Stafford’s was a dream location for our wedding reception! From the start of the planning process, Angie and the sales team were incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They made planning a breeze. As the day approached, they were great at communicating the different things we needed to fill out or do before hand. Wedding food is typically sub-par, but not at Stafford’s… it’s AMAZING! So many of our guests raved about the food. The view at the Perry is also spectacular and then throw a delicious meal on top of that and you and your guests are surely set up to have a wonderful night. Angie and her team also gave us amazing recommendations for the vendors we chose. Our dj kept the party going all night, while the bartenders did a great job of getting guests their drinks quickly so there was never much of a line. A family heirloom was lost during the reception and they had the whole entire hotel staff searching for the lost item. They really care about making every detail of your day perfect! Our guests also loved staying at the hotel and being walking distance from everything in downtown Petoskey! The hotel staff is very accommodating and work hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. Stafford’s Perry hotel is the premier place to have your wedding reception if you want great food, a great staff, and an overall great reception!

Great venue for a wedding. Right in Downtown Petoskey. Northern Michigan. Everything was amazing the staff, food and the accommodation's. Angie the event planner and her team were fantastic. They took their time with you. Listened to what your wants and needs were. Had time to answer any and all of your questions. Always followed up with you. Took ALL of the stress away. I cannot recommend Stafford’s Perry Hotel enough!! Northern Michigan has always held a special place in my and my husband’s hearts and once we were engaged, we knew we wanted to find a venue in the area! Through some personal recommendations, we visited Stafford’s Perry Hotel and immediately knew this is where we wanted to host our nuptials! The entire staff at the hotel was so kind, helpful, and accommodating! Jill and Angie especially were so amazing to work with and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch! On the day of the wedding, Jill was with us all day making sure everything went according to schedule and I did not have to worry about a thing! All of our guests also had nothing but great things to say about their stay! We are so incredibly happy with our decision to get married at the Perry Hotel and you will be too!Also, we had our rehearsal dinner at the Perry as well and we absolutely loved it! We thankfully picked a weekend where there were no other weddings so the hotel was able to be even more accommodating!

I just got married at the Perry one month ago today and I still am in awe of how PERFECT my day was. The staff was INCREDIBLE, especially Angie, Lindsey, and Jill. They worked with me to make my dreams come true! The entire service staff and event staff the day of the wedding was so incredible and so happy to be there. I truly never felt like I was bothering anyone with my million questions. They made our day seamless and beautiful. The location is GORGEOUS, the hotel is stunning, and the food is incredible. I would 100000% do my wedding at the Perry A THOUSAND TIMES!!! Thank you to the Perry for EVERYTHING!!

We got married at The Perry in October of this year and had the perfect wedding weekend. I'm beyond grateful that we selected The Perry as our venue. Jill and Angie were incredible to work with. I didn't hire a planner or a day of planner, which I felt a bit nervous about, but didn't need one because Jill was so incredibly helpful in the planning process and helpful with the day of details. They were accommodating and quick to respond to my many questions throughout planning.We had a Welcome Party, our ceremony, reception and farewell brunch all at The Perry and every detail was exactly what we wanted. It was so fun having almost all of our guests also stay at the hotel. We are from Chicago and all of our guests had to travel to Petoskey, so having everything in one place made it so convenient. The Perry is perfectly located in Petoskey allowing for our guests to walk around to explore the goodness that is Northern Michigan. I highly recommend The Perry - it seriously was a dream of a weekend!

Stafford's Perry Hotel and their wonderful staff helped turn our dream wedding into a reality! Specifically, Angie and Jill helped turn the daunting task of planning a wedding into a very seamless process by providing preferred vendor lists, easy timelines and deadlines to follow, and keeping in touch with us each step of the way. The picturesque view of Little Traverse Bay coupled with a beautifully historic hotel and grounds makes for the perfect venue and we wouldn't trade our experience for anything!

I cannot say enough good things about Stafford's and the amazing event team there. I worked with Angie and Jill mainly and they were absolutely fantastic. Angie is so knowledgable about The Perry, the wedding industry, local vendors, etc. and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her on our big day. We did not hire a planner and having her as the day-of coordinator was a lifesaver. She kept everyone on time, calm (including when I forgot my veil AS I was walking down the aisle), and having fun. Jill was a great help with all my catering questions and timeline. Every guest commented on two things: 1. the OUTSTANDING view from the Rose Garden. We received many comments on how this was the most beautiful wedding guests had ever been too, and 2. the delicious food, drinks, and service.This was my dream wedding venue for about 20 years and it was far above and beyond my wildest dreams. I wish I could do it all again!! I would recommend this venue, catering, and team to anyone and everyone.

I can't recommend Stafford's Perry Hotel enough! The wedding and event team there is just top notch and took away so much of my stress on my big day. They really took care of coordinating everything the day of to make sure it was perfect. I worked with Angie and she was the best! The venue itself is stunning and you can't beat the view of Little Traverse Bay. The food was also SO good. My guests are still telling me how nice The Perry was and how amazing the staff was. The Rose Garden Veranda was the absolutely the most gorgeous and picturesque venue I could have ever imagined. The backdrop with the sunset and the colorful flowers is like NO other.Angie was so helpful throughout the entire process. She is extremely knowledgable and her experience is unmatched. I was able to fully trust her recommendations. She is direct, smart and knows exactly what she is talking about.The food was delicious, the staff was very polite and our guests were so impressed. It was truly the wedding of my dreams. Everything about the Perry exceeded my expectations.

I can’t even begin to describe how magical my wedding day was thanks to the staff at The Perry. Book your wedding here! The Perry made my wedding a perfect event. They were responsive and communicative throughout the entire process from start to finish of wedding planning and all that it involves - by the end I’m pretty sure I had a 100+ email chain with Lindsey, who was so helpful and made me feel like I was the only bride she was dealing with despite the venue’s very booked wedding schedule. The food was delicious, and the staff during the event was professional and fun. The sunset view is the best in Petoskey. All of the guests I have spoken to since our wedding have told me that it was truly the best wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Stafford’s Perrry Hotel!

The location was stunning, the staff was so attentive and kind it was impressive. The food was delicious, dance floor was perfect. Overall a complete 10/10. We have zero negative items. Having our wedding at the Stafford Perry was better than any dream wedding we could have come up with. We had to plan our wedding from NC. We booked the venue based on reviews and online pictures, hoping for the best. The venue ended up being drop dead gorgeous with the best views of Lake Michigan sunsets we had ever seen. Planning our wedding from NC, which would have been incredibly stressful in any other venue, was much less stressful because Angie made sure that everything with the venue stayed on track and promptly responded to all emails and worked with us to make my dream wedding happen, including arranging the head table in a way that had never been done before at the Perry. When it came time for the tasting, Winston, the head of food and wine, made our experience extremely memorable (no I am not going to spoil it for you) and the food tasted fantastic. As we got closer to the wedding, Jill met with us to go over the day of details and was our coordinator the day of the wedding. She made sure everything ran smoothly the day of and worked with the vendors to make sure everything coordinated seamlessly. Not only that, but the Perry added so many unexpectedly wonderful moments to our day that made it a once in a lifetime experience. All of our guests raved about the Perry and we 1000000% recommend having your wedding here. You will not regret it. The entire staff was so wonderful! The team there really cares about each individual couple and making sure that you are heard and cared for. The Perry is beautiful, the food was delicious! Choosing the Perry for my venue was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I didn't have a planner, but their staff made the whole process so simple. Their team is so responsive and helpful, I had nothing to worry about the day of. Jill was my day-of coordinator, and she did a fantastic job. I was nervous because she was new and I hadn't met her, but she and the rest of the staff did an incredible job. The setting was beautiful, and so convenient to have our guests stay at the hotel so nobody had to worry about driving. So many guests said that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Would 100% recommend!

