Situated in the idyllic Gulf of Mexico, this island resort offers stunning white sand beaches and panoramic views of the coast. The property was recently awarded Best Events Facilities on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and boasts both modern amenities and services that are sure to impress. A number of indoor and outdoor options are available for couples who choose Sundial Beach Resort & Spa for their special day. The property’s beach, with its crystal clear waters and soothing ocean sounds, provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Post-ceremony, you and your guests can retire to the property’s stylish Gulf-front terrace to enjoy a cocktail reception as you mingle with guests. Additional event spaces include the venue’s lush gulf-view lawn, semi-private hibiscus-laced lawn, and spacious indoor ballroom with an adjoining outdoor terrace, offering stunning beach-front views and capacity for up to 200 attendees. Prior to the ceremony, you and your wedding party can also utilize the professional beauty located onsite. In addition to the big day itself, the team can also host a range of related events such as engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, and next-day celebrations. Their expert coordination team offers personal consultations and can assist in devising an itinerary that best suits you and your partner’s needs. We had such a great experience hosting our wedding at Sundial. Not only did our guests have a great time at the wedding but we were so pleased with the experience of the planning and execution of the wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Francesca as our Catering Sales Manager and she was so responsive and supportive throughout the entire process. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The wedding reception area was beyond perfect as we were tucked between beautiful palm trees. We couldn't have been happier.

We had such a great experience hosting our wedding at Sundial. Not only did our guests have a great time at the wedding but we were so pleased with the experience of the planning and execution of the wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Francesca as our Catering Sales Manager and she was so responsive and supportive throughout the entire process. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The wedding reception area was beyond perfect as we were tucked between beautiful palm trees. We couldn't have been happier.

Our wedding was on May 14th, 2022 this year and it was the most beautiful day we could have ever asked for and received. Our wedding coordinators Tracy and Francesca at the Sundial Beach Resort and Spa were both wonderful throughout this whole journey of helping us plan our perfect day! We started planning at the beginning of 2020 and our wedding date was originally for May of 2021 but we had to postpone because of Covid. Tracy was nothing but wonderful throughout the whole process and making sure everything transitioned to the following year. We met with Tracy several times throughout the process and since we live in Ohio and our wedding was in Florida she made the process very easy by email and phone since we couldn't always meet in person. She was super helpful getting me in contact with Annie the manager of the salon to setup my makeup and hair trials and also getting us in contact with the baker to do cake samples for our wedding cake. Once our wedding day got closer we got to meet Francesca who also coordinates weddings at the Sundial, since ours was postponed there was another wedding on our new date so Tracy was overseeing that one and Francesca would be over ours. Leading up to our final days Francesca was wonderful getting everything in line and coordinated for the big day. She was very organized in getting all the details aligned and I felt very confident with her taking over. When I got the final draft and all the details for the wedding there was some ironing out of the details but all the things I needed fixed or adjusted, Francesca was on top of it and got everything taken care of for me. On our actual wedding day everything ran more smoothly than I could have ever asked for or imagined. Everything from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, into the reception was just magical and wonderful. The food from the Sundial chief was top notch from the horduvers, the salad, and of course the main entrée's were all mouth watering. Many of my guests have continued to tell me how wonderful the food and staff were that evening. Last the open bar was very worth part of the package and the bartender and staff again did nothing but an amazing job throughout the whole wedding. Also not only having the wedding at Sundail but also staying there was overall a fabulous experience. Our room was very open, comfortable, cozy, and great view of the ocean. On our wedding day Sundial spoiled us with delivering to our room champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a tote and a card to wish us a wonderful day and I thought that was so sweet of them. The guests that did stay at the resort, I heard nothing but great reviews of their rooms as well and that they all enjoyed the amenities that the resort had to offer. Everyone enjoyed the beach, the multiple pools at the resort, and that the restaurants were very good as well. Overall I would very much recommend Sundial Beach Resort & Spa for a wedding or any other special occasion to someone. They defiantly take care of you here and they do a wonderful job! Special thanks again for everything to Tracy, Francesca, and the whole Sundial Staff, you all work so very hard and it shows!

