A Renaissance-Inspired Wedding Destination
The Ashley Castle is a grand wedding venue located in Chandler, AZ. This castle was the inspired project of the owners, George & Laura Duerr, after they came across 200-year-old doors in an antique store. Since its development, the doors have become a focal point for those who visit the estate. The medieval aesthetic flows throughout all the interior rooms, inviting couples and their guests to marvel the unique build. This beautifully crafted castle was established in 2006. Since then, it has continued to be a hub of activity. The Ashley Castle has been host to more than 5,000 events since the doors opened. The grounds, the staff, and The Castle itself are sure to impress! Wedding guests will find themselves strolling through carefully designed gardens that are full of wonder and surprises. These include features such as fountains, statues, columns, and pathways. An intricately crafted gazebo is nestled at the center of it all, presenting itself as a picturesque backdrop for any event and the focal point for each wedding processional. Inside, guests will first encounter the castle foyer. Here, there are two suits of armor that stand as sentries beside the main door. Also located in the foyer are the spacious suites that offer private closets and restrooms. Beyond the foyer, the 4,800sqft grand ballroom is an ideal spot for dinners and receptions. This room has glittering chandeliers, stone turrets, and polished marble floors. The 25-foot ceilings offer a generous sense of space and hand-painted walls preserve an authentic medieval ambiance. The staff at The Ashley Castle are ready to make couples feel like royalty!They offer a myriad of services, including wedding cakes, planning, invitations, lighting, and more. The venue it absolutely beautiful the staff are the best! I highly recommend booking The Ashley Castle for your event. From the very first meeting we were greeted with kindness and they worked hard to create our dream wedding. Every inspiration photo I had was taken into account and by the end of each meeting we were one step closer to having a wedding that was uniquely my husband and I. The staff are great communicators, any time I had a question I received an answer quickly. The food, DJ, flowers, and bar service was amazing and our guests had nothing but complements about the service. Thank you to The Ashley Castle for helping us create a day we will never forget!

My husband and I were married December 15,2023! Where to start! The entire team at the Ashley castle were the most helpful, kind and, sweetest people to work with! The food was out of this world, the aesthetic and decor was done perfectly to what we wanted! Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have had such a crew create such an amazing day for us. My husband and I live in a different state, so a lot of communication was done over email and they were always quick to respond to any questions that we had or clarifications about what we needed to do for our upcoming meetings. They were also very understanding with our schedule when it came to scheduling multiple meetings in one or two days to ensure that we had got what needed to be done in time for our wedding.Chrystie was the most enthusiastic and lively coordinator. She made sure the we had everything we needed and wanted for the day and more. She always spoke kindly and made me feel less stressed and nervous. She was extremely organized and was on top of every change and update! Whenever I asked for an opinion she was always honest and reassured me that everything was gonna be beautiful and perfect!Lori our amazing florist was the sweetest woman to work with! She was always honest and encouraging about what we wanted and made our floral designs came to life. We wanted very simple but romantic vibes, and her recommendations and visions were the most helpful during this process. I felt very comfortable around her she was so open to the ideas I had and would instantly suggest something that I felt made my vision better than I could have hoped! Her extensive knowledge in floral design, made this part of wedding planning extremely easy and way less stressful than I couldâve imagined! Jeff our fantastic DJ! He made the rest of the night a time to remember! He chose great songs from the lists that we provided for him, from Kpop to bad bunny it was always a party! He made the games fun, interactive, unforgettable! He was even sweet enough to check on us and offered to grab us some drinks when we were too busy to get some. We requested to have a private last dance, and he made sure that the room was cleared because he too stepped out to give us our private moment. Lastly he just made the whole evening lively and fun, our guests have asked us many times how they can go about hiring him for their future events! Our day of coordinators were some of the kindest people we could have on our special day! They made sure we were on schedule, but still having fun stress free! Of course all the staff is to thank as well, from the people in the kitchen to those who helped clean up! We really appreciate everyone who made this day so amazing!!

