Under the Urban Outfitters umbrella, Terrain at Styer's in Glen Mills, PA, can host multiple wedding formats, including micro weddings for up to 50 guests and larger weddings for up to 110 guests. Our venue is located 30 minutes from Philadelphia and the airport. As our flagship location, we have hosted weddings for many years and offer an exceptionally experienced and supportive team to make your wedding day a true celebration of love. We are here to make life easier and wedding planning fun again! We do not have surprise add-on costs or additional fees. We aim to make the planning process seamless for you and your fiance. Amazing, professional and enthusiastic from the start. The only issue we heard of was there weren’t enough desserts and appetizers to go around, but people loved all of the food, setting, etc. I’d recommend them to anyone. coordinators Carla and Maura were amazing. Carla’s excitement was contagious and she took the anxiety out of the whole process.

I can’t even explain how glad I am that I had my wedding here. It’s was the first and only venue my husband and I visited and we knew immediately we wanted to get married here. It’s BEAUTIFUL and so cozy and cute. It’s definitely not everyone’s vibe (I feel like most people like a huge ballroom) but if you was something more cozy and low key this is perfect. It’s inside outside all day with a fire pit and s’mores later in the night! The scenery is so cute. Flowers and plans everywhere making the most beautiful photos. Terrain really knows their shit. Everything ran so smoothly I didn’t have to think about a thing. Courtney was our contact and helped us during the planning. She was great!! The food here is amazing. That’s another reason we loved it. SO many good options and so much better than the usual boring wedding food. All of my guest really enjoyed it. If I were to do it all over again I would choose this venue again. Highly recommend!!

We had our wedding at Terrain in August and we loved everything terrain did! The venue is so pretty, our photographer was able to use lots of different backgrounds. The venue has all the hookups ready for any DJ to plug into and the sound was great! Their list of preferred vendors was super helpful. The mushroom house was so charming and it was very helpful to have a place to keep our stuff during the wedding. The food was amazing! They had a big variety to choose from to accommodate everyone. The terrain staff was great, always there when you need them, and they were great about making sure we got to eat some of everything on the day! Our Terrain Support lead was Allison and we cannot say enough good things! She was so incredibly helpful in our planning meetings and in between via the portal messages. She answered all our questions, helped facilitate with vendors, and made sure we weren't missing anything! She was there on the day to make sure everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful event. We would highly recommend Terrain and Allison for anyone choosing an event venue!!

Terrain is an amazing place to get married. They do a phenomenal job from beginning to end and I would highly recommend. My venue coordinator Carla was the best. Terrain is an amazing place to get married. They do a phenomenal job from beginning to end and I would highly recommend. My venue coordinator Carla was the best. She was great at keeping us on track during the wedding planning process and she was even more amazing on the wedding day. The entire venue staff made my day so much better. Many of my guests told me it was best wedding they've ever been to and a large part of that was because of Terrain's venue staff.

If you’re contemplating Terrain at Styer’s as your wedding venue… Do it!!!! The Terrain team is clearly a well oiled machine—I felt so comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. Everyone is highly professional, organized, and great at what they do. The Terrain team goes above and beyond what a typical day-of-coordinator provides! All of the questionnaires leading up to the wedding and information shared was concise, visual, and so helpful to be able to refer back to as I booked with our other vendors (florals, photographer, etc). Our coordinator, Allison R, was a dream to work with—she’s highly organized, attentive, kind, and all around great vibes! We had the best day ever.

Terrain at Styer’s is the absolute most gorgeous and magical place for your wedding! We hosted an imitate wedding at Terrain and it was everything I dreamt it would be. Carla, our wedding coordinator, was simply the best. I can’t say enough great things about her. She made the entire planning process easy and stress free! The day of the wedding, the entire staff was outstanding and went above and beyond. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. The day was truly perfect! We had an amazing experience at terrain.Something that was really important to us was the food. We wanted it to feel like one of our dinner parties but with all of our friends. The dining room was beautiful and the courses were amazing. All of our guests raved about how good the food was - specifically the mushroom soup and the braised short rib! We also served the duck, and people said it was good, but the braised short rib and mushroom soup got the best reviews. You get to choose six passed appetizers, we picked the lobster roll, beef tartare, watermelon poke, cucumber gazpacho shooter, Brie and pear flatbread, and the broccoli with puffed quinoa. You also get to choose three desserts, we chose the cream puff, the crème brûlée, and the vegan cookie dough ball. We honestly wish we could have chosen more desserts they were all so good. Allison was our event coordinator and she was so on top of it. She made sure everything was perfect, and she worked with our wedding planner to coordinate a lot of things we were too busy to deal with. They know what they’re doing at terrain - they meet with you 6+ times (like every month 6 months before your wedding) and they have surveys and an online portal to keep track of everything. They also do things like set aside snacks and drinks for you in the mushroom house for after the ceremony so you can take a moment to eat before you see your guests again. It’s the little details like that that made us feel like we were in good hands. We liked that the venue came with bartenders, food, and a beautiful temple. We were also able to do a rose petal toss as we proceeded down the aisle and it was beautiful. I’m sure not all venues allow that, but because rose petals are biodegradable, they were allowed. Our tasting was in February for our May 29th wedding, and it was super fun. We opted to add the lavender lemonade because it was really good at the tasting but when we had it at the wedding it was super bitter. I don’t know if I’d recommend the lemonade after our experience if I’m honest. The timing of the day 4:30 to 10 was perfect. We weren’t too tired at the end of the night. We could get there at 2:30 for photos. And they let you have a rehearsal there the day before. Ours was at noon. We dropped off our alcohol and some decor the day before. You can’t get ready at the venue which is a little bit of a hassle, but you can get dressed there. The one thing to note about terrain is that they do *not* have a good bad weather plan if you have a guest list over ~30 people. Basically if it rains and you can’t be outside, your ceremony is moved into the hot house which can only fit like 30 people. We were so nervous about the weather for weeks in advance because we knew that we had a ton of people coming in from out of town and if the weather was bad only 30 of them would get to see the ceremony. Not only that but a lot of our details relied on being outdoors (a cotton candy vendor, yard games, our 75 guests, the evening fire pit with s’mores, and some people do sparkler send offs). I love terrain and we were lucky to have perfect weather, but if you are an anxious person you might want to pick a venue that has a better back up ceremony spot that can fit everyone. Good weather is a huge detail that you can’t control that I didn’t think about until about 6 weeks before the wedding.

