Luxe Wedding & Special Events Venue
Located in the heart of historic downtown Springdale, AR, The Apollo on Emma is a stunning art deco wedding and luxe event venue. Events director Heidi Ann Faires invites you to hold a lavish celebration at this 1940s theater, lovingly restored to its original splendor. With both indoor and outdoor locations to choose from, this is sure to be the perfect spot for your fairytale wedding. The Apollo was initially built by Bill Sonneman and opened its doors in September 1949. The theater enjoyed a reputation as an elegant destination for town residents, with its plush velvet curtains, glittering chandeliers, and marble accents. Sixty-six years later, the dedicated new owners began working to bring the Apollo back to its roots as the crown jewel of Sonneman’s work. You will be greeted by the beautiful foyer, where a marble statue of the god Apollo stands in pride of place. Two gorgeous wooden staircases lead to the VIP lounge, overlooking the main ballroom. Tall ceilings and statement crystal chandeliers create airy opulence with a seating capacity of 495. Their stunning courtyard is the ideal spot for an outdoor reception. With a simple overhead canopy and plenty of space for food truck vendors, if desired, you can host up to 250 guests here. The cocktail lounge is the perfect place to mingle with drinks. For smaller gatherings, you can make use of the Outer Lobby, the Inner Lobby, or the Metropolis Room, which can comfortably accommodate up to 42 people. Also located on-site are the catering kitchen and built-in marble bars. The events team at The Apollo on Emma wants to help you pull off your dream wedding. For your convenience, white Chiavari chairs, round tables, and rectangular tables are included in your rental fee. The team will provide setup and breakdown services and day-of coordination (wedding management) to ensure a seamless event at, an additional cost. A top-quality audio-visual system is available, including a high-definition projector and screen as an ode to the venue’s movie theater history. For an extra-special touch, the movie marquee board above the front door can be used as the ultimate welcome sign. You can contact Heidi Ann to learn more about this one-of-a-kind venue.

My love for wedding & event planning has kept me in the industry for the past 10+ years. I am now the GM for The Apollo on Emma, a wedding & event venue, as well as the Event Designer for the Apollo. I am a Arkansas native and live in historic downtown Springdale, AR with my husband of 15 years and our 4 dogs. We are very involved with revitalizing our little downtown & we have been a part of helping it grow for the past 10 years. Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, I moved to NWA in 2009. My family still resides in Hot Springs with 1 younger brother & his wife and my mother and father.
