The Sterling Ballroom receives my highest of praises! My husband and I held our wedding here in September and when we booked, we had no idea what it could be due to the renovations that were happening. Allison, our fearless wedding coordinator/catering sales director, went above and beyond to make sure renovations that needed to be done would be completed by the time of our wedding so that there would be little to no disruptions. And she absolutely delivered! We met with Allison numerous times throughout our 10 months together working and thinking through the details of the wedding. She was helpful, organized, responsible and just a joy to work with! Our wedding was spectacular - our guests had the best time and the food was delicious! The high tide and the carving stations were HUGE hits; all of us are foodies and everyone was just in awe by the caliber of the food quality! The entire staff was attentive, friendly, fun and really took care of everyone. Sindy who helped Allison with some of the coordination was remarkable and so helpful. She was such a lovely person to work with and made sure my mom was taken care of, and that is so appreciated in the midst of a hectic day! Our maître d' Nemo was so wonderful and made sure everything was set up properly and packed up at the end of the night, and that we stuck to the schedule. He was by our side throughout the night and just made sure we always had everything we needed. They were just a dynamic team. They coordinated not just the wedding, but the rehearsal dinner and our post wedding breakfast. We also had a whole tea ceremony the morning of the wedding and they made sure that was in tip top shape!I also need to give Faye, Brooke, Melissa and Andrew huge shoutouts for taking care of our guests who stayed at the Doubletree. They were organized and made sure everything was stress-free!This was really a wonderful experience and I am still on cloud nine from this dream of a wedding. Thank you to this entire team so much! We used the DoubleTree Tinton Falls for our room block, after-party and farewell breakfast for our daughter's wedding held off-site. The staff at the DoubleTree are professional and responsive. The hotel recently underwent a major renovation and it is beautiful! The rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. We held the after-party in the Cobalt Lounge which is a cool place to relax. We also had a delicious farewell breakfast in the Sapphire Ballroom, which is a bright and spacious room. Allison, Sindy, Jennifer and Faye all helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. Although we did not use their Sterling Ballroom, it is a gorgeous space and would be the perfect place to host an event. Our venue recommended the DoubleTree as one of their hotels of choice in the area and I recommend them too.

From start to finish Allison at Sterling Ballroom was a pleasure to work with. We fell in love with the venue nearly immediately! Our wedding at the Sterling Ballroom was nothing but amazing. From the moment I went in to book until the day after I was blow away by how smooth and easy everything was. Allison is beyond incredible. I wish I had to plan my wedding all over again, because it was such an awesome experience. I did not feel stressed at all. She, along with her staff accommodated every request and guided me along the way. Allison made sure that I was happy throughout the process and made me feel comfortable asking my millions of questions. She answered all emails quickly, so I never was waiting and wondering. Nemo was also incredible to work with. I am extremely easygoing and really didn't have a plan for the ceremony, nor really know how to plan for one. He gave me the best suggestions and made sure everything ran smoothly. During the night he was constantly around and checking in and making sure everything from the temperature of the room to the ligthing to the food aand services was exceeding expectations. My only hope is that someone else I know has a wedding at the Sterling Ballroom so I can attend as a guest! An extra perk was having the hotel attached to the venue where we were able to continue the party at the bar for a little then enjoy a nice breakfast in the morning! I could not have asked for a better experience and I cannot even stop thinking about our favorite day! Again, if you have the chance to work with Allison, Nemo, and The Sterling Ballroom you will not be disappointed!

