A Greenhouse Wedding
The Atrium is a greenhouse wedding venue located in Solon Springs, WI. This space is ideal for couples who crave a carefree, easy-going atmosphere in a garden-like setting similar to that of their own backyard. Located on 32 acres of forests and wildflower fields, this unique venue exceeds the dreams of most whimsical couples looking to throw a party their guests have never experienced. Owners Al and Lyndsey are both retired wedding photographers who got married and pursued a dream together. Their vision was to create a wedding venue where couples could experience the outdoors without the nerves of worrying about the rain. The property consists of gardens and woods combined with sheltered paths and fresh air, all surrounding a large, clear greenhouse, a second greenhouse as you backup ceremony space and courtyard. The beautifully tended gardens are dotted with outdoor tables and chairs, and at night, the furniture is illuminated by the endless fairy lights that hang overhead. The repurposed greenhouse is the center of the venue, boasting a high roof and spacious inside, making the building ideal for receptions and dinner parties. A retreat from the urban world, weddings surrounded by the great outdoors are the epitome of intimacy. The venue itself can host up to 200 guests and has rooms on-site for the wedding party to get ready. The Atrium hopes to ensure that your wedding day is perfect! The staff here have developed extensive connections and relationships with the very best suppliers to ensure that each couple can live out their dream wedding. Al and Lyndsey can give great suggestions for a smooth timeline and a list of fantastic local vendors. The bar, bartenders, chairs, tables, and more will all be available for the wedding party. The venue is open during the warmer months from May to October, so couples and their guests can take advantage of the scenic trails and bonfire ring while the weather is nice. Specific add-ons such as a photo booth, a decor package, and a wagon ride can all be arranged in advance for some extra fun.

The Atrium was absolutely amazing to work with! We're beyond happy with our experience. Lyndsey and Al were as involved as we needed them to be. As someone who doesn't live in the area, they're advice and recommendation for other vendors was greatly appreciated! They helped coordinate things during the day so everything ran smoothly. The space itself is gorgeous. They also do an amazing job updating the venue throughout the off season. You can tell there's a lot of care put into the venue. Loved the overall easy going vibe of everything. I highly recommend the venue!

The Atrium was absolutely amazing to work with! We're beyond happy with our experience. Lyndsey and Al were as involved as we needed them to be. As someone who doesn't live in the area, they're advice and recommendation for other vendors was greatly appreciated! They helped coordinate things during the day so everything ran smoothly. The space itself is gorgeous. They also do an amazing job updating the venue throughout the off season. You can tell there's a lot of care put into the venue. I could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married. We loved every second of the day and we owe a large part of that to Lyndsey and Al. The entire process was smooth from setting up a meeting to look at the venue, through the end of the night clean up on our wedding day. These incredible humans love what they do and are amazing at it. I would recommend the Atrium over and over and cannot say enough wonderful things about it.

If I could rate higher I would, The Atrium is beyond perfect. I don’t think words can really capture just how much we love this place. We never wanted our night to end! Lyndsey and Al are so amazing and you can really tell that they care about their venue and are passionate about making it an amazing place to get married. They work so hard and have so many hand crafted projects they are always working on making it an even more special and magical place to be. It’s just gorgeous there but also so unique it will make your wedding feel personal without you even having to decorate at all. They are so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, host open houses for couples to try out different vendors, set up decor for a trial run, etc… they really do it all before and during your wedding and all with the biggest smiles on their faces! (: We feel so lucky we were able to have our special day at The Atrium! I could go on and on about how phenomenal this venue is I don’t think it could fit in one review! I promise you will be so happy if you book with The Atrium!!! (:

