We loved tanoan! Sunee is AMAZING and the most organized. She is prompt with responding and made sure everything was as easy as possible for our special day. I can say my day as a bride was stress free and much enjoyed. The rest of the staff was also great :) And the mountains are the perfect backdrop for photos! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Sunee was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and flexible, especially considering the COVID environment we were dealing with and the rescheduling of our ceremony from April to September due to gathering restrictions.Sunee was clear about the offerings of the Tanoan experience, and very patient in answering our questions along the way. We chose Tanoan because of the beauty of the venue, the country club/golf course setting, the views, the pricing, the balcony off the main ballroom, as well as the fact that Tanoan staff set up and tore down everything. We didn’t have to worry about cleaning up afterwards. It was spectacular. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were larger than expected. The wedding day was smooth as could be. It resulted in the wedding of our dreams, in large part to the professionalism, planning and execution of the entire event by Tanoan staff. Not a single thing went wrong. Tanoan staff were so helpful, friendly, efficient, professional and courteous. They made the evening amazing for my husband and I, and our guests. We highly recommend Tanoan for all your events!

there were a few small errors that should not have occurred. they put the wrong names on the marquee on the day of the wedding with our picture. If you are considering a summer wedding know that it is extremely hot in the reception area. it literally felt like the heater was on because they have swamp coolers and it was 98 degrees outside. Sunee was amazing. she brought fans into the locker room while we got ready because it was so hot. We had to work with her assistant for a week and she was rude and inattentive. other than this it was perfect!

Most of my dealings with tanoan for my wedding were positive. However two things stick out that were not. First, the upgrade on the alcohol includes all guests, even those not 21 and of drinking age. Second, without any communication, the food and beverage threw out the entire leftover cake. I would have liked to have saved some as I only got the one bite we fed eachother during the cutting. Their stance was that the cake had set out more than 2 hours, but that doesn't hold up as they did give us the top for our anniversary and it sat out just as long. Also, the cake was delivered before 2 and not served until 7, so by their rules, the cake should either have been refrigerated until closer to the time it was served or not served at all. I was looking forward to havi g some of my cake, but now I will have to purchase another one if I want to k ow how it tasted.

We started our venue search a full year before the wedding and looked at eight locations. We chose Tanoan for three main reasons: location, food, and staff.Our first visit to Tanoan was a private meeting and tour with Sunee, the Events Coordinator. That went so well that we came back for a bridal show where we could look around again and take some more time to jot down thoughts and ideas. Both times, the staff was amazingly courteous and respectful. I knew I wanted that treatment for my guests. The food is absolutely delicious from the first hors d'oeuvre to the main course. My husband is a chef and was very critical of the menus at each location. Tanoan had a great selection on par with other \"top rated\" venues and it was so easy too add changes for guests with specific needs. The location is beautiful. I wanted the \"snack you in the face\" mountain view that my out of state friends and family never experienced. The indoor-outdoor environment was perfect for our needs as this was a sunset fall wedding with dropping temperatures after the sun went down. My guests still find such great things to say about the wedding, the food, and Tanoan and I couldn't be happier with our selection. Sunee and the entire staff made everything wonderful!

We hold an annual event at Tanoan and could not be happier with the service they provide. The facility is gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff efficient and organized and the food delicious. We come back year after year because they make it so easy and take all the worry out of it.

Tanoan was a great place to have our wedding reception. Sunee and the staff were very helpful, and worked with us at every turn to make sure we were getting what we wanted, at the most reasonable price. The setting is unmatched, and you can do as much or as little as you want to. Would definitely recommend.

Tanoan was a great place to have our wedding reception. Sunee and the staff were very helpful, and worked with us at every turn to make sure we were getting what we wanted, at the most reasonable price. I could not be more happier with Tanoan country club. They did a phenomenal job from day one, to the wedding day and they we’re still very helpful, prompt and professional even after the wedding. Sunee and the staff at Tanoan we’re very professional, and willing to help in anyway that they possibly could to make this day that much more special for my husband and I. I would highly highly highly recommend Tanoan country club if you are looking for a Gorgeous, breathtaking, classy, professional, place to say I do/reception. You will not be disappointed I promise you that . I have absolutely no complaints. Thank You Sunee and Tanoan for making the Medrano Wedding one to remember!

We had a very lovely evening. Our ceremony site on the Sandia Patio was gorgeous as our wedding ended just before sunset. The ballroom was nicely set and the staff were friendly and went almost unnoticed until the end of the evening when they began clearing tables. I can't seem to remember the name of the young lady who helped us with a lot on the night of the wedding, but she was fantastic!! \r\rLauren, event sales director, was friendly and helpful during the planning stages, especially as our wedding was planned in only 6 weeks. She was able to provide everything we needed just at the highest end of our budget. \r\rThe food was good. We had no complaints. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious!!

Tanoan Country Club hosted the cocktail hour and reception for my March wedding. The event director was a pleasure to work with. She acted like an on-site wedding planner which was exactly what I needed as a bride planning an out-of-state wedding. The food was delicious! Most of guests commented on the food. The rest of the staff was helpful and professional. The views of the Sandia Mountains from the ballroom were spectacular! It was a dream come true to have my wedding reception here.

Tanoan Country Club hosted the cocktail hour and reception for my March wedding. The event director was a pleasure to work with. Let me tell you! The service we received during our reception was incredible! like 5 star restaurant incredible! You barely even knew that the wait staff was there. They were constantly checking on you, but not to the point where it was annoying. and when the party was over they were ready to pack up and get things looking nice again. I had a hard time at first getting a hold of the manager as we played phone tag for a few days, but once we got things rolling everything turned out amazingly perfect!

Everything with Tanoan went off without a hitch. The ballroom is beautiful and the staff is very good at getting everything set up the way you want it. It was perhaps a little expensive, but well worth the expense. The balconies have a great view of the Sandias.

Sunee Golder (Events Director) Sunee Golder comes to Tanoan Country Club with over 15 years of sales experience. She has been with the club since 2010, in which year she was awarded \"rookie of the year\". In 2011, she was honored with the MVP accolade, and promoted from tournament sales manager to private event director/tournament sales director. She stepped away from Tanoan in the summer of 2014 to start a family. Not only does she love the staff she is surrounded by, she enjoys helping each and every client fulfill the smallest details of their events.
