Mrs. Andrea as HERSELF is a 10/10. Her venue, attention to detail, gentle heart, and motherly love has made this venue one I will forever cherish and recommend to everyone we know. She was always there when I needed her or was eager to help in anyway possible. She made my wedding as beautiful as it could be! It’s been over a month and I still get compliments on how amazing everything was. Food was amazing, dancing never stopped, she was attentive in every way possible. Noah and I, TRULY, love her and could never thank her enough for everything.

If I could describe my experience at Stage 1 Weddings & Receptions I would say AMAZING! I had a wonderful experience. This was the best fit for my husband and I because when we met Andrea we feel in love. She was there for us from the beginning and even reached out to us after the wedding. The venue is in the perfect place and has wonderful food. You do not have to worry about anything when you arrive or throughout the day. My family is still talking about how wonderful the day was and how efficient everything went. I could not recommend them enough.

Our guests are still raving about the food months later and telling us how amazing the reception was. Andrea really knows how to make a bride and groom feel special. We can't thank Stage 1 enough for bringing our dream wedding to a reality.

I am so happy I chose stage 1 as my wedding venue! Andrea made my day amazing. Everything ran smoothly and was beautiful. The months leading up to my date were challenging for me, but she eased away my stress and provided help along with words of encouragement. When she says her main focus is the bride and the groom she means it! And I was extremely appreciative of it. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and everything flowed together. My guest all raved how much they enjoyed themselves and the food. If I could do it all again I would make the same decision. Andrea made sure the day was amazing for my husband and I. The moment my mother and I visited Stage I for a tour, we knew it was the one for my big day! Mrs. Andrea handled every request, was punctual, and had my wedding ceremony flowing so smoothly so my hubby and I could enjoy our day! As Mother of the Bride, I appreciated how her statement to me that I wouldn’t have to stress about anything became my reality. For a whole year of planning, I did not stress. Andrea was always there to assure me that all would be well. Her planning was quite strategic and accurate. Her pleasant attitude was always assuring with an extra pop of motivation. She coordinated with me all details and guaranteed they would meet the standard we had set for our occasion. They did. The smooth transition from the wedding ceremony to the reception, in the same space, was a key to getting valued time for the money. Her staff was phenomenal in getting the venue set up. Nothing was missed. For the last minute changes, thank you. For allowing for decrease in contracted numbers due to COVID, thank you. I applaud Andrea Rivet-Young and her staff for a job well done. This venue gave me everything I wanted for my wedding. It was very stress free and our coordinator Andrea made sure everything went on time and as planned. It seems like a lot of money but they include everything except the flowers, cake and of course your attire. I didn’t have to worry about a thing which is just what you want planning a wedding. Stage 1 takes a lot off of your back to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. I got compliments on the food the most. The staff was very attentive and super nice. The bridal suite was cozy and warm and my husband loved the grooms room. Table arrangements were very elegant and have a lot to choose from. Very pretty table runners with a lot of colors to match yours. My family really appreciated that we didn’t have to set up or clean up a thing. Just the whole event if made to what the bride and groom want. I’m very glad we chose Stage 1 for our wedding venue.

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about Stage 1! I am so incredibly happy we chose this venue for our wedding reception. From start to finish, Andrea was just a joy to work with. We had chosen our date long before Covid was an issue, and we did not want to change dates. Andrea did everything possible to accommodate us and make our guests feel safe. When looking at venues, one of Stage 1’s biggest selling points for us was the huge dance floor, and we were especially glad to have that extra space when social distancing mandates came into play. Even while following COVID protocols, she truly helped us have the most normal reception possible! She literally took care of everything so that the reception flowed smoothly. We always had a drink in hand and a plate of food ready for us at our table! The food was outstanding, and all of our guests are still commenting on how good the food was and that it was the best wedding reception they’d ever been to! We were thankful that Andrea packed up the remaining food which we ate later that night once we arrived to our hotel. She even included a honeymoon basket full of goodies and thoughtful touches! We appreciated her willingness to incorporate various cultural traditions into our reception that helped to make it the perfect day! Andrea truly does offer an all-inclusive venue where everything is included and taken care of, which left me more time to focus on planning the other details of my wedding. Thank you, Andrea, from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!!!

