My husband and I chose Springdale Station as our wedding venue because of the location and the versatility of the space. My main points of contact were Kayla and Moya. Both were professional and kind throughout the entire planning process. The venue was going through some changes that affected our event and Moya worked with us to ensure our vision was kept on track. We opted to use the talented in-house florist, Native Botanicals, which was one of our best decisions. Having someone who knows the space and can provide recommendations based on that knowledge was a game changer. Reviewed on 09-01-2024

Springdale Station is such a beautiful venue! We used minimal decor, mainly LED candles and greenery at the tables, and our wedding was stunning! Our guests enjoyed taking photos all over the grounds. We loved that we could have our ceremony and reception in one place. Kayla was super responsive during the planning process, and helped make our day as easy and gorgeous as possible! Reviewed on 12-12-2023

We recently celebrated our wedding at Springdale Station, and we are incredibly appreciative of the experience we had. We highly recommend this space for your event. The moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its beauty and charm. The venue's unique structure effortlessly complemented any decoration, allowing us to bring our dream wedding vision to life seamlessly. What stood out most was the exceptional variety of options the venue offered. From multiple ceremony locations, indoor and outdoor, as well as two spacious rooms for different parts of the events. The flexibility allowed us to customize every aspect of our day, making it uniquely tailored to us. The venue's team was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and kind.We can't recommend this venue enough for anyone seeking the perfect place to celebrate their special day. From the start Springdale understood who we are and what we wanted in a venue. We were looking for a venue close to the Airport, Mid-Century Modern, with Indoor/Outdoor elements, and a vaulted ceiling for our 70 guests. When we went to the open house, we immediately fell in love with the Springdale team, especially Kayla, who bounced back and forth with our ideas and was so excited for what our wedding could be.They allowed us to tour the venue multiple times with different family members, and even sent us beautiful flowers when we booked the venue. Springdale as a whole was very accepting of all of the quirky things we wanted to do, like having a full size Dance Dance Revolution Arcade cabinet (Some venues scoffed at the idea). We just felt accepted and at home here, this was the place we wanted to forever represent our marriage after over 10 years of dating. The space they provided had so much potential between having an outdoor space to bring in a Boba Truck, a nice overhead train truss to have our ceremony under, and the beautiful white room, which bounced light off expertly for our videographer/photographer.Post Wedding: We really enjoyed that Springdale Station is such a big part of the Austin community, how many people can say that they can go back and revisit their venue, as they hose frequent local artists, vendors, non-profits, and so much more. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a downtown Austin locale that gives back to the community, and can host well over 100.Here is a video sneak peak of our wedding to show off how we utilized Springdaleâs space: https://youtu.be/X08u4GbzjSw Reviewed on 13-08-2023

We had a fantastic wedding at Springdale Station. Coordination with the staff was easy. They were responsive to our requests and questions. One of the things that is nice is that they have a list of approved/preferred vendors which is a good middle ground between an all inclusive venue and a venue where you have to figure out everything yourself. Additionally, there was a list of vendors they would not work with and it was clear why those decisions were made. The venue is as gorgeous as it looks in pictures. The grounds are very well kept and the style of the venue itself is great. It is the right type of weathered: it looks old, but is very well put together. We had about 110 guests, which is close to the upper limit for the white ceremony room. Even then, it did not look cramped. The additional furniture sets were very much appreciated by our guests. There is a brewery next door, but we did not have any noise issue for our Friday wedding. I do recommend having the blocking screen if you want more privacy, though. There are plenty of Airbnbs in the area, but if guests want a hotel, they will likely need to stay south of the river or in downtown Austin. We highly recommend the venue and its staff! :) Reviewed on 23-07-2023

I had my dream wedding at Springdale Station! The entire process of booking, coordinating with vendors, and day of logistics was flawless. The venue itself has a romantic industrial modern vibe that we loved and fit our vision perfectly. We went to several of the open houses which really showcased the potential of the venue. We had about 100 guests and the space was perfect. They have a versatile set up that saved us on our wedding day when it rained and we had to move everything inside. The location was easy for my guests to get to from their lodging in central Austin and close to where we stayed for our wedding night downtown. We decided to add on some of the furniture sets they had which were really popular, as well as the yard games that our guests loved. If I had to do everything all over again, I would still go with Springdale Station! Reviewed on 23-06-2023