Sundial was incredible to work with and absolutely went above and beyond for our wedding weekend! We spent 5 days on the resort and had lots of friends and family flying into town. One of the things I loved about the resort was that whether you were there looking to have a good time and party or there with your kiddos, the resort offers so many activities and entertainment regardless of the occasion! A lot of friends were able to turn our wedding weekend into a week long family vacation with their kiddos and had an incredible time! I loved how everything was close by and in walkable distance. Our guests didn't have to rent golf carts to get where they needed to be and were able to locate the spots for all of our wedding activities. Further, working with the Sundial team, especially Francesca and Tony was amazing. Francesca made sure everything went off without a hitch and the reception was setup exactly how I had imagined it would look like. She was super responsive to all of my questions and as we got closer and closer to wedding day, her attentiveness and ability to easy any and all of my concerns allowed me to be completely stress free going into wedding weekend! It felt so good not having to worry or stress about anything! Tony was our bar manger for the whole weekend and was the absolute sweetest! All of our guests loved him! Both Francesca and Tony conducted themselves with the upmost professionalism and were so easy to work with! Our weekend went so smooth that my parents are considering doing their vow renewal at Sundial because of our experience. My husband and I can't wait to go back as Sundial will always remain a very special place to us!

She was flexible, consultative, extremely prompt with follow-ups, and just FUN to work with! Day of, Francesca continued to be amazing! Many of our guests commented on how attentive and helpful she was to them. Guests also noted that she had a charismatic energy that was fun to interact with. Future brides - you will love Francesca! The customer service model of the Sundial is exceptional! Every staff member we interacted with, went out of their way to accommodate any request that we had no matter how big or small. We’re so happy with every aspect of our wedding weekend and day!

Our wedding at the Sundial resort was amazing! Everything from the day we started the initial planning to brunch the morning after the wedding went so smoothly and beautifully. Francesca was a huge help…she was always very responsive, helpful, positive and full of great ideas. She made it seem like coordinating weddings at the Sundial was second nature to her! Our entire wedding day, including my hair and makeup services at the spa, the ceremony on the beach, the cocktail hour and the reception went perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. My only complaint is that I didn’t want the day to end! My husband and I would highly recommend the Sundial Resort and we owe a huge thanks to everyone there who made our wedding events so special!

I highly advise looking at a different venue. The Sundial resort coordinator made a lot of promises & didn’t deliver. Tracy Snyder should never be able to plan another wedding ever. Thank God I personally hired a wedding planner - But the resort used my planner to blame all of the problems we had & has yet to take responsibility. Myself & my bridesmaids were waiting for someone to come and get us before the ceremony - but no one did. We were told we’d get a golf cart ride to the main building. But instead we were getting calls asking where we were, we had to carry our flowers, personal belongings, etc & walk through the parking lot. After that, I can say that thanks to our wedding planner, our ceremony was beautiful, the cocktail hour was nice, & we did get some amazing speeches in the few moments that we were able to enjoy all of the hard work we put into planning the decor. But even though my planner confirmed with Tracy that there would be a back up plan if it rained…and that she’d handle it - it wasn’t handled. Guess what, it rained. The resort will say that they asked myself and my husband if we wanted to move inside, which is not true. I was never approached by the resort. I was approached by my planner. I didn’t want to move inside but I also was not looking at the radar and I did not know what was coming. The resort has a safety team for a reason. It wasn’t safe nor sanitary for our friends and family to sit outside in a downpour. Rather than setting up our backup space with the resort linens, chairs, center pieces etc that I didn’t use - they stood around and did nothing. Then they moved my people to a space that didn’t fit them, with zero linens, zero silverware, and no bar. I paid for an open bar that was not open for at lease an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I had guests going to the main bar and paying for drinks! After I paid $175 per person that included an open bar. The bartender Tony was rude to my guests, complaining about the specialty drinks we selected and sent to the venue weeks in advance. As my people were moving tables and getting chairs, so that they could finally sit down for dinner, no one from the resort was serving my guests water, soda, tea - they had nothing to drink. And then because of the delay the food came out cold. Oh and my cake - my cake was just sitting on a shit table - the cake tower that I borrowed from the venue was left outside with my cake topper. My bridesmaids and family were trying to brave the rain to bring things in to try to make it right. As a result of that, my cousin cut her foot on a vase that she dropped because it was so wet outside and ended up getting 4 stitches at the ER. I paid nearly $40,000 for the entire wedding. Planned every detail down to the color of the flatware and the resort essentially ruined the entire thing due to their lack of planning and disorganization. They had zero compassion for what happened and took no responsibility. Also, i can’t forget to mention that Tracy left before the event was over. They offered me $1,000 off the bill, a free breakfast and a 2 night stay for our anniversary, but then shortly after responded to Google reviews defaming me & my husband, saying things that absolutely weren’t true. All I can say is that I married my best friend and we were surrounded by people who support and love us in the most amazing way possible. Having them, is what will carry us through the sadness we feel because we were treated so poorly by the venue.

