Stoney Ridge Villa is a unique Mediterranean-Hacienda-Spanish Mansion style wedding venue located just 25 minutes west of Fort Worth in the beautiful hill country of Azle, TX. Some call us the "castle on the hill" , "Italian Villa" "hacienda mansion" or the "hidden gem". Others say our venue looks like you are in another country; "a destination wedding venue". Ideal for indoor/outdoor wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, the Villa features several locations for you to choose from. would love to start off by saying how amazing Missy and her husband are as individuals. This was the first venue I toured and I immediately fell I love with the venue Spanish villa vibes . There is so many beautiful locations starting with the giant door, the interior of the main house is gorgeous and has plenty of room for the bride and grooms party to get ready ,Their is a gorgeous balcony or courtyard to get married at , but the balcony is so beautiful because of the staircase with a secret entrance for the bride to go up . The roof top also is another fantastic feature of the venue especially at night sunset , and letâs not forget the gorgeous side house where everyone dined and danced with the immaculate mural on the ceiling and their new outdoor fire place for guests to mingle. There is just so many beautiful locations itâs hard to put them all in a review you have to do a tour for yourself and seriously you need like a 2 day wedding to get photos in every location . So not only is the venue stunning but Missy and her husband and family is a stellar team they shuttle your guests up to the top so none have to make a trek up the hill , Missy her self is available 24/7 forPhone calls she answered my questions in regards to a slide show , and had plenty of easels for my bridal and engagement portraits , she also assisted in being the day of coordinator she goes above and beyond to make sure her bride is happy. There was in incident with my cake vendor delivering a blue cake and she offered to go find a white one which I told her it was fine but she was still so kind in helping me out and calming my nerves. She also opened up her venue for me to do my engagement photos and my bridals was there every step of the way . Other amenities she offered was a beautiful sparkler exit for my guests and help light up our exit into a special moment . Everything about the venue and service was great would definitely renew vows here in the future .

Our wedding couldnât have been more perfect! Missy was so so wonderful, she went above and beyond to help and was there for us every step of the way on our wedding day! Stoney Ridge Villa is such a dream venue!! Missy is so easy and wonderful to work with! She thinks of everything and is super responsive and always happy to happy however she can. They run the venue really well - plenty of parking for guests, one of the only venues we looked at with ice onsite (who knew that'd be so rare), little things thought of like multiple steamers in the bridal suite (which is huge and has fantastic lighting for makeup), handle security for you, and have an open vendor policy (except bartenders - the company they required was great though). Just about every guest made a comment to me about how beautiful our wedding venue was. There are so many different backdrops for photos too, which is great. And the tile wall of all the couples married there is such a great idea - you become part of the venue and family. Would absolutely recommend, you won't be let down!

We held our wedding at Stoney Ridge Villa in October 2023 and I'm so glad I chose this location!PROS:- The owner, Missy is friendly, helpful, very responsive to emails, and has great energy. Throughout the entire process, I felt like she really wanted make sure that our day was special. - The venue is absolutely gorgeous. This fit our hacienda vibe and our guests were so impressed!CONS (I really wanted to leave the full 5 stars but there's one thing to note)- On the wedding evening, a bridesmaid had an expensive bottle of champagne missing from the bridal suite. We were ensured that the suite would be locked since we had purses, keys, all belongings there. When asked at the end of the night, Missy informed me that the contract stated security would confiscate all alcohol left in the suite. I did read the contract (in addition to a million other ones leading up to the wedding) so I wish that was reminded to myself & the bridal party on the day of. The champagne wasn't seen again so all we know is that security took it. I felt terrible having to explain this to a bridesmaid considering that we were told everything would be locked away. If belonging's are going to be taken, this is something that should be over-communicated to those in the bridal suite, not just the bride. On the big day, there's just no way I can remind every person about every single detail written in the contract.

