Sugarhouse Chester, NyWe came across Sugarhouse venue on google and scheduled a viewing. Upon meeting the owners Douglas Mace, and his cousin Tim, you can see the excitement in his eyes and hear it in his voice...We were one of the first weddings at the Sugarhouse. Douglas Mace has orchestrated over 500 weddings! The moment we arrived we knew Sugarhouse was place we would say our \"I Do's\" Douglas guided and assured us everything would be perfect. June 3, 2023 was our special day, this is our second marriage with our blended families. Above the barn are bridal and grooms suites. The brides suite has two full size mirrors, a room for makeup and hair, and plush couches to relax on before greeting our guests. The grooms suite has an old barber chair, relaxing couches, mirrors, decorated with rustic masculine touches. Our guests arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne and canape'. My son walked me down the aisle covered in rose petals. We said our vows under the \"kissing tress\" which were joined by white flowing fabric. My cousin was the wedding officiant, we had a lot of laughs and tears during our ceremony. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony, guest scrolled to the barn passing a few cows, congratulating us, and we enjoyed being photograph along the natural landscape.Beverages was set up on hay bales and topped with glass, the bar furniture is rustic. As you walk into the barn where the reception took place, a long decorated diner tables with flowers and candles decorated by David Anthony Florist, One end of the barn to the other, and a few round tables on the side, the half doors were open, allowing the us to see the scenery, it was breathtaking! The appetizers were plenty and devine! Our dinner choice was gnocchi, salmon, chicken, each were delectable! Master Chef Douglas Mace did not disappoint! Our guests expressed how flavorful their meal was. Kimbo's Slices, made the desserts, carrot cake with walnuts, cupcakes, cannoli, and mini pies. Everyone of them were scrumptious! The staff was amazing, and it couldn't have been a better day! We had best time on the best day! We feel like family now:)A Million Thank you's SUGARHOUSE!!Steven & Stacey Reviewed on 20-06-2023

I recently went to a friends wedding here and it was amazing! Such a beautiful and unique place they have cultivated! Views, food, and location were breathtaking. After an amazing night of dancing and celebration, I left with a bottle of maple syrup they make on the property. I cant wait until the next event there! Reviewed on 16-11-2023

Attended a wedding at sugarhouse over the weekend and was BLOWN AWAY. The food was better than what ive had at restaurants let alone wedding venues! The views were phenomenal and dancing the night away under the stars was something ill always remember. My partner and I already decided this is where we will be having our wedding. The sugar house is the perfect place for where rustic meets class. Douglas and his team will help you every step of the way and is so accommodating. They truly are helping peopleās dreams come true for one of the biggest days of the couples lives. Although I did not use the venue I felt the need to share with other brides what a lovely experience it was touring and meeting with Douglas. If you are looking for a rustic, intimate wedding I HIGHLY recommend going to tour this venue. Douglas is willing to work will the couples as much as he can and is very open and honest. I highly suggest you go and tour the facility. Reviewed on 06-11-2023

Douglas and his wife welcomed us with bright smiles the moment we walked in! Seeing how they took the time to learn about my fiance and I's special day was so reassuring. I felt comfortable speaking with them and explaining our budget. They provided us with a beautiful tour of their property, as well. I highly recommend Sugarhouse for your wedding!
