Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, Tavares, Florida
The Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, is an event facility that is located over the water at the end of brick-paved pier with ornamental railing and gas lamps lighting the way. An ornate staircase is located at the front of the room and fit for any princess, a carved, two-tier, winding wood staircase with a gentle landing will be the feature piece on the back glass wall overlooking the lake. The Bridal Suite located on the Upper Level, is furnished with lounging chairs, vanity and a private restroom. It is the perfect spot to apply those finishing touches before heading down the aisle. The Ready Room located on the Lower Level, is a quiet gathering space with comfortable seating that offers a view of the lake, with a private deck.

A stunning venue for a Christmas wedding. My husband and I were married here on 12/15/23 and could not be more impressed by the venue and staff. Everyone (particularly Amy and Lee) we encountered was super helpful and accommodating throughout the process of wedding planning. The Christmas decor is elegant, and we loved the vintage vibe of the wedding. We are so glad we ended up choosing this venue for our wedding.

My husband & I got married here on October 22, 2023 & it was PERFECT. We viewed this location becuase of it's central point to both of our families, but picked it because of the staff and the atmosphere. This venue is absolutely stunning and I would recommend it to anyone!

This venue is so adorable. Among all the venues we searched for our wedding reception, this was the most amazing one. The process from start to end was so seamless and easy. Amy, helped us a lot during the full process, and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure she meets all of our last minute requests and questions. She replies to all emails right away even when she's out of office.The staff at the venue were very cheerful and helpful during the wedding day.Definitely recommend the place!!

I fell in love with this venue the first time I saw it. Everyone who attended our wedding thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Many remarked that it looked like we were on a gorgeous cruise ship. The staff was wonderful to work with throughout everything. The only reason it has four instead of five stars, is that it would have been nice to be able to get into the venue a little earlier without paying even more and the bridal suite and upstairs were warm all night, but I like things on the colder side and I was also in a ball gown.

Great venue, it was decorated very nicely for Christmas. We had the wedding of our dreams that we planned and executed in less than 90 days. We caught a great sunset just after we got married and then had a great dinner afterwards. Great place to do a seaplane ride and fly off into the sunset right after you’re married, then come back for dinner with family and friends!

I got married in October at the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, and I have only the best things to say about my entire experience! I fell in love with the Pavilion just from seeing photos, and even more so upon touring the facility in person. The venue is so beautiful that you'll save money by not needing much additional decor. The entire staff was incredibly helpful every step of the way; I primarily worked with Amy leading up to my event who was proactive, knowledgeable, prompt, and very friendly. Michael was also very helpful both beforehand and during my wedding. The city of Tavares actually hosted a rock concert right outside the Pavilion on the day of my wedding (which was completely out of the control of the Pavilion) but the staff very effectively did everything in their power to minimize noise and wedding crashers, and to reserve parking for my guests. My guests were very impressed with the beauty of the venue and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend booking your event with Tavares Pavilion, you won't regret it!

Even the pier is private during your event, in that way your guests can feel more than comfortable. This administration runs an amazing place. The dark hardwood, grand staircases, wall of windows overlooking the lake, and space for both a ceremony and reception sold us immediately. Amy was wonderful to work with and kept us on track and made for a smooth and flawless wedding!! We can't say enough great things about this venue and team!

I can't say enough about this venue. It is beautiful, Carrie and Amy are Amazing! I had a corporate party to plan in 30 days and Carrie and Amy where so helpful. They took my vision of what I wanted and took the patience to make it better than I even envisioned. Carrie and Michael where there the evening of the event to make sure everything went smoothly. I cant thank them enough. The only negative I found was the venue didn't offer electronic payment other than that this venue is a Gem!! Thanks

We had a perfect wedding here and owe so much to The Pavilion Staff! The venue looked incredible and they were extremely helpful along the whole way. We were nervous about not being able to do the Monday Mingles due to our work schedules, but Lee, Amy and Carrie made sure our day would be spectacular. Great communication, flexible, reasonable, professional, and genuinely nice people. We will recommend this venue to anyone!

Despite the stress of planning during a pandemic, rhe staff at the pavilion did not hesitate to accommodate us, even when we had to unexpectedly change. The night of our event, the staff was on prompt and attentive and made our experience memorable and stress free. One thing to keep in mind, you do have to rent the rehearsal space separately if you want to rehearse at the venue itself prior to your wedding day; this is not included when you book the venue. We highly recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake!

One thing to keep in mind, you do have to rent the rehearsal space separately if you want to rehearse at the venue itself prior to your wedding day; this is not included when you book the venue. We highly recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake!

All of our guests were so pleased and so was our staff. I would truly recommend this venue to anyone who needs one.