Stoney Ridge Villa is the perfect place to have a wedding. We booked over a year in advance and the moment we stepped foot on site and met Missy, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. Missy is extremely communicative and thorough, as well as one of the nicest, most caring individuals I have ever met. She assisted in ensuring our wedding day and all planning up to it was executed seamlessly. If you are even remotely on the fence of booking here or not, just do it! Plus, the views and pictures, BREATHTAKING. All of our guests were blown away by how gorgeous the venue is.

There are truly no words that can express my love for Stoney Ridge Villa or Missy. Missy was nothing but incredible the whole 11 months we spent planning. I would text her random questions and she would always reply in a timely manner and would always give me advice if I needed it. She was just genuinely incredibly easy to work with the entire process. Lets talk about wedding day.. Missy was AMAZING. We arrived on wedding day with tables and chairs already set up. Cross for the ceremony, already set up. Missy helped in more ways than I could've asked on wedding day. I know people don't always read long reviews so I will keep it short and say if you are considering SRV, do it. It will be the wedding of your dreams, with the most amazing, genuine, kind, selfless owners you have ever met. If I could go back in time I would choose SRV every single time.

Our wedding was more than I could have imagined and a big part of that was thanks to Stoney Ridge and the owner/coordinators Missy! This place was absolutely stunning and with a price point that is very competitive in comparison to other venues that donât even come close to the amenities that Stoney Ridge had. It felt like you were in a destination wedding in Europe somewhere when on the rooftop with the rustic and elegant architecture. Then , in plaza area you felt like you were in a Mexican hacienda with all the stone , arches , and greenery! We didnât need a ton of decor outside because truly the location itself was the perfect place for stunning pictures and entertainment. The owner takes care of making sure things run smoothly and is on top of it all ! She was like a coordinator when we didnât have one! You can tell this is her passion and she absolutely loves what she does! Everyone raved about how stunning this place was and we couldnât be happier this was our wedding venue!

Absolutely LOVED not only this venue, but also the venue owner, Missy! The venue itself is beautiful, unique, and gives a very spaniard vibe. Very different than the typical farm/barn wedding venues I found in the DFW area, which is just what we were looking for. It is perfect for holding your whole event from getting ready, to ceremony, to cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. No need to rent out multiple locations, plus with these views, you wouldn't want to. I loved how within one venue, it felt like multiple. The white balcony gives a luxurious clean vibe, which is where we had our ceremony. The courtyard gave spaniard vibes with the large round columns and hanging white backyard lights which was perfect for hanging out and cocktail hour. The reception hall has a stunning mural on the ceiling and was the perfect spot for food, dancing, and photo booth! However, everyone mix and matches where they do these events at the venue, which is the great part, you canât go wrong! Side note: the venue is animal friendly! Our dog was the best man and we had beer donkeys for our event. Besides the venue being amazing, spacious, and eye catching, our wedding day would not have been possible without the venue owner, Missy. She truly cares about her clients and their families. She is a fresh breathe of air and will be there to help you as much or as little as you possibly need. Although I didn't have a wedding planner, Missy 100% helped ensure the day went off without a hitch! She is a compassionate, loving, and a genuine person. It was a blessing getting to meet her and become her friend through the process. My guests could not stop raving about the location and it was amazing seeing them all dressed up going all around the venue taking photos with their friends and family! Definitely book your tour OR DATE now! :)

