The 2K Reserve is an incredibly tranquil wedding venue situated in Hempstead, TX. Say "I do" in this picturesque location, surrounded by friends and family in a day that has been designed around and tailored to you. Choose from the various indoor and outdoor event spaces this venue offers. The dedicated team is there for you every step of the way to help make your dream wedding a reality. Located just 50 miles from Houston, The 2K Reserve is a 10-acre expanse nestled in nature with beautiful surroundings to enhance your big day. An ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, step into the countryside for a well-deserved break as you begin life's next adventure. Up to 300 guests can join you on the big day. Enjoy the calm waters surrounding the property, and take in the ambient sunsets this area is graced with. You can exchange vows at the waters edge under a beautiful arbor, on the spacious patio, in the traditional chapel, or in a covered 2,500 square foot space between the chapel and the reception hall. Then dine and dance the evening away either in the covered outdoor area or in the 4,900 square-foot reception area. You are welcome to decorate this space to suit your needs and match your wedding style and theme. A prep kitchen is available for you caterers to put finishing touches to your meal, along with a bar and wine cooler for bar services. There are 4 get-ready-suites on the property for you, your spouse, and your parties to prepare for the day ahead, all equipped with modern amenities for your convenience. I can’t say enough great things about the 2K Reserve and their staff. Kathy and Jason are the best! They took care of everything and made sure the day felt like it went off without a hitch. As the mother of the bride, it was a great feeling to watch the bride and groom enjoy their whole day and have the wedding they wanted without a care in the world. My husband and I chose to have our wedding at 2K, and we have ZERO regrets about our venue choice! Kathy & Jason are very professional and know their property/venue best. They took our vision and made every aspect of it come to life. When you book, you are also booking a day-of coordinator which is SO helpful come day-of! They took care of our table layout, vendors, guests, etc. and kept everything moving on our wedding day. They also have in-house staff to help staff your wedding day (bartenders, people to buss tables, etc.) We had zero complications on our wedding day, and if we did, they were sure to take care of it to where we had no idea of any issues. The venue is absolutely beautiful & has everything you need, including an inventory of decor (which is so so helpful)!! Kathy & Jason are also quick to respond at any point during the day or week, and puts your mind at ease. We are so thankful for Kathy & Jason, and the 2K Reserve team!

Our son's wedding at 2K Reserve was perfect in every way! Jason and Kathy took care of our needs and were so helpful all throughout the planning and the weekend. The venue has beautiful grounds, spacious chapel, reception area, bridal suite, groom suite and breezeway. They allow you to use your own vendors which is another big plus in my opinion. Highly recommend 2K to anyone looking for a beautiful venue that is very fairly priced compared to many other venues in the area. You will be in great hands at 2K!

Our son's wedding at 2K Reserve was perfect in every way! Jason and Kathy took care of our needs and were so helpful all throughout the planning and the weekend. Wow what an amazing experience. From day 1 Kathy and Jason have made this such an easy process. They always answered my questions with urgency. And on wedding day they were on top of everything with my vendors and made sure things were taken care of so that I would have a wedding day without being interrupted from bonding with my friends and family. The venue is so extravagant and made my princess dreams comes to life. I can’t thank them enough for making our special as wonderful as it was.

My daughter got married this past Friday (11.3.23). 2K Reserve is the BEST venue! Kathy and Jason are so knowledgeable and helpful with literally any question we had. They gave us an amazing wedding package; other families I talked to couldn’t believe all that was included for us. They were so accommodating, answering questions, letting us come tour the venue (MULTIPLE times with family and friends, lol). We were able to have rehearsal AT the venue the night before AND set up for an hour as well (although they already had all tables set up with linens and items we were using for centerpieces!). It took away so much stress!The day of, Jason checked on us multiple times, and both Kathy and Jason served as \"day of\" coordinators (another thing we didn't have to book), even making sure the wedding party had a tray of drinks to toast since they were still taking pics during cocktail hour.At the end of the night, everything we brought had been boxed up for us during their exit, and was waiting for us to load up. We were out in 30 minutes and relaxing at our airbnb within an hour from waving goodbye to the newlyweds!Literally could not recommend them more!Allie and Kyle Kretsinger

The staff here was amazing, we got the full package including DJ, linens, etc. It was beautiful, and day of coordination was immaculate. Kevin & his mom know what they’re doing! I will always recommend the 2k reserve. Venue is beautiful, so many great places for photos. The bridal suite is beautiful! The groomsmen suite is cozy and just perfect for them to spend time together and dress.

