I could not have had a better experience with my wedding at the Providence G! It was important to me and my husband to have a wedding day with as little stress as possible and Lauren, Ashlyn, and their team were key to making that happen. We planned our wedding from Louisiana so we really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with them. Lauren collaborated with all of our vendors prior to the wedding day to make sure everyone was on the same page. Our wedding day flowed so seamlessly we really didn't even have to think about what was happening next. We also had our rehearsal dinner and drinks at Sarto the night before and are still receiving compliments on how good the food and cocktails were. The next day our ceremony took place in the ballroom, cocktail hour on the roof, and reception back downstairs in the ballroom and they were able to guide and move all of our guests to and from the roof in the elevator quickly. We ended the night in G Pub with more food and arcade games. We had an incredible weekend and we are so thankful for the team at the Providence G!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We loved our wedding here!

Perfect wedding venue!! Everyone on the events team at the G made our wedding day so stress free and fun! The event staff at Providence G was exceptional. Our entire wedding ceremony through reception was flawless. Someone was always available when we needed anything from responding to emails through the entirety of our big day. I would recommend them over and over again I wish I could do it all again!

We got married on 9/24/23 and had such an amazing wedding! The staff at the G was absolutely fabulous and made this whole process so easy. The staff was so diligent with 2 calls prior to the wedding to go over everything, details at our rehearsal, and day of coordination. Absolutely stunning venue and top-tier team! The G made us feel so relaxed and welcome, they take their work seriously, but also do it with a smile on their face and made sure that we were relaxed and supported. I don’t even know where to begin other than THANK YOU!!! I could not have asked for a better location and staff to have my wedding at. The roof top cocktail hour was absolutely stunning, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere & staff (SHOUT OUT TO DANIEL!!) was simply perfect. We had our ceremony as well as our reception in the ballroom and my gosh was it stunning! Every vendor that the Providence G ballroom connected us with was top tier! And now to the most important part of my wedding, LAUREN! LAUREN LAUREN LAUREN! I legitimately have tears in my eyes as I’m writing this because I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect, knowledgeable, patient and hard-working individual to make my dream day a reality. And every question comment and concern I had she put at ease immediately. Lauren’s quick responses and adaptability was through the roof. Throughout the entire process of planning my wedding for over a year, She was my calming guardian angel. She could tell through a simple email or text my stress level, and as soon as I spoke with her every worry went away immediately. Lauren is a powerhouse and anybody that has her as their coordinator is the luckiest person on earth. She is so hands on from the moment she meets you until the moment you are going home from the wedding. We stayed an extra day in town with all of our wedding, party and family and somehow last minute she was able to set up at the rooftop a fire pit with water stations, a huge dining room table outside for 18 people in the middle of their busiest time on Saturday. I will never be able to put into words how thankful I was, and still am for Lauren. It’s rare you come across somebody like her, and I am so grateful that I did, and she will always hold a very special place in our lives for all she did & continues to do. I also have to give great thanks and praise to Meaghan at the G as well! Not only is she so personable and funny, but a lot like Lauren she was on top of everything. The two of them together are a force to be reckoned with. Those two girls in my opinion are the perfect dynamic duo! All I can say again is thank you thank you thank you! The best day of my life wouldn’t have been the same if it weren’t for Lauren and Meaghan. Not just the wedding or reception but them as people, as professionals, they are, and will always be a part of the magic that was my wedding.