Well, it looks as though the Sterling Ballroom doesn't really care about anyone or anything BUT THE FINAL BILL AND GRATUITIES! This includes the General Manager, Brooke Gordon and the Catering Sales Director, Allison McCarthy. My cousin was married here in September 2021, to say that the organization of their wedding day was HORRIFIC! Their Maître D' was aptly named Nemo, because we spent the entire evening looking for him after everyone was introduced into the reception! Dinner was delayed OVER AN HOUR and he blamed the delay on his waitstaff and said how they weren't doing their jobs. Well, that would pretty much be because the Maitre D' was not in the room directing them as the Maitre D' is supposed to do!!!! I am in the business and had a discussion with him along with the mother of the bride. He gave us some song and dance about how he had to go get liquor from the liquor storage and that took over an hour. About 15 minutes after our discussion, he pulled the mother of the bride aside to assure her I didn't know what I was talking about, and he did a FANTASTIC job, her one son had to stop in the hallway to be sure she was ok because of the manner Nemo was talking to her. I had emailed the General Manager, Brooke Gordon and the Catering Sales Director, Allison McCarthy on Sunday, October 10, it is now November 6 and I have not heard a single word from them on how they plan on responding. My cousin had to postpone her wedding FIVE TIMES, they gave her a hard time, but they were finally able to have the wedding in September. My cousin was also told if they didn't do it then, they were going to lose all the money they put down on the wedding (their original date was 2 weeks after lockdown, so final payment had already been made). STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND BANQUET FACILITY - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR GUESTS - THEY JUST WANT THE TIP AND THE MONEY FOR THE BANQUET AHEAD OF TIME TO GIVE YOU CRAPPY SERVICE AND BE OBNOXIOUS!On top of the fact, the 1 bartender was wearing leggings and a pullover jacket behind the bar, with her hair sloppy all up on top of her head. The other 2 bartenders were wearing jeans and different golf shirts, not a uniform I would expect for a wedding banquet. Some of the servers did not look professional with shirts hanging out and vests unbuttoned. If it was not for their DJ (a true professional), the photographers would have missed the parent dances (Nemo sent the photographers out of the room to take a 15 minute break and then started parent dances without them - the DJ ran out in the hall to find them so they could document the occasion!)I wonder if this new review will make them respond to me or the mother of the bride for their Maitre D's behavior - although I do doubt it. Next stop, HILTON CORPORATE!!!!I wanted to give them no stars, but it wouldn't let me do that, 1 star is a GRACIOUS rating.

Not happy the way they are treat us in this time of a pandemic. We were supposed to get married in October 2020 we asked them to postpone they gave us a song and a dance finally they let us postpone. Now with the cdc and state rules we can’t have all are gust and no dancing. And personally I don’t feel comfortable with having that many people in one place. We asked them if we could cancel they told us we would own them 75%. We got an attorney. Our attorney sent them a letter and it’s been over a month and we have not heard back from them. If we do not hear back from them I am going to go to the newspaper and blast them all over. I want is my money back.

We could not be happier with the experience we've had with Reena during our entire planning process from day one. We loved the ballroom and the package, but she was the main reason why we booked Sterling. You can easily tell how much effort and passion she puts into her job and her couples and always makes us feel so excited and stress-free. We had to postpone our wedding date to 2021 due to COVID-19 which was so difficult and emotional, but she helped make it such a smooth process and did not give us the runaround at all. We cannot wait to celebrate safely with our guests next year (hopefully without masks) and just want to thank Reena for all that she has done for us.

If I could get married to my husband every year for the rest of my life, I would do it here over and over. This was the best experience of my life, from start to finish. Reena took so much weight off of my shoulders and always made sure we were ready for what was next in our planning journey. Even on the day of the wedding she was always there, making sure every detail was smoothed our. Nemo was phenomenal and kind-hearted. Without him, the pressure of making sure everything was timed perfectly would have been so stressful! Everyone was so genuinely helpful and friendly, from the director to the servers to the head chef. EVERYONE! I am so blown away, I feel like I couldn’t possibly thank everyone enough. I will recommend Double Tree to everyone I know, just so I can attend more weddings there!

I just got married at the Sterling Ballroom this weekend. It was the most amazing night of my life. The staff is absolutely amazing, they made choosing this Ballroom for my wedding super easy. They will answer any question you have in a timely fashion, and they will constantly be in contact with you to go over your event. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the set up was perfect! My guests cannot stop raving about the food! I am beyond thankful that I had my wedding here, I could not of asked for a better place!