We fell in love with this venue from the moment we first saw it and that lasted throughout the end of our wedding night. This event space is GORGEOUS. Lush greenery, magical twinkle lights and raw wood lend for the perfect wedding aesthetic. The food is AMAZING and plentiful. Make sure you opt in the end of the night cookie favors! Our wedding was in May, so springtime, but truly you can't go wrong with any season at this venue! The entire venue staff is incredibly on point, friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our coordinator helped us feel on track and comfortable along the way, and provided many other vendor recs that were all excellent.I turly cannot say enough good things about terrain. If you are looking for your venue...get booked on their calendar ASAP! You will not regret it!

We fell in love with this venue from the moment we first saw it and that lasted throughout the end of our wedding night. This event space is GORGEOUS. They sent us home with tons of goodie bags of food and dessert! Courtney and my bridal attendant just kept making everything run so smoothly and were so kind and attentive. Every vendor I hired got really excited that it was at Terrain and told me how amazing the food was, and they were right. Also, the design team is amazing- while pricey, you get what you pay for and I would urge you to use them. It comes out perfect and it's not really something you could do on your own. The vibe is perfect. Warm, cozy, rustic, positive vibes.

Allison is truly incredible. She ran our wedding like a well oiled machine. She never made me feel rushed but always kept us on task. No matter the crazy question I had for her she always responded in a timely manner while we were planning. Also shout out to Holly who was our attendant on the day of the wedding. The second my drink went empty she would come over and ask me if I needed anything. She was truly amazing. Every aspect of the planning process with the Terrain team was a dream. We always knew Terrain at Styers would be the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. We got engaged in November of 2020, found the venue in 2021 and fell in love with it. We were nervous to commit to the venue after it being the only one we saw, so we took some time to see other venues. As we toured other venues, we couldn’t stop thinking about Terrain. We knew it was meant to be our venue. After a few more walk thru-s and many questions, we booked our date with Kelsey. Kelsey was extremely patient and easy to work with. Since we had a micro wedding (50 people), the Terrain wedding coordinator reached out to us 3 months before to discuss the details. Our coordinator Carla was an angel. She helped us along in the process and kept us on track. Carla was there the day of the wedding, along with our bridal attendant Isabella, and other Terrain staff. They did a wonderful job making sure everyone was where they needed to be and that all looked great! Isabella always made sure I had what I needed and she even helped bustle my dress when my sister was struggling. The vibe and the energy of Terrain is undeniably intimate, magical and overall perfect for us. The farm to table food was delicious and the opportunity for BYOB was a huge hit with my husband. The convenience of an indoor and outdoor ceremony space, while having a separate space for the reception, and having another separate bridal suite was ideal! We highly recommend Terrain to everyone!

If you want a casual, down to earth, yet chic venue with the most incredible staff on the planet who will make your wedding go off seamlessly, your search is DONE my friends. We are not romantic fluffy wedding types and we did away with virtually all traditions that were not personal. That being said, we wanted bomb food, drinks, and had a particular aesthetic for our January wedding. Terrain provides a coordinator who checks in every 1-2 mo with questionnaires and meetings to organize you, and our coordinator Courtney understood us entirely. She was both totally relaxed and also completely detail oriented, 2 perfect qualities in a coordinator. Terrain also provides a bridal attendant the day of, which I did not expect and who was so integral in making the day special and enjoyable for me and my husband. She trailed me everywhere, held my fur wrap and bouquet whenever the photographer didn't need me to have it, brought it when I went outside, offered us prosecco and soft drinks in the mushroom house, brought us cocktails throughout the night, and let us know whenever a new course arrived at our table to make sure we ate. She arranged a special private date moment for just us two right after the ceremony in the mushroom house (the house reserved for the bridal party) to taste all our appetizers and all our specialty cocktails. I didn't have to worry about a single detail. I was completely blown away by all the staff - friendly, smart, unique individuals who were totally on top of it all night long. The bartenders impressed us and gave my little nephew kid \"cocktails\" all night long. It was also very obvious that Terrain also treats its vendors exceptionally well and this was very important to us - every vendor told me they loved working with Terrain.We hired Allaire Rentals for a cute lounge in the hot house and Aaron from 13th St Cocktails to do multiple specialty cocktails and oven fired handmade pizzas. The latter was the hit of the night and I would work with him 100 times over again... Everything was 10/10 and the food was 7/10. The food was spectacular on paper and then in practice, making 80+ entrees all at once is just difficult for anyone. I recommend the braised short rib and staying away from the herb crusted cod (lacked flavor, roasted kale was a bit soggy) and mushroom risotto (zero flavor whatsoever, represented well by the bright whiteness of its color...). We got the raw bar and an extra course of squash soup and those were great. We had read a review about a winter wedding being cold and were worried, but did not experience this at all. I wore a sleeveless dress and felt appropriately warm the entire night. Our guests even all went outside to get pizza from 13th St Cocktail's pizza truck and make s'mores.

