Let Stonewall Farm host your guests at our rustic elegant timber frame building set in beautiful rolling farmland in scenic Keene, New Hampshire. Our two-story Grand Room opens out onto a beautiful patio in the warm season, while the thirty-foot fieldstone fireplace casts a romantic glow during the cold season. In the fall, the sugar maples provide a spectacular backdrop to your event. Just outside the Grand Room is our hilltop ceremony site, framed by our northern woodland forest. A short walk away is our creekside site, overlooking our fields and farm buildings. And our covered carriage house site features post and beam construction and Edison bulb lighting. We are an open vendor venue meaning we do have a preferred vendor list who work at the farm often but you are welcome to bring a caterer or vendor of your choosing. Want to extend your wedding past 10 pm? No problem, we also accommodate late-night weddings! Please contact us directly through our website or by email.

Stonewall Farm was the perfect location for our wedding. The staff there were open to creating a new ceremony location that met our exact hopes for such a location (in the woods, by the brook) and were very communicative, professional, and kind in the process. If I could go back to the planning stages, I'd 100% pick Stonewall Farm for our venue again and highly recommend it to those seeking a nature-based ceremony and warm environment for the reception afterward.

Where do I begin? This venue is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. It’s so well preserved and just so warm and special. We wanted a blank slate with character to really bring to life our dream of a “fairytale in the woods with a brothers Grimm spin” vibe at our wedding and this venue was the perfect backdrop. They do have some tables to use if you did not want to rent some (I could totally be wrong though) but we opted to rent these stunning farm tables from Elegant Settings. This venue really is a “create your own adventure” type of place so if you aren’t into the DIY of it all, this is not for you. This place was intended to be filled with creativity and imagination. My sweet Nicole, the LOVELY event coordinator for Stonewall was nothing short of exceptional. She answered all my crazy and annoying questions without skipping a beat. She made sure everything went swimmingly and beautifully. We cannot say enough amazing things about stonewall and we highly encourage you to have your special day there.

This venue was absolutely amazing! Nicole was beyond helpful, very informative! They made our wedding worth every second! Nicole is super responsive to any and all messages, any questions we had all the way up to the day of the wedding. 10/10 recommend!!

It was a great summer camp a decade ago, and those memories were the main pull for having our reception at Stonewall. Getting ahold of them in the first place was difficult, then there was high staff turnover for who the coordinator would be. Luckily, we didn't have to juggle too many vendors and had our ceremony at a church, so there wasn't too much to figure out with the farm. The tables were set up how we wanted, but the very small window for set up and takedown was difficult and very stressful for that crew. The farm itself seems to have fallen into disarray, so while the rustic, non-air-conditioned reception hall looks lovely after decoration, the rest of the farm leaves much to be desired with minimal location for photos. We had also paid for a camp circle to happen, which apparently never happened. I'm still not sure why since the bridal party was taking photos elsewhere when the circle was supposed to occur. Overall, I was happy with my wedding, but I feel I was vastly overcharged for what I received from Stonewall.

Overall, Stonewall Farm was a wonderful venue to host our 100 person wedding. Nicole was our venue coordinator and let me just say, she was absolutely amazing. We had a small amount of difficulty having interacted with four previous coordinators, but Nicole made that situation a non issue. The venue was very accommodating for some guests that could not walk a far distance, ensured our caterers could pull up as close to the venue as possible, and worked with our other vendors perfectly. Overall, the venue was beautiful for our day of and we were happy to have held our wedding there.

I want to be really honest in this review. I had my wedding at stonewall which was originally planned for November 2021. Due to COVID we ended up having to post pone our wedding. Over the course of the year and a half of working with stonewall we had five different coordinators and it was clear that there was no communication between each one and the last. There was so much difficulty with the various coordinators going over the same details multiple times. I ended up having submit paperwork multiple times because they did not keep track of anything. I was not notified when one coordinator would leave and another start. And at one point they tried scheduling a farmers market in the same area we were going to have our ceremony. The venue was beautiful and we had an excellent wedding however the difficulties we endured was inexcusable. No apology was given no responsibility taken just attitude for the coordinators and executive director.

