We had our wedding reception at Stewart Manor Country Club on December 3, 2023. SMCC was the third venue we toured and from the moment we walked in to the ballroom we knew that this was it. The venue is meticulously maintained, and has a super clean, classy vibe. We toured other places after this and nothing could compare to how well manicured this place is. You can tell that it is ran with passion and attention to details that often get overlooked. But even if the venue could not sell it self based on looks alone, John, James and Lisa certainly could. They were each amazing to deal with. When we went to book we had the most delicious tasting, they fed us so much and everything they brought out was better than then next. John really goes above and beyond for his couples and you can tell how passionate he is about his venue. Lisa is a sweetheart, sheâs always willing to help and has the patience of a saint. When finalizing our menu we must have asked her a million different ridiculous questions and she was always so helpful. As far as James, all the reviews you see for him are true. Heâs excellent. From bustling my ballgown to making sure we ate, he allowed us to enjoy our day without having to lift a finger. James was prepared for anything. He was always keeping an eye on us and anticipating our needs, which really kept the pressure off. He really is fantastic and made sure everything was smooth and perfect for us. Our guests said they had a great time, the food was truly amazing!

If your on the fence about booking Stewart Manor for your wedding - DO it! We got married October 2023 and can honestly not say enough good things about the venue and the team. The club gives off cozy country club vibes - not too fancy - which was perfect for us. Lisa, Jon, and James made the day of and all the details and planning easy - despite the hectic nature of a wedding. Honestly I could write a whole review about James himself and how amazing, attentive, and kind he was. (Seriously just get married here for James alone! My one bridesmaid even tried to hire him for her wedding!)The food (and food tasting) was incredible, the fireplace was on for the ceremony (raining out) - which made the ceremony extra special and cozy. My husband and I could not be happier with the hospitality, warmth, care, professionalism, and attention to detail that the team at Stewart Manor Country Club provided for our wedding. John, Lisa, and James (and Dani!) are absolutely amazing at what they do. Not only do they have the ability to execute any ideas that you may have, they have a wealth of knowledge (and seemingly endless warehouse of decorations) that they are more than happy to share to make your wedding day absolutely perfect. Leading up to our wedding, we gave James our general design plan and supplied decorations that we thought fit the theme (winter library), but otherwise gave little specific guidance on how to set up ceremony space or the various spaces within the venue (since we had neither the energy nor artistic eye to plan out those details). What James was able to put together for us was absolutely stunning and better than anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have had multiple guests describe the ambiance James was able to create for us as âstunningâ and âmagical.â On the day of our wedding, my husband and I wanted for nothing. Indeed, without ever having to ask for anything, the team at SMCC anticipated our every need. James, in particular, had everything we never knew we needed within arms reach (including, among other things, fashion tape, a scrunchy, and bobby pins, all of which James kept stored in his fashion-forward utility vest), and did everything he possibly could (including holding the train of my dress outside in the rain while we were outside smoking) to ensure my husband and I were as comfortable as possible. Weâve heard from many guests that their experience with SMCCâs team was no less amazing.Our guests all raved about the food, particularly the filet mignon and chicken francaise, and marveled at the table service for bar drinks (which seems all but unheard of these days). My husband happened to be partial to the spinach ravioli alfredo served with dinner, and I loved the mac & cheese included in the BBQ station and the buffalo chicken pizza from the pizza station. When my husband and I were choosing between wedding venues, many venues we looked at seemed to be nothing more than wedding factories. Almost every venue we visited or contacted focused their sales pitch on one thing: what services they could sell us from their catalogue of cookie-cutter wedding options. SMCC was different. In fact, after a long day of visiting venues, we realized that Lisa of SMCC was the only person we had met at any venue who bothered to ask my husband and I about our relationship and our interestsâe.g., how we met, how my husband had proposed, what we did for a living, what we did for fun, and what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was this human touch that made SMCC stand out among the sea of venue options. And it is this human touch that I believe makes the team at SMCC excel at what they do. I canât say enough to thank everyone at the Stewart Manor Country Club for all they did to make our daughter's wedding such a beautiful and memorable day. From the gorgeous landscaping out front to the delicious food starting with the cocktail hour through the dinner and onto the dessert buffet, people were complimenting us on our choice of venue to host our daughterâs special day. John the owner could not do enough for us. He assisted throughout the evening, making us and all of our guests feel so welcome. James made the process for our daughter and ourselves a pleasure, was attentive and available checking in frequently throughout the evening, and engaging in lighthearted fun with all the guests. We couldnât have been happier from start to finish and would highly recommend the Stewart Manor Country Club for your big day.