We loved having our wedding at Terrain. When we first saw the space I knew that this was where I wanted to get married. The venue on its own is so unique and beautiful. The staff that we worked with up to the wedding as well as the staff supporting us the day of were very thorough and helpful. We had plenty of options to choose from for food selections ( not to mention they brought us in for an amazing and generous food tasting ) and everything we had was fantastic. Another thing I loved about having our wedding here was all of the different spaces available at the venue. There were plenty of areas for people to hang out, giving everyone a space to connect and enjoy the night.

Terrain was the perfect venue for me and my husband. Their indoor and outdoor spaces are so beautiful that the only additional decoration we added were minimal flowers. Since it is an intimate space, we are glad that we were under their guest maximum so we had a little extra space for guests at their tables. The food was beyond amazing and have heard from so many guests how great it was. Our coordinator Carla (from terrain) was so helpful throughout every step of the process and especially on the day of. We cannot recommend Terrain enough.

If we could get married at Terrain again, we definitely would, just to work with the amazing staff all over again! Terrain has been my dream fall wedding venue for years and we are so fortunate a Saturday spot opened up (I thought I was dreaming)! We hired both Terrain as our venue and Design by Terrain as our florist and cannot recommend them both enough. Terrain, and especially our planner/coordinator Carla, was such a dream to work with. We didn't hire a formal wedding planner, so Carla basically stepped into the role - she consistently put our minds at ease and assured us that things would be okay. She was incredibly dependable and thought of every little detail. I must have emailed her 10 questions a week and she responded to each and every message in a very calm and timely manner. The staff was also wonderful - everyone was so kind, pleasant, and welcoming. Truly a top notch venue with top notch staff! Design by Terrain was also so skilled in turning my fall vision into a reality. In fact, their work blew my vision out of the water! I was so emotional when I saw the stunning florals on our wedding day - 100% better than my Pinterest board. We had the time of our lives and a huge part of that was due to Terrain - thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We'll be back soon!

Terrain at Styer's is just one of those venues with countless raving reviews and I felt it was only appropriate to add mine to that ever-growing list because of how amazing the entire team was throughout the entire process from initial booking to final wedding morning. Their services are truly second to none and I hope this review serves as yet another glowing testament to how pleased my wife and I were on our wedding day when we saw everything come to fruition. And all of what came to life was largely due to our awesome, seemingly psychic wedding planner/coordinator Courtney from Terrains who not only accommodated all of our nuanced requests leading up to our big day but also seemed to somehow be in multiple places at once during the morning of our brunch wedding. Shelly, our personal attendant, made sure my wife and I had everything we needed throughout the day and even offered some drinks and a free pep talk as I anxiously waited for our first look. Pure class. Throughout the day, countless guests repeatedly told us how the venue was perfect in how quaint and beautifully rustic/bohemian it looked while others commented how particularly intimate everything felt for our 100 guest size. My Korean mother who doesn't particularly enjoy food outside of our home country even mentioned how the appetizers and her seared sirloin entree was \"very good\" - a feat in and of itself! Even with the stresses that came with planning a wedding, my wife and I agreed we both wish we could relive our wedding day as it all just somehow came together in the most perfect way. Thank you Terrains and especially Courtney/Shelly for making it all come to life!

If you are planning on having a wedding with approximately 100 or fewer people, you MUST have your wedding here!Everything about this venue made for the perfect and most stress-free wedding planning experience and day we could have possibly imagined! We live halfway across the country and were unable to tour venues, but we were incredibly impressed with the beauty of the venue from pictures, and also the responsiveness of the staff.Around 6 months before the event, we were assigned an event manager, Courtney, who met with us once a month. During the monthly meetings, we discussed our ideas, visions for the day, had our questions answered, and completed questionnaires. The questionnaires were essential for keeping us on track with planning the entire day. By the time we were a couple months out from the wedding, we were calm with the knowledge that all of our questions had been answered, all of our wishes had been heard, and all of our questionnaire data had been translated into a clear schedule and timeline that we were able to share with our DJ and photographer.During the day, everything went flawlessly! From vendor load-in to keeping schedule for pre-ceremony photos, ceremony timing, and all of the reception details – it was amazing! Plus, they offer a small detail that made all the difference. After the ceremony, my bride and I were encouraged to take a few minutes to ourselves in the mushroom house (bridal suite on site) where the staff had left a plate of passed hors d'oeuvres and two of our signature cocktails. It allowed us to spend a quiet moment together and eat some food so we could spend more time with our guests! The food and bar service were next level! The wait and bar staff were professional, speedy, and made for a super efficient and enjoyable experience for us and our guests. The food was also amazing! Such a great variety of hors d'oeuvres, main dishes, and desserts to suit all dietary restrictions and preferences. Our guests loved the s’mores and firepit outside (October wedding). We had family style plating, which we loved!In summary, this venue was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the food was incredible, and it made for a perfect night!

