The Addison Grove Reviews
Emma Siegel(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-03-2022 This venue was absolutely perfect for us! We had seen it on Instagram through our photographer and we fell in love and couldn't wait to tour the property. Shortly after getting engaged, we went to see this magical venue and it far exceeded every expectation we had. The pictures don't do it justice, it is absolutely stunning in person, our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and amazing our venue was! We chose to get married outside in the Grove and have our reception in the barn, it was everything we could have asked for and more. The staff is also incredibly helpful and responsive to all of our needs and questions along the way and on wedding day. We felt so taken care of through the whole process. They also provided a list of amazing vendors we either had to choose from (planner and caterer) or that they recommended and everyone they recommended was also incredible. The groom and bridal quite are beautiful, especially the bridal suite. It is such an incredible and HUGE place for all of us girls to get ready in. The location is also great for close access to Austin or Dripping Springs, no matter where our guests stayed. We absolutely loved getting married at this venue and we can't wait to visit for our anniversary (access to the grounds is welcome on your anniversary)!! Reviewed on 23-03-2022

The Addison Grove was our dream wedding venue and it is such a reason for how amazing our wedding day was! The property was exquisite on our December wedding day. The staff was responsive, organized and communicative throughout the whole year leading up and on the day. The bartenders and drinks were phenomenal and our guests would not stop raving about how fun and perfect everything was! Thank you to the staff at The Addison Grove for helping our wedding vision and dreams come true! We definitely recommend this venue! Reviewed on 22-01-2024

Basically reiterating what everyone has already said. Getting married at Addison Grove was a dream. You can get away with minimal decorations if you wish because the barn and the land are just that stunning. They have two outdoor areas you can get married in, the cocktail hour patio space is great, and the barn is exquisite. The grounds are well-kept and everything was exceptionally clean. The bridal suite is INSANE. There are two bathrooms, a small kitchenette, a bluetooth speaker at the ready, tons of mirrors, and AMPLE space to get ready in. The back area for changing is also the perfect backdrop for photos. They knew what they were doing when they built this suite!! Honestly the groom's suite is great too - my husband loved getting ready with his guys in there. The employees are amazing - they care deeply about ensuring you're taken care of. They're super responsive and always kind. Stephanie was amazing through the final steps - we didn't have to worry about anything because she had it covered. The ONLY slightly negative thing I could say about this venue that I think is worth mentioning up front is that you do have to use their bar package instead of BYOB. They're super transparent about it and the bar staff was amazing, so I'm not taking any stars for this. But it does mean that if you do an open-bar for the night, it'll be a much larger chunk of change than BYOB. Just something to be prepared for!Overall, I think Addison Grove is the perfect wedding venue. It felt so romantic and so Texas. We were even lucky enough to get the longhorns to come over for some photos! Thank you so much to the AG team for a perfect day!! Reviewed on 20-12-2023

This was an all star venue. It had everything we were looking for. Gorgeous grounds, spacious reception area, communicative staff. We were able to hold the wedding of our dreams here. Our wedding started under the beautiful live oaks at the grove and flowed seamlessly into the barn for the reception/cocktail hour. This location is also within Austin city limits so guests were able to ride share without issue. AND they have longhorns on the property who they feed by the fence line on the big day. We had some amazing photo ops. Overall just a wonderful place for any event really. Reviewed on 27-11-2023

One of the most important pieces of putting together your wedding is finding the perfect venue. A place that reflects your sense of style and that sets the stage for one of the most special days of your life. We toured several venues in the Dripping Springs/Austin area that were gorgeous, but none could compare to the breathtaking perfection of The Addison Grove. We were looking to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The grounds are beautifully manicured and we loved the multiple ceremony sites to choose from (and the rain plan met our needs). The barn is rustic elegance and fit our modern rustic flair so perfectly. They have great offerings other than the venue itself, so you can easily shop plenty of your wedding needs in house. The bridal house is GORGEOUS! There's plenty of room for your entire bridal party to get ready together, and the groom's suite is also an amazing space. Every space at The Addison Grove is an excellent photo and video opportunity which is also very important. The staff is super friendly, and makes you like you're the only couple they're working with. We met one of the Owners who was extremely nice, and even accommodated one of the requests we made for the groom's suite. They take great care of you here! I truly could go on and on, but please put this venue on your must tour list. You will not be disappointed. Reviewed on 18-11-2023