We live on the east coast of Florida but my dream was to always have a sunset wedding. So we went in search of our perfect match & we found it at The Sundial. The resort speaks for itself. Right on the beach with chairs & umbrellas provided as well as multiple pools on property. The scenery is beautiful & guest services are great. We had the pleasure of working with Francesca as our wedding event planner. From day 1 she became our friend & was easy to work with as well as talk to. Towards the end I thought I was going to drive her crazy with my 100 questions & concerns but she was able to answer all my questions & resolve my concerns. Day of food tasting came around & the chef was just as hospitable. The food was so amazing that it made it hard what to choose from. My husband & I had a last minute thought of having our rehearsal dinner at the resort & Francesca & her team made it happen. The same day is when I brought all my DIY’s for the day of the wedding as well as favors. The big day is here & we couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. Our ceremony was on the beach & Francesca made sure our favors were out for our guests to grab. I was able to have a sneak peek of the ballroom before all the guests came in & everything was set up just as I envisioned it. We had such a great time! We made a whole vacation out of it & stayed for 6 days. We can’t wait to come back one day & relax as a married couple & enjoy all the wonderful amenities & beautiful beach!

Our special day was perfect! Francesca prepared and coordinated the day with vendors in detail- from the beach rehearsal & our wedding ceremony, right down to cocktail hour on the private Lace Murex lawn, followed by the beautiful private ballroom with a terrace overlooking the ocean. The Sundial is perfectly set up to have a destination wedding.

Our special day was perfect! Francesca prepared and coordinated the day with vendors in detail- from the beach rehearsal & our wedding ceremony, right down to cocktail hour on the private Lace Murex lawn, followed by the beautiful private ballroom with a terrace overlooking the ocean. I had my wedding at the Sundial resort beach and spa in Sanibel island this past weekend and it was a dream come true. Not only is the resort gorgeous with tons to do but the staff is outstanding. Incredible service from beginning to end. All my guests raved about the food and how much fun they had. Best decision I made for my wedding was deciding to work with Sundial. I worked with Tracy, their director of sales and catering and I truly believe without her my wedding planning process would have been 10 times more stressful. Countless emails between the two of us making sure my day would go seamless and every concern I presented her with was taken care of instantly. These people really aim to please and I will forever be grateful that I chose this location to have my wedding. So many great memories that we'll talk about the rest of our lives. Thank you Tracy and everyone at Sundial! We will definitely be back!

I got married at sundial in November. Planning went great. Everything was great until the day of. I was told there was going to be assistance with turning the light on and getting a few odds and ins put together for the reception. We had none. I only had a few things we needed help with. The wedding coordinator was doing another couples rehearsal 10 minutes before the start of my ceremony. That resulted in my guests having no direction on where to go or what to do to get to the ceremony (which I was told would be done). One of my guests needed a beach wheelchair I was told would be down by the ceremony ready for him. That wasn’t there either. We had to hunt someone down to get it for him. There was no golfcart or anything ready to get me, nor my husband down to the ceremony area which we were told would be done. When it came time for the reception the wedding coordinator was very disrespectful when talking to my grandmother about how the name tags were supposed to be coordinated with what food our guests requested. Which, again, we were not told ahead of time. Regardless I should’ve been the one she talked to. When my husband and the wedding coordinator went in to find a spot for one of my guests she proceeded to say to my husband “you know everyone always talks about how pretty the bride is but you are one of the most handsome grooms we’ve had.”. The food was not executed the way we were told it was going to be. Not to mention my food was cold when I got it. We had also set up the open bar to go until 10:30. The bar staff was going to close it at 9. The bar staff tried to get ahold of her several times about this and there was no response. The wedding coordinator left at about 7. Overall, the planning with her was great. The execution on the day of was not there at all. I didn’t have many requests by any means but the few I had were not done. It was extremely frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. I would absolutely not recommend having your wedding here. The staff was a mess with the exception of a few. Gorgeous venue I just wish the execution was done.

I got married at the Sundial on 9/24/21. It was stunning and everything I had imagined. My wedding was on the smaller side around 24 people. My ceremony was held on the lawn and overlooked the ocean. We had our reception on the terrace and it was picture perfect. Between the stringy lights and looking out and having the biggest view of the ocean it was surreal. Our bartender was on it and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the night. The food was delicious everyone really enjoyed it! Tracy and Chandler were the absolute best! Having a destination wedding can be stressful because you really just have the trust the process an hope it all comes together. They made sure my wedding day was perfect and everything I had imagined. I can't thank them enough for making my day so special. My husband and I would highly recommend the Sundial to future brides and grooms!