We had 60 guests and with social distancing we felt very comfortable in the space, people weren’t having to climb over each other to do anything and the room had a lovely flow. I will say if you are looking for a huge dance floor this space may be a little tight or you may want to opt to have dancing downstairs. Pictures do not do justice to this space! There is a warmth that is lost (but that may be the staff!) and it has a wonderful atmosphere without any excess decorations , but let any additional decorations shine. The bridal suite and grooms area were perfect, enough space to get dressed and relax. The pier is beautiful and the Stereo system in the space provides great ambiance.The team at the pavilion was warm, thoughtful and helpful as we navigated through a pandemic delay to our original date. The concern that they shared was genuine and made us feel like our day was special to them as well. This was the first and only venue that we looked at because it is perfect in every way! The surrounding area has a nice restaurant selection so if you are up there for your weekend you won’t be stuck without food! It has a decent nightlife in the surrounding area, but the pavilion is a stand-alone in terms of the peace and elegance.

Trying to plan a Junior/Senior Banquet during a global pandemic is quite an undertaking but to pull it off in under 3 months time is a whole other level. We would not have been able to without the fabulous help of the staff at Tavares Pavilion. Amy was helpful with the paperwork and scheduling of the event and Michael and Lee were working during the event itself and made sure all ran smoothly. The venue is gorgeous for many different types of events.

Once I saw Tavares Pavilion on the Lake I knew I wasn't going to be able to have my wedding anywhere else. There was not one place in the greater Orlando area that compared. Once we made the decision to officially have our special day there, everything continued to be just that easy. Working with Amy was amazing. She is so incredibly responsive. If I emailed her with a question I was always blown away with how fast i'd have my answer and through this whirl wind of a process, having fast responses is everything. Come the day of our wedding, the venue couldn't have been more beautiful. It is so clean and so well taken care of. The staff was amazing. I'm hoping i'm remembering his name correctly but Michael was there to great me at the car with an umbrella when I arrived to make sure not one drop of water got onto me on my way into the venue on this overcast day. Just incredible. Thank you to everyone at the pavilion so so much for everything.

We LOVED having our wedding at The Pavilion on the Lake! Our guests could not stop gushing about how beautiful it was. The entire back of the Pavilion is glass, so we had the best sunset view of Lake Dora through the windows- it was incredible! The city of Tavares owns the Pavilion so you do have to work around some city rules but the staff at the Pavilion make everything so easy!

Amy made the planning process so easy!There were some rules we had to follow, such as no sparklers for the grand exit and no flowers/petals touching the floors, and they also do not allow you to have your rehearsal in the venue, but it didn't matter. It was worth it. We ended up having our rehearsal at our hotel and it worked out just fine!

My husband and I got married at Tavares Pavilion On The Lake on June 13th, and it was a complete dream. We took a tour of the venue almost a year before our wedding, and Michael was fantastic. He treated us so kindly, answered all of our questions, and thought of things we hadn’t even thought of. Amy was fantastic with working out all of our payments and didn’t put any pressure or rush us into anything. Since the town is small, it does have a sound ordinance, so if you want to party all night long, there’s bars you can head to after to continue the party, which is what we did! The town is so cute, everyone is so kind, and we looked at a lot of places, but knew automatically that this was the one.

We are still on a high from our wedding last night at the Tavares Pavilion--seriously everything was perfect, including the venue. This is the second venue we looked at when we started our wedding planning, and we knew as soon as we walked in. It's GORGEOUS! The downstairs was beautiful and elegant for the ceremony and the upstairs was perfect for the ceremony. It's so beautiful on its own you don't even need many decorations. All our guests talked about how much they loved the venue all night! We worked with Amy throughout most of our planning process and I've got to say that she was awesome to work with. Emails were returned quickly as well as phone calls, and no question was too small. She never made me feel like I was being a bother when I had lots of questions! She was fabulous! I also worked a little bit with Carrie who was also fantastic. If you are looking for a wedding venue with a gorgeous view and beautiful inside, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is DEFINITELY it!!!! I also worked a little bit with Carrie who was also fantastic. If you are looking for a wedding venue with a gorgeous view and beautiful inside, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is DEFINITELY it!!!! The Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is amazing! My daughter's wedding was 11-18-18, and it was like a fairytale. Many guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen, and I agree. The staff were a delight to work with. Amy and Michael couldn't have been nicer or more competent. Everything was perfect! If you're looking for the best wedding venue in central Florida, look no further. You have found it!

The beautiful architecture and antiques within the building made it so romantic and perfect for our wedding. The staff was so easy to communicate with no matter when we emailed or called. They absolutely made our wedding day as amazing as we could have hoped for. For the most part my husband and I worked with Amy, who answered all of our questions without hesitation and helped accommodate with anything they could. We also had an amazing time working with Michael the day of the wedding who helped everything run smoothly. He even met me (the bride) outside with an umbrella to keep the sun off of me! Service, service, service! If we could do it again, we would come to the pavilion every time! Thank you for everything you have done for us!