I just got married at the Sterling Ballroom this weekend. It was the most amazing night of my life. The staff is absolutely amazing, they made choosing this Ballroom for my wedding super easy. They will answer any question you have in a timely fashion, and they will constantly be in contact with you to go over your event. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the set up was perfect! My guests cannot stop raving about the food! My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at the Sterling Ballroom! We fantasized about a large ballroom wedding, but were concerned we had to give that dream up when we saw pricing for many venues. Thankfully, we visited the Sterling Ballroom and knew immediately this was our dream venue!! The food was AMAZING and you get sooooooo much for your pricing! The cocktail hour was tremendous with so many unique personalizations. My guests haven’t stopped raving about it!! The entrees were amazing — totally not your “average wedding food”. Many of my guests have told me this was one of the few weddings they thoroughly enjoyed their entree at. The venue is local to a bunch of great picture stops (we went to Monmouth University and loved it). Guests also loved the convenience of staying at the hotel after. Our wedding ended at 10:30 and we all partied in the hotel bar until about 2am. Most importantly- Reena and Sue are a DREAM to work with! I worked with Reena most often. She was extremely accommodating, professional, fun, and the best spirit to work with! I never felt stressed out when working with her. She has such a contagious positive energy that we always looked forward to when going to the hall. We even had a few issues with our contract from a previous employee that we booked with and when I brought them to Reenas attention she immediately apologized and corrected everything- didnt give me the runaround at all. On the day of the wedding, the Matri’d Nemo was so professional I literally didn’t worry about a single thing and trusted him 100%, and everything came PERFECT! This venue was absolutely above and beyond amazing!!

The cocktail hour was tremendous with so many unique personalizations. My guests haven’t stopped raving about it!! The entrees were amazing — totally not your “average wedding food”. Many of my guests have told me this was one of the few weddings they thoroughly enjoyed their entree at. The venue is local to a bunch of great picture stops (we went to Monmouth University and loved it). Guests also loved the convenience of staying at the hotel after. Our wedding ended at 10:30 and we all partied in the hotel bar until about 2am. Most importantly- Reena and Sue are a DREAM to work with! I worked with Reena most often. She was extremely accommodating, professional, fun, and the best spirit to work with! I never felt stressed out when working with her. She has such a contagious positive energy that we always looked forward to when going to the hall. We even had a few issues with our contract from a previous employee that we booked with and when I brought them to Reenas attention she immediately apologized and corrected everything- didnt give me the runaround at all. On the day of the wedding, the Matri’d Nemo was so professional I literally didn’t worry about a single thing and trusted him 100%, and everything came PERFECT! This venue was absolutely above and beyond amazing!!

We got married almost a month ago at the Sterling Ballroom and we're both still in shock at how perfect everything was! There aren't even words to express how much we loved working with Reena and Sue!!! They were both always so kind, professional, helpful, and reassuring whenever we had questions or concerns. Reena went above and beyond for us, contacting corporate to get approval for certain things we wanted at our reception. Sue raced through the hotel five minutes before the ceremony (in a blouse she wore specifically for us, because it had details that matched our wedding theme) hunting down a pair of white flip flops for me to wear since I couldn't walk in heels anymore. These two women are rockstars and I wish we could get married over and over just to have the opportunity to work with them again! Nemo, the Maitre D, took our wedding vision and brought it to life better than we imagined. Some people may find it difficult to hand over all their items (centerpieces, signage, decorations etc) to someone else and trust they will follow instructions perfectly, but I PROMISE you cannot do better than Nemo! The team at the Sterling Ballroom made it too easy for us, and allowed us to really enjoy the last few days leading up to the big event without having to feel rushed or stressed. We happened to get married on an unexpectedly hot afternoon, and even Missy from the front desk came out with water during our family photos to make sure everyone was doing okay! THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Our guests have not stopped raving about it for nearly a month and we are begging our engaged friends to choose The Sterling Ballroom so we can fully take advantage of all the food we missed at our own wedding! They made what is normally a super stressful task something more joyous! Reena & Sue are the best there is!! I must have asked a zillion questions, some multiple times, and they were always willing to help and answer them each and every time! They helped me make sure every detail needed was taken care of. We chose this venue at first mainly because it was local to us but easy to get to for those traveling (right off exit 105 on the parkway), and because it was affordable! Another huge selling point for us was that they only do one wedding a night, so they really put all their time and focus on making your night perfect and making you feel special. You can make your package as simple or as extravagant as you want. Our experience turned out to be completely amazing, thanks to the help of Reena, Sue, and Nemo our maitre de (to name a few). The food was fantastic, amazing service from the staff, and the rooms are beautiful and clean.

