Sunset Ranch is simply spectacular. The ocean sparkles at your feet, horses graze peacefully in the distance and a grove of trees perched on a hill provide a perfect place for a wedding with branches arching gracefully overhead like a cathedral. It was magical. And the barn. Well the barn is like no other reception area I’ve ever seen. The big doors and windows were wide open to a cool trade breeze that filled the room with fresh air and oxygen so everyone felt happy and light all night. The chandeliers glowed, the floor was soft and the band was placed so people can talk at the tables and be surrounded by music on the dance floor. Did I mention the food? From the delicate hors d’oeuvres passed on trays to the sumptuous banquet tables, the food was amazing. We have a family of foodies so the menu is very important to us and boy did Chef Elmer deliver. Yum! Laurie, the wedding coordinator, is a force of nature. I quickly realized that she is really the key person. If you want a great wedding, find a great wedding coordinator. Laurie is a great wedding coordinator. Laurie and her team of production designers, florists and caterers blended with our choice of live music (Mango Season) to create the perfect evening. And speaking as the father of the bride, there’s nothing as disarming as an email from the owner Greg itemizing the cost of everything including their own modest profit before we signed the contract. I signed the next day. From top to bottom, front to back, Sunset Ranch is a five-star wedding venue.

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Sunset Ranch! Everyone from our wedding coordinator to our waiting staff gave us the best service and did an amazing job of giving us the best day of our lives. I have never seen a venue so organized and seamless. The fact that this venue gives you a wedding coordinator, makes a world of difference. Alia made sure everything was perfect for our wedding day and made it so that we didn’t stress about a single thing. She was super tedious by helping out with the timeline and coordinating all of the vendors. Not only were we happy with the quality of service, but the venue was absolutely gorgeous! We weren’t able to see it beforehand as we live out of state, but right as we walked in, it took our breath away. Everything was newly renovated and so clean. We had our ceremony at Fern’s Garden and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. The photos came out beautifully and we wish we could relive all of it again.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking with the most stunning views of the north shore and the proficiency of our coordinator Jonah and her team the day of our wedding made everything seamless. We couldn’t be happier with sunset ranch and their team for helping us make the biggest day of lives an absolute dream!

When we decided to get married in Hawaii, we were looking for THE venue that checked off our wants/needs. Never having visited the island before, we decided based on what we could see and read on the web. The pictures of the venue didn't compare to how we experienced it on the day of. The beauty, the layout couldn't be more perfect for a ceremony and reception. Working with Alia was a pleasure. The year leading up to our wedding she expertly navigated us through our selections and built our timeline so flawlessly that we never really noticed the day of as things were happening. We were just free to enjoy our day as everything was built to flow around us. Looking back, not once would I say that I would change anything about the day.

On the day of my wedding, I remember walking out of the bridal dressing area and onto the lawn area where our reception was set up and thinking, \"who's wedding is this\"?? I had tears in my eyes because I just could not believe how stunning and beautiful everything was - it far exceeded what I thought it was going to look like. We went with the Standard Package and ended up having about 70 guests. As you can imagine, this is a large sum of money, and we live on the mainland, so we were nervous trying to do this long-distance!With the package, you have to go with their vendors and can exclude a couple (for example, I went with a different bakery for our wedding cake, but I had to find that and pay for it separately -- I strongly recommend doing tastings with all of their vendors and allowing yourself time to research and find others if something doesn't suit you). The food from the standard caterer, Chef Elmer's Island Cuisine - was out of this world. I still dream about the kalbi tacos during the cocktail hour. They even were able to secure a lechon (roasted pig) for us and that made my Filipino family very happy!Our coordinator, Alia, is an angel. She was supportive, kind, empathetic, and went out of her way to reassure us and take care of us. We communicated primarily via email, but had in-person meetings and also a zoom meeting leading up to the wedding.Something for us that was the most meaningful is how well Alia and her team took care of my in-laws. My parents are gone, but my husband's parents are thankfully still with us, but they have health issues and we were so worried about them. We let Alia know we needed them to be taken care of - and they absolutely were. They went above and beyond. My mother in law still talks about how she wanted for nothing and there was always someone asking to help her or get her what she wanted.The flowers, which were done by La Flor, were everything I had hoped for, and more. We wanted a modern tropical vibe and they delivered. Everything looked so colorful and lush and just really well-designed. I appreciated how the owner had a phone call with me (not part of package) to talk through the vibe and what it is I wanted.The only complaint I have is the DJ. The planned DJ had an emergency and another one took his place and definitely did not look at the questionnaire we had to fill out. That part was kind of a mess, but in the end, everyone had fun.All in all, I am not sure there are enough words to describe how stunning this venue is. Having everyone gather together to watch the sunset's gold and purple hues drape over the ocean was unlike anything I've ever experienced. This was the wedding of our dreams. Every guest who attended said they had an incredible time, and we made memories to last us forever. Thank you to Alia and the entire Sunset Ranch team for giving us the best day of our lives.

tl;dr Sunset Ranch is a stunning, breathtaking venue and the staff who run the place and the support they provide is incredible! Venue: I just had my wedding at the venue two weeks ago and was truly in awe of the, unsurprisingly, incredible views and sunset that happened at our wedding. My husband and I only had the chance to see the venue once we booked, but I'd do it again in that order with full confidence. Staffing: Ronda was our coordinator and she was fabulous. Was responsive and especially helpful in the few months leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, all of my bridesmaids spoke SO highly about the customer service she provided and how on top of it she was. And I have very type-A friends so that was a huge compliment to her!Package: My husband and I knew we wanted a beautiful, fun, sentimental wedding and we also didn't want to stress too much over the details and vendors for things that we didn't care too much about. I love that they have a list of preferred vendors and that they provide high quality services and products. I was in love with the flowers we got, setup of the wedding was done to perfection, our DJ did a fantastic job, and the food service staff took such good care of my husband and me - we were never thirsty :)Overall, couldn't recommend this venue and Ronda more! Loved our experience and the magic that was our wedding. It was the perfect setting to bring our dearest friends and family together to witness our union.

My husband and I got married on September 9th, 2023, but first saw this venue back in November 2021. Just driving into the property, we were already blown away by the breath taking view and I had tears in my eyes. It was that very moment that we knew, this was where we wanted to have our reception. Not only is the property amazing, but so are the staff. Greg, the owner, wasn't the type to be just behind the scenes either. He reached out to us a couple times when there were some changes or any updates we needed to know. THAT was a huge plus for us. Our coordinator Jonah, was incredible! Even though we booked so far in advance, she was still available for us when we had any questions or concerns. As the dates started getting closer, Jonah was on top of everything! She really made wedding planning so easy and smooth for my husband and I. From shuttle pick up and drop offs, our live performers, cocktail hour, plate settings, you name it!! When she says, \"I got you.\" She REALLY does! We even ended up going over our original guest count (sorry, again 😅) but Greg, Jonah and Sunset Ranch staff worked their magic to make it all happen. To this day, our guests and even the ones who couldn't be there, rave about how beautiful our wedding was. Our only regret is not having enough pictures, but that's because we were just so caught up in the dream come true. Thank you so much Sunset Ranch! We 1000% recommend Sunset Ranch for your next event! You won't regret it!

My wedding was a dream come true! I would not change one thing about choosing Sunset ranch and working with Ronda Habecker-Even with the unhoped for though not unexpected rain at the end of January! Ronda worked so hard to help my vision come true- we were still able to have a dreamy romantic wedding ceremony in Fern Garden- followed by a beautiful cocktail hour and reception in the barn. It was the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams.. food was amazing! I still dream of it- and the photos with the horse were phenomenal- so many picturesque moments. Ronda and her team made the transitions seamless and I even was able to eat during the day! Ronda is so dear to me that I even invited her to my baby shower 10 months later.Sunset Ranch was my number 1 venue and it really brought to life the north shore- parts of the island both locals and visitors don’t often get to see.

