Our custom timber frame barn is grand in both beauty and stature, designed and built with events in mind. The all-natural wood interior is highlighted by beautiful wrought iron chandeliers and our signature bird cage chandelier illuminates the dancing area creating an inviting and romantic setting for your reception. Several large barn doors provide an open-air experience that allows for your guests to take in the surrounding Adirondack Mountain views while enjoying your reception. The interior layout lends itself to many seating options which all allow for an organized flow of events on your wedding day. The barn is appointed with an entry area complete with customizable photo wall, designated bar area, large dining and dancing area. Behind the barn is a caterer’s prep area with private entrance to the barn which offers ease and convenience for your vendors.

If you’re looking for and ADK fairytale wedding in the mountains then this. Is. Your. Place! We knew we wanted a barn venue and from the moment we found The Barn with its jaw dropping backdrop, it truly stands out amongst the rest. We cannot recommend and thank Sarah, Tim and the staff at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley enough. Sarah was always responsive and helpful to anything we ever needed to make our vision come to life. Dave maintains incredibly beautiful landscape/grounds and he was ALWAYS so kind to us. The getting ready barn is something out of a dream-bright, airy, and timeless- it was the perfect space to get ready with my girls. The newly built pavilion elevated our ceremony space and the reception barn is so stunning in itself without the decorations we brought in. The ADKs have our hearts and The Barn gave us the opportunity to share the ADKs with our closest friends and families to celebrate our love. We received so many wonderful compliments from our guests. There truly were not enough hours in the day to soak in the beauty of the venue. Thank you for everything!

If you’re looking for and ADK fairytale wedding in the mountains then this. Is. Your. Place! As soon as I walked into The Barn I knew I wanted to book it for our wedding venue, and it ended up being the absolutely perfect. The barn itself is obviously stunning, 2 smaller features that I really enjoyed are the balcony and built in bar. Other great features are the arbor options, heating lamps, and bonfire pit. I also love the groom's barn. We had our ceremony in the grass with the mountains in the background, cocktail hour on the patio, and our reception in the barn with all the doors open all night - it was the perfect flow. Not only do I highly recommend The Barn, but Sarah is fantastic to work with. She is calm, friendly, organized - very has her shit together, and provides stability that brides need. Working with her was a breeze and she was so accommodating during our COVID postponement. Also bonus - during that year postponement she built the storage barn which was a huge help! Huge huge bonus - it is dog friendly. Our dog Duke loved it there - he was part of our rehearsal and ceremony. I absolutely love The Barn and can't recommend it enough!

Got married here two weeks ago and the venue is absolutely gorgeous! The Barn itself is stunning - It's got much higher ceilings than any of the other barn venues I looked at and feels so romantic. The view of the Adirondacks adds to the wow factor. They just built a new ceremony pavilion next to the barn, which we had our ceremony at, and this gave some relief to our guests on a hot day. The getting ready barns (guy & girl) were perfect and made for some great photos. My hair/makeup artist also really appreciated the set-up and lighting. They have a lot of decor options free for you to use (signs, table number stands, arbors). I was worried about the portable restrooms, but they were honestly really nice (spacious, looked more like a real bathroom, smelled nice). The venue is also right next to the Ticonderoga golf course, which provided a great space for our rehearsal dinner as well as a morning of activity for the groom & his guys. The Lord Howe staff, especially the owner, Sarah, were all so kind and helpful. I had a perfect day & would highly recommend Lord Howe if you're considering it for your wedding.

We are not from the area but we had searched for \"barn\" venues in New York. This place was on our list to check out, and to think we were going to skip it would have been the worst decision. We went to visit and WOW. We saw it in Sept 2020, when the wedding season was on a lull due to covid restrictions and it hadn't had a wedding in some time. But even still my husband turned and said, \"yup, this is where we are going to get married.\" For him to say that, says a lot. We booked one of Sarahs last openings for Sept 2021. This venue is beautiful on its own, and does not need much decorating if you don't want. The scenery is breath taking. The Bridal and Groom Suite at the bottom of the venue property is jaw dropping. So many people asked how we found this place and complimented how amazing it was. If you are looking for a breath taking venue, this is it. You will love every minute of you wedding here.

The Barn at Lord Howe Valley was exactly what we were looking for in a venue surrounded by nature. Settled into the Adirondack valley with a view of the mountains in all directions, we fell in love with the setting of the Barn. The Barn itself was the blank slate that we were looking for and gave us the opportunity to truly create our own vision in an elegantly rustic venue. The short drive to Lake George was certainly a big appeal for our choice of venue as well. While this destination is located on the north end of the lake, it was important to ensure accommodations were available for our guests who wanted to stay local. As we wanted a venue that allowed for an outdoor ceremony, it also gave us peace of mind that there were options for an indoor ceremony if necessary for weather. Sarah was professional and kind each time we met with her, and her staff worked well with our vendors to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of. Thank you, Sarah, for creating this beautiful barn venue and for sharing it with couples that want to celebrate their marriage in a breath-taking location!

We knew from the moment we pulled into the long driveway that this was our venue. It is stunning. The barn is large, while still feeling intimate. We had about 110 guest and it didn't feel crowded at all. The tables/chairs/decor at the Barn worked perfectly with our aesthetic. We had our ceremony outside and it was gorgeous, with the fall foliage in the background. It couldn't have been more perfect. Sarah at the Barn was incredible to work with, she was on top of everything and helped coordinate everything leading up to the day and on the day of. She made our day perfect. I can't recommend the Barn at Lord Howe Valley enough. Everyone was so impressed by the barn, as were we.

The most amazing venue and the most incredible team! Our wedding went so smoothly. The coordinator worked so well with all our vendors, and the venue itself was gorgeous even before we decorated it. I'd recommend this venue to everyone!

In summary - They were great! In the beginning I was nervous because the contract seems intimidating. You can't do much yourself so you have to be ready to pay for everything (Food & drinks & alcohol all has to be through a vendor and insured). That being said - you don't feel shorted! They took care of so many things that I didn't expect (lighting centerpiece candles, picking up plates after buffet style dinner, etc). They helped cue people out during the ceremony (I didn't have a day of coordinator or wedding planner). They helped pick up centerpieces and decor so that at the end of the night it was easy for our families pack up and go.The barn is beautiful, I can't tell you how many compliments we got. Sarah and the staff are there for you 100% and I would not have changed anything. I would absolutely recommend.