Growing up in Chandler I remember always driving by the Ashley Castle and being mesmerized and thinking how cool of a place it would be to get married. Then as I got engaged and we started touring a ton of places trying to select a venue I assumed it would probably my be way out of our price range. In all the running around we were about to sign with another location but decided on the way home to just stop in and check out the castle just out of curiosity. Much to our surprise it was both a good priced option but really all inclusive so it made everything so much easier. From the day we signed and started working with the team there everything was so organized and easy. Between golfers of information, checklists, reminders, etc it made the whole planning process so much easier and less stress. I canât even call out just one staff member as literally everyone there from owner to staff were all so helpful and friendly. I know they do hundreds of weddings a year there but somehow have a way of making you feel like yours is the only one and not like youâre just getting run through a wedding mill.Then with all the planning it lead to an incredible experience both with the rehearsal and wedding event. âMagicalâ is the best word I can use where we literally felt like we were in a fairytale. Iâm so glad we decided to get married here and would definitely recommend this place for your special day!

The venue is beautiful, the only thing is it had quite a few ants. They didn't interfere with too much, I just had to swipe them off my dress. The staff are AWESOME and friendly. They're super helpful and have weddings locked in. They helped me think of things that never crossed my mind, but are important. There were some things I had to pay extra for that I thought were included (ex: the o'dourves and curtains for decoration). As long as you're prepared for it, it is wonderful! I had no hiccups or drama. I highly recommend this place!

We are super happy with picking The Ashley Castle for our event. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Casey made it very easy at our design meeting to select everything. We were able to enjoy our time without worrying about anything. Definitely recommend having your special event at The Ashley Castle!!

The Ashley Castle was the perfect venue for us. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff is incredible.* It is also a central location near the freeway.Coordinator: We had the utmost pleasure working with Casey Cleary. Since the beginning, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Casey and I had email chains where I sent her lists of questions, and she always responded to each of them in a timely manner, welcoming any and all questions after. She set everything up before we arrived for the day! She printed labels for the buffet and extra desserts. I can't emphasize how helpful and kind she is. A few days before the wedding, we switched to texting, and she responded to me after business hours! She was not feeling well the day of, which she didn't reveal until cocktail hour, but told us she wanted to be there for us, me especially. I give her an infinity out of five.The space: We had a large wedding with 225 guests, and the ceremony and reception never felt crowded. Florist: When we were supposed to have our final floral meeting, we were reassigned to Laura. She reassured me and said we had more time to finalize our options, setting up a time to meet in person to go over everything before we had final email discussions. Laura was very kind and supportive and answered all our questions. We used our own centerpiece vases. I can be a control freak, so I was nervous about not seeing a mock bouquet, but I trusted in Laura, and they knocked it out of the park. They also draped our ceremony arch and their gazebo with fabric and faux florals we brought in.DJ: Jeff is awesome. He made a point of asking if there were any traditions or details to be aware of. He was a great DJ and was willing to play whatever music we liked and gave suggestions on the wedding timeline. He also offers sparklers, but we ended up providing our own. Catering: We had a handful of guests with dietary restrictions, and The Ashley Castle happily accommodated. What we liked is they were open to making a recipe per your request and accepted outside catering. We brought in hors d'oeuvres and extra dinner entrees from our favorite restaurants. Our guests loved all the food!Con: A minor obstacle we encountered was miscommunication between me and one of the other coordinators due to the shared email The Ashley Castle team has. There were only three times when things got a little confusing. Once in the beginning when we had a tentative hold on our wedding date and were told by another coordinator it was taken â she didnât realize it was reserved for us. A second time when we were planning our wedding rehearsal while Casey was out of the office and we were told it had to take place Thursday instead of Friday (the day before our Saturday wedding). Lastly, Casey was out of the office again, and some wires got crossed, but it was quickly remedied after we got back in touch with Casey. *The photobooth is an extra expense, and we were happy with their service. Their photobooth was the cheapest option we found, and we liked the natural backdrop of the castle tower, but they offered many backgrounds. We used their props and brought in some of our own. My name was misspelled on their menu screen, but they corrected it when I pointed it out. They provided template options, but we chose to create one ourselves, which Becca and Cody tested to make sure it printed nicely. If you are thinking of booking The Ashley Castle, I would highly recommend you do it â and fast!