We booked our daughter's wedding reception at the Stafford' Perry Inn, Rose Garden Veranda about a year a head of time. The planning process, the payment process, the week of event process - everything was absolutely perfect. This venue, weather cooperating, is stunning, breathtaking actually. The staff from event planning, to event servers, cooks-ask for Megan's Mega Charcuterie Board for an appetizer, reservations...you name it. Absolutely top notch. They worked with us on every detail to make sure it was perfect, and it was. If you are even thinking of booking this venue - DO IT! You will not regret it. Our daughter and son-in-laws wedding was everything we could have asked for and more.

This venue was absolutely amazing. Angie and her team are organized, quick, and most of all kind. We had our wedding on the Rose Garden Veranda overlooking Lake Michigan and it was truly beautiful. The staff helped us every step of the way and it was flawlessly executed. I have been to other weddings where dinner service took upwards to 30-40 minutes for people to get their food, then there is a strange lull before dancing. Everyone had their meals (which were amazing and cooked perfectly) within 15 minutes at least. Cheers to the Perry :).

Long review ahead: I would say the venue is stunning, we got married in the rose garden followed by cocktail hour and had our reception in the HO rose room. The food was wonderful and staff and bar tenders were great. Ellen is amazing on service kindest lady around. The chef and his team were on point, worth every penny, 11 out of 10 on that end for sure. We arrived on Thursday for my Saturday wedding and the hotel service staff made us feel so special, honestly couldn’t rave more, the hotel is iconic. However I did not hire a wedding coordinator as I was told there would be one on site day of. I brought a uhaul of stuff since I did my own wedding planning and that morning at 8am my family unloaded it brought all of it in and went to work setting up. What fell short was the day of wedding coordinator Anna to assist with running things. She didn’t arrive until one which was fine however an hour or so before my wedding ceremony, while my aunt was finishing set up, she gave a random couple a tour of the venue when she was needed the most, taking the magic out of what should have been such a special time. The band showed up and she was no where to be found so they were unsure how to load in and set up, my aunt stepped in as (Anna was giving that couple a tour around that time) none of my candles were lit before I walked down the aisle or in the cocktail hour area even though they were in huge lanterns that I brought in and set up, she assured my dad they would be lit, but that never happened (she could have lit them or told staff too instead of giving a tour an hour before my wedding). She never came to get me to tell me to come down for the ceremony while I was taking pictures, even though she said she would be right back, one of my cousins had to. And when I got down stairs she mentioned I was late? I checked into the hotel Thursday but we got a mr and mrs suite on Saturday complements to the hotel. Since I had to move around my stuff my mom Asked Anna what room number my wedding suite was, her response to my mom was “how should I know?” and my mom had to ask her to go down to the front desk and ask, as my mom was tied up with setting up stuff and Anna was just standing there with her clip board. She never had the staff move the arch in place even though she confirmed we could use it, so we had to scratch it last minute. Unfortunately there is more but I only have so much room for a response. It’s a shame to focus on this part because it was a magical night, my photographer Meg Paxton was unreal she arrived on site at 3 and took control of the chaos, I mention this only because Anna’s energy about my wedding was completely different. Meg truly wanted to be there and help, and my wedding party and others said we felt Anna didn’t really care. We are planning on coming back to the hotel as it’s such a wonderful place to be, we had lots of family and friends stay there over our wedding weekend who raved about their stay. But to put over a year and half of personal planning, saving for a couple years, I think brides should know 6/10 on the day of wedding side. There is no way I would have pulled this wedding off with out my family. But we needed someone the last couple hours before for final touches, and to give the staff direction, which we were told was day of coordinator duties. Hinde site I would have hired a day of wedding coordinator and my wedding would have been 10/10.

Best wedding venue EVER! I would highly recommend the Perry to anyone looking to have a wedding in northern Michigan. The Perry staff went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. So many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended, and told me how comfortable the staff at the Perry made their stay. We had a July wedding on the Rose Garden Veranda, and the views (especially at sunset!) were stunning. Angie and the rest of the staff worked so hard to make sure that everything was just as we envisioned. We wish we could do the whole day again and again. We look forward to staying at the Perry for anniversaries to come!

Our ceremony and reception at the Perry Hotel were better than we could have imagined! First off, the rose garden veranda is absolutely gorgeous-- beautiful, colorful gardens with Lake Michigan in the backdrop is hard to beat. The food was excellent and fresh, and the bartenders were on top of things the entire night. Our guests have been raving about how amazing the wedding was! Most importantly, Angie and her staff made planning the wedding from out of state an absolute breeze. We were taken care of at every step of the way and couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend the Perry and would 100% choose it again!

Staffords will always hold such a special place in our hearts after our wedding weekend. From the initial booking to our wedding day- everything was stress free and nothing but perfect. Every single detail was executed perfectly. Absolutely nothing went awry at our wedding thanks to Staffords. Our guests have said nothing but good things about the atmosphere, staff, food & drinks. Staffords helped us navigate through the toughness of 2020 and stuck by our side with every painful phone call we had to make to discuss COVID issues that may arise. If we could get married 1000 more times it would be at The Perry! We cannot thank them enough.

If I could share one piece of advice with brides-to-be it would be to book this venue!!!! We got married here in September and from the first moment of the planning process to the last moment of our wedding weekend, it was enjoyable and easy for all involved which was the most important thing to me. It quickly became obvious that Angie, Xaina, and the rest of the team at the Perry are professionals at weddings, no detail was missed. They promptly answered any question I had during the planning process and helped me create the most beautiful and perfect wedding day which was executed flawlessly. Seriously, I cannot tell you how many comments we got to the effect of \"this was the most beautiful/perfect/best wedding I have ever been to\". Everyone staying right at the hotel for the weekend was an added bonus and made it even more fun. We had several questions and adjustments with hotel rooms along the way and they were super accommodating. Our wedding was outside in the Rose Garden and being late September I was somewhat worried about it being cold. Thankfully we had perfect weather, but I'm confident that it would have been comfortable no matter the weather with their very sturdy tent and heaters. I could go on and on about this venue and how the location, view, food, people, overall experience is the best of the best. Forever thankful to the team at the Perry for the best day ever!!!