Absolutely disgusted with how this venue treated us during the pandemic. Was supposed to have my wedding reception here in November 2020. I heard nothing from them until August 2020 when they were asking for the deposit that was due. I obviously had concerns and questions that I wanted answered. Set up a call with them and was told that they couldn’t answer my “what if questions” and that as of August we didn’t have the option yet to postpone a November wedding and if we cancelled we would be held to our original contract and owe 75%. At this time, the rules in NJ were no indoor receptions, so understandably my husband and I were VERY upset. We couldn’t get any answers to our questions and were being told we couldn’t postpone yet and still owed all of our money. Not to mention, they said if it became an option to postpone that it would be $10 more a head, but that this was a deduction from what 2021 weddings were being charged. As if they were doing us a favor by “only charging $10 a head more”. On top of this, my father had a stroke in June 2020, so we had serious concerns about the safety of all of our guests but especially my dad. They still couldn’t tell us any information regarding social distancing protocols, seating arrangements or dancing. We had our lawyer contact them and we got a response 3 weeks later from their lawyer saying “they’d get back to us”. No one ever contacted us again and they kept all of the money we had put down in deposits.It’s really sad that during this extremely stressful time for brides/grooms that we weren’t given more clarity and empathy. We were very excited to have our wedding here but sadly would STRONGLY CAUTION ANYONE from signing a contract with them, especially during COVID. Very disappointing and I’d really like my money back.

Melissa and the staff at the Sterling Ballroom could not have made our wedding any better. My husband and I did not expect to book our reception at the first place we looked at but we fell in love. We had heard great things from other people. The ballroom being in the Hilton had everything we were looking for our out of state guests. From blocking out rooms at the hotel was so easy and everyone did make effort to make our guest a priority. Melissa and coordinators answered emails in timely fashion. We had people say our wedding was better than their own kids. People are continuing about the food. It was hot and delicious. Could not have asked for better food! The staff made our day super stress free. Was able to drop off our welcome bags and all decorations. They set up everything the day or our reception amazing and had perfect vision. Nemo was there helping my husband and I have a great time with drink in hand. The best moment was when my husband and I got to walk into the ballroom before all the guests and see our vision a reality. Thank you so much to the entire staff. Melissa and the staff at the Sterling Ballroom could not have made our wedding any better. My husband and I did not expect to book our reception at the first place we looked at but we fell in love. We had heard great things from other people. The ballroom being in the Hilton had everything we were looking for our out of state guests. From blocking out rooms at the hotel was so easy and everyone did make effort to make our guest a priority. Melissa and coordinators answered emails in timely fashion. We had people say our wedding was better than their own kids. People are continuing about the food. It was hot and delicious. Could not have asked for better food! The staff made our day super stress free. Was able to drop off our welcome bags and all decorations. They set up everything the day or our reception amazing and had perfect vision. Nemo was there helping my husband and I have a great time with drink in hand. She even went out and bought the groom his favorite drink of choice (monster energy drink) since he doesn’t drink alcohol. Nemo, the Maitre D, was fantastic. He made sure everything was perfect and was fully present the entire night! We honestly can’t say enough great things about The Sterling Ballroom!!

