We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The space was perfect for our guest count and worked well with our vision for the day. The weather was perfect thankfully because we had an outside ceremony on the island but even if it wasn’t, their rain plans are just as beautiful. I would have been okay with it if it had rained! The bridal suite was amazing. So cute and very accommodating. The grooms quarters was perfect for my guy and his guys! They had so much fun. And the PROP ROOM!! Let me tell you it’s worth it! It’s just a little bit extra but you can use anything and everything in that room. We used tables and games and signage and furniture and lanterns and candles and votives and vases and table decor. You name it, they have it up there. It was amazing. I would highly recommend this venue!!

There are many words I can say about this place. We held our Employee Holiday party here at The Barn. It was amazing and Kate is a joy to work with. She went above and beyond to help make our event a success! Our employees gave rave review and said this venue was a keeper!! Thanks Kate!

We got married at the Barn at Sycamore Farms September 8, 2023. From the booking to the actual wedding day this venue was always accommdating. Our coordinator was easily reachable and answered all questions. Their decor closet had plenty for us to use that made our day so special. The venue itself is beautiful with water, fountains, outdoor veranda, huge inside for reception, a separate place for the catering crew to set up and the Bridal and groom suites were very comfortable. I can go on and on about how much we loved this venue! Guests continue to reach out and comment on how beautiful the venue was!

From the beautiful bridal suite, to the show stopping chandelier to the perfect grounds. We could not wait to share our love & our story with our friends and family in the most perfect venue!We were secured our date for 2022. Life changed for us as we welcomed our son into the world. We went to Kate & Taylor to ask what our options would be to reschedule. They were beyond helpful & understanding. We were able to reschedule for 2023. Fast forward to our wedding day and it was beyond perfect. The girls are so nice, welcoming & are there to help make the day as seamless as possible. The walk from the barn to the island was the lovliest stroll this MOB has ever taken since my own wedding. It gave me time to gather my composure just as I crossed the bridge to take it all in. Breathe in the moment. The fountain, the sycamore tree, the veranda and the barn itself made it one special day. The bride's room was gorgeous with its crystal chandelier and spacious enough for getting everyone ready. Kate and her teammates assisted us from the start of the day to the end. She was always quick to answer out emails and phone calls. We highly recommend The Barn at Sycamore Farms. It was perfect for us!

We had our wedding at The Barn at Sycamore Farms on 3-17-2023. Taylor helped us throughout the entire process. From booking the tour of the barn up until the day of the wedding, she was always super attentive and available for any questions or concerns and was stepping in to help and answer questions throughout the day with our day of coordinator! We were able to add on extra time to get there earlier for the bridesmaids to get ready and decor set up. All of our guests complimented the venue from the outside island to the back veranda to the stunning inside of the barn. The bridal suite and groom suite were spacious and perfect for getting ready. Though we had an amazing experience with Taylor (and Kate was always available to help as well!), there are a few things I wish we could’ve changed. 1) the trash situation. Though we knew we had to take care of the trash ourselves at the end of the night, I do wish that the barn had their own clean up staff, even if there is a fee to add it on. Or maybe if they had a “preferred” clean up crew vendor. It was not ideal to have guests stay behind to clean up all of the trash afterwards. 2) I do also wish that their preferred vendor list for catering was a bit bigger. There were only maybe 5 or so caterers to choose from that were pretty pricy for our budget, but we went with another caterer that was amazing that had experience at the barn. I totally understand having preferred vendors to work with, but I just wish there were more options.Overall, our experience was great and I am so thankful for all of Taylor’s help and recommendations throughout my wedding planning! She made a huge impact on our day.

Hands down the best venue EVER in middle Tennessee! We absolutely LOVED our wedding at Sycamore Farms. It's in the perfect location just 15 minutes east of Franklin and 45 minutes outside of Nashville. We loved the versatility of the venue, and being able to have multiple ceremony location options depending on the weather. Taylor Myers was so incredible to work with and responded to all of my calls, texts, and emails promptly throughout the planning process. Although it is on the pricier side, you will get every penny's worth with this place. It's beautiful, there are dedicated spaces for the bride & groom, the grounds are gorgeous, and the reception space itself is just perfect. It is so well run and organized, which really reduced my stress during planning. I could not recommend this place enough for your wedding or next event!

