The Barn Smith Lake Reviews
We hosted our wedding at the Barn at Smith Lake this past weekend and have nothing but great things to say! From our very first email interaction, every employee was beyond helpful. Brittney made sure that we had all the information needed prior to touring. Shelly gave us our tour of the venue back in August 2022 and my husband and I fell in love with both the Barn and the Glass House! We ended up renting the Glass House for both Friday and Saturday night. On Friday, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Glass House and loved being able to have all of our bridal party and immediate family in one place, but also at the venue still. Our entire bridal party stayed at the glass house on Friday too which ended up being so fun and a way for everyone to bond prior to the wedding on Saturday. On our wedding day, the girls used the downstairs of the Glass House to get ready and loved having all the natural light. The boys loved being able to go down by the lake on the dock and hung out there all morning before getting ready. Our day of coordinators, Dianna and Shelly, did an amazing job! We met with Dianna about 3 weeks out from the wedding and went over all the little details and what I envisioned specifically for decorations and all. Dianna also ran our rehearsal the night prior to make sure everyone knew where to stand and how the processional and recessional were going to go. On the morning of, Dianna made sure to check on me and talked me through how she decorated everything and if I wanted to change anything around. Once the ceremony started, Shelly and Dianna constantly checked on both my husband and I and if we needed anything. All of guests have raved about how beautiful the venue was! Would highly recommend both the Barn and The Glass House!

Shelly and her team were amazing! The took care of every need we had and more. It always seemed as if they were 2 steps ahead of us at all times. It made the whole experience incredible. I would not change a thing!!! We rented The Barn for the Wedding and Reception, The Glass House for Rehearsal Dinner and Bridal Party accommodations , NOLA for the grooms party and Cottage 2 for out of town guests. They were perfect for what we needed. Again none of our needs went unmet! I highly recommend The Barn for events. The value you get for your money is well worth the investment!