The day of, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the ballroom looked when I walked in! It brought me to tears! The staff went out of their way to make sure all our decor and starry night theme was perfected! I recently had my wedding at the Sterling Ballroom and everything the day of was amazing! The food was perfect and the guests are still raving about our special day. There were a few things, however, to be conscious of if you plan on getting married here. The first thing was that I went through three different wedding coordinators (and was only working with this venue for a little over a year). I'm not sure what happened, however, I received an email stating the first one got a new job and I would be working with the second one. I only worked with the second one for a few months, then upon emailing her asking a question, she had replied that she was no longer working at this venue as well and I was then assigned a third coordinator. While each coordinator was great, I believe this lead to some miscommunication regarding where the groomsmen were supposed to be getting ready. I was told by my first coordinator that they would have a junior suite to get ready in on the day of the wedding. We were very surprised when the groom and groomsmen showed up to get ready and all they had was a conference room for them (no bathroom, shower, mirrors, etc.), which lead to one of the groomsmen upgrading his room for a significant amount of money. Thankfully, this issue was resolved by the venue the following day, however, I believe it's important for future brides and grooms to be aware that what you pay for the wedding does not include a normal room for the groom and his groomsmen to prepare in.Nemo (the maitre d), Melissa, and Reena (two of the coordinators) were amazing and so helpful throughout planning and the day of!

We could not have chosen a better venue than this one! Their packages include SO MUCH and the price is so worth it! The food was DELICIOUS, our guest could not stop raving about how much food there was during cocktail hour! The service was FLAWLESS, My Husband and I felt catered to the whole night and our guest, again, was saying the service they were given was amazing as well. I could not have been any happier. Literally they said no wedding goes perfect as planned, AND MY WEDDING WAS PERFECT as planned! NOT ONE MISTAKE OR SLIP UP. I worked with Reena so closely and she was AMAZING, through the work she has done, I felt like she truly loves her job and genuinely cares about the couples happiness and satisfaction. She was SO responsive through e-mail and honestly, made this whole process so much easier than I thought possible. My Maitre-D, Nemo, was super efficient as well! I just can't say enough about this venue. It is so perfect and everything has been beyond what we could've imagined. The price is RIGHT and you get a lot included in the packages and ammenities with it. Aside from the beautiful and private ballroom (perk, they only do 1 wedding at a time), the staff is amazing. Reena and Melissa are such a help and they both answer every question I can possibly think of. They're always so ready to help me along this journey (even though I am over a year away!) and they really are skilled in their trade. Lexi in the office has also been very sweet and helpful anytime I came in for payments, etc.The menu package that we chose includes more food options than we could have dreamed of. There are typical items you would look for along with some really unique and fun options for cocktail hour. The dessert options are just the fun touch we were looking for too. The staff has been nothing but helpful and flexible in letting me alter things to exactly what we want for our day. I am so glad we went with Sterling and we are both so so so excited for our wedding day here!

It was an amazing experience having my venue at the sterling ballroom. Through the whole process, the staff was constantly there to answer any questions we had. It was amazing that linens, lighting, centerpieces, table numbers, maitre d, and a bridal suite were included in price. We were able to have our dream wedding in our budget. So many people still have come to me and said it was one of the best weddings they have been to, the ballroom and ceremony space were beautiful, the food was amazing. They even were able to accommodate 25 kosher meals in my family. They also had a separate cocktail hour just for my husband and I so we could breathe and have our space. They brought everything to us so we could actually eat at our own wedding. I was able to drop everything off a couple days before and they set up everything so I could just focus on being a bride. If you want all inclusive, reliability, great food, and a great price, the Sterling Ballroom is the way to go!

She decided to have a much shorter engagement and book her wedding (at the Sterling Ballroom) with only 10 months to plan; therefore, of course as the best friend I was very much involved!! Now, 11 months or so later, I wish I had booked my wedding at the Sterling Ballroom also!!! Everything was beyond perfection. I attended every appointment with her and met with Melissa, Reena, and Lexi. All of them were a huge help! I thought I'd be coming in on the day of and setting up all decorations for her, but they took care of everything. All the details were laid out perfectly for her. The food was delicious with endless station choices and guests wondering if the cocktail hour was the full dinner! I fully suggest booking with the Sterling Ballroom because I wish I did.