Book them immediately, do NOT think just do you, youâll be amazed. First and foremost, Lisa, John and James are 10/10. Thereâs no words to describe them, from the moment we came in to when we left, it felt like they were family and not some money hungry wedding venue. We went to nearly 40 venues all requiring massive amounts of money and when asked what for they didnât have a solid answer for. Stewart manor, complete opposite, they know how to do business and literally tell you everything up front! Want to try the food before booking? Go for it. Throughout our year of planning from when we signed with Stewart manor, we literally would meet people through work or friends and would hear unbelievable stories about how well Stewart manor handles their events. From James being a freakin Superman to Lisa handling your paperwork then serving attendees during your event and even John checking in on all the guests, how theyâre doing, how they like the venue, the food, drinks, atmosphere. Now onto James because I think he needs his own review, James who is basically the guy that handles everything for you from week of and day of the wedding is literally a Superman. This guy was serving the bridal party drinks, fixing the brides dress, making sure all vendors arrived and even setup the main room all while running around and continuously just being the most hospitable host anyone could be. While the bridal party was taking photos outside, James popped out of one of the front windows with 7 drinks and was half way out of the window serving my bridal party. This guy ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!Book Stewart manor, youâll be so happy you did.Thank you Lisa James and John!!!!!! Weâll be back!

Stewart Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding this past July! From the very beginning, the entire team and staff did their best to make us and our families feel confident and at ease that our special day would go smoothly. John and James were both SO SO incredible in the planning process and on the day itself, making it an amazing day for us, our families, and our guests. The food at Stewart Manor was excellent in taste, quantity, and variety (everybody complimented a different menu item!). The venue is very tasteful and looked amazing both inside and outside on the gorgeous lawn. Overall, we do not have enough good things to say about our wedding at Stewart Manor, and we would recommend that anyone looking to have a beautiful Long Island wedding book here.

I got married at Stewart Manor Country Club on September 5, 2021. James and the owner were great leading up to the day and assured me that I had nothing to worry about. Day-of, we had some hiccups with inclement weather and they made everything work last minute. Everyone loved the venue and food. They are extremely professional and all of the vendors in the area know them and were very pleased to work with them.

Itâs been a little over a week since our wedding and we are still glowing with joy from such a perfect day. Itâs cliche, but RUN donât walk to book your wedding or event at Stewart Manor Country Club. Lisa, James and John are not only incessantly helpful, they make you feel like family and that they are throwing a wedding for one of their own. Up until the day, we must have called Lisa 900 times and she never got sick of us. From our first of the 900 calls to our last appointment for decor drop off, she made a nervous bride feel at ease. If you know me, that is not an easy task. She was our point person until the day of our wedding and crucial to making it the magical day it was. Fast forward to wedding day. Every last detail was impeccable - from when I got there with grass stains on my dress and James tide penned it out to when I stayed at least a half an hour past our time with not one mention of it from the staff. My outdoor ceremony was breathtaking because they keep the grounds absolutely perfect. During cocktail hour, John watched as we happily greeted all of our guests but also was kind enough to make us heaping plates of all the food we had to offer our guests. Because of his attention and care we got to enjoy our cocktail hour to the utmost, which every bride knows is nearly impossible. The food itself is phenomenal - everything - but Iâd die for their ravioli Alfredo. James is a mixology wizard and due to his creativity we had 2 signature drinks that our guests have not stopped talking about (mine was a margarita that changed colors)! We added as many personal touches as we could throughout the wedding. We had a unique seating chart that James had to set up without our input, signs candles frames lights flowers the whole shebang. Every single piece of decor was arranged exactly as I had envisioned in each space, with care and an artful eye.The reception space is gorgeous and while it fits 150+ people, every second felt wonderfully intimate. The way it is set up allowed me to see and dance with all of my guests. The waitstaff took such excellent care of my guests and I was not in need for even one second. John James and Sandy made sure I always had a drink in my hand and food on my plate, and my husband even got a second filet mignon. He even went to refuse it, and was reminded that he was the man of the hour and could have anything he wanted. The staff treats you exactly how you want to be treated on your wedding day. Without going into detail, I had a bit of family drama unfold and James saved the day with that as well. You are just in the best hands and the best company with SMCC. There are too many good things to say. I will be forever grateful for the incredible day and night these guys gave us. We will miss them, but weâll see them for our baby shower and anniversary and any other excuse we have!!