Kathy and Jason are your most trustworthy individuals to put your wedding into their hands. Their venue on both interior and exterior is always well kept and sleek clean. Throughout the whole process their communications with you gives comfort and relief that what you envision will come to life. They help substitute and have great input on all the ins and outs of your planning journey. Always so prompt and thorough. Which I’m so thankful for.Throughout my husband and I process, if there was any questions, concerns, or feeling uneasy— Kathy always made it a point to have an in person meeting vs email to help ease any discomfort. Which was always so simple within 5 mins of talking.From start to finish we received everything we could possibly imagine. It was a wonderful and beautiful wedding we will cherish and hold close to our hearts forever. I will forever talk about their venue and refer them as much as I possibly can. For I would want everyone to experience what we did. Honestly, you really can’t beat their promotions either! So I would highly recommend to view their venue. 2K Reserved is a beautiful venue, with two amazing coordinators. Jason and Kathy were both wonderful throughout the wedding planning, very responsive to emails, and allowed us to visit the venue as needed. The day of the wedding they were attentive and super helpful, I couldn't have asked for anything more. There was a moment in time when I was frustrated with one of the vendors and my wedding party Kathy read my face and stepped it, then when everything was done Jason was waiting with a drink he made himself. Amazing venue and so happy I chose them.

2K Reserved is a beautiful venue, with two amazing coordinators. Jason and Kathy were both wonderful throughout the wedding planning, very responsive to emails, and allowed us to visit the venue as needed. The day of the wedding they were attentive and super helpful, I couldn't have asked for anything more. There was a moment in time when I was frustrated with one of the vendors and my wedding party Kathy read my face and stepped it, then when everything was done Jason was waiting with a drink he made himself. Amazing venue and so happy I chose them.

They had everything very organized and that helped for the wedding day to run smoothly. We loved the beautiful property and so did our guests. Having your wedding at 2K Reserve will help you save money on your alcohol and bar. We brought in our own and used their bartenders. We loved being able to drop everything off the night before. They had the linens already on the tables and all of the centerpieces we had picked out from their huge supply closet. That also helps you save a lot of money! Their staff was very friendly on the day of the wedding. I loved that Kathy and Jason knew some of the best vendors in the business that I had worked with before. You will not be disappointed if you decide to have your wedding at this beautiful venue.

My husband and I looked at so many venues and 2K just had our hearts, not only was it beautiful but it was well taken care of which is hard to find. Jason layed everything out simply and made us feel welcome & answered every annoying little question I had. Kathy is the calmest person I’ve ever met , she was able to handle me the week before being bridezilla & the day of when I was worried about everything. Answering the same day & calling to help me walk through everything. Kathy and Jason know what they’re doing when it comes to weddings, they made the process so simple it was unbelievable. The day of they worked with us cutting and adding stuff out, almost making it seem like we planned it months before. I honestly can go on and on about 2K , Kathy and Jason from the bottom of Dexter & I’s hearts this was the best day ever and it’s because of you guys that we felt like everything would be okay. Thank you for calming us down and making us realize what the most important things are during our wedding day. You guys are amazing!

This venue was everything I ever wanted! The owners are so responsive, so helpful, so organized, and very thoughtful! We loved the layout, the decor they offer and the overall vibe of this location. We saved so much money by using the decor they provide and by having them coordinate the day of. I am so grateful for everything! They recommended a wonderful company for linens and it was all set up for us when we got there the day of. We got INCREDIBLE photos taken by Jason, the food recommendation was OUTSTANDING and everyone had a wonderful time! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our day magical. I will always recommend 2k Reserve!

This venue is a hidden gem! Kathy and Jason were very helpful and responsive to any and all emails and questions we had. The venue is beautiful and very well kept. They have a room filled with decorations you can choose from or bring your own in. I did a mixture of both. Kathy and Jason make the wedding planning process and the wedding do so much easier. They provide you with vendors they have worked with before and who they know will do a good job. Kathy and Jason take care of your day off coordination with your vendors so you do not have to worry about a thing. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was the perfect place for our wedding and the best day ever!