We got married at The Sundial on 9/20/2021 and it was the most magical, fantastic experience ever!! We had never been to The Sundial or Sanibel before and we checked it out for the first time after seeing it on the internet in May. We automatically knew that it was the place of our dreams! The property is gorgeous.... it was like paradise! The landscaping is beautiful, and the beach is private and there aren't a lot of random people walking around, so we knew it would be perfect for our wedding ceremony! In the months leading up to our big day, Francesca kept in constant contact with me and calmed all my nerves.During our stay, all The Sundial staff was personable, responsive, and professional. We and our guests were so happy with the rooms! They were clean, and pretty. We really loved the full kitchens! The amenities were fantastic! We went kayaking, paddle boarding, played pickle ball, rode bikes, played ping pong and BINGO. We frequented the Tiki Bar for delicious food and Pina Coladas and their special drink \"Put the Lime in the Coconut\"!!! My bridal party and I went to the Kay Casperson Spa for hair and makeup and Ashley (makeup) and Julia (hair) were phenomenal! They made all of us look like models!!! The set up on the beach for the ceremony was beautiful, and the entire catering team was so accommodating and flexible with every little request we made during the reception. We are already trying to plan our next trip to The Sundial. We just loved it so much, and I think you would too!!!!

My husband and I chose the Sundial sight unseen! We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! For the amount of guests we invited we chose to have our reception in the Sundial ballroom 1 and 2! Sundial accommodated us perfectly. We were able to spend the entire week by the pool, on the beach and enjoying al the amenities. When it came to the wedding festivities, the team at sundial was professional, reliable and easy to work with. If I had any issue or needed anything extra it was resolved promptly. We got married at Sundial on Nov 28th with a very small COVID wedding (9 people total.) Lavender Yi was our coordinator and she really went above and beyond to put together a perfect experience. She was really patient and helpful in planning everything in only 4 weeks! She helped me through every decision without ever making me feel rushed. I was worried with such a small group, the resort might not be focused on the wedding, especially when I first got there and saw the resort was pretty full for the weekend. Lavender met me when I arrived and walked me through everything. On the day of the wedding, Lavender made us feel that we were the only people at the resort. She was there the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly and everyone was having a great time.

One of our favorite aspects about the resort was that we were able to hold all of our events outdoors, including our reception and open dancing portion where our guests loved dancing barefoot in the sand under the palm trees and stars. We also found that the resort was great for bringing people together, as all of the events happened onsite and it was easy to meet up at the tiki bar or the main pool to socialize. Lastly, there were a great deal of activities that the resort offers, so we never felt like we had to entertain everyone that traveled and stayed multiple nights for our wedding.If the review above convinced you to inquire about having your wedding at the Sundial, know that you will be in great hands with Lavender Yi (Catering Sales Manager). Lavender was everything we could ask for in a planner/coordinator and more. She was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsive, all things that were especially important when planning a destination wedding. Shout out to Lavender - you're the best!The Sundial will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and there is no doubt in our mind we will be returning to vacation with family and friends in the future.

Overall, the Sundial Beach Resort and Spa did a fantastic job at hosting our wedding. We could not have asked for more diligent, thorough service and help throughout the entire process. The resort is beautiful, and rooms are very nice and have a diverse selection for different numbers of guests attending your wedding. We had our wedding in the West Lawn and it was beautiful. The lawn has a great view of the water but added privacy from the beach. The reception in the Lace Murex Lawn was also wonderful. Based on our wedding size, we had ample room to eat, dance and socialize in the lawn. Tracey Snyder, the Catering Sales Manager, was very professional, kindhearted and helped us make our wedding day very special and unforgettable. She was very easy to work with and always responded to our inquiries leading up to our wedding. We enjoyed working with her and know you will be in very good hands with Tracey as the main coordinator for your wedding.The banquet team (Tony from Philadelphia and Stacy) were excellent at our reception. They did a great job orchestrating the meals and refreshments throughout the evening. Honestly, they went above and beyond, exceeding our requests. For example, we had a small box under the table for our campaign flutes that we forgot when the reception ended. They made sure to hold onto it in a safe area, contacted us and asked if we needed it back before disposing of it (which was wonderful because we needed it to keep the flutes safe during our flight back home). This is just one simple example of how diligent they were at making the entire process flawless. The staff was also very courteous. Brendon and Tony at the breakfast buffet were very receptive to all our needs. We had a 20-person buffet breakfast and they were on top of everything. We felt like they did excellent work and were very friendly. The staff at the front desk was also very helpful and welcoming. There are certainly many options for wedding venues at Sanibel, Florida. We honestly believe Sundial did a fantastic job and recommend them with no reservations. Further, we believe they will do great work and make your wedding day and overall stay very special.