Kymberlie Quong-Charles(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-11-2022 We've been to zillions of weddings in Austin, but never at Springdale Station. It was the first -- and ultimately ONLY -- venue that we visited! We know immediately that it was the right one for us.Even going through a staff transition, communication, record-keeping etc. were all extremely smooth. We ended up moving our original date and it was handled very quickly. One of the primary reasons we chose Springdale was for the ability to have most of our event outdoors, but an easy solution if we needed to move indoors without incurring extra costs. As it turned out, the temperature plummeted on the weekend we got married and we moved everything but the ceremony itself inside. Because the space is so beautiful to begin with, moving inside did not cause us to compromise on any of our design and aesthetic plans. We also loved Springdale because for its size and proximity to downtown Austin, it was very reasonably priced. We did not want out of town guests to have to rent cars, nor did we want any guests having to drive (after partying) a distance. It also made doing walk throughs and quick stop-overs in preparation so much easier that if we had chosen an out of town venue.FINALLY, we LOVE spending our money with women-owned and operated businesses. Initially, they took the time to talk us through the options of turnkey vs not - eventually decided to do it ourselves. They were helpful in recommending vendors and answering questions quickly as they came up. Most notably, when the weather turned cold and rainy a few days before our wedding, they worked with us to update our rain plan to make it into what we wanted. Really went above and beyond to work with us and coordinate with all vendors of changes. Everything turned out wonderfully and the venue was beautiful. Reviewed on 30-11-2022
Michael Yancey(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 Simply amazing, they do 12 hour rentals so we were able to have a 2pm-2am rental (grand exit was at 12:55). The grounds are amazing, we did an outdoor ceremony and a mix of indoor and outdoor for seating. The max they have for inside is ~220 which would definitely be pushing it. Super easy to work with the staff (Kayla and day of was Yazmin). Oh and the one slight downside is that the getting ready area is just an airstream trailer and would be pretty tight for a bridal party of 5+, we just got ready at our house/bnb located near the venue. Hillary Gomez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2021 I cannot recommend this venue or its turnkey package enough! We had our wedding there almost two weeks ago and all I have heard is how wonderful the venue and vendors were since then. This venue is simple, laid back and classy. We wanted a venue that wasnât too overdone but still had a good aesthetic. This venue has its own aesthetic but could definitely be transformed to fit any style. The rooms and outdoor area flow together perfectly so you really feel like youâre using the whole space. They also have a really cool airstream they just renovated that can be used for the bride to get dressed in. I do have to wax poetic a bit about the turnkey package and how much of a difference it made to our wedding. The way their turnkey package works is there are certain vendors that must be used. That would be the florist, the caterer, the rentals and the day-of-planner. The required vendors are top notch and ones I would have picked anyway. Then you can add on certain vendors such as the DJ, photobooth, etc. to include. Moya takes care of all of the contracts, the deposits, and the communication with the vendors. I cannot stress enough how amazing this was, especially planning from another state. I donât think our wedding would have been the same without Moya. She offered great suggestions, always was quick to respond and overall, just was a huge asset. She was very easy to work with and I felt she really put a lot of effort into making sure our wedding turned out well. She really went above and beyond. If you pick this venue, I really recommend the turnkey package, even if you live in Texas. That said, I am sure Moya would be just as easy to work with if you want to bring in your own vendors. What was meant to be a cozy winter wedding ended up shifting to a summer wedding during the hottest part of the year. Springdale Station turned out to have been an ideal choice for us because we were able to seamlessly shift our plans from one season to another. They have abundant indoor space for small to medium weddings, and could even fit a large wedding if youâre smart about flipping rooms. Then if the weatherâs nice, you can take advantage of their spacious outdoor areas. There are multiple spots for lovely ceremonies (we chose to go outside under the railway awning but the small white room was our backup choice for bad weather and would have looked equally lovely). The staff was incredibly helpful when we have to reschedule, throughout the whole process and the day of. I loved the flow of the space and the careful attention to decor and detail made for a beautiful event. Their in-house furniture package and additional add-on options were totally worth it and they clearly take great care when choosing things to add to their collection. They have a separate space that serves as a bridal suite, and though it is fairly petite it did have a separate bathroom which was a godsend. I do wish they had a spot for a groomâs suite as we ended up feeling a little crammed in, but I think they might be working on something along those lines though as we speak! Neil Labrador(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-05-2021 Springdale Station is a unique and beautiful venue. When my wife and I were on the search for our wedding venue, she wanted something primarily outdoors. I am not a fan of the heat (even more so Texas heat), so I wanted something indoors.. WITH AIR CONDITIONER, especially since I was wearing 5 layers that day. When we toured Springdale, we fell in love. It combined the huge outdoors that my wife wanted and the cool indoors that I wanted. It also had the industrial look both my wife and I were looking for. The backstory to the place was also interesting. There was ample enough room outdoors for outside games (which we brought but you can rent from them as well) and had these cool, well lit lights all around. And the indoors had this long, unique look and feel to it. It allowed for separation of rooms, which in our case, we did a dance floor and a dining area. Both our parents were the old school ballroom type and didn't like the idea of separating the dance floor and the dining area. But during reception day, they changed their minds. Separating the two allowed for partying and intimacy on one side, and relaxing and conversing on the other. The bar was set right in the middle which worked out great for both rooms. Hannah was also super nice, helpful, and informative. I definitely highly recommend this place! Reviewed on 10-07-2021