2K Reserve made my wedding process extremely easy. Ms.Kathy and Mr.Jason were knowledgeable, professional, available, and dedicated to ensuring that my day went Perfect! LocationThe greenery, ponds/lakes, chapel and reception area, and proximity to Houston made it ideal. At first I hesitant about the distance from Houston, but 98% of my guest showed up from all areas of Houston, so the distance wasn’t a problem at all! Resources The venue connected me to a linen vendor, Dj, food, photography , bar tenders, and provided me contact information for the hotel ( I’ll elaborate more below) … the vendors fees were connected to the venue payment( not the food) , so I didn’t have to remember to pay several invoices… overall I only paid 2 the venue & food! Day of Coordination Whoa! I can’t express how thankful I was for this service. My bridal party was pretty huge and Ms.Kathy and Jason were able to get everything right. Prior to the event, we had a walkthrough were I got to talk about my vision and get pointers from the two of them… a few days later I received my timeline to review, and it was eventually shared with the vendors. ( I didn’t have to communicate with anyone, Ms. Kathy handled everything. ) Decor 2K offers centerpieces, table decor, and more… I decided to bring a few of my own centerpieces, and Ms. Kathy added a few of her items and it was the perfect touch! If you go take a peak in the decor room, you will find your self saving a lot of money! Photography I decided to use Jason ( we hired 2 photographers) as my photographer because he knows the venue, is knowledge about proximity and when to take photo, and he didn’t disappoint… within 48 hours of the wedding I was able to see a few images from the day and they we stunning! I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Bar Service The bartenders hired the rough the venue were great! The service cups and ice and the mixologist made the custom drinks we requested to perfection! Everyone complimented them bar tenders! DJ We used DJ Hendrix from LG events and his ENERGY was Big! We partied ALL night. dJ Hendrix also met with us prior to the wedding to ensure that he understood our style and vision! Geeze… I wish I could go back one more time just to hear the music! Lodging Our guest stayed at the Best Western Plus and if you book 10 or more rooms they provide a shuttle to and from the venue. This experience allowed People to really enjoy themselves, because they had a designated driver….I can go on and on about this venue and about my day, but my ultimate Goal is to let another Bride know that 2K Reserve is the place to have your wedding! After looking at so many venues I fell in love with this one and I am SO happy I chose it. This is a family owned venue and Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Jason went above and beyond to make sure our special day was special in ever way imaginable. From connecting me with amazing vendors, checking in on me to make sure I was ok throughout the process and more they were amazing. I recommend using this venue 100 percent. My family has been talking about the wedding all day and how great the staff at the venue were.

After looking at so many venues I fell in love with this one and I am SO happy I chose it. This is a family owned venue and Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Jason went above and beyond to make sure our special day was special in ever way imaginable. From connecting me with amazing vendors, checking in on me to make sure I was ok throughout the process and more they were amazing. I recommend using this venue 100 percent. My family has been talking about the wedding all day and how great the staff at the venue were.

WOW. If I could give 2K Reserve 10 stars, I would. Kathy was the most positive, helpful, and transparent owner/coordinator. She made sure timelines were met and everything was incredibly organized. Our preparation and wedding day went on seamlessly because of Kathy and Jason. I cannot say enough good things about the service and care we received from these two to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Truly so grateful we found 2K Reserve. The venue is gorgeous. However, the way Jason specifically spoke to my husband, our families, our vendors and I was disrespectful and overbearing. They wanted specific documentation from our coordinators and continued to email me regarding it despite being asked to communicate with coordinators or my husband. We work in medical field and has enough stress to deal with without this being added. While you are getting ready you cannot drink liquor. They have a policy of NO shots at the venue AT ALL.

They gave us so much support that planning the wedding was made so much simpler. Their policies are very straightforward and simple to follow. This venue is about having a good time with your friends and family and not for the attention to be taken away from the ones being celebrated. We loved that they made sure that the attention was on my fiancée and I and that they made that day feel special by keeping our guests well taken care of as well. We thank them for that. Anyone looking for a venue you will not go wrong with 2K Reserve. I’d recommend this venue to anyone!

Kathy and Jason went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding at 2k Reserve! From the very beginning they helped us see everything that they could offer within the venue itself and what we may need outside of their assistance. Jason was our photographer for both our engagement and wedding and we are beyond happy with how beautiful all of our photos will be for years to come. Kathy is always two steps ahead on planning, decor, coordination, and everything in between and we couldn’t have survived without her either! Even on the day of, they were always right there to help with last minute set ups, adjustments, and keeping the flow of the day in check. They were both such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend 2k to anyone looking for a venue!