I rarely do reviews but I believe credit must be given where credit is due. My husband and I were very fortunate to have gotten married at Sunset Ranch. We fell in love with this venue from our first visit. We were also very fortunate to have such an amazing coordinator, Ronda. She gave us a tour of the ranch on our first visit and we immediately felt so comfortable with her. I am a bit of a perfectionist and Type A, and Ronda was the same way. From the vision to the execution, she made sure that everything came together as we had envisioned it. The day of our wedding, she ensured that I was not aware of any mishaps, which I appreciate so much because my nerves were already getting the best of me. Ronda is a jack of all trades. She used to work as a florist so when she saw that our cake was a bit bare, she used her floral skills to take small elements of our decor to spruce the cake up and it turned out so beautiful! She truly goes above and beyond for the couple she works with. Another thing that we appreciate so much about her is her honesty and transparency. She let us know if certain elements could not work with the venue, especially if these elements could harm the ranch in anyway. She advocated for us when it came to the vendors. She made sure that their invoices were accurate before sending them to us for approval. There was always an open line of communication, especially during the last few weeks leading up to the wedding. She always responded to our emails, texts, and calls in a timely manner. The ranch was breathtaking. There is a reason why they call it sunset ranch… the sunset view from Charlie’s Pond and Sunset Vista is truly something to behold. We had set aside a time during our wedding for our guests to enjoy the sunset and for our photographer and videographer to capture the sunset views. It’s also amazing to know that this ranch is protected and helps in the conservation of Hawaiian agriculture. We are so glad we chose this venue and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii. If we get the chance to do it all over again, we would choose this venue over and over.

Sunset Ranch is one of those places that brings peace to your soul in what should be a chaotic day. I/we invited our guests on the idea they were coming to Hawaii for my 50th birthday party. But change of plans.. surprise it’s our wedding! My husband and I took the scenic route to get to this point (20+ years), and so we wanted to do it a memorable way. Sunset Ranch’s team stepped up to the challenge. And boy did the exceed all expectations and went above and beyond. I was beyond excited to team up with Jonah who I feel was destined for me! I didn’t feel the need to hire a third party wedding planner because she did it all and everything on that day ran like clockwork that I feel like all I had to do was put on the dress. Her team was always ahead of what we needed so we were never in’s earth of anything and they were so attentive to us and our guests that the flow was seamless. The venue itself brought the ALOHA and you feel it in every aspect of it. The sunset… you need to see it to understand and feel the beauty of it all. I am beyond grateful and my heart is full from having my birthday/wedding here. MAHALO NUI LOA Greg, Jonah and all of Sunset Ranch Team!

Sunset Ranch exceeded our expectations!! My husband and I chose to get married in Hawaii, I'm from Boston & he is from Sydney Australia (where we currently live), it was the most perfect halfway destination for our friends and family!! We didn't want a beach wedding & came across Sunset Ranch! We visited last year and had an amazing tour with Jonah. We were so incredibly lucky and grateful to have Alia as our coordinator. Not only was she incredibly responsive, but she was organized, honest, accommodating, genuine and just an absolute pleasure to work with. There is no better person! Greg was incredibly accommodating and responsive as was all the staff on our wedding day! Everyone was absolutely professional and kind to our guests, especially our bartender that night. She was incredibly busy but held her composure & had a smile on her face the whole night. She was very sweet to everyone. We purchased the vendor package through Sunset Ranch & couldn't have been more satisfied. Our floral, décor, dessert table, food, DJ, servers, were all incredibly amazing! We wish we could do it all over again. Absolutely stunning location with even more amazing staff! We can't thank Greg & Alia enough for all they did for us!

We just got back from the best day of our lives. My husband and I had the honor of having Alia as our wedding planner. The pictures do not do the venue justice. It was even more breathtaking in real life. We were completely stress free throughout the entire process. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Alia and the whole team. I was able to reach her at any time and she replied so promptly. The staff was so, so, so, so, so kind - I can't stress this enough! Our entire vision coming to fruition was so magical.Alia did it all with so much professionalism, poise, and patience. My parents and I sat down during breakfast the following day unpacking how unbelievably calm she was throughout the whole day. She guided us through the whole process and kept us on track throughout the whole night of the wedding without making us feel rushed or shorted in any area. When it was time to leave, the whole shuttle was packed up, we had food to-go for the bride and groom, and everything we brought was there. We did not worry about a single thing.I am so sad that my time as a bride has come to an end. Which means I will no longer have to text Alia for random questions or thoughts. When I say it was the best day of our lives, I really mean it. We couldn't have picked a better venue.

We are so happy we went with Sunset Ranch, which was not only absolutely BEAUTIFUL as a venue (all of our guests were amazed at how beautiful it was)-- but Sunset Ranch also makes the wedding planning process incredibly easy with their packages!If you are not local and would like stress-free planning (i.e., someone to recommend vendors, guide you on what decisions you need to make, etc.), I would highly recommend Sunset Ranch + working with Alia, who was our planner! She was incredibly patient and accommodating in all of our questions or requests, and was a calming presence during planning and day-of. Even with a package, they are still flexible to make any customizations you want-- for example, we had a family member officiate, got desserts from a local bakery, and got some of our rentals from another rental company that was more cost effective. We can't say enough good things about the venue, the Sunset Ranch team, and Alia. We had the absolute best wedding day!

I can't recommend Sunset Ranch enough!! Our wedding was the most beautiful and perfect day! Our planner, Alia, was amazing! There was a change in our planners a few months prior to our wedding, but Alia stepped right in and made sure she was up to speed and took care of everything. Even though it rained the morning of the wedding, by 2:30 when our ceremony started, Alia and her team had everything set up and ready to go once the rain stopped. Sunset Ranch is really one of the most beautiful places in Hawaii and I am so happy we got to celebrate our wedding there, it's something my husband and I will cherish forever!

We absolutely loved our wedding experience at Sunset Ranch!!! We chose this particular wedding venue because it's a breathtaking property on the North Shore of Oahu with gorgeous mountain and ocean views. We particularly liked the different wedding packages to choose from, as well as the option to tailor a few things. We also appreciated that our wedding was the only event booked for the entire day, so it provided a sense of privacy and intimacy as well. Our wedding coordinator, Alia, was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire wedding planning process. I highly recommend her! Sunset Ranch has a very rustic and earthy feel to it, so it paired nicely with the overall theme of our wedding. We greatly appreciated the level of professionalism and communication throughout our journey. Thank you again Sunset Ranch!!!

We LOVED having our wedding at Sunset Ranch! The moment we stepped foot on property we saw how beautiful it was and immediately knew we had to have our wedding here. We decided to go with one of their packages they offer, which was honestly one of the best decisions we could have made. It came with so many things including are wonderful and amazing wedding coordinator Alia! Alia was so helpful throughout the whole process from picking vendors, to finalizing details, to our rehearsal, to day off. Alia was flexible and her team really delivered on the vision we had for our entire day. It was because of her that we were able to really enjoy our whole Wedding day with NO stress. Alia was our blessing throughout the Wedding process and we could not have done it without her or her team.To anyone who is contemplating picking this venue; just do it! You will not regret it. Every single cent we spent was 100% worth it. And now we can remember this perfect day for the rest of our lives. We could not recommend Sunset Ranch any more!

We held our wedding at Sunset Ranch in their outdoor “Ferns Garden and Charlie’s Pond” area and it was everything we could have asked for. The venue exceeded our expectations and our guests still talk about how amazing and beautiful the venue was. We were all extra amazed at how beautiful the view of sunset was and how great it was for pictures! It really lived up to the name of Sunset Ranch. After we choose Sunset Ranch for our venue we selected their standard package to get the help of Alia and her team to plan every detail. Alia was the most amazing coordinator and we’re so thankful for everything she did! She went above and beyond at helping us get the wedding of our dreams and was the most calming presence on the day of our wedding. We can’t recommend Sunset Ranch and Alia enough!

Sunset Ranch is a dream! The views are just breathtaking - we have received so many compliments on this venue from our guests. The venue is very well maintained and has everything you need: a beautiful chapel for you to get ready in, wedding decors in different styles, and most importantly a highly professional team. I would recommend using their package, especially if you are planning for a destination wedding like we did. They have pre-selected vendors and your planner will contact/communicate with most vendors for you.Ronda is our planner and she is WONDERFUL! She was so kind and always keep our needs in mind. I told her I wanted to stay in budget and so she came up with many gorgeous and creative ideas to control costs. We had a hard time finding sparklers on the island. She happened to have some left at the venue and gifted them to us. The Sunset Ranch team was cheerful and took good care of us and our guests on the wedding day. We truly had our best time there :)A few things to keep in mind for the fellow couples:1. The venue package includes minimal floral expenses. Luckily the venue itself is beautiful enough that you don't need a lot of flowers. But if you want to have big floral decors (on arch, tables, etc), that will likely cost you a few thousands on top of the package price. 2. Three venders missed/messed up some of our requests on the wedding day. I am not sure if it's miscommunication between the planner and the vendors. So, if you have special requests for the vendors, I would remind them directly the day before your wedding day to avoid issues. 3. The venue planner is not a full-time planner. They usually have plenty of weddings to work on at the same time. It's possible that you won't get a lot of attention or quick responds at the beginning. But don't stress because the planner will focus on you and respond a lot quicker as your wedding date gets closer.

