The venue is stunning, spacious, and offers unbelievable amenities such as ponds for fishing, cornhole, tennis, and even basketball courts. They offer accommodations at the Estate House EXCLUSIVELY for Spruce Mountain couples, which gives you private access on the day of your wedding through the back gate! This is John from the CO wedding/corporate band, HomeSlice. We have been playing weddings for over 20 years and have performed at most of CO’s top wedding venues all over the state. With that said, Spruce Mountain Ranch is our favorite! The staff and the venue are the best! The venue is in a gorgeous setting that is perfect for wedding photos. You get a destination wedding location without driving 3 hours into the mountains. The place is always immaculately clean and has always had everything functioning perfectly. The layout of the property allows both the upper and lower venues to have their own special ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations without the two different potential wedding parties on the ranch ever seeing or hearing each other. You get your own massive area to celebrate your day. Both the upper and lower venues are setup to incorporate indoor and outdoor spaces that flow together. If I was planning my daughter’s wedding, I would definitely try to grab the date at Spruce Mountain Ranch. I hope my personal experience playing hundreds of CO weddings can help encourage you to check out Spruce Mountain.

I LOVE SPRUCE! As a wedding planner, I get to work in a lot of places, and Spruce is one of my all time favorites. From a logistical perspective, they have carefully and thoughtfully places guidelines in place in order to execute some of my best events. All of their staff is so kind knowledgeable, and helpful. They feel a like a warm hug to be around and work with. They are so good to all of their couples and have some of the most beautiful property that caters to so many different taste and aesthetics. I've had very elegant brides and very rustic brides that are all so happy with Spruce. Truly a quintessential Colorado Wedding Venue. You will be SO happy if you choose Spruce to be your venue!

We LOVED Spruce from the moment we drove onto the property! It is such a pretty venue that has something for everyone. We had a couple communication problems, but overall were pleased with our experience. Ryann was AMAZING and if you get him as your property manager, you are in very good hands. All of our guests thought this was an amazing venue. They have a couple required vendors who were easy to work with and all of their recommended vendors were easy to work with as well. If we had to pick our wedding venue again, we would definitely go with Spruce.

Spruce Mountain Ranch was the most magical venue we ever saw in our venue search. Everything about working with them was a breeze and stress free. The staff is incredibly attentive and so easy to work with. They were super accommodating to all our needs throughout the wedding planning process. We had our wedding on the Upper Ranch and had so many great views and photo opportunities for us and our guests. We used Trey’s Vista for our Ceremony, Spruce room for cocktail hour, and Ponderosa room for our reception. Everything flowed beautifully and our guests loved it! Spruce Mountain Ranch and the team will forever have a special place in our hearts.

Spruce Mountain was absolutely amazing from our first venue tour to the end of our wedding night! All of the staff was very kind and responsive to questions throughout our planning process and the venue is just plain gorgeous!! On our wedding day they were so on top of things and at the end of the night my parents were extremely impressed at how thoroughly and carefully they packed up the decor and other items we had brought to the venue that day. I would highly recommend Spruce Mountain to anyone looking for a mountain vibe venue that's easy to get to from Denver or Colorado Springs!

Wow, wow, wow!! From the moment we toured the property to the last moment of our wedding day, we were blown away by the care and effort given by the Spruce Mountain Ranch team. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking, but Tara and the staff are second-to-none! They will make sure you're taken care of and your day is perfect. We were planning on having our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, but due to the rain, we made some slight changes to the day. You would never know that was plan B, because the indoor space was gorgeous and the staff made it such a smooth transition. With the rolling foothills, stone fireplaces, and beautiful setting, we couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. If you're looking for a memorable venue, incredible staff, and an overall amazing wedding experience, choose Spruce Mountain Ranch!!! Thanks Tara + team!