The Tavares Pavilion on the Lake made every single one of our wedding dreams come true - getting married there was like a magical fairy tale!!! From the very first moment we toured the Pavilion, we knew it was something special. My husband and I were married on September 21st, and every single part of our day was perfect thanks to the beautiful Pavilion and the amazing people who work there! Amy was our main point of contact, from our very first email inquiry to last minute emails on the morning of the wedding when I needed to request an extra chair at one our dinner tables. Throughout the entire planning process, Amy was simply incredible!!! She was very quick to respond to our emails, was super friendly and sweet, had great suggestions on how to plan out the flow of our day, and never made me feel silly for asking lots of questions. Carrie also helped me several times and was lovely. We also LOVED Michael! I didn't meet him until our rehearsal, and I wish I would've met him sooner! He was calm and reassuring and pleasant - definitely great for stressed out brides. He even greeted me on wedding day at the end of the pier with an umbrella for shade since it was so hot and escorted me to the door. The Pavilion itself is so gorgeous - we love the ambiance and the antiques and the existing decor. We had a \"Florida\" vibe to our wedding and we used a lot of citrus and greenery and we didn't need to add a lot of extra floral or props due to the elegance of the venue itself. Our Guests were mostly from New England and the Midwest and were extremely impressed - they could not get ENOUGH of the Pavilion and are still raving to us about how beautiful it was! Friends of ours who got married at other venues in Central Florida mentioned that they wish they would have known about the Pavilion so they could have gotten married there instead! Planning our wedding here was stress free, straightforward, and easy. I wish we could rate more than 5 stars. Simply amazing.

I will definitely be recommending the Pavilion to all my friends who are getting married in the area. They put so much consideration into the planning and execution of our wedding, helping along the way by asking us questions we may not have even thought of! They truly care that your event goes off without a hitch, and did an incredible job working with all our vendors too. This place is also one of the most beautiful venues I've seen and needs so little in terms of decoration. Simply the existing decor with the addition of our flower arrangements was all we needed, the venue has so much natural beauty that it doesn't take much to make everything insanely gorgeous. If you're looking for an incredible venue with even better staff, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake will not disappoint!

Was just married here at the end of March and I could not have been happier with my venue choice. I was looking for water front but without the beach vibe. I wanted a calm beautiful view but something classy on the inside. This fit all those things. They were accommodating and wonderful people. Costs were reasonable and was so happy I found this little gem. Many of my guests were wondering why I chose Tavares, FL as my wedding location, but once seeing my venue, they completely understood! The bridal room is small but gorgeous. The building is big enough for everything I needed. I was able to not see my husband until I was walking down the aisle but never felt trapped in my room! I would say, parking had me stressed a bit, since there was no parking lot right outside, however, the hotels are literally right down the road (just a short walk away) and not one my guests complained! Everything went great and I appreciate Amy and all of the staff doing everything to make sure I had a great event. I had about 100 guests and I felt like reception and dance floor upstairs was the perfect size. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

There is literally nothing negative that I can say about this place. I remember when I first stepped on the pier in January of 2017- I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. I cried when I walked inside for the very first time. It's breathtaking. There is simply nothing like the Tavares Pavilion. From the decoration, the architecture, the stunning staircase, the waterfront views and the staff....it really is perfect. I had my wedding on a Saturday, and the ability to select from a preferred caterer makes this venue much more affordable than some of the cookie-cutter hotel ballrooms we looked at. Amy is such a pleasure to work with and was my main point of contact the entire 15 months of planning. Michael was also a blessing, always checking in on me the day of and carrying my dress to the beautiful bridal suite. Visiting the venue was never an issue as they have set times during the evenings (Monday night Mingle) and daytimes to accommodate all schedules. Guests were in awe when they saw this place and by seeing the pictures they posted on social media, it's obvious they saw the same beauty in it as we did.

Michael was awesome, so welcoming and willing to go over and beyond to really make our wedding day the best day ever!!! He was wonderful!! Austin was great as well!!! From the moment we walked in to tour the Pavilion, we knew we had to have our wedding there. The windows overlooking the lake, the grand staircase, all the antiques and decorations - everything is so clean and perfectly placed. My wedding was mid January 2018 - our theme was fairytale and this venue sure fit perfectly! We had a lot of out of state guests and locals that didn't even know this venue existed! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating; communication was prompt and professional. Our only issue was the catering - you must select from the few on the venue's list. We would have preferred to find one on our own and within our budget, however we were able to find one from the list (Pisces Rising) that was able to work with us - the others did not even attempt. Had none of the caterers been able to work with us, we would have needed to find a different venue. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue!

