Callie Tepper(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 I don't like writing negative reviews but want to protect other couples from having an experience like we did.Highlights:• Beautiful roomsLowlights• Confirmed multiple times that there would be no nuts or sesame in anything due to brides allergies. Hotel put strawberries with nuts in our bridal suite and at the brunch, had nuts in the bread and sesame on bagels. They could have killed the bride (and two members of the wedding party who also have nut allergies).• Only one elevator working the entire weekend. Stairwell doors were all locked except the first floor (lobby is on the 4th floor so no access to that from the stairwells).• Only working elevator broke with guests in it.They blamed my guests saying they jumped and after reviewing security footage, this was not the case. Since stairwells locked, they had to use a service elevator in the back of the hotel. Hotel did not compensate them.• Nickel and dimed us and our guests consistently through the process• Hard to get a hold of and would not return calls• Did not allow tastings even though hosting rehearsal and brunch at the hotel.Hope our experience is helpful! Good luck with wedding planning! Reviewed on 15-01-2023
Sekhar Paladugu(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2018 We had a wonderful experience using the ART Hotel for our wedding. Around 100 of our guests took advantage of the very reasonable rate the hotel offered us for our block of rooms. Our guests raved about the convenient location right by downtown Denver, the well-appointed rooms, and the attentive staff. The one minor issue our guests mentioned was the fact that most of the rooms at the ART Hotel have a single king-size bed. There are a handful of rooms with pull-out sofa beds and the hotel has several rollaway beds, but there are no rooms with two queen-size beds. This issue only arose because of the large number of families at our wedding who had hoped to sleep more than one couple per room, and it was far outweighed by the many positive experiences we had.In addition to our block of rooms, we held several wedding-related events at the ART Hotel. We had a plated rehearsal dinner for 25 in the Bear’s Den dining room. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. We also held a welcome reception the night before our wedding and made use of the hotel’s phenomenal outdoor space overlooking the downtown Denver skyline. Catering and Conference Sales Manager Amelie Luangrath and her team provided us with exceptional service throughout: they answered complex questions about room blocks and beds/room types; guided us through tastings for our reception and rehearsal dinner menu; and were readily available when we had a question. We were very pleased with the quality of food and the different options we were given when discussing our budget. They were also willing to work with special requests, including allowing us to bring in outside family-prepared Indian dishes and storing those dishes and serving them professionally the night of the rehearsal dinner and welcome reception. The ART Hotel welcomed us (the grooms) with a tray of chocolate-covered strawberries (all dressed like grooms), a bottle of champagne, and a lovely engraved decanter. After the wedding, there was another bottle of champagne and a charcuterie plate awaiting us when we returned to the room. This attention to detail made the entire weekend a dream.
