This ballroom's grandeur makes for an elegant backdrop for any milestone celebration, from rehearsal dinners to romantic wedding ceremonies and receptions. Spruce St Studios offers two upscale indoor spaces alongside a charming outdoor garden. Studio A, accommodating 300 people, offers 4,000 sq feet of space, private get-ready suites, and a cozy cocktail area with a bar. For a slightly more intimate gathering, Studio B has space for up to 220 people and equally gorgeous suites for pre-wedding festivities. You can also plan a ceremony in the open air in the venue's beautiful gardens. Seating up to 200 people, it's ideal for a ceremony beneath a canopy of trees or a post-ceremony toast with bubbly. The spaces can be mixed and matched to accommodate any type of event with a number of flexible event package options. Spruce Street Studios is an amazing venue! It was absolutely the perfect place to get married. Renee and all her staff very incredibly kind and helpful. Our wedding was a 2 bride wedding and finding a place that is welcoming for that can be difficult. Renee accepted us and treated us the same as any other couple making our day stress free and beautiful. I would recommend this venue for ALL couples!

Everything was great every step of the way! We knew we were going choose this venue as soon as our tour and meeting with Renee was finished. The venue is beautiful and all of our guests complimented how nice it was. The professionalism of Renee, Samantha and the rest of the team was so much more than we could have asked for. Hands down, we made the right choice and couldn't have asked for a better wedding! It's hard to narrow down everything we enjoyed about our experience... but we have to say we loved having the freedom to customize our own wedding and not be limited to specifics. We were free to choose all our own details and Renee & her team helped us make it happen.

We had our wedding at Spruce St. and it was fantastic. The perfect size, atmosphere, and versatility. We were able to make it exactly what we wanted. We did have a couple issues with handicap accessibility for some guests so keep in mind guest needs when booking also. Great venue, though!

Spruce Street Studios is absolutely gorgeous! In my opinion, the number 1 perk for this venue is nearly everything is under one roof! Renee offers tons of rentals from table covers, unique signs, altars, a photo booth, and so much more. If you book with Spruce Street, you can also book Blooms on Spruce, which is housed in Spruce Street. I am still amazed with how beautiful my flowers turned out. Renee is so helpful and all of the staff are amazing and friendly. I literally have no complaints. Also, there are so many opportunities for beautiful backdrops at and around the venue!

We knew we loved your venue the moment we visited. We didn’t know how amazing your staff would help make our day! From set up to tear down and everything in between our daughter’s wedding day was perfect. Absolutely perfect! I knew exactly who to find when I needed a replacement party bus! Renee you handled that situation flawlessly! We are so greatly appreciative of everything you helped us with! Kaylee was also phenomenal! Her talent with the flowers measured beyond anything we could have every imagined! Several guests were convinced our flowers were fake until they touched them because they looked so perfect! That is a talent I greatly admire!June did a fantastic job with the bar and accommodating our guests! She and Kaylee together made our night go so smoothy. We cannot thank you enough for everything! Renee is amazing to work with! After starting Spruce Street Studios, she sure has done an amazing job converting the old church (I have been to 2 weddings there when it was a church). The chandeliers are absolutely beautiful and go with any event. My new husband and I had a short planning window (proposal November 5th, 2020, wedding May 4th, 2021). We already had a Star Wars theme planned, and Renee had some amazing options to go with it, like the sequined table runners, and all of the colored linen tablecloths we wanted, in our colors of blue, purple, and black. She had everything set up for us on short notice of a change to have our ceremony at Spruce St as well, since rain started and our first venue was outside. Definitely go for the uplighting! The bridal suite and groom's room were great to have as a place for changing and keeping belongings safe. Renee has great ideas if you have any questions on how to create your big day!

I would not have changed a single thing about our wedding at Spruce Street. Our day was absolutely PERFECT. Everyone from the venue was extremely kind and felt like some our closest friends. They made everything so easy and smooth. The convenience of having both the ceremony and reception in the same venue was so wonderful. We didn’t have to run around decorating the day before. We simply brought it all to one sport! Make sure to take advantage of Blooms on Spruce for your flowers! My bouquet was breathtaking as was my flower crown. They did a PHENOMENAL job of bringing our vision to life. They’re the best around!!!

Renee is absolutely amazing to work with she goes out of her way to make every event special in their own way. This venue also has some super helpful inside connections and perks as well. Spruce St. Studios was the perfect venue for our Ceremony and Reception!! We looked at several different venues, but after meeting with Renee, we both knew that we had found the right one. Renee was so helpful with the entire planning process. It was so great to be able to rent certain pieces of decor from the venue which saved us the hassle of transporting everything back and forth to Shelbyville. We met and spoke with Renee regularly, which helped ease our minds when we weren't confident that we had everything under control. Neither my husband nor I had ever been to a same-sex wedding before, but Renee and the rest of the staff were so helpful finding different ways to work in the traditional items like the bouquet and garter toss. Overall, the entire event went 100X better than we could have ever wished for. The bartender, Mel, was FAST and super friendly. We got so many compliments about the bar service. The \"Event Manager\

Neither my husband nor I had ever been to a same-sex wedding before, but Renee and the rest of the staff were so helpful finding different ways to work in the traditional items like the bouquet and garter toss. Before we chose Spruce St we looked at several different venues. Even though they had nice things to offer, there was no competition. Renee was amazing to work with! She kept up with us often, gave us ideas, and helped me tremendously come wedding day!

Renee was phenomenal to work with. Flowers by Kaylee were amazing. The decor, the ambience, the whole feel of the place was magical for our daughter's wedding. For our family being from San Diego and having to travel for the wedding, Spruce Street was a fabulous choice. Shelbyville is a quaint town that screamed fall wedding! Renee (Owner) With 23+ years of experience in events and catering, in 2012 I decided to take a leap into the venue business. After 8 seasons and 370 events, I have fluffed more dresses and shook more hands than I can remember. Yet, it never gets old when a bride or groom walks down the aisle and all eyes are on them. I'm such a sap and often you'll catch me getting teary. I want their day to be perfect. It is so rewarding to see an event go off without a hitch.