Words cannot totally capture how special this place is or how much they did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we met James and John at our first visit, we know this place was where we wanted to get married. It was clear that they take a very personal approach to couples and will go above and beyond to help you create your dream wedding. We literally both left in tears, because we knew we found the venue that felt like home to us both. This only became more true throughout the planning process and on the day of. Our tasting was phenomenal, and getting to bring our parents made it so much more special (they even packed stuff up for my dad who was home with COVID). The day we dropped everything off James made me feel so comfortable and excited. I trusted him completely, and for good reason. He seriously knows what he is doing, and will make sure your day is perfect. The day of our wedding, I swear he knew I needed a glass of water before my brain could even recognize I was thirsty and appeared with my sneakers the second my feet had had enough of my heels.Just another example of how this venue goes above and beyond for their brides. John, James and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure our day went beautifully and it did! John (the owner) even went out of his way to make me and my husband two plates of food during cocktail hour. If it wasnât for him I surely wouldnât have eaten until dinner. James, OMG I donât have enough words to describe how wonderful he is to have by your side on your wedding day!!! He was by my side all day if I needed ANYTHING. HE EVEN BUSTLED MY DRESS FOR ME and repaired it with safety pins when I had a wardrobe malfunction. He is simply the BEST!! The food was sooooo delicious and plentiful. Best food I have ever had at a wedding (not just because it was my own). The venue itself is gorgeous and I LOVE that you are not sharing the venue with anyone else. Seriously, I could not be happier with the service we had on our wedding day. This is a very special place with some VERY special people working there. Thank you everyone at Stewart manor for all that you did for us. We are so grateful to have booked our wedding here!!!!!

I could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding! The staff at Stewart Manor worked with me throughout the wedding planning process. I loved that there was open communication and I could reach out to James and Lisa anytime with any questions I had. I gave them my vision for the wedding, and they made it come to life. The space is beautiful, the food was amazing, and all the staff were so nice and accommodating. I loved having James as our officiant and maitre d. SMCC is the absolute most incredible place to have your wedding. If you are looking to have confidence in the vendors you choose, you MUST have your wedding (or any event) here. I had never been to a wedding here before, but visited just because of the reviews I was seeing online. After meeting with John and James I left there knowing I needed to book with them. Their professionalism and kindness are unmatched, especially in the wedding industry where I've heard of plenty of nightmare stories. From the second I met them to picking up my wedding items the day after, I couldn't have been more sure that I was in the best hands with John and James. They truly made the whole day go off without a hitch. James also deserves his own review, and is just the most amazing maĂŽtre d. I know every other review says how much they want to be friends with him and bring him home forever and they are all completely right, even months after my wedding we are all still saying the same thing. I've never met someone who is as good at what they do as him. I truly just don't even have the right words to tell you how amazing James is. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and puts everything into it and in turn helps you have the best day ever.Everything was perfect and John was incredibly helpful in making that happen. Any ideas I had were answered with \"we can make that happen\". My wedding was the last weekend in October for which we ended up having perfect weather but John was on top of options for us way before we even knew the forecast. We had about 150 people and it didn't feel cramped at all. You can utilize the outdoor space all night (we had a cigar roller come) as well as the cocktail area throughout the night and it just makes for the perfect amount of space for people to split up. We were able to have cocktail tables outside for cocktail hour so we had our guests split up between the cocktail room and outside which was perfect, they provided heaters for the outdoor area. I also can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely amazing. I have been hearing from everyone since my wedding how amazing the food was, it really was amazing. Definitely some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. I truly can't say enough about SMCC. You won't be disappointed in the slightest having your wedding here, you will be in the best hands.

I hosted my engagement party at Stewart Manor Country Club this past Saturday and I cannot thank them enough for such a beautiful night! From the moment I first spoke to their team, they made everything so easy. The beautiful grounds and interior make for an amazing experience from the second guests arrive. The team was so flexible and accommodating, they gave me really great guidance on decorations, florals, DJ, and the order of events for the evening. Lisa was so helpful during the planning process, helping us with our menu and making sure we stayed on top of our timeline. James is hands down the BEST event manager Iâve ever encountered during an event! I met with him the week before to drop off my decorations and I was in AWE when I arrived and everything was set up exactly how we discussed and even better than I could have imagined. The food was SO GOOD, my guests were raving about everything from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dessert spread. We are so thankful for the entire team, John, Lisa, James and the fantastic service staff at Stewart Manor Country Club and will truly never forget the amazing night they hosted for us â¤ď¸ 20/10 recommend for any type of event (shower, engagement party, wedding, etc.)

