Upon first glance, The Stan Mansion fools the eye. Our historical venue is a hidden gem on Logan Square's famous residential Boulevard. Within the stunning gated garden, you'll find 2 elegant ballrooms, a Versailles Palace inspired bar, a dance floor that never closes, and a Proscenium stage perfect for your favorite band. If you are in the need for a venue unlike any other, Stan Mansion might just be the wedding venue of your dreams. Built in 1920 and completely restored, Stan Mansion is located in the historic and charming Logan Square, which is recognized as one of the oldest neighborhoods in Chicago. Nominated as one of the 10 most gorgeous venues by Secret Chicago and #1 “Chicago’s Top 25 Wedding Venues (2022)” by Wedding Rules , Stan Mansion is an extravagant choice for your wedding. The Grand Ballroom, on the second floor, accommodates up to 300 guests for a sit-down event and up to 400 guests for a cocktail event. The space lies below 32 ft high ceilings, and 9 crystal chandeliers. Imagine walking down the aisle, your fairytale wedding coming true. The wonders don't stop there, the space is completed by our elegant stage; the perfect place for saying "I do". Later in the night, on the same stage, the performance of your favorite musicians or stage-acts are to follow. Adjacent to the Main Ballroom you will find our Bar/Lounge area; this space is masculine yet romantic and the eclectic fireplace will remind you of Versailles palace. The stunning bar, is original to the building when it was first built, making it over 100 years old! It's the perfect place to grab a drink and hang out with your closest friends. Our Crystal ballroom, located on the 1st floor, is the perfect backdrop for your intimate Ceremony or boisterous Cocktail Hour. Included within the rental, is a beautiful baby grand piano. The beauty doesn't stop there, the crystal ballroom is decorated with plentiful amount of chandeliers, the perfect frame to your alter. Just for you, Stan Mansion has teamed up with some of the most amazing vendors to create an unforgettable wedding experience. As a woman owned and run business, Stan Mansion is fully committed to providing a safe space where people of all genders, races, ethnicities and sexual orientations can come and feel at home. We provide a venue for members of the LGBTQ community to get married, families of any religious or ethnic background, are all welcome at Stan Mansion. Stunning architecture and gorgeous foliage, kind and knowledgeable staff, and plenty of space for those looking for a larger wedding or event!The owner, Cera, is the queen of weddings! There is a reason Stan Mansion has so many awards, Cera knows everything about weddings and is always willing to share what she knows to her brides and grooms!Our day of coordinator, Aleya, was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, organized, and creative - even making sure things happened that I forgot I wanted! She kept us at ease throughout the whole process, making sure everything was perfectly in place. Her and Reagan made sure our wedding was decorated perfectly (all I did was drop off a bunch of random decor and they made it stunning) and all little things were accounted for. We couldn’t have had such an amazing wedding without the help of Stan Mansion’s extraordinary staff!

We discovered Stan Mansion through The Knot, and from our initial meeting with Cera Stan and her team, we knew it was the ideal venue for our wedding.During our first encounter, they graciously addressed all our initial questions, even providing a list of recommended vendors that proved invaluable in kickstarting our planning process. Thanks to their suggestions, we secured an exceptional caterer, DJ, and decorator, all of whom played a pivotal role in making our day everything we had envisioned.We also chose to work with one of Stan Mansion's onsite wedding coordinators, Aleya Huebner, a true collaborator and professional in every sense of the word. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Aleya met with us multiple times. Each meeting was marked by her thorough preparation, addressing all our questions and concerns, and leaving us with a clear list of action items to work on. Every time we left for the day, we felt more and more confident our wedding was going to be a success. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without Aleya!Easily the best perk of choosing Stan Mansion is that you receive full access to the entire building! This includes the downstairs ballroom which we used for our rehearsal and cocktail hour, the spacious multi-room bridal suite upstairs for the entire wedding party to get ready and relax, and the stunning grand ballroom and bar for our ceremony and reception. Having the entire space to ourselves created a safe and comfortable environment for our wedding party and guests to truly enjoy and celebrate.We will forever be grateful to Stan Mansion for helping us making our dreams come true. We got married slightly in the off-season and pricing was fair and more competitive than other venues we were eyeing. There is so much possibility at the Stan Mansion between the Grand Ballroom, the Versailles Bar, and the downstairs ballroom, and Cera and team are so flexible in helping you arrange and organize your event in whatever way works best for you and your guests. The bridal suite is a great bonus - a fully furnished 2 bed 2 bath apartment where you can get ready comfortably in the morning just a few steps away.We are deeply grateful to Cera, Aleya, and the rest of the staff at Stan Mansion for all their help along the way, and for making this a truly special, memorable day. SM was the first venue we toured. It is a very unique venue, a 1920's historic Chicago mansion and we knew it would have the unique charm we sought for our wedding day. We had our ceremony in the downstairs ballroom that was gorgeous with draping on the back wall, cocktail hour in the bar, and the reception in the ballroom. Stan Mansion was an incredible venue! It was so unique compared to the many other common wedding venues, and there were beautiful spaces all over the mansion to use for our wedding! Also they offer a massive 2 bedroom apartment upstairs as a bridal suite on site that was incredible. We also used their in house coordinator Aleya to run our wedding and she was an absolute rockstar! She was so sweet and did such a great job helping us plan everything; and then on our wedding day she handled everything like a pro! You are in great hands with her and the venue's other recommended vendors! We can't express enough how thrilled we were with our experience, it was truly the wedding of our dreams!