Sunset Ranch was a great venue for our late October 2022 wedding. Their package scheme allowed us to pull together our 25 person destination wedding in 6 months from initial contact to wedding day (on a Thursday) and the beautiful and relaxed environment provided exactly the intimate outdoor vibe we were looking for. Our event coordinator Ronda was great at offering options and helping us weigh them for tailoring the decor, events, and food. Ronda was even able to provide free upgrades (we were very lucky) and flourishes from her home. On the day of, Ronda and the other staff were positive, professional, and efficient. The vendors that Sunset Ranch works with all provided high quality products - the musician, DJ, officiant, floral, food, bartenders, cake, and rentals were all great quality. The only downside is that at some point in our planning and arranging we and Sunset Ranch both fell a little bit behind schedule on some deadlines, this added a little bit of extra stress, but it all came together beautifully in the end!

Words cannot express how beautiful this place is!While searching for the perfect place to have our wedding our last stop was Sunset Ranch and let me tell you we were blown away! The ocean views and the ranch itself was amazing. We changed our wedding date just to have this venue. We had our ceremony in Ferns garden, which was breath taking and looked amazing in pictures. We had our cocktail hour at the pound, which was perfect for my guests to mingle and take photos. We decided to upgrade and have our reception in the barn and let me tell you… it was so worth it! We had a wonderful wedding planner who was the best her name is Ronda Habecker. I don’t think we could of gone through this process without her! Ronda definitely made the wedding of our dreams come to life! She was so easy to work and I wouldn’t want anyone else planning our wedding! She is creative and will help you as much as she can! If you’re looking to wow your guests as well as yourself this is the place to book!

My husband and I could rave about this venue all day! Let's just say, Sunset Ranch knows how to make your wedding unforgettable!!! My husband and I and all of our guests had the absolute MOST amazing time. I can't tell you how many compliments we received from all of our friends and family on the wedding, Sunset Ranch, and their incredible team.We booked the venue sight unseen. It's a long story but we only had 4.5 months to pull our 80 person wedding together and they made everything happen perfectly! Luckily, Alia (who was our coordinator but there are a few) was available every step of the way to answer all of our questions and point us in the right direction even for things that were not connected to the actual wedding day at Sunset Ranch but were part of our wedding weekend. For example, we coordinated a private yoga event through one of her connections and we planned a beach day where she had a great suggestion for rentals for that. The venue is beautiful in and of itself and once all of the wedding decor comes in it is truly SPECTACULAR. It transforms from being naturally beautiful to this combination of elegant/glamorous/natural/magical beauty. Sunset Ranch - Thank you so, so, SO much for all your work with us these past few months. We are so grateful that we found this hidden gem up in Pupukea for our wedding. The moment we did a tour here, we knew that Sunset Ranch was the one for us. Our first few priorities were to have a venue that’s disability friendly (as the groom’s mother uses a wheelchair), a venue with adequate getting ready/resting space, a venue that is naturally beautiful (more natural beauty means less need to over-decorate), and has a fantastic view. Sunset Ranch not only offers these things, but it also offers such a peaceful, romantic, private, and serene vibe that literally transports you and your guests into another world. Our ceremony area, The Fern’s Garden, was like a tropical romantic fairytale, with tall luscious trees (read: shade for you and your guests!) and the BEST lighting anyone could ever ask for as the sunlight just peeks beautifully through the trees during the afternoon. Our guests couldn’t stop saying how beautiful our wedding was! The view of the sunset over the hill that overlooks Waimea Bay was so dreamy during our sunset photos. They also had two guest suites with a bed, a bathroom, a vanity, and a shower, which was perfect for getting ready and for our guests with kids to take a break in. The chapel was also such a perfect space for me and my bridesmaids to take getting ready photos. Greg and all of his staff members are very professional and even though we didn’t end up booking their wedding packages, we still felt like we were taken care of, especially after some hiccups that happened with one of their preferred vendors. We are so grateful to be able to host our wedding at such a beautiful venue!

Sunset Ranch is a dream come true -- run, don't walk, to this venue and book it for your wedding! We booked this venue sight unseen during the pandemic for our destination wedding, and it was the best decision we made. First, the people that work there are amazing -- super kind, professional, timely, and just all-around great. Alia was our planner, and she was the most thoughtful, kind, calm person throughout the whole process. Our original wedding date (Sep-21) was postponed due to Covid-19, and she was reassuring during my panicked phone calls, and seamlessly moved everything to our new date in Jan-22 without skipping a beat. All of the staff the day of our wedding itself were so nice, helpful, and it really felt like they were happy for us! As far as the venue itself, it is stunning -- with gorgeous views of the ocean, beautiful sunsets, and tons of space to make it your own. Fern's Garden (where our ceremony took place) is like a dream - with tall, knotted trees, massive foliage, and the sun peeking through the branches. The venue offers such easy-to-customize packages -- for example, we didn't want a wedding cake, we did gelato instead, and it was super easy to make that adjustment. Basically, you can be as hands on or hands off with the planning as you'd like, which took a giant load off our shoulders. The actual day of our wedding was stress-free, seamless, and so much fun. We didn't worry about a thing, and it was beyond our wildest dreams. :) I would strongly recommend Sunset Ranch to anyone seeking a gorgeous venue with amazing staff for their special day!

When my husband and I got engaged, we set out to find our perfect venue. We visited several different venues in Hawai’i, but when we went to Sunset Ranch… we knew we had found the one. Laurie was our guide and she was extremely thorough and very pleasant to work with. She took the time to answer all of our questions and we didn’t feel rushed at all! We also had great communication with the President, Greg who was very kind and helpful.Sunset Ranch is the absolute perfect venue. First off, it’s a private ranch so once you book your wedding day, you get the ENTIRE ranch to yourself. Second, you can book ala carte or a package (standard or signature) and can customize the package as much or as little as you want, so if there’s a specific vendor you want to use you can do so or else you can use their preferred vendors who are all amazing. We decided to go for a standard package and got Laurie as our planner… yay! I highly recommend going with the package since they take care of so many things for you. I showed up rehearsal and wedding day fully expecting to be stressing and/or putting together last minute things and coordinating details with vendors, but no… Laurie and her staff took care of EVERYTHING and told me not to worry about a thing. It was the most stress free and enjoyable wedding that I didn’t even know was possible! The staff are super attentive, professional, and friendly. Third, the views at the ranch are incredible. Just look at the pictures! I think they speak for themselves.Anyway, I can’t say enough great things about the venue, our wedding planner Laurie, and the amazing staff/vendors. The attention to detail, flexibility, price point, and professionalism are just a few of the reasons we would highly recommend this venue to any newly engaged couple.

Sunset Ranch is such a beautiful and versatile venue. You have so many options on what you can do whether it’s planning your wedding on your own or going with their package options. I HIGHLY recommend booking one of their package options. First of all, it saves you so much stress because you’ll have your own coordinator. Alia was just spectacular, especially throughout the pandemic. There have been so many challenges we’ve had to face during these times, but Alia has been on top of everything all the way through. With their package, they have AMAZING preferred vendors (all local btw). After our big day, it was easy to see that they partner with only the best, giving you your perfect wedding celebration. Their vendors were so professional and their work was of the best quality. We’ve received many compliments on the venue, the staff, the service, and how everything was just exceptional. I can’t thank Alia, Greg, and the rest of the team enough for being able to deliver such a beautiful night that we wish to relive every day. Everything was absolutely worth it!

We have been working with Alia and Greg at Sunset Ranch from early 2020 to have a successful wedding on 12/11/2021. Alia was an amazing coordinator and we highly recommend her, her team, and Sunset Ranch as a venue and here are a few reasons why:First, trust us when we say that Sunset Ranch as a venue is absolutely stunning and there is no place on Oahu (or in Hawaii) quite like it. It was entirely worth the drive and some extra coordination of shuttles to hold our event there, and we have zero regrets! Second, they allow you to customize as much or as little as you like, making it easy on the couple. We ended up choosing a package which really took the heavy lifting off of us, and were still able to customize many pieces such as our own flowers and officiant, to make our wedding our own. We were able to include our dog in our wedding as our Dog of Honor / Ring Bear-er, which was something no other venue could offer, but was so important and special to us. And finally, Alia has been nothing but professional and a pillar of support, giving us reassurance and guidance as the state went through its various stages of the pandemic, along with the many usual trials and tribulations of regular wedding planning. I'm sure if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic they would have still been great, but Alia went over and beyond to ease our fears as the state and county went through lockdown, tiered reopening, continued shutdown of weddings, to reopening again, and finally quickly pivoting the site of our reception from outdoor to indoor due to heavy rains, adjusting to late vendors, and basically doing what coordinators do to take as much off of the bride/ groom as possible on their wedding day. We can't even convey how grateful we are to Alia to have met her and worked with her for the past year. We highly recommend Alia and Sunset Ranch to any couple who wants a similar experience and a beautiful, stress free, and memorable wedding day.