Our wedding day happened to be on the coldest day of the year, and John and James pulled out all the stops to help us move our wedding portraits inside, in front of the beautiful fire place and mantle. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious, my guests are still raving about the filet mignon. And there was never a line at the bar. The service was truly phenomenal. James helped my groom and I to have a special moment listening to the band practice and enjoy each other's company before joining the cocktail hour. James and John went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most perfect and magical day! We had our ceremony in the beautiful gazebo (the stone walkway is a great new aisle!) and went right into cocktail & reception. The cocktail hour stations are delicious and fun (Coney Island station was a hit!!) James bustled my dress in a flash and was there whenever we needed him! The afterparty was beautiful with the flowers, lights and we were able to set up games like cornhole and large jenga. Cannot recommend Stewart Manor enough!!!

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Stewart Manor Country Club. From the moment we visited the venue for the first time, we fell in love and immediately knew that we wanted to get married here. From the very beginning, we were treated like family. We were even invited to have a menu tasting with our Maid-of-Honor and Best Man before signing our contract.The service we received was unparalleled. John, the owner, and James, the maĂŽtre d', were amazing and helped us plan our ceremony and reception every step of the way. They took their time to answer all our questions with charm and grace, and we had a lot of them! James took his time to help us outline the run of show and saw to it that every detail was taken care of, from the bar customizations to the special food requests. Our wedding day was truly a dream, and everything was executed seamlessly and beautifully. The venue was beautiful. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and the dining room for our reception was stunning. James and John were there to ensure everything went smoothly. James anticipated our every need that day. He worked with our photographer to coordinate our first look, managed our onsite vendors, pinned the boutonnières on our groomsmen, ensured that everything was decorated to our specifications, and even helped reformat our ceremony precession and reception introductions when one of my bridesmaids dropped out the night before the wedding. During our reception, James always made himself available; he bustled my dress and pinned it up when it was stepped on, helped me in and out of my wedding shoes, and refilled my glass with sparkling rosĂŠ before I even asked. He is truly a gem, and I was so grateful to have him as our day-of coordinator. I could go on and on about how fabulous this venue is. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Stewart Manor Country Club. From the moment we visited the venue for the first time, we fell in love and immediately knew that we wanted to get married here. From the very beginning, we were treated like family. We were even invited to have a menu tasting with our Maid-of-Honor and Best Man before signing our contract.The service we received was unparalleled. John, the owner, and James, the maĂŽtre d', were amazing and helped us plan our ceremony and reception every step of the way. They took their time to answer all our questions with charm and grace, and we had a lot of them! James took his time to help us outline the run of show and saw to it that every detail was taken care of, from the bar customizations to the special food requests. Our wedding day was truly a dream, and everything was executed seamlessly and beautifully. The venue was beautiful. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and the dining room for our reception was stunning. James and John were there to ensure everything went smoothly. James anticipated our every need that day. He worked with our photographer to coordinate our first look, managed our onsite vendors, pinned the boutonnières on our groomsmen, ensured that everything was decorated to our specifications, and even helped reformat our ceremony precession and reception introductions when one of my bridesmaids dropped out the night before the wedding. During our reception, James always made himself available; he bustled my dress and pinned it up when it was stepped on, helped me in and out of my wedding shoes, and refilled my glass with sparkling rosĂŠ before I even asked. He is truly a gem, and I was so grateful to have him as our day-of coordinator. I could go on and on about how fabulous this venue is. 5/2/2022I recently had my daughter's Bridal shower at this charming venue which was absolutely beautiful! The entire event was fabulous from start to finish! The food was outstanding. The staff was amazing. And then of course there was James our maitre d/manager- he's such a great person - he genuinely cares - very accommodating and made sure everything ran smoothly. This quaint venue hosts only one event at a time - making you feel special. I have not stop talking about what a great time we had. My daughter could not stop smiling. Two of my dearest friends were married here this past weekend. I was in the unique position of being not only a guest at the wedding, but also the musician for the outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour, which involved a number of other musicians and a fairly complicated equipment set-up as well. Given this, I'm able to write this review from a truly singular perspective. The bottom line is, Stewart Manor Country Club was Five Stars in every respect.The space itself is truly lovely, a perfect blend of high-end elegance and cozy intimacy. The outdoor space, where the ceremony was held, is stunning, especially in the autumn with the surrounding trees in their finest colors. The cocktail lounge and bar, as well as the main room, feel warm and inviting; little details like an active fireplace in the reception room and the window-seat benches in the cocktail lounge create an atmosphere that is effortlessly classy. I can't imagine a place more perfectly suited for a wedding or private event.The food and drink were restaurant-quality right down the line, from salad to dessert. Frankly, I canât remember the last time I relished every bite of the main course at a wedding; thereâs usually something on the plate that disappoints. Not in this case. I would recommend the food here over similar venues in a heartbeat.My greatest praise, however, must be reserved for our event host, maitreâd and man who ran the show, James. To say that James did an incredible job putting everyone at ease and making every part of this event successful is to say the least. His sincerity, care and professionalism extends to everyone who visits Stewart Manor Country Clubâand that most notably includes visiting musicians. Trust me, Iâve worked at every level of venue from little hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the most tony event locations in NYC and Long Island, and Iâve seldom if ever come across a maitreâd who goes out of his way to support and accommodate âoutsideâ musicians, clergy, photographers, etc. like James. I want to get divorced so I can have another wedding at Stewart Manor Country Club!!! James Poirot and John Parks are the best youâll ever find. John Parks has put so much time and energy into remodeling the club, providing amazing food, and taking care of his brides! Heâs the nicest!!! And thereâs is a reason why James is famous on The Knot. He is the hardest worker. Leading up to our wedding he was so helpful answering questions and allowing me to bounce ideas off of him. He even stepped in for me when I had an issue with my band. During the reception, heâs there by your side to help the entire time. I had multiple people come up to me at the end of the reception and say how awesome James was, including my photographer! Not only was he there helping me out, but he made all the transitions from cocktail hour to getting announced to the party seamless. At one point in the night he even had a waiters coat on! He was carrying 14 plates at a time and was handing out meals! He does it all!!! I also had everyone comment about the food!! The cocktail hour stations are incredible. People went nuts over the bbq, Italian, mashed potato bar, and Coney Island stations. The mac and cheese and brisket were a huge hit! Everyone at Stewart Manor were helpful, kind, and professional. I hope I get invited to someone elseâs wedding at Stewart Manor CC, so I can experience it again!