I did a ton of research on venues and finally stumbled across the atrium. It was the first venue that my husband and I toured, and we knew from the moment that we left that we were going to have our special day there. Al and Lyndsey are absolutely the best. Our family is from Minnesota, but my husband and I are currently residing in Florida, and even from 1500 miles away, Al and Lyndsey were so helpful with every step of wedding planning. With communication I appreciated how sincere each message was. Sometimes with vendors you get super generic responses, but each message I received from Al and Lyndsey was detailed and specifically curated for our wedding.On our wedding day we had a last minute rain storm come in, and we had to make the last minute switch to an indoor ceremony site. Even though it was not what we were planning, Al and Lyndsey were all hands on deck making sure the indoor site was absolute perfect for us.. even down to helping open the doors for us to walk down the aisle at the perfect moment in each of our songs. Overall, the venue was so unique, so beautiful, and made our day so so special. We had so many comments from our guests raving about how \"us\" the space was. One of my favorite parts was the personalization of the space. This is one of those spaces where you could literally do as much, or as little as you wanted.. and it would look amazing either way. The venue already looks incredible, and decor honestly isn't needed. Everything you choose to bring just makes the space a little more \"you\" but nothing is truly required to make it beautiful. The bridal suite was beautiful and the guys suite was so unique and fun. It didn't matter where we were in the venue, every picture turned out so amazing. The only downside to this venue is the proximity to hotels. We choose to stay in Duluth and hire a bus to shuttle guests, and it worked super well. I know there more airbnb's are starting to be available in the area, so I can only imagine it is going to get easier and easier to find places to stay over time. This was the only venue my husband and I looked at and right when I met Lyndsey I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. Al and Lyndsey made our day so easy and really helped us have the wedding of our dreams! They were there every step of the way and had everything so organized! Al and Lyndsey are 2 of the kindest people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Between the hard work that they both do to continuously update the space, communicate with their couples, and keeping everyone happy on their special day, I swear to God there's nothing they can't accomplish. The space is beautiful beyond words. The outdoor ceremony site sits under a canopy of trees and leaves from the surrounding forest. The small clearing hidden behind the ceremony site is incredible for photo ops. The indoor site is in one of the renovated greenhouses on the land, and it adds so much natural beauty and charm to the space. Plus, knowing that I had the ability to switch to the greenhouse in case it rained gave me so much relief when booking this place. The bridal and groom suites are roomy and comfortable. The Atrium structure itself is beautifully decorated already with vines growing up the walls, overhanging lighting, and handmade tables. Yes, Al built all the tables. The bartenders were so kind to all of my guests, and we were offered a variety of beverage choices that we could order for the night. Having the fire pit available and a small corn hole game set up is so Midwestern, and I loved it.Overall this place would be perfect for anyone's special day, and I encourage people to continue to support this venue and the people who run it. My wedding and reception wouldn't have gone nearly as well had we went somewhere else. Al and Lyndsey are both great communicators, and are willing to work with couples and families to truly make someone's wedding the best it can be. 5 stars, 10/10, would strongly recommend!

The Atrium was everything we wanted and more when it came to our wedding venue! It was the first and only place my husband and I looked at, and we fell in love with it immediately. From the whimsical ceremony space in the woods, to the beautiful indoor spaces for the reception and getting ready (not to mention an equally beautiful indoor ceremony space as well), The Atrium was an absolute dream. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it all was! And, if the beauty of the space was not enough, The Atrium also comes with Lyndsey and Al who are absolutely amazing and some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met (as well as a couple of other staff who are equally as amazing and friendly). Lyndsey and Al were there with us from day one, offering to help in any way they could, which took a lot of pressure away from the planning process of our wedding. They are fantastic at communicating, checking in on us several times during the months that led up to the wedding and keeping us up to date with everything that was happening (changes, updates with the space, etc.). They really take the time to get to know the two of you as a couple and what you want for your special day. It felt like we were working with close friends the entire time, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them.There is so much we loved about our wedding day, and we attribute a lot of that to The Atrium. I do not think we would have had the same experience had we picked a different venue. I will, for sure, be recommending The Atrium to every engaged couple I know and absolutely cannot wait for an opportunity to return.

Al and Lyndsey really feel like family to us now! They took care of EVERYTHING day of during the ceremony, were always around but in the background so you couldn’t tell, and made us feel so loved. From their daughter taking us to the ceremony in a golf cart to Al making sure at the end of the night we got everything we wanted, I just can’t recommend this place more.And the venue is GORGEOUS! Even the candid iPhone pictures had a beautiful background. Everyone at our wedding kept commenting on how breath taking it all was. I cannot. CANNOT. recommend this wedding venue enough ❤️