From planning that stretched two years and the accommodations due to the pandemic, Alia and the Sunset Ranch team put an incredible amount of care and consideration into our wedding. It is no exaggeration to say that without the planning and coordination from Alia, we would not have been able to have the wedding as fantastic as it was and enjoy every moment of it. Leading up to and on the day of the wedding, Alia was our anchor; no matter what questions or concerns we had, she had the answers, she was able to keep us calm, and we were able to fully enjoy our wedding. Our wedding at Sunset Ranch was such a dream come true. We booked this vendor after we had to postpone our wedding in 2020. When we scheduled a visit, communication from all staff members were great. Every single person we came into contact with was so friendly and inviting. I met the Owner, Greg and he made us feel right at home. Sunset Ranch has so many options to book them. We used their wedding package and let me tell you, it is worth all the money! It comes with everything! Our coordinator, Laurie Caty, she was amazing! From start to finish, her communication with me was on point! During our one on one meeting and rehearsal, she was so fun to work with. The day of our wedding, she did an amazing job with everything that happened that day. The venue was even more beautiful with everything that I had planned with Laurie. It was more than a dream. I love this venue so much! I will for sure be coming back and visiting Sunset Ranch again!!! I suggest you all take a look at this place and book here! You will not be disappointed! Just like many reviews before this one, Sunset Ranch venue is amazing! If you are looking for an unforgettable wedding, then this location marks all the check boxes. Our guests enjoyed everything this scenic venue had to offer. Pure bliss and serenity when you see the sun meet the ocean. We’re glad to have chosen the available packages offered by Sunset Ranch. The entire establishment, from the owner, coordinator and vendors were fantastic to work with. They addressed all our questions in a prompt and courteous manner. Communication was critical, given we are Californians and only visited twice before the Big Day. Fact: Stress is inevitable on your wedding. Luckily, Laurie was our wedding coordinator! She has managed countless events and will ensure your program runs smoothly as possible. From the initial consultation, Laurie provided us comfort and confidence in her ability to manage a huge event with many moving parts. After your bridal party attends the wedding rehearsal then you’re 99% almost there. The remaining 1% is enjoying “Your Wedding”!

The venue was an absolute dream! I would definitely recommend having the reception outside by the pond with a gorgeous sail tent and lots of lush greenery. All of our guests couldn’t stop gushing over how beautiful the venue was. Further, the outdoor set up created the perfect flow so that the guests always felt like they were part of the party. Laurie and Greg were fantastic and super flexible when we decided to move our date from March 2020 —> Feb 2021 —-> July 2021 (due to the pandemic). Having Laurie coordinate everything on the day of the wedding was amazing. With the exception of my dad’s (self-made) dress shoe mishap the day went of without a hitch and created countless memories for me and my husband.

My wife and I planned our February wedding from Shanghai at Sunset Ranch and have nothing but positive remarks about communication, service, and presentation. First off, communicating with Laurie and Gregg was very easy through email as their response time was usually next-day. They were very accomodating for everything we requested. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I wanted to choose a location that naturally allowed people to wander, socialize, and take pictures. We couldn't have been more pleased with having the ceremony in the Fern's Garden and then enjoying the sunset in the meadow. Also, the barn was a great place for dinner. The giant doors that open to beautiful chandeliers couldn't have been more picturesque. Overall, my wife and I were very happy with everything at Sunset Ranch.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Sunset Ranch is the best wedding venue in OAHU. While venue searching, sunset ranch was obviously our top choice (can't say no to the breathtaking VIEW this venue has!!) and without any hesitation, we booked the venue right away! We had our ceremony at the Fern Gardens and our Reception at Charlie's Pond. The SUNSET here is breathtaking, our wedding photos turned out so beautiful :)We did our wedding ala carte and availed their event coordination. Our wedding was the best day our lives- THANKS TO LAURIE & HER TEAM! Laurie did NOT treat us like we were \"just another\" client. She helped us through every step and her dedication & hard work were truly astounding! She listened and accommodated my requests. She also had a lot of excellent suggestions that made our wedding even more prettier <3 We will be forever grateful for her and sunset ranch in making our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. :) I recommend if you book sunset ranch as your venue to get their event coordinaton- I promise you will not regret it!!!

Sunset Ranch was beyond amazing! You don't have to look any further for a wedding venue, pick up the phone and call Alia to save your date. Our friends and family (especially my mom) we’re blown away by how beautifully smooth our wedding day looked and felt all thanks to the hard work of Alia. She is very organized, transparent, open to new ideas and made our wedding better than what we could’ve dreamed of (plus stress free). And the venue itself is breathtaking! It was a beautiful very private wedding in the gardens with ocean view. All of my family came from another country and they were mesmerized by the location. We opted for a package with everything included and we had zero stress about the wedding. The food was delicious, the guava cake was amazing, the flowers breathtaking, and the setting just perfect. Alia made sure to help us stick to our budget and still have an unforgettable wedding. Nearly every guest made it a point to let us know how impressed they were with the service they received from the staff. Mahalo to the staff. Also, thanks to the setting and location the pictures turned out beautifully, we are so happy with the results. Sunset Ranch is a spactacular venue with breadth taking views of the ocean. Everyone at the venue was so helpful and just amazing. Our wedding was suppose to be at the Fern's garden (out door) but it started raining, so our Coordinator Laurie, moved us into the cutest little chapel at the last minute. It was rustic, intimate, and everything we wanted. It also rained during the reception (outside tent) but she made everything work. All of our guest enjoyed the view of the ocean, Laurie our coordinator was calm and cool through out the whole thing, she was my rock all the way up till the end. If you are looking for an imitate, romantic, rustic wedding this is your spot. It was so pretty, pictures look amazing, view, food, music was everything we have been looking for. My husband and I are so happy!

This venue offers everything a wedding ceremony and reception would need and more. Absolutely stunning areas to get ready in, have an outdoor or indoor ceremony, a cocktail hour for guests to enjoy games by the pond, and an absolutely stunning barn for the reception. My husband and I were looking online for a venue, from England and we were really nervous about planning it so far away, but our wedding coordinator (Laurie) and the owner (Greg) were impeccable in the service and fulfilling our requests. The venue itself was so beautiful and did not need many extra decorations and there were so many places available to take pictures. All of the vendors were timely and professional and they have been vetted for their service by sunset ranch. We were so pleased and we will be visiting our tree that we were able to plant on site, in the future. If you love supporting purposeful business, this is a great spot. They help special needs children during the week to work with their horses. An absolutely amazing place with amazing people! 10 out of 10!

Sunset Ranch was the first of 3 venues I was supposed to see the day I went scouting. As soon as I saw this place I said forget the rest this was my venue! I instantly fell in love with everything about this place. The views of the 30 acres of beautiful land. The mountains and the ocean that line the backdrop I can't say enough about how beautiful this place is. After we met with Laurie we felt even better! She was so professional but in a casual comfortable way and so nice to talk to. We couldn't have done it without her guidance. If you have any doubts just schedule a visit and I'm sure you'll change your mind. GET MARRIED HERE!! We had the most perfect day with the absolute best weather and the most INCREDIBLE sunset to highlight our perfect day!

10 stars! Laurie our wedding coordinator, Greg and the rest of the staff/vendors were amazing. Super helpful, super professional, and super knowledgable of their venue and how to throw perfect weddings! Other than making the final decisions, there was virtually no planning or coordinating on our parts since we went with the package deal. Totally worth it! The food, desserts and floral arrangements were all included in the package and none of them disappointed in the least. There was no stress or worries for either myself or my beautiful bride. The venue itself is simply stunning, no matter where on property you are. We both live here in Hawaii and still can't think of a better place to have had our wedding. We had our ceremony at Sunset Meadows with the beautiful tree and ocean in the background. And our reception at Charlie's Pond with the most perfect view of the amazing sunset over the sapphire blue Pacific Ocean. I would honestly renew my vows here every year if I could! Everything was top notch. 100%. The majority of our guests told us that it was the most spectacular venue they've ever seen, with the best service they've ever had. Everything went smoother than we could've ever imagined! Book this venue! You will not be disappointed!