Angie and the whole event staff at the Stafford’s Perry are flawless. When I was planning our wedding there are so many little details that often felt very overwhelming. After postponeing my wedding in 2020 I was feeling like things were piling up and I was going to miss something important. However, I should have never had a doubt because the moment the planning process started up in 2021 Angie, Xaina, and their team nailed it. They handled everything from start to finish. Their professionalism is unparalleled and their caring and attention to detail genuinely incredible. The stress and burden they took off my shoulders can’t be described, I truly felt relaxed the entire wedding (other than normal wedding gitters) because I knew they had me covered in every way possible. My wedding party, and the family closest to us and involved in the planning process all complimented them to us during the evening at how awesome Angie and the staff was. Also, to give more compliments, if you are looking for a place to get married the Rose Garden Veranda was stunning. It rained the day of our wedding, but it did not stop the venue from being truly perfect. Again, many people complimented us on the beauty of the day & venue. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. My husband and I strongly recommend you choose this team to trust with your big day – they won’t disappoint you in any way.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Stafford's Perry Hotel team. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Angie & Xania made the planning process so easy, and the Perry staff's execution was seamless. Our reception was in the Rose Garden Veranda & it ended up pouring rain during dinner. Their tent system is absolutely amazing - not a drop of rain entered the area. Amazing! They are experts in providing a superior guest experience. The food was fantastic and the service was seamless.

We had our rehearsal dinner in the H.O. Rose room upstairs and it could not have been better! The room was beautiful and we also loved using the side porch. We were also able to host welcome drinks immediately following by using the same bar and area. Stafford's was very accommodating with how we wanted to separate the bill and what specific food and drink to offer. Additionally, the majority of our guests stayed at the Perry, as did my husband and I on our wedding night. It's a gorgeous hotel with very nice staff and having grown up up the street, I loved finally being a guest there :) My sister got married at the Perry 8 years ago and my brother will later this summer so my family would definitely say we've had great experiences and would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely Stunning!!! We had a wonderful experience working with the Stafford's Perry Hotel for my daughter's wedding. The staff is top notch and the ladies (Angie and Xaina) are simply the best. They are extremely responsive and focused on every detail. They were extremely accomodating and fair. The venue, the view, the service, the food is all exceptional!!! Stafford's Perry Hotel and Angie were great to work with in planning and executing my daughter's recent wedding! We were so happy to begin with the cocktail hour in the enclosed Rose Garden Veranda overlooking Lake Michigan. The presentation of the appetizers was done very well! The reception was absolutely beautiful and elegant in the H.O. Rose Room. We received many compliments from our guests on the plated dinner. Several people stated that it was the best tenderloin they had ever had!

We picked The Perry because we wanted to have a beautiful outdoor northern Michigan wedding. Photos truly don't do it justice! On top of the outdoor space, the hotel itself is beautiful and classically vintage while still being well kept/clean. My get ready photos were made by the gorgeous king suite we were comped as the bride and groom! Angie W. and Xaina made the whole experience so incredibly easy and they handled everything with kindness and professionalism. The staff at the hotel during the wedding went above and beyond-EVERYTHING was taken care of and I didn't have to worry about a single detail. We had to switch last minute to have the reception indoors due to weather and the staff made it so easy and just as beautiful as my original vision. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience! I want to make special note of the incredible food-we are still getting compliments on the food at our wedding! I couldn't agree more-it was one of the best dinners I have ever had. Thank you to everyone at The Perry Hotel!

Our wedding at the Perry September 12, 2020 at Stafford’s Perry Hotel was perfect. A lot could have gone wrong given the uncertainty of COVID-19 this year and the day-long rain storm forecasted for that day. But we had booked the most amazing venue with the most amazing team for our wedding, and so we had the wedding of our dreams celebrating with family and friends.We live in Petoskey, so picking a wedding venue was simple considering Stafford’s legendary hospitality and you’ve seen the views from the Perry Veranda. We had already committed to the Perry for our special day before meeting Angie, our wedding coordinator. There was no question or concern too trivial for Angie in the year leading up to our wedding. Even when COVID-19 threatened all happiness in 2020 and many couples were canceling their wedding, Angie was constantly in communication with us about the safety protocols and how it would work if we did decide to postpone. None of us had all the answers when it comes to the global pandemic (and we still don’t), but Angie made us confident we could safely have our loved ones with us to celebrate that day. Throughout the process Angie made us feel as though she were planning this wedding for a close friend or family member. The week of the wedding a rainstorm threatened to dampen our entire weekend. With everything happening in 2020 it was really depressing to think our wedding would be rained out. Once again, Angie had a plan. We thought the ceremony and reception would have to be significantly altered to protect the guests from the elements, but Stafford’s already had the tent walls and heaters ready. They even had a plan to protect and still feature the vintage furniture we had rented for the event. Angie was so upbeat and confident about everything we really did not worry at all about the weather.The day of the event every detail was taken care of. Angie took so much care setting up the decorations and favors we had brought in for our guests. She checked in on us several times throughout the reception to make sure we were having as much fun as the guests. When the dress bustling wasn’t going well, Angie found us struggling and literally dropped to the floor to help figure it out. We felt so special all evening at the Perry, especially when the team at Stafford’s had our personalized Noggin Room mug waiting for us at the head table. We had earned the mug by drinking a long list of beers right before the pandemic shut everything down, and due to the timing the mug hadn’t been personalized. Days before the wedding we mentioned it to Angie, and somehow the mug was there to use on our special day. It’s not surprising that two weeks after the wedding we’re still hearing raving reviews from our guests about their experience, and how impressed they were with the Stafford’s team. There is no shortage of stories our guests have told us. A few family members couldn’t attend at the last minute, one a close uncle due to a biking accident the day before - the waiter at his table was genuinely concerned about him and boxed up his meal for other relatives to take home to him that night.We can’t stop smiling thinking about our wedding day, and Angie and Stafford’s are a huge reason why. Thanks to them we had our dream wedding in the middle of a pandemic. Our guests were safe and they had the best time celebrating. In times like these we can’t take for granted these special days. It was a day at the Perry we will never forget.

We have so many kind words to express our wedding day experience. My husband and I have been planning our wedding for a year and a half only to cancel our wedding 24 days before the big day. We planned to get married in NY but change everything last minute due to the pandemic. We never expected to have the wedding of our dreams after this happening, however, we did. We had the wedding of our dreams. All thanks to the Stafford Perry Hotel. Both Xania and Angie made our dreams come true. They took on our last minute wedding and made it incredible. They are very organized and make everything so easy. The wedding day itself was magical. From everything to the set-up, ceremony, decor, food, wait staff, bartenders, margarita was incredible and I am very picky about my margs lol. My guest are still raving about how excellent the food was. The attention to detail on the tables was amazing. We have so many more kind words to say. If you are between venues, choose this one. You will not be disappointed. This team is so fun to work with and make wedding planning a breeze.

