The Barn at Boyden Farm is a rustic wedding venue in Cambridge, VT. This hidden gem lies on 54 acres of lush farmland, giving couples a secluded, tranquil place to enjoy their wedding day. With picturesque views, an elegant aesthetic, and multiple in-house services, this venue is sure to give your romantic moments a visually rich backdrop. The Barn at Boyden Farm has been family-owned and -operated since 1914, growing from a predominantly dairy farm to featuring beef cattle, field crops, maple production, wine production, and other ventures. Since 2008, these lush, versatile grounds also serve as a rustic, historically rich wedding venue. One of their main settings is the hayloft barn, which will give your indoor reception a welcoming, country-style aesthetic. Exposed wooden beams and vintage chandeliers will hang from the vaulted ceiling as your guests dine and dance on the hardwood floors. With its air conditioning and heating systems, the barn makes for a picturesque venue in any season. Also available is a spacious patio, post-and-beam pavilion, and lower farm grounds for you to host outdoor celebrations. Our wedding at The Barn at Boyden Farm in September 2023 was more perfect than we could have ever imagined! Since our wedding, multiple guests have reached out to us to say how much they loved our venue. The outside space is gorgeous with Mountain views, pretty sunsets, and plenty of space for lawn games. The inside of the barn is both beautiful and very well laid out; it's so nice on its own that it requires minimal decorations. Lauri and her staff were wonderful. They made sure that things ran smoothly the weekend of the wedding (we did not hire a wedding planner/coordinator and it was completely fine) and were really nice to work with. It was also awesome to have the whole venue to ourselves Friday - Sunday. It meant that we could set everything up on Friday and then were not rushing around the day of the wedding.

We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day. The Barn at Boyden Farm is absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Lauri and her entire team are incredible and so easy to work with. They had the perfect blend of being available and resourceful, all while giving us the space to make our own vision come to life. The barn is just stunning. It’s rustic, it’s clean, it was the best canvas to put our own touch on. We ended up with the most perfect weather in mid-September, but Lauri was ready and willing to help us pivot with storms looming. We were most drawn to this venue because it didn’t feel like they “churn and burn” weddings every day of the weekend. We loved being able to spend all day Friday setting up, have the big event on Saturday, and Sunday morning hosted a brunch. It was truly ours for three days. Thank you to Lauri, her team, and family for going just above and beyond from day one.

We can't say enough good things about Lauri and her team. From the beginning, Lauri was extremely helpful throughout our planning process and we could tell she genuinely cared. She is the perfect combination of laid back and serious about her work and her clients experience. The communication was excellent and we never felt like we were being overlooked. It seemed like every single time we had a question for Lauri, she had an answer that exceeded our expectations.The venue itself is beautiful beyond words - so many of our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they had been to. We loved the charm and layout of the barn, and the view of the mountaints was incredible. We loved having the barn for the whole weekend. We were able to take our time decorating on Friday, which was a huge bonus and was so fun! On Sunday, we were able to slowly pick up while our guests stopped by for coffee and pastries.We had a wonderful wedding weekend and we couldn't have done it without Lauri and the whole team at The Barn at Boyden Farm.

Oh my goodness-what can we say?!? Lauri, Lucy and the team are INCREDIBLE. Lauri was such a wonderful guide through the entire process (and I mean a LONG process-we had to postpone due to COVID so we worked with her for about a year and a half!) She was always available to answer any questions, welcome us to the property for site visits and literally everything else we needed-she was right there! She made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with, even though she does weddings nearly every weekend (book now!!)She and her team are there for your entire event, Friday rehearsal, Saturday wedding, and Sunday for any brunch you might do. Lucy walked us through everything Friday evening and on Saturday was with myself and my bridal party as we got ready. She steamed dresses, did some quick alterations for my mother's dress (day of!!) and was just there guiding us and helping us stay calm in our anticipation. Now, the venue itself-just stunning. It is a beautiful barn set back from the road in a valley with mountains surrounding it (fun fact-it is actually still an operating farm!) You couldn't ask for a better setting for your rustic barn wedding dreams. The inside of the barn is incredible. Think big, rustic chandeliers and a huge open dance floor and raised seating-and a built in bar! Truly, this is a magical place. Thank you endlessly to Lauri and her team for sharing this space with us for our special day-it was unforgettable.