We got married during Covid 19. Before the pandemic we had 150-200 people coming to the wedding and then half of the list did not want to come out of fear. Ms. Andrea worked with us to help take away my stress and was flexible in this unprecedented time! During the reception here she always made sure we had food and drinks for us. The food was DELICIOUS and decorations were beautiful. The dj, food, decorations, were included with the venue which made things so easy to plan. Everything was perfect and we had such a fun and memorable night!

She made our entire year of planning so so stress free, she always kept us calm when I thought I was losing it. My daughter reception was everything she and her fiance dreamed of, very professional in every area of the reception, Mrs. Andrea was so compassionate and caring at all times and her entire staff, very friendly. She’s sure to make sure you enjoy yourself and relieves all of the pressure of what could go wrong. I’m so thankful that I was able to have my wedding at Stage 1 and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go any place else!

My husband and I had the absolute, most amazing, beautiful, and perfect wedding day! This experience was made possible by many people, especially Ms. Andrea. She made sure our reception flowed smoothly and the exact way we had wished and hoped for! Ms. Andrea made great suggestions for the order of events such as when to take photos, when to perform dances, and reminding us to take in the moment and have fun! Her experience with special occasions is evident and a huge reassurance on such a big and special day! Ms. Andrea made sure all of our many guests were attended to and happy. However, she was especially concerned with my husband and I, she made sure we were beyond satisfied the whole evening. She even allowed us to spend an afternoon practicing our first dance in the ballroom a few days prior to the wedding! We could not have fathomed a better venue to celebrate the most important day of our relationship thus far together! Thank you Stage One and Ms. Andrea!! We loved every moment and will cherish them forever!!

My wedding on 10/08/2017 Stage 1 did an extra exceptional job with our wedding. In spite of hurricane Nate possibility hitting on the same date and around the time of our wedding Ms. Andrea and her staff were awesome. Everything was organized , clean, set up beautifully. The food was delicious all across the board. As a Bride I didn’t have to worry about anything Ms. Andrea made sure the groom and I were taken care of from every angle. The basket she sent us away with was right on time after all the pictures and greeting my husband and I did. I’m considering having my daughters graduation party there in a few months.

Andrea is AMAZING!!! She told me that myself and my mom would never have to lift a finger during the wedding and she was right! She had everything set up beautifully before I arrived! She helped corral all of my family and bridal party for pictures. Brought us some of everything to eat. And it was delicious!! My glass was never empty and neither was my husband's. And at the end of the night, our car and my mother's car was packed with food, decorations and our gifts! I would recommend her to everyone!!

I am completely stunned about how amazing smoothly everything went! Mrs.Andrea made sure that my wedding was everything I ever dreamed of! She helped me finding the perfect music for your wedding! She definitely treated me as I was family. I felt so special on my wedding. As they would bring drink and food to me! When I needed another drink they already had one coming out for me! I've gotten so any complement on how beautiful and how amazing the food was! If I ever had to choose this place again I so would! All the friends that are engaged that came said they definitely want to have their wedding at Stage 1! I can just keep going on about everything of my special marriage here! She was so helpful and made sure I was stress free by making sure I knew what to expect. The things offered at Stage 1 can't be found anyplace else. From the beautiful reception hall, wonderful staff, delicious food and overall experience it is unlike any other place. Getting married at Stage 1 was the best decision I made!!!

It's a blessing to have my wedding reception at Stage 1. Originally, my reception was at another place, but due to flooding, I had to change my wedding and reception places. And thank God that Stage 1 did have availability for the time when I would like my reception to be. When I first walked in stage 1 the feeling that I felt, and the humble spirit Andrea showed, I knew right then that my wedding would be there. Through my wedding planning journey I was able to visit several places, but not a person I met made me feel as comfortable as Andrea did. My wedding day was truly a dream come true. I didn't have to worry about anything because I knew if there was a problem Andrea would take care of it. The building was beautiful, the food was spectacular, the service was by far the best I have experienced. We are a little over 2 months into our marriage and our guest are still raving about how beautiful our wedding was. The food was even delicious the following day at our gift opening party. There are no words that I can say to express how thankful I am to have come across Andrea, and for all she has done for me during this process. If anyone would like pure professionalism, great service and a carefree wedding day, please take the time out and visit Stage 1. I gained a friend when I met Andrea. Stage1 made our night perfect! They handled everything, and I had a wonderful night. Andrea coordinated everything from drop off times to picture taking. The food was amazingly delicious. The DJ was perfect. All of my friends and family told me it was the best wedding they had been to especially the food. I had a wonderful night knowing everything was being handled without worries. I would certainly reccommend Stage1 to anyone for weddings or large events.

