A Idyllic Setting for Weddings & Events
Weâre the Goldbergs! In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. Brothers framed the buildings. Grandparents made the stained glass. Siblings, cousins, uncles, significant others, and friends helped to piece together the interior details and bring this vision to life. We believe that the focus of any celebration should be on the joy you share with the people you love, so weâre here to take care of some of the details. Stillwater Meadow, named for the sweet pond and beautiful field on the property, is a charming event venue located in Aledo, TX. Our sprawling property offers a scenic wedding chapel and reception hall and separate get-ready spaces for any wedding party to enjoy. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers a kitchen, mirrored salon, and large porches on the front and back of the house. The 1905 is a remodeled ranger station (from, you guessed it, 1905). It offers a relaxing atmosphere complete with a patio area. Our Chapel features stained-glass windows and antique pews. For those wishing to stage an outdoor ceremony, the sides of the chapel open up to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 250 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with grand chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. String lights hang from the mezzanine level within this space, offering a magical atmosphere for stunning reception events. All four buildings are climate-controlled, allowing couples to utilize these spaces year-round. We have a close relationship with an AirBnB on the property that sleeps 16 and provides a great place to stay for wedding parties and families. While our venue is located close to modern amenities, youâre guaranteed a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.

I cannot say enough good things about Stillwater and their entire team! The process from start to finish was easy and fun! Our day was absolutely perfect and I donât think I could have done it without Stillwaterâs guidance. They truly cared about our wants and needs as a couple and made us feel very special. Not to mention, the venue is absolutely gorgeous!! Hardly any decor is needed because of how beautiful it is on its own.

I am so thankful we found Stillwater Meadow. We got married in May of this year and it was the wedding of our dreams!! Emma and her team made us feel so special and at ease throughout the entire process. We saved a fortune on decor by picking from their huge decor supply room that they offer to their couples, it has items for every style and aesthetic! I highly recommend Emma as a month of coordinator. I was able to spend the time leading up to my wedding and the day itself relaxing without having to worry about any of the details. This is the most beautiful venue ever! I knew from the first time we visited that this was the one! The bones of each space is perfect without anything added. Then we chose to have them decorate for us, which was one less vendor and worry. The staff also helped so much with any questions we had!

Emma and the team at Stillwater Meadow are absolutely amazing! We found Stillwater Meadow through a Google Search/The Knot Search and loved all the features from the pictures we saw online. When we finally made it out to tour the venue, the pictures that were online did not give this venue justice!! The chapel and reception hall are all handmade by their family and every piece is so beautiful and unique! Once we toured the venue, we fell in love with the idea that it gave that rustic feel, but also had the chapel aspect for the ceremony. We loved that everything we needed was onsite, from a bridal suite and a groom's suite, to the chapel and reception hall being at the same location. Another piece that helped in our decision making were all the features, inclusivity of a decor room, and pricing. The decor room in itself was massive because they had almost everything you could think of so it saved us soooo much money because we didn't have to buy as many small decorations for our tables, etc. Emma was so responsive every time I reached out with questions and the Stillwater team ensured our wedding day was a success! This is an incredible venue that treated us like we were part of their family and helped create our dream day!

Stillwater Meadow is amazing. Emma was so so helpful, so my big day was a breeze! Emma was so helpful and communicative. I highly recommend having her for coordination. Especially since I tend to ask a lot of questions, neither of them were afraid to answer them and make sure we understood what was happening/going to happen.Scheduling things were very straightforward with their online scheduling tool on their website. My husband and I LOVED our experience with Stillwater Meadow. It's family owned and ran. Emma and her mom are fantastic :). We recently had our wedding there (5/21/23). The reception hall and church are about 15 feet from each other, so its very convenient. We fully took advantage of the table decorations offered as well (they have a whole room full of decorations to pick from!). Since my husband is stationed in VA, we were unable to go in person to pick out table decorations. So Emma was kind enough to facetime us and helped us pick out the perfect table decorations! Being able to use their decorations probably saved us $1000 at minimum. Thanks to the staff the wedding went so smooth. All of our guest's couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue was. You wont regret using Stillwater meadow as your venue. It truly was the best experience.

