In Pelican Rapids, MN, The Barn at Dunvilla is a gorgeous historic wedding venue open year-round with large areas on the main floor, the loft, outdoor patio, and deck. The team at Dunvilla looks forward to meeting you and your loved ones. With seating in the loft accommodating 280, the indoor space offers everything you need for all the day's events, while the outdoor offers a lawn for ceremonies, receptions, and relaxation. The Barn includes a Bridal Retreat for getting ready for your day and The Boathouse for the groom and his friends. Sitting on six spacious acres, The Barn at Dunvilla includes ample space for wedding celebrations on the lawn and inside The Barn. The property provides for lawn games, throwing a ball, hanging out on the swing, or just walking around to enjoy the weather and the sights. The Barn at Dunvilla offers a complete package that allows you to relax more in the planning. For food and cakes, they have an open vendor policy, so you and your partner may choose the food and vendor of from several possibilities. The bar service at Dunvilla is provided by Lakeside Tavern. They will contract with you to offer the bar setup of your choice. All this is to help you plan the wedding day of your dreams and then enjoy it to its fullest!

The dunvilla barn is a beautiful location. Beautiful both inside the barn and out. The staff is helpful and made sure our event went off with out any glitches. It was beatiful even though it rain .

would not recommend this place to anyone!!! owners are RUDE, and they decided to ruin my sons wedding!! they targeted people they didnt care for! i went outside several times with my 40 oz stanley cup and smoked and came back in with the same cup!! Not once was i told i could not do that!! or checked to see if i had alcohol in my cup!! one of my sons friends went outside with his redbull that was bought at their bar set up, stood in view of everyone and smoked a cigarette, then came back in with the same redbull and they shut the bar down because he was outside and came back in with a can he bought there!! red bull is NOT alcohol!!!there was handicapped people at the wedding and the place absolutely sucks for that!! when i asked if there was an elevator i was told there was a lift chair, but the lady working at the time wasnt sure how to run it!!the floor in the upstairs part of the barn is HORRIBLE!! my daughters chair leg went through a hole in the floor! and there was many spongy boards in the floor!! the chairs that were set up were cheap uncomfortable walmart chairs that felt like they were going to buckle even under the weight of my tiny 6 year old granddaughter!in order to get food you had to go downstairs, and then try to maneuver a plate, fork, knife, napkin, cup and whatever else up a flight of stairs to sit down to eat! not good when there is kids!!!THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY Was the worst venue i have EVER experienced in my life!!!! AND THE MANAGEMENT ARE SOME OF THE WORST PEOPLE IVE EVER MET!!!!Save yourself A TON of money and book some where else!! this place is highly highly overpriced!!!

We rented this place for our wedding. All started well but ended very unprofessional. We paid alot of money for this place to not be able to start alcohol until after the ceremony. We drank out of our vehicles for sure outside of the venue until we were able to purchase at the bar. After bar was open not one person to my knowledge was getting alcohol from anywhere from the bar. The management tried kicking me out the first day for having my own cup with water in it that they \"thought\" could be alcohol. Second night the very poor management went through our personal areas for the grooms and saw we had empty beer cans. And the gut that kept going throughthe owner got in my face and tried fighting me our stuff was a mouthy idiot. The owner got in my face and tried intimidating me to fight him cause he didnt like my thoughts of his shitty staff. Anyone thinking of getting married do not spend the money here. Go anywhere else as long as these people do not own it. These people completely wrecked our wedding and still charged us full price for a cery out dated venue.

This venue was absolutely stunning! There is so much decor available to use and create your perfect day! Now not only is this place beautiful, the staff are so wonderful and kind! They are extremely helpful and helped out in every way possible! The day was so wonderful and smooth!

If you are looking for a wedding or event venue we would recommend The Barn at Dunvilla in a heart beat! Linda and Gwen were absolute joys to work with!! Linda was very responsive in her communication and put up with all our questions. The venue was gorgeous and definitely made for a fairy tale day!! The decorations they have available to use are super cute and they have so much to offer! The outdoor space provided a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and for pictures! The Barn was a great space for happy hour, supper, and for people to dance the night away! Thank you so much for helping make our special day so amazing!!

Linda and Jon were phenomenal to work with and really went out of their way to make our weekend great - from setting up, the day of, and after the wedding. The staff and the venue were amazing - the whole day was stress free thanks to the support of everyone! Anything I needed, Gwen was around to help make the space all that I dreamed it would be. Having a 2nd barn full of decorations and items to use was SO AMAZING and that was what sold the space for us. Such a great day. Such a great space. Amazing staff.