The DJ was perfect. All of my friends and family told me it was the best wedding they had been to especially the food. I had a wonderful night knowing everything was being handled without worries. I would certainly reccommend Stage1 to anyone for weddings or large events.

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and reception!!! Everything was perfect! Stage 1 made our special day everything we wanted and more. I'm so glad we chose this venue. The staff was wonderful and they took great care of us. Andrea was our coordinator and she was always available leading up to our wedding to address any questions or concerns. She was there to help calm me down and reassure me when I was stressed. And she was just as excited as we were, if not more, about our big day. I love her!!! She made sure we were happy and enjoyed our day. Thank you so much!!!!

From the moment I walked in for a viewing, I knew this would be the place where I would get married. The place is immaculate! I'm a very picky person, and I pay attention to EVERY SINGLE DETAIL the ballroom floors are shiny, the walls are clean, the bathroom is clean, the Entire place is clean. That means a lot to someone like me. This venue takes away the headache of trying to find different vendors as everything is inclusive: The DJ, food, venue, etc. The day of the wedding Andrea never left my side. She catered to my every need, and made me feel at ease. She reassured me everything was going to be ok, despite the horrible weather that took place that day. The food was great, the guests had a vast variety to choose from. She sent my husband and I away with a nice basket full of goodies and a nice bottle of wine. I can go on and on because I'm long winded, LOL. If you're looking for a one stop shop, Stage1 is definitely the place.

Everyone says they have never experience a wedding reception such as the one Andrea and her team presented in honor of my daughter Tatiyana Curry and her husband, Warren Brown. Andrea clearly understood the challenges of putting on a wedding and reception of excellence, and the challenges that come with doing so. When looking for an indoor venue in the heat of the Louisiana summer and NOT in the downtown area. This venue was all that it needed to be. The staff was able to take away all of my worries and concerns, they work with you on any ideas you may have to make your dream come true. Before the wedding I made 30 wine bottle center pieces and Mrs. Andrea let me drop them off at the venue days before so that was one thing checked off my list. If there are certain beer or alcohol that you and your guest prefer it is no big deal to change that one the menu. THE food was amazing along with our chocolate fountain which our guests truly enjoyed to. \r\rThe package also includes so many things, Set up, clean up, table linens, chair covers, wait staff, cake cutting, even includes a DJ. I loved my night and it was so stress-free. Andrea was basically my own wedding planner keeping track of the time in order to get everything accomplished for the night. After the night was over as I went back to my hotel as husband and wife, we got \"to go plates\" where we finally got to sit and enjoy the rest of our food together, it couldn't have been more perfect

We had our wedding at Stage 1 in December 2014. It was AWESOME to say the least. It was everything (and more) that we could have imagined our wedding day would be like. I had heard horror stories of brides who said that something will always go wrong on your wedding day. With Andrea and the Stage 1 staff.....this did not happen! Andrea was so organized and made sure that every wish and want that we had on our \"list\" happened smoothly and efficiently. I am a planner and like for things to be organized, so when we went in for our first meeting and found out that Andrea was the same way, it was a definite YES that we had to have our wedding at Stage 1. I highly recommend Stage 1 to any bride out there who wishes for her wedding day to be perfect and flawless!

mrs.andria is by far the most professional..considerate and caring wedding coordinator that i have ever had the honor of meeting!!her commitment to my bride and myself was well beyound that of the average coordinator..she actualy took our wedding and made it into a real live fairytale event!!the staff at stage 1 provided a stress free atmosphere which was absaloutly phenominal!!!ms.andrea went above and beyound by offering ideas and instituting some of her own which ultimatly thrilled and delighted myself..my wife as well as all guest who were avalible!..the dj played an assortment of music which kept the guest entertained throughout the ceremony..the stafff was curtious and exstremely helpfull in serving the guest and cleaning afterwaeds!!stage1 is the ultimate in weddings and nobody..as far as we are concerned even comes close ...i,ve exsperienced the most joyous event in my life without one single thing going wrong and i will forever be one of her most out spoken supporters..stage1..where weddings are done right ..the first time around..see you in 10 years..for our 10 year anniversary..would,nt dream of having it any where else!!!!!!!and as an after thought...we didn,t pay enough for the cervice that we recieved..it truly was a fairytale come true..thanks to mrs.andrea and her stage1 staff!!

