The Bank Street Annex is a historic wedding venue located in Easton, PA. This former bank, with its art deco inspired interior, exudes a feeling of sophistication from the moment you arrive. You and your guests will dance and dine while adding your own chapter to this venue’s dynamic story.
This building is the original site of The Easton National Bank whose construction was completed in 1929. In 1998, The Bank St Annex opened its doors to its first wedding and hasn’t looked back since. The family that owns this historic establishment takes pride in preserving its original architectural details. Teller windows, the bank’s vault, and original sitting rooms are intact and their presence indicate the building’s original purpose.
Intricate millwork which is especially impressive on the event room’s double height ceilings, creates a refined sense of grandeur. Wedding ceremonies take place in this room before a set of enormous two-story windows elegantly draped with white shears. This light and airy feature of the interior contrasts with the building’s stone facade which presents a strong, formidable appearance during the day. At night, festive uplighting shines out through the windows, signifying the celebration taking place inside. A small, romantic lane beside the building is illuminated by string lights and presents an opportunity for gorgeous photographs. Back inside, two large balconies overlook the dance floor on which guests will gather for a night full of entertainment and dancing.
The venue’s owners take an active role in every event, helping to plan your big day down to the very last detail. A variety of wedding packages are offered by The Bank St Annex, and are designed to suit a range of budgets. Each option includes food and beverage selections by their on-site chefs and bartenders. The venue’s professional kitchen can prepare a delicious three-to-five-course dinner for your event. Table linens and chair covers are also included in your overall package. This location can hold up to 200 guests in over 10,000 square feet of space. Wedding parties may avail of the location’s get-ready room for final preparations. In order to ensure that your perfect day is realized, a list of reliable and experienced vendors is available upon request.

She shared she was worried about our wedding being short staffed due to the current climate, and I honestly could not tell you if they were or not. Food service was fast, and the bar never had a line - they were moving! Food was delicious, but the venue speaks for itself. It gives 1920s vibes through and through. We agreed walking out the door after the tour and meeting with Kerry that we needed to look no further, Bank St was the place for us. From contact to execution of our day, everything was perfect! The Annex itself is so much our style. Even though we initially agreed not to have a \"themed\" wedding, we could not resist going with a 20's theme. It was incredible. We had our ceremony on the balcony, happy hour for the guests on the whole second story and the reception on the main floor. The staff at the Annex were amazing! They are courteous, professional and attentive. The food, oh the food, was the absolute best food we, and our guests have ever had at a wedding reception hands down! Liz was extremely helpful throughout the process - especially important since we were planning our winter wedding from out-of-town - to make sure everything was to our liking. Noelle Catino(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-03-2018 Bank Street Annex is a very affordable, unique venue in the Lehigh Valley. My guests and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. However, I had a horrible experience working with the staff, very much mirroring another review on this site. I started working with Amanda, who seemed nice enough at the start, but when she double booked the venue the day of my tasting and forgot to tell me, I was FURIOUS. We had to reschedule our tasting and I was still charged $20 per family member, despite the inconvenience of rescheduling based on six different people's schedules. That should have been my first sign to find a different venue, but I pushed through. When I didn't receive any communication from Bank Street for months, I was worried and emailed them, only to receive a response from Leila, because Amanda was gone. Leila lasted all of 2 weeks, because the tornado known as Liz began working there soon enough. Liz was aggressive to say the least. She argued with me when I explained how I wanted to groomsmen to enter, and destroyed the timing I set for my bridesmaids to enter. She was even worse on the day of my wedding, as she argued with my DJ very publicly, and insisted my timing of the course delivery to guests was wrong. She was beyond rude and made my bridal party feel uncomfortable. The worst part was that she said that she and her staff would take care of cleaning everything up, yet she LEFT before the event was over - dressed in Irish regalia no less so she could go drinking with her friends. There were no parking vouchers for my guests, and no drink vouchers for Pearly Baker's left either. As a result of her absence, not only was a $50 tip envelope stolen from under my mother's wallet from staff left unmanaged, but I (the bride) stayed for an hour helping my parents clean up and pack up the car, missing most of the after party. It was a miserable experience and in hindsight I wish I picked a different venue. Reviewed on 24-12-2018