We had our dream wedding at The Ashley Castle! My husband found the castle on Google after searching for months for a wedding venue. When we called to inquire about the castle, we were able to come visit the very next day for an open house. The staff was so kind, helpful, knowledgable, and truly wanted to know what would make our perfect day. We signed our contract the very next day. During the wedding planning process, the staff at The Ashley Castle had our best interest at heart the entire time of planning. They remembered tiny details that we discussed months ago, detailed all of our wedding choices, and suggested other phenomenal vendors like Frost Gelato! When people would call on our behalf to change wedding details, we always received a call from staff confirming our choices. In the end, we had an absolutely beautiful wedding that went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Ashley Castle for a day that we will always remember! And to top it all off, the venue is absolutely stunning! From the long driveway, the beautiful huge doors, the chandlers throughout, and that breathtaking garden, I am still in awe of its absolute beauty! I highly recommend this venue to any and every couple who considers it!

We are so glad we picked this venue for our wedding. Shout out to Chrystie who was the first person we met on our venue tour. She is so warm and bubbly and answered all of our questions. When we looked at other venues, my mind kept going back to The Ashley Castle and Chrystie's hospitality. This venue has a beautiful outdoor garden for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the indoor reception area is stunning with the beautiful chandeliers. Our wedding turned out to be much better than we could ever hope or dream for. Laura and her team did a phenomenal job with the floral designs. The floral arrangements were breathtaking. George and his team delivered delicious food. All our guests kept commenting on how tasty the appetizers and entrees were; also the portions were very generous. No one left hungry. Thank you Casey for working with us through all our design questions and answering my never ending emails and for being our day of coordinator. We were out of state but we were able to communicate without any problems. Thank you Rueben for your suggestions and being our captain day of. All the staff, servers, and bartenders were so kind and welcoming. Thank you all so much. What is also a great feature about this venue is how customizable everything is. You can really make your wedding how you want it to be without the limitations other venues provide. Also, providing your own alcohol is a huge money saver! Thank you all for making our wedding even better than I could've dreamed of.

My husband and I are so beyond grateful for picking The Ashley Castle to get married at! They truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was everything we wanted. Casey is absolutely phenomenal and made the process so much fun! I love how you are able to attend multiple tastings so you are able to try different things. Everything tasted so delicious, it was hard to pick. We would highly recommend getting married at The Ashley Castle. All of their vendors are AMAZING and the venue is so beautiful. Our guests were very impressed!

Casey is absolutely phenomenal and made the process so much fun! I love how you are able to attend multiple tastings so you are able to try different things. Everything tasted so delicious, it was hard to pick. We would highly recommend getting married at The Ashley Castle. All of their vendors are AMAZING and the venue is so beautiful. Our guests were very impressed!