I would seriously give 6 stars if I could! The Stillwater Meadow family made my special day and the whole wedding planning process run smoothly and seamlessly. Emma not only helped anywhere she could for the ceremony and reception but she was also my personal hype woman throughout! She made the process stress-free and made me feel beautiful while doing it. The venue was so dreamy and magical and all things sweet. I could not have asked for a better venue or staff and would HIGHLY recommend it if you're looking for a venue in the area. I promise you won't regret it!

What an amazing place to have our wedding reception! It'd take so long to write about all the great things about Stillwater Meadow, but I shall try because they deserve the praise.Not every venue offers a storeroom full of decorations that you can pick and choose from to use for your event so you don't have to buy them yourself and not know what to do with them afterwards - they reuse and recycle them which is ingenious! Not every venue offers set-up and tear-down of said decorations so you and your family/friends don't have to worry about it after the reception. Not every venue has a picture-perfect bridal house and groom's cabin for getting ready pictures. Not every venue has a beautiful, family-owned and family-built property just outside of the city for guests to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. Not every venue has access to an incredible month-of wedding coordinator like Emma who will help devise a schedule to help your wedding reception go smoothly AND be there the day of to help make sure that things ACTUALLY go smoothly and who is so warm and supportive throughout the whole process of planning the event. Not every venue has these. But guess what, folks? Stillwater Meadow does. Stillwater Meadow is such a gem of a venue. I booked here 2 years ago and it was the best decision we made. The chapel is absolutely adorable, and the reception hall is the perfect mix of everything you could want in a reception space. The bridal house was so big and perfect for my bridesmaids and hair/makeup vendors. The groom's suite is so quaint and fun, too! It was really cold on our wedding day so my groom and his guys couldn't sit outside for long, but they loved it regardless. I will always recommend Stillwater Meadow to couples looking for venues. I became so close with Emma, the coordinator through the venue. She truly made the process so flawless and stress-free for me! Love this place so much.

Stillwater Meadow is such a gem of a venue. I booked here 2 years ago and it was the best decision we made. The chapel is absolutely adorable, and the reception hall is the perfect mix of everything you could want in a reception space. The bridal house was so big and perfect for my bridesmaids and hair/makeup vendors. The groom's suite is so quaint and fun, too! It was really cold on our wedding day so my groom and his guys couldn't sit outside for long, but they loved it regardless. I will always recommend Stillwater Meadow to couples looking for venues. I became so close with Emma, the coordinator through the venue. She truly made the process so flawless and stress-free for me! Love this place so much.

The stained glass windows, spacious bridal suite, storage room full of decorations, and pricing for all of it was all incredible. My bridesmaids that got married at other venues, wished they had known about Stillwater and booked them instead. My guests were in awe of the little details, like the string lights that lined the stairs to the balcony in the reception hall. The chapel was so beautiful with all of the windows. The reception hall is the perfect combination of rustic and classic. And I love that they have a whole house for the bridal party to get ready in and a cabin for the guys to get ready in. Emma was so helpful through the entire planning process. She was quick to answer all of my questions I had and was really encouraging throughout. Even without decorations, the venue is stunning. But, I was amazed at how many decorations they had for us to choose from and everything was absolutely beautiful on the day of my wedding. If you are considering having your wedding here I definitely recommend it.