The moment we toured, we knew we wanted to get married there! It is affordable, in a unique part of town, and is just beautiful! I could not recommend Springdale Station enough! Kathleen See(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2020 This venue was perfect for our COVID-wedding! We had plenty of room to keep everyone at a safe distance during the ceremony and the reception following, and the extra outdoor space was perfect to give everyone a break from inside and spread out. Springdale Station actively communicated shifts in requirements and what they were doing to adhere to them.Highly recommend this venue for larger and non-traditional weddings! The only downside is the parking lot size, so I'd recommend ride share coupons for your guests. Reviewed on 08-07-2020
Pilar Muner(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 My partner and I selected Springdale for our 'love party' aka wedding. Moya, Hannah and her team were incredibly easy to work with. Pricing was incredibly straight forward, with so many great add-ons that we opted to leveraged (staged lounges, games, chairs, privacy screen etc.) Their communication was easy as can be, and Moya is such a wonderful person. I just really enjoyed working with her and I can tell she puts so much care into her work and having Springdale be this beautiful place for events of all kinds. Springdale Station is a beautiful venue. What drew us to pick SS was the large outdoor/indoor areas and the unique charm it had. I loved the way they perfectly preserved the beautiful aesthetic and train vibes with a more modern/elegant look. The outdoor area was perfect for the photo van and also outdoor games, station and of course, our ceremony. The layout is so ideal because it has such a large indoor space (in case it rains) that can accommodate many people in different areas. We leveraged the white room for dancing, the middle room for drinks/lounge area and the upper room for seats and toasts. I would definitely recommend the privacy screen for the ceremony if you are doing it outdoors and all of the add-ons are incredibly easy to leverage and are in great condition. I would recommend this venue over and over again to friends for everything from a wedding to corporate events, it is just so easy and fun. We could not have loved our experience more. During our wedding planning process, we got updates about added features and improvements at the venue that we would get to take advantage of. Springdale Station has Austin vibes, historic vibes, but is somewhat of a blank canvas to complement any style. I got tons of compliments from my guests about on the space. It was a great experience. We had a wedding party of around 100 guests and the space was perfect. Our ceremony was outside and dinner and dancing inside afterwards. We particularly loved that you could have all festivities inside with the option of being outside if the weather is nice. Springdale Station is incredibly beautiful and does not need a lot of decoration, which fit with our fresh, minimalist vision for the wedding, as well as our budget. Springdale was one of the only venues we looked at where we could customize our options for food and decorations (for instance, we did our own flowers). Moya also worked with our schedule and desire to have a late night dance party - with guests there until 1am. We highly recommend Springdale as a wedding venue. Reviewed on 14-09-2019

We got married in the spring, and having the space outside for people to hangout was amazing as well. Morgan Allyn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-12-2018 Springdale Station is centrally located and boasts historic charm along with modern architectural details. It is a win-win if you're looking for a venue that is close to the city and still feels spacious and \"open.\" The details are what make this venue so special. My husband and I were married here in early December 2018. We planned to have an outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception. Then the skies opened (constant rain for what felt like 48 hours) and we had to move the ceremony inside. Luckily, the venue has the perfect space for an intimate indoor ceremony (110 guests) and I didn't have to stress a single bit! Moya, the venue owner, is truly wonderful. Not only did she respond to every.single.one. of my emails and texts, but she was a calming force throughout the entire planning process. (Did I mention that we were planning from Atlanta?) Our family and friends really loved the opportunity to check out Austin Eastciders before the ceremony and had no problems getting rideshares after our event. There is a wealth of parking (two lots) and my understanding is that the venue is now offering some gorgeous in-house furniture as well. We never had a line form for the restrooms and had plenty of space for multiple DJ set-ups. I would not hesitate to book Springdale Station and Moya again in the future. If you are considering this venue, go check it out! Our wedding was spectacular and I wouldn't have traded our venue or the folks we worked with (here's lookin' at you, Moya) for the world! The features of the space, especially the elegant light fixtures and windows, made our wedding day so cozy and memorable. The staff was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. Moya would reach out on a regular basis with updates about offerings at the space. She was quick with responses for my many many questions. We were happy to enjoy the furniture rentals for much less than if we had brought them in from elsewhere. The lounge space really elevated the reception and aided in our hopes for an intimate feeling. I'd definitely recommend this space for an easy, chic and lovely wedding day. Reviewed on 02-03-2019