If youâre reading reviews to figure out if you should book this venue, I am telling you to BOOK THIS VENUE! I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Stoney Ridge Villa and their team! I recently got married here July 3rd 2022. I found this venue by working here a few times and I absolutely fell in love with it! It was the first on my list and I was so so so happy that they had a date available. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and SO spacious! I loved how there are different areas where you can have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and you didnât feel so crammed in 1 space. I really loved how everything was separated! The bridal suite was huge and SO cute! It was perfect for getting all 8 of my bridesmaids, myself, and our mothers ready! We originally wanted to do a destination wedding, however with family members not being able to attend we decided to get married here instead. The venue has a European style to it so it made us feel like we were in a different country! I had so many people ask me if we got married in Italy or Spain because of how GORGEOUS the venue is!! It was breathtaking! It had everything I wanted from the white balcony, to the square, and the hall.. literally PERFECT! My day went so smooth because of my day of coordinator, Missy and Chantel! They were literally the dream team! They took care of everything and made sure we had down every detail down to and truly helped make the day absolutely perfect and run so smoothly. By the end she felt like family, and it is very obvious that she cares so much about each one of her couples and their families! Missy was so helpful through the entire wedding process with her quick communication, support, and advice for our big day. She cares so much for her brides and it shows!! We got married here in March of 2023. I can only say positive things about Stoney Ridge Villa. Missy is the owner of the venue and she and her husband do a fantastic job making you feel warm and comfortable. I called and texted Missy no less than 30 times from day of booking the venue to my wedding day and every single time she was happy to help answer my questions. The biggest piece of advice I can give to folks looking for a venue is that the good vendors you surround yourself with are the biggest factors for mitigating stress. We not only used Missy but many of Missy's recommendations for vendors which made life easier as well.Finally, the photos speak for themselves - this venue is gorgeous and absolutely unique. No other venue in DFW will give you photos like this.I highly, highly recommend Stoney Ridge Villa as the place for your wedding. We got married here in March of 2023. I can only say positive things about Stoney Ridge Villa. Missy is the owner of the venue and she and her husband do a fantastic job making you feel warm and comfortable. I called and texted Missy no less than 30 times from day of booking the venue to my wedding day and every single time she was happy to help answer my questions. The biggest piece of advice I can give to folks looking for a venue is that the good vendors you surround yourself with are the biggest factors for mitigating stress. We not only used Missy but many of Missy's recommendations for vendors which made life easier as well.Finally, the photos speak for themselves - this venue is gorgeous and absolutely unique. No other venue in DFW will give you photos like this.I highly, highly recommend Stoney Ridge Villa as the place for your wedding. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here and, as you can see, many others corroborate what I am saying.

Where do I begin? Stoney Ridge Villa was a dream come true!! This beautiful villa was an escape within the United States - many areas in the villa with a different feel that reminded me of Greece, France and Italy. We wanted to do a destination wedding to Greece but with Covid we were not able to. I looked everywhere online for 6 months within the US for a place with a mediterranean feel. This felt place felt just like that! Missy and Dave the owners made the experience so wonderful! Missy was so kind and helpful. She made me feel so welcomed and loved!! Just her personality and smile made the Villa even better. It was like she was family and I knew her all my life. She is so funny and one of a kind!!! They let us use some of their own decor and helped set it up. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous as well! Great lighting, space, chairs and a nice suite. This venue offers so many options to hold the ceremony for what you are looking for. They also have different areas for the reception too! Everyone who saw our pictures thought we had a destination wedding in a different country. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are thinking about it! They hold open houses working with different vendors to help with your wedding process. Missy also has alot of contacts with the vendors as well for anything you might be looking for. Stoney Ridge Villa is the most beautiful venue you will ever see! MUST SEE IN PERSON! Itâs even more gorgeous in person than the photos! Missy is truly a amazing human and we were so incredibly grateful to have had our wedding experience with her and Stoney Ridge! My husband and I were living out of state but engaged in Fort Worth. Knowing we were flying back home shortly after, I emailed very late on a Saturday about possibly seeing the venue before we left town and she surprisingly emailed me back that night saying she could let us come by that next evening to view the venue. We toured the venue for almost 3 hours! Missy is a gem! Any and every possible question we had, she happily answered for us! She gave us opinions on different options we could do and was incredibly helpful with picturing the overall wedding day look. Fast forward to wedding day and everything was beautiful and perfect! We could not have pictured a better venue and owners to work with! Missy is very professional, checks in often with you, and is incredibly fast at responding to your emails! She always has an answer to any question you may have and if she happens to not know she will find it out for you! You will not go wrong with Stoney Ridge! We had the best wedding day!