We loved our venue! The convenience of having a beautiful chapel and a gorgeous reception hall in one location for our guests was really important to us (we had a lot of out of towners). We also loved the space to get ready in - for both bride and groom. We didnât feel cramped, it was nice having a full kitchen and two full bathrooms as well as outdoor space. The chapel and reception hall done need much in terms of decorating- theyâre beautiful on their own. The outdoor space was a huge favorite of our guests- so many took amazing photos outside and enjoyed the ambiance and scenery. Lots of space and tables outside for guests to relax- and a bar as well. We loved working with Emma. Sheâs calm and organized. Definitely suggest the day of coordinating. On our wedding day we didnât speak to one vendor- or stress on timing or set up or takedown of anything. The venue is also only a 15 minute drive from Ft Worth. Our guests stayed downtown, and we hired a bus to take guests back to downtown ft worth after the reception - we continued on at Peteâs Piano Bar afterwards! If you want to stay locally- there is a brand new gorgeous hotel right down the road. On the property you also have an option to rent a house- my family did because we have lots of little kids. It was wonderful. When they were tired the babysitter took them to the house (close by -but far enough away) and they were able to go to bed. It couldnât have been better.

We first met Sharon on a whim when I typed in wedding venues in Fort Worth and Stillwater Meadow popped up. She happened to have availability for showings that Sunday so we ran out there. I'm so glad we did! Sharon and her family really have something special out there. This was the third venue we saw and it fit all of our needs and we didn't view anymore after seeing their place. They have two great areas for the Brides side and the Grooms group to get ready. A chapel for the ceremony and then a great big reception hall that isn't super over powering. The best part? They have all styles of decor in a storage room to help you make it the most perfect day! The venue itself is gorgeous with stained glass windows, wood work, fairy lights, gorgeous grounds, etc. so doesn't need much added to it. We utilized the decor they had from greenery to table and chapel decoration and even drink dispensers for when the caterer left! We only brought in literally fiveitems of our own (pictures of us/my bridals, an F sign, flowers, alcohol sign and then a sign we had made for table arrangements (even though they have the items for those things))... When I say they have everything I mean it!! Another plus was how easy they were to work with. Sharon and her daughter Emma are super sweet and have an answer for every question you have. They make you feel like family and you can schedule to go out there however many times you need to.As someone who works in finance the overall cost was very affordable in my eyes. We saved so much by not having to buy \"decor\" plus we were able to bring in all of our own vendors which helped in us finding even better deals (we did use their DJ, Bakery and catering recommendations and they were by far amazing and just as nice and reasonable as Stillwater Meadow).I highly recommend Stillwater Meadow if you are looking for a gorgeous venue that has EVERYTHING! No hidden costs, more bang for your buck, great people to work with, and all that fun stuff. We are super thankful to have met the Goldberg Family and have them be apart of one of the biggest journeys in our lives!

Stillwater is an absolutely beautiful venue. The wood used in the buildings onsite make it the perfect venue to dress up for a rustic glam event or dress down for a more earthy and neutral ceremony and reception. The inherit beauty of the reception hall and chapel were great for us, since we didnât want to buy a ton of decorations weâd never use after the wedding! (Stillwaterâs decoration closet is a massive help with this too!) Also a huge bonus, the reception hall is just a stoneâs throw from the chapel! No commuting to a separate party location for the guests.The bridal house is perfect to get ready in. A comfortable, relaxing spot to spend the morning of your wedding that easily transforms into a hair and make up salon when the HMU crew arrives! The groomsmen cabin is great too, with some games and lounge areas for the guys to relax and prep for the big day. The land and location of Stillwater next to a pond really make for amazing photo opportunities (especially in that golden light!) and I am so happy with how our pictures and the entire evening turned out. The reception was so much fun that our guests didnât want to leave!Emma is the manager of Stillwater and was our day-of coordinator, and I really donât think I could have gotten through the day without her and her assistant guiding me! She did such a beautiful job coordinating all my vendors, making sure the night ran on time, and just being there for me and my husband through all the speed bumps that are bound to come with such a big event. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and had so much fun. I can honestly say this is all thanks to Stillwater, their lovely crew, and Sharon & Emma!