The Addison Grove is simply...breathtaking! This is the only venue my husband and I toured and we knew right away it would the perfect place to get married. We just recently got married in June but have been planning the wedding for the last 1.5 years and let me tell you the team that manages the venue is incredible! They are extremely responsive and attentive to every question or concern. The venue itself is massive and there are multiple areas where you can get married, have cocktail hour or host the reception. Each location is just as beautiful the other, BUT what really sold me was the bridal suite. It is the absolute perfect place to get ready the day of. The team there really thought of every detail from where hair/makeup would set up to a full kitchen, dressing room, dining room. It is truly insane! After the wedding, many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and I could not recommend hosting your venue here as well! Thank you to the Addison Grove team for making our wedding the best day of our lives! Reviewed on 03-07-2023

I cannot say enough good things about this venue! If you want a venue that is spacious, photogenic, and has an AMAZING staff, look no further than the Addison Grove. The space is so transformative, and you can really make any vision come to life on this property. The longhorns and bridal suite are such a beautiful touch and make this venue so unique. I fell in love with this venue from the moment I saw it and am so glad we had our wedding here. The AG team were a breeze to work with and made us all feel so welcome and loved and were supportive through any questions we had. Our actual wedding day went so smoothly, and our guests kept raving about the venue and how beautiful it is. It really has everything you need for a perfect wedding day, and you feel like you're in your own little world away from everything else. So many of our guests said it was like being in a fairytale. We booked several of their upgrades, like the Photo Studio and lounge set, and they were such great additions! They also had such a great bar staff, and with most of our friends being bartenders, they were all highly impressed with the service and how friendly and attentive they were. I would recommend this venue a thousand times over, and wish we could relive this day forever! Reviewed on 29-04-2023
Andrea G(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-03-2023 Phenomenal venue. After touring several venues in Austin and Houston, Addison Grove was the best by far. The venue is incredibly well-kept -- beautiful facilities and grounds year-round. No other venue we toured had such a luxurious bridal suite nor the diversity of ceremony and reception sites (the grove, waterfront, barn patio, or barn interior). There is no need for a rain tent since the barn and patio serve as an excellent rain plan space (we had ~100 guests). The spacious bridal suite made the morning of a complete joy. The ladies got to hang out, get ready, and eat lunch with plenty of space to spare. The hair and make-up team were able to stay together and take advantage of the vanity desk space (5 vanity desks with great lighting). The photographer and videographer captured stunning footage across the property. It's also a very accessible venue! It's one thing for a space to be ADA-compliant, but something else to truly be accessible. I work in medicine, so having an inclusive space was a big priority for me. Highly recommend! We held our ceremony in the lovely oak grove, cocktail hour on the partially-covered patio, and the reception in the gorgeous barn. We loved that the space on its own was so appealing that any floral and decor we added was just icing on the (wedding) cake! The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful and made some great suggestions that added truly special details to our day. Guests raved about the entire venue, and they really loved hanging with the longhorns during cocktail hour. Nothing says welcome to Austin like Topo Chico and longhorns! Kaitlin Conroy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-02-2023 We had the BEST experience with The Addison Grove! We instantly fell in love with this beautiful venue when seeing it in a friends' photographer's wedding photos, and knew we wanted to get married in the tree-lined grove and host a relaxed, fun reception by the fire pit with lawn games on the patio and dinner in the gorgeous barn. Throughout our planning process, the Addison Grove team was so kind, accessible, and easy to work with-they answered emails right away, were patient with all of our planning questions, and were so flexible with venue visits. They were willing to work with us to help all of our wedding dreams become a reality, down to the specifics like s'mores at the fire pit.Our wedding week took an unexpected turn when an ice storm arrived in Austin the week of our wedding, causing extensive power losses and property damage throughout the Austin/Dripping Springs area. The Addison Grove was one of the places affected, causing us to need an alternate venue for our wedding day, but the Addison Grove team was absolutely INCREDIBLE at making our dream wedding happen