On the day of, I (the bride), was simple able to focus on getting ready and Kathy took on the role of coordinator of making sure everything was set up and had no stress or drama. By far the best and most amazing people to help you on your day. I could not have asked for a better team. Even when I was being crabby and tired of the heat Jason kept me calm and worked quickly to make sure I got every shot I wanted. Kathy is simply a saint. She coordinated everything down to the second and made everything so precious to me. No matter the hiccups they were there to assure me everything was going to be ok all the way up to the very end. The venue is very spacious and beautiful. I loved the dark wood and style of the building. It was also nice to have the ceremony and reception hall to be at the same location. I throughly enjoyed the 2 bridal suite rooms and my husband enjoyed the rooms set aside for his guys. Kathy was very organized and kept us on schedule making the day of very easy. Jason, our photographer, took amazing photos and the two of them really made the day as stress-free and fun as possible. The DJ, linens, and the on site decor was included in the package making the venue an easy choice.

They truly take care of their bride and groom like they would their own family, from the day we toured to the final moments of our wedding day. We had a unique experience of having to decide to postpone our wedding two days prior because of parents of the bride getting COVID, and to say that Kathy was my rock was an understatement. Since our first visit, we knew, without any doubts, this is where we wanted to get married. The venue is stunning and had PLENTY of room for guests. Kathy and Jason are literally the best people ever. Anytime we had a question or wanted to visit the venue, they responded so quickly and were always so friendly! They offered us so much advice when it came to planning, which helped us make the best decisions for our special day. We were able to use their in-house decorations (not that the venue needed much cause it is pretty on its own) and we were able to use their bridal/groom suite to get ready. Jason was our photographer for our engagement photos and wedding day, let me just say, he is so talented! He made us feel so comfortable while taking photos and we had a blast during our sessions. All of our vendors but one came from their recommendations and we had zero stress when it came to the vendors. The venue staff were so nice and helpful on our wedding day. We honestly could not have asked for a better venue. Kathy and Jason went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Having them by our side since day one has been such a blessing and an honor. Their insight on so many things is what made the whole wedding process easy. Not only did Kathy and Jason help with so much but the venue itself is so beautiful. We hardly needed any decorations because the venue speaks for itself. Just wanted to drop in here to say if you are looking for a wedding venue, the 2K Reserve is the place for you! Jason and Kathy were so helpful every step of the way, providing insight to what they have seen works best or not. My husband and I got married on June 26th, and the next morning we had to ask our parents if the cocktail hour snacks ever made it out because we were taking pictures and never saw/forgot about them. Their staff got them out of the fridge, cut them all up, and place them in the trays we bought without even being asked. You certainly won’t regret hiring them☺️

Kathy and Jason took care of contacting our vendors for us before the wedding day. Our wedding day was beautiful despite the storms that were occurring. It was a stress free day, thanks to Kathy and Jason! I had to do very little on this day which allowed me to just be present with my family, friends and husband! During our reception (toasts) the security/fire alarm went off. It was loud. The normal process for turning off the alarm was not working. The security officer we had there could not turn it off. Our wedding at 2k reserve was beautiful. Everything was spot on with the venue and it looked exactly the way we imagined it. While the venue owners were on time and very tactful with the time line, they also made us feel like they were rushing us to get things done. At times they appeared to be very intrusive and my husband and I felt that we didn’t really get to enjoy our time before the wedding. There were rules imposed upon us that were never spoken of before completing our payment and while I appreciate Mrs. Kathy keeping our guest out of the bridal sweet, she literally isolated me in a room by myself and refused to let any of us drink which is typically custom before a wedding. My husband and I received several complaints from our guests regarding how overbearing the owners were and it made them feel unwelcomed. There were also complaints that a few of our guests were told they could only have two drinks and we observed the venue owners monitoring alcohol consumption at our fully stocked “open” bar. Overall, very beautiful venue and place to get married, but the owners could certainly be less strict and less involved in Intimate moments with the wedding party.