Al and Lyndsey really feel like family to us now! They took care of EVERYTHING day of during the ceremony, were always around but in the background so you couldn’t tell, and made us feel so loved. 06.03.2023I wish I could give more than 5 stars.We first found The Atrium in 2019. We had to put planning on hold, which was not the worst given what followed in 2020. Spring 2021 came around and we began planning again! We emailed The Atrium on the previous messaging chain as before and got a response back that day. We of course put a deposit down as soon as we could because we knew that this was the only place that we wanted to get married.The Atrium is beyond expectation. We toured this venue first back in 2019 and met the owners, one of their daughters, and their beautiful pup. It was the warmest, family filled environment which made us feel right at home. The owners, Al and Lyndsey have this way about them that bring happy and calm to the entire experience. They are the literal BEST!They are constantly finding ways to make this venue more beautiful, even when you wouldn't think it possible because it is already perfect! The wedding guide they provides help in ways one would not expect. It is so easy to use and has lists of vendors that have been previously successful and enjoyable at the venue.From food trucks to plated dinners.. from pies and cakes to ice cream carts, this venue can house it all. The atmosphere is colorful, inviting, and not only will you fall in love with it, your guests will too!!The venue is dynamic for ceremony options. From the whimsical wooded are with hand crafted benches to the conservatory with the most beautiful vines and backdrop, you will not be disappointed if the weather is not what you thought it would be. They have thought of it all. The bridal suite and groom's area are spectacular as well!All day from the very start, we were told that this was the best/most beautiful venue that our guests and vendors had ever been to! For those who had been to weddings here previously were SO excited that they had an opportunity to come back and now we cannot wait for our next opportunity to return. 06.03.2023I wish I could give more than 5 stars.We first found The Atrium in 2019. We had to put planning on hold, which was not the worst given what followed in 2020. Spring 2021 came around and we began planning again! We emailed The Atrium on the previous messaging chain as before and got a response back that day. We of course put a deposit down as soon as we could because we knew that this was the only place that we wanted to get married.The Atrium is beyond expectation. We toured this venue first back in 2019 and met the owners, one of their daughters, and their beautiful pup. It was the warmest, family filled environment which made us feel right at home. The owners, Al and Lyndsey have this way about them that bring happy and calm to the entire experience. They are the literal BEST!They are constantly finding ways to make this venue more beautiful, even when you wouldn't think it possible because it is already perfect! The wedding guide they provides help in ways one would not expect. It is so easy to use and has lists of vendors that have been previously successful and enjoyable at the venue.From food trucks to plated dinners.. from pies and cakes to ice cream carts, this venue can house it all. The atmosphere is colorful, inviting, and not only will you fall in love with it, your guests will too!!The venue is dynamic for ceremony options. From the whimsical wooded are with hand crafted benches to the conservatory with the most beautiful vines and backdrop, you will not be disappointed if the weather is not what you thought it would be. They have thought of it all. The bridal suite and groom's area are spectacular as well!All day from the very start, we were told that this was the best/most beautiful venue that our guests and vendors had ever been to! For those who had been to weddings here previously were SO excited that they had an opportunity to come back and now we cannot wait for our next opportunity to return. Oh my gosh, I could not say enough good things about Al and Lyndsey and The Atrium. The reception area, both ceremony options, the bridal suite, and the grounds are STUNNING. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous every single space was. It's very boho/outdoorsy/romantic/fairy-esque... basically the most dreamy wedding space ever! I was in constant communication with Lyndsey. If I had a question, she would get back to me within hours, and was always so kind and detailed in her responses. On the day of the wedding we had some chancy weather, and I was able to talk to Al multiple times throughout, even changing my ceremony site about 30 minutes prior to start time. He was always available to answer questions, drive me around in the golf cart (lol), and even held my engagement ring for me during the ceremony when my poor heat-swollen fingers just would not allow it to go on my right hand! There is not one single thing we would change about our experience at The Atrium. They truly made us feel so comfortable, prepared, heard, and overall loved. You will NOT REGRET experiencing this magical venue and the absolutely amazing people in Al and Lyndsey who will make your day everything you could have ever dreamed of and more!

We can’t recommend The Atrium enough for a wedding venue! Our day was more than we could have ever dreamed of and we owe that to Al and Lyndsey! They went above and beyond to make everything perfect in leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself! Also, if you are considering the froze I highly recommend, it was fabulous and perfect for a summer day!

They have thought through every detail and scenario, and we loved the intentional and handmade details - from the lovely outdoor ceremony benches and arch, to the beautiful reception tables in the Atrium, to the charming ferns and gardens around the property! There is beauty everywhere you look at the Atrium!Our family and friends haven't stopped raving about how wonderful the celebration was - and how special this venue and it's owners are! Lyndsey and Al are the secret sauce - and the venue would not be the same without them and their dedication to providing an outstanding wedding experience.The only negative is that our wedding is over and that we can't rate over 5 stars, but we hope to have friends get married here in the future! This venue is the most incredible place I have ever been. We had our wedding on 8/27/2022 here. It truly was magical. Al and Lyndsey make everything go seemlessly. The Atrium is the BEST. I would say 10/10 stars. Lyndsey and Al are amazing!!! They put their heart and soul in making your day perfect. They are always thinking about how to make their venue better. The woodwork and flowers on the location is beautiful. Not only is the location BEAUTIFUL, it has an outdoor and indoor location to have your ceremony. And a wonderful bonus is that we were able to have our fur babies in our wedding. They are quick responders to messages and always friendly and helpful. I don't use this word a lot, but our wedding day was perfect. The Atrium did an amazing job with making that happen. They have a lot of knowledge about weddings and recommendations too, with how to make your day awesome. Love this place and so happy we chose it.