We LOVED Spruce Mountain for every single aspect. The beauty is unparalleled; the staff is responsive and thoughtful; the organization is perfect. We were married at the “Mountainside” ceremony site and had the reception in Alberts Lodge. I think it’s really important to review how they handled my concerns: 1) Accessibility (Grandparent who can’t walk well) - they used their shuttle to bring her right up to the ceremony site and back down2) weather - it was 50/50 on rain and we rolled the dice, and lost haha. It ended up raining but the staff was amazing and super helpful! Also, they had the inside (Alberts Lodge) fully set up as well - in case we wanted to use it for the backup. It was really beautiful! I have no regrets about being outside - even in the sleet/rain/wind!! The views were worth it. 3) parking/guests being directed to the wrong area - there was also a wedding in the Upper Ranch and we didn’t see or hear a single thing from them. Iit is essentially a separate venue that just happens to also be owned by Spruce. 0 issues here. Overall, I was incredibly happy with Spruce Mountain Ranch as our ceremony and reception venue!!

If you're looking for a dream mountain wedding without the headache, logistics, and major cost of actual Summit County, look no further than Spruce Mountain Ranch. And actually, it's better than the mountain venues for many reasons. I deeply and thoroughly vetted and visited many venues for our wedding, and Spruce stood out as the best from very early on. Post-wedding, it is hands down the best decision we made for our day. Spruce staff is incredible, so helpful, and the venue is simply one of the most beautiful places in the State. It has everything you need, they have backup plans for their backup plans, the day of staff went above and beyond for us, there were zero issues the entire day that they couldn't fix or solve instantly. I truly cannot say enough about Spruce and how much we loved it. People who came to our wedding just rave about how awesome it was. We chose the Upper Ranch and I could not have been happier with how everything went. If you're torn about where to get married, stop looking and book Spruce Mountain Ranch.

We recently had our wedding at the Upper Ranch at Spruce Mountain Ranch (October 2022) and cannot recommend it enough for your wedding or event. Our experience with Spruce Mountain dates back to late September 2021 when we first reached out to the venue. They were quick to respond and we visited within days. We worked with Brus Osborne as well as a few additional team members - everyone was professional, knowledgeable and made everything feel easy. The Upper Ranch is a one-of-a-kind venue built for weddings. The overall venue is rustic and cozy. The layout is perfect and each space is intentional. We were surprised with some snow so used the Aspen Room for our ceremony which still allowed us mountain views. I loved the statement fireplace for our cocktail hour. The Ponderosa Room is simply breathtaking. They require certain vendors and provide recommendations for other vendors if you ask which I appreciated - there are a million wedding vendors and this narrowed it down. All our vendors were outstanding. The fee was reasonable - especially in comparison with other Denver area venues. I’ve followed Spruce on social media since we booked it for our wedding and I have loved how every wedding is so unique and different, yet Spruce Mountain works with all of them including ours. Cannot recommend enough!!

This was the most beautiful place for a wedding, and I am so glad we chose it! I confirmed my wedding date with only a virtual venue tour since we lived out of state. I saw the venue in person a few months later and knew it was the perfect place. Seeing the venue on the actual wedding day was even more magical and the Lower Ranch was the perfect size for my guests (90 people). I have gotten nothing but compliments on how beautiful this venue and scenery was, hoping to attend a wedding here soon!

Overall, Spruce Mountain is an unbelievable venue. We were so excited to get married there! All of our guests were in love with it and thought it was the most unique venue of them all. It truly just shows Colorado and beautiful this state is. Well worth the money. My only complaint is, they definitely pick and choose who they post on their social media or what they repost. Which is kinda unfortunate as it would help vendors get business, it helps other brides get ideas and it’s such an exciting day for couples and they should support being shown off. Every bride and their hard work deserves to be shared or reposted. Not only certain brides or certain vendors.

Had a great experience with the staff at spruce mountain who helped us navigate our wedding planning and wedding day even with needing to postpone due to COVID. It’s a beautiful venue and they have a great list of vendors. Really had a perfect day. The only troubles we had was with the hotel block. The Hilton denver Inverness wound up being perfect when all was said and done, but booking was difficult to get the block rate. I’d probably recommend doing transportation on your own and findings guests lodging wherever convenient to avoid the hassle of having to stress over room blocks/packaged transportation at the Hilton denver Inverness.