We just had our wedding at the Stewart Manor Country Club and could not be happier with our experience. James executed every detail we wanted and the venue was everything we dreamed for our wedding. The food from both cocktail hour and dinner was delicious and guests are still commenting on the wonderful experience of the venue.  James listened and worked with us to execute our vision and to make our wedding unique and memorable. For example, we wanted to have a Philadelphia cheese-steak station during cocktail hour, which is not on the menu. James was very excited to make this happen and it was a huge hit among guests (and delicious).  James and Theresa, as well the rest of the staff, ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening and took away all the stress of such a big day. Leading up to the big day, and from the moment we walked in the door of our reception to when we left after the party was over, we felt so comfortable and in good hands.  The cozy feel of the Stewart Manor Country Club was perfect for us, as we were looking for something different from the \"wedding factory\" feel of many venues in the area. We were the only event at the venue and the space felt like it was truly our own.

We just had our wedding at the Stewart Manor Country Club and could not be happier with our experience. James executed every detail we wanted and the venue was everything we dreamed for our wedding. The food from both cocktail hour and dinner was delicious and guests are still commenting on the wonderful experience of the venue.  James listened and worked with us to execute our vision and to make our wedding unique and memorable. For example, we wanted to have a Philadelphia cheese-steak station during cocktail hour, which is not on the menu. From the beginning, James and his team were always approachable, responsive, and so helpful throughout the planning process. We wanted to do a brunch wedding and James allowed us to come up with our own menu, which everyone was raving about. On the day of the wedding, he was present and was consistently checking in with us to make sure my husband and I were happy with everything. He knew exactly what to do and helped everything run smoothly. My wedding day was a dream come true thanks to him, his team, and this incredible venue. The food was fantastic along with the service minus the bartender at the reception/ cocktail hour (he was kind of a jerk and rude). Iâm not what you consider a typical Long Island bride. When on the search for a venue, I was not wooed by waterfalls, gardens, crystal chandeliers, and dramatic staircases. All I wanted was a cozy, intimate, rustic place that would invoke the spirit of my Thanksgiving wedding...AND accommodate my 150 guests. Itâs disappointing how hard-to-come-by these are around here, but thankfully, there was SMCC. From the two fireplaces to the pub-like bar to the cathedral wooden-beamed ceilings to the overall Holiday Inn-like ambiance (I half-expected Fred Astaire to come dancing out at any minute), SMCC was our vision realized, the heart of our wedding day. It was beautiful without ever approaching gaudy. We wanted everyone to feel like they were invited to another Thanksgiving dinner in a much-larger home, and that desire was fulfilled. Our guests commented ceaselessly throughout the night how comfortable they were, how incredible the food was (I can attest to thatâI made sure I ate!), and how the drinks were flowing. Our recommended signature drink, a pumpkin pie martini, was absolutely deliciousâand they were able to procure Octoberfest as one of our beers. James, June, and the rest of the staff were simply outstanding. Everything ran smoothly and impeccably. My husband and I were well-attended to all night, and if it wasnât for James, my bustle wouldâve never come out right (heâs a master!). They decorated the venue beautifully for Christmas at our request. The transition from cocktail hour to dinner (which had me slightly nervous, as both took place in the ballroom) was seamless, and my husband and I were granted a moment in there alone with the photographer as we asked (and âWhite Christmasâ was playingâcould not have been more ideal!). I wish I could go back and relive that reception. It was perfection. Brides seeking something other than overdone, garish grandeur thatâs far too abundant on Long Island, please pay a visit to SMCC. Youâll find yourself booking in no time.