Not only did it perfectly fit our vision- ceremony space in the woods, indoor/outdoor reception on site, beautiful getting ready rooms- but Al and Lyndsey were also amazing to work with. They were there every step of the way to help and answer any questions I had. They were also so helpful on the day-of, everything ran very smoothly. We had a ton of work to do to and they even got up on ladders to hang decor in the rafters! Their venue was beautiful and I want to get married there every weekend!

Lindsey and Al at the atrium in Solon Wisconsin go over and beyond all measures to me a perfect wedding plan become more than that for the couple! The atrium is simply the MOST beautiful wedding venue around. Lindsey’s calm and funny attitude and care shows right through her smile! Our pictures she captured, captured true moments my husband I can can true my cherish for the rest of our lives. Al went above and beyond in helping and being sure I had all I needed for my little 8year old and entertained him when we were doing pictures, before and after, engaging and playing with him to keep him upbeat and engaged in what was happening all around! There was no stressor before, during or after as I had full confidence Lyndsey and Al were making sure everything flowed. We had an unusual wedding them. I am a city girl and my husband a hunting country boy. So we came up with a “The Hint Is Over” camo style wedding. Lyndsey stayed in contact for over a year helping me plan what I might think that would look like. I would call or email an ideas we had or pictures we found on how we wanted the decorations going up and where. In reception hall as well as how I wanted to walk down the isle. Al even made sure that my elderly or disable family could come and get back to the woods where we married by way of golf cart (which my little one loved the roses so much!) both there and back the long and beautiful yard leading back into the woods. Lyndsey did so well with pictures I literally didn’t not see her even capturing some of the MOST precious pictures of the wedding parts and yet each and every pictures is a master piece! Our wedding was a complete success beyond my wildest camo adventure imagination! The reception hall was decorated just as my mind imagined it would be and more! The yard outside was fun. Clean. And the fire pit was always full of gathered friends and family around it. Al made sure the fire kept going! The bridal suite was HUGE and had everything a bride could possibly need plus a back door that lead out to a beautiful running pond for some peace of mind prior to our “sneak peak” where my little one and I got gold carted out into the woods for my husband to get his first glance with me and me of him just prior to us actually walking down the isle! It was nothing we will EVER forget! Our pictures show every moment id wish to remember and more. At the reception tables were cared for and the bar always stocked. Every worker kind and accommodating. I cannot state enough that if you are reading this and are looking for an inside or like is an outside wedding the Atrium is where you need to book and Lyndsey Johnson is who you need to call! You won’t regret any part of the planning a wedding or having the dream unfold to the MOST PERFECT EXPERIENCE A BRIDE OR GROOM could have. Ever! The relationship that bloomed in support and kindness began at our walk through to see the place! As soon as I got out of our vehicle and we’re met by Lyndsey, I KNEW them and there I needed my unusual camo colors and style hunting wedding with her and her husband! She also came to our land for outside engagement pictures which everyone is STILL in aw over the ability she has to use natural lighting and catch moments we didn’t even know she caught. Thank you Lyndsey for making my every dream and my husbands wedding come true!

You won’t regret any part of the planning a wedding or having the dream unfold to the MOST PERFECT EXPERIENCE A BRIDE OR GROOM could have. Ever! The relationship that bloomed in support and kindness began at our walk through to see the place! As soon as I got out of our vehicle and we’re met by Lyndsey, I KNEW them and there I needed my unusual camo colors and style hunting wedding with her and her husband! She also came to our land for outside engagement pictures which everyone is STILL in aw over the ability she has to use natural lighting and catch moments we didn’t even know she caught. Thank you Lyndsey for making my every dream and my husbands wedding come true!