I just got married at the Providence G and it’s truly a beautiful venue. The rooftop is such a unique part of the experience and we feel so lucky to be married in the heart of the city! I would be remiss, however, if I didn’t provide a warning to future brides and grooms about the space: it does not have the capacity to keep guests comfortable during summer months. -It was incredibly hot in the ballroom, to the point where guests left early. The fans do not provide adequate coverage and while we were assured prior to booking the space that multiple fans and misters would suffice–that wasn’t the case on Saturday. Only two fans were provided and everyone was sweating. -Our wedding coordinator, who came as part of the contract we signed, was missing for the majority of our wedding. There were a number of issues that came up (lighting, the messiness of the bathroom, staffing of the bar) that her assistant (who was hidden in the lobby) was unable to help resolve. Moments before I walked down the aisle, our coordinator checked in about the cocktail hour bar menu, and it was wrong, which left me stressed during the ceremony. Additionally, she never once checked in on us during the entirety of the reception which was incredibly shocking given the messaging she relayed to us about “being there every step of the way” when booking the venue.-About 15 minutes into dinner, the bar ran out of cabernet, Miller Light and prosecco. We ordered the premium package for our 125 guests, so we are still unclear how this happened. The food during cocktail hour was excellent (highly recommend the eggrolls and sliders!) and the rest of the staff was professional and great. We were just overall extremely disappointed by how our expectations for attentiveness to basic inquiries fell dramatically short during the reception. We would have booked a different venue if we knew how uncomfortably hot it would be and if we knew our coordinator would not be available during the most important day of our lives.

Book this venue for your wedding! If I could give more than 5 stars for the service I received from the ladies at the G I absolutely would. I started planning my wedding about a year and a half ago, and from the very beginning the amount of communication and support I received from Lauren and Ashlyn was AMAZING. They respond promptly to every question, and always make sure they provide you with everything you need. Leading up to the big day, they made sure to meet with me in person and made sure I had everything figured out and ready to go. From the rehersal to the big day, I am still in shock that nothing went wrong. I for sure thought something would happen even a little small thing but these girls really made sure I had my dream wedding without me having to stress the day of. Just simply amazing I can’t even put into words how thankful I am! After our cocktail hour, they even snagged some hor d'oeuvres for me and my husband and made sure they were downstairs ready for us to eat before we walked into our reception, in case we didn’t get to eat all of them during cocktail hour. And during the reception, Lauren even let me have a new pair of flip flops she had at her desk because my feet hurt so bad haha. I just couldn’t have asked for a more stress free wedding day and they were a big part of that. Thank you Lauren and Ashlyn for making my day so amazing!♥️

Book this venue for your wedding! If I could give more than 5 stars for the service I received from the ladies at the G I absolutely would. My wife and I fell in love with the Ballroom at Providence G for our wedding. We loved the idea that the venue allowed you to build your wedding vision. We couldn't be more thankful of how our wedding day turned out. We did a ballroom ceremony, a beautiful rooftop cocktail hour & Ballroom reception. The ambiance was just wonderful, the Ballroom was stunning-beautiful, and every single detail about our wedding at this venue was perfect. We can't thank Lauren, Ashlyn & the rest of the G Hospitality staff for making our wedding vision come true! From the very beginning Lauren and Ashlyn were easy to communicate with, flexible, and were so knowledgeable. We loved that every single option and question that we asked they were open to work through. We loved every aspect of working with Lauren and Ashlyn! They are great at what they do, very professional and truly co-ordinated every aspect of our wedding. Words cannot describe how thankful we are about the turnout of our wedding. They are awesome. Their service at the wedding was excellent. We are thankful we chose the Ballroom at the Providence G and GHOSP team. The rooftop ceremony/cocktail hour gave us incredible views of the city while the ballroom gave us the look/feel of a sophisticated reception. It's location in the heart of the city gave our guests so many options as far as hotels and things to do. Lauren was incredible to work with from day one...so attentive, communicative, and patient with all our needs and questions. Due to a family emergency she was not able to work our big day but still made time to show up later in the evening to see us (we <3 you). You'd never know that the team we worked with the day of wasn't involved from the beginning. Ashlyn took over as our ceremony/venue coordinator...she was equally as fantastic and also so personable. Our wedding ran smoothly, we were completely stress free - it was just so perfect in every way possible. We also booked the G-Pub for our Friday night rehearsal/\"welcome dinner\" as well as our post-reception after party (which Lauren was able to completely book for us as well) and even that space didn't disappoint with the games and food/snacks! Ultimately the perfect venue and staff for our most special day!