From the moment we saw that 9 foot custom chandelier, we were sold! The Barn at Sycamore Farms was the DREAM venue for our reception. It is so well-maintained, and even though there have been countless events held there since it opened, it still looks (and smells!) brand new. We had the joy of working with Kate, and she was amazing! She was always so quick to get back to us on calls and emails. Even when she was out on maternity leave, the other staff members were very attentive too, so I know that's their standard practice. With each correspondence we had with them, we never felt like \"just another wedding\". They were just as excited about our special day as we were. The prop room that you can rent out was so helpful too! Not only is it a cheaper way to decorate the space, but it's also very convenient to not have to bring in all your own decor and worry about hauling it out at the end of the night. Our guests loved the space, and it was a fun way for the out of towners to see a part of Tennessee that isn't so busy and congested. The whole venue has so many beautiful options for photos too. It feels large, but when you are inside with all your guests, it feels intimate and homey. It truly is the perfect space!

The Barn at Sycamore Farms is a beautiful Venue. Taylor Myers was knowledgable, attentive and wonderful to work with. The day went very smoothly even with weather issues. I would definitely recommend this venue because of the wonderful staff and personal. My only suggestion is for the barn to update/ fix a lot of the items in their prop room and to make sure the fans outside are working. We purchased the prop room thinking it would be easier to use the barns decor however the room is full of broken and mismatched items. It definitely needs an update for the price they charge. We were married 04 Sept 2022 ( a hot day in TN). When we requested the fans be turned on we were told \"they are fidgety and only work sometimes\". For the cost of the venue there should absolutely be working fans. Overall this was the most wonderful day because I got to marry the love of my life:)

We immediately fell in love with this venue and knew the second we began our tour that this was the one. The space worked so well with out guest count, allowing no one to feel crammed. After booking, we got married a little over a year later this past March, and could not have asked for a more perfect day, the weather was incredible and the perfect temperature. The Bridal suite was perfect when it came to 12 bridesmaids, Mother of both Bride and Groom, as well as 4 hair/make up artist. The Grooms quarter is the perfect design for guys. Sycamore also offers the option of the Prop Room, which is without a doubt one of the many things I fell in love with. Everything from vases, to couches/chairs, accent tables/dressers, signage, corn hole boards, etc. It helped pull my vision all together, at a much affordable rental cost, and anything & everything can be used regardless of your colors & theme. After touring a handful of venues, our tour experience and the manager there was what drew us in. Kate is incredible and honestly, my saving grace. She truly means it when she tells you to contact her with ANY questions. Every question will be answered, even if its reassuring your decor selection, complaints with wedding party, or being a helpful hand. On top of that, she is there on the big day and makes sure everything is exactly how it has been planned to be. We are so thankful to have had our big day at the most stunning venue and cannot have imagined working with anyone else besides Kate. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and without a doubt would recommend The Barn at Sycamore to anyone!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Kate and Taylor are so easy to work with and made everything from booking their venue to having our wedding so easy! The venue is literally BUILT to have a wedding and it was perfect. The outdoor space is beautiful and we even had a rainy day wedding! We love them and highly recommend this venue!

Brides look no further if you are looking for a beautiful barn venue! My daughter just had her wedding on June 13, 2021, at The Barn at Sycamore Farms. It was beautiful! The best part of this venue is Kate Grove the manager. Kate was excellent to work with! She was so helpful with everything from ideas using their wonderful prop room to executing a plan B for all the rain we had the morning of the wedding amongst many other things she helped us with . We truly couldn't have put together such a beautiful wedding without all of Kate's help. Especially with being out of state. The wedding guests are still texting us saying how beautiful everything was at the barn at sycamore farms. I would give this venue and staff 10 stars if I could. Cammie Lemming

