Ciara Monfort(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2022 The Telluride team is incredible. We had our wedding ceremony at San Sophia Overlook and our reception at Gorrono Ranch and it was so incredible. We are grateful for Kristen and her team and the Gorrono Ranch team. They have everything locked down & made planning a wedding a lot less stressful. The food, the organization, the team, the everything was spectacular. I love this group and I truly think they are the best to ever do it! Super grateful we found them! Reviewed on 21-12-2022
Tory beardsley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-06-2020 I booked the Peaks Resort--crystal ballroom/Wilson terrace combo for our wedding pre-pandemic. We toured the venue and did a tasting with Robyn and both were absolutely wonderful, the terrace view is incredible and we were so excited to watch the sun set as we danced with our guests in the crystal room. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic we were forced to postpone and ultimately decided to do a very small ceremony on our original date while the venue was still shut down. Robyn and the Peaks were incredibly kind, gracious, and accommodating. While I was heartbroken not to get to have the wedding we had planned, the Peaks has earned a customer for life because of the way they handled the situation. We hope to renew our vows there some day in the future! Reviewed on 21-09-2020

KALEIGH KLEIN(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-10-2018 My husband and I just got married a few weeks ago at San Sophia Overlook. Our wedding was incredible. It was a white out with snow on October 11th and yet our wedding still went so smoothly. The girls at Tellski, Logan and Julia were awesome. They were super fast to respond to the millions of questions and emails I had for them and were so helpful from the start to the day of my wedding. I would 100% recommend using them for your big day. We wish we could relive our wedding over and over again and can't thank them enough for everything they have done. Reviewed on 28-10-2018

J Rae(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-08-2018 Gorrono Ranch offers absolutely spectacular views, a historic structure with a magnificent deck and one of the only venues in Telluride that can accommodate a larger wedding party. While they technically claim to be able to hold up to 200ppl, this would require tenting the deck and quite a bit of rearranging, which was not immediately disclosed. The venue food and beverage is on the pricey side - but the meals were tasty and service efficient. The communication while planning felt a little disorganized at times (you're required to work with a wedding planner, but you're also assigned a Telluride Ski event coordinator, thus roles became a bit blurred). But overall we had a lovey wedding weekend in what is a simply magical town! Reviewed on 18-09-2018
Jillian Lenertz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-07-2018 We can not say enough about how great Telluride Ski Resort was to work with! From the first day we toured the venue (Gorrono Ranch) and met Robin, we felt like we were in good hands. After choosing the venue, Robin continued to be readily available for our questions throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was friendly, punctual, and very helpful. We never felt pressured in to anything and it made the process as stress-free as possible. Gorrono Ranch in Telluride was absolutely gorgeous. It's a large venue but didn't feel too big for our smaller wedding (45 guests.) The staff at Gorrono were all so kind and helpful. We would recommend Telluride Ski Resort to anyone. We decided to have our ceremony and reception at Gorrono Ranch on 3/18/18. Of course, it was snowing all day that day! They made the transition from and outdoor ceremony to indoors quickly and with ease. Robin was an absolute pleasure to work with as well as all of the staff. I can't boast about them enough. The venue itself is breathtaking, but I cannot brag enough on all the sweet employees at Telluride Ski Resort Events. Everything was so easy and stress free. Kristen was our wedding planner and she did an amazing job. She was extremely sweet and called every vendor to make sure everything was going as planned. Sammie Zonana(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-10-2018 When people ask us about our wedding day, my first response is always, \"It was the best day of my life.\" We are a same-sex couple living in Austin. We wanted to get out Texas and go somewhere beautiful to tie the knot. We initially chose Telluride because it's gorgeous and we love the mountains, but also because we wanted to get married in a blue state where we knew the culture and community would be warm and accepting. This was 100% true on both fronts. We had our ceremony at The San Sophia Overlook (absolutely BREATHTAKING) and followed with dinner in Allred's Private Dining Room. Our wedding was everything we ever wanted and more. We joke that if we saw our wedding on Pinterest we would have pinned it! Not only is Telluride beautiful and the most perfect location to say \"I do\ Reviewed on 04-08-2017
Ali B(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2017 This was the most beautiful venue ever! Telluride makes for such a quaint, unique, and breathtaking wedding experience. L M(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-03-2017 I would give 4.5 stars if I could. We had our ceremony at San Sophia Overlook which is everything I wanted in a ceremony site. It was beautiful and one of a kind. Our reception was at Tomboy Tavern and if I could give 10 stars for the service I would! The servers were beyond attentive and always had a smile on their faces! The food was yummy, but we were missing one item from the buffet (the veggies). I loved the ambiance of Tomboy Tavern which is why we choose that for our reception, but beware of the cracks in the floor if you're in heels, more than one of us got stuck! If I could choose over again, I would still definitely pick Tomboy, it was so cozy with the fire for a winter wedding. The reason I have to take a star away is coordinating the details with the event planner. Generally the process went ok with quick response times to emails. However, planning a destination wedding is already pretty stressful and missed phone meetings, unreliable information, deadlines within the contract not being met by the venue just added to the stress. I know TSG does a lot of events but they really should be more organized. Overall I would still recommend Telluride for a destination wedding, we had a wonderful time and it was so fun to show the town to our guests who had never been! Reviewed on 26-04-2017

