Our day was AMAZING. Communication with the venue was amazing the entire time, from touring to the day after. Janine was our day of coordinator and she was so helpful, talked us through everything, gave some ideas based on what she has seen in the past, and helped plan things out. Getting married on a Thursday definitely saved us money, but since it was Veterans Day weekend, we didnât notice a difference with guests not coming or leaving. Food was AMAZING, people are still telling us about it. Our cake was included also, from Chocolate Carousel, and it was DELICIOUS.

I hosted my daughterâs , baby shower at the Spring Lake Manor. The staff and John Nagle were amazing. They were extremely accommodating, attentive, and the food was delicious, and I would recommend this venue to anyone that would like to plan a wedding or host a party. They really work with you, and, again, it is certainly an outstanding venue !!

My daughter's bridal shower, held in the Club Room was all that I had hoped it would be. The room was immaculate and tables beautifully set. The waitstaff and bartender were warm, gracious, and went out of their way at every turn . The food, delicious and plentiful. Not a single misstep.

I recently had my wedding at The Spring Lake Manor on 10.28.23 and I can not say enough nice things. Everything went perfect from start to finish, I would not complain about 1 thing. The food was amazing, the staff was super friendly, and the venue itself is beautiful. John is a hands on owner and is always there for you with any question or concerns. Our maitre'd Janine is absolutely outstanding, she is your go to girl the day of your wedding and she will make your wedding visions come true. I can not thank Janine and the rest of the staff enough for everything they did for my wedding, I already want to plan another event with them! Thank you all for the best night ever! :)

We had our sons rehearsal dinner at Spring Lake Manor the night before the wedding and everything was awesome. John is very professional and very accommodating to work with for any questions you may have or special touches you may add. The entire staff from the planning stage to the night of the event was so helpful, extremely nice and very attentive. They treated us like we were their top priority throughout the whole time we interacted. The food (dinner, appetizers and desserts) was great and everyone raved about it. The clubroom was a great private room and the ambience was great for our special event. We canât say enough about how the Spring Lake manor made our event so special!!

Overpromised and UnderdeliveredThe Spring Lake Manor was BY FAR the worst decision that I made for my wedding.First of all, despite spending ten of thousands of dollars, when you show up for your tasting the hostess will ask, âdo you know how long you are going to be here? Because I had no idea you were comingâ. My future-in-laws actually looked shocked that the hostess was so blatantly rude. Three days before the wedding, I dropped off decorations. Janine (the maĂźtre de) dropped one of my candle holders and broke it. She didnât realize that my mom watched her do this when she wasnât looking, so she thought she could get away with lying to us. She told us it was broken when she opened the box. Now the candle was worth $15, itâs not about money. I donât appreciate falsehoods told straight to my face. Itâs insulting and disrespectful. Two days before the wedding, it looks like itâs going to rain. Janine happily told us that the back deck was covered, and that photographs could be taken there. It was a lie. The back deck covering was NOT sufficient to protect against rain. As a result, my entire wedding party got wet. Janine also failed to tell us that she offered the deck because she booked two events inside. Which meant we had no where to go to protect from the rain. My mother (who did most of Janineâs job for her) complained, and thankfully we were granted access to the front hallway to take pictures at the very end of the inside event. As my entire wedding party is posing for pictures in the middle of a lobby, still half wet from Janine locking us outside, the guests from the other event walked right through our wedding party and exited the venue. By this time, my wedding guests are arriving. Janine had to sneak me, in my full wedding gown through the kitchen so they wouldnât see me. So unprofessional. Such a joke. They will claim there is no need for a rehearsal because Janine will be there. ANOTHER LIE. She gave no insight/direction pre lineup. My DJ saw us getting upset and nervous, and thankfully stepped in and did Janineâs job for her. They will claim there is no need to hire a wedding coordinator, because Janine can do the job! Another lie. If she COULD do the job of a wedding coordinator, Iâm pretty sure she would have remembered to give our Best Man the RINGS. Instead, my bridesmaid had to army crawl across the ceremony to the bridal suite to grab them. As if she had an actual goal to prove that she should work in an another industry, Janine spent the rest of the wedding missing. I wasted a half hour of my own wedding desperately asking random waiters where she was. Someone spilled a drink at out sweetheart table, and my husband and I had to desperately beg three different employes for help, because Janine was missing. Again. We ended up standing there awkwardly by the sweetheart table for 10 minutes while our food got cold. The service was so bad that the catering manager (the only competent employee in the entire establishment) took pity on us and offered to help pack up and deliver our decorations. He must be used to having to compensate for incompetence. I cannot believe that I was lied to and treated like a patron at TGI Fridays on my wedding day. John, the owner, should have considered a career in politics, as hospitality is certainly not his strong suit. When I called him to complain about the plethora of mistakes his lying employee made, he basically gave non answers and defended the deceit. The canopy that Janine told me that we could pose under? According to John, that was never weather proof! When I asked him why Janine lied to me and said otherwise (especially because I could have just went to convention hall for pictures instead), he didnât have an answer. He refunded me Janieâs $500 fee, which is literally the bare minimum he could do. When people donât do there jobs, their fee shouldnât be charged. I was not satisfied with the resolution at all. You are spending a lot of money on your wedding. You deserve to feel important and respected. With that being said, please donât make the same mistake I made!