I had a wonderful time working along side with the Goldberg family. Everything went amazing during my wedding, I want to relive the day over and over again! I planned my wedding from Germany and viewed the wedding venue after it was paid for. I fell more in love with the venue when I saw it in person during a short trip to Texas, the pictures and FaceTime tour do not do it justice! My husband and I loved every detail the entire family has put into the venue. The venue was perfect for our Harry Potter theme wedding!!! All of our wedding guests said amazing things about the venue! The bridal house is great and has a lot of space for everyone to get ready, it's great to take that perfect Instagram picture. The groom's cabin is historic and has a lot of character, it's perfect for the guys (or anyone that's getting ready there) to lay back while the everyone gets ready. The chapel is breath taking! I didn't want to decorate too much because it's already beautiful the way it normally is, however, you can add more if you want! :) The chapel has beautiful natural light throughout the day. The reception hall is amazing in its own way. I love the rustic feel of the hall. The big chandelier is a big focus point that invites you in. Again, this venue is great and amazing, highly recommend!

It was so easy seeing as their packages are basically all inclusive. Emma was by far the best coordinator I could have ever asked for. She made sure everything was perfect and was exactly how you wanted it. She really made it stress free, especially when it was coming down to the last few weeks. Yesterday was my 30th Birthday and Sharon allowed me and some of my friends to use the bridal suite and grounds for a birthday/boudoir photo shoot. I had been out to Stillwater Meadows before and fell in love with it. It was the perfect location to make all my birthday photoshoot dreams come true! We absolutely had a blast! The bridal suite, and really the entire venue, is pure eye candy.I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to host an event, wedding, photoshoot, you name it. It's clean, beautiful and the family that owns and manages it are the nicest, easiest to work with people.Thank you so much to Sharon and family for the use of your beautiful venue!

We just had our wedding here and it was absolutely stunning. Shannon is always adding new additions to the place and it was a perfect location for a covid environment because of all the land to wander around and social distance. This venue is truly breath taking and by far was the most complicated thing at my wedding. We only saw 1 venue 2 years ago and immediately signed the contract. Sharon is wonderful and so is her staff. My only suggestion is to hire a personal wedding planner as there is lots of land and opportunities to have on the venue it can be very overwhelming doing it on your own.

The place is so beautiful. We got married here on October 2nd.It was beautiful. This venue has a groomâs cabin, a bridal house, reception barn, and chapel and they are all so pretty. The chapel and barn hardly need any decorations due to how much natural beauty the buildings already have. Most of my decorations were very simple and it looked fantastic. Sharon is the venue manager, and her family owns and built the venue, and she is very helpful. She also has a huge dĂŠcor collection that you can use included in the rental fee. It really helped a ton for me. She has all kinds of candles, signs, faux greenery, etc. Overall, this was a really great venue and experience. We also used a bartender and day of coordinator through Sharon and Stillwater and they were good as well.

She helped us reschedule our date and made sure that we could have the day of our dreams. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding Sharon was always available to answer any and all questions we had and had the best recommendations for vendors. The venue itself is absolutely stunning from the chandeliers, to the church pews, to the bridal house. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. When booking with Stillwater Meadow, you get a beautiful ceremony & reception space complete with tables, chairs, & linens, a 3-bedroom/2-bathroom bridal suite, groom's suite separate from everything, small catering kitchen, & Sharon for all the pre-planning. We opted to pay a small fee ($50 when we booked) to use her decorations & let me tell you, she has a stockroom with literally EVERYTHING! She's a collector & has decor to fit any STYLE. This saved us so much on buying decor we'd never use again. Sharon is easy & fun to work with & knows her stuff. We also opted to hire 4 student helpers who work this venue often to help with set up & teardown for the reception & are so glad we did! They were excellent & knew their way around.The property is stunning & I had the boho forest fairy wedding of my dreams! I highly recommend Stillwater Meadow if you're getting married or want to get married in the Parker County area. I loved every second!