Best decision we've made. The Providence G was the first venue we looked at - and the last. We were so blown away by the roof top and the ballroom and loved all that the venue had to offer. Lauren and her team were so amazing - constantly answered our questions, steered us in the right direction, gave us advice, vendors -- and just know the ins and outs. They have such great relationships with their vendors, so it makes it so easy on your wedding day because they just all work as a team. We dropped off all of our wedding items the day before - and we were blown away with how they set everything up. Not one detail was missed. Lauren and her team coordinated our whole wedding weekend perfectly. Not one flaw. We also did our rehearsal dinner at Sarto, the restaurant nextdoor, and that was unbelievable too. Our wedding day was perfect - everyone has been telling us it was the most stunning venue and we couldn't agree more. Book your wedding here!! We wish ours wasn't over.. Thank you Lauren and team!!

Best decision we've made. The Providence G was the first venue we looked at - and the last. We were so blown away by the roof top and the ballroom and loved all that the venue had to offer. Lauren and her team were so amazing - constantly answered our questions, steered us in the right direction, gave us advice, vendors -- and just know the ins and outs. They have such great relationships with their vendors, so it makes it so easy on your wedding day because they just all work as a team. We dropped off all of our wedding items the day before - and we were blown away with how they set everything up. Not one detail was missed. Lauren and her team coordinated our whole wedding weekend perfectly. Not one flaw. We also did our rehearsal dinner at Sarto, the restaurant nextdoor, and that was unbelievable too. Our wedding day was perfect - everyone has been telling us it was the most stunning venue and we couldn't agree more. Book your wedding here!! We wish ours wasn't over.. Thank you Lauren and team!!

Cannot recommend Providence G enough! We had an absolutely perfect wedding day this past May. Lauren and her team were extremely organized and communicative leading up to the event, taking care of every last detail ahead of time. And then on the day-of, I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single time we needed something, Lauren and her assistant were immediately on it - making sure we had everything we need to have a perfect, stress-free night. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Cannot recommend Providence G enough! We had an absolutely perfect wedding day this past May. Lauren and her team were extremely organized and communicative leading up to the event, taking care of every last detail ahead of time. And then on the day-of, I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single time we needed something, Lauren and her assistant were immediately on it - making sure we had everything we need to have a perfect, stress-free night. If I could do it all over again, I would still book at the Providence G.The location is beautiful, from the cocktail hour on the rooftop to the classic ballroom downstairs. Everyone at my wedding was so impressed with how gorgeous this venue is!Rebecca is an absolute joy to work with. She knows her stuff and is always willing to give out recommendations to make your life easier. She also is prompt and kept the entire wedding on time, while also making sure my husband and I had everything we needed.Communicating with vendors can be difficult, but Rebecca made that easy. When I asked whether we could put a basket in the bathroom, she sent me a picture with exact measurements within 12 hours. She did the same thing with the tables and anything else we needed.I would highly recommend getting married at the Providence G - and am so happy we chose it!

I could not be more happy with having the Providence G as our wedding venue on October 20, 2018! We had our cocktail hour on the roof deck with the fireplaces and it was absolutely gorgeous and the food was great! We had the reception in the ballroom which was so elegant and beautiful! Lastly we had our after party at the G Pub downstairs with snacks and games which was so convenient and fun! The venue itself was great but what made our day beyond perfect was the wedding coordinator Rebecca Miller who did everything from helping us with vendor selections to running around the day of to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of and more - she helped to get a stain out of my dress when I dropped and app and helped with my very difficult bustle and everything in between! I could not recommend the venue and Rebecca more! If you are considering having your wedding here you will not be disappointed!!

There are not enough great things to say about The Ballroom at The Providence G. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect location for our Great Gatsby Themed reception. We were able to transform the room to reflect our exact vision. We hosted our cocktail hour on the Rooftop of the Providence G and it was perfect. The multiple outdoor fire pits with seating were fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing.Rebecca! She is every bride's dream. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet! Every email was answered almost instantly, she had every answer to every question and was always one step ahead of the game. She went above and beyond for us making sure we had the perfect, stress free day! It was an absolute pleasure working with her !