We first visited Stan Mansion on a date to one of those Candlelight Concerts. I couldn't believe this amazing venue was tucked in Logan Square. The building is gorgeous. Like, so beautiful. I knew I wanted to get married there. The centerpiece of our whole experience was Cera. We walked in and instantly became fast friends. Cera is funny and brilliant. A true expert in her field. Cera and her dream team created the most romantic, intimate setting for our wedding. Our guests raved about everything. It was a literal dream. You won't regret booking this venue!

We used Stan Mansion as our venue for our NYE wedding and it was incredible. I fell in love with Stan Mansion when we first visited it. t is truly beautiful and such a unique venue. All of our wedding guests were blown away by it. We had our ceremony in the downstairs ballroom and our reception upstairs. The owner Cera is really great and helpful and always has recommendation for other vendors that she likes to work with. Cera Stan was a huge asset as we planned our wedding, including a very helpful list of suggested vendors. Her staff, Aleya especially, were so valuable on the day of the wedding and did a wonderful job with the room flip for our ceremony and reception. Stan Mansion was an incredible value as well-- the getting ready suite, beautiful decor and ability to hire your own liquor vendor helped us save money in a few ways and still have a beautiful wedding. Cera and Aleya were amazing to work with, so I highly recommend going with the day-of-planner when booking Stan Mansion. It is worth it for the ease of planning up to the day of and then on the day, no stress all the way up until the end of the night. The venue is perfect for ceremony and reception combo venue as well, and everything ran so seamless for our ceremony then cocktail hour and then reception all in the same venue. Pure perfection of a venue and staff that work there! Highly, highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Her list of vendors was extremely useful in that we used most of their recs & everything truly went so smooth! The bridal suite was such a spacious and beautiful space to prep for our ceremony. The bar area was so spectacular and perfect for cocktail hour - so many guests love taking photos in front of the gorgeous fireplace. Because this space has so much detail and historical charm, outside decor was minimal which made it so much easier for us. What an incredible venue, it was truly a dream!!

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and super spacious for ~150 guest, we had a band on stage and literally danced all night! Everyone was so in love with the venue, especially the giant bridal suite. It made getting ready so easy, we arrived at 9am and left at midnight and loved every second! Logan Square is also such an important neighborhood to us and getting to share that with our guest made everything even better. Can’t wait to be back for a candlelight show so we can remanence 💕

It was a DREAM to get married at the Stan Mansion. We were originally scheduled to get married July 2020 but has reschedule…multiple times. Cera, Kathy, and the Stan Mansion team were so supportive during the whole process of delays due to the pandemic. When the big day finally came, Cera was genuinely excited for usSpecial shout out to Kathy who was a total BOSS of a day-of coordinator. She checked in on our nerves, kept us on schedule, and coordinated the decorations perfectly. The Stan Mansion is a beauitful venue for your wedding ceremony and reception. I cannot recommend it enough. We were also lucky enough to get the bridal suite the night before and I got to have a sleepover when my mom, sister, and niece. Regardless, it’s also a great staging area to get ready with your bridal party.