Every time we went to Bank St Annex throughout the planning process, it confirmed that we made the best decision of having our wedding reception here. The venue itself is stunning and unique with such a vintage touch that doesn't compare to other venues. With the balcony and lighting, you really don't need to even add much decor; it is elegant and romantic on its own. However, Liz is beyond accommodating with adding your own personal style and decor, you get the best of both worlds to make the venue fit to whatever your vision for your wedding is!One of the BEST things about Bank Street is the FOOD....absolutely delicious!! When we went for our tasting, we were so impressed by the quality and QUANTITY of the portions, but understood that for the wedding, they must have to be smaller. NOT AT ALL! The portions are unbelievable!! We wanted to make sure our guests received a meal where they were satisfied and pleased with, and Bank St went above and beyond our guests' expectations. Guests are still saying that the food was by far one, if not THE, best at any wedding they have been to. Plus the wait staff was amazing! They were professional, personal, and handled any guests' needs in a timely manner. I have a gluten intolerance. Liz and the chef made sure that my meal for my tasting and reception were gluten free and that I had options for cocktail hour. Liz even went out of her way to get me gluten free crackers so I could enjoy the dips for my cocktail hour!Whatever size or style wedding you have in mind for your dream wedding, Bank St. Annex will be perfect as a venue for you. Liz has such a creative eye for wedding decor, and will bend over backwards to help make your wedding visions come true. From the moment we stepped in to the building before even booking it, we were blown away by the level of service from the staff. Mikey, the head chef, was our first encounter at the Annex - and he is AMAZING! He is always eager to help even when it does not involve the kitchen. Liz was our events coordinator, who literally was better than David Tutera. She tirelessly worked with us right up to the night before the wedding making sure that every single detail was exactly as we wanted, even for the rehearsal dinner which was hosted at a neighboring establishment. Throwing a big gay wedding and impressing our Italian & Hispanic families was not easy - but Liz and the Annex made sure that everything was just right and never said \"No\" to ANY of our requests, most of which were over-the-top. Our day would not have been possible if it wasn't for Liz - she was truly a God-send. She executed every single idea that we had perfectly. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars! If you are thinking of this place, go and see Liz - you will be sold! The food was outrageous, the drinks were non-stop (and top-shelf) and the service is top notch - it far exceeds the service of competing venues that are far more expensive. Of course with Help from Other vendors such as Omnivent, our wedding day came together just beautifully. The beautiful venue speaks for itself but the best part in my opinion is the staff. This is the 10th wedding I'v had the pleasure of helping plan but my first time at Bank St. Iv dealt with planners and venues that range from outdoor farm weddings to $100k wedding events and I have to say Liz and her team are some of the best iv gotten to work with. As soon as I met Liz I knew I was going to be happy with the process. She was organized and on top of everything we needed done. I hate working with a planner who tells me they can't or don't do something at their venue, Liz never once hesitated when we wanted something changed or done special. I made the flower arrangements the night before, Liz assured me that if I dropped them off in the morning shed have them all assembled and properly placed for the ceremony and then for the change out for the reception, I never trust anyone so when i popped into the room during the change out just to make sure they were all right I was happy to find she had it all exactly how i had asked. Her team was absolutely perfect on the day of the wedding. I never heard a single complaint from any of our guests. (that says a lot when you're dealing with a room full of opinionated gay men) The staff were polite and pleasant and quick to help, when the wedding party asked for some extra drinks or food for cocktail hour the staff quickly arrived with more than we asked for. I can honestly say it was one of the best weddings Iv been to and my friends had one of the best days of their lives. Id strongly encourage any couple to consider having their special day here. Chris F.(guest)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-09-2018 I attended a wedding at Bank Street Annex on 9/8/18. The overall atmosphere of the venue was elegant with a historic feel. The venue is multiple levels and it is not wheelchair/handicapped accessible, and there are no elevators. My mother in law has difficulty walking and had to make her way up the stairs to the second floor to be able to enjoy the cocktail hour. By the way. The wedding coordinator, Liz, closed the bar for cocktail hour 10 minutes early...door slammed multiple times as the last guests exited as to not let anyone else in. The wait staff was pleasant, however, the wedding coordinator for the evening, Liz, was extremely rude and unprofessional. We had several encounters with her and all were unpleasant. I had sent back my beef because it was raw, almost like jelly and bloody. She came over to the table with a loud tone and asked what temperature I had requested. Well, i was never given the opportunity to request a temperature and all beef meals are done at medium rare. I told her to please bring me a meal that was well done, and she was able to exchange it right away. At the end of the night after the DJ played the last song, Liz stood in the center of the dance floor and ordered everyone to exit the venie immediately. She stated, \" you cannot stay here, we all want to go home!