Set in a quiet corner of Northern Virginia's Wine wine region, The Barns at Hamilton Station has a beautiful space for a rustically romantic wedding! The Barns at Hamilton Station is a twelve acre property with a vineyard, a lake, and a barn built in 1910. Whether you'd love to get married with the backdrop of the Virginia countryside or in a more cozy space inside the original barn, we would love to help you create the wedding of your dreams!
Katelyn Zigner(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-04-2022 We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue with the best wines NOVA has to offer. My husband and I toured this venue just over a year out and tasted such delicious wines! Literally everything we tasted was amazing, and I truly believe this wine is the best in the area. We became Wine Club members that day, and plan to stay members for a long time. We also met Susan, who is the sweetest and most helpful woman we could have asked for. She gave us so many amazing recommendations for decor and food to go along with the rustic-yet-elegant vibe the Barns has to offer by itself. Because of her many years with the Barns and many weddings she helped run, she has a plethora of recommendations for things to-do and not-to-do to make the wedding day go by smoothly. She was SUCH a big help! There were a couple things I loved about this property, the first being the expansive plot of land the Barns has, with stunning views all around. We got married on the back lawn and took all of our photos on the property. There are many great photos with stunning backdrops to choose from! The barn itself is charming but has personality, and it looks updated and well kept. I love how there are two stories, an upper deck, and lower patio. This allowed guests to easily spread out during the reception. We were also able to utilize the fire pit so guests had many options of where to spend the night and not feel cramped at all. Additionally, myself and my bridesmaids were able to use the house at the front of the property all day as we got ready. This made the logistics of where to get hair and makeup done a breeze, and there was a kitchen so we could snack (and make mimosas) all day! I could honestly go on and on about this amazing and affordable venue, but I strongly recommend visiting (and then booking) the Barns! Reviewed on 08-06-2022
Neslie Christofferson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2021 The Barns is a perfect place to have your wedding reception! Due to covid, we chose to postpone our celebration a year. The Barns was flexible, accommodating, and helped us make the right decision for our event. The Barns was the first venue we looked at and we knew right away that was where we wanted to get married. The natural beauty of the property, the laid-back charm of the tasting room, the friendliness of the staff, and the fantastic wines make it an incredible place to celebrate your wedding. We can’t say enough great things about the manager Susan. Her calm and helpful demeanor was a huge part of our decision to have our wedding at The Barns. Laura Stulga(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2021 About 10 years ago, while I was visiting Hamilton Station Vineyards to taste their wine, I saw the lawn out back set up for a wedding and made a mental note of it...and let me say I am so glad I did. We absolutely loved our wedding at The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards! With your rental you have full use of the property and the Farmhouse (as a bridal suite) the day of your wedding. Everyone was so complimentary of the location, and the staff at The Barns were very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention, the wine is great--there will be something for all of your guests to enjoy. If you are looking for the rustic elegant barn wedding, look no further! Reviewed on 22-08-2021

Lauren Russo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-04-2019 We knew we wanted to be married at The Barns during our first visit in August 2018. We signed a contract the same day. Due to some vendor scheduling conflicts, we ended up changing our wedding date. Susan was always so flexible and very responsive. Also you CANNOT beat the price of the Barns! Check out other venues in the Leesburg area and you're looking at $10k just to book the site. Susan accommodated 100 guests for less than $5k and I didn't have to rent ANYTHING. All chairs and tables were provided.I had a lot of anxiety surrounding the timeline of the day because the venue still operates as a tasting room until 5PM on wedding days. I was concerned with a 6PM start time, we would be short on time for ceremony, dinner, and reception. Susan assured me countless times that there is plenty of time for everything. She was so right! By 11PM I was dead on my feet! She flipped that space from tasting room to ceremony space in 45 minutes... she is a queen! She gave us access to the farm house as early as we wanted, so we got there around 1:30PM. It was the perfect space for 14 girls and 5 guys, plus our parents, kids, and cousins to get ready and chill out before the ceremony started at 5:45PM. Photos outside of the farmhouse turned out magical! Family members were able to go down to the tasting room and grab a glass of wine and walk the grounds. Most important thing to know about the Barns is... IT'S A BARN! This is not one of those wanna-be-rustic-glam-farmhouse-looks. It is an actual barn with a really old farmhouse to get ready in. The floors are beat up, the walls are so charming, the chairs don't match, and the lights twinkle, making it so romantic. We considered an outdoor ceremony but ultimately decided on indoors because of how authentic the barn is. If you are a high maintenance bride, this might not be your venue. We brought in hardly any decorations - literally just an American Flag and some picture frames for the welcome table and some flowers. You don't need much, as this place is so sweet as is! Also - best choice we made was to not have liquor at the wedding. The wine is so good and our guests loved it...every had a blast without the sloppiness of shots. We had a live band and the acoustics were INCREDIBLE. Susan has everything you need for an amazing wedding day. We went back the Monday after our wedding to pick up a few things we forgot in the farmhouse and had a chance to chat with Susan and the owner and have a glass of wine. Susan has the best sense of humor while being very \"to the point\". She is incredibly personable. The owner is so sweet and just a down-home kinda guy who loves wine and the outdoors. We really felt like family with them through the planning phase and after! The Barns will always have a special place in our hearts and we are so thankful we live within an hour so that we can visit often and reflect back on our absolutely perfect day. BIG thanks to Susan for her professionalism, calm demeanor, and for reminding me what the day was really about -- having fun, and that less is more. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Angela Landry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-09-2018 Wow wow wow, what a gorgeous venue! I have nothing but good things to say about The Barns. Susan was a joy to work with. The price point felt like a steal for being in such a popular wedding area and for being so incredibly beautiful. The wine--oh the wine--it is so good. The onsite farm house was the perfect location to get ready; it offered both convenience and a great setting for a super cute \"getting ready\" photo session. The whole place is filled with great photo op spots as well. The vines were perfect for our first look. The natural lighting in the back area for the ceremony was like a dream. I could go on, but I wouldn't be able to do it all justice.Additionally, the venue has both an indoor and an outdoor option for the ceremony, both of which are beautiful. We wanted an outdoor wedding but would have been just as happy if it rained and we did it inside--calling the indoor area a \"plan B\" would be an insult.I can't wait to go back over and over again to relive the most perfect day of my life, drink more of the awesome wine, and enjoy the super fun ambiance. If you're considering a winery in Northern Virginia as a wedding venue, you MUST check out The Barns. Courtney Keating(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2018 The Barns was absolutely PERFECT for our wedding! The atmosphere is so cozy and unpretentious, which matches us so well. I loved how everything was on-site, but in a different location to make things dynamic and interesting: getting ready in the barn house, ceremony by the pond, cocktail hour and dancing in the barn, and dinner in the cellar. It was the perfect set up for our intimate party of 88 guests, and we got so many compliments! Although planning a wedding was a LOT of work, Susan made things so easy - she was highly responsive and had so much advice to offer throughout the entire process. I truly felt like I could ask her ANYTHING. And although it may be scary to you and your coordinator to have 1.5 hours to set up, DON'T worry - the crew pulls it off effortlessly. My advice is to follow Susan's recommendations for other vendors, since they really know the venue well (Greg Haynes for music and Vows and Vines for flowers, to name a few). To top everything off, the wine is excellent and the pricing is fantastic! We will be back to the winery time and time again because we love it so much. You will be so happy you chose The Barns! Liv Salvador(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2018 We had our wedding at The Barns on 9/1/18 and it was the perfect venue. My husband and I had toured the venue earlier in the year and we immediately knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Over the course of our rather quick engagement (less than 6 months), we had a great experience working with Susan, both in person and over email, to create our vision. It worked out well that The Barns was hosting a vendor expo a few weeks after we booked the venue and we were able to meet several of their preferred vendors plus several additional ones. I highly suggest you go with individuals that they have experience working with because they have seen it all and worked out several details that I never would have thought about. One thing that stood out about The Barns (outside of the friendliness, energy, and professionalism of Susan!) was having all of the activities (from getting ready, the ceremony, dinner, and dancing) all in the same location-but different parts of the same location, so it almost felt like you had different experiences. We were able to use the farmhouse on site the day of to get ready and the ceremony was held outside, dinner in the beautiful stone cellar, and dancing on their tasting floor!I will have to say that on our wedding day, the skies opened and pour tremendous amounts of rain on us, and despite being outside--it was the most perfect wedding I could have imagined! Everyone, including the staff, were accommodating and flexible and just knew how to have fun with it!We made several visits back to the vineyard during the months before the wedding because first and foremost they have amazing WINE! I can't wait to continue to go back and will forever rave to whoever will listen about how wonderful an experience I have had with them!Thank you so much! Reviewed on 26-09-2018

Shannon Walsh(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-06-2017 Choosing The Barns at Hamilton Station was hands down the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. To start, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our wedding. We got ready in the farmhouse, held the ceremony outside overlooking the pond, hand dinner in the stone-walled cellar, and dancing on the main floor of the barn. From the second we walked in to tour the venue, we knew it was the right place for us. On top of that, Susan, the venue coordinator, was absolutely stellar. She was extremely responsive, professional, and kind through every step of the process. We were lucky enough to have her on-site the evening of the wedding. The added bonus of the farmhouse tables and chairs included in the rental fee defrayed significant costs from our budget. While my husband grew up a short drive from Napa, we both loved the wine and received many compliments from our guests. The venue has a list of preferred caterers, but you can also pay an additional fee to use a caterer not on the list. For us, this was helpful since it helped narrow our search - we ended up using Smokin Willy, which had worked with The Barns many times in the past, which made for a seamless evening. Our guests are still talking about how great the venue was! The ambiance of the winery and 107-year old barn is something that will leave your guests feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy the evening. The farmhouse was convenient to use for getting ready, the vineyard was the perfect first-look location, the silo was a great backdrop for pictures, the ceremony location was breath-taking, the cellar was a quaint dinner location, and the upstairs barn became a great dance floor! Another plus is that the wine is great! Susan was like a second mom to me during the process. She is very accommodating, organized, and patient. The bridal party has access to a private house on the property all day which makes prep a breeze. Everyone who works at there is so helpful. I love the barns. From the moment Angie and I first stepped foot in the barn we thought \"someone should get married here\"...but, we weren't engaged yet :) When we did get engaged, we knew this was the place. It is gorgeous. Needs minimal decor and is a dream, rain or shine. Susan is so easy to work with. After our dinner downstairs, we changed into jeans and cowboy boots and danced upstairs all night. We thought having dinner and dancing on a separate floor might be a problem, but it wasn't at all. We brough cornhole and ladderball for people to play outside and had our absolute dream wedding. We used centerpieces from Wegman's at $12 each and spared the expensive florals and decor. All you need are some tea lights and you are good to go. The barns takes care of the rest. After booking this place, they make you feel like family. The only sad thing is that so many people know about our little hideaway now! Reviewed on 05-10-2015