We enjoyed working with her and know you will be in very good hands with Tracey as the main coordinator for your wedding.The banquet team (Tony from Philadelphia and Stacy) were excellent at our reception. They did a great job orchestrating the meals and refreshments throughout the evening. Honestly, they went above and beyond, exceeding our requests. For example, we had a small box under the table for our campaign flutes that we forgot when the reception ended. They made sure to hold onto it in a safe area, contacted us and asked if we needed it back before disposing of it (which was wonderful because we needed it to keep the flutes safe during our flight back home). This is just one simple example of how diligent they were at making the entire process flawless. The staff was also very courteous. Brendon and Tony at the breakfast buffet were very receptive to all our needs. We had a 20-person buffet breakfast and they were on top of everything. We felt like they did excellent work and were very friendly. The staff at the front desk was also very helpful and welcoming. There are certainly many options for wedding venues at Sanibel, Florida. We honestly believe Sundial did a fantastic job and recommend them with no reservations. Further, we believe they will do great work and make your wedding day and overall stay very special.

Sundial Beach Resort and Spa is hands down the best decision we could've made when it came to choosing our wedding venue. We used Lavender Yi as our catering and event manager, and she was absolutely amazing. She made our wedding planning process a breeze, and was available every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns we had (even when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19). We toured several locations on Sanibel and decided to go with Sundial based on the size, appeal, and comfort knowing Tiffany (Catering Sales Manager) could handle a large wedding. We are from Minnesota but stayed in constant contact with Tiffany which helped us keep our sanity as we prepared for a wedding hundreds of miles away. As the big day approached Tiffany and the resort couldn't have been more accommodating as we were able to ship all our gifts and wedding decorations down a week in advance. Faced with rain leading up to the ceremony Tiffany handled the adversity well and made sure our ceremony would still be as beautiful as we imagined with only a slight delay. The wedding, cocktail hour, reception, and hospitality was incredible. We can not THANK Tiffany enough for coordinating such an amazing day. Sundial and the rest of its staff was great to work with and we would highly recommend having your wedding at this venue if your looking on the island.

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at the Sundial Resort & Spa this past weekend!! Tiffany was amazing from the day we toured the venue right through our reception. She was so easy to work with and she went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect and that my husband and I (and my overly involved parents) were abundantly happy. The grounds at the Sundial are absolutely beautiful and everything was picture perfect from our welcome party on Friday night to our sunset ceremony on the west lawn, our breathtaking cocktail hour on the ballroom balcony and our reception in the ballroom. The food was great both at our event and at the hotel's restaurants. The staff was super friendly and accommodating all weekend and all of our guests had an incredible time and are already talking about going back for another stay at the Sundial. I honestly could not be more pleased and would reccomend the Sundial to anyone looking to have a stress-free and amazing wedding experience!

We also had dinner at the Japanese steakhouse Shima which was fantastic! If your looking to have that beautiful beach wedding then Sundial is the perfect venue!

Sundial was the perfect place for us because they offer a variety of amenities for EVERY guest including those that aren’t necessarily “beach people,” which was an important aspect for us. Guests are able to rent bikes to explore the island, kayak, paddleboard, hit the gym, activities for those of all ages, table tennis, foosball, or simply relax by the pool and/or beach. The resort is an oasis, and our pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Having our wedding at Sundial was the best decision I/we made about our wedding! Tiffany (the wedding and catering manager/coordinator) was so easy to work with. She was very prompt in answering my unending questions and emails, and always ensured I had all the information I needed. Up to the last detail (and things I didn't even think about) she made sure everything went smoothly and exactly as I had envisioned and wanted. Tiffany and the Sundial team also provided a list of suggested vendors, which made planning a wedding from home much easier, and we could not have been happier with those that we selected. Our friends and family are still raving about how much they enjoyed their stay at Sundial and we cannot wait to go back!