We absolutely LOVED working with the Perry team to plan our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception outdoors in the rose garden and the setting was absolutely stunning!Being a COVID wedding there were some adjustments that needed to be made, largely that my now husband and I moved our wedding to the Perry a mere 4 months before our wedding date (it was originally planned for Detroit). We initially looked at The Perry the week after we got engaged, but at the time felt the space was a little too small for our guest list...fast forward almost a year and we knew we wanted to keep our wedding date, but with a smaller guest list and in keeping with COVID safety measures. I called the Perry right away and they had all of our information still on file from our first visit :) they also offered to hold the date for over a week while we tried to work with our existing vendors. Natalie at The Perry was AMAZING! In about a week we were able to nail down 80% of the wedding details, get in touch with some new vendor recommendations from the Perry and introduce our existing vendors (who traveled from Detroit) to The Perry team. I could not have asked for a better team to help us pull this together and the level of personalization and communication was second to none.Also, Natalie's attention to detail was everything you hope for in a vendor partner. She was so prompt in responses, offered suggestions where needed and truly went above and beyond in making our wedding a reality. We also worked with Angie for our tasting and menu finalization, which was equally as smooth and she offered so much flexibility when it came to the ceremony/reception layout and ensuring we met all COVID safety precautions. Location and Views: A+Food/Bar: A+ (as someone who has multiple food allergies The Perry did an outstanding job ensuring all dietary requirements were met, while also serving delicious food)Day of Service: A+ (the timeline they provide was a huge help for logistics)Assistance with Planning and Timeline: A+ Hotel Blocks and Reservations: A+ (we must have changed this at least 5 times, but the team was extremely understanding and we were able to book almost half of the hotel on Labor Day weekend for our guests)COVID Precautions: A+ (not just at the ceremony/reception, but in general the hotel did an amazing job adjusting to the new normal and all of our guests felt safe)

Its a magical day to begin with when you witness your son marrying the girl of his dreams. I think we planned 4 different weddings during this past year due to covid and the restrictions that kept changing. Through it all Angie and her team worked with a mix of professionalism and compassion to handle whatever was thrown our way, including hurricane winds, torrential downpour and even a rainbow with a most beautiful sunset. The hotel staff made all our guests feel welcome and safe during these questionable times.I even heard it was the best filet anyone has ever had...and there were several foodies in attendance. If your planning a wedding up north, theres no better place to create your special day.

They kept us constantly up-to-date with regards to any pertinent policy changes, and were incredibly communicative and flexible. We worked closest with Natalie and she was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, and went above and beyond on the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. I can't recommend Stafford's enough!

The Perry Hotel has to be one of the classiest establishments in Northern Michigan and we are so fortunate we picked the Perry for our wedding! We were happy to hear they offered a value season wedding option so that we could save money, but still be at an amazing venue. The moment we met Angie during our consultation meeting, we just knew we had to get married at the Perry! Angie is so perfect at her job and made a crazy planner and worry-wort like myself feel at ease. Throughout the year of planning, we enjoyed getting to know the entire Sales Department staff and always felt at ease with how kind, courteous and lovely they were on phone or email. Our guests commented over and over again with how amazing the venue was and we couldn't agree more!! They are still talking about how amazing the Perry Hotel is. We were all so impressed with the hotel and staff - they are all top notch and wonderful!Thank you so much for being the most amazing and wonderful venue for our special day! We highly recommend if you are getting married in Northern Michigan to schedule a meeting with Stafford's Perry Hotel!

I will try and keep this short, but I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stafford’s Perry Hotel and their amazing staff. From our first meeting, to after our wedding day, they have been nothing short of amazing. My husband and I had a long engagement, and we were planning a wedding from out of town. Angie and her staff keep us right on track with wedding planning. They were attentive to my many questions, helped us find vendors, gave their honest opinions, and were respectful of our budget. They saw my vision for our wedding day and helped me run with it, making our day even more perfect than I could have imagined.Being a type A personality, I wanted all the details for our day to be perfect. After our final meeting before our wedding day, I was so at ease. The staff at Stafford’s Perry Hotel exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail. They were so welcoming and accommodating to our guests. The food and the food service were incredible. Even the bar tenders were so much fun. Since our wedding day, I cannot tell you how many compliments we have gotten about how wonderful the experience was for our guests. I could not have asked for a better wedding planning/wedding day experience, and a lot of this is attributed to Angie and all the staff at Stafford’s Perry Hotel. Our guests kept asking me how I was so calm in the final days leading up to our wedding. All I had to say was that we had the best staff taking care of things for us, and I truly believe that. There are so many places that you can choose to host your wedding at, but the staff and the service Stafford’s Perry Hotel provides is above them all. The Lake Michigan view is just an added bonus. If you want guests at your wedding to remember the entire experience-and not just one thing-host your wedding here.

I don't know where to start in complimenting these amazing people! We had our wedding on 9.14.19 at Stafford's Perry Hotel in the rose garden and it went off without a hitch! I need to give a huge shout out to Angie Whitener - who was our gal from the get go. Awesome that she actually coordinated the weddings of a few of my friends as far back as 9, 12 and 18 years ago and remembered their names and their parents names and details about their weddings. Just shows you the type of detailed and genuinely interested person she is. I was the type of bride who was more laid back and totally not stressed - probably a little too lax and she was fab at keeping me on point with timelines, etc. I also threw a curve ball at her requesting the garden be set a certain way - she did everything I asked without question and without fail! Even before the wedding we knew it would be stellar service based upon our tasting! All the food is house made and absolutely hands down delicious. I was a little nervous when we selected meatballs - thinking - 'when meatballs aren't good, they're REALLY not good'....right?! Well....whatever you do - GET THE MEATBALLS! they're fabulous! Ha ha. Shout out to the executive chef, DJ Flynn - because when it came to our wedding day everything was top notch! Honestly even the vegetable crudité - everything was hand cut and set out in a gorgeous display. We were a little out of the norm - we did not want a seated, plated meal. Nor did we want a buffet line - and Angie and the staff delivered to a TEE exactly our vision! Our prime rib carving station was perfection. The pasta stations made-to-order were to die for and we opted for an array of sweets vs a cake. Nailed that one! Everyone got like 3-7 different desserts each! Bartenders were on point and definitely kept our guests happy. The front desk staff was superb as well - welcoming all of our guests - putting the cutest darn sign in the lobby for us. As I texted Angie after everything - \"I can't thank you enough - every single staff member there was fan-f$*&ing-tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our DJ wasn't a Stafford's employee, but he as phenomenal! Shout out to Clayton at Northern Sound. But seriously a HUMONGOUS thank you and every bit of gratitude making our day truly thee most amazing day of our lives and exceeded our expectations!! The only thing I wished was that I had more $$ to go like 3 more hours!!! We feel so lucky to have had that level of service from the first email I sent off saying we were considering the venue. We thank everyone at Stafford's for creating absolute perfection. If you're considering Stafford's - I mean I definitely highly rec the rose garden because of the incredible views but don't look any further! My husband and I were married at the Perry Hotel in May. While we knew that we would have a good experience, Angie and everyone at the hotel went above and beyond every single step of the way to make sure we had the best day ever. They made sure that everything ran smoothly, from the big things down to the smallest details. We are from out of town so were not able to be hands on with every detail, but between working with Angie and the Stafford's Hospitality team and then using the vendors that they know and recommend, it made the entire process much less stressful.We wanted a wedding where everything was in one location and the Perry Hotel was perfect for that, plus you absolutely cannot beat the views. We were married outside in the Rose Garden Veranda and even though it was a chilly day, there were heaters and sides that could be used under the veranda structure so it didn't matter. We then had our reception in the HO Rose Room - we are still getting compliments on how great the dinner was and what an elegant setting it was, and again, the staff at the hotel was fantastic and took care of anything that we needed or wanted. Almost all of our wedding guests also stayed at the hotel which I would highly recommend. Such a unique, fun place to stay, plus having all of our loved ones together for the weekend was unforgettable.We for sure picked the best venue and had the BEST team for our wedding that we possibly could have. I would highly recommend!!!!