I don't even know where to begin. Our experience with the Sterling Ballroom was amazing, start to finish! When we first stepped into their office in January, we didn't think we would be able to afford them. They were our first venue visit and we left having booked a July 28th wedding. They are extremely affordable and make the planning process so easy! They have different packages, but even their base package is loaded with amazing choices for food, a 5 hour open bar with an extensive alcohol list, and all the decorations you could need. They even went as far as switching out one of the beers on tap for our beer of choice (Sam Adams Lager) at no additional cost. When we started, we were working with Tara and Victoria. They were both so sweet and so amazing and kept everything easy! Later, we worked with Melissa, Reena, and Lexi who all picked it up without missing a beat! We also got room blocks through them with the DoubleTree. Daniella was amazing and was able to help us out with last minute booking for our guests and with getting us the room we wanted the night before the wedding.We used the Sterling Ballroom for our ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, we used our own decorations along with theirs and it was beyond beautiful! The maitre d' Dineen, Melissa, Reena, and Lexi made sure that the ceremony was set up exactly how we wanted it. Our guests rave about the cocktail hour, which had an amazing, extensive, and delicious food choices. During the reception, the hall was set up like a dream! I couldn't even express how beautiful it all was! Dinner was delicious and everyone raved about the desert. The Sterling Ballroom works with a local bakery for the cake (Chocolate Carousel) and because of when we had our wedding, we were able to get the Summer Sizzle package which included an Ice Cream Bar! Dineen was there the entire time, making sure we had everything we needed and that the entire event, start to finish, ran smoothly! My husband and I still laugh about how our cups were always full - Dineen has a very sharp eye! I can't even imagine a better day than the one we had. My husband and I had one wish for our wedding - for everyone to have an amazing time. Thanks to the Sterling Ballroom and their amazing staff, we got our wish.

If you are still looking for a venue please stop and call the Sterling! When choosing a venue i was looking for something that was not only beautiful but convenient! I was a laidback bride and was looking to deal with as little people as possible. The Sterling has everything to offer.. i mean their packages are outrageous and you CANNOT beat the price! I narrowed my search down to two places and now I’ll be honest my husband calls me a snob when it comes to my expectations on customer service. At the end of the day Melissa is what sold me on the venue. She was the most genuine person i had met with when going on our hunt. She gave me all the right vibes and did not disappoint at any point in the two years we were planning the wedding. Emails were answered swiftly , concerns addressed right away! She was literally every brides dream team! I definitely have to give a shout out to both Reena and Nemo as well! Amazing amazing amazing. You will not be disappointed i promise! i cannot thank the double tree team enough for making our day so special!

One Word...PHENOMENAL!! I enjoyed the most beautiful wedding day ever because of the Sterling Ballroom. I am so grateful that God led me to this AMAZING venue after visiting 25+ venues from New York, to North Jersey, to Central Jersey. I was looking for a modern but classy venue that would accommodate 250+ guests on a tight budget...very tight budget. I can honestly say that Melissa, Tara, Danine, Nino and the entire staff EXCEEDED my expectations. I cannot believe how seamless the day was, from start to finish. I had a morning wedding, booked rooms at the Hotel (which is very Chic and Modern), had breakfast included, Gorgeous photographs on site of an outdoor wedding at the hotel, followed by a SPECTACULAR reception. My guests are still blown away at my wedding. This venue is as close as it gets to Perfection...I have high standards and I am still in awe at how amazing everything turned out. SOOO EASY too! Cake of my choice & design- INCLUDED; Centerpieces of my choice and DĂ©cor of my Color/Taste- INCLUDED; Extensive cocktail hour with signature drink- INCLUDED. This place is truly stunning. As soon as we found the Sterling Ballroom online, we knew this was going to be the place where we got married. Once we went there in person and met with the staff, it was even clearer that this was the perfect venue for us. Melissa, Victoria, Nemo, and Reena (from the DoubleTree) were absolutely fantastic in helping us plan the perfect day! They were quick to respond to our many emails and were flexible with some of our more interesting requests (like adding Twisted Tea and Fireball to the alcohol list, having a hot sauce table, etc.). We had a large amount of items for them to set up on the wedding day and they did it perfectly without worrying us or anyone in the wedding party. And we were most excited about our cocktail style reception with unique and delicious station options (we went with the man cave, bacon me crazy, off the hook, and smashed potato bar). Everyone at our wedding was blown away by the amount and quality of the food. My husband’s one request for the wedding was a mashed potato bar and it exceeded his expectations! We also loved being able to add the beer flight station (which we got a deal on due to their pre-wedding food tasting party) and the coffee and cordials bar (mixing bailey’s and coffee is one of our faves!) The venue is beautiful as is the outdoor wedding space, which was perfect for our ceremony and for creating amazing pictures to help us remember the day forever. I cannot express enough how helpful, kind, caring, and hard-working the staff at the Sterling Ballroom are. They truly care that your wedding is exactly as you want it and we received our dream wedding because of them!