We live in Australia and thought that the process of organising an overseas wedding would be daunting and stressful but Laurie from Sunset Ranch took all of the pressure off. She translated everything that we asked for and then worked with the vendors to make it even better than we had hoped for. She was professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Laurie was incredible on the day of the wedding. She took complete control and everything ran smoothly, even when we made some last minute changes on the day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with!!! The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The photos do not do it justice!! We would highly recommend a wedding at Sunset Ranch!!!

We had the most beautiful wedding at Sunset Ranch and could not be happier with every single detail of the day. For having never seen the venue, and organising the whole thing from Australia, we could not believe how amazing it all was. My husband did not want a standard resort wedding, so I did a lot of research, and am so glad I found Sunset Ranch online. From our initial consult with Laurie she was very helpful and provided us with so much information and answered all our questions. We ended up picking a Package Coordination plan and we would highly recommend this, particularly if you are off island. The booking process was easy through Greg who was very professional and responded to emails and calls promptly. The planning of the wedding was actually so much fun! Laurie kept me right on track, confirming one detail at a time, and always responding to my millions of emails very quickly. She was upfront regarding costs and the budget the entire way through so there were no surprises once the final bill came through. On the day things were perfect. The venue is out of this world beautiful and Laurie and her whole team went above and beyond to make us feel so special throughout the day. All the guests commented on how the timing of the day was perfect and things ran smoothly. We had lots of rain showers during the day and Laurie timed things so well to get the ceremony and lawn games outside in the gaps of rain. The vendors that had been organised were all amazing- florals, transport, celebrant, musician, bar staff and DJ. We also organised a videographer and photo booth who were awesome as well. And the food! Wow the dinner and dessert was great! We had so many compliments on how delicious it was and we loved that they packaged us up our leftovers. Overall, it was a dream process. We highly recommend Sunset Ranch as a venue for a wedding. It has so many beautiful, unique locations on site, which are great sites for the ceremony, reception and photos. The coordination package made life very easy. We had so much say in what we wanted but didn’t have to do the individual liaising with vendors. Having someone in charge on the day made the whole event stress free. We would not change a single thing about our wedding day and are forever thankful to the beautiful Sunset Ranch.

I cannot express how much gratitude I have for Sunset Ranch and all the staff. My husband and I took months deciding on a venue. We didn't want a traditional wedding at a Waikiki hotel, although that would have probably been more convenient. We wanted something more private and unique and we are so happy we picked the right place! Greg was so warm and helpful throughout the whole process, understanding that planning an event like a wedding can be extremely stressful and time-consuming. We had a million questions and he was patient in responding to us.We went with the all-inclusive package as we live in NYC and could not arrange to pick and choose all of our vendors. It worked out perfectly for us as it came with the help of a wedding coordinator. Greg paired us with Leila (huge shout out to Leila!) who was THE BEST! Our original plan was to have the ceremony at Sunset Meadow, cocktail hour at Fern's Garden, and the reception at the stables. However our wedding coincided with Hurricane Lane which changed everything. Leila worked tirelessly with the vendors; 2 days before our scheduled wedding date, we moved the wedding up by more than 27 hours. It was one of the most stressful events we've experienced- coordinating with our guests (some missed most of the wedding or all of the wedding completely), but Leila remained calm throughout the process and made sure we had a beautiful wedding. The ceremony got moved to the courtyard area so it was still outdoors (only some rain). The cocktail hour was around the same area with some cover. We had a tea ceremony in the chapel- lighting was so beautiful. Everyone had so much fun and needless to say, it was a truly memorable experience. We will always have so much love for SR.

Sunset Ranch was the perfect venue for our destination wedding! We toured a few venues in Oahu and when we set foot on the Ranch's property we knew it was the right location for our dream wedding. The pieces that made this venue stand apart from the others were the package options with preferred vendors, the attentive coordinator and owner, and of course the views! Our coordinator, Laurie, was incredibly helpful throughout the year leading up to our wedding. She was great at communicating and helping us plan our vision, and she executed it flawlessly. The wedding was just as beautiful as I had dreamed, and the Sunset Ranch team made sure everything went smoothly - and it did!

She also made time for my mom, uncle and grandparents to visit the venue when they were visiting Hawaii back in April. It was also, great to meet her in person during our site visit in June. Being from the mainland and doing all the planning in LA, Leila paid close attention to all our details and requests and we were blown away by the flowers and overall presentation of our wedding. It was everything we were hoping for and more! On the day of the wedding Leila and her team made sure that everything was ready to go. We did not have to worry about anything. Every detail was taken care of, down to the packing and loading of leftover alcohol/food, and guest book items into the appropriate cars and shuttles. It is such a great feeling to look back on our wedding and know that everything went seamlessly and we did not have to stress about anything. Our family and friends had the time of their lives and it is a day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are so thankful to Greg, Leila, the sunset ranch staff, and vendors for helping create our magical day!

Sunset Ranch is a gem. I always knew I wanted to get married on a ranch because of my love for the outdoors and animals. We are so lucky to have found this venue. It was the ONLY venue we looked at for our wedding. It's true when they say, \"when you know, you just know.\" The exclusive access to the ranch from 9-9pm was a major win and also the gorgeous backdrops and surrounding views of this location. Having the ranch to ourselves made us feel like it was our home which made it much more intimate. It is a ranch that sits on top of a mountain overlooking the ocean, horse pastures, and valleys. We are from Oahu but we are townies and so was the majority of our guests. Our guests were blown away because we all have never been to a ranch wedding. Sunset Ranch is 1.5 hours away from our home so going out to the country side was something different and we wanted to stay far away from the congested Waikiki hotel areas. Communication with the staff was also important because of our distance and not having any experience with a ranch wedding ever. Laurie was so good and so patient with answering my MANY questions! I felt at ease as the day approached. Sweet Carina was the venue manager on the day of and she melted all of our problems away. When my bridesmaids and I arrived we saw directional signs, wedding signs, and even lawn games already set up. It was a sweet surprise and it was so thoughtful for her to set those up. Our ceremony took place at Sunset Vista and our backdrop is to die for. The ocean and horse pasture backdrop is simply beautiful! Our reception took place in Sunset Stables and I cannot say enough how fun it was to totally dress this place up to my style. It's a beautiful blank canvas! There are two suites available for the wedding party to use on property and it was so so helpful. We all got ready there. There is a shower and everything in there to make you feel at home. The beauty of this place is that you're able to use the different sites for the whole day. There's a garden, pond area, stable, little chapel, courtyard, and so much more. Our guests loved walking around during sunset and pupu hour. Again, that's the beauty of this venue, it's all yours! Not to mention, the photo opportunities here are endless. This place is surrounded by beautiful views. We even got to take pictures with Mascot Huey (one of their horses) and you can just tell by the photos how beautiful he is. The ambiance, views, and location meant everything to us and Sunset Ranch captured all. My husband and I are very lucky to call Sunset Ranch our special place and we'll cherish the memories for years to come.

Where to begin! Sunset Ranch was the most beautiful venue we could have asked for. The pictures don't do it near enough justice! The amount of greenery at the ranch is incredible and the views overlooking the Pacific Ocean were spectacular. We were planning a destination wedding so not being as hands on as we would have liked, we had to trust the team at Sunset Ranch and they did not disappoint. Greg, Leila, and Vanessa were awesome! My now-husband and I are from San Francisco and had our wedding at Sunset Ranch this past June. I had found the venue last year on the know after we had seen a couple of venues in the bay area and realized how expensive it would be. Sunset Ranch seemed perfect as it offered multiple packages that included most everything (e.g. catering, cake, rentals, DJ, wedding coordination). After visiting the venue, we fell in love with it immediately. The venue was exactly was we had envisioned for our wedding day. The site offered a number of locations where you could have your ceremony and reception. We chose Fern's Garden for the beautiful backdrop and Charlie's Pond for the reception. Laurie was our coordinator from Sunset Ranch. She was wonderful to work with, always responsive and really gave us peace of mind on our wedding day! Our wedding day went off without a hitch and really was the best day!