We got married October 1st at Gorrono Ranch and also had our reception there. There are a few other combos you can do within the Telluride Ski Resort and you cannot go wrong. It is beautiful no matter where you are. Robin was a delight to work with and was so on top of everything! She provides a great list of recommended vendors and I used a lot of them. The team was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process, from helping with initial planning, to the tasting, and flawless event execution. Holli and Julia were both delightful to work with and made the process so seamless and fun. We'd planned to have our ceremony at San Sophia Overlook, but due to inclement weather the day of the wedding, we had to make some last minute changes to the schedule and move the event indoors to the reception site (Gorrono Ranch). Gorrono was perfect for our wedding, with the deck, dinner, & dancing areas, and rustic Colorado feel. The team was absolutely flawless in making this happen, doing everything smoothly behind the scenes while keeping my husband and I posted throughout the process. They continually checked to make sure that we were alright, feeling comfortable and relaxed, with champagne in hand. Our families and friends were so grateful with how smoothly and professionally everything was handled. And when the cake vendor forgot the groom's cake, the venue team worked last minute to try and create us a replica of the planned grooms cake. That willingness to go above and beyond to make our wedding everything we'd dreamed stood out to me so much as a testament of how hard this team works and how fantastic they truly are :) All of our guests raved about the food, some saying it was the best they've ever had at a wedding. Overall the wedding was fantastic and everything we'd wanted, and that's thanks to the team at Telluride Ski! Reviewed on 13-09-2016

Our wedding at Tomboy Tavern was perfect. It was an amazing venue for our small wedding of 40 people. We got married on the patio with our guests facing the mountain, and had the reception inside. Robin Wolff from TSR was attentive and helpful during the planning process, which can be hard as we were planning a destination wedding and booked the venue site unseen! The staff at Tomboy Tavern was beyond amazing... the chef made a menu specially for our vegetarian needs, the bartenders kept our rowdy friends in check and became a part of the group, and the waitstaff helped with so much more beyond food... they tackled music, made sure the we had cocktails and snacks during our pictures, and so many more sweet things I am sure I'm forgetting. \r\rIf you are planning a destination wedding and you want a more unique venue than a hotel ballroom, talk to Telluride Ski Resort. We were so impressed and appreciative of the incredible work that TelSki put into our wedding. I honestly can't say I wish anything was different. We had our ceremony at San Sophia Overlook and reception at Gorrono Ranch. The venues were impeccable, service was organized and seamless, and the food…OMG, the food. Every guest I talked with said it was incredible. Chef Jared is a master!!!! These two locations are so beautiful on their own that you don't even really need decoration. We had no decor at all at San Sophia and it was breathtaking. You don't need it so don't waste your money on flowers etc. the beauty of the location is all you need!!\r\rDue to impending thunderstorms, our timeline was moved earlier than scheduled. TelSki did not miss a beat. That takes a lot of effort on their part! Our hungry guests arrived a full hour early to the reception site, but TelSki hustled to get everything ready. Once you're there, you don't have to drive because they have gondolas that will take you into town where you can do shopping and eating and another gondola that takes you a little market so you can get groceries or whatever you need. The service was awesome. We arrived, they parked our car for us, took our luggage up for us, and even showed us around our room and told us about the features. We drove up to visit and saw the San Sophia Overlook and knew that we could stop looking, there is where we would be getting married. Holli and Lacy were absolutely fantastic in helping us get everything situated and organized from helping us find a potential rehearsal dinner location to a hotel that we could secure a room block at. They do a lot of weddings but they don't seem to have any trouble keeping them all straight! They were extremely helpful when it came to working out all the details. The one thing I highly recommend though is to hire a day of coordinator or local planner. Getting in touch with everyone in the Telluride area was difficult so having someone there that knows who to talk to and everything was extremely helpful. We did our reception at the Tomboy Tavern and that place was also exceptional. Telluride isn't the easiest place to get to but once you are there it is amazing!