Epic Colorado landscape, pristine venue with tons of private space, amazing bridal cottage, and an attentive and professional staff. We got married at the Lower Ranch in September and it was perfect. Out of town guests were blown away with the beauty of the venue and from start to finish working with Tara and her staff was easy and fun. I have waited awhile to write this review because I didn’t want to do it out of anger or frustration. While Spruce Mountain is a gorgeous venue and captivating from the moment you arrive, I cannot and will not ever recommend anyone to support this business. We booked our Wedding for October of 2020. I don’t need to explain to everyone about Covid, risks, CDC guidelines, restrictions etc that everyone had to endure and figure out last year. I kept close watch on what Spruce Mountain was doing to accommodate their clients during this time. Our wedding would have been around 200 guests, with at least 80% of them traveling from out of state and country. Not only did we feel it irresponsible to try and have a gathering of this size, they wouldn’t have been able to accommodate our guest count due to current restrictions (which means they couldn’t hold up their end of the contract). I could go on and get sappy about our situation and that we’ve been together for over 20 years so the wedding was to be a true celebration of our love with our friends and family, but I’ll leave those details out for now because they made this strictly business and transactional. I contacted Spruce Mountain at the end of July, about 9 weeks from our wedding date to see what our options would be for postponement (I was inquiring because in an earlier policy they posted online about government restrictions they said a decision couldn’t be made until 45 days before the event). I was simply told they were “open for business” and I would be canceling our contract with them. They didn’t stop there, they actually tried to explain that our date was a highly desirable date and they wouldn’t be able to rebook on short notice. I couldn’t believe how insensitive their response was. They didn’t address the pandemic , the safety of others. They told me we would be losing our $5000 deposit. They did offer a 20% discount for a new contract in 2021 (and reminded me it was booking up quickly). I understand this pandemic was unprecedented and affects all types of businesses.. I am not oblivious to that fact. I am, however still absolutely stunned that such a successful venue wouldn’t work with couples to try and salvage their most special day and deal with each couple on a case by case basis. I wasn’t asking for any money to be refunded, just for a change in our date because of safety for everyone. All of my other vendors were absolutely amazing and compassionate and probably struggled even more than the venues that charge so much to rent their properties. As I said before, Spruce Mountain is very pretty and I left the day we chose the venue in tears because I was so happy it would be the place I walked down the aisle to the man I love. However, I also cried many tears in disbelief at the unwillingness to waiver during such a crazy and unsafe time to have large gatherings. I write this review in hopes that if someone wants to sign a contract with this venue, they know what they are getting in to. If we had asked to post pone due to a family issue or something out of control but only affected us, I would have been disappointed but understanding of losing our deposit. This was not the case, it was and is a situation where I would hope everyone would work together for the best outcome for everyone involved and for the celebration of true love.

We loved Spruce Mountain!We liked that Spruce didn't require any specific vendors, aside from Event Rents & Peak Beverage, but offered recommendations if we needed any. I loved their Bridal Cottage with its wonderful \"getting ready\" room. We loved the cocktail hour area with its gardens and large outdoor fireplace. The reception area was beautiful and opened up to a courtyard for dancing. We appreciated how large the property was, that we had many options for photos and plenty of space for guests. My husband loved the basketball court and lake you could fish in. We wanted a venue with a “mountain” feel but close to Denver. Spruce was a great option but presented one challenge - the venue is in a small town, far from hotels and nowhere near Ubers/taxis. Since many of our guests would be drinking we provided a round trip shuttle from the hotel to the venue (we chose The Hilton Inverness - it was about 45 minute drive from the venue). The venue was close enough to Denver to use Denver vendors, only one company charged us an extra fee for distance.When COVID hit we seriously contemplated canceling our wedding all together. Tara was very quick with communication as well as open and honest about our options. It was a hard year for weddings, we are thankful our venue handled it professionally. We were able to reschedule from Summer 2020 to Fall 2020, giving up our Saturday for a Friday (in order to secure a summer Saturday wedding date we booked this venue 1 year and 7 months in advance). Absolutely a picturesque backdrop for our September wedding. Spruce Mountain Ranch (SMR) is a combination (balance) of comfortable and intimate. SMR venue quickly rose to the very top of our list for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. If you are serious about a place that accommodates your style and personality, SMR is an excellent venue. We selected the Lower Ranch (Albert’s Lodge, Colorado Room, Ames Patio and Grace’s Chapel) for our wedding and it was immaculate and perfect for our guests. You need to do a little work in finding vendors but it is worth the time and energy to create your special wedding. We are in our 50s and confident in our ability to make selections on caterers/beverages, entertainment, and décor; however, an event coordinator is also required for, at minimum, day-of the event and we are happy that we selected one especially as we were planning our wedding during the initial COVID months. The SMR staff is efficient in responding to emails and provided as much information as possible. We planned for more than a year and everything to include the weather, executed to near perfection. The venue staff was ready and prepared with everything to include setup, sanitation stations, and cleanup. Our guests commented about how stunning the location is and how the staff ensured compliance with COVID requirements while allowing guests to feel safe and healthy throughout the day into the evening. We are grateful to Tara and her staff for the many ways that you made our wedding day the most special event of our lives.