I got married at Sunset Ranch in June and let me start out by saying the venue is absolutely breathtaking! I love that we were able to utilize multiple areas of the venue and highlight all of the beauty this place has to offer. From the beginning Greg and Laurie were friendly and professional, very quick to problem solve and very attentive to our wants. We chose a package deal because once you add up the a la cart fee plus the rental company and required coordinator, its cheaper just to let them take charge of it all. Laurie was my coordinator and I think my only tiny complaint was that I had to repeat myself a few times in emails but I'd rather repeat myself and get everything right than have a coordinator who overlooks details. On our wedding day things went wrong as they always do and Laurie and her assistants were right there with plans and back-up plans and they weren't stressed which made us not stress either. The package deal made my job of planning so easy and I could rave about their preferred vendors for days. I never had to worry about finding the right officiant or dj, they know all of the right people! That was a big relief since we had less than 6 months to plan as well. I would recommend Sunset Ranch in a heartbeat.

Choosing Sunset Ranch was the best wedding decision we made! Not only was the location P-E-R-F-E-C-T for our wedding, but the time and care that we received prior, during, and even after booking with them has been wonderful. From when we did our first site visit and meeting with the owner Greg, we just knew Sunset Ranch was going to be great for us. The privacy, the natural beauty, and their efforts to maintain and sustain the land were all such beautiful elements that we were so happy to have as part of our wedding. Greg was also awesome in sharing his vision for the property, which made it more special for us to know it is more than just hosting weddings. The horses, the bees, the trees -- everything had a purpose and a story. We were just so happy that we could share our own story there as well.T he packages offered were also so helpful for a busy and non-wedding educated couple like us that made the process SO much easier. The bonus is that the vendors on this list were all EXCELLENT. We can confidently say that all of them were the best in their industries as their work and professionalism proved it to be true. It has been weeks since our wedding and our families and friends still talk about how beautiful Sunset Ranch and the wedding was! Our families from out of town have even shared with their workmates and friends how they loved the location, the food, and even the coordination was top notch. This is all thanks to the wonderful work of Sunset Ranch!

The good: Sunset Ranch is a nice location for a wedding, unique style and natural beauty. Leila, our second-assigned coordinator was very understanding and paid quick attention to detail. We really enjoyed working with her. The bad: Pictures of advertised wedding venue on sunset ranch website is actually $10k more than listed price which is a separate charge from the hefty ranch rental and required coordinator cost. So don't be so quick to fall in love. In addition when paying for the final invoice Owner/Operator Greg and his staff seem to be incapable of assembling final invoices resulting in lots of wasted time over emails, texts, and calls trying to clarify what the total actually is. We didn't mind the price however we didn't like the fact they kept increasing and changing the pricing. The Ugly: Laurie was very unprofessional via email, rescheduling our first visit the day before we were supposed to arrive. Once we finally got to the ranch she showed us around. Our interactions with her were uncomfortable and awkward. For some reason she told us that sunset ranch was lucky to get tax breaks which lets them save money and increase profits by getting a land conservation agreement with the state of Hawaii. It came off as Sunset Ranch as being a kind of scummy business for taking advantage of the state of Hawaii while making money hand over fist. Anyway, sunset ranch is easy to fall in love with because of the location. Without all the behind-the-scene ugliness, I still view my wedding as one of the beautiful days ever.

We decided to visit Sunset Ranch after hearing about it from a friend. Our first steps on the property had us dreaming already. The pictures you'll see online don't do it justice. Schedule a tour with them if you're at all considering this venue. Though only an hour out of town, the seclusion up at the top of Pupukea makes you feel like you're on your own private island. It's quiet, serene and expansive. The staff were so helpful as well. We aren't the best planners, but with their help we were able to design our perfect wedding.We actually forfeited a deposit with a hotel that we were originally going to go with. Couldn't be happier in the end.

My husband and I just got married in December 2017 at Sunset Ranch. We live in Colorado and we never saw the venue until the rehearsal. We strictly went off of reviews and photos. We worked with Leila, and she was absolutely wonderful. We didn't realize that it was stormy the last few weeks up to our wedding, so unfortunately, it was a little rainy and wet during the rehearsal. We pretty much figured it would rain the next day, and Leila calmly reassured us that there was a backup plan. Fortunately enough, the next day, the day of our wedding, it was a beautiful 70 degrees and the sun was shining perfectly on our day. The setting was perfect, you could see the ocean and the horses and the bright green landscape. Everything came together and Leila was there the whole time. I do not know how anyone can plan a wedding without a planner. Even from the beginning, Leila kept me up to date with a to-do list and helped me make sure I had everything. I felt so bad because even while she was on vacation, she answered any questions we had. Of course there was family drama when it came to decisions, and Leila was just so awesome to help ease tension with certain members who would be very vocal. She was extremely accommodating and even reached out to vendors if she felt they were slow to respond. Also, the food was amazing. From the appetizers to the buffet, all the guests could not stop talking about the food, the location, and the wedding. And OMG. the cake! The cake was delicious - we went with the Lilikoi flavor, and it was soo good. I highly recommend Sunset Ranch and Leila. They really made our day so special and perfect, as we blindly planned from out of state.

She was responsive and extremely helpful during the planning stages; when we met her on the day, she was warm, attentive and always had a smile on her face. The location was absolutely stunning with rolling green hills, lush trees and plants, and beautiful horses all around. The food was delicious and plentiful, all served in front of an amazing view of the sun setting across the pastures. It was the perfect for our intimate wedding and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Sunset Ranch and the venue (throughout the planning process up until our wedding day) could not have been more perfect.After our initial engagement we immediately decided on having the wedding in Hawaii. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up on Oahu and wanted to have our ceremony in nature with local vendors to highlight the beauty of my home state. Sunset Ranch did not disappoint us.We initially had our venue narrowed down to four choices. Of the four, only Sunset Ranch treated us, not as a number, but rather as a happy couple. Greg, the owner was extremely professional (answering our emails and calls promptly) and personable. The mission of the place (local, organic and service) really appealed to me and my husband (we both work in healthcare and have a strong appreciation for giving back to the community). The fact that Sunset Ranch, when not used as wedding venue, is also a place that raises horses and provides therapy to children, really appealed to the two of us.Over the course of a year of preparation for our big day, the staff continued to be very supportive and professional. Leila, our wedding coordinator, treated us as friends, rather than another number. Like Greg, she promptly and professionally returned calls and emails, and both my husband and I felt that the Sunset Ranch staff was there for us in an effort to make our day go as smoothly as possible. We took advantage of the wedding package (which we both highly recommend). The vendors were fantastic, and the packages offer the most options for the greatest price. The wedding day went very smoothly thanks in no small part to Leila and her staff. Even after the wedding, we were sent a congratulatory follow-up email the following week.If you are looking for a beautiful venue, with a wonderful supportive staff, with wonderful local vendors, I highly recommend Sunset Ranch as a place to have your wedding!

I can't recommend Sunset Ranch highly enough. Not only is it gorgeous, but the people are wonderful to work with. Greg, the owner, was unbelievably accommodating when we had to change our wedding date because of my dad's health. At a time that was super stressful for me, Greg made sure to let me know that he and Sunset Ranch would not be something I had to worry about. Every email I sent was responded to extremely quickly. They were one of the easiest companies to work with for our wedding. The ranch itself is gorgeous. It feels as if you and your guests are the only people on the island. Carina, the events manager, was extremely responsive and absolutely wonderful on our wedding day. We had a combined Indian/Christian wedding, which was a new experience for Sunset Ranch, but at no point did they seem flustered or hesitant with anything we threw at them. We used two of their horses in the pre-ceremony rituals and Carina was great about working with us. They even decorated our horse's bridles with flowers for the big day! The weather was also spectacular; early September (when it could be very hot) and it was breezy, cool, with some clouds to cover the strong sun in the afternoon.Bottom line: we had the best day we possibly could, and Sunset Ranch was a huge part of that. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sunset Ranch was the first and only venue we visited when planning our wedding. We knew as soon as we saw it that it was where we wanted to get married. You can't beat the view of the mountains and the ocean, the beautiful grassy hills with the horses, and the steady breeze. The grounds are expansive and you can choose from several different sites to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Greg, the owner, gave us our initial tour. He was in no rush and was very genuine, personable, and truly cared about the in-depth history of the property.We decided to go with the 30 day coordination that they offer, and we're really glad we did. Our coordinator was Leila and, like Greg, you could tell that she wanted to give us the best experience possible. Even though we chose 30 day coordination, she was there every step of the way and was very easy to get in contact with, whether by phone, email or text message. She was good at answering our questions and offering suggestions based on our needs and budget. Thanks to her planning, the wedding day was perfect and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We would highly recommend Sunset Ranch to anyone who is wanting to get married in Hawaii. We would do it over again in a heartbeat!