anyway. Diandra at the Addison Grove completely saved our wedding! She had a solution ready for us right away with the opportunity to host our wedding at their sister venue, Prospect House, and worked tirelessly to translate our original vision to our new venue with less than 48 hours notice before our wedding. Diandra was so accessible and reassuring as we adjusted our plans, and she put in so much effort so we, ourselves, barely had to adjust anything! She literally moved furniture from venue to venue to keep our floor plan, worked with the Native Bloom floral team to make the space fit our vision and style exactly, and personally spent days ensuring that every detail was perfect. We were so touched and so thankful for all of Diandra and the Addison Grove team's work that it enhanced our wedding day even more. Diandra and her hard work created such a loving, wonderful atmosphere for our wedding, and we are SO thankful and cannot recommend this team enough. Even though we didn't get to use the physical Addison Grove space for our wedding, we absolutely loved our experience with the team (and the Addison Grove did look beautiful and I'm sure is wonderful as well)! Ashlynn Harrison(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-10-2022 Addison Grove was the perfect venue for our wedding. My husband loves live oak trees and we knew an outdoor ceremony would be perfect for us. We looked at 8 or so venues in person in Austin and Dripping Springs, and a countless number more online. There is simply no other venue in the area offering the live oak tree ceremony site that AG has. Addison Grove had absolutely everything we wanted and the property is simply stunning. The photos I have of myself and my loved ones in the bridal suite are truly photos I will cherish forever (and we didn’t even have time for the bridesmaids pj photos!). Lastly, the discounts AG was offering during our tour for non-Saturday weddings was very competitive. If these are still offered, I highly suggest you take advantage of these! Our critiques: The groom's suite is pretty small and there was not a lot of surface area for the guys to use to get ready, but they managed fine. Additionally, the bar packages are expensive - AG requires you to use their bar services and you cannot hire your own bartender or bring in your own alcohol. However, the cocktails were excellent. During and after the wedding we received so many compliments on both the service of the bartenders and the quality of the drinks. This venue goes above and beyond to provide the best experience possible for their couples. I am so glad we chose this venue and it will always have a special place in our hearts. Our guests, many from out of state and even from abroad, were amazed by the longhorns and loved the famous Texas Hill Country oaks. The barn not only looked stunning with the farm tables and beautiful chandeliers, but also kept everyone cool while dancing which was super important in the September heat! Besides the actual ceremony/reception, the bridal suite was an absolute vibe and every single detail was perfect- the vintage kitchen details, the wallpaper, the vanities! Delaney Staff(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2022 We got married on September 4, 2022 and from start to finish, our experience with The Addison Grove exceeded all of our expectations. To start, their team there (I worked alot with Kellye, Starla, and Deandra) is absolutely outstanding. They are kind-hearted people that make you feel like family, communicate effectively and consistently, and will go above and beyond to ensure that your wedding planning process and day of experience is everything you dream of and more. When we first started looking at venues about a year out, we toured 6 or 7 other venues prior to checking out Addison Grove and I started to feel overwhelmed and stressed because I just wasn't sold on any that we looked at. The second I stepped foot onto their property and was greeted by Deandra, I just knew this place was special and decided right away that it would be where I would get married! From start to finish, the team accomodated for our every need or question and served us with such grace and enthusiasm. The property has 2 beautiful ceremony cites to choose from, a spacious patio for cocktail hour, and a reception space that is stunning as it is (but can be transformed to meet your exact vision). Ontop of this the trees, grass, foliage, and flowers are well-maintained and add such a natural and home-y feel to the place. We got multiple comments from our guests how this was the best venue that they've ever attended a wedding at - and I agree! They also loved hanging out with the longhorns that are on site. The in house bartenders are also incredible! They make their own hand-crafted cocktails that our guests really enjoyed and are just a fabulous team of people. I could go on and on about what an amazing experience we had with Addison Grove and all of the wonderful people that worked tirelessly to make everything go as smoothly as it did, but I truly could not recomend this venue enough and words won't do justice how grateful I am that we chose to work with them for our wedding day. The venue itself is gorgeous and sets the tone for a great event. We loved that we had the venue to ourselves and also loved that we could use all parts of the venue throughout the day which helped create a