Sugarloaf is the ultimate destination wedding venue. Your wedding will have views of the surrounding Western Mountains of Maine with the convenience of a modern year-round resort. We offer a variety of wedding packages and can even custom create packages to best fit the vision you have of your special day. Our premier reception space - King Pine, has the feel of a grand ballroom with café lighting, a custom built in dance floor and views of the Bigelow Mountains. Other reception venues include a rustic Maine mountain lodge, Outdoor Center; a modern restaurant for couples looking for a relaxed après feel, The Widowmaker; as well as a new and modern location, The Competition Center. With knowledgeable wedding venue coordinators and experienced staff, Sugarloaf is the perfect location to celebrate your special day.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Sugarloaf on Saturday May 29, 2021. It was better than we could have ever dreamed and having had postponed 2 times due COVID, we can say it was well worth the wait. Sugarloaf has always been a special place for us but our experience with the entire Sugarloaf staff from start to finish solidified that Sugarloaf is home, and the staff is family. From the moment we sat down for our first meeting with Kayla and Scott, it felt right. Kayla was incredibly kind, thoughtful, responsive and understanding through the ups and downs of wedding planning through a pandemic (all while also planning her own!). Our guests began commenting on the kind and welcoming staff back when they were first just calling to book their rooms and they continued to praise the overall Loaf experience through the entirety of our wedding weekend. Sugarloaf will forever hold a special place in our hearts and every trip up we will be reminded of the magic of our wedding. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every staff member at Sugarloaf! You made all our wedding dreams come true!

Our daughter was married at sugarloaf Sept 2019. It's a beautiful place with many options for a wedding location, indoors or out. We were blessed with a beautiful day on the golf course location. Reception at the King Pine room. The wedding coordinator, Kayla was amazing! Staff was great serving food and cake. Our meals were delicious. Would highly recommend this venue! It's also great to have a place where no one needs to drive, hotel is on site!

We got married outside at \"The Beach\" and then had our reception right inside in the King Pine room. It was fabulous! We had such a great time, and we heard lots of positive feedback from our guests as well. Our original venue fell through (right after we sent our save the dates...), and luckily Sugarloaf still had our date available! The coordination ahead of time and day-of was great, and everything went smoothly. There were a couple of times when we seemed to rehash the same details multiple times but other than that everything was good. We were able to organize an informal after party at The Rack nearby, and Sugarloaf coordinated the transportation. We (and many of our guests) stayed at the Sugarloaf hotel, which was super convenient for the ceremony, but a lot of our friends also found airbnbs nearby as well. Definitely would recommend this venue to other couples!

My husband and I had our wedding at Sugarloaf on 6/9/18. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire Sugarloaf staff!! From the maintenance people who helped set up, the hotel staff, to the waiters...Professional, polite, helpful, accommodating...the list goes on! It felt like we had the mountain and hotel to ourselves during this time of year. The scenery was gorgeous. The chef and food prepared were amazing. The wedding coordinator, Julia, was so helpful and took all the stress out of wedding planning. Would highly recommend Sugarloaf as your wedding destination! So grateful we chose this venue, it was perfect!

My husband and I had our wedding at Sugarloaf on 6/9/18. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire Sugarloaf staff!! We got had our reception at Sugarloaf in the King Pine Room. It was literally the perfect place to get married. The hotel next door offers very affordable rates for your overnight guests and it was an easy walk back forth. They provide you with a wedding coordinator which was extremely helpful; especially during the day of. We were able to access the room on Friday to decorate all day and then again Saturday morning to do the centerpiece flowers. They were very accommodating, even allowing us to drive our car all the way up to the back door to unload our decorations. They lit the outdoor fireplace all night long! Cocktail hour was set up in a separate room with it's own bar and then there was another bar set up in the King Pine Room for the reception. It was great to have two separate places for our guests to explore. Amazing pictures with the mountain in the background. It was the most magical place for us to have our reception.

My husband and I got married in September at Sugarloaf. We used Bridal bridge for our ceremony and the outdoor center for the reception. The area is beautiful, it was a very affordable option, and the overall experience was wonderful. The planning process was a little bit stressful. Our venue for the reception was double booked without notification and we were expected to change our ceremony time. Response time to questions was very slow, and it seemed like after we booked the venue we were not a priority. That being said, the day itself went off without a hitch. I would use the venue again, but be warned you have to be a little pushy to get what you want and you need to stay on top of the details. Overall it was a perfect day.