For the amount of money we spent, I was very disappointed in the service we received. In the initial appointment, we were told how accommodating they were. How they cater to the bride, groom and parents. However, they were difficult to deal with. Did not want us to incorporate our colors. Nor would they make any concessions to help with the decor we brought. Very rude to several of us. Even controlled the photographer. Rushed us through pictures. Never once checked on me. I would never recommend them or any of their other businesses. They treat you one way to get you in and completely change once they have you. They also booked two weddings that day. So we literally had 1 and a 1/2 hours to decorate and do rehearsal. They paid someone to tie on their white chair sashes. But would not tie the wedding color ones on because I did not rent them from them. So we had to take all the white ones off and tie on 200 of ours during that hour too. So therefore I did not get to spend any time with my son or daughter-n-law before the wedding. I did not even see them toast them or the cake cutting. So much for being accommodating. And pampering us moms. Highly disappointed!!!!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Andrea and the staff at Stage-1! She was very professional, friendly, and personable to me and my family! Her assistant who DJ our wedding did so good mixing in our music with theirs making the wedding fun for everyone. The assistant also made me feel very comfortable as I waited to come down the stairs to my intro song! :) The night flowed perfectly and I am still getting comments about how beautiful the wedding was! Hey Beautiful Brides-to-Be! \rPicking a venue is such a huge decision and in a city the size of Baton Rouge, it can be a little daunting. I'm always skeptical of reviews because you never know who is posting them, but I just wanted to share my honest thoughts from our experience with Stage 1 Weddings and Receptions in May 2014...I hope that you find the perfect place for you (and hopefully hearing about our experience might help you decide!).\r\rFirst of all, Andrea (wedding coordinator, lifesaver, wonderful human being...) is absolutely one of the biggest draws to the venue! She made our day become a priceless memory that I know we will treasure forever. She handled every detail, helped me make decisions, respected my opinions completely, and ensured that my husband and I had fun at the reception! She made everything flow perfectly, didn't allow me to stress over anything, and was a wealth of knowledge on making everything work out in the best possible way. I am definitely a Type-A control freak, yet felt completely at ease with her insight and professional experience, which allowed me to not worry in the least. I trusted it would be perfect, and my expectations were exceeded. You know someone truly cares when you receive an email the night before with pictures to give you an exciting glimpse of your personal decor! On top of all of those wonderful things, working with Andrea was like working with someone you had known your whole life and someone who always has your best interest at heart. That factor was really to me in that the person I worked with would share a huge part in our wedding day memories. \r\rSecond of all, the food was phenomenal. Every few days someone tells me how much they loved our reception and how impressive and yummy the food was! There was also plenty for our guests to be completely satisfied. Despite being fixed delicious looking plates, we didn't eat at the reception (besides the traditional bite of cake!) but our take-home basket was filled with the delicious treats and was enough to feed us for the rest of the weekend for sure! \r\rI decided to create my own centerpieces (I had a certain idea I always wanted) and so once I completed them, I dropped them off. The Stage 1 staff ensured that they were assembled and perfect when we arrived for our reception. That was a huge blessing and was exactly as I imagined. \r\rAlso, I thought the DJ did a great job. The music was fun, yet not crazy! She handled everything all on her own (no input from me) and I was not disappointed in the least! \r\rLastly, I adored the venue for how gorgeous it is. The breathtaking chandelier in the ballroom, the covered chairs, the grand piano, granite counter buffet, entrance, patio, and the timeless wooden staircase were special details that I loved. Perhaps my favorite part though is the fact that the ballroom maintains that soft evening glow all the time. We had a 1pm reception and you never would have known! It adds even more class to the already classy venue, in my opinion! \r\rClearly, I would recommend choosing Stage 1 to anyone who asks. I didn't exaggerate on how much we (and everyone who came) loved the reception! We honestly were blessed beyond belief to find Andrea and the venue. The Stage 1 staff ensured that they were assembled and perfect when we arrived for our reception. That was a huge blessing and was exactly as I imagined. \r\rAlso, I thought the DJ did a great job. The music was fun, yet not crazy! She handled everything all on her own (no input from me) and I was not disappointed in the least! \r\rLastly, I adored the venue for how gorgeous it is. The breathtaking chandelier in the ballroom, the covered chairs, the grand piano, granite counter buffet, entrance, patio, and the timeless wooden staircase were special details that I loved. Perhaps my favorite part though is the fact that the ballroom maintains that soft evening glow all the time. We had a 1pm reception and you never would have known! It adds even more class to the already classy venue, in my opinion! \r\rClearly, I would recommend choosing Stage 1 to anyone who asks. I didn't exaggerate on how much we (and everyone who came) loved the reception! We honestly were blessed beyond belief to find Andrea and the venue. I couldn't imagine having had our reception anywhere else. \r\rBlessings and goodluck in choosing a venue! \r