Our wedding at Terrain was more than a dream come true. Initially, it was at the top of / over our budget. However, since our big day, my husband and I have said a dozen times that it was 150% worth every. single. penny. I promise you, you will not have as good of an experience at any other venue like you can have at Terrain. Throughout the entire process, they were quick to respond, offer advice, ideas, feedback. Then six months out, the event manager / coordinator they assign you is a fairy godmother. Eileen went above and beyond more times than I can count to make sure our day was everything we dreamed it to be. She pulled every little string she could, made sure we felt happy and comfortable every step of the way, and was just a blessing, truly. The actual day of, I have never felt so attended to in my life. Constantly being asked if there was anything I needed, a drink, snack, picture taken, something held for me, a family member found, literally anything. During our ceremony and reception was no different. Eileen also touched based with us throughout the entire night. I have nothing but amazing words for Terrain. I first fell in love with pictures I saw online without even seeing it in person, and I'm so glad my heart led us to Terrain. I wouldn't have a changed a single thing. A million and one thanks to everyone over at Terrain -- YOU'RE THE BEST!!

We could not be happier with our experience at Terrain! We fell in love with it the moment we saw it and new this was place for us. The aesthetics and vibe were what drew us to it originally. However, the staff, food, and experience only furthered our special day. We got so many compliments on the food and everything we had was absolutely delicious (even our vegan friend commented that it was the best vegan food she's ever had at a wedding!!). The staff was so helpful and organized throughout the whole process. The monthly phone calls were so helpful to us but also to the coordinators who fully embraced and executed our vision. And the service the day of the wedding can not be topped. Every staff member was so in tune to our needs and were there when/if we needed anything.Lasty, the grounds and all of the structures on the property made for amazing pictures!! You can not take a bad picture here.Overall, I can not recommend Terrain enough. Our wedding day was the best day ever and it was all thanks to the wonderful staff at Terrain (special shout out to Eileen and Allison!!)

Staff and our event coordinator, Eileen, were so incredibly helpful and attentive and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. They offered a great list of vendors which helped us choose our musician and rental place. The day of, we felt so special and were given time to sit back and take it all in which we so appreciated. Having our wedding at Terrain at Styer’s was a no brainer for us. I’ve known forever that I’d love to get married there & it was the first/only place we looked. When I tell you that the entire atmosphere, vibe, venue, down to every detail was absolute perfection. EVERYONE commented on our venue and how amazing it was/best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food was probably the number one compliment we got. Seriously, best food ever and the fact that Terrain is one of the only venues that offers family style is so special!! We chose this style for our wedding and are still receiving compliments on how it felt like a big holiday dinner and so intimate. From the first moment of booking until the end of the night, the staff there (shout out Eileen!) made everything so easy from planning to our tasting to the actual day where we were checked on & made sure everything was going perfectly. Dana, my bridal attendant, was so sweet & seriously made me feel so special while making sure I didn’t have to lift a finger. Honestly, I would choose terrain over & over again and would advise couples to look nowhere else!! Best of the best! The vibes, food, staff, everything 100000/10! Take me back. Thank you to everyone at Terrain! We love you!

Having our wedding at Terrain at Styer’s was a no brainer for us. I’ve known forever that I’d love to get married there & it was the first/only place we looked. When I tell you that the entire atmosphere, vibe, venue, down to every detail was absolute perfection. EVERYONE commented on our venue and how amazing it was/best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food was probably the number one compliment we got. Seriously, best food ever and the fact that Terrain is one of the only venues that offers family style is so special!! We chose this style for our wedding and are still receiving compliments on how it felt like a big holiday dinner and so intimate. From the first moment of booking until the end of the night, the staff there (shout out Eileen!) made everything so easy from planning to our tasting to the actual day where we were checked on & made sure everything was going perfectly. Dana, my bridal attendant, was so sweet & seriously made me feel so special while making sure I didn’t have to lift a finger. Honestly, I would choose terrain over & over again and would advise couples to look nowhere else!! Best of the best! The vibes, food, staff, everything 100000/10! Take me back. The venue is so beautiful and already adorable as is, we simply added some greenery to the tables and a few personal touches that terrain was happy to set up for us. They helped us with the seating chart, and even knew who had food allergies and served them properly and personally during the event. Our guests also raved about the service and how they never had a moment without food or felt like they were waiting for anything! We also loved that they created a special moment for us in the bridal suite with our signature drinks and the passed hors deouvers to eat together right after the ceremony! We can’t wait to go back and celebrate anniversaries and special events at the amazing restaurant and relive our day. I couldn’t recommend them more! Where to start.. Terrain was truly the most magical place we could have held our wedding. We booked Terrain in early 2020 for our 2022 date before all the craziness of that year. My now husband and I hadn't visited in person, as we lived across the country at the time - so my parents visited for us. When we visited for the first time, we instantly knew we made the best decision ever.The entire planning process was incredibly easy as well. Our coordinator was Carla, and words can't describe how amazing she truly was. She cared about our wedding just as much as we did, and she put so much time into planning with us. We got along great and I'm literally so sad that planning with her is complete!The day of the wedding ran so smoothly, and our bridal attendant Isabel was the best! Each member of Terrain coordinated beautifully together (and with my own personal coordinator too) and it all just went amazing as possible.The food... oh my goodness, we knew going into this that food at Terrain was amazing, but they truly outdid themselves more than expected. We got so many compliments on every single item, and our guests were so impressed. We used Design by Terrain for our florals, which was a great decision as well. They truly nailed my vision, and I was in awe by how beautiful everything was. I truly cannot recommend Terrain at Styer's enough- My wedding was perfect because of the gorgeous property and staff. From linens and tableware to the soap used in the bathrooms, everything is hand selected to fit the aesthetic of this gorgeous, naturally rustic venue. Our guests LOVED the layout of the venue, and commented several times on how spacious it was while still feeling intimate. I also had real peace of mind knowing that if the weather had been bad the day of, I had a built in contingency plan. The food is a 10/10- Nothing like traditional wedding food. I'm still dreaming about the short rib and polenta and mini lobster rolls. We also enjoyed a lot of flexibility within our budget being able to bring our own alcohol. The cost of the venue was well worth it given everything that was included (i.e. tables/chairs, all glassware, bar mixers, card box, table numbers, runners, etc.). That being said, the BEST part of working with Terrain was our event manager Carla, and her manager Eileen. Carla handled everything, from fielding questions from my family members during the planning process, to making sure my bar signage and place cards were set up the day of. She kept our wedding party on task during our rehearsal and made sure my husband and I had moments throughout our wedding day to enjoy our own wedding, rather than getting swept up in all the excitement. After the ceremony, we were ushered back to the mushroom house where we had a whole tray of appetizers and our signature drink waiting for us to enjoy while we soaked in the first few minutes of being married. I essentially felt like I had built-in wedding planner while working with them. If you are considering working with Terrain, this review should be your sign to just do it. I almost wish I could get married again just to celebrate there once more :). Thank you, Carla and Terrain for such a perfect day!