It was a DREAM to get married at the Stan Mansion. We were originally scheduled to get married July 2020 but has reschedule…multiple times. Cera, Kathy, and the Stan Mansion team were so supportive during the whole process of delays due to the pandemic. What a wonderful time we had at Stan Mansion for our big day. Our guests were raving about what a great backdrop it provided both for photos and our celebration in general. The Stan Mansion was such a WONDERFUL place to have our wedding. The venue is beautiful. It’s not in perfect condition because it’s hard with historic landmark status to do modernization projects, but we absolutely loved the vibe and feel throughout the building. In that regard, there are no elevators and that can be a hassle for some guests if they are severely limited in their movement. Cera is always fixing/adding things and making it even better. Between when we booked and when we had our wedding, new chandeliers were installed on dimmer switches in the main ballroom and they looked beautiful. We used the downstairs ballroom for our ceremony and had an outside company do some drapery down there, but Stan has a basic drapery setup installed and it’s not completely necessary if you don’t want to. It was a perfect size for the ceremony. We used the bar on the 2nd floor for happy hour, it is probably our favorite room in the entire venue and the pictures we took there turned out spectacular. The main ballroom is gorgeous with soaring ceilings and a beautiful stage. On-site they have a coat check, bridal suite (spacious and very updated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment), lots of potential decor items, and a wonderful staff. There is a parking lot they can rent for you a couple blocks away, which is hard to find in the city if you’re not at a big hotel. We got married this past December and the exterior of the venue was decorated beautifully with holiday touches. The decor looked AMAZING in all of our pictures! And it’s all situated on a beautiful boulevard in Logan, it doesn’t get more picture-perfect than the Stan Mansion.Cera (owner) and Kathy (day-of coordinator) were both excellent and always on top of everything. A few very minor things went wrong the day of, and between the two of them they were immediately remedied. Cera clearly loves her property dearly, she’s the perfect person to own a beautiful vintage event space. Kathy was always good about getting back to us in a timely manner and helped organize the day flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, I was expecting to have to help make sure a lot of different things happened, but Kathy was constantly on top of it and any time I tried to ensure a task was completed, she had already done it. I was extremely nervous on our wedding day for things to run smoothly and with Kathy taking care of things that anxiety went away and I was able to focus on enjoying our day to the fullest. Kathy took care of every small detail, including making sure my dress looked picture perfect for my walk down the aisle. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator to keep everything running smoothly.Our wedding day was beautiful in large part because of the Stan Mansion and their staff. We really appreciate all of the work that went into making the day go off without a hitch :)

We searched far and wide in the city of Chicago for a wedding venue that was unique and affordable for our event. The moment we walked into Stan Mansion, we knew we wanted to book it. We felt we had seen numerous venues around the city that were essentially copies of themselves over and over again. They were nice, but there was nothing memorable or special about them. They all seemed very similar and forgettable. Stan Mansion was anything but. The location, curb appeal, and Gatsby-esque aesthetic are all extremely unique and exactly what we were looking for. After the booking, the team at Stan Mansion was extremely approachable, professional, and responsive - even when the pandemic delayed our event by over a year. The team at Stan helped us reschedule the event, helped coordinate with our vendors, and made sure we did not feel forgotten about. Oh - and they recommended us Ovy Catering, who did an incredible job. Between the unique aesthetics of the venue, professionalism, and wedding industry connections, we cannot recommend Stan Mansion more for your event. Multiple guests told us they will never forget our wedding and the venue played a huge part in that. Thank you Stan Mansion.