We had a great experience at The Barn at Sycamore Farms. Bailey and Kate were always very timely on their email responses with answers to our questions. Any extra fees/costs are clearly given upon booking and in the contract. They accommodated when we asked to visit the venue a few times prior to our wedding date. The catering options they give are actually really great caterers. The venue is obviously beautiful and we loved that the covered verandas added areas for guests to mingle during the reception (and serve as a rain backup plan without having to worry about tents, etc.). The only difficulty we had was how the 12 hour time frame impacted our scheduling. This would likely be easier to plan if you plan your timeline a little earlier on in the wedding process. For a normal/large size bridal party for hair and makeup, you may need to have multiple stylists if you are planning on an late afternoon start. Our wedding time slot was 11am-11pm and wedding start time was at 4:30pm. We ended up needing to get ready offsite to be ready on time. This may have just been coordination on our end- but something to think about for future couples. They also offer extra time to be added to the day for a fee. We also appreciated Kate being on site the day of, she was super sweet that day!

Do not let the serene, beautiful setting of this venue blind you from the dark side of its management. It has an \"F\" score from the BBB for a reason. Read ALL reviews, there are plenty of negative reviews during this pandemic. The bottom line, they are more concerned about their revenue stream than helping their customer, a bride in dealing with the COVID pandemic while trying to keep her guests safe. If you book this venue, you need to know what you are dealing with, a contract is a contract. It is non-negotiable regardless of your situation. In our case, because we really wanted to host a wedding at this venue, while trying to negotiate new terms with them, they sold our new date to someone else without even checking with us. They assured us they would contact us first. What business does this? This is not a business geared toward customer service. None of us expected a global pandemic when we booked a year in 2019 before the original wedding date in 2020. Our advice is read the entire contract and understand what you are signing, maybe even get the assistance of a lawyer because they have a clause in the contract that the client has to pay their legal fees to uphold the contract. We, like many others, have learned the hard way, what it means to sign a contract that does not allow cancellations under ANY circumstances. There are many venues that have a cancellation clauses in their contract for cases like this and they will work with you. All of our vendors were sensitive to our plight and were willing to reschedule the date to a safer time, no increased fees and none of them were surprised this venue did this to us-that says a lot to us and should you too. Please learn from our costly mistake both financially and emotionally. It is no fun to pay for a wedding twice. Buyer Beware unless you too want to go through the aggravation of paying twice for a wedding and having to start your planning all over again.

If you’re looking for a place to get married, I promise it is not here. You do not want your money tied up in this place. My wedding is supposed to be today but given the current pandemic, my fiancé and I decided it was best to postpone our wedding - which was not an easy decision to make. Sycamore farms started off being helpful and told us we could move to any date we wanted - which we have in writing. Then they tried to make us pay for our original date PLUS 75% of a new date. When we declined, they offered us to have our wedding February 27 but because of covid half of our guest list would have to sit outside. When my fiancé noted it gets pretty cold in TN during February, she was met with a hostile response of, “that is springtime!” That’s not the first time we have gotten nastiness and rudeness from the staff of SF. So far we have gotten no refund from SF. My fiancé got a medical note from her physician at Vanderbilt stating she cannot be around large groups of people and therefore our wedding should be postponed until COVID is in the clear. We passed it along to SF with ZERO response. As of October 2020, the governor of TN issued a state of emergency declaring that there be NO big gatherings held and stating you cannot have more than 8 people together at one time. Again, we have passed this email along MULTIPLE times with NO response from anyone at SF. This is not a way to handle business, especially in the middle of a global pandemic. These people are making money off others when so many people are hurting. It is not only disappointing and disgusting but very disturbing to see