We absolutely loved working with Al and Lyndsey (the owners), who were previously wedding photographers that decided to start their own venue. You can tell they have an eye for aesthetics, but also practicality and are some of the easiest people to work with. They both were super easy to communicate with, answering all of our questions/concerns and even giving advice when needed! They worked throughout the day to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible The greenhouse they converted for the reception is gorgeous but well ventilated so it doesn't heat up. They even plan ahead for warmer days with fans to keep a nice airflow. It has a courtyard right outside the reception area that is wonderful for cocktail hour and yard games.The ceremony site has a tree canopy that keeps the area shaded and cool on the hot days, and only a small walk from the reception area. In the case of rain, they have a backup site within a different part of the green house that is debatably just as beautiful as the outdoor one.They own several acres surrounding the immediate area that has flower fields, woods, and other places for great photo opportunities. I recommend at minimum giving this place a visit to give it the justice photos simply can't.

From the stellar communication leading up the wedding, the day of organizing, helping, and ensuring everything went smoothly, to the teardown- Al and Lyndsey were present and ensuring our day was nothing less than perfect. The space itself is immaculate- the bridal suite was spacious, plenty of mirrors, and great lighting. The men hang out/getting area was great too. The property is huge with endless options for pictures including beautiful fields (best golden hour photos!) and woodsy outdoor areas to indoor spots in the various greenhouses. There are two ceremony options- an outdoor area in the woods and a back up option indoors for bad weather to give you peace of mind. While waiting for the reception, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour in the courtyard with beautiful flowers and greenery and room for yard games/etc. The reception site was perfect- spacious for 200 guests and had a large dance floor without having to shuffle guests and tables around. You are able to pick your own food vendor which I appreciated so there's room for personalization here. They supply the bar/staff and had a variety of options for everyone. After the wedding, Al and Lyndsey checked in for feedback on improvement and it is extremely evident they truly want to give couples the best experience. Overall, The Atrium well exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend them enough!!

Our wedding at The Atrium on June 11, 2021 was magical! ✨✨✨ The storm stayed away and we had beautiful sun all day! The outdoor ceremony site in the woods was a dream! They have an indoor site as well that is honestly just as beautiful!! And I can’t say enough about the gorgeous reception site, perfect size and location and so beautiful!! They also have amazing rooms for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready separately, new amazing bathrooms, a huge parking lot, a perfect little court yard for games, and sooo many nature spots for photos. It was so nice to be able to spend the whole day there and not have to drive to multiple different locations. And we stayed at the hotel in town, which is literally just down the road. I am so so happy and grateful that we got to have our big day at The Atrium! I highly recommend this place for your wedding!

I cannot recommend The Atrium enough. Al and Lyndsey have put so much of their blood, sweat, and tears into this place. We originally saw it when it was a newer venue and could envision what they were dreaming of. Their guide helped us find unique vendors, and we liked not being tied to a required vendor. The bridal suite is so bright and a perfect place to get ready in the morning. We loved the idea of having an outdoor and indoor option in case of rain. We ended up outside in the woods for ours which was perfect! The reception area was set up with tables for our florist when we arrived. Al went above and beyond for my stepmom. She had mentioned liking rose, and he put some bottles on the ice just for her because we were hosting other options. Lyndsey was our photographer. She made it so fun and got us previews back super quickly! The whole day was stress free due to both of them. We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our day!

Oh gosh, what can I even say that will cover it! I hated wedding planning, don’t like having my picture taken, and as a whole was so overwhelmed with wedding things... UNTIL I met Al and Lyndsey. They, with out a doubt, made our wedding everything I wanted it to be and more. Both, so kind, so genuinely caring, receptive to our needs and the needs of our guests. I always felt like a family friend as opposed to a client they were obligated to work with. All of my guests were absolutely obsessed with how spritely and bright Lyndsey was and how warm-hearted and wholesome Al was. They were responsive and kept us in mind throughout all the crazy COVID changes. They allowed us to come and visit numerous times for no reason other than to help ease my nerves and even let other family members tag along, going through the whole tour with my guest each time.We toured numerous venues, did phone consultations, and so much emailing - all of that ended immediately after touring the Atrium. With so many unknowns so early in the process I found comfort in knowing they would be there to help me figure it out as we went and they did just that. The venue is gorgeous, well maintained, comfortable, elegant, and can seriously be made to fit your “dream wedding.” I could not recommend them more. If you’re wanting to bring an extra touch of magic to your wedding reach out to them - they are made for this.