Stoney Ridge Villa was the BEST decision I made for my wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning with three beautiful spaces to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and afterparty. I always envisioned my wedding ceremony on a romantic villa balcony and Stoney Ridge completely delivered-- this venue makes you feel like you're in Europe. The reception hall was huge, so regal and kept us from the elements during our dinner. The courtyard was steps away from the ceremony and the most stunning outdoor space for cocktail hour and afterparty. One of the best things about this venue is that literally every corner is picture-perfect and will wow your guests. We got so many compliments from all around and I can guarantee you everyone will remember your wedding.They also have an open vendor policy (except for bartending) and allowed us to bring-your-own-alcohol which helped save us so much money. It also made it so much easier for planning and selecting vendors we loved and splurge on the things we wanted.Lastly, Missy and her husband, the owners and operators, are the kindest couple who really care about your special day. They really went out of their way to help us with everything and Missy always responded to all my emails so quickly. They truly treat every couple like their own family and really care more about you having the best event rather than just serving a client. I can't say enough kind things about this venue and its owner, Missy. First off, we knew this venue was probably *the one* well over a year ago when we first got engaged. In the pictures it was absolutely beautiful. It absolutely lived up to the hype - it has both indoor and outdoor areas (uses of any area are included in her pricing), an incredible bridal suite, and from the moment we met Missy we knew she'd give us incredible service.Throughout the wedding planning process (which lasted for more than a year) Missy was always responsive to all our questions. She made everything easy for us. It was also a huge perk that the venue included table / chairs setup in their pricing, and they even include the linens for side tables (e.g. cocktail tables, buffet tables, etc) so we only had to get linens for the main dining tables.We'd envisioned an entirely outdoor wedding, and for the start of May our main concern was rain! It ended up that the heat would be our enemy - the forecasts were calling for 95+ degree weather. Missy sent me a nice email to allow me to consider some indoor options for parts of the reception without completely flipping our vision upside-down. She suggested still holding the ceremony on their white patio since it'd be shaded at that time of day, then flipping the dinner portion indoors, and holding desserts + dancing outside after the sun set. She made me feel very comfortable with this plan - it also allowed our guests to enjoy a beautiful sunset off one of their patios! Best yet, even with all these last-minute changes, Missy was EXTREMELY accommodating and didn't charge us extra fees. She even kindly offered that we could use some of her in-house linens for the outdoor dessert tables at no charge. This was by far one of the best-priced venues in the area. It books out quickly, and I can see why. Outstanding service, beautiful venue, and great price. I wish I could get married again just to be able to work with Missy and be in this amazing venue again! THANK YOU MISSY!!!!!

They deserve all the stars! This was by far more than I ever imagined for my wedding day! Great people to work with & they are so friendly that you feel like you have know them forever! Our guest are still talking about how gorgeous this place was!

The first time we went to Stoney Ridge Villa to get a tour we saw it sitting up on the hill as we drove up and knew there and then it was our place. Then we got inside and besides how beautiful and well decorated it is we met Missy. It was instant chemistry and it never faltered. She took us on a tour of the place showing us all the good photo spots, telling us all the different ways people utilize the space, and being genuinely happy and excited to be our venue for our wedding. Nothing she ever said or did felt like a line or forced and for the entire year from when we booked to our wedding date she kept up with us. Checking in, making recommendations if we asked, happily telling us dimensions of areas, tables, etc. They recommended the vendor that we used for fireworks(a professional outfit that got the permits, had the fire marshal approval, even having a firetruck on property to be extra safe). Also as we didnât want cake and needed dessert, they introduced us to an actual ice cream truck that came for 2 hours. Spongebobs, bomb pops, all the good ice cream truck stuff! It was perfect and we only knew because Missy was there for us the whole time. They set up the tables for the reception according to our layout and even offered some helpful suggestions on that too. Every guest was shuttled from the ample parking right to the stairs for the ceremony, or if mobility issues were present to an area with no stairs close to the ceremony area as well. Missy was present the entire night and worked tirelessly with our co-ordinator to make sure everything went without a hitch. We were concerned when reaching out to people that the fact that our wedding was for two men might be a problem. With Stoney Ridge it wasnât even questioned or side eyed once. They were welcoming and lovely to us from start to finish. Missy even got upset when we mentioned it was something we were concerned with, because she believes celebrating love is ALWAYS a good thing! Something well worth keeping in mind for anyone doing an LGBT eventI canât say enough about how perfect the entire experience with Stoney Ridge and Missy were! The only downside to it all is that, well, we probably wonât have another wedding and wonât be able to use them again and again!