Getting married and thinking of having your wedding here? Save yourself the headache and heartache! I would 1000% NOT recommend this place. We had our dream wedding planned for 11/28/2020 and it was all going great until COVID hit. As a nurse, once realizing Covid wasn’t going anywhere, my wedding planner was in direct contact with SF asking what the rescheduling policy was because we were possibly thinking of doing so. Bailey informed us they were allowing all couples to move to any date in 2021 and have first dibs at the available dates (which I have in writing!!!!). By the beginning of April, COVID was uncontrollable and TN shut down, so again We reached out to Bailey and she gave us open dates for 2021 to begin rescheduling, we sent Bailey back a new date in 2021. Then it got weird, we tried getting a hold of Sycamore Farms for multiple weeks of emails & calls and we got NO responses. Finally we got an email stating there was a policy change and if we wanted to move our date we owed 100% of our original wedding date PLUS 75% of a new date! In the middle of a global pandemic where people were being laid off and dying!!!!!! Then we were told once we cancelled our original date, even when we’ve 100% paid for it they turn around and open it back up and try to schedule another wedding there, therefor making double the amount of money! Obviously we did not agree to hosting our Wedding in November 2020 and definitely not paying $18,000 for one wedding date. We had multiple calls with sycamore farms where we were offered February 27 - we were told in order to accommodate all of our guests and to adequately social distance, we’d have to seat half our guests outside. When I said absolutely NOT I was met with attitude and a response from SF of “That is the beginning of springtime!” To which I think we can all agree spring does not agree in February! Then I was offered a Friday wedding date which I’ve already told SF that all my family and friends travel from IL and cannot make it here on time. Not to mention, we have paid for and signed a contract for a Saturday. It doesn’t matter that Williamson County “is open and SF is ready to throw our wedding!” My mother has cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and cannot be around the amount of people at our wedding - we have made it clear multiple times that Sycamore farms is making me choose between having my dream wedding WITHOUT MY MOTHER or losing a large chunk of money and still not having any wedding!!!!! . Caleb & myself have elderly grandparents and family members that should not be around more than groups of 10 people. Which is far less than a wedding, not quite sure how SF does not understand this. Nor do I want my special day to be linked to a Covid outbreak like I’ve been seeing all over the news. The safety of my family and friends far more outweighs proceeding with our wedding. What makes matters even more worse is Arrington Vineyard has cancelled all wedding through 2021! During this time you should be looking to help others, we still wanted to have our wedding there and keep all our money with SF, if you were just willing to work with us you guys could’ve been the best venue ever! Everyone else is taking monetary hits this year to keep up their excellent customer service and amazing reputations - 2 major things sycamore farms lacks! What kind of people decide they need to make money off other people hurting during the middle of a global pandemic?

The Barn failed us as a young couple planning to be wed. We felt quite used during this process. Based on our experience we would not expect The Barn to be a good venue for engaged couples to wed and certainly we would not suggest nor recommend this venue sharing YOUR special day. The Barn at Sycamore Farms in short, was completely non-empathetic to our situation, could have cared less what happened to us and did not even consider what was and what is happening during these veryunprecedented times of COVID-19. Beware of The Barn This is our story: My Fiancé Brian and I booked our wedding date at The Barn for November 1st, 2020 at Sycamore Farms. We all know 2020 has certainly been the year of reckoning and our family is of no exception. As required, we used the “preferred vendors” listed by The Barn to avoid “financial penalties”. This is imperative information due to the nature of this story. As a result of the Global Pandemic, (COVID-19) I was laid off. Simultaneously, my Fiancé got into a terrible car accident which resulted in our truck being completely totaled. A devastating series of events. More money was owed to the bank than the truck was valued at – we are talking thousands of dollars. We had saved for this wedding; we were paying the bill! No one could have ever expected these events to occur and no one could have predicted that a Global Pandemic would still be around TODAY! Sadly, we came to an exceedingly difficult decision - the wedding needed to be canceled. We requested our deposit back from not only The Barn at Sycamore Farms but also from the “preferred vendors”. Every single vendor that The Barn required us to use, returned all our deposits yet The Barn refused! The Barn then had the nerve to let us know not only would they NOT be giving us our deposit back but notified us of our next due payment. What was important for The Barn was their money and their contract. Empathizing with our situation, the reality of the current worldwide pandemic, was not relevant to The Barn. For couples who believe their wedding should be hosted at The Barn at Sycamore Farms, we strongly advise you to look elsewhere. We certainly hope no other couple fall victim to them. No form of a refund nor opportunity to negotiate a refund was made available and certainly no empathic actions towards our crisis were given to us. Beware of The Barn

