This is a must see venue, it is absolutely breathtaking!!! I call it the “hidden gem” Barb and JC are the perfect team and will make all your dreams come true!! The food was amazing!!! I had so many questions, communication was great!! I received so many compliments, and was told our wedding was one of many peoples favorites!!!! If you are looking for a barn wedding it does not get better than here and you can have your dream wedding all in a great budget!!

Barb and JC are the most wonderful people. They are a great team. The hospitality they provided was outstanding. Anything we needed or didn’t even think of needing they were prepared. The Barn at Woodridge was the perfect venue for us! The barn itself is stunning with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The venue was great in working with us to make the day exactly how we wanted it to be by being open to any ideas we had. Several of our guests and bridal party have strict dietary restrictions, and Barb and JC worked with us to accommodate all of them.Throughout the entire process, we had the feeling that their goal was to make sure we were happy without ever trying to be unnecessarily costly . This is in sharp contrast to nearly every other wedding venue/vendor. During planning process, I had a million questions come to mind sporadically. Each time I reached out, Barb responded promptly with clarity and detail.The Barn at Woodridge left nothing to be desired. From the campfire with optional s'mores to the newly renovated cabins to perfect photo locations, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. While providing everything we could ever ask for, we also had the option to supply some items of our choosing including the wedding cake which was handmade from scratch by the groom's grandmother. The Barn at Woodridge also maintains healthy relationships with local vendors including hotel, transportation, DJ, beverage, and photography services. Thus, the vendors we chose already had good ideas of how to make the day even more perfect including the DJ service knowing that uplighting adds to the experience for guests and the photographer knowing the right spots/angles to capture the perfect shot.Taken together, we cannot praise the Barn at Woodridge highly enough. If you are interested in holding your wedding at a venue where you'll be treated like family and have the opportunity to capture exquisite photos, look no further than the Barn at Woodridge.

The Barn at Woodridge is the place to go! Very understanding of our situation with the K1 visa process and therefore they were flexible with wedding dates as we moved it a few times. Straightforward and very helpful when it comes to flowers, hair and makeup, and much more. Food was amazing! Location and environment was breathtaking. Barbara is the sweetest and very responsive to our emails and text! As a bride, I felt at ease with her planning.

We have the most wonderful experience with using The Barn at Woodridge for our wedding. The barn is absolutely beautiful as it is, so it saved us money on only needing table decorations. Having everything at one venue took a lot of stress out of the planning as well. My bridesmaids and I had so much fun decorating the night before then staying in the loft and not having to wake up early the day of the wedding to decorate! The staff was AMAZING. All questions and requests were answered quickly and everyone was so nice and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this venue. The only negative I was the heat. We had around 160 people at our wedding on a very hot day, so it was pretty warm inside the barn. But with the fans and being able to open the barn doors, it cooled off as the night went on and we had a perfect evening!

Barb and her crew are absolutely amazing! They are quick to get back to you about any questions and concerns, and truly make you and your day special! They are super affordable and have made planning so easy! When my photographer showed up late, Barb got out a camera and made sure I had important shots before the wedding! Truly amazing people, beautiful venue, and affordable pricing!

My fiance and I actually booked this venue before seeing it for ourselves. Instead, our parents visited, took photographs, and told us about it best they could. We reserved our spot the next week afraid they’d book up too quickly for us to come and visit for ourselves (we live around 7 hours away). When we visited for the first time there were no disappointments—in fact, I think the venue looks even more beautiful in person than in the photographs. The barn can be slightly difficult to find, so if you book with them I suggest giving your guests detailed directions—we had a few guests, and even our photographer, get lost. My favorite thing about this venue was the amount of time it gave us with our guests. We booked for the full weekend and had our bridal party stay on site from the rehearsal dinner until cleanup on Sunday. With friends who live in different states it was amazing having them all together for that much time. The girls stayed in the loft above the barn and the guys stayed in the cabin, which I would definitely recommend renting. JC and Barb also get two thumbs way up for their dedication to get our ceremony outside despite a terrible forecast and off and on rain showers. I would have been content with an indoor wedding, but I was so much happier to have it on the beautiful hillside overlooking the West Virginia hills. All in all we couldn’t have been happier with our venue selection.

No doubt the venue is absolutely beautiful and easily a 5 star based on looks but it gets two stars for a number of reasons. I attended a wedding and was involved in the days leading up to event.1 Location makes logistics a nightmare. 2 The owners are amazing but the staff is not accommodating and some are plain rude.3 Numerous miscommunication of what you get for the money and when things would be happen. Example guys stayed Friday night and we're expecting a Continental breakfast but the staff later explained they had it marked for Sunday morning not helpful since only one couple stayed Saturday night.4 parking area is all clay and it rained turning it into a mud bog. Only 4wd vehicles could leave without help. The venue did put a staff member in the lot to.help push cars out but most young guys ended u covered in mud from pushing out people. 5 No insulation and two big barn doors to get in and out. Venue was very cold due to weather and the heaters left most people cold unless you were right under them. I'm sure a hot summer day/night would cause a bigger issue since they only have ceiling fans. Again it's beautiful and in the end the evening was a success and the food was very good. Just beware that they don't have every aspect of a wedding venue figured out.

I got married Sept 5, 2015 at The Barn at Woodridge. It was an amazing venue. The ceremony was outside overlooking mountains and the reception was inside the barn. The staff helped make sure the day went perfectly and I had nothing to worry about. You can also stay the night so you don't have to worry about getting up early if you don't live close.

Our Family (Owner) The Barn at Woodridge is a family owned and operated business that started offering venue services for weddings and other special events in 2015. Our barn was specifically constructed to host the wedding of our daughter and son-in-law, and we received so much positive feedback that we decided to open our barn to other happy couples in 2015. Their special day was picture perfect, and it is our great pleasure to offer our customers the ideal rustic venue to make sure that their special days are just as perfect!