When my wife and I were looking at different venues, we did so by different tiers based on the pricing. We stopped by other venues before going to Stan Mansion, and while adequate for our needs, were missing that special something. None of them quite jumped out as us as the one we envisioned, and we almost gave up on the idea that any venue would live up to the vision we had; that is, until we went to Stan Mansion. Located in Logan Square, this venue is tucked away and is unassuming at first. You can walk past it and will never imagine it is a venue. However, right as you enter the main doors of the mansion, you are welcomed into a gorgeous, sophisticated, and beautiful space. We got a chance to tour the entire mansion, and each room, from the main ballroom to the bridal sweet to the bar area, was like something straight out of our imagination. We knew we absolutely needed to go with this location as our wedding venue just for the sheer elegance and vibrance of the place, but on top of that, we were provided great wisdom by the lovely Cera Stan along with the in-house wedding coordinator, Kathy, we included. Both of them did a absolutely fantastic job guiding us throughout the process, and also offered excellent recommendations for other vendors, a few of which we ended up going with and were not disappointed by either! The day of the event, because of the ample space of the ballroom and downstairs floor where we had cocktail hour, all of our guests were able to spread out if they wanted to, or get together with other friends and family they hadn't seen in a while. The table layout worked perfectly for our guest count, as it did not have the feeling of being crowded, and this is including areas for a photo booth, churro bar, and designated dance floor! Needless to say, the place can host even larger events with more people if needed. Overall, we fell in love with the venue and people at Stan Mansion right from the beginning, and we would not hesitate in the least to recommend this place to anyone that has the budget for it (even if you need to squeeze out some extra cash to do it, it's worth it).

Our guests and friends online have nothing but 'ooohs' and 'aaahs' to say about the gorgeous, dazzling MAGNIFICENCE that IS the STAN MANSION!Beyond the sheer, stunning beauty of this historic venue, I owe all of my thanks and high praise to the LEGENDARY Cera Stan and her team, who *literally* rolled out the red carpet for us.My husband and I had just signed our agreement - then COVID hit. What was supposed to be our planning for a 175 person wedding was out the window, and I had a MILLION questions as I scrambled to make sense of the situation (like everyone else). Cera, Kathy, and the team were extremely patient with me, answered all of my questions with a kind professionalism, and really helped us think through our best options. We ultimately postponed our date and they did not 'penalize' us in any way like some other venues/vendors do, which was SO appreciated. When it was safe to do so, we hosted our wedding with 50 guests (with a livestream), and it was absolutely beautiful. We even recieved some money back to account the lower difference in headcount which was EXTRA appreciated! THAT is customer serivce of the highest caliber.I honestly have nothing bad to say about the Stan Mansion. I used the preferred vendors and they were all fabulous. The bridal suite was amazing and made my day so awesome to be able to have all of my bridesmaids there getting ready. All of the various rooms made for great photo backdrops for variation in my bridal photos. Kathy was excellent in helping with day-of coordination, and I am extremely glad I went with her (originally I thought I could do it all myself - LOL!!)I am sad to even end this review because that means my experience at the Stan Mansion is officially over. But, just as I started, I am forever grateful to the *legendary* Cera Stan, her amazing team, and the venue that was there for me on the most important day of my life.Thank you!

You will not be disappointed!! So for the venue itself I was in love. There are multiple levels that you can use. We used every floor. Downstairs for cocktail and wedding ceremonies. Yes ceremonies we had 2!! Then the 2nd floor for cocktail and reception. It looks so amazing with decorations and lights. The bridal suite is to die for. Its so clean and really felt like we were at home. Please book this venue. They really care about you and your event. If I ever need another venue for an event in Chicago, I'm booking Stan Mansion!

Stan Mansion is by far one of my favorite venues for weddings. The great architecture makes this mansion unique from most banquet halls and it's got amazing character. The staff who work there are just as great and always make sure that their clients come first by providing excellent service all throughout the wedding/event. Best Historical Venue in Chicago!The mansion is about 100 years old and has been preserved as a historical landmark and it looks beautiful. My band performed for an event here on January 19, 2020 in the ballroom on the second floor and the acoustics were great! We had our ceremony at a church in Logan Square and the reception at Stan Mansion, it was AMAZING. They were so accommodating with our large, somewhat rowdy crowd. My bridesmaids and I used the bridal suite to get ready and it was awesome, great pictures and so much space. Our day of coordinator was Irene and she was incredible. I cannot imagine the day without her. She was so helpful with keeping everything running smoothly and keeping me calm and relaxed. If Stan Mansion is on your radar, do not hesitate - book your gathering with them! Not only is the venue inherently beautiful with its ornate decor and vibrant warm color scheme, but the outside of the building is perfection when it comes to bridal party photos. My husband and I did our first look right outside in the courtyard and the late afternoon lighting was simply gorgeous! As far as room accommodations, we utilized the downstairs ballroom for our ceremony, bar for cocktail hour and upstairs ballroom for our reception. The compliments flowing in from our guests were innumerable - each room is unique but all are equally breathtaking in intimacy, yet grandeur. Only other thing to mention is that we worked with the venue manager Irene. She was incredibly helpful, readily available, very accommodating and highly responsive to any and all of our questions and concerns. She worked very well with our personal day-of-coordinator and added to our stress-free magical wedding day. Irene truly adds to the wonderful experience you will have with Stan Mansion!