Boyden Barn is a magical venue. In the year leading up to the venue, they are tremendously helpful, kind, and full of knowledge to make your day special and seamless. Any questions that were asked by any of the family along the way were answered without any delay. Then, the weekend of the wedding Lauri was present at any time we had questions or needed assistance. Overall, not only is the location beautiful, the space is so clean, prepared for you, help is always available, and you are in very, very good hands. Boyden made our day everything we could have imagined and more!

Honestly the most incredible, special place, would recommend it to anyone, over and over again! Wow! The Barn at Boyden Farm was honestly the greatest, most personal, friendly, wonderful place we could have picked to share one of the most special moments of our lives. Lauri and her team were incredible, responsive, and completely ready to help make our day exactly what we wanted. The Barn and Cambridge, VT were breathtaking and every single one of our guests couldn't stop raving about the area, our wedding and Lauri. Seriously if you are looking for a place to get married that is reasonably priced, with the flexibility for you to be super hands on, or if you want to sit back and let the vendors do it all, this is the place for you. GORGEOUS inside and out. Tons for you and your guests to do before/after the wedding (hiking, kayaking, zip lining, and everything else outdoorsy/vermont). Thank you Lauri for making everything about our weekend in VT perfect.

We found Boyden online and were planning our Vermont wedding from our home in Colorado. When we finally got a chance to view the barn in person We were continously impressed with its uniqueness and absolute beauty. The pictures are amazing but being there in person gives you an immediate incredible feeling of warmth and beauty. Boyden was the most beautiful barn inside and out. The backdrop of the outdoor pavilion gave us a breathtaking view of the mountains!! . Boyden gave us and ALL our guests such a cozy, inviting, and at home feeling with all its charm. Our wedding day had perfect fall foliage but it was cold so we got to offer hot cider, and Boyden mulled wine and blankets by the firepit so that we could all still enjoy being outdoors. The barn and it’s surrounding beauty of the cornfields and vineyard speak for it self but the real incredible experience was Lauri and her team. Lauri was extremely helpful, kind, thoughtful and created a worry free experience for me throughout the entire planning process. Every single one of my other vendors were thrilled to be working with her which helped me build my dream team for our big day. Lauri went SO above and beyond to make things easier for me and my husband, she did everything in her power to make our day as special as it could be. I cannot express my gratitude enough for everything her and her team did for us. Also, one of the most amazing parts is that Lauri let’s you have the barn for the full weekend of your wedding! This meant we got to have fun setting up all our decor the day before and could take our time getting back to pick things up the day after. This made another peice of the planning process stress free. If you are looking for a wedding venue it really doesn’t get much better then Boyden. Thank you so much to Lauri and her team it would not have been the same without you! We will most definitely be back to Boyden to visit!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Lauri and The Barn at Boyden Farm. Not only is it a gorgeous venue (we’re still getting compliments), but to have someone like Lauri as a resource throughout the planning process was priceless. We were planning our wedding from across the country and couldn’t be more grateful to her - she was so helpful with every question we had, and went above and beyond with providing resources and tips for planning our weekend. She and her staff made the entire day flow so smoothly, we were able to relax and celebrate and simply enjoy the day.As for the venue itself…wow. The barn is stunning, and has all the amenities you could wish for in a venue. Gorgeous lighting, a great bar space, nice bathrooms, farmhouse tables and chairs…I could go on and on. The space has a natural beauty all its own, and you really don’t need to do much to bring it to life. And the view from outside! Ah, we want to relive it again and again.I give Lauri and her team at Boyden the highest of recommendations, and will continue to sing their praises for years to come.