I was very unsure when I first went to the tasting at Stewart Manor. They are all very very nice there, the room is beautiful - very homey feel in a residential neighborhood which is what we wanted. The food was so so good. I was also not sure if I should stick with the cake that came with the menu - but I am so glad we did because it was very very good. The price was reasonable compared to any other NY/LI reception halls.

The pre-function area includes a real bar with seating, not those little portable stations you see in most places. All of my guests loved this place and commented on how cozy, romantic and beautifully decorated it was. There is a lovely gazebo out front which was perfect for us to use for our wedding ceremony. The staff was very attentive and accomodating. I must give James, our Maitre'd special mention. If we though of something, James was right there to handle it, almost before we could ask. Water, drinks, a tablecloth to cover the bench so we could sit during the outside pictures, anything we asked, James was there. The catering was included in our package. There were many options to choose from. We chose to do a buffet. the food was plentiful and excellent. I wish I could give this place 20 stars. My husband and I just got married here on March 17, 2012. I could have not asked for a better experience. From the very first day we met with James and Trish, I knew this was where we were meant to get married. The main room where our ceremony and reception was held took my breath away with the wood beams and white drapes, and the beautiful working fireplace. It has a separate bar area which is set up to look like an actual BAR! All gorgeous wood counters and tables and chairs and also a separate area for the cocktail hour with table and chairs.\r\rThe day OF our wedding, James was the Maitre D and wherever I went, James was right behind me. He kept everything running smoothly and knew exactly what he was doing. He french bustled my dress, helped me changed out of my shoes, directed everyone where to stand, what to do and when to get out of my way lol. The entire staff was friendly and professional. There is only one event here at a time which was very important to me. The entire evening was warm and intimate. The drinks were constantly flowing, the lighting was JUST RIGHT, The food was delicious, the cake (which was included in our package) was DELICIOUS - Chocolate cake and cannoli filling YUM!!! \r\rI did not have to add anything to this place as far as my centerpieces. Stewart Manor was one of our best vendors of all. The food was to die for. I heard the cocktail hour food was delicious. They gave DH his cheeseburger, fries and mozzarella sticks for dinner. It was definitely a plus to be the only event there. I dropped off wedding things a couple of days before and left notes. They followed every note I left. At one point in the night, my bustle ripped and one of the girls working there sewed it for me. \rOur night wouldnât have run smoothly if it werenât for James, our matrie'd. From the moment we arrived, he was helpful! We were taking pictures on the front lawn and there he was taking our drink orders. He came out with his silver tray with our drinks. While I drank, he held my bouquet. At one point he came out with some food from the cocktail hour so we could enjoy it. Before going inside after pictures, James cleaned off my heels since I had grass stuck on them. I ended up getting dirt on the bottom of my gown so when I had it bustled later on James was there, cleaning the stain out with club soda. He even taped the bottom of my momâs dress when she ripped her hem! James ran the grand entrance for our parents, bridal party, and us. He told us when our dances were going to be, as well as helped us with the cake cutting. James went above and beyond. Brides who have their weddings at Stewart Manor Country Club are very lucky to have James as their maitreâd.