great event atmosphere and flow for our guests. We had our ceremony by the pond and then moved for cocktail hour at the grove, and then we did the reception at the barn. Using all of the beautiful spaces, created a great flow of the day and utilized all the unique parts of the property. Each location felt different without needing to physically leave the venue. Our guests also raved about the venue and how beautiful the setting was. The bridal suite is amazing! It's a great space for getting ready all day and gave us plenty of room for hair & makeup, changing, and just hanging out and relaxing in between photos. It was also just so great to set up there all day and not have to move locations from getting ready at one place to then traveling to the venue. Beyond the venue being stunning and offering a great aesthetic and space, the staff at Addison Grove are wonderful. Kellye and Starla were proactive, communicative, thoughtful, and helpful. Addison Grove is a beautiful venue, but you should be aware of the strict contract. We did sign their contract that stated the deposits were non-refundable. I remembered that when I reached out to them 15 months before our wedding date, but I was hoping they might consider refunding all or even some of our $5250.00 deposit. I would understand their unwillingness to refund any of our $5250.00 deposit if the wedding was canceled months before our date and they were unwilling to recover the funds, but they have already rebooked. They will make the FULL amount from the new customers, $10,500 plus the required bar tab(also outlined in the contract), along with our $5250.00 for which we received no services. We did sign a contract agreeing to this; that is why I am warning future couples. Booking a venue is an emotional decision, and Addison Grove is a beautiful venue but I felt it was important for future couples to understand that Addison Grove has been unwilling to compromise on what their contract states. NO REFUNDS, even if more than a year out and even if the date is rebooked. Addison Grove is UNWILLING to refund any money no matter how far you are from your wedding date. We were very fortunate that another couple did book our date. Otherwise, Addison Grove would have charged us the second payment of $5250, as agreed upon in the contract. Canceling a wedding is already a difficult choice, but receiving the confirmation that we would not be refunded ANY of our money felt like salt in the wound. I have included their response below. I have included their response to me below. Please see below for the cancellation excerpt from the contract:Cancellation and Rescheduling Client (s) agrees that if this agreement is cancelled for any reason, The Addison Grove will suffer loss. From the first communications with the AG team, all the way up through our wedding, their team was extremely helpful, responsive and SO friendly! It’s hard to choose our favorite part about The Addison Grove because it is truly all so breathtaking. The bridal suite is enormous, with gorgeous decor, and was the perfect place to get ready with my girls. We had 200 guests and it didn’t feel tight at all. The stone flooring is perfect for easy walking in heels, and the pictures of my ceremony turned out AMAZING because of the insane lighting and backdrop of the trees. Finally, the covered patio and Barn were perfect areas for the reception and for guests to have space to walk around, relax and have fun. Plenty of room for all of us to get ready comfortably and such great style. My husband's one request on a venue was a grooms suite that wasn't squished like the other venues we visited. Sagel Trachier(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-04-2022 THIS IS THE VENUE OF YOUR DREAMS. 1. Indoor/Outdoor Space that transformsWithout any decor, the Addison Grove is a gorgeous venue with so much space for your guests to explore. The landscaping is absolutely fabulous and most major walkways are paved - A huge plus if you are looking for an ADA-friendly venue for elderly family members! The venue has ample indoor and outdoor space, making it perfect for temperamental Texas weather. We loved being able to open the garage-style windows during our reception once the temp had cooled a bit after sunset. Our guests loved this as well as they could sit outside and catch up without feeling disconnected from the dance floor! The venue is already beautiful, but my favorite thing about Addison Grove is that it transforms. Not into the rustic, barn thing? Same - Neither was I! But we worked with our planner and we had some colorful draping put up and the space felt exactly what I have always envisioned for my wedding - Whimsical and fun! This venue has such amazing structure and a neutral style that you can transform into the most modern, chic or colorful vibe you could ever want... OR you can lean into the barn thing - I can promise that your guests will get a thrill out of snapping pics over by the resident longhorns either way :)There are so many beautiful groves of trees lining the ceremony locations. You really feel like you are tucked away in a super special corner of Hill Country, even though you are just a 2 minute drive from 290! (The AG is one of the closest venues to a major road in Dripping Springs..... your guests will thank you for this at the end of the night. )2. Bridal SuiteI have a big, Indian family and y'all..... this bridal