My wedding was mid January 2018 - our theme was fairytale and this venue sure fit perfectly! We had a lot of out of state guests and locals that didn't even know this venue existed! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating; communication was prompt and professional. Our only issue was the catering - you must select from the few on the venue's list. We would have preferred to find one on our own and within our budget, however we were able to find one from the list (Pisces Rising) that was able to work with us - the others did not even attempt. Had none of the caterers been able to work with us, we would have needed to find a different venue. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue!

Everyone at Tavares Pavilion are a pleasure to work with! The venue is gorgeous and classy. We had minimal decorations as to not take away from the natural beauty of the venue. The pavilion is out over the lake with amazing floor to ceiling windows that offer an unparalleled view! The main staircase is beyond gorgeous and the entire building is just so beautiful we didn't even feel like we had to bring in our own decorations. They have stock chavari chairs, enough for the ceremony AND reception so you can avoid the upcharge you would find at other places. The tables at the venue are lovely also, we actually decided to not bother with linens as they were perfect on their own. All of our guests talked about how gorgeous the venue was and couldn't believe they hadn't heard of it before. The people who run the Pavilion were kind, helpful, and encouraging through the entire experience. I never had to wait long to hear back from them. I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE!

An absolutely beautiful venue! One reason we chose it is because we were having an August wedding in Florida and you can have ceremony and reception indoors. But the views of the Lake sold us. The building itself is also beautiful with windows all around showing the lake. The staff is friendly and answered all our questions. They will answer emails in two or three days max. The day of the wedding was flawless, they handled all of our requests. The boat exit topped everything off.

All of my guest fell in love with this venue. The staff made sure all of our needs were met, communication from day one was easy. My only complaint was that it was very hot. However my husband explained the situation which was not their fault. So with that said there were no cons to this beautiful venue.

Where to begin...not enough positive things to say about this experience, from start to finish. From the first walk we took to the last hug on the way out after the wedding, everyone at the Pavilion was dedicated to our event becoming the vision we'd carefully planned over 18 months. This was the first venue we looked at, and within moments of walking in and admiring the finishes, the decor, and the simple elegance of the space, it was also the last - and today, I'm happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue that's close to the tourist corridor but isolated enough to make it feel like a destination event. We were never made to feel as though our needs were anything less than priority, and every detail was met with action - as an example, when we noted the litter at the base of the pier during a pre-walk (from the park nearby), the team went above and beyond to make sure it was removed, which not only impressed me, but improved the environment on Lake Dora! If you'd like a venue that's more than four walls and a floor, staffed with people who care about making your evening what you always wanted it to be, you've found it at the Pavilion on the Lake.

The staff was very helpful and made our day run smoothly. The Tavares location was the perfect venue for a getaway experience while still close to home (Orlando/Melbourne/MCO). Our guests absolutely loved the stunning and relaxing atmosphere along the water, from the cute boardwalk to the glass wall looking out over the water. Plus the staircase makes for one heck of an entrance!

My husband and I were married in this BEAUTIFUL venue on April 1st, 2017. It was everything I could have asked for and more. The staff was courteous and unless we needed them they hid themselves well. My day of coordinator worked very well with them and spoke highly of the staff. My husband and I were very concerned with noise coming for the nearby seaplane event, however even with the event happening right outside, we didn't hear ANYTHING. The venue was wonderful about letting our guests come and sire inside during the cocktail hour when it got hot. They were also wonderful with assisting our elderly guests upstairs and helped my family clean up after the event. Overall, for the amount of money we paid, we were very happy. Would definitely recommend this venue to any bride that wants to get married on a beautiful staircase and with a picturesque water backdrop.

My husband even wants to have his company Christmas party there.We looked at so many other sites from resorts to country clubs and beyond, but nothing compared to this. It is beautiful and decorated on its own, but is also gorgeous as a background for your own decoration style. Tavares Pavilion on the lake was everything my daughter and son-in-law wanted, and we were all thrilled with the outcome!

Amazing venue and a fantastic staff! I have used the Pavilion for functions as small as 50 people, to over 1000 people. No matter what the size of the event, they work together to ensure everything is perfect!

Simply amazing. We held an indoor brunch wedding here for our daughter and son-in-law on January 28th. The morning was cool, skies clear and bright, water blue and shimmery, sea planes were taking off and landing – the pier was perfect for sipping morning Mimosas. Add to that the incredible staff! Michael, Amy, and Carrie have the perfect combination of knowledge, wisdom and experience to coordinate these events, yet they were very patient with us, very informative, and giving of their time during the year of planning and on the day of the event. This particular area has special meaning to our family so to know that there is an absolutely stunning venue sitting right here made this doubly special. If you are planning a wedding in Central Florida and you want true Florida, this is the place.