Stan Mansion is the perfect spot to have your wedding in Chicago. It’s unique and beautiful and the people that work there (shout out to Irene, thanks for everything!) are accommodating and friendly. They work with experienced vendors that knew the space well and made things easy for us. We were able to come by and see the space on short notice if needed for planning purposes leading up to the day of the event and they gave us ample time and space to rehearse at the venue the night before. They were generally laid back and easy to work with. The space itself offers so much flexibility and room to make it your own. I didn’t even have a real florist--all we had were candles, and the space still looked incredible, thanks to the curtain lights on the stage and the gorgeous chandelier. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. We had a blast!

This was the perfect venue for our winter wedding! Irene was great to work with and made sure our night went perfectly. She made us feel like a priority from the first tour to our wedding day. The mansion is beautiful on its own, but you can also transform it with the decor you choose. The bridal suite is also unlike any other venues I looked at. It is the perfect place to stay the night before or just get ready in with your wedding party. I can't recommend Stan Mansion enough!

Irene was my event manager and she was like a sub in coordinator. Helping my florist and the caterers and going above and beyond to make sure my day ran smoothly as I didn't have a planner and was super stressed. The venue was absolutely stunning and the staff incredible. If you're looking for a wedding venue (and an affordable one in the city) look no further.

Stan Mansion is BEAUTIFUL! It was such a perfect venue for our winter wedding. Every room looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale and every preferred vendor was amazing to work with including Jordan's Food of Distinction for catering, Spritzology for the bar, Art of Imagination for decorations, Juliet Tan for floral, and Monica for our in-house Day-Of-Coordinator. We could not have chosen a better venue - we would highly recommend Stan Mansion!

Cera Stan and her team are the best!!! The 1 aspect of working with Cera I enjoyed the most is her transparency and honesty. No matter the cost, if you desire to have your wedding at her establishment she'll work with you to make your dream become a reality. She has an extensive list of vendors that range in prices and services. But most importantly, she cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to provide quality customer service and support... Additionally, what other establishment will allow you to borrow items to use for your wedding/reception free of charge! My wife and I are planning to do our 10 year anniversary at the Stan Mansion.

We just had our 3rd Annual Break the Silence Foundation Purple Gala at the Stan Mansion. Working with Cera Stan, Irene, and Monica was a pleasure from day one. They were extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our Gala was a success. When our guests arrived, they were absolutely amazed by the elegance of the Mansion. The Mansion's decor and beautiful Crystal Chandeliers created a perfect backdrop for the Gala. It was a truly magical event from start to finish! Stan Mansion is a hidden gem in the historical Logan Square area ....the outside exterior has a wonderful stone facade that they uplight at night....and inside surprises you because they have two levels that you can have events that transitions from the lower level room for the ceremony to the 2nd floor bar that has a built in fire place mantel, great for photo opts and large wooden bar by the window facing the outdoor courtyard to the main Ballroom for the reception with a grand stage for a band or DJ or even the sweet heart table....the attention to details in the design is beautiful and the European chandeliers add that elegant finish.I love creating within this venue and Cera Stan the owner is so easy to work with and really cares for each and every client as she gives of herself to everyone. The bridal couples end up falling in love with her.

They all worked so well together, it made our lives so much easier and planning relatively stress free. Cera Stan, the owner, was so easy to work with and was incredibly sweet and helpful during the planning process. Lale, the day of coordinator was so amazing through planning and the day of. She had so many helpful suggestions for how the reception should flow and she organized all of the vendors so well. It really made our wedding day stress free and so much more fun! She made sure we got appetizers and time to ourselves before the cocktail hour got started and she kept everything on schedule so we didn't have to worry about anything! The Stan Mansion was so beautiful and we have gotten so many compliments on our wedding venue!