My husband and I got married 8 months ago on June 2 at Stillwater Meadow, and while Iâve had this written for a while now, Iâm long overdue in sharing it. First of all, planning a wedding has the potential to be incredibly stressful, but Sharon played a huge part in making every part of our planning a breeze. She was so flexible and gracious when I wanted to come up and look at the venue, dream up potential decor combination, and show off her beautiful venue to my mom and others helping with our wedding. She helped us think through flow of the reception and told us how others had arranged things, but also encouraged new ideas and bought into my vision 100%. She even let my 9yo brother hang out in her home while my mom and I picked out decorations from her amazing collection. Talk about going above and beyond! Throughout each step, Sharon constantly reminded me that I was the bride and my vision and my heart for our wedding was important. The day of the wedding, Sharon and her team were so accommodating-Sharon helped ward off early guests so my husband and I could have a private first look and even helped me pick ants out of my train when she saw them. Stillwater Meadow is the best because Sharon and her team are so kind and inviting and it is reflected in each step of the planning process, the wedding day, and the attention to detail in the venue itself. I picked Stillwater Meadow because I wanted a mix of traditional and inviting-from the gorgeous chapel with stain glass windows to the exposed wood and twinkle lights in the reception space, Stillwater Meadow was perfect. We had 175 people at our wedding and it worked perfectly-it didnât feel too big or empty even though it could have easily held more. The amount of decorations Sharon already has was such a blessing for both my vision and my budget-I got everything I wanted and more!!! Setting up and cleaning up day of was also so easy because Sharon communicated expectations upfront and showed us where she wanted everything left. I hope you will love Stillwater Meadow just as much as we did!

Just got married two days ago, and I am still beaming with how amazing and perfect our wedding was!!!Sharon was an absolute joy to work with. I picked Stillwater because it hosts two separate buildings; the ceremony chapel has pews, stained glass windows, and an alter, and it will give your wedding a chapel-like ambiance that is so romantic and special. The reception hall is next door, and it is so rustic and elegant, with balconies to the left and right- it didnât even need decorations. Speaking of decorations, Sharon has TONS of decorations for your party to set up. She even did the decorations for us and helped with the layout. She is a godsend. I was getting anxious as the wedding got closer, and she reassured me that everyone was going to be amazingâit was beyond my wildest expeditions.Both buildings are climate controlled and enclosed, so you donât have to fret over bad weather. And brides, oh my gosh. You get a bridal HOUSE!! With bedrooms, bathrooms, amazing lighting, a mini kitchen...you will feel like youâre on vacation with your girls when you are getting ready for your big day. We were poppinâ champagne and dancing around the house like it was a girls night out! (The fellas also have their own building in the back to get ready in).Sharon was always available via text and email. She will help you out so much and make your day run as smoothly as possible. She is too selfless-little did I know that she hurt her head while setting up ice, and instead of running to the ER ASAP, she continued to set things up and made sure we were okay throughout the evening (later found out she got a concussion!!??!).I highly recommend Stillwater Meadow for your celebration. Itâs a beautiful venue and our guests canât stop raving about it. My fiancĂŠ and I will remember this night for the rest of our lives!! *note: I have read some reviews where some brides expressed issues regarding âday ofâ coordination. I did as well, but after a few emails with Sharon, everything was clarified. Sharon does SO MUCH for you on your day and is working endlessly with your family and wedding party to make your day special! As all the vendors are arriving, she is working to make sure everything runs smoothly and is set up perfectly. She is a huge resource and is available for any questions or concerns. I independently had all of my vendors set up and basically gave Sharon my timeline. She is great!!

This venue was A DREAM. Like bare bones, you could have your day and it would be absolutely stunning. Everything on the day is available to you including her HUGE storage room full of decor which absolutely comes in handy and it helpful with inspo and the bridal house which was my personal favorite so my introverted self had a little hideaway whenever I needed a break. Unfortunately, I think we caught the venue owner on a bad day because I have only heard amazing things about Sharon but, she was super MIA on our day and my family and friends had to set up everything so the \"day of\" planner that is a part of the contract wasn't really a thing for us. LUCKILY friends/family/vendors were so incredible and the day went FLAWLESSLY and the venue was again INCREDIBLE and Sharon is super nice and offers you everything she has on site. So you should ABSOLUTELY book this place, I would just recommend hiring a day of coordinator that is 100% dedicated to that job.