I cannot say enough good things about the Providence G! From the moment I toured the venue over a year before we got married, I knew it was meant to be. Rebecca and her staff were exemplary, working with all of our vendors to coordinate and execute the MOST perfect wedding, cocktail hour, and reception a girl could dream of! I can't thank them enough for doing all the dirty work and letting my husband and I truly enjoy the day!One thing I want to bring up - we were supposed to have the ceremony on the roof, but due to inclement weather, Rebecca requested we move it inside the ballroom. At first, I was completely distraught, thinking all my plans had been ruined. Brides, do not fret - I am so grateful I listened to her!! The ceremony inside was spectacular - just as beautiful as it would have been outside, and the rain cleared just enough that we still were able to have cocktail hour on the roof! The ballroom looked stunning for both the ceremony and the reception, and we ended up having the absolute best day. I wish I could go back and do it again 10 times over! Thank you to the Providence G team for the best wedding. Ever. Seriously :)

This venue is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on their roof in historic downtown Providence and our reception in the ballroom. The venue had a gorgeous, high end feel for a modest price. The event manager, Rebecca, and her staff are extremely helpful, attentive, and easily reached. I would strongly recommend!

The day of the wedding the bartending staff was incredible, and Rebecca was there from start to finish. The staff had things covered before it was even a thought to us. We opted for the cocktail hour on the rooftop- and its was gorgeous, and wonderfully executed. The first time we saw the ProvidenceG we knew it was the perfect wedding venue for us! We wanted a venue that was architecturally interesting and the ProvidenceG offers three extraordinary spaces. The Rooftop allowed us to have an outdoor experience while still being warm on the 36 degree day. And their pizza and apps are amazing! The Ballroom was the perfect blend of modern minimalism and classic character. It allowed our vision to come to life and the guests never left the marble dance florr. We ventured down to the GPub after the reception which is a large industrial space that had plenty of room for the guest that wanted to continue the night. Rebecca was a gem – I really valued her opinion and she was able to help with all my questions and concerns. My friends and family were overwhelmed with how much fun they had and how unique of a wedding experience the ProvidenceG provided.

We had our cocktail hour and reception at the G and could not be happier with our experience throughout the planning process. Rebecca was an absolute pleasure - always responded quickly and made sure everything was in place day of. The rooftop and ballroom are beautiful spaces, our guests were raving about how unique and cozy the rooftop is. Everything turned out perfectly! We are so happy to have had our wedding night at the G, no other venue in Providence can compare.

I had my wedding at the Providence G at the end of April and it was absolutely perfect. Rebecca, the coordinator at the Providence G, was amazing. She helped coordinate with the vendors and even helped organize our ceremony which made it so I didn't have to worry about anything. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the roof, which was a beautiful backdrop for our wedding day. We barely needed any decorations on the roof, because of how beautiful the venue is. Then we had our reception in the ballroom. The ballroom is a clean slate with beautiful white marble and chandeliers so I could make the room look like my dream wedding. The venue allows you to bring in all of your own vendors so the wedding had everything the way I wanted it. I am so happy I chose the Providence G for my wedding day!

We not only had our ceremony at the Providence G but our rehearsal dinner as well (roof deck restaurant). From start to finish it was 5 star all the way! The venue is beautiful and the photos came out unbelievable. People still compliment us 4 months later on how great it was!\rA special thanks to Kristen the event specialist for all of her help. She really went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! I highly recommend the Providence G

Lauren Chiarillo (Manager) I have been with the Providence G for more than a year now and have grown to love everything about it! I have worked in the wedding industry for 11 years and have found a home with the staff here along with the clients that I have worked with day in and day out. I am dedicated and determined to make my clients visions a reality and can help with finding vendors and providing resourses to make planning my clients special day easy and fun! No matter the day I am just an email or phone call away and have a great team behind me to aid in making sure that all questions are answered!