I booked this venue from Colorado, only having driven past it once... That can be scary, but what I received was far greater than exceptional. Every time I had a question it was answered promptly (I had a lot of questions as we had booked more than a year out and thousands of miles away). We arrived to Michigan a week and a half before the wedding. Our final detail meeting with the crew made me feel very at ease and even more excited for our big day. Rehearsal went smoothly and I know that Angie was my moms greatest blessing after meeting her (my mom was VERY anxious and Angie put her worries at ease.). Day of was the easiest and least stressful day of the last year and a half; and I really owe it all to the staff at Stafford’s. We were reminded of where to be and when, and it took so much stress off of myself. Their attention to detail was amazing, I showed up and was blown away by how beautiful everything was set up. During our cocktail hour family started picking at the desserts, I did not want that happening and I told Angie, she immediately went and printed a sign saying dessert is for after dinner. LIKE WHAT?!?! We also weren’t sure if we were going to be able to eat enough so I had asked Angie to save us some food. She sent up a mini fridge filled with dinner and desserts for us, we were so thankful! Our bartenders were exceptional as well; I fell in love with the Rosé they served and one of them was kind enough to bring a bottle and two glasses up to our room for me. I really cannot day enough good things about the Perry. It was the most perfect day and I’m tearing up writing how amazing the entire staff was. We look forward to Angie and her family visiting steamboat so we can take them around he mountain. If you book at the Perry you will NOT be disappointed

WOW! When our venue fell through for our August wedding late in May, we were QUITE stressed. We lucked out and landed at the Stafford's Perry Hotel in Petoskey, Michigan. It could not have been a better event. The staff and service were awesome! Kind, knowledgable, professional and insightful. (In particular the Special Events Manager, Angie, was a gem... she had some great advice and ideas to share and was VERY responsive.) As an older gay couple, we were worried a bit about 'attitude' and found the ENTIRE staff to be welcoming and gracious. Our Veranda Garden location at the hotel was truly gorgeous! With a bubbling fountain in the background and views over roses and other stunning flowers looking out over Lake Michigan, it was stunning. And the food was well prepared and tastefully presented. GO THERE but plan ahead!

Five stars truly is not enough. We got married at the Perry in July and could not have been happier with the venue or the people who work there. Specifically, we had our ceremony in the Reycraft Room while our reception was in the H.O. Rose Room. Not living in the area, there were a lot of choices for our wedding that we had to make and organize without having the benefit of being there in person. The wedding staff at the Perry are a big part of the reason our wedding still went perfectly despite planning our wedding remotely. The food was incredibly delicious. The bartenders were so excellent. The venue itself is wonderful with a fantastic view of the bay and excellent service staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our wedding weekend. We could not have been happier with our wedding at the Perry and cannot recommend them highly enough to anybody looking for a wedding venue.

I will forever cherish The Perry Hotel, not only because of the beauty of the venue but because of the people on the events team. We stumbled upon The Perry while in the Petoskey/Charlevoix areas looking for a wedding venue right on the water, which are surprisingly hard to come by in northern Michigan. We pulled off at The Perry, knowing it had to be right on the bay, and the beauty of the Rose Garden Veranda took my breath away. It was all set up for a wedding and the stunning flowers, elegant white tents and gorgeous view of Little Traverse Bay was everything we ever wanted for our wedding and more. The staff, especially Angie, went above and beyond to walk me through the event planning process, and promptly responded to all of my emails and checked in with me when necessary. Xaina and Natalie were perfect on the day of. The event ran so smoothly from start to finish, I was in complete awe. The service staff was prompt, attentive, and very kind, and the food is the best food you will ever have at a wedding, hands down! If you plan to have your wedding here, you are in super good hands with The Perry wedding pros. Thank you all so much for making our day so very special.

I can't even begin to describe how magical my wedding at the Perry was. They were absolutely amazing to work with. Every little detail was taken care of for me. The little touches they did made everything that much more special. Angie and Xaina were the best. They planned out every single minor detail and planned for EVERYTHING. I had special \"welcome bags\" made for my guests and they made sure every guest had one waiting for them in their room. I also had bags and robes for all my bridesmaids, and they made sure they were in all their rooms. Every single employee exemplified superior customer service in every way, right down to the doorman who carried all my welcome bags. I bothered the poor service desk all night with little requests and they met every single expectation. The night of the wedding the Perry surprised me with a hand painted ornament of the hotel thanking me for choosing the Perry. Little touches like that made my stay that more memorable. It was so wonderful to be able to sit back and relax and take in every moment of my wedding without worrying about the details. Xaina made sure every aspect of my wedding was taken care of and I couldn't be more grateful to the Perry staff. Choosing them for my wedding venue was the best decision I could have made. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

The Stafford's Perry hotel and their entire staff were a dream come true for our wedding reception venue. They not only prepared the most beautiful, professional and welcoming reception, but they also helped us every step of the way to plan our \"destination wedding\" in Petoskey, as we are from the Detroit area. Angie was our biggest help along the way and was so patient as I asked her a million questions, and always was looking for her advice and expertise. She was so kind and helpful through my entire wedding process. She made us feel like family. The reception itself was absolutely stunning. We rented the outdoor rose garden veranda on Labor Day weekend. Everything flowed together so beautifully and my family and guests can't stop talking about how amazing the service was. And the food was phenomenal as well, which never happens at weddings! Every plate tasted as if it was the only one made. We can't say enough about how much we loved our wedding. The Perry even sent us home with beautiful memorabilia of our wedding and the venue. Thank you so much for making our day an absolute dream come true! I can only hope one of my friends or family picks the Perry for their wedding in the future to be at an amazing wedding there again!

The Perry Hotel was the perfect reception venue for us. It was truly the best and most fun day of our lives. We were in the Rose Garden and it was raining, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. We were completely dry under the tent and the rain over the water was beautiful. The staff was great, and I can't imagine having celebrated anywhere else. It was perfect. I highly recommend it.

As the MOB, I want to recommend Stafford's Perry Hotel as a beautiful, breathtaking wedding venue. My daughter's wedding was in the Rose Garden in September and the day and weather were spectacular. The staff, especially Angie were professional, personal, and met our every need from our first meeting to the day of the wedding. I would also recommend the Perry House for the bride's family as it was wonderful to be so close to the hotel. Five starts for sure - I'd give more!!

The Stafford's Perry was the most beautiful setting for our wedding. Our wedding pictures looked like they were out of a magazine because of this venue. We had our ceremony and reception in the Rose Garden. It was the perfect backdrop for our wedding with all of the garden flowers and greenery overlooking the water. You almost didn't even need to purchase flowers from a florist because the garden has so many beautiful blooms. The staff was absolutely phenomenal to work with too. All of our guests stayed at the hotel and they kept commenting about the level of service at the Perry. It is so rare to find a place these days that put their customers first. They truly want you to have the best possible experience there. Every request was taken care of by our coordinator, Nikki. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the day run so smoothly. The food and drinks were also amazing along with the staff who served them. You will not find a better wedding meal. It felt like each plate was individually prepared, instead of the typical mass production wedding food. We also LOVED the brunch in the H.O. Rose Room the next day. All in all, this was the perfect venue and we have the best memories because of our time with them!