\" And offered free drink vouchers for a bar across the street. She yelled several times thereafter for everyone to get out. Mind you, we wer still trying to pack up decorations, etc. There is a right way of doing things and she was just overall unprofessional and does not.deserve the honor of taking care of a bride/groom and their family and friends on their special day. Liz turned what was a beautiful and joyous occasion into a frustrating and angry experience by the end of the evening. Nicole M(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-05-2018 I will start by saying the venue itself is wonderful and the servers and bartenders were so kind to all my guests and are really hard workers who always had smiles on their faces. My guests can't say enough how impressed they were with the venue, service, and food. And my husband and I agree with all the above, we were truly impressed with everyone except our day of wedding coordinator. When my husband and I booked this venue for our wedding Amanda was our wedding coordinator and she was WONDERFUL! However, Amanda left and we had another coordinator and she was very nice as well and then we ended with Liz. From the beginning I was not impressed, she complained about other brides to me and kept trying to get me to spend extra money by telling me there wouldn't be enough time with a 5 course meal to have three hours of dancing. Thankfully my DJ was wonderful and assured me we would be fine without purchasing an extra hour, sadly by this time Liz already convinced us to take away our appetizer and serve an extra butlered hors d'oeuvre instead. When we met the week before we thoroughly went over all decorations and the plan which included a receiving line and the sweetheart table being moved off of the dance floor. Liz assured me she set up everything herself so if I didn't have it all written down she would remember it and make sure it was all set. When I walked in 5 minutes before the reception was to start Liz was no where to be found and the things I had not written down were not done because Liz never told any one. When Liz did finally arrived she ruined my receiving line by sending guests up the wrong staircase because \"it was getting to crowded\" She then pulled me away from my receiving line and lectured me for my party being upstairs on the 3rd floor. She was beyond rude to my bridal party as well. If I could go on I would, she ruined photos, and so much more. Use the Bank Street Annex because it is spectacular, but only after they replace Liz. There are three distinct areas that are beautiful. First-the ceremony/reception area that has vaulted ceilings with incredibly large windows that create a large venue feel. Nothing feels more special than turning the corner of the steps and looking down on your guests and groom awaiting your arrival. Second-the cocktail hour is located on the second floor. This charming Art Deco inspired area has original woodwork from the bank. Small rooms with interesting architecture present a talking piece that won't soon be forgotten. Third and finally, you will find 3 rooms on the top floor that include separate spaces for bride and groom, and a combined bridal party suite. The was an area that I was excited to put to use, it was a comfortable, yet visually appealing room to get ready in. \r\rWe were extremely happy with the food/beverage options that were presented to us. It is what is to be hoped for but not always experienced: the Bank St. Annex was open to accommodating all of our personal requests. We wanted to serve some premium beer options (the groom of course) and Kerry personally chose our selection. We have gone on record amongst our friends as having the best beer selection at a wedding to date.\r\rOur wedding day was perfect, Kerry was there to cajole our wedding party and respective families to the correct places and it couldn't have been better. It truly was a lovely find (again by the groom) that I hope more people take advantage of! Reviewed on 08-08-2013

Michelle (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-03-2013 I wish I had a nickel for every time someone told me they couldn't believe how beautiful the Bank St. Annex was and that they loved it! We could have paid for our honeymoon. It is a fantastic, beautiful, old building with so much charm and character. The price is just right and they don't try to nickel and dime you out of everything. You pay one set price and it includes everything you need. Kerry is incredibly professional and will keep everything running smoothly. The food is unbelievably delicious. I had a guest tell me that no one at their table talked during dinner, they just sat and savored every bite! I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere better than Bank St. There are great places for photos all over and outside of the annex, that was really important to me. Everything was perfect!! We are still getting commpliments about it! The coordinator Kerry Harrington was friendly, professional and helped with alot of the details that I wanted with grace and ease. She is someone you feel at ease with the moment you meet her because of her confidence in knowing her job so very well.
