With a history dating back to the early 20th century, Story Hill Firehouse is filled with warmth & character. From its gorgeous outdoor green spaces to its experienced & passionate event staff, Story Hill Firehouse could be the perfect place to host your wedding day celebration. Facility and Capacity The historic bungalow-style firehouse can accommodate up to 150 of your friends and family. When you rent the firehouse, you’ll be given exclusive access to the entire "one of a kind" venue, from the lush outdoor space to the firehouse itself. Services Offered The Story Hill Firehouse staff will go above and beyond to provide your big day with everything you’ll need to realize your wedding dreams. Couples can rest easy knowing that they won’t have to worry about renting folding chairs or dining tables from a third-party vendor, as they’ll find them at this historic firehouse. The Story Hill Firehouse also offers a custom-built bar and bartending services that are bound to satisfy all of your guests. HIstory Story Hill Firehouse was built in 1927 as one of five bungalow-style firehouses in the city of Milwaukee. The building was in operation until 1998, when a new firehouse was built in the area. They opened in July 2019 as a new event venue with all it's historic charm!

We got married at Story Hill Firehouse yesterday and it was perfect!! Amy is more than amazing as is the rest of the staff. She helped me through all of my anxieties and worked with me through the entire process. If I ever had to do it all again, I would not hesitate one second and rebook with them. Our guests were so complimentary of the space and everyone involved.

As soon as we saw the Story Hill Fire House, we knew it would be on our short list for wedding reception venues. As soon as we toured and met with Amy, the manager, we knew it was the one for us! As it turns out, we made a great decision – we’re still getting compliments on the venue four months later! Story Hill Fire House was very fairly priced, especially for a Friday night, and both Janelle and Amy, as well as their staff, were responsive, professional, and went above and beyond what was advertised. The space is warm and inviting and strikes the perfect balance between formal and relaxed. It’s beautiful enough that we didn’t need to spend an arm and a leg on flowers and decor, and the fun Milwaukee history was right up our alley as a couple! It is a little smaller than many local venues, but we liked it enough that we chose to do a cocktail style reception rather than a seated dinner just so we could fit 150 people in the space. We held our ceremony at our church, so we did not need this service, but we have no doubts that they would’ve pulled off a ceremony and “flipping” the space with no issues had we needed it. Additionally, we were a little worried about street parking, but it ended up being a complete non-issue. In all, we loved hosting our wedding reception at Story Hill Fire House, would recommend it to anyone, and would absolutely host another event here in the future!

BOOK IT!!! We reached out to Janelle and Amy after having to cancel our wedding in Jamaica (COVID). Janelle was amazing through the whole process - kept me in the loop, suggested vendors when I had no clue where to begin and made sure our wedding day was more than we could have Imagined!

We booked Story Hill Firehouse while they were in the middle of remodeling based on how great Janelle and Amy treated us and their sheer excitement to open the venue. They have been a blessing through this entire experience. I have spent countless hours just chatting with them and they have provided me with way more than necessary advice and tips! They are just as excited about our wedding as we are. The place has so much historic charm and is the perfect place for intimate wedding. 10/10/2020 can’t come soon enough!