John has worked with us for over a year and I did not have to worry about a thing! John & Janine are amazing and provided us with a wedding of our dreams! They provide you with whatever you need and really cater your wedding to what you WANT without hesitation or judgement. The food was AMAZING and all the staff was extremely pleasant and on top of it all!! I highly recommend Spring Lake Manor for your wedding!!

We are still blown away by all that Spring Lake Manor offered, provided, and is. John, Janine, and Kelly went above and beyond to help make our wedding a beautiful and blessed one. The food is excellent, the pricing and flexibility is excellent, they are excellent. I can't recommend them enough. They are so willing to customize and cater to your needs and wishes. Janine is a gifted maitre d. John is a brilliant yet generous business man. We hope to come back for another tasting or dinner. 11/10 recommend!

Thank you John, Janine, Jared, and the entire staff at Spring Lake Manor for throwing us a wedding we will never ever forget. John, your communication was consistent and direct throughout our 18 month planning process and I always felt you were available and willing to help answer any and all of our questions.Janine, there are not enough good things that Tara, myself, and our mothers could say about you. When we first met you and John gave us the option to have you as a maitre de or not to have a maitre de, both our mothers knew that we had to use you because you were so amazing and they knew youâd make our wedding night go smoothly. You were attentive to all of Taraâs messages and helped her stay calm in crunch time.Everything looked so beautiful the day of and even though we were bummed out that the weather forced cocktail hour inside, you helped us remain calm and transitioned things so smoothly. The staff was attentive all night, and our glasses were never empty and we got whatever we wanted all night long. I think I speak for all of our guests when I say this is a 5 star establishment with true professionals. Thank you so much for everything.

You will not be disappointed when you choose the SLM. John is super easy and accommodating to work with. You will get a wedding coordinator, Janine, who is so detail oriented and was on top of everything. Then the amazing staff who were amazing. I have had a ton of compliments since our wedding on how nice it was! And the food! Wow! Way better than other wedding venues I have been at, people were raving about the food! Thank you John, Janine, and the whole staff for making our day amazing! We will definitely use you in the future for other events when we have a need!

We held our wedding here, July 23. At first we spoke to John, and he seemed to be very accommodating. We had a reschedule for Covid-19, and they were absolutely great about the entire process. We scheduled our wedding reception for the larger ball room.Things didn't start to go bad until the day of the food tasting. We were asked if we wanted to do the cocktail hour in the tent outside. We didn't want that. They told us that we were going to have cocktail hour in the room in front of our reception, and that we would have the smaller bar for a private cocktail hour for the wedding party. The morning of our wedding, my wife was using the room downstairs to get ready, and the woman who handles the party briefly mentions to her that we are going to do a combined cocktail hour in the small bar(she didn't fully understand what they were really saying as she was getting her makeup done). I didn't find this out until we arrived at the reception hall. This was not what we agreed to. By the time I found out many of our guests were already packed into the small bar like sardines ( mind you, my dj was not set up in that room). None of our plans were executed the way we discussed. We had candies with our names on them, they were randomly put in bowls in odd places. I tried to let it go, then we were announced, did our first dance. We were told to sit for our first course right afterwards and everyone, all our guests were sitting for about 20 minutes with boring dinner music playing( the dj was very confused at this point as he and i had a conversation about it and he was told food was coming...) and finally salads were served. I feel like the whole thing was poorly executed by the staff. The outdoor area was filthy, i was told that the area could be used for smokers, and that it would be set up for our guests. I felt like we were rushed, and at the end i was moving boxes into my truck while the tables were being cleared 5 seconds after it was over. I felt like we were promised a lot and they failed to deliver. The food was excellent. But the overall experience seemed rushed, and disorganized.