Sunset Ranch was such an amazing venue. You get the entire property from 9AM-9PM, so many locations to choose from for ceremony/reception, and holy moly is it beautiful! Dania Weinberg (the wedding coordinator I worked with) was AMAZING. She handled everything so perfectly and made sure we weren't stressed on the big day. The entire staff from caterers to waitstaff were so polite and great at their jobs. Greg, the owner, is quick to respond to questions and accomodating for changes to the contract. We did the all inclusive package which saved me a lot of headache. All the vendors chosen who work with SR are fantastic (Chef Elmer and Mimosa Bake Shoppe - ugh so good).Overall, we couldn't have chosen a more wonderful venue or more wonderful staff for our wedding day. I feel so fortunate to have had our wedding at Sunset Ranch. We married in ferns garden and then had the reception at Charlie's pond. It was absolutely beautiful and elegant. One of the main comments we received from guests was that it was the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to! We decided to do a package deal. I am so incredibly thankful we chose this option. Leila, our coordinator, was so helpful. My wedding was gorgeous and she made the planning process so much easier. We chose to have lawn games and people loved the activities! We had over 80 guests fly in from the Midwest and really wanted to give our guests a Hawaii experience that they wouldn’t forget. We toured Sunset Ranch in 2016 and I just knew that we would have our wedding there. The views, the staff, the landscape are so beyond amazing. I cannot speak highly enough about Carina, Greg, and the rest of the Sunset Ranch staff. They are so professional, yet make you feel like family, and want to help you feel at ease with the entire wedding planning process. Carina was so responsive to all of my questions and concerns and so friendly! She was a joy to work with. She is great at her job and her attention to detail is exactly what you need on your wedding day. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the Fern Garden and our reception at Charlie’s Pond. The Fern Garden provided plenty of shade for our guests and we had an amazing sunset for dinner. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the cool breeze and perfect weather. The view, the location, the staff, the land, is just so perfect for a wedding. We had the most amazing day and our guests were over the moon. I would highly recommend Sunset Ranch to anyone planning an event in Hawaii!

My wedding was an absolute dream!! I found Sunset Ranch while searching for venues on The Knot. I was having a hard time deciding if a destination wedding was actually what I wanted. Usually when you think of \"destination wedding\" you think of those typical all-inclusive hotel weddings and that's definitely not what I wanted! I love Hawaii specifically for its beautiful landscapes and spectacular sunsets and I wanted to make sure I got that when I picked a venue. In comes Sunset Ranch! Wow! I mean I knew it was going to be beautiful just from the few photos/videos I stalked on their website, Instagram and youtube but when you get there and you see it in person, it's a whole different level! Match that with the great staff and kind owner and you literally have the perfect venue! I am so glad I found Sunset Ranch and had the most magical wedding ever.

Having our wedding at Sunset Ranch was the best decision we could have ever made. From our first call with Greg to the tour to the actual event...it was everything we could have ever dreamed of. I mean, how cool is it that you can do a petting zoo and a ranch tour at your wedding?! Not to mention, you can't beat (or pay) for those views. Did I mention that we also got to plant a native Hawaiian Koa Tree as part of our experience?The most important part of this experience was working with Greg and Carina. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about the both of them. Since you are planning one of the most stressful events of your life, it is nice to know that you have the right support to help get you to the end of that finish line. Carina was there from beginning to end of this experience. She is so good at what she does that she immediately puts you at ease. I can honestly tell you now that I sent a few pictures of what I envisions for my wedding via Pinterest and she magically turned the night into a personalized experience that was inspired by those images. Who else can do something like that but a professional and expert?!We knew the minute we walked on the property that this was our place we would start forever. Leila at Sunset Ranch is really a phenomenal wedding planner. She was very responsive to emails, questions, & concerns, and gave very good suggestions & advice when we needed it. I honestly can't imagine planning my wedding without her help as our wedding planner through Sunset Ranch. We got the package deal, which I would highly recommend, that includes many details such as your own wedding coordinator, florals, mostly all the rentals, some live music, bar service, cake, dinner catering, and set-up/decorations. Some advice regarding the package -- make sure you inquire as to what is included/what isn't included. While it does cover a ton of stuff, things not included are DJ, live musicians during reception, alcohol (you buy your own, but they provide the staffing/bartenders) and certain rentals like extra draping. As far as florals & food go...there are many different menu options, but only one is already budgeted in the package. You can ask Greg the exact dollar amounts that are allocated to each area...which helped me out a lot. There are so many details that go into a single wedding, that it is SO helpful to have that extra help with your own coordinator like Leila. Our wedding was hands-down the best day of my life so far, and largely that was because of the help that Leila & her crew provided. My only concern about Sunset Ranch is that I hope they pay their staff as much as they deserve!! :)

Hands down the best location to have a wedding if you can't decide on an indoor or outdoor event. Thank goodness for wedding coordinators. We both live in San Francisco but I am from Australia and my husband grew up in Hawaii. We knew that Hawaii would be the place we would get married. A friend we know from work recommended Sunset Ranch to us. She used to be a wedding planner in Hawaii previously and said it was her favorite venue on Oahu. We trusted her judgement and booked the venue without seeing it. We made a trip to the venue a few months later and once we saw it we couldn't believe how perfect it was. It is the most beautiful spot and a perfect wedding venue. The views and sunsets are phenomenal.Mark and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Carina (wedding planner), Greg (owner), and everyone at Sunset Ranch. Carina and Greg were extremely professional and provided the best customer service. Carina provided us with a full list of their preferred vendors and gave great advice as to which vendors would suit our requirements the best. Everyone went above and beyond. The wonderful feedback from friends and family on how amazing Sunset Ranch is, hasn't stopped. We are hoping that we can have another event there soon.

Sunset Ranch is the absolute PERFECT venue for a wedding. We were so honored to be able to celebrate our marriage at this beautiful place. Sunset Ranch is the most AMAZING place! We are so happy to have said our vows in such a serene location. The beauty is breathtaking and it was so wonderful to share this special place with our guests. We initially planned it outside at Charlie's Pond but with a tropical storm headed our way we were so happy to have the option to move into the barn, even though we lucked out on the weather anyway! It was beautiful all day at Sunset Ranch while it stormed on the other side of the island. Our photos turned out awesome because the beauty of this location is such a great backdrop. Thank you to Greg and the team at Sunset Ranch who helped make it all possible!

We had a successful wedding at Sunset Ranch this September with 50 guests. Everything went well and it was a dream come true for us and the guests that have attended. The atmosphere created at the ranch is breathtaking. The staff we worked with are very helpful and professional. Although it might be far from Waikiki and the international airport it is worth the trip for the guests, everyone loved the escape from the touristy areas and to be up in the hills of Sunset Ranch. We would definitely recommend other couples to see Sunset Ranch for themselves.

We loved Sunset Ranch from when we first saw it. It is so beautiful! You're up on the hills and there are also ocean views. We wanted a venue that was on Oahu but had a neighbor island \"feel\". It is truly a hidden gem, as a lot of locals do not even know about it. We did have a huge Hawaiian \"blessing\" (rain) that day but it made it even more special. Sunset Ranch staff was very good about moving everyone around and it ended being actually even more intimate. When the rain stopped, it cleared up nicely and everyone was able to take pictures. It was a beautiful day and we will remember it forever!

Sunset Ranch was the perfect place for our wedding! Our ceremony was under the tree, cocktail hour was by the pond, and our reception was in the barn. All of the locations on the property are beautiful and perfect for photos. Greg, the owner, and Carina, the wedding coordinator, were very helpful and responsive in all our needs. Their recommended vendors were fabulous and brought our vision to life. I HIGHLY recommend Sunset Ranch Hawaii and their wedding package option for your special day!

Sunset Ranch is AMAZING!!!! I grew up in Hawaii and I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful venues on O'ahu!!! Their service was above and beyond and they made my day all the more special by taking care of any and all issues that arose on the day of. I recommend adding on their coordination services and using their preferred vendors list as they know what they are doing! I couldn't be happier!

Sunset Ranch is absolutely breathtaking! We couldn't have been happier with our decision to start our lives together at such a beautiful venue. We had our ceremony under the tree, cocktail hour by Charlie's Pond, and our reception in the barn. Their staff and all the vendors were a joy to work with and everything turned out better than we could have imagined. The barn was completely transformed to the elegant, town & country look we were hoping for. The oversized chandeliers created such a romantic environment and the florals were perfection. The entire day was a dream come true! Thank you!