Everything on the day is available to you including her HUGE storage room full of decor which absolutely comes in handy and it helpful with inspo and the bridal house which was my personal favorite so my introverted self had a little hideaway whenever I needed a break. Unfortunately, I think we caught the venue owner on a bad day because I have only heard amazing things about Sharon but, she was super MIA on our day and my family and friends had to set up everything so the \"day of\" planner that is a part of the contract wasn't really a thing for us. LUCKILY friends/family/vendors were so incredible and the day went FLAWLESSLY and the venue was again INCREDIBLE and Sharon is super nice and offers you everything she has on site. So you should ABSOLUTELY book this place, I would just recommend hiring a day of coordinator that is 100% dedicated to that job.

There is a beautiful chapel for the ceremony, there is white draping, greenery, and lights that are always used in the chapel. It is so amazing - I didn't change ONE thing about it. Then the reception hall is fantastic, you can arrange the floor plan however you like. I had probably about 200 people there and we had tons of room for a good dance floor. Sharon also has an entire storage facility FULL to the brim of everything you could ever find on Pinterest for decoration. I did not buy a single thing to put towards decor. The bridal house is the perfect space to get ready and the groomsmen shack makes for some very awesome bro-pics. Sharon also is remarkably helpful and communicative. Our guests commented again and again how much they loved the venue, how beautiful it was, and how amazing was Sharon and her staff (available for hire day of). Do yourself a favor and book this place ASAP!

The venue was a dream and everything we ever wanted in a ceremony and reception hall! The wedding itself was amazing and Sharon helped us pick up everything at the end of the night. She also has a whole warehouse of decorations that can be used! I will say a few things I wish would've been better is communication between the owner and me, as the Bride and the cleanliness of the bridal house and ceremony hall. The ac was out in the bridal house and Sharon did not tell me. She did have portable ac units set up for us when we got there that helped a lot, but I would've liked to have been informed, as she knew of this during our rehearsal. This place is nothing short of AMAZING! When I got engaged earlier this year this was the only venue we visited and my hubby, now, both knew it was just right! Sharon was so amazing to work with! This was neither of ours first marriage but is our last and I wanted a fairy tale wedding and I got that at this venue! It was perfect! ALL my guests and other vendors just loved the venue! So beautiful! Thank you Sharon for the most perfect wedding and experience I could ever have had!!!

Stillwater Meadow was the most beautiful wedding venue I ever toured! It was everything I could have ever pictured to have my wedding in. Sharon was an absolute blessing to work with! She was always very responsive to my emails, always willing to meet me up at the venue (on odd days/times), and was just so down to earth and helpful!

I cannot begin to know how to thank Sharon for everything she did for us on our special day. From coordinating with vendors, to helping with decorations, to even lending me a hair dryer (my hair was too wet to style), Sharon truly went out of her way to make sure our day was the best day ever. Sharon was always super responsive and helpful whenever I needed guidance on wedding planning. She really knows the wedding industry, and it shows. Sharon is incredible to work with and there through it all. She offers multiple options for food, beverage, dj, and even dress. I was able to have a custom dress at half the cost of store bought one. Decorations are available for you to chose from which makes the process more enjoyable. Our wedding was an incredible experience all the way around.

Searching for the perfect venue can be extremely stressful! I was so relieved when I pulled up to Stillwater Meadow and saw the location and met the owner, Sharon. Everything was perfect. The adorable bridal house, to the very spacey reception hall, then the chapel that had perfect views and lighting anytime of the day; finally, the historical grooms cabin. There wasnât anything that I wouldâve done different about the location of my wedding. Sharon was so awesome helping me plan my wedding, decorating and she even ran an errand across town during my wedding so I didnât have to send a family member. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We had such a blast at our wedding and the entire experience was amazing!

She allowed us to visit the property as many times as needed, and even let the bridal portraits be taken on-site. On the day of the wedding, she was there the entire time helping all of the vendors get set up and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. We absolutely love Stillwater Meadow and so happy our wedding could take place at such a wonderful venue!