Working with Janine is like having an extremely friendly extremely organized wedding planner with no added cost and absolutely no added stress.The venue itself is gorgeous, we got married in the ballroom and they quickly and seamlessly turned it around for our amazing reception while we were in the cocktail hour. We cannot say enough about how amazing and delicious the food is during both the cocktail hour and the reception and thanks to Janine all the timing was great.The place has great pricing, John is an absolute delight to work with. Every single time we called or came in with questions or updates we got what felt like VIP treatment. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception AND after party in the same location is such a nice bonus because all our guests really enjoyed every part of it start to finish. The Spring Lake Manor was a dream location to have our wedding! From our first look, we decided to book on the spot. The staff and management of the Manor went above and beyond to ensure our day was a dream, from booking to wedding day. We planned the wedding ourselves and were amazed at how much SLM did to make the day truly special. SLM has center pieces available for use, which were elegant and perfect for the event. Management was available any time we needed them throughout planning and helped solve any issue that arose. Due to the size of our party, we were able to use both the Atlantic Room for the cocktail hour and the Ballroom for the reception. This allowed us to provide guests with an elegant transition to the reception and dancing. SLM has had updates completed and the space was perfect. The outdoor terrace was a wonderful addition to the party! We were in no shortage of photo locations, but still recommend using the Photo Booth!We utilized the Bridal Suite to get ready and were well attended if we needed coffee or anything else. The space lead to a fun way to spend the morning before the wedding. While we were getting ready, SLM went to our off-site ceremony location (Huisman Gazebo in Belmar) to set up chairs and decorations. After the ceremony, the Manor handled packing up the Gazebo, making the day worry-free.Special diets were accommodated to ensure all of our guests enjoyed themselves. The food was AMAZING â we are still receiving compliments! Two bars allowed for quick service at the open bar. The staff was kind, quick, and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend the SLM enough as a wedding venue. The entire day went off without a hitch and the Manor made sure to work with all of our vendors to iron out details (such as setting up) without making us deal with those factors. It was stress-free and absolutely the best day of our lives!!

Expectations were high from our friends with me being a florist and my husband being a chef. Many of the guests were in the restaurant business, and knew what to look for. Spring Lake Manor did an AMAZING job on our recent August wedding. We had a daytime wedding with a 12PM-5 reception. For the entire year of planning, John and his staff were very responsive to all emails and calls. As a nervous bride, I had lots of questions as well as minor changes to our wedding day, but SLM was as flexible as can be with everything. I never felt like I was bothering anyone with my questions.On our first visit, John suggested many different ceremony and picture sites in the area. Since I was not a local, that really helped. We had our ceremony offsite at the Huisman gazebo in Belmar. The site was set up beautifully with the chairs and aisle markers, and they even passed out programs and bubbles to our guests. They set up the ballroom perfectly as well. It was everything I wanted and more--so beautiful! The food is fantastic and our guests are still talking about it. We chose NY Strip Steak, Chicken Francese, and Honey-Dijon glazed Salmon for the entrees. We had a couple staff members tending to my husband and I throughout the entire reception to make sure our needs were met, even refilling our drinks all afternoon so that we didn't have to take a minute out of our partying to visit the bar. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves and I look back on that day often and just smile. It was well worth the crazy year of planning. Thanks SLM for your patience and for making us feel like VIPs!