suite is EVERYTHING. It is literally the size of a house, absolutely gorgeous and made getting a group of 25 gals ready and putting on saris feel like a breeze. Plenty of outlets, 4+ hair/make up stations and complimentary bubbly and beer for the wedding party as they get ready. What more could ya want???The bridal suite has a bunch of natural light and is a great backdrop for pictures, breakfast on the patio, or just stepping outside on the porch for a breath of fresh air during all of the getting ready craziness. We toured 10+ venues and Addison Grove had the nicest/biggest bridal suite out of them all.3. Staff, add-ons, and recommended vendorsThe staff is SO nice and easy to get in touch with. There was never a wait for the bar, as their bartenders are quick, polite and professional. The venue has a variety of in-house add ons (lounge set, photobooth, etc) which are really nice for those last minute decisions where you don't necessarily want to loop in another vendor or moving part to keep track of. The Addison Grove staff will take care of the set up and tear down for all of their add ons! The photobooth add on was so easy, and such a hit with the guests. Finally - Wedding planning and choosing the best vendors is all about NETWORK! There is a reason Addison Grove requests you use their recommended vendors and planners. They are all awesome, top quality and will ensure your event goes off without a single hiccup. Addison Grove is very much seen as one of the premiere venues in Hill Country - The best vendors love working with this venue and there is a good reason why! Every vendor we worked with has collabed with Addison Grove atleast 10+ times. The venue and it's staff has a well-earned reputation of being the best. All in all - DO IT. Reviewed on 18-04-2022

It is absolutely stunning in person with so many options for ceremony locations! We chose to get married outside in the Grove, in January, and it was soooo dreamy and beautiful. The staff is INCREDIBLE. We felt so taken care of through the whole process. They also recommend amazing vendors to help your day come together perfectly. This was actually a destination/out of town wedding for us, but even with that obstacle, the wedding planning process was so easy. The bridal suite is incredible and it's truly the perfect distance to be out of the city but close enough to still be in Austin. We absolutely loved getting married at this venue and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!! Reviewed on 12-02-2022

I knew I wanted to get married there before I was even engaged, before even seeing the property except via social media. They really maintain the property! It was the only property my fiancé and I saw and immediately booked, throughout our year long engagement the staff at the Addison Grove kept great communication via email with us. They were a few times throughout the year I asked if I can come to the property and they gladly let me. My parents were able to see the property before the wedding which I really appreciated! The bridal suite is amazing! It was nice not having to scramble around town getting ready for a wedding like I have in the past as a bridesmaid, we literally got to relax all morning in the bridal suite as hair and makeup came to us. Everything about the property is lovely especially the longhorns. I had the best day of my life at the Addison Grove, and their staff is so friendly and helped make my day go beautifully! Diandra, Kellye, Starla and the whole team were so fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. They were always organized and super flexible. We ended up booking the photobooth through them as well, which was seamless! The bar staff were awesome and kept the drinks flowing and the party going! The entire property is so beautiful! You have multiple options for ceremony locations, and seemingly unlimited options for great photo locations. The longhorns were a hit for our out-of-state guests as well! Since you never know what Texas weather would bring, we specifically looked for a venue with great indoor options. Luckily, weather was beautiful and we had our ceremony outside as planned; but, our “plan B” would have been equally as beautiful. Everything is beautiful there, you don't even need florals or decorations. My husband and I looked at so many venues and cancelled all the ones we had left to see after visiting the Ivory Oak. The staff was absolutely amazing. Answered any and all questions very promptly - whether it was by phone or email. They coordinated so well with our other vendors, and an added detail that I absolutely loved was that they gave us a list with all their recommended vendors that they have personally worked with, so it made that search so easy. Even if we found someone that was not on the list they had heard of the Ivory Oak from colleagues and said it was awesome to work at. My favorite part of the property is the bridal suite -- it is so gorgeous and really contributes to making sure all of your girls are comfortable during what can be a really long day! A lot of venues I considered did not have a dedicated bridal suite, and I am so glad I chose one that did. Tessa Krieger-Carlisle(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-02-2021 Booking our wedding with the Addison Grove ultimately has prevented us from being able to have a wedding at all. I really regret booking with such an unsympathetic