I had to shorten this significantly. You can find a full review on the venues Facebook page.My best friend since childhood married the love of his love here yesterday. From rehearsal to cleanup I do not recommend this place.We showed up for rehearsal, and started AT the alter. Very strange. While at the alter, the bride and groom were speaking to their JP, so I asked Jennifer, the coordinator at Stonewall Farm, some questions I had. Every single question was either answered with attitude or “I’ll get to that” or “I’ll answer that later” were common responses. (Not to jump ahead, but very few questions were actually answered). We get through the alter part, and I ask her a 2nd time where we will be lined up and waiting before the ceremony. She irritatingly points. I also ask where she wants us all waiting prior to lining up because where she told us to line up-guests would see us long before. (Day of the ceremony she had us line up up the stairs and around the corner from where we were told at rehearsal). She tells us by the pack patio and points. We practice walking down the aisle, we walk back to the patio area where she told us to go, and wait for her to come answer our other questions. She never comes back.Day of the wedding, the grooms sister as well as several other close friends and family members, showed up to decorate. I was not there for this but heard it did not go well. From my understanding time was wasted trying to find Jennifer as they needed more questions answered about decorations.Cut to the actual ceremony and reception. Upon arrival, Jennifer is again MIA. We ended up figuring out on our own how to sneak the bride in without the groom or guests seeing her. We get up to the reception area and it is HOT. We noticed there is a fan in a window up top that is off, so one of the bridesmaids went searching for Jennifer to see if we could get it turned on. Jennifer was yet again rude and told her all fans were already on, to which the bridesmaid pointed to the large fan, and Jennifer turned it on.When it came time for us to start walking down for the ceremony, we were lined up on the stairs around the corner from where we were told the day before to line up. Jennifer didn’t give us a hand signal or anything to make it clear we should begin walking when it was each of our turn, as has previously been done in every other wedding I’ve been in. About an hour after the ceremony, when done with pictures, we started looking for Jennifer again to ask when we were supposed to be making our entrance into the reception. Yet again, she’s MIA. Thankfully I found the DJ who helped us all out.Cut to the “end” of the night. I was in line at the bar waiting for a drink for the bride, when I noticed Jennifer and her staff beginning to remove decorations and placing them on the table that had the gifts, cards, favors, and guestbook on it. I give the bride her drink, and let the grooms sister know this is happening, so I’m going to start bringing things to the car. I’m told they were supposed to have the venue for a while longer so no one understands why she is moving things to the guestbook table. Oh well, it’s clear they want us to start packing up. I missed the last hour of the celebration because I was busy packing things up.Basically, this venue photographs beautifully, but if you are looking for a venue with a coordinator that is cheerful, helpful, and has a passion for what they do for work-this isn’t the venue for you.

I thought a lot before I wrote this review so I hope this is taken in the light it should be - I had planned my wedding for next June, due to life circumstances, this was not going to work out financially, personally etc. I reached out to Jen in September of this year - approximately 10 months in advance of the wedding to alert her of this. I was aware of their deposit policy, so this is purely my warning to others to consider carefully before booking. It took Jen about a week to return my multiple emails, of which she told me I should hire a wedding coordinator, that might help me.I then reached out to my mom, I thought I might not be the right person to handle it. My mom had a few conversations with Jen, where we asked if she rebooked the date in June, would it be possible to have our deposit back? Knowing full well, she didn't have to return any of it. At this point, she had told us we no longer could hold a date for the amount we paid - we needed to pay more money, which I was uncomfortable with as I am not currently re-planning a wedding. Jen and her manager decided even if they rebooked my date, we couldn't have our deposit back because she had a \"fiscal responsibility to the farm\". I had EVERY intention of re-booking with Stonewall Farm and with Jen at a later date, I will absolutely not rebook or suggest this to anyone else because I feel as though (while it is their policy) if the date was rebooked, they made the same (or more) money they were making on me - why would you need to keep what I gave you too? Every other vendor returned my money 100% including the Inn that was holding the entire building for us as well as a rehearsal dinner space that was closing down their restaurant for a night AND the custom dress maker that I had ordered from. I hope this might help someone make a decision - and/or shine a light on the business as a whole.

Think twice about using this venue. It is expensive with not much to offer except the barn. There is no area for the bride and bridesmaids to dress. The acoustics are terrible because there is nothing to absorb the sound. If you are planning to decorate yourself there is small window to do it and then get ready depending on the time of day you want your wedding. If you want to decorate the day before they want a $500.00 convenience fee. Some of the guests in the balcony won't even be able to see downstairs. Keep in mind if you have older people coming to the wedding there are a lot of stairs. These are things we did not think about ahead of time. The coordinator was rude from the rehearsal to the wedding. She seemed more concerned with meeting a timeline than letting us enjoy the day. Got the feeling that once they had our money we were just a nuisance to them. They claim to do weddings on regular basis but it wasn't run as if they have a system for making sure it goes smoothly. The wedding was set up outside but it started to rain and the coordinator actually asked the bride if she wanted to chance it. When we told her no she informed us some of the guests would have to stand. So we send out some of the guests to help move chairs to another location. The caterer had to be moved also because they were set up where the wedding now needed to take place. The venue did not set up the tables in the balcony correctly. There were not enough chairs so people were complaining to the bride about the seating fiasco. I would definitely find somewhere that offers more amenities to accommodate the wedding party.