Let me start by saying that this place is gorgeous and we would have absolutely loved to get married there. That being said, we had our wedding scheduled for 9/18/20, which we had hoped would happen but COVID continues to be ever present and getting worse. We first reached out to discuss options on 7/9/20. After many emails back and forth, them taking quite a long time in-between to respond and requiring multiple follow-up attempts, we were told we would have to pay the full amount of the original day we are not using and then rebook at a 25% discount…Now, to add to this story, we are postponing because the majority of our guest list is from out of town, primarily AZ and CA, which are both COVID “hot spots”. About 3/4 of our guests are not comfortable traveling, understandably, and we have many family members who are “high-risk” according to the CDC. In addition, I am pregnant, which added another level of hesitance as pregnant women are considered “high-risk” and more likely to be hospitalized due to immunological changes and the effects on a newborn are not completely known. I expressed these concerns to The Barn at Sycamore staff, but there was no budging, even with a note from my OB doctor stating it is unsafe for me to be around groups larger than 10 people. I also sent studies from the CDC supporting these claims.The staff at Barn at Sycamore Farms continues to say that they are open and willing to have the event, since restrictions aren’t as present in Williamson County. I pushed that even if there are not local restrictions, there are federal and state guidelines that we should be following and that many of our guests are coming from “hot spots”. Still nothing, no empathy or compassion. We said we are completely open to compromising, but they are not, as we have heard of multiple venues charging couples $1,000 to move their date (even in Murfreesboro), or not charging at all. That means we would be paying close to $13K in total to postpone and have our wedding here, when the original total would have been $7,500 (including prop package). Let me start by saying that this place is gorgeous and we would have absolutely loved to get married there. That being said, we had our wedding scheduled for 9/18/20, which we had hoped would happen but COVID continues to be ever present and getting worse. We first reached out to discuss options on 7/9/20. After many emails back and forth, them taking quite a long time in-between to respond and requiring multiple follow-up attempts, we were told we would have to pay the full amount of the original day we are not using and then rebook at a 25% discount…Now, to add to this story, we are postponing because the majority of our guest list is from out of town, primarily AZ and CA, which are both COVID “hot spots”. About 3/4 of our guests are not comfortable traveling, understandably, and we have many family members who are “high-risk” according to the CDC. In addition, I am pregnant, which added another level of hesitance as pregnant women are considered “high-risk” and more likely to be hospitalized due to immunological changes and the effects on a newborn are not completely known. I expressed these concerns to The Barn at Sycamore staff, but there was no budging, even with a note from my OB doctor stating it is unsafe for me to be around groups larger than 10 people. I also sent studies from the CDC supporting these claims.The staff at Barn at Sycamore Farms continues to say that they are open and willing to have the event, since restrictions aren’t as present in Williamson County. I pushed that even if there are not local restrictions, there are federal and state guidelines that we should be following and that many of our guests are coming from “hot spots”. Still nothing, no empathy or compassion. We said we are completely open to compromising, but they are not, as we have heard of multiple venues charging couples $1,000 to move their date (even in Murfreesboro), or not charging at all. That means we would be paying close to $13K in total to postpone and have our wedding here, when the original total would have been $7,500 (including prop package). My husband and I got married at The Barn at Sycamore Farms in May 2018. It was the most gorgeous venue we looked at during the planning process, and the staff worked with us from the day we toured the venue through the entire day of the wedding. The bridal suite and groom suite are the perfect and most relaxing places to get ready and spend time with our family and friends before the ceremony.Also, I loved having the variety of places to hold our wedding reception because the weather in Nashville in May is very unpredictable. Although we hoped to be married on the beautiful island, it rained just hours before the ceremony and so we moved the ceremony under the back porch area. It was absolutely beautiful, and we had an absolutely wonderful ceremony. The reception area was perfect, as well. Our guests had plenty of room to eat and dance, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The staff there was phenomenal and made our entire day absolutely wonderful. This venue was phenomenal and definitely helped make our dream wedding day a reality!