and inflexible venue. We booked our August 2020 wedding with the Addison Grove in early 2019 and were looking forward to it for over a year, until Covid hit. In May 2020, after our final payment to AG had been paid, we realized that holding a wedding in August 2020 was not going to be possible. While my fiancé and I live in Austin, all of our family (including elderly and high-risk parents) live thousands of miles away in different states, and it wouldn’t be possible for them to travel during the pandemic. Not to mention that holding an event with dozens of people during the pandemic is highly irresponsible, and since the weather would be over 100 degrees in August, we would have needed to make use of the indoor space. We reached out to AG to reschedule for August 2021 and were told that they would not reschedule our event since the governor had recently reopened wedding venues. We offered to pay an additional amount to reschedule to August 2021, but were told if we wanted to reschedule for then, we would have to repay the full amount, including the deposit. After an extremely stressful and unforgiving exchange with Alisha and then Matt, we were offered a few dates in Jan/Feb 2021 that they were trying to get rid of to reschedule. I was reluctant, as experts predicted the fall/winter surge, but figured rescheduling was better than outright cancelling, which was our only viable alternative. The entire situation was so upsetting and really made me wish I could cancel with them entirely and find a new venue. However, we were already locked into using their in-house wedding planner (Elaine & Lee, who also required full payment back in June) and florist (Native Bloom Floral), which would have made it difficult to find a new venue. It has become abundantly clear that holding our wedding in early February will not be possible, so we’ve been forced to cancel, since AG left us no other choices and we will not repay them another full booking fee. All said, we’ve lost thousands of dollars to their companies and won’t even be holding an event. I realize that I signed a contract that obligated me to these terms, but one would have imagined a bit more sympathy and understanding, especially from the wedding industry. The cherry on top is that almost immediately after we cancelled, I saw on their instagram that they are currently offering venue discounts up to 50% off for dates in August 2021. We would have considered taking advantage of this, but were never offered the option. So disappointing. I understand the need to stay afloat during this time, but if money was so important they might have considered offer to pay an additional fee for August 2021 in the first place. I'll also note that all of our other vendors were wonderful and understanding and rescheduled and then cancelled our wedding with sympathy and grace. Reviewed on 26-12-2020
Matt Culver(groom)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-11-2021 Would not book again. We booked the venue in January 2020, and needed to pay in full May 2020 for our Nov. 2020 wedding. By the time of our 2nd payment we were nervous we would need to reschedule due to covid, however we were told to just pay and The Addison Grove was being really good with rescheduling. By late summer it was clear the wedding needed to be postponed. There was a state mandate on gathering size that was constantly changing. I am active duty military with orders to avoid crowds indefinitely, and my wife works in the hospital so needs to avoid seeing the elderly and large crowds as she is high risk to spread covid. Additionally my dad had just passed from covid. There was no way to let the wedding happen Nov. 2020. We asked to reschedule for late 2021. AG told us we could but would have to pay in full for the new date and forfeit our entire full payment already made. Basically schedule as a new couple who had paid nothing. No remorse for the covid situation. No care that the military ordered me to not travel and avoid all crowds. Not even a sympathetic email explaining the situation and asking for double the payment. Just told us we would need to pay again. After stress and debating with them, they allowed us to reschedule for late 2021 but on a Sunday with the Saturday price. A loss of thousands of dollars. We feel taken advantage of and helpless. To put it in perspective, every other vendor we had allowed there schedule with reasonable, if any, rescheduling fees. Absolutely regret the decision to use the AG. It is undoubtedly beautiful, but to take advantage of people during this time is just unacceptable. Reviewed on 17-09-2020