It only took one visit and one conversation with Missy to book our date at Stoney Ridge Villa and know that it was going to be absolute magic. The venue itself is utterly gorgeous and has multiple spaces for your day. The rooftop views are unbeatable, the outdoor courtyard is PERFECT for dancing and drinking, and the indoor reception hall is beautiful with a hand painted ceiling that is breathtaking. This doesnât even include the indoor space that is an actual house and has so much space that you could get lost. Pictures do not do this venue justice, but it definitely gives you a good idea of the space. Besides the venue being amazing, I cannot say enough great things about the owners. From the moment we met Missy, we knew that we were going to be taken care of. We immediately made a connection with her and throughout the tour she genuinely wanted to get to know us. She was honest, laid everything out for us, and answered every question directly. We booked our date 2 years out, and she kept in touch the entire time.Missy bent over backwards to make sure our day was perfect and when we had issues with a vendor she went above and beyond to help us out when she was not obligated to. If it hadnât been for her, our whole wedding day would have been a disaster. Missy and her husband Dave are in this business because they love it and want people to have the best wedding day, and it definitely shows. They made our day magical and I could not be more thankful!

This venue is absolutely and completely stunning. Missy is an extremely accommodating venue coordinator especially during the time of Covid.Our wedding was in August! The ceremony was on the balcony in the shade which was so nice and the reception dinner was indoors. Missy told us they have hospital grade air filters in the reception hall so we felt comfortable having the dinner inside for everyone to cool off. Out of 187 of our guests no one got Covid. We consider that a win. The dancing on the courtyard at night was absolutely perfect! The open vendor policy is unmatched for this gorgeous of a venue. It ended up saving us so much money so we were very thankful. The only semi-cons I would give this venue is the limited time to set up and tear down. They will charge you more if you go over, but you can buy more time ahead of time, which is what we did. I highly recommend doing that. They will also charge for any use of there arbors, flower ring, etc. so just be aware. Otherwise this was the most stunning venue I could ask for! Our pictures are STUNNING and our guests really had the most wonderful time. You will love Missy and her team. She will make sure your wedding goes without a hitch.

You will not find a better venue,owner, or experience. Period. The Stoney Ridge staff truly go above and beyond for their couples getting married at their venue.Iâve been photographing weddings for 11 years ,and nothing that compares to Stoney Ridge. I love how large the property is. You can photograph any time of day! The bridal and grooms suite both have an exterior door where you can pop out for beautiful photos with bridesmaids/groomsmen. This is helpful to keep the bride and groom separate until the ceremony or first look. Youâll be thankful for this quick photo op on your wedding dayâŠespecially in the Texas Heat! They have multiple ceremony options that are all stunning. After the ceremony the rooftop photos are unbelievable! You can see downtown Fort Worth from the roof! You will not find a better venue,owner, or experience. Period. The Stoney Ridge staff truly go above and beyond for their couples getting married at their venue.Iâve been photographing weddings for 11 years ,and nothing that compares to Stoney Ridge. I love how large the property is. You can photograph any time of day! The bridal and grooms suite both have an exterior door where you can pop out for beautiful photos with bridesmaids/groomsmen. This is helpful to keep the bride and groom separate until the ceremony or first look. Youâll be thankful for this quick photo op on your wedding dayâŠespecially in the Texas Heat! They have multiple ceremony options that are all stunning. After the ceremony the rooftop photos are unbelievable! You can see downtown Fort Worth from the roof! Pictures donât do this place justice! You HAVE to schedule a tour and book! My guests were absolutely FLOORED with how beautiful the venue is and kept complimenting on how everything was set up. Plus, it has everything you need! Looking for a venue with open vendors? Check. A spacious bride and groom suite? Check. A large prep kitchens for your caterer? Check. Ice machine? Check. Firework options? Check! Indoor and outdoor options with picturesque views? TRIPLE CHECK! Second-Missy, the owner is everything. They think of everything we might need and hussle to help make sure that everything was perfect for my special day! Even when they didn't have too. And don't get me started on the actual venue!! We loved it the moment we stepped in it! It transports you to a beautiful international evening right in the middle of Azle, TX! Every place you walk to is so romantic and I haven't seen any other venue like it. It is a must have venue that all the guests will talk about! One of the best things is you don't need a lot to decorate this place. It is beautiful all on its own. Thank you Stoney Ridge for being the perfect venue partner to work with. I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else!! Will recommend it until My husband and I are celebrating 100 years of marriage!