The venue is also very elegant. My wedding planner/coordinator/owner made our wedding a dream come true. Stage 1 was awesome to work with. I arrived late, my cd didn't work of the music that I gave them and some how they turned that hazard to a miracle. The DJ brought all the songs I requested that they didn't have and even though I was late everything still went as planned. Everyone told me how professional and nice the venue was. I've been married for a year now and all of my guest are still talking about how great everything was. Stage 1 took care of everything.They packed all my gifts and extra food in the car. Stage 1 was the perfect place to have my wedding. The place is amazing, and Christi was fantastic everything was elegant and chic. Christi so much to make my day very special and I really appreciated it. Originally we had no plans for a cash bar, but Christi gave it to us at no additional charge. Again she was amazing. I had my wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful!! Food was delicious! Music selection was perfect! Could not have asked for a more helpful Coordinator! I was complemented by all my guest on how beautiful everything was. It is a very elegant place with perfect lighting for the photographer to capture all those special moments that will last a lifetime. If I had to do my wedding all over again I would definitely stick with Stage One as my venue.

I had my wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful!! Food was delicious! Music selection was perfect! Could not have asked for a more helpful Coordinator! Our experience with Stage 1 was great!!! They did everything we mentioned in our meetings. Extremely organized!! My Husband and I were catered to the whole night of our wedding!! All I can say as I look back on the planning and the actual reception is \"WOW!\" From the moment I went in to talk to Andrea and to view the building I felt welcomed and at home. She was nothing but helpful and encouraging to me as I was very unorganized. She even helped me plan out the wedding ceremony, even though my wedding was not being held at Stage One. Andrea helped me plan out every detail for my reception and made sure we were not missing anything. She also made sure everything was the way I have always dreamt of. On the wedding day, everything went more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Everything was organized and BEAUTIFUL! I am still, three months later, getting compliments on how beautiful and amazing my reception was. \rThank you to Andrea for everything. I could not have picked a better person to work with or a better place to have my reception. I recommend Stage One to anyone looking to have a great wedding or reception.

Our wedding reception was held at Stage 1 Catering. We selected Stage 1 because I wanted a \"turn key\" ready all inclusive venue that was not only beautiful but could handle all of my wedding needs. Stage One greeted us on our first visit with a smile and open arms. We weren't happy with our original reception hall and we felt so much better after just one visit to Stage One. We booked right away and haven't regretted it for a second. They asked In detail exactly how I wanted my reception to look and they granted each and every wish. The room was set up by them and looked fabulous! We were given a going away basket at the end of the night which included cake, fruit, cheese, pasta, dips, sandwiches, etc. The bride and groom and our families were taken care of all night. We were brought food and drinks. No standing in line for us! If you are thinking of renting a \"cheap\" hall , decorating it yourself and hiring an outside caterer like I thought, please please think again! Stage One does all this for you at the same cost if not cheaper. No stress, no worries! Just good times with your family and friends! I highly recommend Stage One to anyone looking to have a nice event in a beautiful, spacious reception hall!

The place is beautiful and I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. All the included extras made things easy and less expensive. The problem with the place is the woman that runs it. Very overbearing and over opinionated. Very difficult to deal with her!

this review is for stage one, catering. the facility is beautiful, the staff was spectacular, and the food tasted great as well. andrea (the wedding coordinator) is a great help, but she does get a little snippy courteously. the one thing that i suggest to any and everyone have your own counter at the door, she has her counters but i have found out that there are a large amount of people who have outrageous overages at the end of their event. so to make sure you are getting what you paid for count your OWN people.