We have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Atrium. First off- we were planning a wedding almost 5 hours away, Al + Lyndsey were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. Not to mention planning a wedding during a pandemic. The whole facility is gorgeous, literally a photographic dream. It feels like home. It feels warm and so welcoming. Our entire experience from the beginning to the end was nothing short of amazing. It was the perfect space, with the perfect people running it. One of the saddest parts of our big day being over, it no longer seeing or communicating with Al + Lyndsey, they are truly amazing people with amazing hearts. They feel like old friends just from the little bit we've gotten to know them. You can FEEL their passion and heart in their space and the love they put into it really shines through.I always imagined myself getting married in the trees, and we had perfect weather in the perfect place. It felt straight out of fairytale. Everything is beautiful, perfect, and serene. We had the most perfect day & night and cant thank the Atrium enough for everything.

I contacted Lyndsey less than two months before our wedding, initially only asking for photography services. Lyndsey let us know that The Atrium had a cancellation on our wedding day and would be able to accommodate our ceremony, in addition to her stunning photography. Although we had already postponed our bigger reception to next year and just hosted a small group of our immediate families and wedding party, Lyndsey and Al made our day feel so special. Lyndsey was prompt in answering emails and provided many suggestions on the best use of the space to help the day run smoothly. I also liked how the billing was straightforward without any \"surprises\" being added at the end. On the day of the wedding, I was impressed by Al and Lyndsey's incredible flexibility. First, they had both the indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces set up since there were chances for rain throughout the day, to allow us to make a decision at the last moment. When we had a huge downpour at the start of the ceremony, Al gathered up umbrellas from their house and ran back to provide them to our guests. At another point during the ceremony, I noticed Al holding a groomsman's toddler! They both got soaked multiple times but kept a positive attitude the entire time! In addition to the fantastic hosts, The Atrium is an absolutely gorgeous venue, with helpful signage for guests, functional yet beautiful getting ready spaces, and so many options for personalization. I felt that the ample outdoor areas and open spaces helped guests feel more at ease attending an event during a pandemic. We also had the wagon ride, which the kids really enjoyed! Al and Lyndsey have so many ideas for The Atrium's future; I truly think this venue will just keep getting better and better. When my husband and I were looking for a venue for our wedding, we wanted a place for our family to celebrate with us that was completely unique. We wanted a venue that had room for dancing, but also had space for our guests to relax and escape the party. While searching the internet, I stumbled upon the website for The Atrium. The venue was pretty new (they had only hosted a wedding or two for some friends), but I was intrigued by the potential. I inquired on their website and was impressed with how fast and attentive Lyndsey was with her response to my email. We set up a time to tour their facilities, and upon arrival, we knew we had to go with The Atrium for our special day. Al and Lyndsey went above and beyond to make us feel confident that we had made the right choice. You can tell as soon as you meet them that this place is their passion project and every week they are pouring their heart and soul into this dream to make it perfect. They have thought about every detail and have added so many personal touches that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. The bridal and grooms suites were spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the handmade oak tables, and enjoyed eating dinner while the sun went down and created the perfect ambient lighting in the greenhouse style reception area. Although we originally planned to have our ceremony in the woodsy outdoor location, we ended up having our ceremony in their extra indoor ceremony space due to poor weather. Luckily, Al and Lyndsey thought of everything and we didn’t have to worry about notifying guests of the last minute change because everything was all at the same location. Al and Lyndsey Johnson are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. If the past year is any indication, The Atrium will continue to amaze couples for years to come as Al and Lyndsey grow their vision and build an experience that will be unforgettable to anyone who visits.

Describing how amazing this venue is- and the owners, Lyndsey and Al, is tough to put into words. Wedding planning is stressful-and expensive! The Atrium is worth every penny. There’s no hidden costs, there’s no crazy upcharges. Al and Lyndsey make themselves so available to their clients, you feel like you are working with close friends/family. They truly want to do everything to make your day special, and it shows how happy they are to be a part of people’s special day. They understood our vision and our vibe, and were willing to do whatever they could to help us get there. They were so fun and relaxed, yet able to make us feel comfortable/assured that everything would be perfect. Lyndsey is so organized-she thought of things that I would have missed! We still keep in contact from time to time, because they are truly amazing people with the brightest souls. The venue can be made into whatever vision you are thinking, and the whole town of Solon Springs will be rooting for you on your wedding day-seriously the cutest little town. Couldn’t have asked for anything more from our wedding venue. It really made our wedding day the unique, personal and fun experience that we wanted it to be for ourselves and our guests! They were both present on our wedding day and were like another set of personal attendants. They made the day so smooth. They have such a fun, unique and warm-hearted persona that adds to the beauty of The Atrium. We received so many compliments about our wedding and how beautiful the ceremony and reception sites were-and it photographs beautifully! A million thank yous to Al and Lyndsey!!! Hands down the BEST choice we made for our big day! Al and Lyndsey are an absolute dream to work with, they answered every question (even the stupid ones) that we could come up with. They were very accommodating in every way. Plus, the amount of wedding knowledge these two have is insane. They were able to help us in so many ways. Our guests loved it just as much as we did! We hosted 180 guests and it was perfect. Like a dream. Lighting, bar, courtyard, two beautiful rooms to get ready it! It has everything you could possible want and more! This venue really requires minimal decorating because of its natural beauty. I can't wait to come back either for another wedding or just to stop out and say Hi!! to Al & Lyndsey. Amazing. I love these people and this venue! Thank you! It will be the best choice you've made!