The best venue of all time. It's BYOB and costs much less than a handful of other locations in the area - plus, it's beautiful! The coordinator they set us up with, Courtney, was so so amazing and I loved working with her and the team. Absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for something smaller (under 110 guests). Catering, bartenders, staff, seating arrangements, etc. is all included in the venue pricing. Only call out is that it's BYOB which was a bit of a pain picking up/dropping off. You can even source design/florals internally through their Design by Terrain team.

My now husband and I got married at Terrain at Styer's in April 2022 and it was the most amazing experience. From the very beginning the Terrain staff was welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly, and accommodating. We were guided through the whole process, and that made our day extremely smooth and incredible, truly like a fairytale. The staff allowed us to have a unique unity ceremony (there was intentional fire!) and made sure everything went perfectly. The decorations and general atmosphere were stunning and fit our vintage vibe. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We had it served family style which made the dinner more intimate and casual (which we wanted). The temple where the ceremony was held was beautiful and rustic, and it led to a perfect picture at the end of the night when it was all lit up. The night ended with a sparkler send off which was beautiful and fun (I highly recommend). The staff at Terrain are amazing and knowledgeable, and they will answer any and all questions (Thanks, Carla!!). Terrain made the vendor and food planning a breeze. I would love to have another event here in the future!

My husband and I have mixed feelings about our wedding at Terrain. While the venue itself is stunning, there were some glaring disparities on the day of our wedding that we feel like should have been handled more professionally - especially coming from a venue that hosts multiple weddings nearly every weekend out of the year. When we had our first walk-through at Terrain, our main concern was the outdoor ceremony space being located next to an active driveway. We were assured that on the day of our wedding that the driveway would be blocked off to traffic. That was NOT the case on our wedding day. Two minutes after our ceremony started, a truck came down the driveway, parked right next to where the ceremony space was, and loudly idled for nearly the whole duration of the ceremony. No one from the Terrain staff went to tell the truck to leave or at the very least to turn off their engine until the ceremony was over. We have no idea why a truck was even allowed into the driveway during the ceremony. My husband and I both feel that this is completely unacceptable for this to have happened and are extremely discouraged that it did. We will not be able to use the audio from our ceremony because the truck drowned out most of it. We will never be able to get that moment back. Another thing that was lacking was the communication day of. After we finished our ceremony, my husband and I were told to go into the Mushroom House (the bridal suite on site at Terrain) until our photographer came to get us for family pictures. Nearly a half hour went by where no one knew where we were. Thankfully, our photographer managed to find us; he told us that no one communicated anything to him about where we were. We then had to rush through our family pictures before dinner started. There was little communication throughout dinner as well; both our maid of honor and best man had no idea when they were supposed to give their speeches and they had to squeeze them in after dinner was over. We feel as though there should have been better communication from a venue that does weddings so regularly. Although the venue itself is stunning, the Terrain staff was nice, and the food was fantastic, we feel as though the cons far outweigh the pros. There are things that should not have happened, and after the amount of money that we spent to have our wedding at Terrain, we are frustrated that they did.

We got married at terrain this past weekend, and it was honestly such a dream. From the beginning, Kelsey was so responsive with our initial questions. When we met with her in person to see the venue, she was so down to earth and honest. Terrain was actually the first and only venue we visited - it was a no brainer after seeing the space and chatting with her!Once the wedding planning actually started (after an amazing night for the tasting!), Eileen was great. Eileen, Carla and Isobel were so sweet and kind, thinking of all the small details. Eileen kept the entire night on schedule and took away all the stress, Isobel (the bridal attendant) really never left my side and was so helpful and kind, and Carla helped make the venue look so beautiful. I did DIY decorations and had a some friends come early to help set them up as we were taking pictures before the ceremony. My friends told me after that Carla (and really the whole team) went above and beyond to help them with setting up too!Since the wedding, my family and friends have not stopped talking about how beautiful the venue is, how friendly all the staff is, and how delicious the food was. It was truly a perfect evening thanks to terrain and the amazing team!

