Danielle Tatum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2022 Sylvan Dale Ranch is just amazing. The moment I found their website and venue I knew it was a special place. After visiting and seeing all the beautiful land, reception lodge, cabins, river, and ceremony sites I was completely sold. We were fortunate enough to have had a fun wedding weekend at the ranch. All our family and friends were able to travel from a far and stay in the cabins and have a mountain retreat celebrating love. Megan was with me every step of the way and answered every single question I sent her way. From the moment we arrived at the ranch everybody just fell in love. The ranch is stunning and everyone who works there is sweet, caring, and delightful. Everybody loves their job and it definitely shows. Our rehearsal went smoothly and we had the most incredible and delicious rehearsal dinner. The food all weekend was incredible and everyone was commenting about it all weekend. The day of the wedding flowed better than I cold have imagined. Megan was on top of every single detail and nothing went wrong (crazy for a wedding!). We had the most incredible wedding weekend that I could have ever dreamed of! Every detail of the ranch, from the cabins, to the morning breakfasts on the back patio, to the game room, to the lights and games down by the river, was absolutely perfect and they had something for everyone. Every single person at our wedding couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the property was and how much fun they had discovering the ranch. Every staff member was incredibly sweet and amazing at their job! We felt so welcomed and taken care of. My favorite venue and ranch! We can’t wait to spend our anniversary in a cabin there next year! The pictures we have from our photographer were just next level incredible and the stunning natural backdrop at the ranch made for the perfect wedding photos. We can’t recommend this venue enough!!! Erika Bloomquist(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-07-2021 Not only does Sylvan Dale have two beautiful places to get married outside (which we struggled to decide between), but they have Samantha as their wedding coordinator. We got married in June with clouds looming over and she was so reassuring. My wedding wouldn’t have been what it was if it weren’t for Samantha’s attention to detail and patience. The bartenders were fantastic and the food was great! The whole staff made it so I didn’t have a worry in the world on my wedding day. They were all so accommodating. If you’re on the fence, go with Sylvan Dale. Gorgeous grounds, good bar and great food. Outstanding coordinator! Reviewed on 16-07-2021
E M(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-10-2018 Choosing Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch for our wedding venue was, hands down, the single largest factor in creating the magical, “campy,” comfortable, wonderful, hospitable wedding experience we were looking for. ZERO REGRETS. We, along with our families, stayed on the ranch from Friday to Monday of our wedding weekend. Much of our experience will likely apply to couples planning their wedding on the ranch for just one day, but the weekend experience was what really made our wedding amazing. We hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding onsite. Our families had never met, but by the end of the weekend, the cousins were playing together on the carousel, the parents had shared breakfast together, our bridal party was chilling on the couches on the porch, and our friends were catching up near the river. We shared many campfires together. Originally we worked with Melissa (she’s great) but mid-way through our process were reassigned to Suzanne who had just joined as an additional wedding coordinator. Suzanne played a huge role in making our event run smoothly and is great with details (and we had quite a few of them). I am so grateful for Suzanne’s advice and expertise around planning a weekend-long event and the ranch was so accommodating. She was honest and up-front about what we could do (including but not limited to light sparklers, have campfires, bring in s’mores, design our own mixed-and-matched table layouts, send the chef our favorite pancake recipe for breakfast, use their heat lamps for the porch) and what we couldn’t do (this was mostly around food regulations and storage; we asked a lot of questions) and the whole communication process was efficient and helpful. Suzanne, we are grateful for you!More highlights: The food is really good. We didn’t really have a tasting so it was a bit of a gamble but the food is great. Chef Marcus is crushing it. We had a few vegans and the staff made special meals for them which was great. The kitchen crew greeted our guests as they moved through the buffet and that was a nice touch. It was on time and delicious. The main lodge is decorated beautifully with twinkle lights and seasonal decorations. We added zero decorations. Easy. The staff was extremely nice. Hospitable, but never in our way or overbearing, and quite accommodating throughout the process. Susan, the owner, could be seen at breakfast refilling coffee and chatting with our guests. Truly a classy family-owned space where we felt at home. One growth edge we found was that they can be a bit disorganized. It occasionally felt like the right hand was not talking to the left around room reservations, for example; ultimately, and especially after we started working with Suzanne, things went really smoothly.Lastly, we found them to be appropriately and fairly priced. Hosting a wedding shouldn’t be 10x more expensive than any other event of that size and scale but so many vendors in the wedding space are crazy expensive. We never felt price-gouged by the ranch and felt they deserved every penny because our weekend was so magical. So, thank you, SDR, for sharing your space with us for our wedding. We will be reminiscing about our weekend for many decades to come. Ten stars. Reviewed on 05-11-2018