Ahh The Atrium. A dream come true. My husband and I found the Atrium when finding a wedding venue felt impossible. We went and toured with Lyndsey and fell in love. The whole process of working with Al and Lyndsey was great. We had no clue to what we were doing but they made us feel comfortable and at ease. We originally planned to have the ceremony outside. As the big day got closer we realized that we should probably have the ceremony in the indoor ceremony spot. I sure am glad we decided to do so. It was a dream. The Atrium is the most beautiful venue. When we saw it, we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. Newly renovated, modifications to the buildings/property were planned w/thoughtfulness & executed w/precision & ingenuity. The Atrium is gorgeous, well-kept, inviting, spacious, & designed w/areas to fit any event/mood. Signage clearly indicates entrance & parking, & bridal party & guests could easily tell where to go.The getting ready areas are beautiful, airy, & comfortable. We had space to lay out hair/make-up supplies, gowns, accessories, food, etc. The combination of spaces allowed us to have gals in one room & guys in another so we didn't see each other before our first look, plus a common area between the two rooms for breakfast & lunch, & an ironing station. It was a very calming place to prepare.The indoor ceremony space is elegant, bright, & clean. If it had rained, we would have happily pledged our love here. The stunning wood-paneled wall makes the perfect backdrop behind an elegant wreath that can support any floral/decor.We were married in the woods ceremony space, which was truly a dream come true. As golden sunlight filtered in through the just-changing leaves, we were in a cathedral of trees. This space is intimate, natural, & gorgeous. The benches are simple & sturdy, so they're comfortable w/out detracting from the wild quality. The woodslice cobblestones subtly define the altar area & provide good footing on softer ground. The center of the altar is an ancient oak exuding a calm strength & timelessness as it reaches skyward. There's a square wooden arch at the front that could hold any floral/decor. There are trees standing throughout the seating area, which feel like pillars in a church, & they give a weight of importance to the space.The reception area is a large greenhouse & a chic courtyard w/bright strips of green lawn between walkways. Both are tastefully appointed w/bistro lights & naturally feel joyful & celebratory. Add in music & food, & you've got a party! We seated our guests at the beautiful hand-made plank tables A&L built for the Atrium. They're so pretty that we decided not to cover them up, skipping tablecloths entirely (a budget win, & beautiful), & had floral/greenery garlands running the length of the tables. The chairs are attractive & comfortable w/out chair covers. We added to this beautiful building with mood-enhancing uplighting in our colors.Other highlights for photos/exploring include: pond w/stream, orchard, prairie/meadow, paths through the woods, campfire, & outdoor bathroom set-up (port-a-potties, cutely wrapped in a stacked log privacy wall, equipped w/sink w/running water). We rented a bathroom trailer because we had some guests w/accessibility issues, plus my dress was just too floofy to fit in a port-a-potty.Most important of all, L&A are the best possible people to run this spectacular venue. They are kind, compassionate, creative, energetic, thoughtful, joyful, & a true pleasure to see in action. They considered every nuance of our wedding plans & made sure that our vision & ideas were achieved/surpassed. In designing our reception floor plan, A&L honored our idea but tweaked the layout to improve food line flow. This same thoughtfulness was apparent in every decision we made, & the result was a truly personalized, gorgeous experience that felt exactly like us. Other than choosing each other, the Atrium is the best wedding choice we made. We toured venues all over Minnesota and finally stumbled upon this one after looking for a few months. The second we got there we absolutely fell in love. From the bohemian decor in the bridal suite to the ceremony site in the woods we couldn't stop talking about it. Finally the day came and everything came together perfectly. Al and Lyndsey were absolute gems to work with, honestly they may be our favorite people and they made our day go by seamlessly. We are still receiving compliments to this day from our guests.