Stewart Manor was one of our best vendors of all. The food was to die for. I heard the cocktail hour food was delicious. They gave DH his cheeseburger, fries and mozzarella sticks for dinner. It was definitely a plus to be the only event there. I dropped off wedding things a couple of days before and left notes. They followed every note I left. At one point in the night, my bustle ripped and one of the girls working there sewed it for me. \rOur night wouldnât have run smoothly if it werenât for James, our matrie'd. From the moment we arrived, he was helpful! We were taking pictures on the front lawn and there he was taking our drink orders. He came out with his silver tray with our drinks. While I drank, he held my bouquet. At one point he came out with some food from the cocktail hour so we could enjoy it. Before going inside after pictures, James cleaned off my heels since I had grass stuck on them. I ended up getting dirt on the bottom of my gown so when I had it bustled later on James was there, cleaning the stain out with club soda. He even taped the bottom of my momâs dress when she ripped her hem! James ran the grand entrance for our parents, bridal party, and us. He told us when our dances were going to be, as well as helped us with the cake cutting. James went above and beyond. Brides who have their weddings at Stewart Manor Country Club are very lucky to have James as their maitreâd.

From the moment we walked in for our meeting with the folks at Stewart Manor, we knew this was our place. They absolutely had us feel like family from the very first meeting, walking us through the venue, talking us through what we wanted for our day. And unlike most wedding halls in LI, the price doesn't change from season to season, and they were clear about all costs-- so there was no sales conversation/teaser-- it was all upfront left for us to decide if we were able to afford their services.\rThey only have the room to have one event at a time which was important to us. We wanted to feel like we invited everyone over to our home on the day we happened to get married and that was absolutely the feeling we got. \rThe food was amazing-- we asked for a mashed potato bar which was a hit. The dinner was spaced out so well throughout the night, at no time did it feel like we had too much or were waiting too long. They recently changed their cake vendor, and our cake was delicious and beautiful.\r\rThe wait staff was incredible, they are a professional bunch of folks that really know how to move the evening along. Our head waiter kept checking in with us to make sure the evening was going according to plan-- and would frequently get us drinks or move our jackets/ flowers/ etc when we had left them around the venue. \r\rJune, James, and Tricia are all so professional and worked with us every step of the way. They are a great group of people, they really understand what it is to do a beautiful event and take care of all the details without being overwhelming. Big Kudos to June, if you don't have a coordinator and you are doing your event at Stewart Manor, she is incredible and will really guide you in a way that makes you feel right at home.

It took me & my husband a long time to select a wedding venue. We were only having 80-100 people, and found many venues had an amazing ballroom and a smaller, unattractive room upstairs, or in the basement for smaller parties. Finally when we found Stewart Manor, we knew it was our place! The entire look & feel of the place was absolutley beautiful and romantic. Everyone we dealt wiht was super nice. We had an amazing time!

The food was better than most high priced catering halls that I have been to. The decor of the hall reminded my husband and I of a Swiss Chalet. With natural wood floors and beams lining the ceiling. We had a big Ivory fireplace in the front that the ceremony took place in front of and then later we sat in front of at the reception. On the opposite end of us clear across the wooden dance floor was the Dj, (or band if you choose) where they have their own stage to set up on instead of taking up precious dance floor space. I could not have asked for anything more.

I loved the banquet manager who made me feel very comfortable, the food, and the fact that it only holds one wedding at a time.;The Bridal Suite should be renovated. The suite was small and pretty old and needs new furniture

James J. Poirot (Director of Catering) If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. These are the words I have lived by in the 27 years that I have had the pleasure of calling Stewart Manor Country Club my home away from home. I started my catering career as a dishwasher at the Stewart Manor Country Club and have worked every facet of the industry from waiting tables, to bartending, to event coordination. My position as Director of Catering is not only a title, but a position I am proud to have earned. I look forward to working with you at our truly historic venue.