The venue is absolutely breath taking! The ability to really transform it to your vision is easy, and having 2 rooms for both the groom quarters and bridal suites made it comfortable for large crowds to gather. I cannot express enough how beautiful this place is. The main complaints my husband and I had are:1. The venue owners are extremely involved and privacy feels lacking at times. We hired a wedding coordinator and at times it seemed they tried to take over her role.2. They venue staff had packed up all of our ceremony decorations before we had even finished taking sunset pictures. This was disappointing as my husband and I hoped to go back in to savor in the moment a little longer. They also started to pack up our reception hall DURING our private last dance. Even though the contract states pack up was an hour after the “end time”. Our photographer had to actively work to get our last dance photos without staff cleaning in the background.3. On the day of the wedding the venue owners gave a tour to prospective clients. This was not something we thought would happen, as when we booked we were told tours didn’t happen on weekends with weddings. Having strangers COME INTO the bridal suites while my bridesmaids, family and I were getting ready made a lot of people very uncomfortable. It was also an intrusion on our special day. I cannot stress how gorgeous the venue is, it is truly breathtaking. The only reason I’m naming these things off is because had I known these things would happen, we would’ve revisited booking this venue.

WOW! That's all. Jason and Kathy are simply a turn key production team! As a planner/coordinator, I rarely have wedding day interaction with the venue managers/staff, but Jason and Kathy were there every step of the way making sure every detail and instruction was followed. Their staff is nothing less of exceptional. Very professional and polite. And the cleanliness of the property! Again, WOW! They were amazing the entire planning and communication process. WOW! That's all. Jason and Kathy are simply a turn key production team! As a planner/coordinator, I rarely have wedding day interaction with the venue managers/staff, but Jason and Kathy were there every step of the way making sure every detail and instruction was followed. Their staff is nothing less of exceptional. Very professional and polite. And the cleanliness of the property! Again, WOW! They were amazing the entire planning and communication process. Thank you 2K Reserve for your amazing hospitality. Hope to work with you guys in the near future :)

Words cannot begin to express how thankful we are to have chosen 2K Reserve! This is a beautiful venue in the country and met our every need. The venue owner (Kathy) and her Son (Jason) are absolutely wonderful to work with! We literally never had to worry about a thing! As Kathy says, \"We got this\" - and she's right! My daughter's dream wedding came true thanks to their efforts and I (MOB) was able to totally relax and enjoy the day. They offer excellent package deals and Kathy also serves as your Day Of Coordinator - a MAJOR plus! I could go on and on but will simple say, I can't imagine choosing a better place!

I highly recommend 2K Reserve for a wedding venue!! Due to CO-VID, Tyler and I decided to do a small ceremony on our wedding day and the full ceremony/reception on a later day. Even with a small ceremony, our wedding evening was incredible, beautiful, memorable, and overall magical!!! It would not have been possible nor so successful without Jason and Kathy. They are very experienced in the wedding industry which made our evening run so smoothly. I know our rescheduled wedding will be just as perfect and beautiful!! Jason and Kathy were beyond helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and overall made me feel consistently calm and happy throughout the entire process of planning a wedding (especially during a global pandemic). Also (and most importantly), they were so accommodating with our needs and always so quick to respond if we had any questions and/or concerns. Tyler and I chose to do the wedding package with 2K Reserve that included linens, bartenders, DJ, Security, and the venues decorations which took off excess stress from planning a wedding!! 2K Reserve is such a beautiful venue and has everything you need for an absolutely wonderful ceremony and reception!! I don't even know where to begin when leaving this review, but one thing is for sure - 2K Reserve was the best choice venue for our wedding, especially in the year 2020! First off, It is a family run business - when you choose to hold your event with them, they treat you like family, too! Kathy and Jason were ALWAYS available to answer calls, texts, or emails and responded within an hour (or less) of us contacting them every single time. This made it so easy when planning. Second, They have such a clear passion and knowledge for the wedding industry and offered so many suggestions as far as vendors, timelines, and logistics of our day. We did not have a wedding planner, but working with 2K showed us that we really didn't need one with them on our team! During the week of, Kathy reached out to all vendors to make sure everyone knew where to go and what time to arrive. This really helped us to relax and enjoy everything leading up to the wedding.Next, the beauty of the venue truly speaks for itself! We fell in love with the architecture, landscaping, and overall layout of the venue that was truly built with the logistics of a wedding in mind. They thought of everything! We got married in the Texas summer heat, and loved that there was two separate buildings for both the ceremony/reception to keep guests cool and avoid having them wait outside between the service and party. However, the breezeway between the two buildings offered shade and breeze for the guests that did want to roam/hang out outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery.Lastly, I want to reiterate that they truly treat you like FAMILY! Our wedding was affected by COVID-19 and Jason and Kathy were there with us every step of the way as we tried to navigate how to push forward or post pone if we needed to. We all worked together to keep each other informed of guest count changes, government regulations, seating arrangements and more. They truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate us and give us peace of mind during such an uncertain time. My husband, parents and I could not have gotten through the planning or the actual day without their clear direction, availability, and support. If we could ever recreate our day - we would always choose 2K Reserve!