We were looking for a charming venue to have a small wedding reception, but it was very important that it was affordable. The Spring Lake Manor went above and beyond! Not only was the booking process painless, but they also provided us with flexible options which included having a local bakery make our delicious cake. We had a lovely reception for two hours in the Grille Room. It was festively decorated for Fall, and we also had the ability to add our touches as well. The food was outstanding and is still being talked about today. From the beginning, the staff made sure that everything was taken care of for us. We had an issue before the wedding and because Janine (the maĂźtre d) is a problem solver, everything worked out. She instantly took out wedding planning stress away. We had our Dream Wedding at the Spring Lake Manor on Nov. 9, 2013. All we wanted was a small, intimate wedding to celebrate our special day with our closest family and friends with the prestige of having a full Reception/cocktail and room for DJ/Dancing. In NJ that is nearly impossible to find. I was heartbroken that we may have to compromise our dreams to get married. We were fortunate to find the Spring Lake Manor. The owner John Nagle and his wonder staff made our dreams come true. Using their smaller rooms, we were able to have the Ceremony/Reception there where we partied all night long. From our first meeting with John to the very end of our wedding night we were continuously amazed. First of all the place is Beautiful! They have beautiful water/fire features out front and fountain our back, very modern bathrooms, The Grill rm, (used for our cocktail) has a very relaxed lounge type atmosphere, The Atlantic rm(used for our Ceremony/Reception) has a modern beachy feel. For larger parties, The ball rm was very impressive. 2nd the food was AMAZING! I cannot stress this enough. AMAZING! My Guest are still talking about how impressed they were by the Taste, Quality and amount of food. Nobody left hungry! Both the food at cocktail and food at dinner was SO good (my husband and I are Foodies, and are hard to impress) We had the NY Sirloin and Cedar plank Salmon as our food options and they were both Delicious! Very impressed that all the yummy steak dinners came out simultaneously and were all cooked perfectly. Kudos to the all the Chefs! I canât wait to go back there for dinner! Lastly, but most importantly the Staff at the Manor. They are an amazing group of people that helped make our dreams come true. Many guest have told us how wonderful the staff was to them, and I thank you for that. John made sure everything was going smoothly. Every time I saw him he always made sure I was happy and assured me that if there was anything I needed he would make it happen. During the planning I was having an issue with one of my other vendors, with a quick email I told him my situation and almost instantaneously he responded back with a âIâm all over it, no worriesâ and He and His staff took care of it, Thank you John, Janine and Kristen! I even got follow up emails/calls to make sure the issue was resolved ï They are also very responsive to any detailed questions you may have. Kristen was so helpful during the planning. Whenever we had a question concerning the planning, she would respond to my emails immediately, which is quite a relief with so many unresponsive vendors out there. Amanda did an amazing job bringing it all together. Although not our original coordinator, Amanda took charge of the wedding and she did a wonderful job! From getting me champagne when I arrived, decorating, coordinating the events of the day and all the jobs that Iâm sure I donât know about to make the day run so smoothly, thanks a million! The wait staff and bus boys were Fantastic. Guest commented on nice/friendly and how well coordinated food was severed. Personally, I know I always had a drink in my hand and was found when my food was served thanks to them. We also had a wonderful bartender that made PERFECT drinks! There are no words to express the gratitude I have for John and the staff at the Spring Lake Manor. All I can do is to continue to recommend the Spring Lake Manor to others, as they will make your dreams come true!