What began as a planning meeting quickly turned into a sister-to-sister bonding moment between the two ladies. Both of them were crying as I sat trying to determine if I should get them some tissue or simply let us enjoy the moment. I must say, Cera was highly impressed with my performance on the video and encouraged me to perform at our wedding. What impressed us the most outside of the physical aspects of the venue, was how down-to-earth and genuine Cera was and her leadership influence can be seen via the hard work and commitment her staff displays. Thank you Monica and Irene, you two were fabulous! Respectfully, there are a number of fabulous venues throughout Chicago, but none like The Stan Mansion... You won't find a venue that can provide the service and support that Cera and her team provides. WE LOVE CERA!!!! She not only worked within our budget but also showed us ways to get more for less. I highly recommend this venue because what you'll get and experience is more than worth the price. August 27, 2017 will forever be remembered and cherished!!!

All I can say is WOW I love this venue and am so happy I choose them!!\r\rNow almost a month after our wedding, I miss seeing Kevin and Cera as frequently as I did. During the last couple of weeks before the wedding the mansion felt like a second home from all the times I went in lol. I loved working with Kevin to insure that my wedding was the vision I wanted it to be and appreciate everything he did to help make this event possible. They were both very flexible with letting me come in as needed, as well making suggestions on things that they have seen work in the past. \r\rKevin was our coordinator for the day and he insured that everything was going as planned as well as insured that my guest had everything needed. (It was such a busy night, I wish I had a chance to at least have drink with him lol). He was also really good about working with my other vendors and insuring that everything was set before our guest got there. \r\rAll my guest loved and still talk about the unique venue Stan Mansion is, for they had never seen anything like it before. The overall layout of venue allows guest to explore and walk around or just stay in the main reception area if they pleased. \r\rA unique and amazing venue to use if you are looking wow your guest and want a place that lets you build the wedding of your dreams. \r\rI would definitely use this venue again in the future and tell people that are looking to host a wedding or any other event.\r\rThank you Cera and Kevin! you guys are the best! :)\r

I can't say enough good things about the Stan Mansion. We decided to go with this venue because we liked the option to bring our own liquor (saved us $3500!) and the fact that this venue was near one of my favorite ceremony locations (beautiful Catholic Church in Logan Square). The Stan Mansion was absolutely perfect and I would recommend this venue to ANYONE! The space was an old consulate building with a lot of character. My favorite feature was the beautiful bar and the raised seating on the sides in the hall. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on how beautiful the wedding was, and a few people told us after the wedding that they would like to have their events at the Stan Mansion because of how beautiful our event was!\r\rOur favorite part of this venue was working with Kevin. He was unbelievable as a day of coordinator. He met with us several times and always assured us that the wedding would be beautiful. He had a flexible schedule to accommodate our needs and always responded to our questions quickly. On the day of, he was unbelievable. We ran out of ice so he personally ran across the street to buy us more and took care of every issue that arose. He did an excellent job of managing guest questions and issues (at one point some guests were hot so he adjusted the temperature of the room) and I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day knowing he was taking care of everything. The best part? He had a few awesome surprises for me on the day of. When I thanked him he said \"We love to take care of our brides!\" And they really do. Do consider this venue, and feel free to email me to ask me questions!!! Our wedding day was perfect because we chose the Stan Mansion!

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Stan Mansion, and it was the most amazing setting for a city wedding. Everyone raved at how beautiful everything looked, and we had people who only saw online photos raving about the uniqueness of the venue. What I loved about Stan Mansion was that it gave us a stunning backdrop and then allowed us to put all of our own personal touches into our day. They also have a list of vendors that you can work with (not required), and the ones we worked with proved to be fantastic! Our day was perfect, and I cannot imagine that it would have been as memorable if we had had it anywhere else. We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Stan Mansion, and it was the most amazing setting for a city wedding. Everyone raved at how beautiful everything looked, and we had people who only saw online photos raving about the uniqueness of the venue. What I loved about Stan Mansion was that it gave us a stunning backdrop and then allowed us to put all of our own personal touches into our day. They also have a list of vendors that you can work with (not required), and the ones we worked with proved to be fantastic! Our day was perfect, and I cannot imagine that it would have been as memorable if we had had it anywhere else. If you want a venue that is different from the average banquet hall, check out Stan Mansion. You will not be disappointed.