I couldn't be happier with Ashley Castle. Originally before the wedding when we were in the planning process, we were planning on giving it a 4 because the food wasn't what we had hoped, yet everything else was great. The food was incredible and everyone enjoyed and actually commented on how full and happy they were. The staff and team are easy to work with, especially Christy and Casey. We had the wedding of our dreams and truly couldn't be happier. If you have any complaints or concerns they clearly look at that and adjust it to your specifications or needs. The day of she made sure everything was set up correctly and ran like clockwork. DJ Jeff was so easy to work with and understood the importance of certain songs being an exact version. Our guests loved the food & we enjoyed the tastings at the venue during the planning process. We did have issues with our point of contact in floral the entire time sadly. However, when I spoke to staff they said they would address it with the floral manager. Our flowers for the day were SO beautiful. My suggestion would be to keep all communication because you might have to show proof of things that were promised. TLDR: Casey is the coordinator you want at this venue; she will take wonderfully good care of you! We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Casey at Ashley Castle! Casey answered all of our planning questions, usually within 24 hours of asking them, and made us feel completely taken care of. She was friendly, always on top of our details, and gave us the \"real talk\". We never felt like we were just another wedding of hers; she made us feel like family. She executed our rehearsal, and made arrangements to set up all of my table settings, including favors, table numbers, chair ties, and linens. I didn't have to worry about a thing, but she arranged for us to arrive a few minutes early to scout the settings before pictures started. It was AMAZING. You want Casey as your coordinator if you work with Ashley Castle. I was a little disappointed in the coordinator that took over our wedding that day after Casey left. Before she left, Casey introduced us to Ashley, and let us know that she would be our \"point of contact\" for the rest of the evening. When it came time to cut the cake, Ashley asked me what we wanted to do with the groom's cake. (We paid an additional $60 to the cake vendor to ensure that my husband got a chocolate on chocolate cake that day and I appreciated her asking what my plan was with the cake.) I told her that I wanted my husband to have a piece and the rest to be boxed up for us. That was the last I saw of her, the whole wedding. She never came back to tell us that a piece was left for my husband at the Head Table and by the time we got back to it, the table had been cleared. After we paid extra, my husband never got any of his groom's cake that night. This was INCREDIBLY frustrating and a complete waste of money. It appears that Ashley left right after the send off sparklers were lit, and before she left, she didn't check in with me, my Maid of Honor, or my mom to confirm any details. The boxes in our getting ready suite had been carefully laid out by me to ensure that I could assign certain boxes to certain cars to go home, and she combined them all into one big mess that took me 45 minute to sort through. The only person on site from the venue at the very end of our wedding was the DJ, and that was very frustrating to me. Casey made an effort to check in with us before she left and ask if we needed anything more from her, and I expected the same from Ashley. I would HIGHLY recommend keeping track of your own budget with this vendor, as they did not provide a tracker of your payments nor did they provide a running invoice until after your contracted final payment was due. When the invoice did come through, there was a discrepancy, where they had a higher charge than what I was promised. They fixed it quickly, but if I didn't have my own budget going, it would have gotten missed.

We cannot say enough good things about the Ashley Castle. We thouroughly enjoyed our wedding and our guests all had a wonderful time. It was so eaay to work with the staff and they were very accommodating. It was nice to have a one stop shop for most of the wedding needs. The food and cake were both delicious. We had multiple compliments on how beautiful the ceremony and reception were, and we had very minimal decorations of our own. We would definitely do it all over again at the Castlw if we could. Highly recommend!

My husband and I never had to worry about anything! It was amazing! The food was incredible, DJ Jeff is out of this world, and the bartender was great! It was truly a fairytale wedding thanks to this wonderful place and its amazing staff :)

My (at the time) fiancé, my mother, and I were visiting the venue next door and accidentally pulled into the Ashley Castle. It took our breath away. I truly didn't want to go inside because I knew I'd fall in love with it and thought it had to be outside of our budget. My mom convinced me and we were lucky enough to be given a tour right away! As predicted, I fell in love with this venue. It was within our budget and they make the process so easy by providing so many vendors! My fiancé and I moved to another state during the wedding planning, as well as COVID adding complications, so the fact that the venue is fairly inclusive was a must. The Ashley Castle was so flexible and patient with us and always answered my questions in a timely manner. They kept us on track with planning and clearly know what they are doing. The ladies here are darling, they made us feel so comfortable and were lovely to chat with. Katie dealt with my New York Italian father with grace. The food is delicious. We had three tastings and truly struggled to decide which food to serve, it was all so yummy! Our guests made many comments on how much they enjoyed the food as well. The day of my wedding everything was setup exactly how we wanted, Katie was calm and took good care of us on our day. Thank you Katie for being incredible and thank you to The Ashley Castle for making our wedding so magical and gorgeous.

My wedding was everything I imagined it to be and more! The Ashley Castle staff went above and beyond to make my wedding dreams come true. From our insane signature drink, serving almost 250 people, and a giant east coast cookie table. Everything was perfect and we cannot thank them enough. The venue is beautiful, the pricing is more affordable than all of the other venues we saw, and the coordinators were fantastic! Katie was our coordinator, and she was fantastic at answering questions, explaining everything in detail, and helped calm my nerves on the day of despite the inclement weather. Catering is included, and the food was delicious! All of our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and the cake, which were provided by the venue's catering and Piece of Cake respectively. The Castle's DJ, Jeff, was also amazing and it was hard to tear everyone off of the dance floor. I was worried about how he would react to my list of songs that I wanted played, but he worked with me and had no issues with it! He knew exactly the type of music/reception would fit with our wedding and personalities. There is nothing I would change about my wedding planning or wedding day thanks to The Ashley Castle! :)