My husband and I got married at Sterling Ballroom in May 2017. Right from the very first meeting, we felt very warm and at ease with the wedding planning. The venue is one of the biggest aspects of a wedding which also entails food, ambiance, and service. We were very happy to know that al 3 of these things would be covered by a fantastic crew. The catering manager Melissa Ginolfi, and the maitre d Nemo (along with his crew) were excellent. Having people at the venue who supported us and helped us was essential and we received tremendous help from everyone. We couldn't have been happier. The inclusion of the Presidential suit for the newly wed couple was a bonus and we truly enjoyed having a room to run to when needed. The food was great and the ambiance was great. My husband and I walked away as a married couple very happy!Thanks everyone <3

I was a part of the bridal party. During the rehearsal dinner the Maitre' D disappeared, he didn't give any directions nor participated in any of the organization and preparation for the event. Everything was done by the reverend, who said that he had never seen anything so disorganized coming from banquet management. On the wedding day, I witnessed the Maitre D come to the bride's suite to harass her about the final count. Throughout the wedding the Maitre' D harassed the bride about alcohol and guests being drunk, and threatening to remove guests that were drunk. The worst Maitre D' ever!!

Celebrated the marriage of two very dear friends at the Sterling Ballroom. The venue was lovely, the food was great, and the staff was very pleasant. Certainly a night to remember! 5 Stars!

I concur with Mr. Peck. I was at their wedding, and my wife was one of the bride maids. I have never seen anything like it. The Maitre' D was invisible, and the management along with the Maitre D' did nothing but harass the bride and groom on the most special day of their life with to put up more money at the most inappropriate time. They do not come up with solutions, what they do is create stress and problems. My advice is to run away.

Our wedding was 7/9/17 and we couldn't have been more happy with the venue. It was the first venue we looked at and after tasting the food, we booked it immediately. Melissa and the rest of the Sterling Ballroom and Doubletree staff were all extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. We requested food to be brought to our room the night of our wedding instead of having it at our table since we knew we wouldn't have time to eat it and at the end of our party, it was waiting for us. Nemo cleaned up all of our items that we decorated with and we found them in our suite after our reception, as well. We are extremely satisfied with how everything turned out. Our only recommendation would be for the hotel to keep a credit card on file for the payment of any additional wedding guests to avoid the annoyance that is mentioned in all of these other comments. However, we would recommend this venue :)

On July 30, 2017 I was an usher at my friends wedding, the night before he also held his rehearsal dinner at the Sterling Ballroom. For the rehearsal dinner and the wedding the wait staff servicing the cocktail hour and reception were very good. However, I also experienced the maitre’d (Nemorio Rincon) not taking any initiative during the rehearsal nor the wedding ceremony. The groom had a room available for his ushers to change into there tuxedo’s. While we were in the room the grooms daughter knocked on our door to speak with the groom. I noticed the groom getting upset and asked what was the problem. He proceeded to tell me that the maitre’d insisted that he (the groom) pay the balance of the dinner plates, which was the total of two plates. Before the ceremony the maitre’d did not take charge of getting the wedding party in order. If I did not speak directly to him, he would have walked out of the room into the courtyard all by himself without the wedding party. While we were taking pictures management also approached the bride and groom for final payment of the dinner plates, the same two plates. During the reception while having dinner, the maitre’d once again approached the bride and groom for payment. Now I ask you, who does that? On this special day that can not be recreated. The bride and groom already paid for over 130 dinner plates, was spending the weekend at the hotel, very unprofessional