2K was the perfect venue for our wedding in January. It was just as we hoped when we dreamed about our wedding day. Kathy and Jason made everything easy for us. Amazing! I fell in love with this venue on my first visit! Truly love at first sight, it is beyond gorgeous! Kathy and Jason took care of us from start to finish and were more than patient with us while we tried to navigate through wedding prep. I never had to worry about where to be or when because Kathy and Jason guided us through, my groomsmen were seen to and my bridesmaids aided, it was truly the easiest day. I have no doubt in my mind that if you booked with them, they would treat you with the utmost respect, kindness, patience they've shown us. Truly some of the best hospitality and from some of the most wonderful people. I'm so in love with my overall experience with them and overall wedding day, I honestly want to do it again! My Husband and I will be singing The 2K Reserve praises for years to come! Thank you again, I cannot thank them enough, for such a wonderful and magical day! You truly out did yourselves and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. <3

Josh and I were so happy with our choice in venue! Not only is the 2K Reserve a beautiful venue space, but Kathy and Jason are some of the most helpful people out there! They were there from start to finish leading up the wedding and on the day off. While Josh and I were getting ready they worked tirelessly in the background making sure everything was taken care of so that we didn't have to worry about minor details. Their help on the day of our wedding allowed us to enjoy our day and spending more time with family and friends. We can not recommend this venue enough!!!!

We had our wedding at 2K Reserve and it was absolutely perfect. Jason and Kathy are truly the sweetest and most helpful people. They are so incredibly accommodating and can work with any budget. Our package included DJ, Linens, Bartender, Security and Venue with decorations. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of my guests cold not stop talking about how wonderful it was. If you're looking for an all in one venue this is the place for you! Highly recommend!

I had the PERFECT wedding and it was all thanks to Jason and Kathy at the 2K reserve. I knew this was the venue I wanted the moment I walked in and met Jason. First off, it is absolutely beautiful, both inside and outside. Second, Jason was so willing to work with our budget, answer any questions, and help us out through the whole planning process. Kathy was very quick to answer emails, especially the days leading up the wedding and she helped keep my mind at ease. She even contacted vendors for me for last minute changes. I was so surprised on the day of the wedding how calm and relaxed I felt. Everyone at the venue took care of everything! It was truly a blessing to really take in every moment and not have to stress. I also loved the space to get ready in. We had one space for hair and makeup and then another room to keep our things in, get dressed, and just talk and relax. The reception was so much fun and you could tell it was well organized. The moment after the blessing of the food, a server brought us two plates right away so we could actually eat! I loved every minute of our special day and it would not have turned out as perfect as it did if it wasn't for Jason and Kathy.

Kathy and Jason were amazing to work with from the beginning. The initial tour was zero-pressure, but we quickly fell in love with the venue. They helped put together an initial timeline and, since we had most of our vendors through them, Kathy was able to coordinate with them and we didn't have to worry about any of the logistics for the big things (linens, DJ, flowers) on the actual day. On the day of, we were able to have the venue for the whole day, and had plenty of time the day before to set up and get everyone familiar with the location. If you want to feel taken care of personally, we highly recommend the amazing family of 2K Reserve.