The ceremony was perfect and the premises was in pristine condition. We have not stopped receiving compliments on how beautiful everything was. More than anything though was just how easy it all was! So much is included in their Imperial package that it made planning super easy as well as organizing. The florist they work with is superb (shoutout to Aimee Schatz) and had everything looking phenomenal. We made our own arbor and their team was able to decorate it to perfection exactly how we wanted. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this venue and all of the people involved. My wife and I could not be happier with this venue for our wedding. The grounds and building were gorgeous, the food and cake were excellent, and most importantly the staff were extremely helpful and caring. Katie, our wedding coordinator, was especially helpful and made planning so easy. Compared to other venues in the valley we felt this was by far the best choice based on price and how nice everything turned out to be. Our wedding was even better than we could have imagined and a large amount of that is due to how great Ashley Castle and the staff were for us. Highly recommended, very worth the price in our opinion.

When I first started searching for venues for my wedding, I didn't even live in the state. There were too many options to look at. After looking through many beautiful resorts, I just couldn't pick. When my friend suggested The Ashley Castle and I searched it up, I was completely blown away! There is nothing more beautiful than it. It is so magical and entered my heart instantly. When the process of my wedding planning happened, they made sure to know exactly what I wanted. I had 4 different girls planning parts of it for me. The food tasting was so fun and the food itself was amazing!! The best part was that I was able to plan my entire wedding from a different state because they had packages and led me to the greatest vendors. I am so happy with my decision to have done my wedding here and my wedding was like out of a fairytale. The fireworks were so phenomenal, I felt like it was a dream! I have people calling me and telling me how beautiful the venue was and everything they set up for me. Aimee is the best florist you could have. She set up my gorgeous stage and centerpieces. She would call me and talk to me like she'd known me forever. The Ashley Castle faculty made me feel so comfortable and everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. Thank you guys for everything!

Laura, Katie, and Chrystie, the beautiful coordinators extraordinaire, were beyond amazing! They not only helped me plan the most beautiful wedding, but they went out of their way to accommodate and help me create the vision I wanted for my wedding. They were always available to chat, were always willing to hear my never-ending âthoughtsâ about my decor, they were quick to answer emails, and always greeted me with the warmest smiles and hugs.The Ashley Castle, just by itself, is absolutely stunning. It has beautifully maintained gardens with a gazebo, a fountain, beautiful flowers. It has quite the charm. But the added bonus of the warm, dedicated, and supportive coordinators, DJ, Florists and vendors take it to a different level. Aimee, the florist was exceptional. She took my vision and budget and produced the most creative and beautiful arrangements. She always listened and stretched herself to accommodate my many ideas. DJ Jeff was available to answer any questions and his photo booth was a hit at my wedding! If I could the Castle give more than five stars I would because five stars does not do them justice. I had my wedding here this past friday on February 16th, and could not imagine having it anywhere else. My wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and more. I got so many compliments on the food, the DJ, my invitations, the decorations, the ceremony and reception space and just about everything in between...and the best part, this venue does everything for you. They have vendors on site that will work for you and they are absolutely amazing. Laura, Chrystie, and everyone at the Ashley Castle were so spectacular and so friendly and easy to work with in planning and executing the most amazing fairytale wedding any girl could ever ask for. From start to finish, they made the entire planning process super easy and very fun for my now husband, my mom (my biggest helper!), and me. Having the flowers, the rentals, the food, the cake, and the DJ all go through them made everything so easy and hands-free, and when I did need to be involved it was fun and they were so accommodating. They worked with me to get my flowers exactly right when I wanted a deep dark blue color, which is not easy! The food was absolutely delicious, the DJ was so good, the decor was perfect and regal, and the added bonus of the fireworks made our entire night completely magical. Our guests can't stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, how tasty the food was, how amazing and fun the entire wedding was, and I can't thank the Ashley Castle team enough for everything. Thank you all for making my fairytale wedding become a reality!