My wife and I fell in love with Sunset Ranch from the first time we saw the views and layout. The botanical garden was our ceremony choice and we chose the beautiful historic barn for our reception. Sunset Ranch is a Historic property located on the beautiful and serene north shore. We appreciated the Bride and Groom suites that made getting prepared for our wedding on site a huge plus. I personally can tell you that the team at Sunset Ranch looked after us as family and we are forever grateful for their support on our special day. Great location, Great People. I highly recommend Sunset Ranch for any event you may be considering.

Sunset Ranch is by far one of the most beautiful venues on Oahu. However leading up to the event we did have some miscommunication with Shauna. We decided to do ‘ala carte’ which meant we did not hire Sunset Ranch for wedding coordination. We instead used our own vendor for the day of. Shaunnas attitude seemed to vary between helpful and other times inconvenienced. At times there were offers for help via email which were then never followed up on. I can understand this, as we didn’t pay for the coordination services, but the offer should have never been made. Finally there was a large miscommunication regarding my parents and vendors visiting the ranch to view the stables (I live on the mainland), only to discover the stables were not available for viewing. I acknowledge they showed up 15 mins late, but they were also driving over an hour to get there, so I didn’t understand why such a short time frame would be available. If this was the case, we would have at least liked to know our time constraints. Being that so many people made an effort to view the venue that day, I was upset, and spoke with Greg, the owner of the ranch. Greg was responsive and very apologetic. \r\rMoving forward I worked with Carina, including on the day of. She was responsive and amazing to work with. Her attitude was laid back yet professional which made the day go smoothly. We also used their horse Huey for pictures, he is so calm and was the perfect model for pictures. The only other downside I would say is the fact that everything has to be brought it. I was not interested in a hotel/banquet wedding, so I would do this all over again. But be prepared to be extremely organized because you (or your hired coordinator) need to plan for everything down to the last fork! Overall our wedding was amazing and we would choose this venue again despite our initial setbacks, it truly is BEAUTIFUL.\r

Here attention to detail, anticipation of needs and execution were outstanding.\r\rBeyond the nuts and bolts, her kind demeanor is a pleasure to be around.\r\rFinally, don't forget Huey, Sunset Ranch's majestic, enormous and gentle white horse who can grace your pictures with his elegance.

I have to say when I first booked Sunset Ranch in Hawaii, I was extremely excited. I had looked at multiple venues and felt this place had the true Hawaiian feel that my family and friends would appreciate. It was outdoors and on a beautiful mountain. I figured I couldn't go wrong with celebrating my wedding on a mountain in Hawaii, dancing under the stars with my nearest and dearest who had flown across the planet to be a part of such a special event but the total opposite happened when I realized the music could only be as loud as elevator music. The coordinator showed me text messages from the owner who was getting angry messages from neighbors miles away from the venue complaining about the noise... the owner even threatened to shout down the event if we didn't lower the music (which was ridiculously low to begin with) unfortunately, this was such a downer on the whole event. A wedding is a celebration that my guests and I were unable to enjoy the way we thought we would be able to... If I could do this again, I would look into the sound restrictions further and would choose a different venue, where we can all really enjoy ourselves without all the unnecessary restrictions... Any wedding venue should anticipate loud music or consider not offering their ranch for such events...

Sunset Ranch is absolutely gorgeous. The first time I toured the property I knew I was going to get married there. There are so many different venue options on the property.... and you can use all of them if you so desire! Unfortunately, our wedding day fell between TWO HUGE hurricanes, Iselle and Julio. The staff at Sunset Ranch was extremely helpful and accommodating. While I was unable to set the reception tent up outdoors, Sunset Ranch helped us to draw up new plans to have the reception in the barn. Although I was hesitant about this idea at first, my carnival wedding turned into the most spectacular BARNival I have ever seen. No one knew that the barn was actually a barn. The chandeliers that Sunset Ranch put up in the barn were so elegant and fun! We still had our ceremony outdoors in front of the large pond. The photos in this location, with the property of the ranch in the background, are truly magical.

Our wedding at sunset ranch on April 10 this year was the greatest day ever!! What an amazing location, and venue. All the staff were so helpful, friendly, & professional. Having booked the whole wedding from overseas, you would think it would be stressful, but it was totally the opposite. Carina and the team made it so stress free, and was full of fantastic advice about the day. I honestly wouldn't recommend anywhere else. It's such a hidden gem! \r\rPs- I recommend getting the chandelier in the tree at your reception- just beautiful!

We enjoyed our wedding at sunset ranch. The space is beautiful. My biggest complaint is the requirement to use pacific party rentals for all our rental needs. They were late to set up and made the morning very stressful.

Sunset Ranch is the only place you should be looking for a venue for your wedding. Stunning isn't even the right word to describe this place. We loved the all day availability, including the day before for the rehearsal, the multiple guests suites for the groom and his party and me (bride) and my party, and the genuine feel. Most places on Oahu feel more like a wedding factory were they rush you in and rush you out, but not Sunset Ranch. Our guests could not get over the beauty of the landscape. It is quite a long drive depending on your location so make your guests happy and safe and provide transportation. Sunset Ranch's staff was a huge help and provided lots of tips and vendor recommendations. Seriously, you cannot go wrong by picking this place.

I really enjoyed working with Sunset ranch Hawaii. Being that I am the mom of the groom and planner/coordinator, detailing and communication were very important to me. They met my needs and were able to accommodate a lot of our needs and wants. The staff was great, friendly and very pleasant. The guests were raving about how beautiful and well kept it was and once we decorated the ranch, the ambiance was perfect for a rustic themed wedding.

Greg and his staff were awesome to work with. The ranch is such a beautiful venue, and he and his staff made things so easy to plan. They were very accommodating, and were very helpful, especially the day of when it stormed all day and night! We still had a blast though, and it was still beautiful. Our family and friends are still telling us what an amazing time they had and how gorgeous everything was. Mahalo nui loa to Sunset Ranch for making our big day even more special.

Sunset Ranch was a perfect venue for us! Even though they have multiple sites to choose from, we absolutely loved that our tent was set up right near the house & pond. It was a perfect setting for our reception - overlooking the ocean, a gorgeous sky as the sun set. Our guests felt so relaxed and in awe of the scenery - they wouldn't stop taking pictures! The service was great, they were so flexible & willing to help if we had any special preferences or requests. As I was planning a wedding from Australia, I was hesitant about what the location would actually look like, compared to the pictures on their website. I was so impressed the first time arrived - the pictures don't do it justice! I highly recommend this venue - it's beauty stands on its own, but the service provided was exceptional!

As someone who was a VERY detail-oriented bride and who essentially tried to accomplish every Pinterest idea for our wedding, I felt that Sunset Ranch was the perfect venue to have all of my ideas and wedding dreams come to life. Sunset Meadow (with the large tree) provided us with the absolute best ceremony venue. It was just so romantic and it provides the most beautiful backdrop for photos and ceremony decor. We hung cadiz shell lanterns, tulle and leis from the branches and (although we are biased), our ceremony turned out to be even more beautiful than what I envisioned. Fern's Garden proved to be a perfect spot for cocktail hour as it was shaded, has a fabulous view of Waimea Valley and it provides a nice change of scenery for guests after the ceremony. Sunset Vista was the perfect choice for us to host our reception under a clear top tent. The stars out on the North Shore are amazing (so many guests commented on it!), and having a clear top tent to enjoy the view is SO worthwhile. \r\rIn short, Sunset Ranch is unique. There are beautiful hotels and resorts on Oahu and each one has something different to offer. However, as a couple, we hoped to differentiate our wedding from the others and make it memorable for both us and our guests. Sunset Ranch allowed us to have a wedding that we could customize EXACTLY to our taste, and I will always remember just how unique and beautiful it was because of this fact. Our videographers sincerely commented that our wedding was one of the most unique and beautiful that they have ever attended. We received thank you letters from our guests (before we were even able to send out OUR thank you notes), letting us know that they had never attended such a fantastic and lovely wedding. We were truly touched and it confirmed for us that we had made the BEST decision to choose Sunset Ranch for our special day.\r\rJessica, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. Without her help and hard work, we wouldn't have been able to plan such an elaborate and detailed wedding. It is such an advantage to have a coodinator who is actually working at Sunset Ranch. With her prior experience in coordinating weddings at Sunset Ranch, she had an answer to EVERY question we had, a solution to every problem, and she was just so efficient. We would delegate tasks between us (bride and groom) and Jessica, and she would accomplish each task without fail. Last but not least, Jessica is a wonderful person at heart and she exudes a positivity that is just so uplifting.