She also has random wedding things I was able to use, did the basic setup/tear down of tables & chairs, and had the Bridal Fair where I met 2 of my vendors. Thankful for her!-The actual buildings themselves are just gorgeous. Indoor/outdoor. Many, many places for pictures and your events. I had my bridals taken here as well, and it was a blast! She also has an easily workable rainy day plan. We didnât have to use it, she just checked in with me on my preference and acted accordingly. -Itâs open vendor so you can build your event from scratch. Whatâs great is they have chairs, tables, and tablecloths for the vendors so you have that base to start out with. Simplified the process immensely.-When you book your day, itâs Yourâs. This was a big thing for me, no shared spaces.

This also made for so many fabulous photo ops - including the roof!This was the first venue I walked and decided on this location (without looking at any others!) because of the gorgeous dining hall, the beautiful courtyard and exterior areas, the luxurious bridal suite, the breathtaking views during sunset, and all the amazing details in the building itself. Whatever style you pick for your wedding or event, Stoney Ridge has something for you!The owner, Missy, was immediately very welcoming and friendly. She was so easy to work with and honestly, being my first wedding, made planning and executing that much easier. She is such a joy and you can tell that she really gives your occasion her all. She was readily available for any question I had, and there were several times when I reached out via email very late at night not expecting to hear back from her until the next day and she answered that night!! She overshot all expectations and I canât thank her enough for all of her help. She is so amazing at what she does.

My FiancĂ©e and I were looking for a unique and beautiful venue and we certainly found it at Stoney Ridge Villas! This venue is beautiful, classy, and picturesque with a European flair. When you have your wedding here, you arenât just a client to these owners either. You are part of a family. And on your wedding day, they are there to help with anything you need. We couldnât have found a better place to celebrate the most important day of our lives.

Stoney Ridge Villa is AMAZING! I shot my bridals pictures here and I cannot rave enough. The scenery is impeccable! I felt as if I was somewhere in the Mediterranean! From multiple window shots, to beautiful stair shots, to rustic door shots, we were able to capture them all! I love, love, love all the character and culture the venue has to really make not only great photos, but also a great place to have your wedding (or any other event)!! Not only was the venue absolutely stunning, the best part is, the owners are the absolute best! Missy and Dave went out of their way for me, my party and the photographer when I did my bridals and even on the day of my wedding which was located at another venue!