It was perfect and everything we had imagined plus more. You pick the small details and leave it up to them to put the big picture all together. They know what they are doing, they are very professional and listen to you to get your vision just right. They are well known for a reason. The food was outstanding. The service was incredible. Eileen is an amazing event planner, amazing communication. Our ceremony was even delayed slightly by 30 mins to an hour and they adjusted the rest of the nights plan seamlessly. Thank you so much! We met monthly via zoom or phone call and every scheduled visit, she answered all our questions (sometimes silly questions) and put our minds at ease regarding covid restrictions, timelines, napkin colors, food selections, etc. I was beyond excited to have a wedding at Terrain just simply due to the aesthetics and vibe - and Courtney made me that much more confident in our decision. She was with us every step of the way - I felt like I could email her anything. We felt extremely cared for throughout the entire process up until when our wedding reception ended. We both trusted Courtney with all of her recommendations and she did NOT disappoint or let us down in the slightest. The day of, Courtney and the Terrain team were POWERHOUSES. We honestly felt like the most important people in the world - whatever we needed, we got - I even had a slight freak out about the neon sign I brought in (it was missing the power cord) and Courtney had her staff on the phone with Target to see if they had any cords in stock ( I MEAN COME ON! - how amazing is that? ) Luckily somehow she found one on site which put my mind to ease immediately. I will never forget the amazing staff and especially Courtney, and how cared for, me and my now husband, felt that day. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough. Our photographer helped us find this venue this past February when we shifted from a large 100+ person wedding to a 22 person microwedding. Kelsey and Dana were AMAZING and so helpful leading up to the wedding with planning. They truly allow you to make it personal to you as a couple and are so accommodating! The day of the wedding the team jumped right in- helping to set up where they could, followed us with food/drinks during photos so we didn’t pass out LOL, and something that really stood out to me was when the belt on my dress snapped during dancing…one of the staff came right to the rescue with a safety pin to keep it up so I could continue dancing and not stress! They all work together to really make sure your day is seamless. If there were any hiccups in the day, we really wouldn’t know because of how on top of things the venue staff were! Guests and vendors were raving about how delicious the food was and how welcoming the staff were to them. & of course, the venue itself it STUNNING and the perfect location for an intimate wedding like we had dreamed of!

The Terrain staff was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. Courtney helped to plan our big day and made sure that every detail was accounted for. My wife and I had the pleasure of getting married here on May 8th, 2021. We choose Terrain because of the low key ambiance and the natural beauty of the venue. Julia and I wanted a small candlelit dinner with our family and friends instead of the the stuffy big ballroom with purple lights. We had approx 90 guests. We got exactly that and we could not be happier with our decision. This venue is great for anyone who has family members who have disabilities/trouble walking/wheelchairs. The food… the FOOD was dynamite. Living in NYC for 6 years ruined our taste buds in a good way so we had to have the best food on our day. The apps were all delicious (if on the menu- shrimp and grits, tuna poke, Philly cheesesteak were all winners!) We’ve been to soooo many weddings where the dinner is untouched/half eaten/uncooked chicken/cold or the steak tastes like chicken and well let’s just say people ate the whole dinner or doggie bags were sent home… not thrown away. All the guests raved about the food for days after the wedding. Courtney was an amazing coordinator! She answered all of our questions and made it fun to “plan our wedding”. Every phone call was easy. She took the stress away. Terrain gives you a timeline to stay on which is really beneficial. On May 8th, during our vows we had rain come down and Terrain had umbrellas for our guests. The service was impeccable and have no negative comments, only positive! Bartenders and servers were on point. We wish we could relive this day everyday! (not just on video haha)

We were actually supposed to get married last August 2020 but had to move our date to July 2021 because of COVID, and Terrain was very accommodating to our needs and throughout the re-planning. Omg minus getting married and having my daughter, booking Terrain was the best thing I ever did. Not only is the venue just absolutely gorgeous (like literally not one bad backdrop) and the food insanely delicious (food is to die for, people are still raving about the food at my wedding), but the staff here is outstanding - like I can’t say enough great things about them and express my gratitude enough. Kelsey, Eileen, and Dana are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They went above and beyond for us. Even the menu tasting is so personalized and intimate. We postponed our wedding bc of Covid and they could not have been more supportive and accommodating. I heard horror stories from my engaged friends whose venues fought them about postponing. Not Terrain. They gave us every option possible and even sent us a little care package in the mail. They worked with us every step of the way and stayed in communication with us the whole way through. They made me feel so special and really made this experience so memorable - Kelsey even personally texted me the morning of my wedding with such kind words. I honestly teared up. I could never have imagined the staff caring about me so much and being so genuinely excited for me. All of them feel like friends now and I can’t wait to find excuses to book more events at Terrain so I can work with them again. Seriously just book them - you won’t regret it. My day was absolutely magical and I 100% credit Terrain and the staff for that - I could not have asked for a better venue. Eileen - I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for coordinating my whole day flawlessly & easing all my anxieties. And HUGE shout out to ISABEL!!! Omg - best bridal attendant a girl could hope for. She was my right hand the whole day, running around for me like crazy and just the absolute sweetest girl in the world. Thank you!!