The wedding coordinator we worked with, Suzanne, was incredible and answered all of my thousands of questions punctually and thoroughly. Our entire wedding day went smoothly and we had zero issues from the ceremony to the reception. The ceremony site and reception hall were perfect, the food was incredible, and all of our guests loved the venue and had an amazing time. Lindsey Meredith(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-06-2018 The location is amazing! The cabins, reception, and ceremony were all perfect! They had a lot of turn over this year, and I went through 3 wedding coordinators.... there communication was off, and things we were told originally were included were not- that was a disappointment, but not enough to ruin anything. We are glad we had our wedding at Sylvan Dale Reviewed on 24-06-2018
Kayla Martinez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2017 We were so happy with our experience at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch! The views of the Thompson canyon and the surrounding mountain ranges make for a gorgeous scene with all of the horses, and big horn sheep on the property. It is a perfect setting for a wedding. Another plus was that our wedding party could stay on the property in their own cabins which made everything very convenient and fun for the day of the wedding. When we originally booked our wedding here, we were working with Sarah. She did a great job with helping us create our big day. We then started working with Melissa, it was as if we had been working with her from the beginning. All of the staff at Sylvan Dale were very friendly and accommodating. The Food was excellent. So many of our guests mentioned how beautiful and fun everything was. My husband and I could not have imagined a more perfect day at such a beautiful place. In our opinion, this is the best place to get married in Northern Colorado. Reviewed on 12-10-2017
Christina Lindstrom(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-06-2017 Everything was so well planned and carried out by Sarah, the wedding coordinator at Sylvan Dale Ranch. The grounds were superior with a river running through it, beautiful trees and natural and planted landscaping. A newly installed bridge over a stream was a magical part of the walk down the isle. The staff at Sylvan Dale was incredibly gracious and helpful. They made everything so easy to plan. Their recommended vendors were pro at making this a wonderful experience. (Debbie of Reale Events, Ryan Haines our DJ, and Star Painter Productions videographer, Drew Bankston)Our guests who stayed at the ranch were comfortable and happy thanks to their front desk manager, Kathy, who was very warm and welcoming!I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who would enjoy rustic elegance for their outdoor summer wedding! Shaina Newton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2016 I can’t even explain how amazing having our wedding here was. I honestly didn’t want the night to end! First, Sarah C. was absolutely PHENOMENAL to work with. If it wasn’t for her, I probably would have gotten overwhelmed and we would have run off and eloped in Vegas, but probably invited Sarah because she is a wonderful, fun person. But honestly, she is so organized, really understands the couple, and makes sure everything seems to go off without a hitch. If there was a problem, I didn’t notice it. She worked well with all of the vendors too. Many we selected from Sylvan Dale’s suggestions and many we did not, but it didn’t matter. Sarah made it all a well-oiled machine! In addition, the venue is simply stunning. The grounds are kept clean and the natural beauty is just perfect. I also received SO many compliments on the venue including the food-especially the beef brisket and potatoes- and how friendly the staff was (which they were! Top notch hospitality, and I majored in hospitality management in college so I know a thing or two). All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and had an amazing time. Many are planning on coming back for vacations! The little touches were also special, like having our food for us at our table, little snacks in the cabin as we got ready and after the wedding, etc. I honestly just wish my nerves would have let me eat more! It was all so good. I highly recommend getting married here, hands down. It may seem a tad pricey, especially if you are like me and get married on a Saturday during peak time, but they fully disclose everything and they will make your day something you and your guests will never forget. Well worth it!My husband and I are going to be very regular patrons for many years to come. Thank you, Sylvan Dale, for making our wedding everything we could have ever