The Arbory Chicago is an industrial-chic wedding venue located in Chicago, Illinois. Nestled in the historic West Town, this 100-year-old lumber warehouse blends vintage charm with contemporary sophistication. The building’s renovation was inspired by turn-of-the-century New Orleans, and the facility now features six sweeping skylights, custom millwork, old Chicago brick, and state-of-the-art amenities. Murals painted by local artists adorn the interior and exterior, bringing a curated and one-of-a-kind feel to the space. Just minutes from the Loop, Logan Square, and O’Hare International Airport, the property is centrally located in the heart of the urban metropolis. Take a tour to experience the elegant, refined, and spacious setting in which you can make timeless memories with all your loved ones. Facilities and Capacity When you enter The Arbory Chicago, you will be greeted by breathtaking exposed brick walls and natural light, which filters in from the skylights above. To the left you will find a beautifully designed get-ready en-suite, where you can prepare for the festivities and enjoy champagne with your wedding party. This area also features a staging area and a fully equipped prep kitchen. To your right is an aisle that leads to the ceremony location. Custom doorways and lush drapery open from this spot to the dreamy reception banquet hall, which is draped with Italian café lights and can accommodate 200 guests. This convenient setup avoids a room flip and allows for flexibility when decorating each phase of your celebration. The reception area, "skylight room" comes with two bars, lounge furniture to seat 6, gender-neutral bathrooms, and plenty of room for dining and dancing late into the night. From start to finish, everything about this venue was beyond amazing.One of the standout features that drew us to the Arbory was its versatility. The fact that they had separate rooms for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception made our wedding day flow seamlessly. It allowed us to create distinct atmospheres for each part of the celebration, and it was a key factor in making our day truly special.The staff at the Arbory, led by the wonderful Shay, were an absolute dream to work with. Their professionalism and willingness to accommodate our requests made the planning process a breeze. Shay's dedication and attention to detail ensured that everything went off without a hitch, and we can't thank her and the team enough for their hard work and commitment to making our day perfect.As for the venue itself, it's nothing short of breathtaking. The Arbory's unique design and aesthetic allowed us to personalize our space to fit our specific vision and vibe for the day. We recently hosted our wedding at the Arbory and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous and Shay and the team are so helpful. Shay worked with us throughout the entire process and was super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Definitely recommend the Photo Booth! My husband and I just got married at the Arbory this past week, and it was an absolutely perfect venue! We had both our ceremony and reception on site, and we had so many compliments from our guests on how unique and beautiful the venue was! They have done an amazing job decorating the brick space with tons of greenery, beautifully painted murals, and unique design pieces. We had to do absolutely no decorating on our own - which was a big plus for us! The staff is also amazing. The Arbory was only the second wedding venue we visited and immediately on walking in (still under construction) we knew it was the one for us. The venue is the only one in the city that has managed to balance popular industrial vibes with soft, natural, earthy elements. The attention to detail in the murals, plants, living greenery, custom doors and bars is incredible. Working with Allison White was also wonderful. She welcomed us back to the venue multiple times and kept us updated on the progress--it was totally stress free to work with her. When I left the Arbory at the end of the night I was honestly not sad that wedding planning was over, but I was sad I would probably not ever be in the Arbory again.

The Arbory is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are lovely. We consistently received prompt replies to any email questions we sent over. From touring, to booking, to day of, everything was seamless and easy! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the greenery and lounge furniture are such nice touches. Having tables and chairs through the venue is also a huge benefit. The murals on the walls make gorgeous photo backdrops. There is currently construction on the road, so you can’t park right in front of the venue, but there is free street parking right around the corner, and none of our guests had any issues. Overall, the Arbory is a phenomenal venue!

If you're looking for a cool, moody (but still romantic), modern, urban place to get married - look no further! When my husband and I first saw the space, we were welcomed by Allison who provided an incredibly thoughtful tour of the space and gave us a million and one ideas on how our day could go... It's no surprise that we ended up choosing exactly what she suggested! While they have a preferred vendor list for catering, they were flexible with florals, decor, and DJ. Even though we had a small wedding (for a space that can fit much more!), Allison and team were able to make the space feel intimate for both the ceremony and reception; as if they could only fit the exact number of guests we had (~65 guests). The staging room was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get settled and take photos prior to the ceremony (SO many photo ops!) Honestly, I could keep going... But seriously, I highly recommend The Arbory to those looking. Everything about it was incredible!