From our first few conversations and tour with Kelsey to make the (best) decision for booking to working closing with our day of coordinator, Courtney (and her team that day!! Thank you so much to everyone that day!) we were consistently impressed with their professionalism and kindness. They were always willing to work with us and provided their feedback along the way. We selected Terrain because we wanted a microwedding and their long-term experience with hosting these types of events is above and beyond what we were finding anywhere else. They have perfected the microwedding experience-look no further!!We loved that the venue is all inclusive and how easy the payment structure was. Everything is clearly spelled out in the contract. It’s also great that they are a BYOB-you can really custom your bar for the kind of day you want to have! Best of all, the food is outstanding; seasonal, fresh, farm to table cooking that is beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests are still talking about the food!! The venue at Glen Mills is breathtaking-you won’t be disappointed by the photos you’ll capture or the backdrop you might select for your ceremony. There are only best case options! We love that we can also continue to return to the cafe to enjoy meals and reminisce about how beautiful our wedding was! Thank you so much to our wonderful team at Terrain. The team at Terrain were absolutely incredible to work with. They were very understanding and flexible with the pandemic, upping their safety protocols and doing everything they could think of (and they're a pretty creative bunch) to execute a memorable event within the current Covid restrictions. Our 35-person wedding was an absolute dream, and almost every guest commented on how great the service was and how smooth everything went. The hospitality really stands out. And of course, the venue itself is GORGEOUS. I couldn't have asked for a better setting and team.

We absolutely love Terrain!!! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is an absolute dream. We were supposed to have our ceremony this March of 2021. With Covid we had a few set backs and its just not possible for us this year. They were extremely understanding and have expanded our options to really make any type of celebration possible. When we are able to put together a full celebration once Covid has settled, we will certainly be reaching out to Terrain to plan our perfect day.

We absolutely love Terrain!!! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is an absolute dream. We were supposed to have our ceremony this March of 2021. With Covid we had a few set backs and its just not possible for us this year. They were extremely understanding and have expanded our options to really make any type of celebration possible. When we are able to put together a full celebration once Covid has settled, we will certainly be reaching out to Terrain to plan our perfect day.

Due to COVID, we decided to cancel our big wedding at another venue and booked terrain for a 25 person micro wedding in the hot house. If you’re looking for a story book, photogenic venue with great food and staff, this is your place. I was very sad to give up my big wedding dreams but was glad I could at least have something small that my guests and I would remember forever where I could take beautiful pictures. Kristin was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She’s good at her job. 2 weeks before the wedding my husband got covid and as you can imagine, it was a very emotional time but terrain was incredibly flexible and understanding and they worked with us to postpone shortly after. Some might think it’s pricey but in life you get what you pay for and you truly get good quality service and food here. I’d recommend it to anyone and people have already inquired about it since posting some of the beautiful pictures. My guests are still talking about how dreamy it was.

I'm happy that we decided to downsize because our wedding at Terrain was amazing. The space was beautiful and the people were fantastic to work with. Courtney was the best and helped us every step of the way. Our families kept telling us how friendly the staff was all night and how great the food was. I only wish I could have eaten more food because it was delicious. I highly recommend Terrain at Styer's to anyone who wants a beautiful, tasty, and low stress wedding. We had our wedding at Terrain in November 2019 and it was the best decision we made. It was only the second venue we ever looked at, but we immediately fell in love with it. The space was gorgeous and perfect for the 100 person wedding we were planning. Our coordinator Kristin was very knowledgeable and made me feel so much less stressed during the whole planning process. The venue was very accommodating, they nailed our signature cocktails and added hot chocolate for the ceremony last minute since it was a chilly day. The food was also amazing, we still have guests say that it was one of the best wedding dinners they’ve ever had (and one of the best weddings they attended in general).The bridal suite attendant was the best, she brought us over appetizers from the cocktail hour and kept people out of the bridal suite after the ceremony so that my husband and I could catch a breath before the reception started and she even helped me and my bridesmaids with my bustle.The décor, the space, the lights, and the firepit with smores made the atmosphere very cozy and magical, which was perfect for a late fall wedding. I cannot thank everyone at Terrain more for making our wedding day unforgettable.

I would highly recommend having your wedding at Terrain at Styers. For our wedding the garden shed and the mushroom hut were just amazing. The decorations were just beautiful and it just looked so great and made our special day feel like a dream. There was a large menu available in terms of food and they were all delicious. If you’re not booking terrain in glen mills for your wedding, you’re doing it so wrong. My husband and I were a COVID cancel/reschedule couple. When we decided to pull the plug on our destination wedding for August in April, I reached out to terrain(because it’s absolutely gorgeous and that’s been my dream venue if I ever did anything in the states) just to see what can be done (in all honesty, we were assuming nothing this year with it being super close to our desired date). I first worked with Kelsey who was absolutely fantastic. Professional, understanding, kind, knowledgeable and extremely responsive. She welcomed my husband and myself and literally worked so hard to get us a date close to our original and always kept us in mind with all the moving pieces. We got September 12 2020 which was absolutely perfect (the day was literally perfect even down to the weather). We then worked with Eileen who, just like Kelsey, is seriously the sweetest, easiest going, professional, understanding, kindest, and most responsive person we’ve ever worked with. Planning a wedding is seriously a pain- cancelling it, rescheduling and planning it again during a pandemic is just a nightmare. Eileen and her team literally took so much stress off my when it came to planning the wedding there. The process was as painless as it gets but the biggest thing why I say terrain is amazing is because they literally built a wood floor and got a tent at no extra charge for couples when the state of PA decreased indoor gatherings so couples have the option of an outdoor wedding rather than postpone or cut people (honestly terrain is SO beautiful so having it outside and under lights was amazing). I literally haven’t heard of any other venue to do that. Other brides and friends that I know who got married in 2020 have told me nightmares about their venues- from charging them a transfer fee for a different date due to a pandemic because the venue isn’t doing any type of accommodating for outdoors- to telling them if they’re outside regardless of meeting the PA guidelines, they can’t dance because people aren’t 6 feet away & there is no money reimbursement. Terrain as a business is how a business should be run. They do right by their clients especially when things are out of everyones control like they are this year. Our wedding was seriously amazing. Not many people this year can say they had the wedding of their dreams- we did. Our guests who’ve never been there LOVED it and those who have been were so pumped we told them where it was. We don’t need to have another wedding next year. Terrain literally made our dreams come true. We were extremely fortunate enough how the cards fell for us. I can’t stress enough how much they are the perfect choice. From the staff, to the food, to the decor, to the ambience- it’s so perfect. Kristin, Kelsey, and the staff at terrain know what they're doing! Like many 2020 couples, my husband & I had our original wedding plans derailed by Covid. Less than 3 months before our wedding day, we booked terrain's Hot House package which included 30 guests. A few weeks later, we were thrown another curveball when Gov. Wolf limited indoor gatherings to 25 people. Terrain's response (quickly communicating with all couples about how they planned to handle these restrictions, as well as our options) really solidified that we were in amazing hands! Terrain even thought of ways to make the day safer than we had not considered, such as individually plating the cheese board. Once we arrived on our wedding day, the entire day was seamless from start to finish. We especially appreciated that following our ceremony, they had two of each our our passed appetizers and glasses of prosecco for us to enjoy while we took a few minutes together as newlyweds in the Mushroom House. Our 20 guests were beyond impressed with the venue, the staff, and the attention to detail. Terrain will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful to have celebrated our marriage with them! We'd like to especially thank Kristin for her calm professionalism.