The crew at Stafford's Perry Hotel (and Stafford's Hospitality) went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was everything we hoped for! Nikki G. was especially easy to work with, very friendly and diligent. Even though our wedding basically kicked off a very busy wedding season for her, she still gave our wedding a ton of attention. We utilized the Rose Garden Veranda outside for our ceremony, the H.O. Rose Room inside for our reception, and also used the main lobby and Reycraft Rooms for both a welcome party the night before the wedding and a farewell breakfast the morning after. Our guests, as well as my husband and I, really enjoyed the charming feel of Stafford's Perry Hotel and property. The Noggin Room Pub in the basement was an awesome touch when entertaining a lot of guests from out of town! And the views of the harbor are hard to beat! This was a destination wedding for our guests, and it was planned from a distance, as my husband and I live several states away. Even though the planning was done from afar, the staff at Stafford's really helped fill in the gaps for us and were understanding of the fact that we had limited trips to Petoskey, MI in advance of the wedding for planning purposes. One point that could have been slightly improved was the rehearsal for the wedding. Since we had a family friend officiate our wedding (1st time officiating), I had hoped that the person assigned to help with the rehearsal from Stafford's would provide a bit more direction overall, especially since I had provided the ceremony script/process in advance to Stafford's. It felt like I was doing more of the directing/corralling of people than I had originally hoped, and it caused a bit of stress for me. Overall though - great experience working with Stafford's! I loved every second of the weekend and would highly recommend this as a venue to anyone who wants a beautiful backdrop at their wedding!

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Stafford's Perry Hotel and their staff. When we came up from downstate to tour wedding venues, Angie spent an hour with us to show us all the different options they offered. She answered a million questions and gave us so many recommendations of what to ask to other venues as well, she is such a professional. From the beginning, the people at Stafford's made the difference for us. They are all so knowledgeable, kind and willing to help in any way they can. It would literately be impossible to get better service anywhere else. We had a welcome party the night before the wedding in the Resort Room, the servers were quick with the drinks and the hors d'oeuvres were so tasty. It was nice having the option of opening the doors to be able to hear the live music playing in The Noggin Room too. We had both our wedding and reception on the Rose Garden Veranda in late June, the backdrop of the flowers and the view of the bay were stunning and all of our pictures look amazing! We added the string lights to the tent as well which really made the whole garden feel magical at dusk. The food was so, so good. We received countless compliments on the morel chicken and the beef dishes. The servers, bartenders and everyone involved were so quick to help in any way and it all came together flawlessly. We were never really worried about our wedding turning out anything other than perfect. The whole team, Angie (the wedding Yoda), Nikki and the staff are so passionate about making sure you have the day of dreams, it will turn out nothing less than exactly that!

This review is a little late but needed. The Stafford’s Perry hotel was a Bride’s dream come true. Hotel staff and wedding coordinators (Nikki and Debbie) were all so wonderful, friendly, and helpful especially planning the wedding from another state. They truly live up to their motto on hospitality. Any questions or concerns were responded in a promptly manner and beyond with recommendations ie. where to take pictures, get hair and makeup, dj/emcee, timeline, and so many more (needed for a bride).My husband and I wanted a small, intimate, winter wedding outside and we were able to accomplish that at The Stafford’s Perry. We had our ceremony outside in the Rose Garden Vernada (breath taking view of the bay even with the clear panels down) the heaters warmed up the room very nicely (grandparents were happy) and the reception to follow in the Rose Room (love the big windows overlooking the bay). The Stafford’s Perry was very accommodating and executed our wedding day vision. Our guest really enjoyed the venue as well from the transition to ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Great venue for all in one. Having ceremony and reception in the location saved time/travel and our guest still talk about it till this day. Also, for not being able to make or attend the tasting for the food prior to the big day, it ended up being delicious. Our guest had no compliments. Catering/servers execution did a great job. Having brunch the next day, that was also wonderful and tasty. It was seriously the best day ever and my husband and I highly recommend The Stafford’s Perry to capture Northern Michigan. We got married in February 2018.

We had our wedding, both ceremony and reception, at the Perry in the Rose Garden earlier this month and it could not have been more perfect. Though we live out of state, we knew we wanted to get married in Northern Michigan. We had never been to Petoskey, but the Perry looked beautiful, met our requirements (on the water and on-site accommodations for guests), and was within our budget so we decided to book a date. When we made our first visit in April for a tasting, our expectations were exceeded. The view is amazing! The planning process was very smooth- Nikki and Debbie were a pleasure to work with and made tons of good suggestions, especially regarding the timeline and flow of the evening. Many of our guests had never been to Northern Michigan, and they were blown away by the view from the Rose Garden. We've received so many compliments from guests about the food, and everyone raved about the signature cocktail the Perry's bartending staff helped put together- a \"Cherry Capital Old-Fashioned\" with local cherry bourbon. I'm so glad we chose Stafford's Perry Hotel for our wedding-- breathtaking view, delicious food, and wonderful planners who help make the day perfect.

There aren't enough good things to say about this venue. We had an absolutely perfect weekend thanks to the staff at the hotel, especially Nikki! We hosted a bridal luncheon, reception, and farewell brunch all at the Perry and each event was flawless - we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our wedding was. This venue cannot be beat - from the water views to the garden to the sunset. You will not be disappointed if you book with the Perry! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience thanks to the entire team. We can't wait to go back for our first anniversary :)

My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue for our small and intimate wedding ceremony and Stafford's Perry Hotel exceeded our wildest expectations for our wedding day! Nikki, Kayla and Angie were the best team to have taking care of every last detail. They triple checked everything and were all so calm and helpful every step of the way. Our ceremony was on the Rose Garden Veranda, on a 50 degree June day where it rained on and off all day. Stafford's staff did an amazing job at accommodating our small group and moving the ceremony under the conservatory (and turned on the heaters!) so we could still have our outdoor wedding. The space could have accommodated many more people than we had, however it didn't feel like we needed more people to fill up the space. It was perfect - even though the fog prevented us from seeing the beautiful view. Our dinner was inside the hotel at the Reycraft Room and it was delicious! My family can be very picky about their food and I am STILL hearing rave reviews from everyone about how amazing the food was!! A member of our family even requested to meet the chef and we all gave them a round of applause. (I have worked weddings at other venues, and that does not happen often!) Overall, I would recommend Stafford's Perry Hotel to anyone looking at a ceremony, reception venue and hotel all in one! It was a perfect spot for the best day!

Words cannot express how amazing the staff at the Perry were throughout our wedding weekend. Of course the venue itself is gorgeous, but what really made our wedding perfect was the seamless hard work and organization from the Perry staff, and of course the help of Angie, Debbie and Tracy leading up to our special day, and Angie’s amazing day of coordination. She had every detail covered and made sure everything went super smoothly, I hardly had to think about a thing all weekend. We have had nothing but positive comments from all of our guests about how smooth the day went! Almost every single comment was about how beautiful the day was and how impressed they were with the venue, food, and overall ambiance throughout the entire event. Not only was the staff amazing at helping with set up, take down, and everything inbetween, but the entire weekend we were there we felt like we were the main focus of the entire Perry staff. It speaks volumes to have every staff member aware of our presence as the bride and groom and to be completely catered to as such, everything was so personal and welcoming! The servers and bartenders were also amazing. We had plenty of guests comment on how fast yet conversational the bartenders were, they were so quick there was almost never a line and every guest left the bar feeling well tended to quickly and politely. Angie was also more than helpful post wedding with some billing issues and got things cleared up within 24 hours. Again, I cannot express how big a role the entire Perry staff played in creating our beautiful, dream wedding weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our experience with Stafford's Perry Hotel was absolutely incredible. As a bride and groom who wanted a semi-destination wedding but also needed a venue that could accommodate our very busy schedules was hard to find. We had our wedding on October 21, 2017 at The Perry with about 120 guests. Our ceremony was on the Rose Garden Veranda and our reception was held in the H.O. Rose Room. From start to finish Tracy and Debbie were an incredible team to work with. They kept you on track me on track as far as deadlines and answered countless questions leading up to our day. As a meticulously organized planner, my meeting with Tracy put all of my worries to at ease the week of. The level of customer service they provided was above and beyond my expectations. Tracy and team flawlessly took my months of planning and decorations and truly made it come to life. The cadence of the day of events was so smooth and they were there every step of the way. They took absolutely all of the stress off of the bride so I could relax and enjoy the day. When we left to take sunset photos on our balcony and food was being served, Tracy made sure we got fresh plated food when we returned. There's also much to be said about the food and wait staff. The food was incredible and we received countless compliments from our guests. The wait staff were also extremely polite and their service was exceptional. The garden where our ceremony was held is gorgeous and the water makes for a picturesque background. The staff here truly takes care of you, the venue itself is gorgeous and the food amazing. There is nothing more we could have asked for to make our wedding perfect. Tracy and all of those at The Perry truly deserve five stars and we can't wait to return for visits and anniversaries to come.