I chose this location because I wanted a rustic wedding. After my wedding happened, I wished I had picked a different location. The wedding coordinator Jennifer seems really nice and helpful in ther beginning but she is an absolute nightmare. She was so rude and unhelpful the day of the wedding that my guests were all commenting about her and her behaviors. When asked for simple things like tape. we were responded with a rude attitude asking why we needed it. She spent her time yelling at people and following them around when they were trying to decorate. She gave the DJ attitude when he asked where the photobooth goes, claiming they weren't aware we had one yet, it's right in my plans that she created. I had 2 ceremony locations planned in case it rained. When it started raining hard she gave me an attitude because I didn't want to use the outside location and get married in the rain soaking myself and my guests. She rudely informed me they my guests may have to stand because they weren't moving all the chairs. She physically grabbed and pulled my daughter into the wedding line instead of asking her to move which was horrific. She also chased my MOH yelling at her when she was trying to show her young son who to go stand with. My tables and chairs were set up wrong upstairs leaving numerous guests without a seat. Once again when brought up to Jennifer she claimed she didn't know I had that many guests yet, she made the seating chart for tables and chairs. The situations like these went on all during my wedding because of the horrible coordinator. It was extremely stressful for me, the bride, when it should have been a great day to remember. I chose this location because I wanted a rustic wedding. After my wedding happened, I wished I had picked a different location. The wedding coordinator Jennifer seems really nice and helpful in ther beginning but she is an absolute nightmare. She was so rude and unhelpful the day of the wedding that my guests were all commenting about her and her behaviors. When asked for simple things like tape. we were responded with a rude attitude asking why we needed it. She spent her time yelling at people and following them around when they were trying to decorate. She gave the DJ attitude when he asked where the photobooth goes, claiming they weren't aware we had one yet, it's right in my plans that she created. I had 2 ceremony locations planned in case it rained. When it started raining hard she gave me an attitude because I didn't want to use the outside location and get married in the rain soaking myself and my guests. She rudely informed me they my guests may have to stand because they weren't moving all the chairs. She physically grabbed and pulled my daughter into the wedding line instead of asking her to move which was horrific. She also chased my MOH yelling at her when she was trying to show her young son who to go stand with. My tables and chairs were set up wrong upstairs leaving numerous guests without a seat. Once again when brought up to Jennifer she claimed she didn't know I had that many guests yet, she made the seating chart for tables and chairs. The situations like these went on all during my wedding because of the horrible coordinator. It was extremely stressful for me, the bride, when it should have been a great day to remember. I spent more time dealing with stress due to Jennifer, than I did enjoying my wedding.

I can’t say enough good things about Stonewall Farm and Jennifer, who helped us with every detail of the wedding. We wanted a small, rustic wedding and found that at Stonewall. We had our wedding in the Carriage House and it was intimate and unique – just what we were looking for. During the ceremony, the roosters and goats even chimed in which was so cute! There were plenty of beautiful spots on their grounds to take photos. We used the mezzanine for two of our 13 tables, but found that they the guests that we put there felt a little alienated from the reception. If we had to do it again, we’d keep everyone on the first floor. Jennifer, the wedding coordinator on site was very helpful. She even had a list of local vendors that they regularly worked with, which was helpful for us since we were planning the wedding from out of state. She had some great suggestions regarding decorations, placement of tables, and timeline for the day – all of which we welcomed. We would highly recommend having your wedding or event at Stonewall Farm. It’s a beautiful venue and they are wonderful to work with.

Stonewall Farm did an amazing job hosting my wedding. Jennifer, who is the wedding coordinator was absolutely incredible. The only good thing about Stonewall is the location; it is a beautiful place!\rEverything else was a nightmare:(\rI first started my planning with Kelsey; Great...she left and Jennifer took over...from her first call she was not pleasant. Felt rushed, didn't feel important as a client.\rYou name it, it went wrong with our planning- leading up to the day and then the day of...they even went against our agreement and used our $ incorrectly. \rWe have heard from our guests (even months later) that they had interaction with Jennifer on our wedding day and it was not a good experience; she was rude to them, following them around and overall an unpleasant person to be around...\rThe people running the farm, unfortunately, are not the best people in place...I had the wedding of my dreams, but I wished the staff at Stonewall were more honorable, courteous and professional people:(\rUntil the staff changes I would have your wedding ANYWHERE else; trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of stress.....