We had our Dream Wedding at the Spring Lake Manor on Nov. 9, 2013. All we wanted was a small, intimate wedding to celebrate our special day with our closest family and friends with the prestige of having a full Reception/cocktail and room for DJ/Dancing. In NJ that is nearly impossible to find. I was heartbroken that we may have to compromise our dreams to get married. We were fortunate to find the Spring Lake Manor. The owner John Nagle and his wonder staff made our dreams come true. Using their smaller rooms, we were able to have the Ceremony/Reception there where we partied all night long. From our first meeting with John to the very end of our wedding night we were continuously amazed. First of all the place is Beautiful! They have beautiful water/fire features out front and fountain our back, very modern bathrooms, The Grill rm, (used for our cocktail) has a very relaxed lounge type atmosphere, The Atlantic rm(used for our Ceremony/Reception) has a modern beachy feel. For larger parties, The ball rm was very impressive. 2nd the food was AMAZING! I cannot stress this enough. AMAZING! My Guest are still talking about how impressed they were by the Taste, Quality and amount of food. Nobody left hungry! Both the food at cocktail and food at dinner was SO good (my husband and I are Foodies, and are hard to impress) We had the NY Sirloin and Cedar plank Salmon as our food options and they were both Delicious! Very impressed that all the yummy steak dinners came out simultaneously and were all cooked perfectly. Kudos to the all the Chefs! I canât wait to go back there for dinner! Lastly, but most importantly the Staff at the Manor. They are an amazing group of people that helped make our dreams come true. Many guest have told us how wonderful the staff was to them, and I thank you for that. John made sure everything was going smoothly. Every time I saw him he always made sure I was happy and assured me that if there was anything I needed he would make it happen. During the planning I was having an issue with one of my other vendors, with a quick email I told him my situation and almost instantaneously he responded back with a âIâm all over it, no worriesâ and He and His staff took care of it, Thank you John, Janine and Kristen! I even got follow up emails/calls to make sure the issue was resolved ï They are also very responsive to any detailed questions you may have. Kristen was so helpful during the planning. Whenever we had a question concerning the planning, she would respond to my emails immediately, which is quite a relief with so many unresponsive vendors out there. Amanda did an amazing job bringing it all together. Although not our original coordinator, Amanda took charge of the wedding and she did a wonderful job! I had my wedding luncheon at the Spring Lake Manor just last month on the 20th and it was a wonderful experience. It is very appealing location. The outside has a nice waterfall and beautiful flowers which are great for taking pictures. Inside it is amazing. The charm of the mansion definitely shows. John and his staff were excellent throughout the whole process. They were able to cater to all of my needs. The food was presented perfectly and the taste exceeded our expectations. My guests all enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend this facility and would also use it again in the future for other events.

I was not disappointed! They acted on extremely short notice and never indicated my lack of planning presented any obstacles for them. We opted for a cocktail party and the selections of hors d'oeuvres were terrific along with additional chafing dishes which we included. The food was exceptional and the staff over the top! The idea that linens, tables, bar and bar tenders, servers, chef....everything.....could be handled with just one phone call made the experience 5*. I can't wait to host another party and I'd never consider it without Spring Lake Manor handling it all!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Spring Lake Manor and we could not be happier. We had roughly 60 people at it and John and his staff did an exceptional job providing endless passed hors d'oeuvres, a great buffet style dinner, delicious desserts and they provided all the linens, flowers, etc to make the room look warm and inviting. We highly recommend the Spring Lake Manor for any events you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the venue is beautiful and the food is great!!!!!

We had roughly 60 people at it and John and his staff did an exceptional job providing endless passed hors d'oeuvres, a great buffet style dinner, delicious desserts and they provided all the linens, flowers, etc to make the room look warm and inviting. We highly recommend the Spring Lake Manor for any events you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the venue is beautiful and the food is great!!!!!

I had a great expierence dealing with the Manor. Everyone was very helpful and the day turned out beautiful. My only complaint is that they did cut us short on time by about 30 mins. Doesn't seem like a big deal but I paid for the whole amount of time and confirmed with her the times and the planner still took advatage of the situation. The food is amazing and the location great!

We were recommended to Spring Lake Manor and couldn't be happier with the results. We had an outdoors wedding at a BnB and Spring Lake Manor catered it for us. Right from the beginning we knew we went to the right place. John was full of ideas and helped walk us through the whole process making our experience easy. Their food is delicious as well. Our guests loved the dishes and we couldn't recommend them higher.

First off my, rehearsal dinner was supposed to be here on Aug. 26th. Due to hurricane Irene we had to postpone the wedding....John was very accommodating and offered for us to have the wedding there any time we wanted at a great deal....(also Issued me my deposit money immediately!!!!) When we finally moved forward with a Sept 30th wedding, We gave John and Spring Lake Manor a call, and as usual...John was more than accommodating....Gave us his best Grille Room...Staff was Fast and Friendly...Food was delicious...and the price was right...\r'\rThanks John for everything...Can't wait to use you guys again in the near future.

We were able to have both the ceremony and reception in one place. Also we were the only wedding there that day. They were also very willing to accomodate our themed wedding.;The 'wedding planner' they have there is horrible. She had no idea what was supposed to be going on all night.