Watching the sunset from the rose garden with my wife was a highlight of the day. The staff was amazing and really put us at ease, we knew from day 1 we were in great hands, they thought of everything. We loved being able to walk everywhere from the hotel, we loved working with the staff, and we loved how our day turned out. We couldn't have asked for more. The compliments from all of our guests keep coming in, telling us how beautiful the wedding was, especially the venue. At the end of the day, they took care of everything during the wedding, including coordinating the ceremony and the reception. I cannot imagine having a wedding anywhere else. We will definitely be visiting again for may anniversaries in future. If you are looking for a beautiful venue, great service, and a fun atmosphere (who doesn't like Petoskey), then the Perry is the only choice in my opinion. Cannot say enough good things about the staff and service at the Perry. Every detail was taken care of -- and gorgeous. The view, the food, the decor, the flowers, the space itself ... everything was exactly what we wanted. The Perry has select packages available, but they are more than willing to work with you to tailor food/drink/linen and venue offerings to suit your needs.The staff made sure that every guest was accommodated; including unique meal requests, seating changes for elderly folks and shaded areas during cocktail hour on a hot day. And Tracy (wedding coordinator from the Perry) was absolutely incredible: took great care of us on the day-of. After our experience with Tracy, the one thing we'll always recommend to engaged couple is a COMPETENT WEDDING PLANNER. Tracy is the benchmark against which all else will be measured. We'll always look back on our wedding fondly, mostly because we got to enjoy the day and not fuss over the details.

Choosing a wedding venue was one of the most difficult aspects of our wedding planning, but choosing the Perry Hotel was a dream come true. The staff at the Perry is... there are no words. Exceptional, above and beyond, knowledgeable, joyful... none of these quite capture it. Angie and Tracy are spectacular and working with them was a delight. I was constantly amazed at how well they kept track of our wedding details (better than I did!). Their insight was always spot-on, and their kindness and passion for what they do make them a dream team. The venue itself (we were married in the Rose Garden Veranda) - there's nothing like it. Breathtaking. We had a beautiful day and watching the sunset was an absolute highlight (it's fun to scroll through facebook, so many of our guest's profile pictures are in front of 'our' wedding sunset). Being able to have our guests stay at the Perry (which itself is an adorable/amazing hotel) and walk everywhere was absolutely perfect. My family rented the Perry house, which gave us more space and made for incredible getting-ready photos. We fell in love with Petoskey and with the Perry Hotel. I promise if you see the Rose Garden Veranda on a sunny day, you won't choose any other wedding venue. I also promise it will more than live up to your expectations of your wedding day!

I highly recommend The Perry! Having moved from Michigan to Philadelphia, I was forced to plan my wedding long distance. The Perry team did an amazing job working around this hurdle. They were extremely responsive, efficient, and timely with their communications. The day before our wedding, they sat down with us and went over every detail to ensure the day went exactly as we hoped. They provide an amazing day-of coordinator, who did a perfect job keeping things moving and making sure we actually sat down to eat! Our daughter and son-in-law were married the end of July 2017 at the Perry with cocktail hour in the Rose Dining Room then we traveled down to the Rose Veranda for an outdoor reception under the tent. This was the most beautiful and perfect venue! We worked all year with the excellent staff from the Perry including Angie, Tracy, Debbie and Reg. They were so accommodating and gracious, bending over backward to make sure the evening went off without a hitch, and that it did. They really know what they are doing! Any time we had a question, they replied immediately and worked to reassure us it would go well. They were willing to try new ways of setting up for us and the band which worked great. We did not have to worry about one thing all evening thanks to Angie and Tracy. The view from the veranda is exquisite, every guest commented on how gorgeous it all was. There are not enough words to say how happy we were and to thank the entire Perry staff for a tremendous event.

To any bride-to-be reading this and considering Stafford's Perry for your wedding: You NEED to have your wedding here. They are unbelievable. Our late-October wedding was a beautiful day thanks to the sales department. Beginning on day one, Angie W was so incredibly helpful when we did our tour. We actually toured Bay View Inn initially, and mentioned to Angie we might stop at the Perry too and take a look around; she did not hesitate to drive over to the Perry and give us a tour there, as well. She answered tons of questions and gave us great information from the get-go. Angela and Debbie answered many emails for us throughout the following 6-7 months and were not difficult to contact. They responded fairly quickly during wedding season, which we appreciated. We made welcome bags for our guests and the hotel staff were happy to deliver these to rooms for us, even when we had certain ones going to certain people. Day of, the girls rented the business room to get ready, which I highly suggest doing. It is right near the door to the veranda, so it was convenient to keep things in there and have hair/makeup done in there. We had our ceremony on the Rose Garden Veranda, which is wonderful because the conservatory is heated (we were comfortable in 50s-ish weather) and it also has sides that drop to keep rain out and keep warmth in. The view of the breakwater and the lake cannot be beat. One HUGE perk about booking with the Perry is that they set up and tear down for you. We delivered our centerpieces to their office a couple days before and they had everything set up beautifully when we got to the reception. It was really nice to not have to worry about decorating the days before the wedding and also nice to not have to stay after the wedding and put everything away. Audrey was a truly amazing day-of coordinator. She's very direct but also friendly - she is extremely professional but also will make you feel comfortable. As a bride, it was great to have her there and to know that there was someone else in charge of this thing besides YOU! Our wedding ran extremely smoothly, was extremely fun, and was a beautiful event thanks to these ladies and the Perry. The staff had our names spelled out in blocks at the front desk during our wedding weekend, they had info about our wedding posted in the elevators for guests, they even left us a beautiful gift in our hotel room the night of our wedding. We booked almost all of our vendors from the preferred vendor list provided by the Perry and those vendors were incredible as well. I could never thank these ladies enough for the beautiful wedding they helped create and I love them for it!!!