Spruce Mountain Ranch is the most beautiful venue! My husband and I had looked at a few other venues but I can honestly say that when we first drove up to the Spruce Mountain Entrance, I knew this venue was \"the one\". From the beautifully paved road, gorgeous trees, pond and mountain views, I had a good feeling about it. It's classy, has beautiful mountain views and lovely cocktail hour and reception venues. Brus was wonderful to work with and very responsive informative and accommodating. You can't go wrong with Spruce Mountain Ranch :)

We knew that the venue was absolutely the most important thing when planning a wedding. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding to enjoy Colorado mountains and scenery, for our mountain theme wedding. We scheduled many tours of other venues, but as soon as we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was the one. Skyler was our tour guide and she was so friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. This place really has everything together and we really liked that this venue had a lot of things that you don’t need to worry about like chairs and tables (for both ceremony and reception), an area for the caterer to set up, a built in bar, and a dedicated dance floor. We chose to hold our wedding at the lower ranch. We chose the mountainside site for our ceremony. This site is up on the hill and overlooks beautiful scenery with mountains in the background. The cocktail hour was in the Colorado Room, which is an indoor/outdoor area that has a lodge feel with a patio for mingling. Our reception was in the Albert’s Lodge, which is absolutely stunning. This has a mountain lodge/cabin feel and there is wood everywhere, and has a large mantle and fireplace. It is a huge space. The dance floor is adjacent and it is outside, with large garage doors adjoining for a partial indoor/outdoor space for the reception as well. We liked that there was designated spaces for everything, but yet everything flowed. Another reason why we really liked this property is because pictures are super important to us and we knew there would be lots of great opportunities for beautiful pictures. Every single thing about this venue is miles above other venues we toured in terms of beauty and quality. We have had great communication with the venue and every time we have called or emailed Tara, she has responded the same day. Everyone there is completely invested in you and your day, and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Tara was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our day was perfect, including things like turning on the fire place even though it was July because we liked it for our theme and ambiance. When we toured the venue, it was hard for us to believe that anyone would have their wedding anywhere else but here! Every single guest we had commented on how this was the prettiest, and nicest venue they have ever been to and made it one of their favorite weddings to attend! Even when we would tell our other vendors that our venue was Spruce Mountain Ranch, they would always tell us that they enjoy working there, that it’s so beautiful, and it’s one of the nicest and highest quality venues they have ever worked with. On the day of, Kyla was our property manager for the day.This venue absolutely made our wedding the most perfect day ever and we can’t thank Skyler, Tara, and Kyla enough for their help leading up to and on the big day. The venue was the highlight of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. This venue is absolutely perfect in so many ways and has everything we have ever wanted in a venue. To anyone who is looking for a venue that is a mix of indoors and outdoors, with absolutely beautiful scenery, and lots of different spaces to spread out, this venue is for you! I would highly highly highly recommend this venue to any bride of any kind. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and we are so happy that we found this venue and chose it for our big day!

We recently held a wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch. This place is drop dead gorgeous! Be very careful who your PROPERTY MANAGER is! We had Jen, she was incredibly rude. She was not helpful in any way, all she did was stand around with her arms folded looking very cranky. When the wedding party arrived there was no one around to direct us where to go, no lights on, it was a ghost ranch. After several minutes she appeared out of no where saying, \"Oh I didn't know there was a wedding this morning otherwise I would have turned the lights on. Sorry.\" WHAT?? We were here the day before for the rehearsal for crying out loud!!When we arrived on the day of the wedding there was a chalkboard sign with poorly written wording for our name. That was it for directions. We had 100 guests and only 1 shuttle/driver. Needless to say, the wedding ran over 30 minutes late. To top it all off we were pushed out to make way for a far more important wedding party.... as they had rented the place for the afternoon. We paid $950/hour for this place. Jen single-handedly almost ruined our daughters wedding day.