I loved the setting,loved the character, but had a hard time working with the owner. If it wasn't for Kevin, the Day of Planner, then my writing would,be lower... All in all it was a great wedding, thanks in part to Kevin.

I was torn on finding a super contemporary place for our wedding or one that had a vintage feel where I could throw modern designs in and make it our own vibe. In the end we chose Stan Mansion for its vintage bar room and giant ballroom. I loved that the space is so versatile- a few curtains and some colored lighting and you can completely change the feel of the room without having to do much. Its a beautiful space that has tons of room for larger weddings and Kevin the coordinator there is awesome to work with. We were so thrilled with everything they did for our big day and it was awesome having such a large space just for us. Definitely worth checking out!

5 stars all around! From start to finish Our wedding at the Stan Mansion went off without a hitch! Our guests were raving to us for weeks about how fun it was and how great the space was. We had right around 185 guests and everyone fit very comfortably. Kevin helped us with everything we could ever have needed. We used him as our day of coordinator, best decision we could have made. He led our rehearsal for us and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. He was also very easy to get a hold of and always prompt to reply. Parking, we were a little skeptical at first because they don't have their own lot, but it went really smoothly! We used the valet for our guests, the parking lot was only a block away so if for some reason guests wanted to park themselves and walk it was totally doable. Sound was great, atmosphere was fantastic, hardly even needed decoration because the place is so gorgeous in itself. Kevin was also very helpful in the fact that if there happened to be a wedding the day before or something, he would help in coordinating sharing the cost of any items that both parties were renting, which was so nice. We really just had a great experience and would highly recommend the venue. We wish we could do it over and over. Thanks Kevin and Stan Mansion! We loved it!

My partner and I recently (September 14th) had our ceremony at the Stan Mansion. I'm going to start off by saying that I had a vintage circus themed wedding. You'll know now why I chose The Stan Mansion. It was just a HUGE bonus that Kevin and Cera were so fun and wonderful to work with. My husband and I could sit for hours and chat with these two! We definitely became family during the whole process. Our families even loved hanging out with them. They were super accommodating and since there were no events the night before our wedding we were able to come in and set up ourselves. My husband even snuck in a rehearsal for a song surprise for me! The venue was an incredible bargain and so \"us.\" The chairs are also beautiful, which was apparently very important to me. You can piece everything together yourself here and it makes it all the more custom and personalized.

Cera and Kevin made us feel completely at home when we first came to meet with them. They took such special care to make our vision of what our wedding would look and be like as if they were planning a family member's wedding. The caterer and the designer they recommended (and we ended up using) were fantastic. I have gotten so much positive feedback, not on my dress or the ceremony, but on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was. I wouldn't consider having a celebration any place else.

I got married at the Stan a few months ago. This place is breath taking, absolutely gorgeous. If your from Chicago, or its suburbs, its a must see when it's all jazzed up for an event. On my wedding day when I was sneaking up to the bridal sweet avoiding my groom, I stole a peak into the main room. It was all set up for the ceremony and I think my exact words were a teary eyed, choked throat \"holy shoot\". It was perfect. \r\rThe Stan includes150 chairs and all tables which was great , they order more of the same unique chairs if need be. The venue cost was about \t4000 but lighting is a must and that was about 500. Their decorator will try to talk you into draping the high ceilings, pillars and doorways (we did not) that will cost another 3-5 thousand. Its a beautiful add on but the place is wonderful with out. \r\rThey have a preferred list of caterers which vary in price and flavor, but they will allow out side caterers for a fee I think. \r\rThey have a cool dark swanky bar area that is removed from the main room which makes for a nice lounge scene change. We had Sinatra playing over speakers and iPod we brought from home\r It's byob and you need to acquire licensed bartenders to serve.\r\rThey have a large stage where we had a live band play all night. They also have slightly raise platforms that made good space for extra seating, and photo booth . There's a large wood dance floor which was very inviting to the guests and made the special dances pop.\r\rOver all it was easy and fun. Very fun. It still feels like a dream to me, it blows my mind actually how perfect perfect everything was.\r\rEXCEPT..... \r\rI continued this review with my one negative opinion and concern about The Stan but have been told to remove it after being reported by the venue...\r\rAlthough my wedding was great I do not give any of that credit to the staff. I would never have an event here again and don't suggest you do either. If you plan to rely on their staff for anything other than to open the doors, don't.