I attended my Friends wedding on June 30, 2017. At first we were having a lovely time and everything looked so beautiful... Up until I saw the maître d' incessantly interrupting the bride and the groom asking them for money !!! I myself was very taken back at the unprofessional, rude, disgraceful behavior of the staff !!The bride and groom are supposed to be celebrating their Big Day, when in fact I witnessed the look of anxiety & horror on their faces because the maître d' was so bold and rude and absolutely wrong for the way he handled something so irrelevant . When I attended their wedding I was actually hoping to book my Wedding at the same place... Please stay away from this place. All they care about is the money. Upper management refuses to offer solutions as they state in their mission statement. The Maitre D literally knocked on my door while hair and makeup was getting done to collect more money. This place does not deserve your business.

Would never recommend this place to any of my clients. The pros were that the food and staff that handle the wedding were great. However as we had problems with rooms (air mattresses deflated and guest woke up on floor) and the wedding Maitre D (My DJ even said he was the worst he has seen) , the general manager response was I'm sorry. The company's mission statement is to fix a problem and make it right with solutions. We were offered no solutions whatsoever. I have never in my life been handled like this. Considering it was a wedding day for my wife that took numerous hours of planning, the hotels response was poor and unacceptable. Numerous negative reviews will continue from my bridal party and hotel guests that witnessed the above mentioned issues.

Melissa Ginolfi Was the angel that did helped us from the beginning to the end, and I call her angel, because me and my wife came with over 50 questions, and after she answered everything, after all concerns cleared, her question was.. what else do you got!! She is awesome.We did went to check 5 venues, totally waste of time, none of them treated us the way that we got treated at the Sterlyng Ballroom. I can certainly give 10 stars all the way, clearly I love my wife and won't get married again, but if this is your venue of choice, please send me the invite.

Our wedding was at the Channel club in Monmouth Beach on New Years Eve. Of course, as you can imagine, a hotel room block is a necessity for a New Years Eve Wedding because no one will want to drive! In addition to that fact, I had a lot of family coming to the wedding from out of town. I went to the Double Tree in Tinton Falls and was directed to Keni Lopez. Let me tell you what a pleasure it was working with her! She is the Group Sales coordinator for room blocks. Keni was helpful, genuine, and lovely throughout the whole process. She helped me in more ways than one to keep my wedding of 200+ guests organized! Thank you to the Double Tree for the wonderful room accommodations and a gigantic thank you to Keni for all of your help. I recommend this hotel 100%!!

I cannot say enough about Sterling Ballroom! It is almost ridiculous how much you get for your money, especially compared to other venues in the area. Victoria was incredible in her planning and answered my endless emails (within the hour every time!) with patience and a smiley face! The day of, everything was completely seamless. Our maitre de Nemo was excellent, there was not one hitch (and if there was, he must have fixed it before we knew). The food is INCREDIBLE, cocktail hour stations are different and delicious and the meals were amazing. Our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to. You will not be disappointed!! I wish I could give 10 stars!!!

I would like to thank Doubletree Hilton upper management for approving the Back to the Future Deloren to be placed inside due to the very inclement weather. I cannot say enough about your catering manager Mellisa Ginolfi. She has made this very special event a pleasure to do business with her. She accommodated my daughters every detail for the event, which was enormous. We have received many high raves from our guests covering all aspects of the event. This property does not stop until they get it perfect. Catering manager Melissa Ginolfi was stellar in working with me - I'm big on details and the like, and she appreciated that and did everything I asked for to a T. Service was exceptional - no stone was unturned. In addition, the property did something I was not originally aware of that blew me away - as our wedding was movie-themed, we rented a DeLorean Time Machine as seen in \"Back to the Future.\" The original idea was to have it outside for pictures but the weather was terrible. The team at the DoubleTree worked with the car owner to actually get the car INSIDE the hotel ballroom lobby for pictures. This was all done by the time cocktail hour started, apparently. When I saw the car inside, I wept with joy. What a surprise!! Our guests loved it and took pictures with the car and tagged it all over social media. I recommend this property and their staff 1000%. If you want a beautiful, clean venue with the best staff around, look no further than the DoubleTree in Eatontown, NJ!
