Stoneflower Wedding and Event Venue Reviews

The gorgeous location speaks for itself, but what is not captured in the many gorgeous photos of Stoneflower are the amazing people working behind the scenes. Suzanna and CaliAnne are phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I are very adept wedding planners. We felt like we were arriving at Stoneflower with a puzzle missing a few pieces. But Suzanna put everything together into the most amazing day of our lives. I continually remarked that I felt I was showing up to my own party as a guest, not a planner. From the setup, to the sneaking me out of the house behind a sheet for the ceremony, to the takedown, Suzanna and CaliAnne ensured everything was seamless. We cannot say enough about them! I would not have changed a single thing. Reviewed on 30-06-2023
Caitlin Cromwell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2022 I cannot speak highly enough of Stoneflower. For starters - it's a spectacular property and every single corner of the place is stunning. We loved that there's a family history to the property, and we felt that Stoneflower was both gorgeous on all counts but had real ranch vibes (we didn't want something artificial or overly manicured). It was extremely convenient to have lodging for eight people on site at the venue; I can't express enough how relaxing it was for us to enjoy the river and the front porch of the house during pre- and post-wedding down time. We used the tent Stoneflower has on site for our rehearsal dinner, and then brought in our own for the wedding itself. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Suzie and Calli Anne were the most relaxed, fun, down to earth, on top of their s***, perceptive, good listeners, and hardworking team to work with. They are absolutely the unspoken and invisible best benefit of booking with Stoneflower - for the price of renting the venue, you also get two additions to your team who are willing to put in long hours, help solve problems and figure things out, contribute SO MUCH to set up and clean up (!!! not a given), and offer creative ideas without being steamrollers. I felt really listened to and collaborated with in a way that was rare and really comforting. They even helped us wade through other vendors and found us bartenders from around the area. Getting married at Stoneflower was a dream and an experience we wouldn't trade for the world - book book book!!! Reviewed on 15-09-2022
Jason Holmes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-08-2022 Suzanna and CariAnne are a one of a kind duo! They are the type of people who bend over backwards to make sure things run smoothly for you. We did our own wedding planning and they were ready always ready to help with everything during our setup, event and tear down. They did an awesome job taking care of little details here and there that contributed to a very stress free day. During the setup they caught little things that a new planner would easily overlook. They were fun to work with and talk to, providing guidance when we needed it and letting us run the show when we could. They show a compassion for you like its their first wedding, yet they operate with the professionalism as if they have been doing this a lifetime. As for the venue its just as advertised, a beautiful, distinctly Montana space; you'll understand when you see it in person! Overall just a great experience! Reviewed on 31-08-2022
Jackie Warren(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2022 This venue is operated by an amazing young lady who loves entertaining. Suzie was very patient & addressed every question and concern quickly and to our satisfaction. The venue had beautiful views at every angle on the property making it hard to choose a location for the ceremony. This is the perfect location for a destination wedding! Reviewed on 16-08-2022
Bre Toof(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2022 I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else! After searching high and low for a venue that was one affordable and two beautiful we found StoneFlower! It was by far one of the most affordable options in the area and the views were stunning but it also had a house on the property that was great for family to stay at the upcoming days! Then on top of that convenience the staff was just out of this world helpful leading up to the big day and on the big day! I can’t say enough great words about this place but just go book it because I promise you won’t regret it! Reviewed on 16-07-2022
Amanda Perry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-06-2022 10/10 recommend I booked this venue via FaceTime from TN- the pictures really don’t do it justice! Suzie and her crew are phenomenal and make you feel so welcome! We arrived the first day of the flooding and were unable to go anywhere for a few days. Suzie kept checking in and reassuring us everything would be fine! The day of our wedding they handled everything- which I was not expecting. They decorated the tables beautifully, set up and made sure everything was perfect. We cried leaving for several reasons- but mainly because it felt like we were leaving new found family. We only had 15 guests but it felt like the biggest wedding ever! Our family played board games every night we stayed at the dinner table and thoroughly enjoyed the property. I walked the dogs along the long driveway every night enjoying the views and miss that so much! If you’re on the fence about this property, just book it. You will not regret it. We held our wedding at Stoneflower in late June and could not be happier with our decision! The venue has breathtaking views and the owner, Suzie, was a DREAM to work with! She and her team went above and beyond our expectations to make our special day perfect. Every guest could not stop talking about how gorgeous the venue and scenery were and I could not have made it through the few days leading up to the wedding and day of the wedding without Suzie. She just made me feel at ease and like everything was going to be taken care of. Honestly, she's a true gem. Look no further if you want a relaxed, gorgeous, family-owned venue for your day! Thank you Suzie and team! Reviewed on 09-07-2021
Brenna Mulholland(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-07-2020 I rented Stoneflower Cottage as my wedding venue and, due to COVID-19, arrived only two days prior to my wedding site unseen. I could not have been more pleased. The property is absolutely lovely. From the MULTIPLE mountain views to the river access to the acres of golden fields surrounding the secluded property, it was more than I had hoped. Online photos certainly do not do the property justice. The cottage is much larger and spacious than I believed, as it has multiple sitting areas and bedrooms. I hosted all wedding activities on the property and had more than enough space, seating, and amenities (including the kitchen/dishes/etc) to do so. The only thing matching the beauty of this property is the hospitality. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Suzanna had thought of every detail I could have needed. I didn't have an additional wedding planner because Suzanna was so helpful throughout the process. It was great to have the owner and someone who knows the area so well help with logistics. Suzanna and her team were also very flexible and patient with my last-minute changes and 'OCD controlling bride' moments. It's such a dynamic property, I know I'll be back for an anniversary, family vacation, or any other excuse. Reviewed on 21-10-2020
Kaitlyn Flesher(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-09-2020 Stoneflower is an absolute dream! After having to scrap all of our original plans due to COVID, we decided on a destination wedding and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. The scenery is amazing, the house and venue are relaxed and comfortable, and Suzie and the rest of the crew are so kind and accommodating. We loved how peaceful and secluded the venue was to give us some space to relax ahead of the wedding while still being close enough to Livingston/Bozeman to pick up flowers, go to salons, etc. The flexibility we were allowed when it came to where we wanted to hold the ceremony and reception, as well as the ability to choose to have help with setup and tear down made our day completely stress-free and exactly what we wanted. We absolutely loved every moment of our wedding weekend at Stoneflower and would go back in an instant if we were given the chance to do it all over again! Reviewed on 19-10-2020
Leah Boehler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2020 After a lot of changes to our original wedding plans in the craziness of 2020, we ended up having our wedding at Stoneflower. I can’t imagine having found a more perfect space for us to have our day. All of our stress disappeared when we were there. The surrounding beauty is hard to explain. Suzy is wonderful to work with and answered all of our questions and had great suggestions and ideas. Although it wasn’t our original plan, because of our original guest count, I can’t imagine having done it anywhere else. It suited us perfectly. I would highly recommend. Reviewed on 13-10-2020

I’ve never been a girly girl, so when the idea of starting a wedding venue popped into my head, it surprised even me. Now, 5 years later, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I am incredibly grateful to share this beautiful property, a property that I grew up on, with my wonderful couples. A little about me…I’ve been married to the most wonderful and obnoxious man I know for 13 years, we have 2 boys, and way too many dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you, helping you create your own unique wedding vision, and bringing it to life. Cheers!