The Stan Mansion is a beautiful, unique place to have a wedding. My husband and I were looking for a place that was different than the 30+ weddings we have been to. We got several compliments about the mansion during our wedding and we continue to get comments about it 7 months later. The staff there was amazing from the first meeting until even after our wedding. Cera gives suggestions for vendors which helped a lot. Every vendor I chose from her list exceeded my expectations. Out of everyone who worked for us at our wedding, the staff at Stan Mansion was the best. We got really lucky and booked the mansion just before they started remodeling. We got to see the remodeling project throughout the year and even though it looked great when we booked, we were amazed at how beautiful it looked on the day of the wedding. The bar next to the ballroom and the foyer downstairs offered a different feel than the ballroom for our guests. We also had the ceremony in the ballroom and the caterers flipped the room during the cocktail hour. I just love the place! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a venue that's elegant and unique with an amazing staff that will make your wedding what you want it to be!

My husband and I can't say enough about how much we loved having our wedding at Stan Mansion. Cera is great and lets you do what you want to do. She has excellent recommendations for vendors, but also lets you use whomever you want (many venues are not so flexible). The space is gorgeous and is constantly being updated with amazing attention to detail. Everyone commented on how beautiful our wedding was and none of that would have been possible without such a pretty space with our wonderful vendors (Cattleya Bridal & Floral, Art of Imagination, The Smitten Bride, Bon Soiree Catering, Toast and Jam DJs, I Do Films Videography, Pat Gilbride photography, Phoebe's Cupcakes and Reverand Mark Pietscher). We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the location, and everything was absolutely perfect!

Hard to believe that one month ago I was getting ready for my wedding at Stan Mansion. It was perfect and beyond anything I could have imagined. The best part was working with Cera Stan and the staff at the Mansion for one year. They became like friends and I am still missing talking to them every week. Hard to believe that one month ago I was getting ready for my wedding at Stan Mansion. It was perfect and beyond anything I could have imagined. The best part was working with Cera Stan and the staff at the Mansion for one year. They became like friends and I am still missing talking to them every week. I felt completely taken care of the whole year and trusted that eveything I wanted would happen, because they made sure it did and even more than what I asked for. We couldn't have been happier with having our wedding at Stan Mansion. We wanted to be able to save money but still have the wedding we wanted with a decent caterer and full bar, and we were able to pull all of it off! Cera has done some wonderful improvements to the place in the last year, with beautiful french inspired painting and decoration to add the perfect touch to this already beautiful venue. We live in Logan Square and were so happy to be able to have our wedding in the neighborhood.

We couldn't have been happier with having our wedding at Stan Mansion. Stan Mansion was the perfect place to host my wedding reception. I had a hollywood glam theme, and the venue fit my color scheme and theme perfectly. The stage was a wonderful place for my new husband and I to sit, all the stars of the day. And the owner of the venue, she was one of the best parts of the whole experience. She is so nice to her brides and just wants their dreams to come true. She allowed me to decorate in the way that I wanted. And 1 year later, for our first wedding anniversary, she allowed us to come back and celebrate where it all began. It was beautiful.

We booked our wedding here because it is located in our neighborhood of Logan Square and is on beautiful Kedzie Blvd. The price is also significantly lower than a lot of other venues in Chicago and the Stan allows you to bring in your own alcohol (=huge savings) and is open to let you use whichever caterer you choose. \r\rCera Stan, the owner, was very helpful in recommending vendors and letting us in early to set up the space. She was also extremely flexible and promptly responded to any questions we had. The space is a little bit \"rough on the edges\" and under a few renovations (like getting new carpet, etc) but looked beautiful under candlelight and our guests were very impressed with it.\r\rI definitely recommend the Stan to brides who like flexibility and creative room to make decisions in.