dreamed of and more! Nicole Shanahan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2016 Even though our coordinator called first thing to tell us she was sick Sylvan Dale Ranch staff stepped up and didn't skip a step. We were set to have our rehearsal at 1:30 the day of the wedding and we were running a little late, they were ready as soon as we got there. Sara was our fill in coordinator, and did everything to make things run smooth. The cabins were clean, and comfortable with AC. Once our DJ arrived the two teams worked effortlessly for the ceremony and reception. We were told once introduction were made we were to go straight our table where appetizers were waiting for us. The they delivered our meal to us, a little bit of everything from our buffet. Prime ribs was incredible, chicken, sweet potatoes, yummy rolls, salad, and fresh veggies. Everything was delicious! The staff learned my husbands and my name quickly and constantly checked on us to make sure if we needed anything. It was really the small things. My mom didn't want to carry her purse all over, the staff offered to hold it for her and immediately returned into her when she sat done for dinner. We had 20 kids at the wedding and they had just as much fun as the adults, a merry go round, a game room (pool, ping pong, foozeball, board games and darts), an outside pool, volleyball court and basketball court. Most beautiful place to get married. Our guest didn't want for anything. When we arrived back in our complementary cabin, there was a plate of cheese, crackers, sausage and fruit and water for us to sit on the porch and relax a little bit. The next morning we walked down to the reception hall for an amazing breakfast. They had all our decoration set up on a table ready for us to pack up. The staff was always there when we needed help. This venue and their staff went above and beyond to make our day not just special but incredible! Reviewed on 13-06-2016
Jade Bryant(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-08-2015 Sylvan Dale was great to work with for our wedding. They were hit pretty hard by the floods in Colorado a couple of years ago but have really worked hard to get their space not just back to where it was but to improve it.\rOur ceremony site was new this year and absolutely beautiful! After our ceremony, it was a short walk to the reception area. They have a great outdoor area for cocktail hour; we brought some lawn games and people loved just being outside on the swing or just walking around. It was great to have a venue that took care of everything, they had appetizers out right when the ceremony ended and the bar with a great bartender all night long. We chose to do a buffet dinner with some amazing BBQ - people could not stop raving about how awesome the food was. The rest of the night was great with dancing or hanging out in the game room (with pool and ping pong) or again just walking around. Having an outdoor wedding with modern day amenities was really important to me and we struck gold with Sylvan Dale. Another feature that I loved about this venue site was that there were cabins on the property for some of our guests. It was great for out of town family and close friends to be able to stay on site for the night. For other people, it was very easy for us to book a block of hotel rooms in Loveland and also book a shuttle to take them to and from Sylvan Dale. \rAs far as planning for the day went, Ge, our wedding coordinator was a dream. She made sure that all of the details for the day were ironed out prior to the day and she made it so that we could relax and really enjoy our wedding. She was always prompt in responding to emails and the week before the wedding she was available to me by cell phone too. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants an outdoor wedding but doesn't want the hassle of having to bring and take out everything. Reviewed on 10-07-2015
Allie Carlton(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-06-2013 My wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and more than I could have ever asked for...thanks to my family and friends. They worked their butts off to get everything perfect for my special day. Granted, the venue itself is out of this world gorgeous, however, the staff is somewhat less impressive. They were difficult to work with and non accommodating. Many of my family and friends were treated very rudely. They wouldn't tell the usher where the bridal party was located when he was trying to bring us items. They wouldn't allow my best friend to check me into my room while I was gone getting my makeup done. We weren't allowed to sample any of the food ahead of time, but had to pay $30-$50 a head hoping the food would be decent. They freaked out when they found one person drinking underage at the reception and they went table to table carding guests. They refused to pour the champagne until after the dinner, when all guests were seated...causing dancing and speeches to be put on hold for 20 minutes after dinner. My family and friends had to do all the setting up, taking down, organizing, telling the bridal party where to be and when. And after all the money we spent, they decided to charge us an extra $500 cleanup fee...wow. Thank god I had such wonderful people around me, otherwise they truly could have ruined this special day for me. Reviewed on 02-07-2013
