in the heart of a quaint and historic town, this property has been restored into a stunning setting for your occasion. From the dramatic staircase to the beautiful lush gardens, the romance flourishes at Sparrow Grove Manor. This classically styled Manor originally served as the home for Dr. James T. Van Horne and his family. After that, for nearly a century, it then continued functioning as a family home. However, after many renovations, this historic house was finally ready to open its doors to couples. Many of the original elements are still in place, such as the hardwood floors and wood-paneled ceilings. Modern amenities and decorations complement these historical elements, creating a truly remarkable experience for you and your guests. The Sparrow Grove Manor staff wishes to facilitate your needs and vision for your wedding celebration. Our team of experienced professionals will strive to help you bring your dreams to life. We rented out the entire bed and breakfast for our son’s wedding The bride and her bridesmaids stayed there and were treated like royalty. Delicious home cooked breakfast was to die for. Thank you for a wonderful wedding weekend. We will come back and stay again.

Wow, Sparrow Hill Inn was such a blessing. I was distraught about not being able to find affordable venues, or any venues at all really because my wedding date was so popular. I had such a good feeling about SHI that I booked them without even visiting yet. My (then) fiance found the venue online, my mother and sister-in-law visited for me, and I talked to the venue owner, Joy, on the phone and everything seemed perfect so I went right ahead. The venue is so clean, beautiful, posh, and transformable. The ceremony and reception areas are perfect for a creative bride because you can do so much with the space. Joy and her team are very, very professional and helpful. Joy may be a little hard to get a hold of sometimes, though. The venue price in itself is affordable compared to others in the area, but spending a bit more to have the venue Thursday-Sunday was definitely worth it. It's a really great value, and Joy works separately to get all the rentals. I also liked that I could bring in my own vendors.Overall, we got so many compliments on the venue, my bridal party loved staying there throughout the weekend, everyone loved the breakfast provided, and it just really felt like home. I'm so thankful for my experience there! My wedding was a dream because of this venue. My (now) husband and I are excited to have an anniversary bed and breakfast for years to come.

I had my wedding rehearsal here for about 60 people and stayed for the weekend of my wedding. The venue is unreal and so beautiful!! The staff, especially Katie, were so helpful and were so organized for our event. I would recommend using SHI for any event!!! They are amazing!! The rooms are so unique and give you so much room!! Let me tell you about the Sparrow Hill Inn.... we had our daughter's wedding there on Sat. 4.14.18 and it was spectacular!! Joy and Kimberly are the BEST!! We rented out the entire Inn for the weekend and the accommodations, the breakfast each morning and the help they did was remarkable!! If you need a venue for your wedding, I would highly recommend the Sparrow Hill Inn!! It was spectacular!! Love them!!

Let me tell you about the Sparrow Hill Inn.... we had our daughter's wedding there on Sat. 4.14.18 and it was spectacular!! Joy and Kimberly are the BEST!! We rented out the entire Inn for the weekend and the accommodations, the breakfast each morning and the help they did was remarkable!! If you need a venue for your wedding, I would highly recommend the Sparrow Hill Inn!! It was spectacular!! Love them!!

My husband and I rented all four suites for my family to stay during our son's wedding weekend. Kimberly was so gracious and helpful. At first it was going to be only my husband and myself staying on the Thursday night before. Then, we had family who wanted to come early as well to help us with the rehearsal dinner. So at the last minute, Kimberly was quick to change our reservations to accommodate us. The inn was a wonderful gathering place for my family. It was so peaceful and our family shared sweet fellowship there throughout the weekend. The suites were roomy, beautiful, and so comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was amazing! Kimberly even allowed us to invite family who were staying elsewhere to come to breakfast each morning for a small fee. This was a perfect way to start each day! My husband and I stayed on the third floor where we had the large picture window looking out on the back garden. We began our mornings there looking out and preparing for the upcoming day's events. I plan on coming back to the Sparrow Hill Inn in the future. Thanks to you all for such a special weekend! :-)

We stayed at Sparrow Hill the night before my wedding. My parents, seven bridesmaids and myself. It was superb! My parents had the upstairs bedroom. My bridesmaids and myself had two suites on the second floor. The inn is beautiful and met our needs ideally! The wedding day breakfast was delicious and Joy was an exceptional hostess! It was the perfect way to kick off my wedding weekend! Thank you!

We stayed at the Sparrow Hill Inn for my daughter's wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. We rented all four suites for two nights and had a bridal luncheon there. Every detail was taken care of with warmth and professionalism. We were able to set up a make-shift salon on the third floor where the bride and her maids/maidens were able to have their hair and make-up done (thanks to Salon Avanti in Lula) prior to a beautiful luncheon. This morning, they helped us pack up leftovers and cake and graciously accepted our leftover flowers. I can't say enough about Kimberly and her entire staff. It was on Kimberly's recommendation that we booked The Engine Room as our venue and it was an absolutely perfect place for the wedding. We are nothing but smiles and will return when we don't have a wedding to divert our attention from this phenomenal jewel of a B & B. Our wedding weekend at Sparrow Hill Inn was nothing short of perfect! The bed & breakfast is absolutely beautiful with so much southern charm. The rooms are so comfortable and are very spacious. The beds are cozy and they even left chocolates on the pillows - sweet treat! The rooms have everything you could need. The breakfast both mornings was so delicious! We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the inn which was great. Our guests had the best time! Joy was a pleasure to work with! I enjoyed getting to know her and she was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend staying at Sparrow Hill Inn to anyone. My husband and I look forward to visits for many years to come!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Sparrow Hill Inn and my bridal party and I stayed there the night before the wedding. Our experience was absolutely incredible. The space is so cozy and gave our dinner the perfect family feel. I love the character and ambiance of the whole place. We had very minimal centerpieces, but it felt so beautiful because of the ornate style of the building and the decorations. And Ms. Joy, the owner, is an absolute joy to work with :) She was so attentive and took such great care of us. The morning of the wedding she came back to cook us breakfast, and it was SOO delicious. We had two rooms the night before the wedding with 8 girls total (including myself). The next day we went down to just one room at 11:00. So we essentially had 8 girls getting ready all in one room, and it felt like plenty of space. The suites there are so big and beautiful, and once again, have so much character. The pictures we took around the property are spectacular. We had our wedding right down the block at the Cotton Warehouse, and it was so convenient. My husband and I are excited to go back and have anniversary weekends at the SHI. It will be so special to relive all of the memories. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone, especially if you are getting married at the Cotton Warehouse! Don't be discouraged if it is hard to get in contact with the owners. They are a little tricky to get a hold of at times, but we had absolutely no problems!