This is the area where you have a stone/ cement landing and large oaks that create an intertwined backdrop. This looks stunning with the light peaking through the branches during the golden hour.Along with stunning grounds the venue also has a FANTASTIC team. We worked with Kristin from day one and she is just amazing. Not only is she an extremely talented professional, but she is just genuinely awesome. I love oak trees, and had a dream of an outdoor ceremony under the trees - the grove ceremony space was even more perfect than I could have imagined. When I stepped into the bridal suite during our first tour, that sealed the deal! You'll spend so much time there on your wedding day, so having such a beautiful space to get ready (complete with kitchen, two bathrooms, and beautiful hair and makeup area) is absolute essential. It was the perfect spot to spend the first part of my wedding day - my mom, mom in law, and grandma were able to relax in comfort, with plenty of space for us to spread out and get glammed. The AG barn made for a beautiful reception space, you barely need any decor because the barn itself is so gorgeous. And a personal highlight...the longhorns!! I got to feed them in the morning, and it was just so fun. We took the most AMAZING photos next to them after the ceremony too, can't get more Texas than that, so so special. Nettie Teter(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-07-2019 Addison Grove was our dream wedding venue. I love their big open space in the barn and LOVE the amount of space and the decor in the bridal house. It was so convenient being able to get ready right next door to the venue. The light wood and chandeliers in the barn and all the natural light are so beautiful that not much other decor was needed. We also loved having Native Blooms Florist onsite to make everything convenient. The responsiveness of the team while we were planning was not the best. They only have one number that rings the office and it was rarely answered. While it took a long time to get a hold of someone, Alisha, the venue manager was always very nice and accommodating to make sure everything would be exactly how we wanted day of. My only complaint about this venue is that we had some pretty major temperature issues the week of our wedding. When we showed up for our pre-scheduled rehearsal time, which we had reserved for an hour over 2 months prior, the air conditioning was not on and it was about 100 degrees outside and felt even warmer in the barn. No one was onsite and we called our venue contacts multiple times with no response. This was highly disappointing because we mentioned repeatedly that a/c and temperature was very important to us. We were all in our nice dresses and suits and had to stand there sweating for an hour while we ran through our rehearsal. We even got married inside and flipped the space because we did not want to have our ceremony outside in the summer. Then on the wedding day, we checked on the temperature multiple times during the morning and afternoon and asked for it to be set on 55 or 60, but it seemed to stay at a solid 70 with no help from the venue staff. During our ceremony, the fan kicked off and it got VERY still up against the windows and multiple people in our bridal party had to sit down DURING the ceremony. They finally kicked the a/c into high gear when that happened but it was well into our reception before it felt as cool as I wanted it to in the barn. All in all our wedding was wonderful and we wouldn't have had it any other place. Reviewed on 19-08-2019

Our hair and makeup team told us this was by far the nicest room they had ever worked in and loved that it was separate from the rest of the house so it wasn’t too chaotic and they were able to work faster having multiple large stations available to work in. The inside of the barn is so stunning we saved so much money on decor because the room itself simply didn’t need it. I had looked at so many venues but for us as a couple it was just the perfect compromise. I wanted something a little bit more elegant and formal, but my now-husband wanted to get married in a barn and have a Texas feel. I was so shocked by The Addison Grove as I found it on a whim - the barn is just stunning. Matt showed us around and I knew instantly. I swear pictures don't even do it justice (even though it looks amazing in pictures). Getting ready in such a spacious, but also not too big and spread out, bridal suite was such a pleasure and so much fun. But the staff is equally as amazing as the venue. Yes, they are working your event - but Kristin went above and beyond on my wedding day. When I would cry, she would be there talking to me and just being present in the moment with me. I would recommend understanding the fees beforehand - including the bar fees. I thought it was extremely helpful that right as we were getting our contract they sent over an estimated invoice for everything we would need. So we knew what we were looking at early on; which was super helpful for us as we we paid for our entire wedding ourselves. I cannot thank The Addison Grove enough for everything. I L(other)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-04-2019 Although the venue is beautiful, we faced challenges working with the venue's management team. First be aware that the alcohol comes at a huge markup over any other comparable venue or third party bar service. The basic package, which does not offer very high-quality alcohol, is expensive to start, and any upgrades come with significant additional expense. We paid to upgrade some of the liquors, but then learned after our event that the bar refused to serve it without watering it down. If you're looking to host a classy event for a mature wedding party, you might find the bar service to be overly expensive and without a respectable vibe.In addition to the pricing issues, we had a poor experience communicating with our point person, Kristin. There were moments where where she was unresponsive and at times snide when we had questions, and we ended up working with her manager to get our questions answered. For an event of this scale, we would have preferred a more friendly and collaborative partner to help guide us through the process. Reviewed on 28-04-2019