A special shout out to Ashley Castle. If you are looking to find a memorable venue for your wedding you need look no further. From the pre-planning through the end of the night everything ran so smooth that I could not believe we just hosted a fantastic stress-free wedding. (In unexpected sweltering 116 degree weather no less) Do yourself a favor and get the Imperial package. So much is taken care of with that package and they know step by step what needs to be done without skipping a beat. From the D.J who read the crowd and kept the dance floor hopping to the wait staff and bartenders who made sure the food was perfect and the drinks were flowing. The consultants and the owner (Chrystie and Laura) are super friendly and this is one of the only venues I know that not only do not push up sales, in fact they do their best to save you money. I know weird right? If we thought we needed more of something they were quick to tell us we did not need that much. You bring your own alcohol or have Bev-Mo deliver it like we did (I suggest this since the wedding day is already crazy busy). No up charge! I cannot tell you how much that will save you and you get the exact alcohol that you want. Other places do a by the hour alcohol service-per person-and what they serve is most likely not what you want. The staff worried even more than we did about any little problems and anticipated them. They accommodated our early arrival with a smile. (Mind you they did not have a wedding before ours and we had a lot of out of town guests) The Brideâs room is gorgeous and so relaxing and the Groomâs room is the mirror image. Get the fireworks- you wonât regret it! For Brideâs, making the decision between one venue and the other can be difficult- this one is a no-brainer. Gorgeous-friendly-memorable. Many thanks for all they did to make sure our special day was absolutely amazing.

When my husband and I were searching for venues, we fell in love with the Castle. It is grand, beautiful and classic. Olivia helped us with the planning process. She noted what we wanted and make sure every detail was perfect. She communicated with our vendors well and because of it, our wedding was beautiful and just as I imagined. The grounds are beautiful and every photo taken, inside or outside, looked amazing. Jeff was our DJ, he nailed our music selections, our guests enjoyed dancing to American and Arabic music.

Loved our DJ and the day turned out perfect. The Castle is an incredible looking venue; we fell in love with it right away! We had our ceremony in the garden and our reception indoors. There is little problem with the venue itself, the problem lies with its staff.\rMany of the wedding coordinators are very nice and helpful, but between the time that I booked the venue and my wedding date (over a year) I didn't work with the same coordinator twice, nor did I ever see many of them again, except for Laura. Laura is extremely difficult to work with to the point that many vendors refuse to do any work at the Castle. Everything (from set up of the site to processional down the aisle) was her way or the highway. They were difficult to get a hold by phone and email -- but they sure were eager to talk to you when they wanted payment! We paid just for the venue, which was about $10k and all we got with the venue was ceremony/reception chairs and tables and an on-site coordinator. Their idea of on-site coordinating was literally just being there until I walked down the aisle and then they left. I may be biased since I plan events for a living and I would never have left my event site as the coordinator, but I thought that was odd.\rI went for a meeting that I opted to have less than a week before to review details with Laura. Even after over a year of planning she had many of the details screwed up. For example, after we explicitly told her multiple times we needed her to hire wine servers and have cocktail tables for us on the patio she still didnât know we needed that. It probably is due largely to their inefficient system of writing notes on scrap pieces of paper and sticking it in a folder with your name and wedding date on it. She also had us meet with the DJ that dayâŠafter I told her repeatedly, all year long, from day one that we wouldnât be having a DJ, we would be having a live band! They REALLY need to work on their organization.\rIn this meeting, we also saw that the quality of the outdoor ceremony chairs was horrendous. It was so bad that I demanded they bring in new chairs. Laura flat out refused at first, it was her husband George that actually agreed. They ordered new chairs, but they werenât going to be there in time for my wedding day, so I insisted they rent chairs. They didnât like it but I wasnât going to have my guests sitting in gross looking, dilapidated, rickety chairsâŠ.some of the seats of the chairs had even caved in under the cushions! It was literally a safety hazard and I told them that.\rOne of the big perks of this place is that they allow you to bring in your own alcohol, however, it is required that you hire their bartending service, Medieval Spirits (Lauraâs brother.) He and his staff were nice enough, but Laura demanded for them that they get their tip up front (since we opted for no tip jars) and we thought that was in poor taste. We later found out they were accepting tips from guests anyway, how tacky!\r\rIt appears as if this venue is in some major financial trouble. They have slipped on the maintenance/upkeep of the grounds quite a bit. It is pricey for what you get but we obviously thought it was the best venue around which is why we chose it (since we didnât want to go to a resort.) I wouldnât necessarily dissuade you entirely from getting married there, but just know in advance what you are up against and youâll be alright. On the wedding day, everything was beautiful, went off with minimal hitches, and we all had fun!