Spruce Mountain is the most beautiful venue inside and out. From the rustic wood walls, lights draping the ceiling, a stone fireplace, outdoor terrace, bridal and groomsmen suites, to the most amazing backdrops. The drive to the ceremony/reception space was also breathtaking and hyped up the occasion for me as well. We were supposed to get married outside at Trey's Vista, but the day of my wedding it snowed and was 17 degrees. The cocktail space inside the ponderosa room turned into the ceremony site and I got married in front of a glowing fire. The chairs were quickly taken away to the reception space and cocktail hour commenced. I was envisioning an outdoor wedding, but my indoor wedding was just as perfect. The reception space was even more amazing after it was all put together. I literally felt like I was a celebrity about to put on a concert the day of my wedding seeing all the different venders setting up. The reception space also had a perfect platform for the band we arranged. Even though it was 17 degrees, we braced the cold for our pictures and they turned out magazine worthy. The snow added a beautiful touch and my guests still go on about how pretty my pictures are. Brus Osborne was such a great help in making this day go off without a hitch. I am from Indianapolis and I needed someone on call to be able to answer questions, get specifics for venders, etc. She was that person. She was also very helpful in assisting me with finding the best deals for the reception. Brus also let me come out an additional time before the run through to show the venue to my mom as she was not able to be there with me the first time due to my dad being sick. I also did my boudoir shoot with my photographer at Spruce Mountain as well. Brus was awesome and I am very glad I got to know her. She had it all down to a science. I would recommend her services and Spruce Mountain Ranch to anyone.

I got married at Spruce Mountain Ranch in October of 2018. Our overall experience with them was wonderful! My only suggestion/ wish would be to allow the bride and bridal party to arrive an hour earlier to the ranch without charging for extra time. The extra hour would be so helpful in allowing makeup application, final touches, and a little relaxation before the big day begins. Everything else ran so smoothly for us that day despite a few hiccups with weather and transportation. The teams we worked with were so kind and kept my mother and myself calm! The scenery is gorgeous and the reception area (Ponderosa room) is so spacious that no one felt cramped. Overall wonderful!

We have our wedding booked for December 2019 and we cannot wait to see it all come together at Spruce Mountain!! From the day we took the tour of the Ranch, I instantly knew it was the place I wanted to exchange my vows with my future husband. I even got a little teary eyed! Ha. The rustic charm and Colorado elegance is beyond perfect and has so much to offer. Not knowing the weather situation come that day can be a little intimidating, but I know either way it will be beautiful in the hands of the SM staff. My daughter and son-in-law had a picture perfect wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch in September 2018. Our group of 220 took over the upper ranch and we had all the space -- and more -- that we needed. The venue is ideal, whether the weather is blue bird Colorado sky -- as it was for us! -- or inclement and you need to move indoors. The staff cater to your every need and are quick to fix any issues if they arise. (When the bridal party arrived the morning of our wedding we discovered the water wasn't running, but the staff moved quickly to get it restored.) All the vendors we hired told us how much they like working at SMR so that tells you a lot about what a great place it is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SMR to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue that is run with the utmost professionalism.

Your team was on top of all the details, the venue was magical and set up was perfect, especially when the “garage doors” opened for dinner. – what a lasting statement of an event that perfectly followed from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner & dancing. There aren’t words to express how strongly I recommend this venue- our experience with Spruce Mountain Ranch was the best experience we could’ve imagined!! From the first time we visited, Tara made us feel right at home. She explained the venue’s policies thoroughly and answered all of our questions. She also reviewed the contract with us at length so we knew exactly what we were paying for and what to expect. Spruce also hosted an event which allowed us to view all of their recommended vendors, which was extremely helpful. The day of our wedding, Spruce was just as gorgeous as promised. The Mountain Side ceremony site was beyond stunning and an incredibly beautiful location to exchange our vows. Alberts lodge very comfortably fit our 110 person guest count, with room to spare. And of course, our guests enjoyed perusing through the garden and outdoor area. If you’re looking for classic Colorado beauty without having to go to the mountains, and a trustworthy place to do business with, Spruce Mountain Ranch will certainly provide you with an exceptional experience!