In addition, Lyndsey and Al are ROCKSTARS! They definitely know and love what they do and went above and beyond to make our day so special. We received so many compliments on the beauty and hospitality at the Atrium. We couldn’t be more happier with our decision to have our wedding here! Highly recommend!

Lyndsey and Al made our wooded forest wedding dream come true! We booked before they were finished with the venue, but we had full faith in them that they could make our vision come true! They went above and beyond what we expected and were so accommodating the day of the wedding and made sure we had everything we needed. They are super fun and friendly and we felt like we became good friends from just the two short times we met with them. Highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a wooded, fairytale wedding. We were the first to get married in the wooded ceremony space and it was SOOOO sooo magical... Better than I had even imagined. The rustic wood benches and the winding trail leading back to the space all made it so special. We will never forget our magial day at the Atrium!

7/27/19 has officially gone down in history as one of the greatest (if not greatest) days of our entire lives. The Atrium will certainly be one of the most sought after venues in the WI/MN area. Everything was perfect and we are eternally grateful to Al and Lyndsey for making it happen. Their energy lives in that place; it is so incredibly vibrant, peaceful, comfortable, and happy. We can never relay the extent of our gratitude--not only for the space, but for them. They pay attention provide thoughtful details to each space in the venue. Also, every person I talked to could NOT get enough of the beauty there! Al and Lyndsey are always an email, text, or call away. They have answers to all your questions and you will ALWAYS leave the conversation feeling better and more sure than when you started. This venue is the perfect space for every occasion and every vision of a perfect day. The charm of the space speaks for itself. I will forever be passionate about The Atrium! It has something for everyone, you couldn't be disappointed. (PS: the website is glitching and won't let me choose 7/27 for my wedding date...so I had to select 7/26)

They say a person's animals oftentimes reflect the qualities of their owners; in my opinion, it's also true of the personal spaces folks create. All that to say, The Atrium reflects the fun, earthy, bohemian vibe its owners, Al and Lyndsey radiate. It's a place that encourages a couple and their guests to relax, let down their hair, and fully celebrate and enjoy what promises to be the one the best days of couple's life together.

I was only a bridesmaid in the wedding but the owners were willing to pitch in with decorating and preparation the morning of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect for the ceremony and reception. They even made us coffee for while we were getting ready. Great place to hold a wedding!

So many amazing, beautiful, and thoughtful touches make 'The Atrium' one of a kind. You feel as if you are in the most wonderful dream that you never want to wake up from. Everything from the decor, to the strategically placed apple orchard. You walk in and you are instantly surrounded by a peace and calming feeling. The staff is friendly, helpful, fun, and all around awesome. I may just renew my vows there! :)

I photographed my first wedding at the Atrium, and I left absolutely speechless! Al + Lyndsey did such a beautiful job. From the indoor AND outdoor ceremony space, the lighting, down to all of the little details .. I was in heaven! Not to mention how inviting Al + Lyndsey are. You will not be disappointed when choosing the Atrium.

Not only is the place beautiful and efficient, the hosts are seriously amazing to work with. They are so professional and both have a lot of experience with weddings/events making them an incredible team to work with. Also, the stage is really set here for awesome photos as perfect lighting and backgrounds are at no shortage. Another thing I was really impressed by is how well the place handles a lot of people. Everyone knew where to go and when to do it and it just carried a really nice flow.Another thing we really appreciated was that parking was clearly marked and very abundant making so that required little to no attention allowing us to focus on other (more important) things. This was a wonderful venue and I would recommend it to anyone!

At noon on Thursday there were only lights hanging and curtains dividing the venue. By 6 pm, the tables were set and everything looked awesome! 24 hours later, we experienced a memorable night of amazing food, drink, music, and LOVE!! Lyndsey and Al transformed a greenhouse into an amazing wedding venue. 3 months earlier when it was still a garden center, we weren’t sure. But Lyndsey and Al’s confidence and determination made us very comfortable with the decision to be the very first wedding in the Atrium. And we would do it all over again. Thanks for making our daughter’s wedding the best day ever!!

Even though we haven’t had our wedding yet we already know it’s going to be Perfect! The Atrium is gorgeous and the grounds around it are beautiful. And to top it all off Al and Lindsey are wonderful to work with!! They’re fun and they have so much helpful knowledge on how to make everything so smoothly. They also have lots of helpful suggestions for things you may not have even thought of before. I know I haven’t even had my wedding yet, but I’m not worried at all! It’s such an amazing location it’s going to be great no matter what!