My husband and I booked The Arbory as our wedding venue. After seeing it last year, when it wasn't completed yet, and meeting with Allison, we felt confident that the venue was exactly what we were looking for! We worked with Allison ahead of the big day and she was easy to communicate with and even invited us back, after the venue was completed, so we could see it in person again. We also worked with Shay closer to the date and she was our venue manager on the day-of the wedding. I am so thrilled and happy we decided to book The Arbory, it is a beautiful venue, full of character, special & unique touches, and yet can still be fully customized to reflect each couple's personality. You can truly tell the team behind the venue understand events because they have crafted the venue so well. We didn't even have to do much with decor because they have so many awesome murals and living walls! The venue also provided a professional and wonderful security guard for our wedding, and we had plenty of street parking available too. We cannot recommend Allison, Shay and The Arbory enough! We have received so many compliments on how beautiful and perfect our venue was, and honestly, it is!

My husband and I had our dream disco wedding at the Arbory this past August. The space is absolutely stunning. Even though we went a bit overboard with disco balls and tons of extra greenery for our \"Jungle Boogie\" wedding, you really don't need much for this venue. The murals, greenery walls, pops of plants, and skylights makes this space incredibly unique and inviting. The videobooth guestbook was a hit, our guests absolutely loved it. We especially loved watching them ourselves post wedding as we re-lived the night. Now onto the people who helped make it happen. Allison was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way during our 1 year of planning. When we came across any obstacles she was ready with a solution. We seriously could not have picked a better place for our dream wedding. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue :)

We absolutely loved the Arbory and couldn't be happier that we decided to book our wedding here. Our wedding was a group of 100 people and the space was perfect- intimate but not too crowded. We had lots of comments from guests that also enjoyed the venue and were pleasantly surprised by it's ability to discretely and elegantly divide up space. Allison was a joy to work with and I love and respect her enthusiasm for the venue and her work overall. She was very accommodating with some requests we had, and helped make our special day and the lead up to it extra smooth. Highly recommend the Arbory to anyone considering, and definitely recommend upgrading to include the disco ball on the dance floor, which was a total hit with our guests!

I booked the Arbory for my wedding in July 2022, I actually booked them while they were not yet open and under construction back in 2021, but the Allison the venue manager was so passionate about the vision of the arbory that we were convinced that it was where we wanted to get married. Come July 2022, The arbory was ready for us, everything allison described to us on paper was there in real life and more! We had our ceremony and reception there with 100+ of our friends and family in the evening, and it was a dream. The skylights were the real MVPs, during the early evening it brought in natural light for our ceremony, and at night there were, unscheduled and random, fireworks going off in the street and you could see it in the night sky while we danced underneath it. It was such a movie moment. I can’t promise that that will happen for everyone’s event, but this is the place where it happened for us. I also wanted to give a quick shout out to all my favorite features of the arbory, the beautiful pink bridal suite, the hand painted floral murals, the chandeliers, the hand crafted wood doors, the gorgeous and plentiful bathrooms, the living plant wall and all the wonderful ambient lighting In the form of cafe string lights and uplighting to create a mood. Also our guests’ favorite feature was the built in photo booth, there’s a small room that they converted to a photo/video booth with a selfie-light, an ipad setup with software for photos and videos and a grass backdrop wall, “sound-proof” door (our music was very loud, but it did its best). Our guests left us sweet little video messages that we will cherish and our guests lined up for it since it was a great well-lit space to get a photo with the bride and groom.Thanks Allison and the Arbory for making our wedding extra special for us and our guests.

The arbory was absolutely perfect for our vow renewal/reception! Allison is absolutely amazing! We booked the arbory before its opening, when our initial venue was no longer available due to covid- and Allison shared her vision of the space it and turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined! She was also incredibly helpful and went above and beyond the day of to help with whatever she could- our wedding would not have happened or have run as smooth without her!

The Arbory was the perfect venue for our evening late fall wedding. The design details and lighting throughout the venue were superior to all the other urban Chicago venues (I swear, we toured every single one). The venue manager was extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend!

We are still processing the immense love and support we received from our friends and families at our wedding, and the day would not have been possible without the AMAZING team and venue that is The Arbory. Allison, the venue manager, was above and beyond in all the ways; they live-streamed our wedding for our guests who we couldn't invite due to COVID-19 (which was so professionally executed); the venue is better than any Pinterest inspirations we've seen. The skylight, the beautiful hand-painted murals, and the industrial yet aesthetic interior and exterior were beyond what I dreamt about. With the flexibility to split our event into two cohesive and spaces (ceremony & reception) made our wedding flow so smooth. We had so much to work with when it came to decoration because of the thoughtful interior that was already built into The Arbory. Honestly, I would do this all over again (of course with the same husband) if I could!!! I cannot wait to see how The Arbory grows and hosts more events and weddings, and if you're looking to be a one-of-a-kind bride, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

I was the coordinator for the Blackmon/Bryant wedding on 8/28 at the Arbory and it was the perfect location. It was intimate and warm, with gorgeous decor. There are also cool and eclectic areas in the immediate vicinity for amazing photos. Also, the on-site hosts are engaged and helpful--I'd definitely recommend The Arbory for your wedding or event.