Overall, our guests were happy with this venue! My husband and I had a great time, and our photos are amazing. The ladies' room is beautiful, and the guys loved the gentlemen's area. The chandelier in the barn really added a lot and made it not feel like the typical Tennessee barn wedding venue. The barn did not feel crowded, and there was plenty of room to include a band, dance floor, and a photo booth with our 190 guest count. I would probably give this venue more of a 3.5 rating, and here is why:1) We had a very poor experience with communication. For example, in a crazy confusion of the A/V package, we were told by a venue representative that they actually didn't know what the A/V package included. Additionally, there were many other instances in which we were confused, such as being told differently than what our contract said pertaining to when forms were due, sent a 90 day payment reminder from a venue representative two months before our wedding (sparking fear that a) our 90 day payment was never received and that b) they had the wrong date on file), just to name a few. Our point of contact changed a few months after our initial booking, which could explain some of the confusion. 2) Fortunately we did not rack up any fees, but contract language includes many ways to get fined (comparatively speaking, much more than other venues). Luckily, we had an awesome planner familiar with the venue's policies, Sweetwater Events, but we couldn't escape the feeling that we were walking on eggshells. A huge thing to know about this venue is the trash situation: they do not have a trash receptacle on site, therefore you can have your caterer take all trash off site to their personal business trash receptacle (which we had to pay an additional $400 for ours to stay at the venue from the end of dinner time to the end of the reception time), work out your own way of doing the trash removal with a lot of headache and likely additional expense, or if any bagged trash is left on site, it is charged an amount per bag resulting in an additional fee. 3) The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL, which is the whole reason we chose it. About two hours before my ceremony, it POURED rain unexpectedly. Then, the sun came out and the paved walk to the bridge immediately dried up, thanks to the power of the hot sun (it was in the 90s that day). I am not sure how this issue could best be tackled, but a construction flaw in the back veranda and the island is a significantly uneven surface, which means that if it rains a decent amount within, I'd say, 12-24 hours of your wedding, it will likely affect your use of the outdoor space. The back veranda had to be squeegeed off in parts, as there were sporadic huge puddles on the concrete ground as rain flooded parts of the veranda. The island had a similar issue; understandably, the aisle (center of the island) was super worn down. Unfortunately for us, though most parts of the island had mostly dried up enough to walk on (in those two hours of baking sun), there were still puddles inches deep in the aisle, resulting in us not being able to use it. Again, I am no construction expert, but I do feel this issue could be improved (and my wedding day would have been much easier if it was never an issue to begin with). This factor made it seem like such a gamble to choose a venue based on the strong hope of an outdoor wedding. Hopefully this is helpful information, as I appreciated many reviews during my wedding planning!

She had great customer service and was quick to respond to any and all questions/ concerns I had. We talked for a year from booking the venue up to the wedding. On the day of, there were landscapers getting the grounds ready early in the morning. They paid great attention to detail when it came to things like knocking down spider webs and cleaning bird poop. As a floral designer, planner and coordinator, the relationship and working environment with the venue is an important part of our success. I've had the chance to work with this venue twice now. Both experiences were great. The grounds are pretty with good options for indoor and outdoor ceremony settings. There's a great patio large enough for an outdoor wedding feel while staying out of the rain. For the decor, they have a prop room filled with all sorts of goodies and a few specialty furniture pieces. The floor plan is spacious and they have a spectacular chandelier that makes the room more elegant, which I love in combination with the barn aesthetic. This barn is more refined. Our experience with Sycamore Farms started well, we met with the manager and signed a contract with them in Sep. of 2016 for our April 2018 wedding. The venue had the atmosphere we were looking for and looked beautiful. We were given a list of preferred vendors to use, but according to the contract, we were only required to pay a $500 fee for a non-approved caterer. We went forward with our plans, and things went smoothly. Two weeks before the wedding, we received an email from Kristina, who works for Southern Events, and she told us that we were using the wrong vendor for our rentals, and that Southern Events had exclusive rights to the venue. We explained that wasn’t how it was worded or stated in our contract, and we felt that two weeks before the wedding was a little short notice if we had to change our rental vendor. We had already made all our payments with everyone by this point. We told our wedding planner to reach out to the manager from Sycamore, to see if this was going to be a problem. The manager told the planner the issue again (again, nowhere did we agree to use any rental vendor in the contract) and said she would talk to Kristina and decide. We didn’t get a final confirmation from the manager until a day and half later, even though Kristina told our planner it was fine before that. A day and a half is a long time when you may have to make wedding altering plans and stressed my wife out completely because we had no final answer. After the manager answered, she told us we had to pay $500 dollars for a non-preferred vendor, but she would waive the fee. We told her nowhere in the contract did it say anything about a fee for rentals, so we don’t know why we would be charged a fee at all. All in all, the venue was great, however, customer service at the venue could be improved, in our opinion the manager was unfriendly and seemingly unappreciative of our business.

