Stone House Lavender is a family-owned farm wedding venue located in Fairmont, WV. Nestled atop a hillside on 20 acres, this bucolic estate overlooks a historic stone house, fields of lavender, a livestock pasture, and hayfields. The property is conveniently situated in West Virginia just 25 minutes from Morgantown, 45 minutes from Uniontown, and 90 minutes from Pittsburgh. This means that you will enjoy both the seclusion of a countryside setting and the convenience of nearby hotels and restaurants. A local shuttle service can even drop off your guests at their hotels after a spectacular night of dining and dancing. The farmhouse-style barn at Stone House Lavender can accommodate up to 150 people in its custom-built, climate-controlled interior. This chic white building is equipped with a stylish get-ready suite, an entertainment cave, a prep kitchen, and plenty of room for your reception. Above the festivities an elaborate crystal chandelier will glitter, while you and your guests can dance on polished hardwood floors. Barn-style doors open up to a stone patio, where you can gather for drinks with loved ones and gaze over the tranquil landscape. This patio also features a beautiful wood pergola. Here, you and your partner can exchange vows surrounded by rows of gently swaying purple lavender. Rental of Stone House Lavender comes with tables and chairs, linens, two portable bars, a kegerator, and parking. You will also receive exclusive access to the farm from Friday until Sunday. This will give you plenty of time to decorate, take photographs with the wedding party, host your rehearsal dinner, and throw a farewell brunch. The venue will also provide a list of local vendors for all your catering and event rental needs.

We just got married here last month and it’s taken me a while to write up a review because there are not enough words to describe how amazing our day was and I can’t recommend Stone House Lavender enough. 1. The location is super easy to find and very close to hotels/etc. despite it still being secluded, 2. the grounds alone were stunning and have plenty of picture perfect spots and not to mention a beautiful field of lavender right behind the arch. 3. The inside is stunning, clean, rustic yet elegant and every inch is photo ready, not only does this this venue take the cake for beauty, but they also have plenty of table settings, florals, etc up for use (which was a lifesaver) Stone House Lavender was my dream venue and I’m in love with it and forever grateful that we were able to get married here. Mitt, Mark and Cheryl;the owners, are incredible and were there to help in anyway possible the entire way through and made us feel like apart of the family from the moment we met them. If you’re on the fence about whether to chose this venue or not DO IT, you will not regret it.

Very involved and present to help with set up questions and advice. Beautiful facility. Very clear both verbal and written for rules and regulations. Gradually adding more free things for the wedding as decorations and such. Advice for set up and vendors.

The staff at the Stone Lavender House were phenomenal. The venue itself was amazing. They treated us as if we were family and we truly appreciated all of them. The day was everything that we wanted for our daughter. Couldn't have been a better day!

We could not have asked for more for our daughter’s wedding. The entire process was perfect from start to finish. I would recommend Stone House Lavender to anyone looking for event space. It is breathtakingly beautiful and the hosts truly make you feel like family.

Planning your wedding day can be the most stressful event. Mitt and her crew (family) made it a seamless day. The location was perfect for a small intimate event and even better for a large laid back reception with the option of both inside and outside layouts. You can decorate little or go all out and it is still SOOOO beautiful and simplistic which is my style. The best part of the contract is being able to use all of the decorations at no extra cost. I am excited to see this venue continue to grow and flourish.

Wow! An awesome venue for a perfect wedding day. Mit and her family made my daughter’s wedding day absolutely stress-free. SHL not only offers gorgeous scenery, but all decor is included in the fee (and they have lots to choose from). Would recommend Stone House Lavender 100%!!

Not only were they a beautiful location they went above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect. I haven’t seen another venue in this area have a whole room of decor you can use included in the price like they had. Any questions I had they answered. They were very responsive, meeting with them gave me peace of mind during a stressful time. Gorgeous venue inside and out. Great to work with for your special day!

Mit was a dream to work with! She was very thorough when going over the contracts and checklists. I knew exactly what to expect on my day. I had no worries. She also answered any questions I had quick. At the wedding, she was quick in action if we needed anything; she even moved our bar inside for us. Excellent support!