For the most part The Castle was fabulous. The positives were that it was a fairytale venue being a castle and beautiful inside and out. The challenges were the lighting in taking photos at the time of day having no shade of buildings or trees around. I wish they would have built the way you get married facing the Castle in the back yard. They designed the back yard where you don't face the Castle getting married. Other concerns were that you get different answers when taling with the staff about the same question. Over all,the important thing is. it was fabulous and beautful and turned out more than everything I dreamed of! It's a full package deal which is totally what I wanted. I didn't want to have to shop for vendors. I only had to get an officiant , photographer and videographer. I wanted to choose those myself without their requirements so it worked out great!

I wish they would have built the way you get married facing the Castle in the back yard. They designed the back yard where you don't face the Castle getting married. Other concerns were that you get different answers when taling with the staff about the same question. Over all,the important thing is. it was fabulous and beautful and turned out more than everything I dreamed of! It's a full package deal which is totally what I wanted. I didn't want to have to shop for vendors. I only had to get an officiant , photographer and videographer. I wanted to choose those myself without their requirements so it worked out great!

We had our reception at Ashley Manor and it was wonderful. The environment is great as was the service that came with it (we selected a package). The food, cake and DJ that was part of the package was great! Got many compliments on the music, the cake was delicious and the food was good. One of the reason we selected Ashley was that we had the option of the liquor (bringing it in our selves but a bartender was provided), which helped with the cost. It also is located close to hotels so our out of town guests did not have to drive far (as you could work with the hotel on shuttles which helped so nobody drinking had to drive). I always enjoyed going and meeting with the ladies at Ashley Manor because the place was great. The only minor concern was the communication (sometimes email was down or phone calls were not returned promptly). But the venue is very flexible and willing to work with couples. Will miss going there.

Our wedding is the biggest moment in a wonderful love story that has lasted for more than 20 years. When we were looking for a place for our ceremony and reception in the Phoenix area, the Ashley Manor raised above the others. The manor has beautiful gardens and an outside area covered by the trees canopy, which provides a comfortable setting even in the heat of July.\r\rThe staff at Ashley is extremely helpful. Once we worked with them on the details, they just made it happen.\r\rAfter seeing other locations and having had the our wedding at the Ashley Manor, if we had to choose it again, we would still choose the Ashley Manor.

My husband and I loved everything about the Castle! The staff was very friendly and always easy to work with. Their tables, chairs, linens, and centerpieces with flowers were included in the price, and they also have an inclusive package you can purchase for an additional cost if you do not want to have to plan everything on your own. The gardens, patio, and reception hall were beautiful, and there is really nothing else like it in the area. Even the suits of armor around the space were cool!

Beautiful garden area in back with fountains and gazebo. Gorgeous inside spacious and great wall color for backdrop for photos. Castle decor is perfect. Bride's room and groom's room are fabulous. The front doors of the castle make a stunning backdrop for bride and groom and for family photos (before dark).;The turret room used for the cake is dimly lit. It needs additional lighting especially for photos of the cake cutting. Bring an extra light like a spotlight or a freestanding park lamp.

My husband and I loved the outdoor gazebo where the ceromony was performed and we loved the gardens and the fountains and the beautiful, large ball room. I really liked the large room that was provided for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready.;The room for the groom and the groomsmen to get ready in was rather small and there was not a bathroom in the room with them so they had to walk down the hall to use the bathroom.

The venue was beautiful inside and out which made for good pictures. Several guests stated how beautiful it was. The food was delicious. The cake from Nancy Rays was absolutely spectacular!!! It was beautiful and delicious. It was also nice being able to bring in our own liquor as it cut down on price. I would highly recommend this venue to people who are proactive and don't mind being assertive.;The staff was friendly but not that helpful. They rarely contacted us unless we contacted them and sometimes not even then. Many times we called left a message and never heard anything back from them. And they need to spray for bugs. After dark there were many cockroaches.