Everyone from the front desk associates, the wait staff, safety, and cleaning crew were incredibly friendly to me and our guests. They went above and beyond to be helpful both in helping us with the wedding as well as ensuring we enjoyed our stay as resort guests.3. Food!: They were very accommodating and let us heavily customize our menu. Our guests raved about the food (and honestly, wedding food is usually nothing to write home about). Because we live states away, we went in without a tasting-and were blown away by the flavor and quality. It was beyond our expectations and I have never heard so many wedding guests compliment the food.4. Resort Rooms/Amenities: The multiple options of condos offered at Sundial are perfect for families and friends to share if they chose. We had quite a few family members stay for a week surrounding our wedding and they raved at how happy they were with the facilities and ease of everything being in one spot. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities. The pool area/tiki bar is a fun spot to hang out and you are steps away from the beach. Our family and friends-ranging from age 1 to 86--all had a blast. 5. The beach/view: Sundial sits right on the beach, offering views that cannot be beat. The floor to ceiling windows and balconies facing the beach and gulf the resort offers are the best backdrop/wedding decoration you could ask for.There is honestly not one thing either of us would change about our experience at Sundial. Just for comparison, we looked at Casa Y Bell and Tween Waters as well as the Dunes going into our planning process. We have no doubt we ended up picking the best location for us and our guests.

We really enjoyed our wedding at Sundial, and have heard great comments from family and friends as well.The food was amazing from our cocktail hour hor d'oeuvres to entrees to the late night apps. Our cake from LadyCakes which was part of our package was so good. Many guests said it was the best cake they had had, so thank you Bess from LadyCakes and even bigger thanks to Tiffany at Sundial for introducing us to them. Tiffany O., the Wedding Coordinator, is great! Our planning had a small hurdle of a very strong Hurricane hitting the area, however Tiffany kept us on track! She is so sweet and accomodating, as well as so helpful in all the many questions I had to ask. She called almost 48 hours with a style recommendation that ended up looking great and made sure all our other details did too (from hand tying the bows on our chairs herself acccepting nothing but perfection!). There were a few hiccups with our room block which Tiffany had nothing to control, but immediately offered what she could do to help.Such a great time! Thank you Tiffany, the staff and Sundial.

I had originally booked my wedding with a different venue in the area. When hurricane Irma hit, the venue was destroyed. Sundial was kind enough to host the wedding for us since they had not been effected. If it wasn't for them, we may not have been able to have our wedding. Since we live out of state, and all our guests as well, this would have been a disaster. Tiffany and her team took over and saved the day! They were able in a week's time to set up our wedding. Living out of state I had never even seen the resort. But Tiffany personally took photos to send to me and answered all my questions so that I could still have the wedding of my dreams! She was easy to get a hold of and made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. We got married on the beach which was set up beautifully. Then our reception was upstairs and had a huge balcony overlooking the ocean, which we were also able to use for cocktail hour. I would definitely recommend Sundial as their service and venue was perfect!

She just smiled, told us everything was under control, and it was time for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. It totally did the trick. From that point on, we just let the night unfold, and it did so perfectly.The catering staff is as close to perfection as you will get. They were friendly and helpful and just so attentive to our every need. Food and drinks just flowed so effortlessly, you hardly knew they were around, bringing stuff out, taking it away. The bartender (forget his name) was the absolute best. The Sundial is an amazing place to get married.To start, you could not ask for a better event planner than Tiffany. She was so responsive to our many, many, MANY questions. I had my wedding on July 25th 2017 at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa. We worked with Tiffany through our wedding planning process. We stayed through the resort while using all the amenities offered to us. We had a blast and so did our guest. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs as soon as we arrived. First off, the food for our wedding was fabulous. Our guests ranted and raved. We had an excellent appetizer choice with beef and risotto, Caesar salads, and the chicken and fish entrée. It was delicious. Second off, we loved the venue/room we had the wedding in it was perfect for the amount of guests. We used Dr. Dan Lamey as our officiant and he was absolutely excellent and made the ceremony very personable. We also used Tim Delaney as the one man band as DJ/ steel drums. It was a great touch and our guests had a great time. When we came back to the room, Tiffany had a bottle of wine and a diamond keepsake with the Sundial's logo and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a really nice touch and truly made us feel special. We kayaked, drank at the tiki bar, ate at the restaurant and used all the amenities. We also advised our guests to use Sanibel Taxi as well to help get around on the island if guests didn't have rental cars. Our guests had so much fun, once they left we were getting texts and phone calls saying how much they missed the Sundial and how much fun we all had. I am so excited to return over the years, I had an amazing time . We also kicked off the honeymoon with a couples massage at Kay Casperson on the resort, it was the BEST.GIFT.EVER to eachother. It was AMAZING and RELAXING. For all you brides out there, I recommend the splurge on the massage because being a Bride was NOT easy haha :) So detox all your stress! Book at the Sundial for a destination wedding! It's completely affordable for you, for your guests, and offers so much you wont be disappointed.