Bridget Byrd(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2018 Springdale Station was my top selection for a wedding venue space in Austin. I had visited the station many times before for other events and it held a special quality for us, as a couple, that other places didnât. I am beyond thrilled and grateful for how everything fell into place in the months, weeks and days before the wedding . Moya and Collin, owners of the Station, were amazing to work with and answered all of my questions. They were easy to reach, responsive and also had clear guidelines of how best to utilize the space. It was important to me to be able to have enough space for our large guest list (approximately 250), and I dreamed of being able to have the ceremony outside by the tree. Springdale Station was perfect because even if it had rained, I had a plan B to have the ceremony inside in the beautiful new inside addition to the station. Luckily the rain only came in the middle of the night before the wedding, so we were able to have the ceremony outside. A dream come true!It was easy for the vendors to work with the space - the crowd flow was excellent and my favorite local band from Austin performed in the large indoor space. So much space to dance and reunite with friends and loved ones. Neil, the site manager, was incredibly professional and helpful throughout our day. He provided good guidance to my coordinator with information to help our team with set up and break down. I have only the best things to say about Springdale Station and the team there. I would do it all again there, in a heartbeat - in fact, I wish I could :)Thank you to Springdale Station!!! Reviewed on 29-12-2018

The Station's central location was perfect and I fell in love with the historical buildings and modern fixtures as soon as I saw them. I can't count how many of our guests came up to comment during the evening to tell us how cool our venue was! We initially planned to utilize the grounds outside with a cocktail hour, games, and a food truck, however our wedding weekend turned out to be particularly freezing for the time of year and we had to make a day-of adjustment to our plans. Thankfully, this was no problem at the Station as there was plenty of room to move inside and we were able to easily adjust to keep guests comfortable! The space was exactly what we were looking for in terms of elegance and style but different enough from every other wedding site. The Station was the perfect canvas for our design centered wedding where we wanted to create a vibe that was modern and romantic. There was no shortage of space for us to move our guests around throughout the evening. We hosted a pre-wedding ceremony happy hour in the outdoor patio, the ceremony in the big white room, and the dinner in the larger ballroom. It rained the weekend of our wedding and we had planned to have the ceremony outdoors. Our wedding planner told us we had THE BEST rain plan ever. In fact, I'm glad we moved the ceremony from the outdoors to inside! Moya was a joy to work with. She made herself available for onsite visits with vendors, answered our emails in a timely fashion, and brought ideas to the table when we needed help thinking through a planning challenge. The flexibility in bringing in our selected vendors helped create the vision we had for our wedding. It ensures every wedding is different and unique to each couple. Springdale Station checked off all the boxes for us in our venue search. Itâs a short drive from downtown hotels, so itâs convenient for out-of-town guests. It has a lot of outdoor and indoor spaces, so you can configure the layout to your needs/wants. And itâs a blank slate, but with a few elements that make it feel historical and unique. We didnât feel like the space needed a lot of decoration, but if thatâs your thing then itâs a great canvas to work with.We recommend shuttling guests to the venue because the parking deck is usually full from the rock climbing gym and the brewery next door. The bridal suite was too small for me to get ready with friends, but it was super nice to have when waiting between phases of the event ... first look, portraits, ceremony cocktail hour. For reference, we had 120 guests. The ceremony was in the original space (the smaller, white room). Cocktail hour was in the navy space between rooms. Seated dinner was in the new building. Ceremony space flipped to be the dance floor and photo booth. We kept everything inside because it was in February. Reviewed on 12-07-2018

I have been an event professional in different capacities throughout my life. I cut my teeth as a Development Director and Event Manager for a private school that I started and ran for 12 years. In this role, I created galas and fundraisers every year with 400 guests at each event featuring multi-course dinners, entertainment, and auctions. I then went on to help start Vuka, an event venue in South Austin which introduced me to the wedding industry. After getting that space off the ground, I branched off on my own to start Springdale Station, this beautiful new wedding venue in East Austin.