Many of our guests commented that the hilltop scenery and villa make you feel as if youâve escaped to a Mediterranean city. There are many options for beautiful outdoor photos so make sure you schedule enough time with your photographer :) Lastly, the open vendor policy really allows you to customize every aspect of your event to fit your style and budget. From start to finish, we had an awesome experience with Stoney Ridge and would highly recommend it to someone looking for a unique and affordable space. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks and Missyâs hospitality helped make it possible. She went out of her way to make sure all of our questions were answered and provided us with AMAZING recommendations from people she trusts and know provide quality service. Missy and her husband genuinely want you to have an unforgettable experience and really know how to run a wedding day. Missy and Dave literally were the glue that made sure our day went off without a hitch. Missy lives up to the goal that she sets out for herself 100% when you become one of her couples. Her only concern is that you are happy and taken care of and my wife and I can wholeheartedly say that she took care of us throughout the nightmare of a COVID wedding. We were one of the very first couples to book at Stoney Ridge Villa, before the reception hall was completed and you will not be disappointed! The main villa, outdoor areas, and the hall all come together to create a truly magical experience that transports you to a world that you cannot believe is just outside of DFW. If you have the opportunity or are just a little curious, take a look because the photos and videos do not do justice to the magnificence that you experience being at the villa.

She checked in with us from time to time leading up to the wedding and gave us ideas on how/where to have different layouts for each âsegmentâ of our wedding. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful, from the architecture to the vines growing all over the Villa, and is big enough to offer a plethora of options on what backdrop youâd like the ceremony to have as well as pictures. The Mediterranean style of the venue was exactly what we were looking for and was so unique from all the other venues we looked at, that it literally had us both say âwowâ as soon as we opened the front door. We planned on having around 125 people but due to covid, only about 80 ended up showing, but even if 125 did show, there wouldâve been plenty of room. We couldnât have asked for a more beautiful venue and more pleasant owner in Missy to work with!

You cannot go wrong with booking Stoney Ridge Villa for your wedding day. The venue offers a luxurious experience with plenty of room to enjoy! Being a bride in 2020 was very challenging, but luckily Missy, helped make our special day go perfect! After our wedding plans for a destination wedding were cancelled twice because of Covid, we booked Stoney Ridge for a third attempt at planning a special day for us. Having already felt defeated before beginning the planning process for our third try, Missy's consistent positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and encouragement helped us get through a very stressful time in the planning process. She personally helped make me feel excited to be a bride again. Words can't express the gratitude I feel for having selected and worked with Stoney Ridge Villa for our wedding day! They truly go above and beyond to make your day perfect! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and the bridal suite is the coolest set up I've ever seen!!!! Highly recommend! :)

This venue is BEAUTIFUL. If youâre like me and rustic is just not your thing, check out Stoney Ridge Villa! We did not feel like we were in Texas with the Mediterranean vibes; however, the surrounding views from the venue are reminiscent of Hill Country. I also didnât want to have to spend a ton of money on dĂ©cor. Firstly, Stoney Ridge has so much to look at in its architecture, that there wasnât a need for dĂ©cor outside of centerpieces. Secondly, they have dĂ©cor available for use and to rent! Lastly, they let you take pictures on the freakinâ roof! How cool is that? Missy (the venue owner) is one of the most hard-working people I have ever met. She runs around the day of your wedding to make sure your floor plans are exactly how they are supposed to be and that the venue is in pristine condition. She somehow manages to change outfits from running around in workout gear to a dress before your guests arrive. She is actual magic. She and her husband are there all day the day of your wedding for any venue-related items you need assistance with. I live in Prosper and this venue is located in Azle â Itâs about 1-1.5 hour drive and $8 in tolls there and back that were 100% worth it. They have this cute wall of tiles for those who have had their wedding there with their names and their wedding date. I love the venue and I love the owners.