I will forever be grateful for Terrain at Styers. Every corner of the property is stunning and such a beautiful backdrop for your wedding. Our wedding was gorgeous thanks to the Terrain team. We chose the Hot House package which is for a wedding with a guest count of 30. We wanted something small and intimate. The design team and coordinators set up meeting times so that you can come in and talk about your vision. They are very good at answering all of your questions via telephone or email. Very professional and reliable. I recommend hiring the design team for your flowers and details because they know the space and the vision you are capturing, as well as offer their own recommendations. Because the Terrain does their own catering, you only have to pick out the menu choices. Their food is delicious! Everyone was satisfied, especially the bride and the groom. So with the catering, the design team, and the coordinators, I didn't have to do one thing on my big day. I arrived on site an hour before the wedding for photos, walked down the isle, and danced the night away. The staff also clean up and gather your things for you. Terrain makes any wedding feel very special. My favorite thing was that you can have open flames so the night was lit by gold candlelight. We got married surrounded by hanging lanterns and candles on the floor. It was perfect for a February wedding. Magical and cozy and warm. I did not want the night to end.

From our initial discussions and meeting with Kelsey to all of the rest of the planning details with Kristin, and working with Katie and the Design by Terrain team for flowers, they left no detail unturned. Our guests are still telling us what an amazing time they had and how much they enjoyed the venue. It's been perfectly described as rustic yet elegant.When we were looking for a venue, besides availability on our timeline, the food was a big consideration. A bigger wedding definitely wasn't my husband's thing so his biggest ask was that we have good food, and not just food that's pretty good for wedding food. Well, he got his wish, and we keep hearing the same feedback from our guests. They have so many options to chose from you can really customize your menu to your liking. The bartenders were also amazing, and the BYOB was an added perk as we were able to build a bar to our liking.The actual venue itself is so beautiful. We had our ceremony inside the garden shed and the atmosphere could not have been more perfect. The staff expertly transitioned from the ceremony to cocktail hour which flowed right into dinner and dancing. The Design by Terrain team was great in making suggestions to help us add to the beauty of the garden shed with additional flowers and centerpieces.Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us and it rained all day, but it didn't even bother us one bit! Thankfully we were able to use the greenhouse for our first look where we got some really beautiful pictures. And we got some awesome night shots in the rain (thankfully Amazon came through with the clear umbrellas two days before the ceremony). The property was so lovely for photos with or without rain.Terrain provided a list of vendors they have worked with in the past and we took advantage of the list. We could not be happier with our photographer, DJ, and hair/makeup vendors. Excellent recommendations.Finally, what has stood out to me as the most special moment of the day was the use of the Mushroom House. After our ceremony was over, my husband and I went to the Mushroom House alone and had a few minutes to ourselves. We read the wedding vows we had written for each other. This moment stands out to me as something I will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives together.

And we got some awesome night shots in the rain (thankfully Amazon came through with the clear umbrellas two days before the ceremony). The property was so lovely for photos with or without rain.Terrain provided a list of vendors they have worked with in the past and we took advantage of the list. We could not be happier with our photographer, DJ, and hair/makeup vendors. Excellent recommendations.Finally, what has stood out to me as the most special moment of the day was the use of the Mushroom House. After our ceremony was over, my husband and I went to the Mushroom House alone and had a few minutes to ourselves. We read the wedding vows we had written for each other. This moment stands out to me as something I will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives together.

This is the Father of the Bride weighing in. WOW!I have planned and attended countless business and social events over the years...Terrain was simply an amazing venue! Kristin and her team had our daughter's wedding & reception so buttoned down...from ceremony to last dance!Our 110 guests were seamlessly guided from the ceremony to the cocktail reception and on to dinner.The servers were gracious and their timing perfect. The food was wonderfully prepared and our family style dinner format made for a fun experience.The charm of the Garden Shed was very special. Makes me wish I had another daughter to do it again!