When we met Lauri at our first visit to the barn we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The barn, scenery and the property are stunning and are everything that we love about Vermont. The inside of the Barn is beautiful on its own but can be decorated to reflect any style. The barn has the pavilion outside for the ceremony and a patio for an outside cocktail hour so guests can enjoy everything that Vermont has to offer. The views are absolutely stunning! Lauri, Brian and Elisha went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They coordinated vendors and our timeline so we could enjoy our day. They are the reason our day went so smoothly. When we met Lauri at our first visit to the barn we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The barn, scenery and the property are stunning and are everything that we love about Vermont. The inside of the Barn is beautiful on its own but can be decorated to reflect any style. She helped us with everything, and as we were planning our wedding from abroad, her quick responses and consistent communication were so appreciated and needed! We had 145 guests and they fit perfectly into the barn. The barn was spotless when we arrived and Lauri ensured we had everything we needed to begin setting up for our wedding. Lauri was on sight for our rehearsal and the wedding day, to keep everything in order. The barn is set in the most beautiful grounds, come rain or shine. We would recommend it to everyone!

Our wedding at Boyden was absolutely the wedding of my dreams. The rustic atmosphere, scenic views, and professional/friendly staff were a winning combination that created a magical day. Even in the rain, we were able to have a comfortable outdoor ceremony under the pavilion. My favorite part of the venue is how it accommodates every type of wedding guest. The dance floor is large and separate enough from the guest seating you don't feel uncomfortable dancing while others are still sitting at their seat. The outdoor space is perfect for people who would rather play lawn games than hit the dance floor. Lauri is the best coordinator; she is knowledgeable, flexible, and comforting. Boyden is an absolutely beautiful venue and the staff creates a stress free wedding day

Our wedding at Boyden was absolutely the wedding of my dreams. The rustic atmosphere, scenic views, and professional/friendly staff were a winning combination that created a magical day. The outdoor space is perfect for people who would rather play lawn games than hit the dance floor. Lauri is the best coordinator; she is knowledgeable, flexible, and comforting. Boyden is an absolutely beautiful venue and the staff creates a stress free wedding day

Boyden was perfect! We had our wedding ceremony outside in the pavilion with Mansfield in the backdrop and the photos couldn't have come out better. There was plenty of room to mingle and play games during cocktail hour and the barn itself is gorgeous. Our guests are still complementing our venue choice. In addition to the facility, Lauri Boyden was absolutely amazing. She made sure all the vendors were where they needed to be, on time, following my specific instructions and answered all their questions. While running around organizing everyone, she still found time to reassure me that everything was going perfect. Her calm and collective attitude put my mind at easy and allowed me to relax and enjoy the day. We definitely could not have pulled it off without her. From decorating, to ceremony tips, to cleanup, Lauri was right there to help in anyway she could. We highly recommend Boyden Farms for anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue. Our day was perfect and we couldn't be happier with out choice. Thank you Boyden!

The Barn at Boyden Farm is the perfect place to have a Vermont wedding. The scenery is gorgeous and the barn is perfectly set up to host a wedding. I couldn't have been happier with our decision to get married at Boyden Farm. I loved that the ceremony and reception could be in the same area! From the shelter area to the patio and all around the grounds, there were so many beautiful places for guests to explore and enjoy. Not to mention the breathtaking backdrop for pictures! Such an amazing, gorgeous space - I would recommend it to everyone!

I cannot express how AMAZING our wedding was having it The Barn at Boyden Farm, but I will do my best! Lauri was so easy to work with and so helpful throughout our whole planning process. The setting was gorgeous and we got so many compliments on the venue. I absolutely loved how everything looked set up and ready for our guests to arrive. We didn’t do anything more than a few strings of lights and the table settings for decorations. The barn doesn’t need it; it is beautiful as is. Fortunately the rain held out for us, but had we needed to move inside for the ceremony, it would have been beautiful anyway! I highly, HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here. It’s hard to find such a great owner to work with AND a perfect setting in one! Visit and you’ll know what I mean! Thank you Lauri!