Having our wedding events at Sundial was the best decision we could have made!!! The resort is absolutely breathtaking, resort staff is friendly and attentive, and Tiffany is amazing! From the first tour with Tiffany over a year before our wedding date, we knew Sundial (and Tiffany) would be perfect for our wedding. Throughout the year of planning, Tiffany was my “right hand woman”. She was available with quick responses whenever I had questions, needed suggestions and to simply help organize my thinking. Destination wedding planning can be super stressful, but Tiffany made it seamless! She was incredibly organized, professional and genuinely wanted to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. I couldn’t have done it without her - even my father recognized that and thanked her during his toast! We had three days of wedding events at Sundial: Welcome Reception, Ceremony, Reception and Sunday Brunch and they were all perfect. The food wonderful and the staff at all three events went above and beyond to be sure our guests were enjoying themselves and the groom and I had everything we needed. We even had a waitress at brunch willingly offer to make plates for our children so we could mingle with guests. We had each of the events at a different location on the resort and they were all beautiful. We used Turtles Beach (with the amber string lights –amazing!) for the Welcome Reception, Beach ceremony, Sundial Ballroom for reception with cocktail hour on the Terrace and the Waterview room for brunch. We did have a brief Florida storm at the start of our Welcome Reception, but Tiffany and her team quickly moved us under the covered area of pool deck. Once the storm passed, we moved back out to Turtles Beach flawlessly. One of my favorite things about Sundial was it was big enough to accommodate our wedding size, but small enough to have all events within close proximity. It made it really simple for our 70 guests (who all stayed at the resort) to get where they needed to be for wedding events and everyone was able to hang out together during the days, mostly gathering around Turtles Pool Bar. Our guests stayed on average about 4-5 nights and they all left talking about what a great time they had at both at the wedding events and on “vacation” and how they’ll definitely be returning to Sundial. We can wait to take more vacations with and without kids to Sundial in the future!

The Sundial Beach Resort and Spa was the perfect venue for our dream wedding! Tiffany was an amazing partner and so helpful. We couldn't have done it without her! Even with a little rain it was the absolute perfect day. Having the spa right on location was the best place for the bridesmaids and myself to get our nails, hair, and makeup done. They were so kind and friendly and it really helped our day start out just right. Our guests still rave about our wedding and the venue and how absolutely perfect everything was! We are so thankful to everyone at the Sundial for making our dream wedding come true! We highly recommend this venue and their team!

With bikes available from Sundial, easy access to water sports, and staying right on the beautiful beach - it was easy for our guests to have fun and enjoy their time on Sanibel. Where do I begin? Our whole experience from planning our wedding to the day of our wedding was amazing. Tiffany the \"wedding coordinator\" was so helpful, accommodating and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. I'm sure every bride is a nervous wreck, specifically the week of the wedding and Tiffany was right there to make the final process feel as stress free and simple as possible. We had about 30 rooms rented for the weekend by our out of town guests and they all raved over how beautiful and comfortable their rooms were. The grounds are beautuful and PERFECT for a beach wedding. We happened to have both our ceremony and reception outside and the set up for both was even better than we expected. Oh and we can't forget the food. We went with the Italian style buffet and it was to die for!!! Our guests were all raving about the entire experience of their weekend. This was a perfect experience on a perfect island and we both highly recommend Sundial for your beach wedding!!

My husband and I chose Sundial to renew our vows of 20 years. We are so glad we did! Of course, the venue is picturesque, but what really made the weekend spectacular was the customer service, and genuine concern by all personnel to help, with whatever they could, to make our event a smooth and beautiful evening. The staff were always smiling, positive and helpful. Everyone worked as though they enjoyed it - I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the steady helm of this group. Also, my guests raved about the food at the reception. As a buffet, the food was piping hot, and looked, smelled and tasted like we were all visiting a 5-star restaurant. I chose the Sanibel Bash menu and recommend it to other brides. My reception stayed on schedule as the wait team kept the tables moving. My guests said the biggest hit on food was the shrimp steamed in beer and leeks, and the chocolate cake! Outside of our great experience with the Vow Renewal, we enjoyed our 1-bedroom suite, which had a beautiful ocean view. The room was nicely designed, clean and felt homey. It was a wonderful respite when needing to have a down moment from guests. Would I do this again? Absolutely! Maybe in another 20 years, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it at Sundial again. I left this hotel happily married, happily fulfilled with our event, and just happy. Thank you Sundial for the memories that are so, so important to my family. We will be back.