We could not have gotten more lucky with such a down to earth, honest, and caring person! Each wedding here has an opportunity to be so unique and everything the couple wants and Missy has a million and one ideas. Our first date was pushed due to covid and I almost couldnât even bare to call Missy and tell her. But after she let me cry it out, she worked to keep my new wedding date everything we still wanted for that day. If you want a venue that makes you feel like your overseas in another country, if you want a venue owner who will work with you and not boss you around but still be honest with you, if you want gorgeous photo opportunities, book this venue. My husband and I will forever be grateful for Missy and her husband and everything they did for us. She truly is an amazing lady and our wedding was beautiful and an absolute blast. Missy is fantastic and just the sweetest person, she went above and beyond to make our wedding special! Stoney Ridge Villa was our dream destination wedding and the venue we were looking for all along! It had everything we wanted and more! Stoney Ridge Villa is just absolutely stunning and the owners are so amazing. I LOVE the views from the venue, it is so unique and nothing like I've seen before! It honestly feels like you are on a beautiful Mediterranean Vacation! Thank you so much for making our wedding day as special as it was and for commemorating our wedding with an adorable tile with our new names on it! Stoney Ridge was an awesome place for my daughterâs wedding! Missy and Dave are wonderful to work with, and handled working around the pandemic with us at every turn. The venue is gorgeous and flows seamlessly from the terrace to the courtyard to the reception hall. The whole day went off without a hitch! Our guests raved about the location up on the hill and how pretty it is. I would highly recommend Stoney Ridge!

Our wedding at Stoney Ridge was absolutely perfect! My fiance and I fell in love with the venue before we had even set foot on the property. It is the most gorgeous place! Located on the top of a hill in the middle of the country in Parker County, it is stunning with views of the countryside around you and and a spectacular view of downtown Fort Worth! Aside from being incredibly beautiful, you won't find a better person to help you with your special day than Missy! She was just the best to work with. I didn't worry about a single detail at the venue because from day one I just knew Missy was on top of things. Everything on our wedding day went off just perfectly and all of our guests raved about Stoney Ridge! No doubt about it, Stoney Ridge is the best place in North Texas to have your wedding! PROS: - Insanely stunning views all around the venue- Private- Affordable- Open vendor policyCONS: - Far from Dallas - Good, clean hotels in the vicinity are very limited. We only found one that met our needs. The rest are outdated, poor service, and smell funny. I feel like the location really made our wedding spectacular. We wanted to pick a place that was not rustic and barn-looking, nor did we want to deal with all of the irritating stipulations and minimums of any venue under vendor exclusivity (the most prominent ones being CN Catering - Howell and Dragon, The Windsor, etc.. and then also Walters Wedding Estates - Aristide, The Olana, etc.) We also didn't want to have a bare bones venue that would require a lot of decorating. After visiting 10 other venues, we settled on Stoney Ridge, despite it being all the way out in Azle. In a way, this is part of the charm. It feels like a destination wedding because it is located in such a remote area. Every single one of our guests, and even photographers, were blown away by the venue. When we drove up the winding driveway for the first time, we were already sold.I was initially concerned about the location being \"less pretty\" because it was on 02.01.20. Boy was I wrong. Even in the middle of winter, this venue is still gorgeous. The weather was perfect. We had our ceremony on the balcony, cocktail hour in the courtyard, and our reception in the hall. Our guests were able to enjoy just about every view at Stoney Ridge Villa. The bridal suite is such a spacious and comfortable place to get ready. My ladies and I had so much fun getting pretty together. Missy and Dave were accomodating and responsive. They were so on top of everything, and did whatever they could to make sure the night went smoothly. Missy is just sunshine, I adore her, and she is such a hard worker. Dave is a little bit more serious, but it is very clear how passionate he is about ensuring the best experience for the bride and groom. Another reason why I was so enthusiastic about going with Stoney Ridge is that it is directly supporting a small business, instead of one of these big conglomerate companies in which you are just another number. I am so happy with our decision to go with Missy and Dave at Stoney Ridge Villa. Missy and Dave, thank you so much for everything. Both of you were key pieces to make the wedding of our dreams happen.

Missy and Dave Parrish (Owner) Thank you for your interest in our venue. I am a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, a wife of 25 years, and a mom of three young men. My husband and I made the decision to open a wedding venue as we have always had a passion to bring families and friends together. Texas and its families have become our new home since moving away from ours for the military years ago. Bringing families together through weddings and events is so rewarding to us both. Our venue offers the warmth from our hearts, the uniqueness of its architecture, the beauty of its stunning hilltop views, and many options for our couples.