Bonnie Baum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-11-2018 I had a great experience working with everyone at The Addison Grove. Alex and I were looking for a very specific type of venue and we found our match with The Addison Grove. We wanted to have both Ceremony and Reception in one place without having to flip spaces in front of the guests. We had our Ceremony out by the pond, Cocktail Hour next to the barn, and Reception inside the barn. The pond was full of water and the perfect back drop to our ceremony! During Cocktail Hour, The Addison Grove had games (corn hole, etc.) for guests to play and the fire pit ready to go. The barn was the perfect space for the reception. We had 130 guests and there was plenty of room between each table for guests to move around. The lighting in the barn was perfect for the evening and it was beautiful weather so we kept the doors open to the cocktail area. During band breaks it was great for the guests to step outside by the fire and play games! We reserved the Bridal House for the whole day so we could get ready at the venue. The Bridal House is GORGEOUS! We were greeted with a beautiful display of champagne and juices. One room has beautiful mirrors and chairs for hair and makeup artists, and there are two other spaces for relaxing or changing. The Grooms Suite isn't as big as the Bridal House but perfect for the guys to get ready. They offer beer the day off with options to order specific liquor or other drinks. We are gluten free so requested ciders! Our guests, as well as Alex and I, loved The Addison Grove. It is elegant with a hint of Texas. Whitney Quitta(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2018 The Addison Grove is beautiful. You don't need to stress about weather because the indoor barn option is gorgeous, but if you can get married out under the trees, you'll be ecstatic. Our fall light was beautiful. The setting is also nice because you can put nothing into it decor-wise (we kept it very simple), or you can use it as a blank canvas and go wild with flowers/fabric/etc.!The staff is laid back, helpful, and genuinely wants you to have the best wedding day. One of the best parts for me was how convenient it was to have our coordinator also work for the Addison Grove. Kristin Shrimplin was amazing both on the Addison Grove side helping me with the venue itself, but also as my coordinator through Elaine and Lee she literally ran the whole show and she was always onsite to help me. Joy Sandager(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-05-2017 My husband and I were married at The Addison Grove at the end of May. When we booked the venue in mid-2016, the barn was still being built. However, we had such a great experience with Matt, we knew that the finished product would be wonderful - and it definitely was! All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. But, more important to me, was what a lifesaver Alisha was on the day of the wedding. While the weather was fine throughout the day, the forecast was showing that thunderstorms would be coming in that evening - right during our ceremony. I wavered back and forth on if we should move the ceremony inside in anticipation of the rain and continued hoping that the forecast would change as the day went on. I really wanted the outdoor ceremony under the beautiful trees onsite, and Alisha offered multiple options of what we could do to ensure I didn't have to make a decision until we were sure it was going to rain. She also helped my mother-in-law in tracking down some last minute items, checked in with me throughout the day, and spoke to my vendors when needed about moving everything inside. Ultimately, we ended up moving the ceremony inside, and good thing as it started storming like crazy in the middle of the ceremony! Thankfully the venue makes for a beautiful ceremony backdrop and everything worked out perfectly. I can not express how grateful I am to Alisha for her help that day and for the stress she helped alleviate. Our daughter got married at the Addison Grove at the end of December 2016. We had an amazing experience with the venue from the beginning until the end. We knew immediately when we arrived that it was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. It is set off the road enough that you aren’t concerned about cars going by and disturbing an outdoor wedding. There was plenty of parking and it just had a sophisticated relaxed feel. The bridal suite is amazing! It had plenty of room, a kitchen, two bathrooms and great for photos. The groom’s room was so nice for the guys with a television and set off from the opposite end of the barn. We meet Alisha, the manager, for a tour and loved her right away. She is exactly the kind of person you want to work with for a wedding. Alisha is a no -nonsense, thoughtful, intelligent and pleasant lady. She showed us around without being pushy or trying to sell the venue, she let it speak for itself. We booked the Addison Grove right away! At our prompting, she also provided suggestions for DJ’s, wedding planners, photographers and caterers. Her suggestions were spot on and extremely helpful. She was great about responding to texts or emails and made the whole experience perfect. I honestly cannot say enough about this venue. The wedding was all that we had hoped for and more!