There have been a few reviews regarding a wedding held at this venue on Sept. 14th that do not tell what this venue and who the owners and management really are. I must admit that I am a member of the groom's side of the event and I am appalled at the behavior of those who have decided to blame things on the venue. A few people, mostly members of the groomsmen had far too much to drink during the day, before the wedding even began and before many of those reviewing were even present. Their drinking led to extremely vulgar language and actions in front of everyone, including small children who were a part of the wedding and the venue staff. I personally witnessed the photographer, who is also with the venue, being called vulgar names and aggressively approached all over this person being asked to not drink anymore until the reception. This same person attacked the venue owner for the same reasons. Other groomsmen were causing the same problems throughout the night and were removed by security becuase they could not follow rules.As bad as things were, I am amazed at how the venue staff AND security officers handled the situation and themselves. Things could have been much worse. Family and guests were continuously attacking both of them and they kept their cool and handled the problems. The bride's family and friends kept partying as if nothing had happened but many parts of the reception were missed because the groom wasn't there since he was spending more time with the people that were causing all of the problems. My family felt so terrible for the bride and all of the people that work for the 2K Reserve.The venue is stunning and feels like home. Even through the troubles, the owner and her son treated all of us wonderfully and kept things going under pressure. With everything that was happening, I am not sure very many people could do that.Don't let a few bad apples stop you from visiting or booking this venue. I've been to a LOT of weddings over the last few years and this was the nicest venue with the nicest staff that I have ever been to.

Other groomsmen were causing the same problems throughout the night and were removed by security becuase they could not follow rules.As bad as things were, I am amazed at how the venue staff AND security officers handled the situation and themselves. Things could have been much worse. Family and guests were continuously attacking both of them and they kept their cool and handled the problems. The bride's family and friends kept partying as if nothing had happened but many parts of the reception were missed because the groom wasn't there since he was spending more time with the people that were causing all of the problems. My family felt so terrible for the bride and all of the people that work for the 2K Reserve.The venue is stunning and feels like home. Even through the troubles, the owner and her son treated all of us wonderfully and kept things going under pressure. With everything that was happening, I am not sure very many people could do that.Don't let a few bad apples stop you from visiting or booking this venue. I've been to a LOT of weddings over the last few years and this was the nicest venue with the nicest staff that I have ever been to.

The venue is to far from anything. There isn’t anywhere close for out of town guests to stay. The staff and security personnel were very unprofessional and rude. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENUE!!!

Choosing 2K Reserve for our wedding venue was the best wedding planning decision we made! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the owners Kathy and Jason made such a huge difference in our planning process—they are always available and so responsive, and they have a wonderful list of suggested vendors for anything not included in the venue package. We booked the semi inclusive package, which included bartenders, linens, DJ, and security. For everything else, such as hair and makeup, catering, cake, etc, we also used their other suggested vendors, and I was done booking all my wedding vendors three weeks after I chose 2K. And all their suggested vendors were amazing!! On wedding day itself, Kathy and Jason were there the whole time, and they kept the day flowing smoothly. Kathy even fluffed my dress for me before the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. All the little things made such a huge difference. I didn’t once look at a clock or worry if things were running well. Also, having a separate ceremony hall and reception all in one place made the day so easy because we didn’t need to do a room flip like so many single room venues require. We just walked right from the ceremony hall to the reception hall for cocktail hour, and the guests loved having AC the whole time for both ceremony and reception! A must for a Texas summer wedding!!! Our day really was a dream and so smooth. I just took it all in and enjoyed the wonderful day! I highly suggest this venue to any bride-to-be! You won’t be disappointed!!

Our daughter’s wedding was perfect! 2K Reserve is a beautiful venue inside and out. We think the 2 separate buildings are perfect for wedding and reception. Both are large and open and can be decorated as much or as little as you like. We chose 2K Reserve for our daughters wedding, (ok she chose it and we whole heartedly agreed) and we were so happy with everything! Our ceremony was at church and this enabled us to utilize the chapel space for a cocktail hour until the wedding party was ready to start the reception. The staff at 2K was excellent and everything went very smoothly. Our guests were full of praise for the venue as well! It truly is beautiful and it was perfect for our 300+ reception!Thanks Kathy

I can not express how happy I was to have chosen 2K Reserve as the place for Thomas and I to get married from start to finish Kathy and Jason Snow walked me through every process. Always there when I needed them, very quick on responding to my emails and calls. They showed so much professionalism in a work setting then I have ever seen. The one thing that will stand out to me the most will be when Thomas and I choose to let our wedding planner go. I immediatly informed Kathy and her response was “ don’t worry Tracy Jason and I can handle it” that it self was the most calming thing I’ve had heard and felt so stress free from that point on. They let me do things how I wanted and advise me on things they have seen before. So trusting their judgement was easy. Thomas and I could not have been anymore pleased by their service. So to any future brides out there looking for a easy breezy wedding choose 2K Reserve because that’s exactly what your going to get with them. Not only is the venue gorgeous and so peaceful you will also get the two most helpful people you will ever meet.