Pros:\r-Beautiful venue, very romantic and rustic - received many compliments on this\r-Relatively affordable ($3500 for reception only, $4000 with ceremony - includes tables, chairs, linens. I absolutely loved this venue! The cost of the venue does include both the ceremony and reception site, which is nice, and it's all on the same property! All the ceremony sites are very close to the barn, so it's very reasonable for grandparents to get from the ceremony site to the reception. I knew that I wanted to get married on a farm, and if you're looking for a small, rustic, country wedding, this is the place for you! \r\rThey have a beautifully re-purposed barn which we chose to use for our recpetion, and several indoor/outdoor ceremony options (we chose the garden!). It also includes chairs for the ceremony, tables and chairs for the reception as well as linens and you get to choose table cloth and napkin colors. \r\rThis is a working, educational farm, so they have livestock, trails, farm equipment and gardens. I loved that our ceremony site had the big red barn and old farm house in the background. Kelsey was a joy to work with and made planning from a distance very seamless. \r\rThey do have a bar option as well which includes either a cash bar (Which we did and it cost $25/hour), drink tokens ($5/token) and an open bar (I forget how much this was). We chose to use the outside bar, but you can also choose the indoor bar if you wish. Having the outdoor bar worked out great because they set up cocktail tables outside on the patio as well as the guest book table/gift table and made for a nice flow into the reception hall. Also, it was a lot easier on the grand parents because family members were able to drive them right up to the cocktail area and they could go right into the reception hall instead of going up 2 flights of stairs in the silo. \r\rI'm pretty sure most of my in-law family was sceptical of us having a wedding on a farm, but at the reception, everyone was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful everything was and all of my guests had nothing but wonderful things to say. \r\rI will say, we had a small wedding (60 people including us and the wedding party/spouses), so if you're planning on more than 100 people, the dance floor will be really tight. \r\rIf I had to get married all over again, I wouldn't have changed a thing!!

My husband and I chose Stonewall Farm after only looking at one other location--we simply fell in love with the gorgeous space. I found the price to be a good value--we were guaranteed that our event would be the only one on property on the day of our wedding, and we had full use of the facilities and grounds. We were also given the opportunity to set up the night before the wedding, which was a huge help. \r\rWhen it came down to a week before the wedding, with rain in the forecast, our venue coordinator, Kelsey, was very accommodating in suggesting alternatives for our ceremony and cocktail hour. During the rehearsal she was a great help in making sure everything ran smoothly, which was appreciated. \r\rI only had two negative experiences. The first was in the months leading up to the wedding, when I found it very hard to get in touch with Kelsey--I would email and call and never hear back, which, for a bride, is stressful. However, when it was crunch time, she was there to answer any questions which, really, was all I needed. Second, we hosted beer and wine and offered a cash bar for our guests--my only request was that a common whiskey be offered, as it's all my Dad drinks. It wasn't available at the bar on the day of the wedding and when he offered to go buy a bottle, give it to the bartender and then still pay for the drinks, they refused. It was an off-putting moment in an otherwise great reception. I understand that there are strict liquor laws, but it was something we requested in advance and was told wouldn't be a problem, \r\rOverall, our wedding day was beautiful, and that overshadows any small issues we had leading up to it. If you're looking for a rustic, DIY-friendly venue then Stonewall Farm is perfect for you.

I reserved my wedding over a year in advance. I loved the spot, the venue was perferct for our wedding, decent size (only can hold around 100 people down stairs) My guests loved it there, plus they were able to explore the farm before the wedding. The only downside would be the numerous people I had to deal with for the wedding. OVer the over the 20 months that I had the venue reserved I delt with 4 different people. It was very confusing and stressful. I hope for future that they have someone more permanent. I did just find out that they now have another person in this role.

Overall my experience was amazing! The only thing is they were in a transition period of staff and I felt as though it was a little disorganized and lack of communication. Although nothing went array it was still a bit frustrating. Overall it is an amazing location and it was beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and the day was perfect!

The farm is gorgeous, and our guests loved being able to take walks around the farm. However, they were in the process of changing prices and packages after we booked and it was a fight to get everything that was originally included in our package. They also went through not one, not two, but THREE wedding coordinators in less than a year. This made everything more confusing since there was no notes left from one to the next regarding what had been promised to us (and none had made notes on our invoices). Thankfully we had saved all emails from them. It may get better if the current coordinator stays there.

I love, love, love Stonewall Farm. It's a hidden gem in the small town of Keene NH. If you love rustic charm, you need to visit Stonewall Farm! It's inexpensive and you are able to rent the entire facility for the day of your event. The staff are great and willing to answer any/all of your questions.

We used Stonewall Farm for our venue this summer and couldn't have been happier. The setting was truly unique with real llamas and sheep just near the parking area - they were a huge hit with our guests. But they weren't what sold us on the location. We were able to enjoy the natural beauty and get married outside, without having to book a tent and other rentals for the reception. The main reception room is really beautiful and also provided an option in case of rain, which luckily stayed away.

Ryan Clancy (Events Director) Hi! Clancy here, I am and have always been passionate and committed to helping people.
