Upon arriving at The Barn at Boone's Dam, you will find landscaped grounds and stunning scenery, setting an enchanting tone for your big day. A beautiful barn sits at the heart of the serene property, consisting of an indoor space that can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. Inside, the dedicated ceremony area is at the base of a grand staircase, allowing for breathtaking entrances. No matter what season you're celebrating in, you and your guests will be able to enjoy the barn's wrap-around, second-story deck. A fire pit area with wooden swings and benches is also available for your use. Alternatively, your wedding can take place entirely in the open air. The venue's staff would be happy to set up a tent that fits up to 250 loved ones for your momentous occasion. The idyllic setting also offers endless wedding photo opportunities. The barn is surrounded by sloping hills, a butterfly garden, a picturesque pond, and more for you to use as your backdrop. When booking The Barn at Boone's Dam, you and your partner can choose from several wedding packages. Each option includes up to five hours of venue hire, a cocktail hour, a wedding cake, and banquet coordination. Event essentials such as tables, chairs, china, glassware, and linens can be provided by the venue. The Susquehanna Chef catering team would also be more than happy to create a custom wedding menu inspired by classic recipes and innovative flavors. I highly recommend The Barn at Boone's Dam! It was so nice to have indoor & outdoor space for our wedding, all at the same location! Ruth was so patient, organized & had great recommendations for other local vendors, which was super helpful since we weren't from the area. They had so many different food options, which allowed us to put together options for everyone to enjoy. The open house held in the spring to try the food & cake, see the decorations, and meet various vendors was also great! For everything that was included and taken care of, the cost seemed too good to be true. The day of our wedding went so smooth! Ruth and her staff were so efficient, polite and just amazing. Our guests had nothing negative to say about the venue and staff. It was an amazing time and everything was set up beautifully! (I'm so disappointed I can't include photos with this review :( the barn & outdoor space were beautiful! Especially at night!)

The first day we went to view the venue we immediately knew it was where we wanted to get married. Ruth made every step of planning feel super easy and light and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous. The food is amazing, my guests could not stop talking about it and Ruth goes above and beyond to make sure there’s nothing to worry about on your big day but being your happiest and having the best time possible. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful and assisted in making sure everything was perfect. We can’t thank them enough, they truly gave us the perfect wedding day!

I am so glad I went home to Pennsylvania to get married. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly. Ruth was organized, detailed and a pleasure to work with in addition to being very friendly! Our wedding Was beautiful and magical because of the ambience and atmosphere thanks to this venue!

Wedding Date 05-09-2020
Thanks to Ruth and her staff at the Barn at Boone’s Dam, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. When the pandemic hit, we ended up having to postpone our wedding from June 13 to September 5th, and Ruth worked with us and stayed in contact with us every step of the way. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out, and their food is absolutely incredible. The mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shots are a must have!!! We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day went and are so grateful we chose the Barn at Boone’s Dam for our special day!