From the moment we saw the property, we knew we were meant to get married at Spruce. Throughout the entire planning process Tara and her staff were very responsive and helpful. Our ceremony did not go as planned on the mountainside due to the weather but the Spruce team was very accommodating and still helped make our day the best ever. All of our friends and family that flew in from out of state said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been to in a long time. I wish we could have our wedding every weekend at Spruce, it was a dream!

I recently had my wedding at SMR and it was simply amazing!! The day came together perfect! I planned the event from a different state and had only barely seen the property when I booked. Things just kept getting better and better- each time I interacted with the staff or got a chance to see more of the property. They are simply amazing! From helping me select vendors that matched my theme and budget, to even recommending an RV park for some of my guests, Tara was always spot on! Even Erin saving me from troubles with my slide show, just incredible! The professionalism and responsiveness of everyone there, coupled with the beauty of the venue- validates why SMR is a top rated wedding venue! And of course it was the perfect setting for my truly fairytale wedding. Thank you SMR!

Spruce Mountain Ranch is an optical illusion. We looked at several wedding venues and selected Spruce Mountain as the place to create our family memories. Now that the event is over I look back and imagine the wedding in the other venues we considered. None of them would have come close to the atmosphere, beauty, class and level of service we experienced with SMR. The wedding pictures came out today and they are absolutely stunning, indoor and outdoor settings. The upstairs area for the Bride and Bridesmaid to prepare has separate makeup rooms with open windows that look out to the event space. This was magical. As the ladies prepped for the day they could see the vendors setting up the event below and everything coming together before their eyes. It does not get any better in terms of build up, excitement and all day immersion leading up to the most important point in two peoples lives. Thank you Spruce Mountain Ranch, we will be back with more \"children\".

Spruce Mountain Ranch was the first venue in the Denver area that we looked at and we were both immediately very impressed. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, the facilities are new and clean, and the property managers/event managers are absolute professionals and wonderful to work with. We worked with Brus who was a delight in every way, communicated in a timely fashion and was always open to our questions and ideas. Budget-wise, SMR was a great choice and we both felt that we got a good value for what we spent and couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. Our wedding day was stunning, everything came together exactly the way we imagined it, and we are still receiving compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue/ceremony site/reception space all were. I truly have no complaints or negative remarks. I will mention that SMR does require you to choose rental, catering and beverage vendors from their preferred vendor list, however, I actually appreciated this as it streamlined my decision making process. Additionally, all the vendors on that list work at SMR nearly every weekend and are consummate professionals who know the venue inside and out. I felt this really made things run smoothly. Looking back on our wedding day fills me with so much joy and I know that is due in large part to the excellent industry professionals we worked with. Everyone told me how important it was to feel good about your vendors and I can tell you with no hesitation that if you select SMR, that is a decision you can feel great about throughout the entire process. Huge thanks to the SMR team for helping make our day everything we hoped it would be!

The minute we toured this location, we were sold. We rented the Ponderosa Room and were extremely pleased with how everything turned out. There were so many good locations for pictures! The bride and groom's room allowed us to enjoy the venue before the wedding. Out of town guests also loved the location as they could experience some of Colorado's beauty! Everything they provided was high quality - you will not be disappointed. Thank you for providing the perfect place for our special day!

I dont even know where to begin, this venue is AMAZING! We were married at mountain side ceremony site and held cocktail hour outside the Colorado room with reception in Albert's Lodge. It was the PERFECT venue for our mid-October wedding. They do a great job of transporting guests (even last minute) who needed to be shuttled up to the site instead of walking, there was no issue with their outdoor sound system, and the cocktail hour/reception at the end of the night was flawless. We received non-stop compliments on the beauty of this amazing ceremony site especially draped in Fall colors. Thank you Spruce Mountain Ranch!

Absolutely love this venue! It is so beautiful we didn't even need many flowers or decorations because the venue itself is gorgeous! Almost every guest told me how much they loved our venue and we have some of the most spectacular pictures! We even danced outside on the patio under the market lights which made for the perfect CO night.