All in all, the venue was great, however, customer service at the venue could be improved, in our opinion the manager was unfriendly and seemingly unappreciative of our business.

This was such an amazing venue! I did not want a rustic feeling venue, and I can honestly say that this venue can have any feel you want. It did not feel like a barn at all the way that we designed it! From the time we started, everyone was nothing but helpful. They allowed us to drape the main room for the reception. We were going to have the ceremony under the large tree, but it rained that day. Luckily, everyone was amazing and we made a change. I had my ceremony under the porch, and it was even better than we could have ever imagined! I recommend this venue to anyone! Great getting ready places, great options for everyone, and great staff!

The Barn at Sycamore Farms is where I recently had my wedding, and WOW! It was absolutely amazing & exceeded my dreams for a wedding venue! My husband and I got married on the island outside, and it was absolutely stunning, especially in the evening. Brandy, the site manager, is the BEST!!! She was so much help and made sure my wedding was going to be flawless. She is also available at almost anytime - which is so helpful, because I could email her a question literally anytime and she replied typically within the hour. While the chandelier is the most amazing and beautiful focal point of the inside of the barn, there are also so many other wonderful things about it. There is a ladies & gentleman's suite, and they're both incredible and so accommodating for the day of the wedding. There's also a prop room you can rent for your decorations if you choose (which I did - well worth it).Also, it is out in the \"country\" (aka, not in the middle of downtown Franklin/Nashville) so getting there is so convenient, and it's secluded so you don't have a ton of traffic surrounding your wedding day. One of the biggest compliments of my night was how beautiful the entire venue was and location. Could not have been been more pleased!

The venue itself is beautiful. We truly couldn't ask for a better place for our wedding. With that being said, we were an out of town couple and communication at times was not always clear or easy. I could tell the management meant well at times, but at others there was a blatant disregard for just how little we were asking for how much we were paying. We booked our venue before seeing it in person and definitely were completely unaware of the GIANT electrical towers throughout the property. Though they are easily hidden by skillful photographers, it was an upset to not at least be warned of it - knowing we would not see the venue in person before making a down payment. I don't doubt the Barn will have any trouble maintaining clients with such a gorgeous venue, but customer service could certainly increase in quality.

Absolutely love the wedding venue but had to deal with a lot of drawbacks. During my reception, had a neighbor come in and strobe light us, plus blare her horns because she was unhappy with the music. This was obviously not their first instance of dealing with this problem, but just completely spoilt the mood. We had to go find the manager to go take care of it, instead of being proactive. As beautiful as it is, wouldn't use it again.

We had both our ceremony and reception here recently. The venue is beautiful and the weather was perfect that day. Unfortunately, the venue's \"state of the art\" audio system cut off completely during the ceremony. It was difficult to hear any of the music or our officiant. Sadly, our videographer lost audio input because her equipment was connected to the venue's sound board when the sound went out.After several discussions with the venue, they were less than sympathetic and refused to take responsibility even though the event planner admitted they purchased additional equipment after our wedding to make sure the issue never happened again. Sad to say I can't recommend this venue after our disappointing experience. For the price point, I believe you can find much better value and service.