From the moment I walked into the Sundial, I knew this was going to be where I would get married. The property is absolutely beautiful, capturing everything that is \"Old Florida\" with a modern vibe. It is the perfect destination wedding venue without needing a passport! We had almost 100 guest attend our wedding, where most including ourselves stayed on the property for 3-5 days. All of the staff genuinely wanting to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They new us all by first name basis by the end of Day 1; from the guys setting up beach chairs and umbrellas, to Jason and Josh at the pool Tiki Hut bar (best bartenders on the island BTW), and the rest of of the staff just beyond accommodating. Tiffany, the Wedding Coordinator and Paul, Food and Beverage Manager want to make sure your day and time there is perfect, they worked with me to customize and create the perfect wedding package.I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Criss Menassa, after doing the pre-wedding sampling, it was difficult narrowing my selections because everything she made was absolutely delicious. During our stay we ate at all of the cafes and restaurants the Sundial had to offer. Every meal at the resort was top notch - probably why the resort won Best Chef in 2015! Tiffany was awesome! Always quick to reply to my emails and phone calls with any questions I had. Very attentive and caring. Tiffany and her staff made my vision come to real life! The girls at the Kay Casperon Salon, did fantastic work - friendly and professional, captured what I was looking for.It began to rain unexpectedly before my ceremony on the beach, Tiffany was able to get all the guest under shelter to keep them dry. As soon as the 'Florida Shower' passed her staff immediately dried off all the chairs so my guest can be seated in a dry chair. They were also able to quickly relocate our cocktail hour that was on the third floor outside terrace overlooking the ocean, to the inside private dining room. After it is all said and done, I HIGHLY recommend the Sundial to everyone. All my guest raved about their experience and one couple is even looking into renewing their vows here. Husband and I look forward to more visits at the Sundial.

The Sundial was the perfect destination for our dream wedding! The ceremony on the beach was beautiful. We had such a stress-free experience planning the wedding with the job well done by Tiffany. The food was top-notch and the wait staff was very courteous. The resort was very accommodating to all of our guests with the numerous amenities. We would highly recommend the Sundial for anyone planning a destination beach wedding.

Amazing and so perfect I wish we could do the weeding weekend again, exactly the same!!! The Sundial Beach Resort is a beautiful resort with a carribbean feel. Tiffany, the wedding coordinator, is simply awesome. Tiffany has years of experience in wedding planning, is kind and easy to work with and her attention to detail made every moment flow seamlessly. All of our guests called this the \"perfect\" beach wedding. Tiffany was the last person by my side until my dad and I walked onto the sand. I'd like to add the Sundial staff, food, service and atmosphere is excellent! Thank you Sundial and Tiffany!!!

The Sundial was AMAZING! We live in Ohio and decided to do a destination wedding. We called and looked at websites all over Sanibel. The staff at the Sundial was awesome. From the very beginning they were always there whenever we needed them. When we arrived everyone greeted us and our guests and were very warm and inviting. The actual resort is BEAUTIFUL! Our family and friends were very impressed and they found there was a lot to do at the resort. It was a great place for a vacation and we will definitely be coming back. \r\rAs a bride planning from so far I NEVER worried about things. This was all in credit to Alicia. She was our wedding coordinator and I seriously can say I couldn't have done this without her. She answered all of my questions and concerns quickly. When we arrived she came and greeted us and showed us around the location of the wedding and reception. We met with her and told her what we envisioned and she took all of our materials and made everything look wonderful. The day of the wedding she was there every step. From making sure my husband made it back from his adventure at sea, to pinning up my dress at the reception when it ripped. She was a step ahead of us all day and knew exactly what to do. She worked EXTREMELY hard to make sure our day was beyond what we expected. \r\rWe love the Sundial! :)

I was the cousin of the groom and a guest at the wedding turned into a wedding planner for this beautiful Sanibel beach wedding on the 20th of Sept. My cousin in the Navy wanted his bride to see our gorgeous sunny FL beaches and exchange their vows there in front of about 75 guests. There are only two venues on Sanibel large enough to accommodate a wedding party that size. The Sundial was amazing, great service we worked with two representatives from the hotel to organize the day starting only about 6 months before the date. The food was excellent and priced fair per head. The tables were lined with white linens and white beach chairs. They set up a back up ceremony area in case of weather and we did have to use it. Luckily half way through the reception the clouds dissipated and we were able to go outside for beach photos. If you are looking for a wonderful beach venue for your wedding or party you should use the Sundial. They are wonderful.