Spruce is an all around INCREDIBLE mountain venue. Our wedding was mid June & it was perfect!! The property is huge, with many different ceremony and reception sites available. It was awesome to be able to pick exactly what we wanted. We did our ceremony on the mountainside. All of our out of town guests were completely blown away by the view. Our reception was held in Albert's Lodge, with dancing under the market lights. It was so dreamy! My favorite part about the whole property are the giant fireplaces everywhere. Would also be amazing for a winter wedding :)

Choosing Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding venue was the best choice we made for our wedding. Not only did the venue provide spectacular views, but it was kept absolutely pristine. We fell in love the second we pulled onto the property! We had the pleasure of working closely with Tara to organize the details around our ceremony at Grace's Chapel and reception in Albert's Lodge, and she made everything seem so effortless. On the day of our wedding, we had two Spruce Mountain Ranch staff members on site who helped to ensure the event was running smoothly. The backdrop for the wedding made for spectacular photos and video and we couldn't be happier that we chose Spruce Mountain Ranch. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue. I would recommend Spruce Mountain for any bride looking for a rustic, authentic Colorado feel for their wedding!

Spruce mountain is truly the best!! Our daughters wedding was a true fairy tale!! The venue and staff were PERFECT!!! We had the mountainside wedding and indoor reception and it was stunning! Tara and her staff were always there for us and made the day perfect!! I wish there was a 10 star choice!! I highly recommend them!!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was our dream wedding venue. My husband and I live in San Francisco and planned our wedding 100% remotely. We booked a date at SMR without ever seeing the venue in person, and when I first got to visit SMR 30 days before our wedding date, I was EVEN HAPPIER with our decision. Tara is an angel to work with. She was easily available, answered all of our questions promptly, and made planning a wedding as easy and joyful as possible. I wish I could work with her over and over again! We had our wedding ceremony at the Mountainside terrace, and our reception in the Colorado Room and Albert's lodge. The mix of indoor/outdoor space was exactly what I had always dreamed of, and even with a late October wedding, Colorado showed off and we had perfect, 70 degree weather. We had a weather backup plan that Tara assured me would only be a 100% necessary plan B. Our primarily of town guests LOVED the venue and couldn't get over the views from our ceremony site. From the incredible getting ready space for both the bride and groom, to the beautiful vistas and lake that we took photos around, to the patio where we had our first dance... I just can't imagine a more perfect venue for our wedding. I feel like the price we paid was an incredible value compared to other comparable venues, and all 200 guests had the absolute best time. My husband and I would choose to get married at Spruce Mountain Ranch again tomorrow. I’m so happy we chose Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding venue! We spent a long time trying to find a place that would accommodate all of our needs, and Spruce was the only one that could do it! It’s such a breathing-taking and beautiful site with lots of ceremony options. Tara and the rest of her staff were so helpful and accommodating. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was if it hadn’t been for Spruce! We highly recommend them to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful venue and reception site and awesome people to work with.

Every moment I spent at Spruce Mountain, from the initial site visit to the day of, was a delight. We had a lot of family and friends in from out of state, and wanted a venue that showcased the state that we get to call home. Spruce's entire property embodies \"Colorado elegance\" and is so naturally beautiful, it requires very little additional decor. We were in their lower ranch, using Albert's Lodge for the ceremony and reception, and the Colorado Room for cocktail hour. The Bride/Grooms' suites are spacious and very comfortable, you will never run out of beautiful backdrops for photos, and staff is very helpful and protective of their brides. It's the kind of place you never want to leave.

Our wedding day was incredible! We stumbled upon the Ranch after a long day of venue searching near the Denver area and instantly fell in love with it as we drove through the grand gates. Tara, the owner was amazing to work with. She was quick to respond to our questions and very understanding while working with us as we were out of state and made our wedding a destination. Spruce Mountain Ranch made all of our dreams come true in October and I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! We had 250 acres to ourselves for the entire wedding day. This all included a cottage for the women to get ready, a bar area for the men, a choice of 3 outside ceremony sites and 2 inside ceremony sites, a cocktail reception lodge, and an outdoor dance floor! It rained on our big day and the staff handled the last minute change of plans for indoor ceremony and reception perfectly!

Spruce Mountain Ranch is amazing! All of the staff members are such a joy to work with and very very helpful throughout the entire planning process and day of. Everything on our wedding day went smoothly thanks to the coordination and communication of the Spruce staff members. The venue itself is beautiful and offers so much space for guests to enjoy the Colorado outdoors! There are also so many great picture locations!