The food was phenomenal, the correspondence between us and the staff was quick, easy, and they were always polite. We planned our wedding in less than 5 months, so that was important. Our day-of coordinator made sure our day went exactly how we were hoping for- she was invaluable. Did I mention the food?!! Can't over emphasize how wonderful it was. It was also great because of our date, we got to use the value season menu, which saved a lot of money. Beautiful views, awesome hotel, great staff. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Simply put, this is the best wedding location in Northern Michigan. Between the location, the views, the staff, the food, the bar service, everything--it cannot be beat. Picking the Perry Hotel, specifically the Rose Garden Veranda, for our wedding day was the best decision we could have made. Our day went off without a hitch and all of the staff--especially Evan, Audrey, and Angie--are absolute professionals and helped make our day perfect. They are so organized and helped with every little detail we had questions about. There was another wedding happening inside the hotel at the same time as ours, and as promised by the Coordinators, we would never know they were there--and we didn't! There was no mixing of groups or issues with people going to the wrong area of the hotel (it helps with one being inside and the other being outside). Family and friends are still raving about how wonderful the Perry Hotel was to have a wedding and we can't argue--it's the best!!

I could go on for hours about all of the things that were wonderful, but I think it is summed up more in the simple fact that our day went off without a hitch. The planning was a breeze with Evan's organization, and the day of was absolutely everything we could have ever imagined and more. The venue is stunning, the team is amazing, and I would have changed nothing about our day. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was, how amazing the food tasted, and how delightful the team at The Perry was. When I started the planning process I knew our vendors would be critical to helping us plan a great event. What I didn't realize was what a big part they are of your day on the day of the wedding. You want to make sure to pick someone who has got you covered and will also be enjoyable to be around! You'll get all that and so much more with The Perry.

Our day was absolutely perfect! As many couples do when planning an \"up north\" wedding, we coordinated with the Perry planners 95% through emails. And I have to say, Evan and the rest of the Perry staff, were entirely accommodating and helpful without limitations. I am an organized person, to say the least, organized almost to annoyance. With every email, Evan not only responded shortly after, but gave me as many possible options in hopes of finding an answer to each of my questions. Not only was she helpful, but continuously corresponded with me in a friendly, warm way that never showed a bit of annoyance. Not to mention, the several times we did get a chance to correspond in person, she gave the best hugs!! The day of, every single staff member we came in contact with was friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Evan, completely took care of making sure the photographer, caterer, violinist, were all on time and where they needed to be, as well as, directed the groomsmen where to go so as not to run into me and my bridesmaids before the ceremony started. We had absolutely an amazing and wonderful day. The hotel was beautiful and our guests had such a fun time. I feel so lucky to look back and remember my day as fun and perfect as it was.

Our Wedding was perfect and it was all due to the Perry and their wonderful staff. Angie and Debbie are great at with all the planning and Evan will coordinate and orchestrate your day perfectly. The Perry is beautiful inside and out. It has breathtaking views of the Bay and the grounds are perfect. The food was amazing, as good as any we have had while in Ann Arbor. Let's be honest, Wedding food is usually underwhelming at best. Ours was wonderful, and the staff was great from the servers to the bartenders. Ernest Hemingway loved the Perry, we loved the Perry and you will too!\r

Evan was our coordinator and she was amazing! We did half our planning out of state and the other half from down state and it was important we had good communication. The day of was perfect and she kept the photographer, band, and everything else on schedule and perfect. \rThe only down side was we requested a few details for them to organize such as tent lighting that we paid for but was not done (we were reimbursed). We had everything on the Rose Garden (ceremony, cocktail, and reception) and it was very nice but the set up made it difficult for half the reception to hear speeches due to lack of satellite speaker. If you have it on the veranda with a large party, just make sure your band/DJ are aware of the 'L' set up. \rOverall, we were very happy and our day was perfect! Definitely suggest this as a venue to anyone!

The staff at the Perry Hotel were incredible. Angie was always up to date with her email responses, up front with the packages and pricing, and overall a total riot to work with throughout the year! Anyone and everyone we talked to throughout the planning process either knew the answer to the question or knew how to find it out - and subsequently found it out very promptly! If we wanted to do something that had never been done before, it wasn't impossible - they figured out how to make it work. \r\rWe got married the Friday of Labor Day weekend when the Perry had three other weddings to coordinate for the rest of the weekend. It even rained on our big day, and none of this even fazed them! They were so prepared, so excited for us, and kept things moving at the right pace. \r\rI honestly can't say enough wonderful things about these people and this venue. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing - not even the rain! :)

Stafford's Perry Hotel was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding reception! The view of Little Traverse Bay is beautiful. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food, atmosphere and service. Debbie was so helpful during the planning process. Evan was fantastic the night of the reception. She was on top of everything! The night was magical!

The staff at the Perry Hotel made our wedding the most special day in our lives. They are prepared for everything that you can imagine for your wedding day. It is very hard to fit how amazing the Stafford's Perry Hotel is in just one review, But I highly recommend having a wedding ceremony and reception at this location. Not only will you have a stunning location but you will be treated with wonderful care and respect. Everything about our wedding was so amazing because of how smoothly everything was run.

My wife and I were very happy with everything at the Perry. The event planner at the hotel, Lauren, was a big help getting everything planned and together with Carolyn made sure everything went smoothly on the big day. The servers were all very friendly and the food was great. We had our ceremony in the Reycraft Room and the reception in the Rose Dining Room and everything looked great. We got married in the offseason (November) so the prices were better than the busy summer months.

My husband and I picked out Stafford's Perry Hotel for its amazing views initially and then discovered how amazing their whole staff was in the process! Our wedding planning had to be done through e-mails and over the phone, since we are from the Detroit area. All of the ladies (Angie, Debbie, Lauren, Rachel) were my angels! They helped troubleshoot any bumps in the road throughout the planning process and a couple big bumps on the actual wedding day! Carolyn and her staff that run the dining room were exceptional also! We had prepared our centerpieces and decorations in advance. My sister and I had discussed the set up with Carolyn/Angie and the staff briefly and when I walked in and saw everything set up, I seriously had tears in my eyes because it was so beautiful! I couldn't have asked for anything more! I have nothing but high praise for all of the staff at Stafford's Perry Hotel. I would encourage anyone looking to have an up north wedding to use Stafford's Perry Hotel. If I had to choose and plan everything all over again, I would choose Stafford's Perry Hotel! Thank you! We got married in the rose garden and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Guests raved about the garden and enjoyed the sunset after dinner. We were very happy with the atmosphere. \r\rCocktail hour was a hit because we were able to choose two drinks that were served to the guests as they came back from the all guest porch picture. The food was very good and the serving staff was dependable, there were no issues during dinner. \r\rLastly, the coordinators made the day itself smooth and stress free. This was especially impressive since we live in Wisconsin and had to do all of our planning via email. \r\rThe one downside is that the Perry is very expensive for guests and definitely came in at the top of our budget. Make sure to crunch the numbers and dig into the details before deciding on this venue.

We have nothing but great things to say about our wedding experience at the Stafford's Perry Hotel! Our wedding took place in early September, outside on the Rose Garden Veranda, beautiful location! The onsite wedding coordinators were so helpful throughout the process, very professional and experienced, just an absolute pleasure to work with! They took care of everything, which allowed us to really relax that day and enjoy every minute of our wedding! Dinner was outstanding, accompanied by a staff that provided great service throughout the entire night! Our guests continue to tell us how much they enjoyed the evening, complimenting the food, the great service and the beautiful views.\rWe are so happy we chose the Perry Hotel for our wedding, it was truly a wonderful experience!
